[0:00] Speaker 1: You're about to listen to the Late Round Fantasy Football show,
[0:03] Speaker 1: which originally aired yesterday on YouTube. If you'd like to
[0:06] Speaker 1: catch it live, you can find it on the Late
[0:08] Speaker 1: Round Fantasy Football YouTube channel at one pm Eastern every
[0:12] Speaker 1: Friday during this twenty twenty five season. That's on YouTube
[0:15] Speaker 1: dot com slash at Late Round FF. So, without further ado,
[0:20] Speaker 1: here's this week's episode.
[0:35] Speaker 2: All right, welcome in Davy Kitchen alongside JJ JJ how
[0:40] Speaker 2: are you doing today?
[0:42] Speaker 3: Had a horrible, horrible Thursday.
[0:44] Speaker 1: Night of football from like an analysis perspective.
[0:48] Speaker 2: Hey, and I can save that analysis because it's the
[0:52] Speaker 2: first bullet point.
[0:54] Speaker 1: Okay, well we can get yeah, like, yes, it was
[0:56] Speaker 1: a it was a rough night from an analysis perspective.
[1:00] Speaker 1: I've already apologized to patrons this morning. I always just
[1:03] Speaker 1: feel bad whenever I get stuff wrong, like and I
[1:06] Speaker 1: was just really wrong. You know about that game. You
[1:09] Speaker 1: know we'll get into it, But yes, I've I've had
[1:13] Speaker 1: better nights from a from a primetime game perspective.
[1:18] Speaker 2: Honestly, if we can take away this rugged exterior that
[1:21] Speaker 2: I have and I can be just honest, I would
[1:24] Speaker 2: say that's one of my favorite things about you is
[1:28] Speaker 2: that you you care. Like when you get things right, obviously,
[1:32] Speaker 2: it's like a high. But when you get things when
[1:34] Speaker 2: things don't go as you predicted where as you rank them, like,
[1:38] Speaker 2: it like it upsets you. Like it's not like a.
[1:41] Speaker 1: Legitimately I'm watching the game last night, I'm like, you
[1:43] Speaker 1: got to be kidding me. I mean and even like
[1:47] Speaker 1: I'm I'm in a live game banter channel all the
[1:50] Speaker 1: time during games, uh, you know, within our discord. And
[1:54] Speaker 1: I love the Rams defense, Like I loved the Rams
[1:58] Speaker 1: defense last night. I don't know how you couldn't on paper.
[2:00] Speaker 1: They checked every freaking box on paper. But Kyle Shanahan
[2:04] Speaker 1: was in his bag. I mean, he he called an
[2:07] Speaker 1: unbelievable game and he made me look like an.
[2:10] Speaker 2: Absolute warn as someone who was forced because of Kayleb Williams,
[2:15] Speaker 2: I was forced to stream Mac Jones. I was like, oh,
[2:19] Speaker 2: this is a pleasant Like by halftime, he had already
[2:21] Speaker 2: outdone like his whole game projection. So whatever we got
[2:24] Speaker 2: after that.
[2:25] Speaker 3: Was at least at least I did. I did have
[2:27] Speaker 3: Matthew Stafford as a streamer this week, so at least
[2:30] Speaker 3: that that worked out.
[2:30] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And I'm still mad that you didn't call
[2:35] Speaker 2: the Kyron Williams uh, you know, eight catch game. How
[2:39] Speaker 2: many catches did he have? I don't know.
[2:41] Speaker 3: I think he had ten targets in the game. I
[2:43] Speaker 3: mean that that's been real.
[2:44] Speaker 1: The craziest one of the weirdest parts of this season
[2:47] Speaker 1: is that Kyan Williams is getting by via receiving like
[2:51] Speaker 1: that that's how And look, he's always had that that
[2:54] Speaker 1: in his in his arsenal. It's just that they haven't
[2:56] Speaker 1: deployed him that way, and they haven't had a high
[2:57] Speaker 1: target share for running backs and years. You know, I
[3:00] Speaker 1: don't know where it's at exactly right now, but just
[3:03] Speaker 1: given the way that offense operates, I don't think it's
[3:05] Speaker 1: gonna like that's probably his highest target share slash target
[3:08] Speaker 1: total he's gonna see all season. But it's been a
[3:10] Speaker 1: really weird year for Kien Williams because the things that
[3:14] Speaker 1: we were a little bit nervous about are happening.
[3:16] Speaker 3: Where Blake Korm is getting more work.
[3:18] Speaker 1: You know, I think last night happened because of the
[3:20] Speaker 1: you know, Blake Hoorm fumbled and then he dropped the
[3:23] Speaker 1: pass and it was just a really bad game for him.
