[0:01] Speaker 1: Want to make.
[0:06] Speaker 2: A little extra pocket change for this weekend?
[0:08] Speaker 1: Yes, I do indeed. Well, look no further.
[0:11] Speaker 2: Than Paramount Sports' Lee Sterling to tell you how. Ah,
[0:17] Speaker 2: here he is, our guy. Back-to-back 4-0 Sundays for Lee Sterling.
[0:22] Speaker 2: Eight out of nine winning weeks for his customers, so
[0:25] Speaker 2: why the heck wouldn't you go to Paramount Sports and
[0:28] Speaker 2: get Lee's service? Here, he was 2-2-1 on the show
[0:33] Speaker 2: last week, and he is ready for a winning week. Lee,
[0:36] Speaker 2: how you doing, my man?
[0:38] Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm good.
[0:40] Speaker 3: We always have big weeks and softies away on that
[0:43] Speaker 3: team plane, so it's time to put it into high
[0:47] Speaker 3: gear and love this card. This is probably, now, I
[0:51] Speaker 3: think the college football card next week, I mean, as
[0:54] Speaker 3: far as a viewer goes, unparalleled. I mean, we've got Utah, BYU, Miami,
[0:59] Speaker 3: Notre Dame, LSU, Alabama, and I think there's two or
[1:03] Speaker 3: three other games with top 25 teams matching up, but
[1:07] Speaker 3: As far as betting, this might be the best combined
[1:10] Speaker 3: college and NFL card maybe in the last two, three years.
[1:13] Speaker 2: Oh, I love it. I love it. He's a confident man, Jackson.
[1:16] Speaker 2: He's a confident man going into these picks.
[1:17] Speaker 1: All right.
[1:18] Speaker 2: I've got some big, heavy leans on a lot of
[1:21] Speaker 2: these games you're calling right now, so we'll see if
[1:23] Speaker 2: my intuition is what you're thinking. Ohio State going to USC.
[1:29] Speaker 2: Things are crumbling down in L.A. Ohio State, though, without
[1:33] Speaker 2: their starting quarterback for the rest of the year. They
[1:36] Speaker 2: are six-and-a-half-point favorites at the men of Troy.
[1:39] Speaker 1: Who do you like?
[1:41] Speaker 3: So I went and studied every snap. It looks like
[1:44] Speaker 3: it's going to be Luke Fahey as the starter. And
[1:48] Speaker 3: true freshman, I'm a little shocked, to be honest with you. Now,
[1:52] Speaker 3: there was a statement from Ryan Day saying that.
[1:54] Speaker 1: Fahey is the better player in practice. Okay, great, but.
[1:58] Speaker 3: Playing the game is a little more important. I think
[2:02] Speaker 3: sophomore Tavian St. Clair is actually better. So watching both
[2:06] Speaker 3: of these guys and the snaps that they took against
[2:08] Speaker 3: Ball State, Kent State, and then Fahey against Indiana in
[2:11] Speaker 3: the last nine, ten minutes of that game, I don't
[2:14] Speaker 3: think he's ready. I really don't. They're the better team,
[2:18] Speaker 3: but just studying what's going on. USC, what an underperforming team.
[2:24] Speaker 3: Minus 17 rushing yards against Wisconsin. Wisconsin has a good defense,
[2:29] Speaker 3: but San Jose State could probably run for 30 or
[2:33] Speaker 3: 40 yards.
[2:34] Speaker 1: Against them.
[2:35] Speaker 3: So who knows what kind of crowd we're going to see,
[2:38] Speaker 3: you know, so many decisions in LA fans, you know,
[2:41] Speaker 3: do they take the boat out?
[2:42] Speaker 1: Do they go to the antique car festival? I'm not sure.
[2:46] Speaker 1: You know what?
[2:46] Speaker 3: They might show up. It's a top five team as
[2:50] Speaker 3: an opponent. They have just so underperformed, but I think
[2:53] Speaker 3: they have weapons here. I think that I think it's
[2:56] Speaker 3: going to have.
[2:57] Speaker 1: A huge game here. and shoot some holes in this
[2:59] Speaker 1: defense here.
[3:01] Speaker 3: USC pulls the upset right to the standard.
[3:07] Speaker 1: Trojans 26-23 over the Buckeyes. Wow. Okay.
[3:10] Speaker 2: Well, you were talking about the crowd there. I mean,
[3:12] Speaker 2: every Ohio State grad in about a 100-mile radius of L.A.,
[3:16] Speaker 2: and there's got to be tens of thousands of those
[3:19] Speaker 2: are going to be at that game. So it'll be
[3:21] Speaker 2: a swing. If you like USC pulling the upset straight up.
[3:26] Speaker 1: All right, man.
[3:26] Speaker 2: Nebraska.
[3:28] Speaker 3: For one day, for three hours, no USC soft.
