[0:34] Speaker 2: All right, boys and girls, here we go on a
[0:36] Speaker 2: busy Wednesday afternoon.
[0:37] Speaker 3: Apple Cup week, baby.
[0:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, right here on 93.3 KJRFM.
[0:42] Speaker 3: And I cannot think of.
[0:43] Speaker 2: A better way to celebrate this great week of college
[0:47] Speaker 2: football rivalry action. And by spending a few minutes with
[0:51] Speaker 2: one of the premier sports talk radio hosts this country
[0:54] Speaker 2: has to offer, beloved Southern California, and I mean beloved
[0:59] Speaker 2: Southern California media figure, one half of the Petros and
[1:03] Speaker 2: Money Show, one damn fine Greek-American, former USC football star,
[1:08] Speaker 2: father of the year, husband of the day, and my friend.
[1:12] Speaker 3: Petros Papadakis. Brought to you by... Sweet James, the dead

[1:32] Speaker 2: call at 809-800-900-000. Don't trust that insurance company. Trust Sweet
[1:34] Speaker 2: James at 809- or sweetjames.com. Well, we're all getting ready
[1:45] Speaker 2: for the Apple Cup on Sunday. I just have one
[1:48] Speaker 2: question for you. Will there be more people at Husky
[1:51] Speaker 2: Stadium Sunday than we saw at the USC-San Jose State game?
[1:56] Speaker 2: I saw you on Twitter. I saw you on X
[1:59] Speaker 2: going after Seth Davis.
[2:02] Speaker 3: You don't know who we are. You don't know what
[2:04] Speaker 3: we are. Pipe down, weirdo.
[2:07] Speaker 2: Listen, say whatever you want about Los Angeles. Look, first
[2:10] Speaker 2: of all, you sound like a jackass.
[2:12] Speaker 3: Ha, ha, ha. Like, can you just not start? Like,
[2:16] Speaker 3: I have anxiety. I have to travel. Could you just
[2:18] Speaker 3: not start the show? Like, it sucks. Okay? Like, I'm
[2:24] Speaker 3: already having a, like, come on, dude. Jesus. Pipe down, weirdo.
[2:35] Speaker 2: First of all, what I don't need is Seth Davis,
[2:38] Speaker 2: these people who come to Los Angeles who never leave, like,
[2:41] Speaker 2: one little suburban enclave. who know nothing about the giant
[2:45] Speaker 2: sprawl of the city or the way people are and
[2:48] Speaker 2: sit there and try to define what LA is and
[2:51] Speaker 2: who will show up for what and why. Shut up,
[2:55] Speaker 2: Seth Davis. But you're right. It is embarrassing. There will
[3:00] Speaker 2: be more people at the Apple Cup, of course. And
[3:04] Speaker 2: USC is supposed to be, as Lincoln Riley described yesterday,
[3:07] Speaker 2: a blue blood program. I know that things are different
[3:10] Speaker 2: as far as college football on TV and competition in
[3:14] Speaker 2: town with the NFL. But USC football, for the amount
[3:19] Speaker 2: of people in this town, should be a draw. And
[3:23] Speaker 2: I think it has to do with Lincoln Riley. I
[3:25] Speaker 2: think it has to do with Lincoln Riley's inability to
[3:29] Speaker 2: excite the city or reach out to the fan base
[3:32] Speaker 2: or alums or really do anything that makes him uncomfortable. Hell,
[3:37] Speaker 2: they had to hire a GM just to drag him
[3:40] Speaker 2: out to meet people at the local high schools.
[3:42] Speaker 3: Right. So....
[3:45] Speaker 2: I think what happened with USC on Saturday against San
[3:48] Speaker 2: Jose State is a product of a few things, but
[3:50] Speaker 2: I think most of it is an indictment on a
[3:53] Speaker 2: program that has had a lot of expectation for a
[3:57] Speaker 2: long time and underachieved.
[4:01] Speaker 3: All right, well, first of all, I'm sorry that you're
[4:03] Speaker 3: having anxiety. All right, well, don't be a d * * *.