[3:24] Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean, like Kyan's getting there because the
[3:27] Speaker 1: offense is good. I've actually oddly been higher than the
[3:31] Speaker 1: market in my rest of the season rankings with Kien
[3:33] Speaker 1: Williams since the start of the season, basically since like
[3:35] Speaker 1: week two. You know, I was like one or two
[3:38] Speaker 1: running back spots below the market entering the season. But
[3:41] Speaker 1: just a weird year for Kyroen overall.
[3:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm I'm hoping that Jarqus Hunter somehow comes out
[3:49] Speaker 2: of this because of the quorum stuff. Anyways, look at
[3:51] Speaker 2: us just trying to withhold our our like our thoughts.
[3:56] Speaker 1: Talking ball, man, Yeah, I can't stop talking ball. That's
[4:00] Speaker 1: oh in my mindset's.
[4:01] Speaker 3: Out right now.
[4:01] Speaker 1: I had to go for a walk today. I was
[4:03] Speaker 1: telling you before we hopped on, I had to go
[4:05] Speaker 1: for a walk. I usually try to get like a
[4:07] Speaker 1: long walk in once or twice a week, you know,
[4:09] Speaker 1: and then I'll ride the bike other days, I'll waitlift
[4:11] Speaker 1: other days.
[4:12] Speaker 3: Whatever.
[4:12] Speaker 1: I tried to move, you know, at least once a day.
[4:15] Speaker 1: And today I was like, I wasn't. I'm not feeling
[4:16] Speaker 1: that good today. I've got some sinus stuff going on,
[4:19] Speaker 1: and so I'm like, all right, I'm just gonna go
[4:21] Speaker 1: for a long walk. And I had to just tune
[4:22] Speaker 1: out everything football. I turned on a podcast about the Challenge,
[4:27] Speaker 1: which is my guilty Pleasure show.
[4:29] Speaker 3: Uh, and and I just I escaped completely.
[4:31] Speaker 1: I was just completely for an hour and like fifteen minutes,
[4:35] Speaker 1: just walked five miles and I felt great. And you know,
[4:39] Speaker 1: now I'm a little bit more energized than I was
[4:41] Speaker 1: this morning because.
[4:42] Speaker 3: During are one on one this morning, I was kind
[4:44] Speaker 3: of feeling it. I wasn't feeling great.
[4:45] Speaker 2: Yeah I was. I was a little bit nervous. You
[4:48] Speaker 2: were you were kind of like a game time decision.
[4:49] Speaker 2: But you're here. You're toughing it out. We got You're
[4:53] Speaker 2: You're not out like many people are. Uh. Just a reminder,
[4:57] Speaker 2: this is an interactive show. So whether it be during
[5:00] Speaker 2: this show, you know, any comments that you have, any comments,
[5:05] Speaker 2: if it could be like what's up Kitchen from Samir
[5:09] Speaker 2: or Brennan's saying I need a lot of Isaiah Davis
[5:12] Speaker 2: love the Stream Boys, don't let me down MPT saying
[5:16] Speaker 2: never doubt my boy Mac Jones. No, Lie, though I
[5:19] Speaker 2: am scared of Vanderbilt tomorrow, that's that is Uh. I
[5:25] Speaker 2: would be scared of two if I was an Alabama fan.
[5:27] Speaker 2: All Right, So let's Uh, let's just set the table
[5:30] Speaker 2: real quick. We got our weekly rankings, our q and
[5:32] Speaker 2: a chat that's been going off in the you know,
[5:36] Speaker 2: the the banter, the tilting, everything going on the and
[5:41] Speaker 2: the the discord is good. So join us light round
[5:46] Speaker 2: dot com and come hang out with us. It's fun
[5:50] Speaker 2: most of the times. And then also want to shout

[5:56] Speaker 2: description and see where you can deposit, get a five
[5:59] Speaker 2: dollars ticket and play your heart out. As far as dfs,
[6:04] Speaker 2: they got the pick six contests, they got all sorts
[6:06] Speaker 2: of stuff in the promo section as well, So shout
[6:10] Speaker 2: out to DraftKings responsoring show. There's always the qr co
[6:12] Speaker 2: that JJ loves in the corner. And with that being said, JJ,
[6:17] Speaker 2: are you ready because this might be this might be
[6:19] Speaker 2: like the biggest the biggest news that we.
[6:22] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, today's fantasy news.
[6:30] Speaker 2: All right, First, JJ, let's talk about that game last night.
[6:33] Speaker 2: Were you upset at all?
[6:35] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[6:36] Speaker 1: My reaction to that game, WTF is my reaction? I
[6:40] Speaker 1: don't know, man, I mean my if I just were
[6:42] Speaker 1: to brain vomit. I think that Matt Jones is a
[6:45] Speaker 1: capable you know, backup and he's gonna be able to
[6:48] Speaker 1: work in the Shanahan offense. And the one thing that
[6:50] Speaker 1: I think I discounted was sort of his ability to
[6:54] Speaker 1: just just understand an offense and get the ball out
[6:57] Speaker 1: quick and just and just do his job. The Rams
[7:00] Speaker 1: are really good at getting in the quarterback and they
[7:02] Speaker 1: could not get to mac Jones last night at all.