[3:32] Speaker 1: Okay.
[3:32] Speaker 2: I love it. I love it. All right, Nebraska, it's
[3:35] Speaker 2: over a touchdown. Dogs getting the hook here. Nebraska minus
[3:38] Speaker 2: seven and a half against, I got to think it's
[3:41] Speaker 2: Elijah Brown, man. I can't imagine if he puts cracked
[3:45] Speaker 2: ribs to Mond Williams out there to start this game.
[3:49] Speaker 3: I don't think so, and I think the team, the
[3:52] Speaker 3: players really believe in him, and I think it's the
[3:55] Speaker 3: right way to go until he fails. Now, looking at
[3:58] Speaker 3: the talent level and watching Nebraska, Nebraska had one great
[4:01] Speaker 3: game for like three and a half quarters against Indiana,
[4:05] Speaker 3: and then Indiana dialed up a couple great fourth and
[4:08] Speaker 3: one plays. I don't see that much difference at all.
[4:12] Speaker 3: As far as the talent. Now they're obviously playing at home.
[4:14] Speaker 3: Did you see the field, the way they painted it?
[4:16] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[4:16] Speaker 2: With the skull and crossbones.
[4:17] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[4:18] Speaker 2: Oh, pretty cool.
[4:19] Speaker 1: That's a 10 out of 10. Yeah.
[4:21] Speaker 3: That is tremendous here. So I, you know, Washington one
[4:25] Speaker 3: big at Purdue snap that three game losing streak here.
[4:28] Speaker 1: Uh, seems like.
[4:30] Speaker 3: A good spot here for the Huskers to get on
[4:33] Speaker 3: winning track. Uh, I'm going to call for the upset here, 24-23.
[4:36] Speaker 1: There we go. Washington, I think the line's too high.
[4:40] Speaker 1: There we go. Love it.
[4:41] Speaker 2: Likes the dogs, plus the 7.5 and straight up. So
[4:44] Speaker 2: he has had two fairly big dogs winning straight up
[4:48] Speaker 2: so far. All right, we move to the NFL. One
[4:51] Speaker 2: of my picks, one of my picks of the week
[4:54] Speaker 2: in our Factor Fiction was the Lions, minus the 3.5
[4:57] Speaker 2: against the undefeated Vikings. I think they hand them their
[5:00] Speaker 2: first loss of the year. Do you agree with me?
[5:04] Speaker 1: I agree.
[5:05] Speaker 3: And you could see both of these two teams make
[5:07] Speaker 3: some big trades for the trade deadline. I think that
[5:10] Speaker 3: Detroit's going to pull the trigger and trade for at
[5:13] Speaker 3: least one or two defensive backs, maybe a cornerback and
[5:16] Speaker 3: a safety. They're getting some guys back every week. I mean,
[5:20] Speaker 3: if Dan Campbell just doesn't blow it. I mean, that
[5:23] Speaker 3: fourth and goal going for it on the fourth and
[5:25] Speaker 3: six and then fourth and one on your 29-yard line.
[5:29] Speaker 3: I mean, if he just plays a little more conservatively, They.
[5:33] Speaker 1: Win that game easy last week.
[5:35] Speaker 3: On Minnesota's side, I just think the offense is just horrendous.
[5:39] Speaker 3: Defense is great, but Jared Goff has seen these seven
[5:42] Speaker 3: and eight guys up on the line. He's seen every
[5:46] Speaker 3: defense in the book. Vikings averaging about 280 yards per game,
[5:52] Speaker 3: barely more first downs per game than Tennessee, which has
[5:56] Speaker 3: a league low of 15.7 per game. They're only averaging
[5:59] Speaker 3: 4.7 yards per play per Yeah, Denver's going to.
[6:02] Speaker 1: Knock them off here. Who knows?
[6:04] Speaker 3: In a month from now, Minnesota might have three losses.
[6:07] Speaker 3: They might be trading for Herbert here.
[6:11] Speaker 1: I like Detroit 27-17. All right, 27-17.
[6:13] Speaker 2: And, yeah, the Vikings need a quarterback. There's no question
[6:17] Speaker 2: about that. They gave up on McCarthy, and now Kyler
[6:19] Speaker 2: Murray's doing nothing for them. All right, Monday Night Football,
[6:22] Speaker 2: it doesn't get any better than this. I mean, this
[6:24] Speaker 2: could be your NFC Championship game. Hawks minus the three
[6:28] Speaker 2: against Caleb Williams and the Bears.
[6:29] Speaker 1: What do you think?
[6:31] Speaker 3: So I think the Bears still have a couple weaknesses.
[6:33] Speaker 3: I think their offensive line is average at best, and
[6:36] Speaker 3: also I think their secondary is mediocre. So I think
[6:40] Speaker 3: Seattle's going to be able to throw the football on them.