[4:06] Speaker 3: I'm not being a d * * *. I'm trying
[4:07] Speaker 3: to empathize with you. What do you mean? That's you.
[4:12] Speaker 2: I know that you suffer from anxiety. I know it's
[4:14] Speaker 2: a real deal for you. I know how much you
[4:16] Speaker 2: hate travel. I know how much you hate people, and
[4:19] Speaker 2: I'm trying to be a little bit sympathetic to you. Fine.
[4:21] Speaker 2: I mean, fine.
[4:22] Speaker 3: God, F off, man. Holy crap. For all the crap
[4:25] Speaker 3: that you give me.
[4:26] Speaker 2: About my social media takes and Twitter behavior, I can't
[4:30] Speaker 2: throw it back at you just a little bit?
[4:31] Speaker 3: Huh? Come on, man. I didn't do anything.
[4:34] Speaker 2: I thought that that crowd over the weekend was embarrassing,
[4:38] Speaker 2: but it wasn't surprising. I mean, wasn't this the game
[4:40] Speaker 2: that they scheduled to replace like Notre Dame or something?
[4:44] Speaker 3: I suppose. And there's nobody there.
[4:46] Speaker 2: Or Fresno. I mean, they were supposed to play Ole Miss.
[4:49] Speaker 2: They were supposed to play Texas Tech in a few weeks,
[4:52] Speaker 2: and Lincoln Riley doesn't want to play any of that.
[4:54] Speaker 3: Wow.
[4:54] Speaker 2: And I think Lincoln Riley closes practice. He does nothing
[4:59] Speaker 2: with the media. This time, a few years ago, we
[5:02] Speaker 2: had a bunch of different.
[5:06] Speaker 3: Issues. Remember when he was trying to ban that media member? Right,
[5:10] Speaker 3: the kid. Yeah, the kid.
[5:11] Speaker 2: Yeah, it never ended. Like, this has been, this is
[5:14] Speaker 2: not a good fit. And it's not just Lincoln Riley.
[5:18] Speaker 2: I think it has something to do with the leadership
[5:20] Speaker 2: at USC, top to bottom. Presidential and the AD and Lincoln.
[5:26] Speaker 2: First of all, they're not on the same page and
[5:28] Speaker 2: they haven't been on the same page in years. And
[5:31] Speaker 2: that has caused problems for the university way beyond Lincoln Riley.
[5:36] Speaker 2: And I think that they haven't done enough to sell
[5:38] Speaker 2: the program in a time where there's more competition in town.
[5:42] Speaker 2: I played in the hottest game in the recorded history
[5:45] Speaker 2: of the Coliseum.
[5:47] Speaker 3: And that was.
[5:48] Speaker 2: 1998 against Purdue and Drew Brees' first start. We didn't
[5:53] Speaker 2: know who he was and he came out looking like
[5:56] Speaker 2: freaking Drew Brees, and it was shocking. And we had
[6:00] Speaker 2: a bunch of cheerleaders and freaking band members on IVs
[6:06] Speaker 2: at halftime and all that, and.
[6:07] Speaker 3: There were 85,000, 90,000 people there.
[6:09] Speaker 2: 2009, Matt Barkley's freshman year when he was a starter,
[6:15] Speaker 2: Pete Carroll's last year before he went to Seattle. They
[6:19] Speaker 2: played San Jose State in the opener. There was 80,000,
[6:21] Speaker 2: 85,000 people there. They played Western Michigan a few years
[6:27] Speaker 2: back on a very hot day, and there was a
[6:30] Speaker 2: whole bunch of people there. USC's raised the prices. I
[6:33] Speaker 2: think it's a big problem that they have down at
[6:35] Speaker 2: San Diego State, too. They've made it too expensive. They've
[6:39] Speaker 2: raised the prices. They've made the tailgate situation super expensive
[6:42] Speaker 2: and very, very limited. It's just not as desirable as
[6:45] Speaker 2: it used to be. And I think that they have
[6:47] Speaker 2: to look at themselves and say, what are we? And, okay,
[6:51] Speaker 2: I think it's great that you beat San Jose State.
[6:54] Speaker 2: You petered out in the third quarter like you always did.