[7:04] Speaker 1: And it's because I didn't see his time, like you know,
[7:07] Speaker 1: average time of throw or to throw numbers, but I
[7:10] Speaker 1: would assume it was pretty low. They just kept running
[7:13] Speaker 1: the same route to Kendrick Bourne and they couldn't stop
[7:16] Speaker 1: it over and over and over again. And that's that
[7:20] Speaker 1: was their game plan. Obviously, they're gonna ride Christian McCaffrey,
[7:23] Speaker 1: and they did ride McCaffrey. But it was just a
[7:26] Speaker 1: really disappointing performance by the Rams defense. I'm disappointed by
[7:30] Speaker 1: what we saw from Blake Korum because obviously he drops
[7:32] Speaker 1: that toss, which I think was still credited to Matthew
[7:35] Speaker 1: Stafford as a fumble because it was never in Korum's possession.
[7:39] Speaker 1: I believe that's the case. But regardless, like he drops
[7:43] Speaker 1: that toss, you know, he drops a screen, you know,
[7:47] Speaker 1: like unlike the next drive or two drives later, I
[7:50] Speaker 1: thought Kyron looked good. I think both of them have
[7:52] Speaker 1: looked pretty good this season. If you watched last night,
[7:55] Speaker 1: you're not necessarily seeing that.
[7:56] Speaker 3: Or thinking that.
[7:57] Speaker 1: But I, you know, like I, I don't think that
[8:00] Speaker 1: anything's going to really change with Kien Williams usage.
[8:02] Speaker 3: I know that he fumbled at the goal line.
[8:03] Speaker 1: He's had fumbling issues, but Sean McVay really likes Kien Williams.
[8:08] Speaker 1: You know, in a I would love to see jarqust
[8:10] Speaker 1: Hunter get run. But I think that this is going
[8:12] Speaker 1: to be sort of a red shirt year, like what
[8:14] Speaker 1: they did with Blake Rn. I know Korm was hurt
[8:16] Speaker 1: a little bit last year, but I don't know. I
[8:18] Speaker 1: think that they are are fine and satisfied with what
[8:21] Speaker 1: they have in that backfield enough, even though they had
[8:24] Speaker 1: kind of questionable plays last night. And then you know,
[8:28] Speaker 1: Puka's doing Puka things. Pooka is to me, the best
[8:31] Speaker 1: player in fantasy football. I think he's the best player
[8:33] Speaker 1: in Dynasty. I'm doing the Dynasty update right now, the
[8:36] Speaker 1: rankings update, and I think he's the one oh one
[8:38] Speaker 1: in Dynasty. Like you you're going, You're you're getting a
[8:42] Speaker 1: historic season from him. I think we all would agree
[8:44] Speaker 1: that he's just going to do that this year as
[8:46] Speaker 1: long as he's healthy. And you can't really put a
[8:48] Speaker 1: price on that.
[8:50] Speaker 2: And so you're using DeVante Adams to clear out guys
[8:53] Speaker 2: for his one yard touchdown, you know it might just
[8:55] Speaker 2: be his year.
[8:56] Speaker 3: And the crazy thing is DeVante Adams has been great too, you.
[8:58] Speaker 2: Know, like and he almost had that touched out the end.
[9:00] Speaker 2: I thought like, sure, like he might. I told you
[9:02] Speaker 2: I needed that. But he's been he's been good. If
[9:06] Speaker 2: you think though about that game last night, because I
[9:08] Speaker 2: thought at the end, like the Rams are gonna come
[9:10] Speaker 2: back and win this, right, But you think about how
[9:14] Speaker 2: close it was and all the things that went wrong
[9:16] Speaker 2: for the Rams fumble on the gold line, CARDI being
[9:19] Speaker 2: terrible as far as extra point miss Phil Gold miss
[9:23] Speaker 2: kicking the ball out of bounds, and then the Korum fumble,
[9:29] Speaker 2: like all that stuff that had to go wrong. Mac
[9:31] Speaker 2: Jones like getting hurt and like coming back, like when
[9:34] Speaker 2: his pants got pulled down, I thought, Okay, it's done. Yeah,
[9:37] Speaker 2: you know he's toast.
[9:38] Speaker 3: Yeah you see.
[9:39] Speaker 1: I mean I think everyone everyone when Mac Jones went
[9:42] Speaker 1: down in that game, was like, oh well, Okay, well
[9:44] Speaker 1: that was fun for you know, three quarters.
[9:46] Speaker 2: But he went down a couple of times. The first time.