[6:43] Speaker 3: Important to see how Zach Charbonneau comes back here. I
[6:46] Speaker 3: think he's going to be on a pitch count here.
[6:49] Speaker 3: They want to take a look at him. They've got
[6:50] Speaker 3: to make some decisions before we see what happens with
[6:54] Speaker 3: the trade deadline. So if he looks good, they'll run
[6:57] Speaker 3: with it. If not, they could trade. They could try
[6:59] Speaker 3: to get Taylor. You know, they could try to get Barkley.
[7:02] Speaker 3: Who knows what happens? It's going to be crazy. The
[7:05] Speaker 3: difference in this game might come down to special teams.
[7:08] Speaker 3: Michael Dixon, I mean, the way he spins that ball
[7:10] Speaker 3: inside the 10, Jason Myers. I mean, he's deadly inside
[7:14] Speaker 3: of 60 yards here. Yep, the Hawks are going to
[7:17] Speaker 3: win another big game.
[7:19] Speaker 1: Here at night on Monday night, 23-13.
[7:22] Speaker 2: All right, we wrap things up with the Rams. And
[7:24] Speaker 2: how about a Hawks win this week and a Rams loss?
[7:28] Speaker 2: Wouldn't that be something? But they're six-and-a-half-point favorites against the
[7:31] Speaker 2: Crosstown Chargers. Who do you like?
[7:34] Speaker 3: Yeah, so Sunday's win here for the Rams over the
[7:38] Speaker 3: Raiders was First time in five weeks that it wasn't
[7:41] Speaker 3: decided by a four-point margin here. Justin Herbert seems to
[7:45] Speaker 3: look worse every single week, but he's played against some
[7:50] Speaker 3: really good defenses lately here. Chargers defense getting a ton
[7:55] Speaker 3: of players back. Same with the offensive line here. I mean,
[7:59] Speaker 3: there's got to be some regression.
[8:00] Speaker 1: Finally, the Chargers win here.
[8:02] Speaker 3: 26-24.
[8:06] Speaker 2: Jackson, he's got three straight-up dogs of a touchdown winning.
[8:11] Speaker 2: I love this. And this would be a very, very
[8:14] Speaker 2: good week for us here in the Pacific Northwest if
[8:16] Speaker 2: all these things happened. All right, your big game of
[8:18] Speaker 2: the week, Oregon State. The Beavs red hot looking at
[8:22] Speaker 2: a potential playoff berth. Five-and-a-half-point favorites against Fresno State.
[8:28] Speaker 3: Yeah, there's three or four teams in the mix here,
[8:30] Speaker 3: and Oregon State's one of them. So you want to
[8:32] Speaker 3: find out if the Beavs can win and cover against
[8:34] Speaker 3: Fresno State, who have been a thorn in their side before.
[8:38] Speaker 3: You want to get this game, be one of the
[8:39] Speaker 3: first five callers.
[8:40] Speaker 1: Call 800-400-9741. Get Oregon State, Fresno State on me. 800-400-9741.
[8:47] Speaker 3: My NFL game of the year goes on Sunday. We're
[8:51] Speaker 3: on an 8-0 run in the NFL the last two weeks.
[8:55] Speaker 1: So game of the year.
[8:56] Speaker 3: We're a documented 75-34 lifetime on our 40-50 unit max wagers.
[9:03] Speaker 3: This is a 50-unit max wager all the way up here.
[9:08] Speaker 1: Play. You want to check it out. You want to
[9:10] Speaker 1: get involved. Just one place. ParamountSports.com. Love it, man.
[9:13] Speaker 2: Appreciate it. We'll talk to you next week.
[9:16] Speaker 1: Sounds good. See you, Dick.
[9:17] Speaker 2: Oh, man. Jackson, that is going to be a hell
[9:19] Speaker 2: of a weekend. If we get all of what Lee
[9:21] Speaker 2: just said, we get a Husky win straight up in Nebraska.
[9:25] Speaker 2: We get a Seahawks win against the Bears. I go
[9:27] Speaker 2: 2-0 in my fact or fiction picks because he likes
[9:31] Speaker 2: my Lions pick and off the air. By the way,
[9:33] Speaker 2: I'll give a little free pick from Lee. He liked
[9:35] Speaker 2: Iowa as well, minus the two and a half. So that,
[9:38] Speaker 2: I mean, that would be my best week of the year.
[9:40] Speaker 2: If only he was 5-0 last week. He's 2-2-1, so
[9:43] Speaker 2: I'm nervous with the picks.
[9:44] Speaker 1: That's right.
[9:44] Speaker 2: That's just me. He's been solid recently, though. He started cold,
[9:48] Speaker 2: and then he's gotten real solid. We need Lee Sterling
[9:50] Speaker 2: to pick it up for us. 3-56. We got some
[9:53] Speaker 2: fun with audio.