[6:57] Speaker 2: I don't care who you played.
[6:58] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[6:58] Speaker 2: And then San Jose ends up having a great second
[7:03] Speaker 2: half and being able to celebrate their quarterback on social
[7:06] Speaker 2: media and all that and feeling positive about the trip.
[7:10] Speaker 2: And at the end of the day, USC beating San
[7:13] Speaker 2: Jose State by 16 points if you're trying to get
[7:15] Speaker 2: into the college football playoff later in the year. I
[7:17] Speaker 2: don't think that helps as much as playing Notre Dame
[7:19] Speaker 2: week one. So all of it is just very, it's
[7:24] Speaker 2: all very, it's pretty standard operating stuff for our talks.
[7:30] Speaker 3: About USC over the years, Softee. Okay. All right.
[7:32] Speaker 2: But will there be more people at the Wofford-Kent State game?
[7:37] Speaker 3: Than there was at the USC. Is it at Kent State? Yes,
[7:41] Speaker 3: it's at Kent State. How many does it hold?
[7:44] Speaker 2: I have no idea. I got no idea, man. I
[7:47] Speaker 2: didn't realize this was such a sore spot for you.
[7:49] Speaker 2: I thought you were the guy leading the charge.
[7:51] Speaker 3: No, no, it's not. I'm not in a bad mood.
[7:52] Speaker 3: USC has to change that.
[7:54] Speaker 2: No, no, I'm just in a bad mood. USC, look,
[7:57] Speaker 2: I don't know. Fresno's going to be a tougher, more
[8:01] Speaker 2: physical opponent.
[8:03] Speaker 1: Right.
[8:03] Speaker 2: And it's going to be a Friday night. They're playing
[8:07] Speaker 2: tomorrow night or the weekday after tomorrow. And it's, are
[8:12] Speaker 2: you giggling?
[8:14] Speaker 3: A little.
[8:15] Speaker 1: Okay.
[8:16] Speaker 3: Why? Can I not laugh? No, you can laugh all
[8:19] Speaker 3: you want.
[8:20] Speaker 2: I'm sorry. I feel like Forrest Gump. You know, it's
[8:24] Speaker 2: a Labor Day weekend, you know.
[8:25] Speaker 3: What was the name of the game?
[8:26] Speaker 2: Friday, Labor Day weekend, Los Angeles traffic, Friday night, the Coliseum.
[8:31] Speaker 2: I don't know how many people are going to be there, Softie.
[8:33] Speaker 3: What was the name of the character that Tom Hanks
[8:34] Speaker 3: played in Castaway? The guy that was on. I'm sorry.
[8:38] Speaker 3: I'm sorry, man. I'm sorry.
[8:39] Speaker 2: Hey, remember all the crap you gave us for the
[8:41] Speaker 2: George Springer thing? You wouldn't let up. Remember all that?
[8:44] Speaker 2: Remember how mad I got at you on the air?
[8:46] Speaker 2: This is just kind of giving you back a little bit.
[8:48] Speaker 3: It's just nothing like that. Yeah, I know.
[8:50] Speaker 2: Well, how'd they look, though? Because we're going to see
[8:52] Speaker 2: you guys in week five. Hopefully you'll be doing the
[8:55] Speaker 2: national radio call. Is that done, by the way? Yes,
[8:57] Speaker 2: that is done.
[8:58] Speaker 3: Great. Great.
[8:59] Speaker 2: So we'll see you then. But we're coming down there.
[9:01] Speaker 2: You guys got the Ducks before you play UW. How
[9:04] Speaker 2: did Jaden Maiva look? You talked about him petering out
[9:06] Speaker 2: in the second half, which a lot of teams do that.
[9:09] Speaker 2: Lay off the gas. I don't know if that's what
[9:11] Speaker 2: Lincoln did. He looked okay. He missed a couple reads.
[9:14] Speaker 2: San Jose's a lot better than they were last year,
[9:17] Speaker 2: I think. And they weren't that bad last year, but
[9:19] Speaker 2: they had some hard luck losses. But they're a way
[9:22] Speaker 2: spread out team. Sometimes it's hard to gauge because San
[9:26] Speaker 2: Jose State's style, they have the big splits on the lines.