[9:48] Speaker 1: Dude, he thought he looked like his body was had
[9:51] Speaker 1: just gone through like running an ultra marathon or something.
[9:55] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy.
[9:56] Speaker 2: Yeah, but he popped, he popped back up. So Ko's I.
[10:00] Speaker 1: Think we're gonna see, you know, them take their time
[10:03] Speaker 1: with rock Perdy. And the nice part about the mac
[10:06] Speaker 1: Jones thing is, you know, I don't know how much
[10:09] Speaker 1: standalone value he's gonna necessarily have because he's a pocket
[10:12] Speaker 1: passer and you know, he's a backup still, and I
[10:15] Speaker 1: do think that they just had the right game plan
[10:17] Speaker 1: in that particular game. They do get Tampa Bay next week, though,
[10:19] Speaker 1: and so I do think you could be a streamer.
[10:22] Speaker 1: But the nice part is that with Ricky Pier saw
[10:24] Speaker 1: Juwan Jennings, George Kittle coming back potentially next week, we
[10:27] Speaker 1: feel better about them in fantasy. So that's good to
[10:30] Speaker 1: have like a very reasonable backup situation in San Francisco
[10:34] Speaker 1: where honestly it's probably like ninety five percent of what
[10:36] Speaker 1: Brock Perdy would do.
[10:37] Speaker 3: It's really not that big of a difference.
[10:38] Speaker 2: Yeah. Hell also said Return of the Mac game for
[10:42] Speaker 2: Sure of fun. Fact, whenever I broke up with my
[10:47] Speaker 2: first girlfriend, that was my theme song back and.
[10:49] Speaker 3: Seventh your theme song for breaking up?
[10:52] Speaker 2: Well, I think she broke up with me, but well.
[10:55] Speaker 1: No, I'm saying like you had a theme song for
[10:57] Speaker 1: actually breaking up, or you're saying those your theme song.
[10:59] Speaker 2: Post break up? Like post breakup?
[11:01] Speaker 3: Yeah, like you were you were coming back.
[11:03] Speaker 2: And turn Yeah yeah, ladies, you.
[11:06] Speaker 3: Know, so really really cool. Yeah I was.
[11:12] Speaker 2: You think I'm cool? Now, all right, the let's get
[11:14] Speaker 2: onto lots of injury news. I don't know how much
[11:18] Speaker 2: time we have for all this, but just to kind
[11:21] Speaker 2: of recap where we are in week five and what
[11:24] Speaker 2: the reactions. What's your reaction is? People don't know. The
[11:27] Speaker 2: worst kind of neighbor is a hurt and injured myleak neighbors.
[11:31] Speaker 2: So yeah, you're sad.
[11:33] Speaker 3: I'm sad.
[11:34] Speaker 1: I I I you know, he's just one of the
[11:37] Speaker 1: best players in football, and you know I had him
[11:40] Speaker 1: on teams.
[11:41] Speaker 3: I'm sure everyone listening to to this have them on teams.
[11:44] Speaker 1: I had to of my my best Dynasty team and
[11:46] Speaker 1: my best Redraft team both had my league neighbors.
[11:48] Speaker 3: And it's you know, that's that's the way it goes
[11:51] Speaker 3: in fantasy football.
[11:53] Speaker 1: You know, you you hopefully can you know, like I
[11:55] Speaker 1: have Digs stepping in and he's sort of like, let's
[11:58] Speaker 1: hope that he can have this resurgence after the first
[12:00] Speaker 1: month of the season, and we saw it a little
[12:02] Speaker 1: bit last week. But regardless of all that, it's just
[12:04] Speaker 1: really sad Jackson Dart. I wanted to see what we
[12:07] Speaker 1: had in him to, you know, like like to see everything,
[12:11] Speaker 1: you know, with a fully healthy, healthy, uh you know
[12:14] Speaker 1: group and pass catching group, We're not gonna see that. Unfortunately.
[12:18] Speaker 1: I think the Giants offense is just not gonna be
[12:20] Speaker 1: very past friendly.
[12:22] Speaker 2: You know.
[12:22] Speaker 1: Darius Slayton's fine, Wandell Robinson's fine. But again, I don't
[12:26] Speaker 1: think people are grounding themselves enough to the fact that
[12:28] Speaker 1: this is likely not going to be like a high volume,
[12:30] Speaker 1: lots of passing yards passing offense. Even though I do
[12:33] Speaker 1: like Jackson Dart quite a bit. Uh, They're probably gonna
[12:35] Speaker 1: be pretty conservative with it. And he also runs the
[12:38] Speaker 1: ball to and so you know, I I love what
[12:41] Speaker 1: the Giants are doing. I think that they have like
[12:43] Speaker 1: a really good, like fun offense and good vibes team,
[12:48] Speaker 1: but it sucks.
[12:49] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just a sad thing that we're.