[9:29] Speaker 2: And they have everything as a run read or a
[9:34] Speaker 2: RPO type of read with the offense. Half of their
[9:37] Speaker 2: runs come off of a double read. So it's not
[9:43] Speaker 2: the traditional offense that you would play in college football
[9:47] Speaker 2: week in and week out. They played a lot of
[9:49] Speaker 2: young people. And they have this big DN, Wayfull, who's
[9:53] Speaker 2: supposed to be a big star. And Bowman, who's a
[9:56] Speaker 2: big star, and then Mosley, the receiver, who's a big star,
[10:00] Speaker 2: and they're all freshmen, and that's great, but... I mean,
[10:04] Speaker 2: when you have a bunch of freshmen and they're playing
[10:05] Speaker 2: and you're touting up your freshman class, to me it
[10:07] Speaker 2: just sounds like you're going to lose five games and
[10:09] Speaker 2: you're going to sit there and tell everybody, you can't
[10:12] Speaker 2: fire us.
[10:12] Speaker 3: Look at this class that we have. Look at our
[10:14] Speaker 3: freshman class.
[10:15] Speaker 2: Yeah, well, UW's playing a lot of guys against the Cougs.
[10:18] Speaker 2: They got three guys starting on the line of scrimmage
[10:22] Speaker 2: as 18-year-olds. Two defensive linemen and then one kid named
[10:26] Speaker 2: Cody Green who spent a couple years at Matter Day.
[10:29] Speaker 2: and then came back to Seattle. He's going to start
[10:32] Speaker 2: at left tackle against the Cougs on Sunday.
[10:35] Speaker 3: But I don't know. There's a lot of folks up here.
[10:37] Speaker 2: Petros think the Apple Cup might be going away after
[10:40] Speaker 2: the next couple years.
[10:42] Speaker 3: What do you think?
[10:42] Speaker 2: Yeah, you said that last time. I think that's sad.
[10:45] Speaker 2: I think they should play the Apple Cup.
[10:47] Speaker 3: And I think who knows.
[10:48] Speaker 2: We never know what kind of shape Washington State football
[10:51] Speaker 2: is going to be in. And last year, Washington State
[10:53] Speaker 2: football was not a helpless team. And the year before,
[10:58] Speaker 2: they were a really good team with a very, very
[11:01] Speaker 2: special quarterback. So I don't know why anybody would say that.
[11:05] Speaker 2: I don't know why that would be a topic. I
[11:08] Speaker 2: don't think it's an unwinnable game year in and year out.
[11:11] Speaker 3: Cougar fans don't care. They don't care. They don't want
[11:14] Speaker 3: to play the game anymore.
[11:15] Speaker 2: Did you hear about the latest controversy with the Cougar
[11:17] Speaker 2: marching band, by the way?
[11:19] Speaker 3: I have not.
[11:20] Speaker 2: So they're pissed off that the Huskies are not giving
[11:22] Speaker 2: them good enough free seats for the game.
[11:24] Speaker 3: So they're not coming to the game Sunday. What do
[11:27] Speaker 3: you mean?
[11:28] Speaker 2: Well, you don't want to tuck. I mean, it's the
[11:29] Speaker 2: Apple Cup. You don't want to tuck the band up
[11:31] Speaker 2: into the middle of nowhere.
[11:32] Speaker 3: I mean, they should be featured. They stick the opposing
[11:35] Speaker 3: band in the upper deck in the corner, like Oregon.
[11:38] Speaker 2: That's where they go. Is that what you guys do
[11:41] Speaker 2: to them? Or is that what they do to you
[11:43] Speaker 2: when you guys.
[11:43] Speaker 3: Are in Pullman?
[11:44] Speaker 2: Well, they play in a high school stadium, so they
[11:46] Speaker 2: don't have really an upper deck to stick us. Yeah,
[11:48] Speaker 2: but do they put you up higher? All right, you're
[11:52] Speaker 2: going to be like this about it.