[12:51] Speaker 1: Dealing with with with moleague neighbors.
[12:54] Speaker 2: Okay, then you got the Dolphins. Their offense reaked with
[13:00] Speaker 2: Tyreek being out, and again another one where we we
[13:04] Speaker 2: saw him kind of start to be not like vintage Greek,
[13:09] Speaker 2: but yeah, but like serviceable for your fantasy.
[13:12] Speaker 3: Very serviceable.
[13:13] Speaker 1: That's the thing that sucks about this is that, like,
[13:15] Speaker 1: you know, I I, for instance, you know, I do
[13:18] Speaker 1: the King's Classic League, and you were there for the
[13:20] Speaker 1: drafts this year in Canton at the Hall of Fame,
[13:23] Speaker 1: and I I drafted two teams. You do a snake
[13:25] Speaker 1: draft and then an auction draft. Who won the Snake
[13:28] Speaker 1: League last year?
[13:29] Speaker 2: You did? Pal Oh, that's right, you did.
[13:32] Speaker 3: That's right, Okay, But I drafted Tyreek Hill in both
[13:35] Speaker 3: of them. Not on purpose.
[13:36] Speaker 1: I just I got stuck with him in the auction
[13:40] Speaker 1: and so I wanted to diversify a little bit more.
[13:42] Speaker 1: But I felt good about having Tyreek after you know,
[13:45] Speaker 1: week two ish, week into week three and whatnot. And
[13:48] Speaker 1: I think that the people who faded him are very
[13:51] Speaker 1: lucky that they faded him, because he was going to
[13:53] Speaker 1: be a good value, you know, given he was going
[13:55] Speaker 1: in like mid three, the middle of the third round
[13:58] Speaker 1: into the fourth round in some drafts.
[14:00] Speaker 3: And and this was just a freak injury.
[14:02] Speaker 1: It's not some It's not like you were It's not
[14:03] Speaker 1: like you were fading Tyreek Hill because you thought his
[14:05] Speaker 1: knee was gonna detach from.
[14:06] Speaker 3: His body, you know.
[14:08] Speaker 1: And so now I think that we're gonna see what
[14:10] Speaker 1: Jalen Wattle's made of. This is the the upside case
[14:13] Speaker 1: for Wattle. I think there's a chance that Wattle could
[14:15] Speaker 1: be a top twenty guy rest of season if things
[14:17] Speaker 1: really hit. But I'm not gonna hold my breath just
[14:20] Speaker 1: because that offensive line still has a lot of issues.
[14:22] Speaker 2: Yeah, Malik Washington went for fifty nine dollars in the
[14:27] Speaker 2: out of one hundred Interstach League by mister Ben Gretch.
[14:30] Speaker 3: Yeah, I've heard. I've heard that that's been going around.
[14:33] Speaker 1: I mean, look, I I like Malik Washington. I liked
[14:36] Speaker 1: him coming out really good yak player. When you watch
[14:40] Speaker 1: the Dolphins sometimes when he has the ball, you're like,
[14:44] Speaker 1: he kind of looks a little bit like Tyreek, like
[14:46] Speaker 1: when he when he's when he's doing stuff after the catch. Now,
[14:49] Speaker 1: obviously Tyreek is a better route runner and gets more separation,
[14:52] Speaker 1: and it's just a better wide receiver. Maleak has still
[14:55] Speaker 1: been more of a manufactured touch kind of player, more
[14:58] Speaker 1: of a slock guy. But maybe he he steps up too,
[15:00] Speaker 1: like I got him in some leagues. You know you
[15:02] Speaker 1: could you could have gotten him. I got him off
[15:04] Speaker 1: the waiver wire in some leagues for less than ten bucks.
[15:06] Speaker 1: I mean, people weren't really that aggressive. I personally liked
[15:09] Speaker 1: Malik Washington more than Darius Slayton of the off the
[15:12] Speaker 1: wire this week, just because I think that there's more
[15:15] Speaker 1: of that, like ambiguous upside. We kind of know where
[15:17] Speaker 1: we're getting with Darius Slayton. Then, like I said, we
[15:19] Speaker 1: kind of have a cap ceiling more than likely with
[15:21] Speaker 1: the Giants passing attack.
[15:23] Speaker 2: All right, now we've got the Washington Commander's passing attack.
[15:27] Speaker 2: If you can tell this is these news items are
[15:30] Speaker 2: grouped by position. So Terry scared he's out again this week.
[15:36] Speaker 2: Scary Terry is and Debo. I guess we're waiting to
[15:40] Speaker 2: see what happens today in practice, but he wasn't practicing
[15:42] Speaker 2: yesterday either.
[15:44] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm still expecting Deebo to go, but we don't
[15:47] Speaker 1: know for sure, like you said, So if he doesn't
[15:50] Speaker 1: like like, there's gonna be this is this is the
[15:52] Speaker 1: way I see it. I think that there's a there
[15:54] Speaker 1: are two, like one to one replacements for each.