[11:53] Speaker 3: You're going to be insubordinate. It's the truth. Their stadium's
[11:57] Speaker 3: half the size. What do you want from me? I
[12:00] Speaker 3: don't want anything.
[12:01] Speaker 2: You know, I want the Apple Cup to continue. I
[12:05] Speaker 2: think you're being very difficult. I don't think you're representing
[12:10] Speaker 2: the argument in.
[12:11] Speaker 3: The way that it's supposed to be represented. What argument?
[12:13] Speaker 2: The ban goes up in the upper deck. I think
[12:16] Speaker 2: that Patrick Chung, or what's the name of your... Pat Chun,
[12:23] Speaker 2: your AD, should do a better job of accommodating the
[12:28] Speaker 2: Cougar band.
[12:30] Speaker 3: No! Yes.
[12:32] Speaker 2: Well, they can sell those tickets for a lot of money.
[12:34] Speaker 2: That's what the Big Ten's doing now. I think they're
[12:36] Speaker 2: all sticking their bands up in the upper deck now.
[12:38] Speaker 2: That's what everybody does.
[12:39] Speaker 3: Well, okay, that's fine.
[12:40] Speaker 2: You can Big Ten yourself to death, but this is
[12:42] Speaker 2: the Apple Cup, and it's not really a Big Ten thing.
[12:45] Speaker 2: It's a Washington, Washington State thing. Even though you guys
[12:49] Speaker 2: have a Big Ten logo on the jersey. So you're
[12:51] Speaker 2: taking the side of the Cougs. You're taking the side
[12:53] Speaker 2: of the Cougs on this one. In this regard, I am.
[12:56] Speaker 2: But in the regard that Cougar fans don't want to
[12:58] Speaker 2: play the Apple Cup anymore, I'm taking the side of
[13:00] Speaker 2: the dogs.
[13:01] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[13:01] Speaker 3: Well, I'm not sure if the dogs want to play
[13:03] Speaker 3: it either.
[13:04] Speaker 2: To show my impartiality. I'm sure the dogs want to
[13:06] Speaker 2: play it. I'm not sure about that. We're going to
[13:08] Speaker 2: talk to Pat Chun on Friday. We'll get his thoughts
[13:10] Speaker 2: on all that on Friday's show. But, I don't know,
[13:12] Speaker 2: Petro's with us. You're heading to Michigan this weekend. Where
[13:14] Speaker 2: are you going this weekend? What game do you have?
[13:17] Speaker 2: This weekend, I have Michigan State hosting Toledo, which will
[13:21] Speaker 2: be interesting.
[13:22] Speaker 3: Pat Fitzgerald's debut. Former Northwestern coach, right.
[13:26] Speaker 2: Yeah, and he's a very celebrated coach, especially in the
[13:30] Speaker 2: Big Ten. So that'll be cool. And then I'm coming home, actually,
[13:34] Speaker 2: to do the second one. So I'm going to do
[13:36] Speaker 2: the second one remotely on Saturday night. Maybe the only
[13:40] Speaker 2: one I do remotely all year. And that will be Albuquerque,
[13:45] Speaker 2: New Mexico's team with Jason Eck hosting Central Michigan.
[13:50] Speaker 3: Well, he's a hot name. Jason Eck is a great coach.
[13:55] Speaker 2: And I was really impressed with him last year from
[13:57] Speaker 2: what he had done with the Idaho football team. And
[14:00] Speaker 2: he did the same model as Signetti in many ways
[14:03] Speaker 2: with the Indiana. And then Bob Chesney, same school with
[14:07] Speaker 2: UCLA from JMU. And then this guy at Toledo, who's
[14:14] Speaker 2: playing Friday night, Mike Jacobs is the Mercer coach. And
[14:18] Speaker 2: half their players are from.
[14:19] Speaker 3: Mercer that they brought.