[15:57] Speaker 3: Of these players. So for deebo or some for Terry McLaurin,
[16:01] Speaker 3: it would be Noah Brown.
[16:02] Speaker 1: But Noah Brown's hurt also, and so I think it's
[16:05] Speaker 1: gonna be Chris Moore, who's kind of been in the
[16:07] Speaker 1: league for for a while.
[16:09] Speaker 3: He's a veteran player.
[16:10] Speaker 1: But last week Chris Moore only a nine percent target share,
[16:14] Speaker 1: but he had an eighty seven percent route share, which
[16:16] Speaker 1: is really strong. Uh. He ran basically like twice as
[16:19] Speaker 1: many routes as Luke McCaffrey and Jalen Lane. I think
[16:23] Speaker 1: Jalen Lane is the Debo replacement more so because he's
[16:27] Speaker 1: the same kind of like I've talked about him before,
[16:31] Speaker 1: like yards after the catch, manufactured touch, not unlike a
[16:35] Speaker 1: Malik Washington in a way, but like really dynamic, like a.
[16:39] Speaker 3: Really special athlete.
[16:40] Speaker 1: But I don't know how raw, how good, Like he's
[16:44] Speaker 1: kind of raw as an as a real wide receiver.
[16:47] Speaker 1: And so I think that they drafted him with Debo
[16:50] Speaker 1: in mind, and with that sort of like playmaking ability
[16:53] Speaker 1: in mind. But I think if you're talking about like
[16:55] Speaker 1: a true perimeter guy that's going to replace Terry McLaurin.
[16:58] Speaker 3: Chris Moore, Chris Moore's kind of a sleeper this week.
[17:01] Speaker 1: I actually in that same King's Classic league where I
[17:04] Speaker 1: lost Juwan Jennings, I lost Tyreek Hill Roma dunsdays on
[17:08] Speaker 1: by Matthew Golden's on by. It's a really really deep league.
[17:11] Speaker 1: I have to start Chris Moore. So yeah, that's how
[17:14] Speaker 1: that's how deep we're talking in.
[17:15] Speaker 2: Wow.
[17:16] Speaker 3: I mean some of the people that like, some of
[17:17] Speaker 3: the players that people are starting is just like vomit inducing.
[17:20] Speaker 3: It's really really bad.
[17:23] Speaker 1: But yeah, I mean, like I think Moore is a
[17:25] Speaker 1: reasonable really deep sleeper this week based on his route
[17:27] Speaker 1: here last week. And Jayden Daniels is back this week,
[17:29] Speaker 1: so they should get a little bit more going through
[17:31] Speaker 1: the air.
[17:33] Speaker 2: All right, Keeping it a buck is what the kids say.
[17:36] Speaker 2: Uh so keeping it a Bucky or Irving He's out
[17:41] Speaker 2: this week. Yeah, confirmed, And now now we see what
[17:47] Speaker 2: ra Shaan whitez made of and mister.
[17:49] Speaker 1: Tucker, Yeah, I'm excited about this is this is low
[17:53] Speaker 1: key a very like JJ brand week with the running
[17:57] Speaker 1: back position because there's two guys they Rico, Yeah, Rico, Yeah,
[18:01] Speaker 1: that's true. Rico's coming with with C Cuba. You have
[18:04] Speaker 1: Isaiah Davis stepping in for Braylan Allen. I love Isaiah Davis,
[18:08] Speaker 1: and then Sean Tucker. I'm a huge fan of uh
[18:11] Speaker 1: with with Bucky Irving in this in this Buccaneers backfield.
[18:13] Speaker 1: But make no mistake, guys, I'm gonna actually talk about
[18:15] Speaker 1: it when we get to the main event. Rashaan White
[18:17] Speaker 1: is going to be their their one a pretty comfortably,
[18:20] Speaker 1: I would assume. But I do think Sean Tucker is
[18:23] Speaker 1: a very good and underrated player, which is why you
[18:25] Speaker 1: should at least have him on your I'm actually I
[18:27] Speaker 1: have to also start Sean Tucker on that same team.
[18:29] Speaker 2: Sean, I just need to take your for the week.
[18:33] Speaker 3: And I don't know I got CMC. I'm still a
[18:35] Speaker 3: fifty to fifty fifty to fifty.
[18:36] Speaker 1: Uh prop here proposition with with what I have going
[18:40] Speaker 1: so uh because I have Javonte Williams on that team too,
[18:44] Speaker 1: But yeah, uh, you know, I think Sean Tucker is
[18:46] Speaker 1: more of a desperation type play even though like, let's
[18:49] Speaker 1: just be pleasantly surprised if they use him more than
[18:51] Speaker 1: we expect.