[14:21] Speaker 2: They had a lot of success in Georgia, the Mercer team,
[14:24] Speaker 2: at a lower level. So, I mean, it's just a
[14:26] Speaker 2: big formula. But Jason Eck was the guy who did
[14:28] Speaker 2: that with Idaho. and brought his son, who's the Mike
[14:32] Speaker 2: linebacker and a big star and the captain of the team,
[14:34] Speaker 2: and he's a really likable guy. And you meet him
[14:37] Speaker 2: and you like him and you want to be part
[14:40] Speaker 2: of his team, you know, it feels like when you
[14:43] Speaker 2: get around him. They have never had anything like that
[14:46] Speaker 2: at New Mexico. And Bronco did a pretty good job
[14:49] Speaker 2: there a couple years with that quarterback, Zampier, or Dampier,
[14:53] Speaker 2: and I think that obviously Erlacher and all that, but
[14:57] Speaker 2: this is... This guy's a special coach. I'm not sure
[14:59] Speaker 2: how long he'll be there, but we have them on
[15:01] Speaker 2: Saturday night. Well, Friday night, Toledo, Michigan State from East
[15:05] Speaker 2: Lansing on FS1 at 5. You can check out Petros
[15:09] Speaker 2: on TV. Why did UCLA fire their AD so close
[15:14] Speaker 2: to the start of the football season?
[15:17] Speaker 3: I think they fired their AD like a year ago.
[15:19] Speaker 3: They just didn't know it?
[15:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, he didn't know he was fired, and he was
[15:25] Speaker 2: still collecting a check, but At UCLA, it takes a
[15:28] Speaker 2: really long time to get anything done.
[15:32] Speaker 3: Get the word to somebody that they've been terminated.
[15:34] Speaker 2: Yeah, ask your old friend Jim Mora about it. I mean,
[15:37] Speaker 2: that was one of the things that frustrated Jim Mora
[15:39] Speaker 2: for a long time, that if he wanted to fire
[15:42] Speaker 2: a coach or hire a coach, it took him, you know, two, three,
[15:45] Speaker 2: four times as long through the UC system. And all
[15:49] Speaker 2: the different approval you have to get, all the signatures
[15:52] Speaker 2: you have to go through, all the bureaucracy of, of
[15:54] Speaker 2: California education and what is called the UC system. So
[15:59] Speaker 2: I think that probably had something to do with it.
[16:02] Speaker 2: This guy's been operating at a pretty heavy debt. And
[16:06] Speaker 2: beyond that, and they can blame that, no one's going
[16:08] Speaker 2: to say anything because the debt's been embarrassing. And they
[16:11] Speaker 2: were in debt before they started playing players. UCLA's in
[16:14] Speaker 2: debt because they have like a cat juggling team. They
[16:17] Speaker 2: have a team for everything ever in the history of sports.
[16:21] Speaker 2: But I think that he got fired because whatever you
[16:25] Speaker 2: feel about Chip Kelly, you can't say that Jarman didn't
[16:28] Speaker 2: screw up the Chip Kelly situation. And then letting him
[16:32] Speaker 2: go and hiring Deshaun Foster like that was going to
[16:35] Speaker 2: be okay, nobody, no AD was going to survive that.
[16:41] Speaker 2: So that's what happened. It just takes a long time
[16:44] Speaker 2: to get the word. It's like the Pony Express, like
[16:46] Speaker 2: you said, at UCLA. You didn't know the Civil War
[16:49] Speaker 2: ended until like three months after.
[16:50] Speaker 3: It was over. Right. We landed on the moon. By
[16:55] Speaker 3: the way, did you see this story?
[16:57] Speaker 2: There's a book out about Lane Kiffin, some guy named
[17:00] Speaker 2: John Talty, I think is his name, and Vanity Fair
[17:03] Speaker 2: ran an excerpt from it today where there's a quote
[17:06] Speaker 2: from Nick Saban when they were at Alabama together, and
[17:10] Speaker 2: Saban said, according to one former coach, you've got to
[17:13] Speaker 2: keep Lane away from the girls that are in college.
[17:16] Speaker 3: Just keep them away from the sorority girls.
[17:19] Speaker 2: Make sure they've graduated college or are working a job,
[17:23] Speaker 2: said Nick Saban. Does that surprise you he would say
[17:26] Speaker 2: that about your old buddy Lane Kiffin?
[17:28] Speaker 3: No. God, he is just, you know what?