[18:53] Speaker 2: Yeah, uh, Jason says, Uh. Basically, Jason, I couldn't say
[18:59] Speaker 2: what cam Ward said because this is a family show.
[19:01] Speaker 2: But that's where I learned. We're keeping it a buck
[19:05] Speaker 2: what it means, Yeah, he said it.
[19:08] Speaker 3: How do you feeling about cam Ward over there?
[19:11] Speaker 2: You know, every time I see an infograph about quarterback play,
[19:15] Speaker 2: it's like, you know, the quadrant, and he is on
[19:19] Speaker 2: just like one corner of the quadrant whatever that is.
[19:21] Speaker 3: He's on his own planet.
[19:23] Speaker 2: Yeah, it's generally just him alone, so not great. But
[19:27] Speaker 2: also they're not doing him any favors. So it's just
[19:33] Speaker 2: what how many?
[19:34] Speaker 3: How many?
[19:35] Speaker 1: How many quarterbacks for the team that drafted them turn
[19:39] Speaker 1: things around for the team that drafted I'm not saying,
[19:41] Speaker 1: I mean, let's say the season's over and you're saying
[19:43] Speaker 1: they didn't do him any favors. How many quarterbacks do
[19:47] Speaker 1: we say that for that end.
[19:48] Speaker 3: Up like being good franchise quarterbacks?
[19:52] Speaker 2: Not a lot. But again, this is such a like
[19:54] Speaker 2: a historically bad patching staff and the pass catchers and
[20:00] Speaker 2: everything else, And you know, we're starting to look at
[20:04] Speaker 2: lots of rumors as far as McCarthy coming to the
[20:07] Speaker 2: Tennessee or uh and Mike McDaniel being the offensive coordinator.
[20:15] Speaker 2: We'll see now if that, if that happens, we'll say
[20:18] Speaker 2: pants will be off. That's all I'm saying. All right,
[20:22] Speaker 2: let's get to the next one. Ri go swall.
[20:27] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna say it's uh, this is
[20:30] Speaker 1: this is gonna be really bad. Actually I'm gonna say
[20:33] Speaker 1: RB one co okay for Rico, right.
[20:37] Speaker 2: You can say that. Yeah.
[20:39] Speaker 3: I think that he is gonna be way, way.
[20:43] Speaker 1: Undervalued by the season long, Like I already heard some
[20:46] Speaker 1: I was actually scrolling TikTok like an hour ago and
[20:48] Speaker 1: I saw a random creator on there saying that they're
[20:50] Speaker 1: gonna play ric o'dowdle like around the Rashad White range
[20:55] Speaker 1: or whatever.
[20:55] Speaker 3: No, No, rico'dowdell for me is a fringe RB one
[20:59] Speaker 3: And how I'm ranking him this week.
[21:01] Speaker 1: I think that he's going to see a lot of
[21:03] Speaker 1: the work in that backfield and they get a good
[21:04] Speaker 1: matchup against Miami. So I'm excited about Rico, and I
[21:07] Speaker 1: am very excited for my best ball bags because I
[21:10] Speaker 1: you know, if any of you guys listen to becoming
[21:11] Speaker 1: a best ball bro.
[21:12] Speaker 3: You know, I drafted a lot of Rico Downeld this year.
[21:15] Speaker 2: Yeah, like for all the running backs that I drafted
[21:18] Speaker 2: late that did not pop in those early teams, talking
[21:21] Speaker 2: about Jayalen Wright, Roshawn Johnson, Andy and Marshawn Lloyd. Those
[21:27] Speaker 2: are the three. Those are the big ones. For as
[21:29] Speaker 2: much that drafted them, I did not. I was you
[21:32] Speaker 2: and I both relatively light on Connor and Cuba. So
[21:37] Speaker 2: this this certainly helps things. But we wish those guys
[21:41] Speaker 2: the best. Another guy that I had a lot of
[21:44] Speaker 2: on some of those teams, Benson, Trey Benson, what are
[21:48] Speaker 2: you doing, Bud? Like you just got you just got
[21:52] Speaker 2: the nod, you know, and then he's out and now
[21:55] Speaker 2: we've got to decide what we're going to do with
[21:58] Speaker 2: this running back splits. We had someone just post in
[22:00] Speaker 2: the NFL News and Rumors Actual channel in a discord
[22:06] Speaker 2: a quote from Jonathan Gannon talking about the running back
[22:10] Speaker 2: snap saying, we'll see they'll all have their roles, they'll
[22:15] Speaker 2: maximize their opportunities. So there you go.
[22:18] Speaker 3: Very helpful.
[22:18] Speaker 1: I have I have Michael Carter over a Mari de Marcado.