[17:36] Speaker 2: What?
[17:37] Speaker 3: What do you want me to say about it? No,
[17:39] Speaker 3: you were going to ask a question. That he's a clown?
[17:42] Speaker 3: Is that what you want me to say?
[17:43] Speaker 2: No.
[17:46] Speaker 3: Well, is he? Well, it seems so. According to Nick Saban.
[17:53] Speaker 3: I did not think he could get any greasier, man.
[17:54] Speaker 2: I mean, there are as many stories about Lane Kiffin
[17:57] Speaker 2: than there are about Errol Flynn.
[17:59] Speaker 3: You know, like, it's, you know. Let's just say Mike
[18:04] Speaker 3: Price is not even close. Really? Yes. It's that bad?
[18:11] Speaker 2: Wow well yeah you know and the thing that really
[18:14] Speaker 2: bothers me the most about it is he's like into
[18:16] Speaker 2: hot yoga and it's like I do hot yoga you
[18:18] Speaker 2: know what I mean and it's like I'm a hot
[18:20] Speaker 2: yoga bad name right yes it totally is like I'm
[18:23] Speaker 2: not in there to be all creepy and look at
[18:24] Speaker 2: everybody's ass or anything but I mean I don't know
[18:27] Speaker 2: if he is either but that's not the first time
[18:30] Speaker 2: I've heard that about Lane Kiffin it's not the first
[18:32] Speaker 2: thing I've I've I've it's not the first vibe I've
[18:36] Speaker 2: gotten and I'm sure it won't be the last well
[18:39] Speaker 2: did that book just come out Yeah, apparently, yeah. It's
[18:43] Speaker 2: like an expose book about Lane Kiven. You should talk
[18:47] Speaker 2: about it on your show today.
[18:50] Speaker 3: Maybe I will. That's an idea.
[18:52] Speaker 1: All right.
[18:52] Speaker 3: Hey, text me when you land in East Lansing so
[18:55] Speaker 3: I know you're safe. Will you?
[18:57] Speaker 2: Why?
[18:57] Speaker 3: What's the matter? I just want to check on you, man.
[18:59] Speaker 3: I know it's a hard thing to do to travel sometimes.
[19:01] Speaker 3: It'll be early in the morning for me. That's fine.
[19:04] Speaker 3: Shoot me a text. It's the red eye, which really
[19:05] Speaker 3: also upsets me. Oh, that sucks.
[19:07] Speaker 2: And then I land and I can't go to sleep.
[19:09] Speaker 2: I have to go straight to the meetings. And, like,
[19:11] Speaker 2: whenever I do the meetings after the red-eye, like, the
[19:13] Speaker 2: coaches are always like, what's wrong with that guy?
[19:15] Speaker 3: It's like, dude, I'll tell you what's wrong with me.
[19:17] Speaker 3: I get it, man. I get it.
[19:20] Speaker 2: All right, have fun out there as much as you can,
[19:23] Speaker 2: and we'll talk in the Applecast. Well, I'm supposed to
[19:25] Speaker 2: do this thing called Petros' Postcards and, like, take pictures
[19:28] Speaker 2: of myself wherever I go, and it's like, I'm miserable.
[19:33] Speaker 3: Anyway, sorry for yelling at you. That's okay. That's okay.
[19:38] Speaker 3: It was embarrassing for USC. All right. Well, I'm glad
[19:42] Speaker 3: that you admitted that. We'll wrap it with that.
[19:44] Speaker 2: I mean, when Tosh Lupoi and the guy in Lubbock,
[19:47] Speaker 2: Joey McGuire, like when Cal is making fun of you
[19:50] Speaker 2: about attendance.
[19:50] Speaker 3: That's bad. That's bad. All right. We'll talk in a week.
[19:54] Speaker 3: We've got to run.
[19:55] Speaker 2: See you, man. Petros Papadakis with us. We're going to
[19:58] Speaker 2: break Larry Stone at 5, talking Mavis and more. Courtesy
[20:02] Speaker 2: of the Ram on 93.3 KJRFM. All the things you
[20:05] Speaker 2: say to me on Twitter, all the things you do,