[22:22] Speaker 1: I think they're like a tier apart. You know, I
[22:25] Speaker 1: do think technically Demarcado like would have a higher ceiling
[22:29] Speaker 1: because if they do use him on the ground a
[22:31] Speaker 1: lot or like a decent amount, even if it's like
[22:34] Speaker 1: a forty sixty split, he'll get the receiving work, and
[22:37] Speaker 1: so obviously then he would be a little bit more valuable.
[22:40] Speaker 1: But I think that our evidence points to Amri de
[22:45] Speaker 1: Marcado being more of that satellite, you know, third down, back,
[22:48] Speaker 1: hurry up back. A lot of people look at what
[22:50] Speaker 1: happened last week and there's you know, there's this like
[22:53] Speaker 1: notion when this stuff happens, they're like, well, a Mario
[22:56] Speaker 1: Demarcado has been playing ahead of of Michael Carter, so therefore,
[23:02] Speaker 1: you know he would be the one that we would add.
[23:04] Speaker 1: But there's a lot of situations across the league where
[23:07] Speaker 1: some players don't dress because they're not special teamers, and
[23:10] Speaker 1: some players don't dress because they don't have that specific
[23:13] Speaker 1: role on that team. Like a really good example of
[23:14] Speaker 1: this would be if Derek Henry were to get hurt,
[23:17] Speaker 1: Justice Hill would see a spike in a little bit
[23:19] Speaker 1: of a spike, but Keaton Mitchell would be the one
[23:22] Speaker 1: who would step in and probably get more early down
[23:24] Speaker 1: work still than Justice Hill, even though Keaton Mitchell is
[23:28] Speaker 1: not the one that's been dressed and playing right. So
[23:32] Speaker 1: I think it's a similar situation here where I think
[23:34] Speaker 1: Michael Carter probably sees sixty five percent of the team's
[23:38] Speaker 1: rushing work and running back rushes, and then obviously if
[23:41] Speaker 1: he's playing more on first and second down, he'll still
[23:43] Speaker 1: see some work through the air, and then De Marcato
[23:45] Speaker 1: would play two minute hurry up stuff. But this week,
[23:47] Speaker 1: in particular, they get Tennessee, they're huge favorites. Tennessee's been
[23:50] Speaker 1: really good for running backs to score.
[23:54] Speaker 2: Yeah, Tennessee has been really good.
[23:57] Speaker 1: Nothing's good about Tennessee, but they've been good four running
[24:00] Speaker 1: backs in terms of allowing fantasy points even when adjusted
[24:03] Speaker 1: for strength of opponent. And you know, obviously a lot
[24:06] Speaker 1: of that has to do with the fact that they're
[24:07] Speaker 1: in these certain games curs. But they're likely to be
[24:09] Speaker 1: in that kind of game script again this week, and
[24:11] Speaker 1: so I think that does favor Michael Carter a little
[24:14] Speaker 1: bit more, which is why you know, I think Carter
[24:16] Speaker 1: is more of the flex And then i'd put de
[24:18] Speaker 1: Marcado like one tier below that.
[24:21] Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, call him the bree We've got Braylan Allen
[24:27] Speaker 2: out possibly eight to twelve weeks, yeah, is what they're saying.
[24:32] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that Isaiah Davis needs to be added in.
[24:35] Speaker 1: He's only rostered in like four percent of yall of
[24:38] Speaker 1: the leagues right now. He needs to be rostered in
[24:40] Speaker 1: way more. He was really effecive, effective. I don't even
[24:45] Speaker 1: know how to talk right now.
[24:46] Speaker 3: Efficient.
[24:46] Speaker 2: That's effective and efficient, yes, combined, yes, combined.
[24:50] Speaker 1: You guys know my brain goes faster than my mouth oftentimes,
[24:54] Speaker 1: and so you know, I think Isaiah Davis last year
[24:58] Speaker 1: was really an underrated player. I didn't think that he
[25:01] Speaker 1: was anything worse, any worse than what Braylan Allen showed.
[25:05] Speaker 1: I think that what the Jets had was like they're like,
[25:08] Speaker 1: we want to have a hammer in Braylan Allen to
[25:11] Speaker 1: compliment Breecee Hall and Braylan Allen doesn't play nearly as
[25:15] Speaker 1: big as his actual size. Like he's just not He's
[25:19] Speaker 1: not as good of a running back, I think, as
[25:20] Speaker 1: his like frame would suggest and as his body of
[25:23] Speaker 1: work would suggest. But he himself, you know, there's still
[25:26] Speaker 1: room to grow. He's only like twenty one years old
[25:28] Speaker 1: right now. But I liked Isaiah Davis coming out last year.
[25:31] Speaker 1: You guys might remember I was kind of pissed off
[25:33] Speaker 1: whenever the Jets drafted both of these guys because I
[25:36] Speaker 1: didn't mind Braylan Allen either. I wanted them to at
[25:38] Speaker 1: least get some opportunity in like separate spots. But now
[25:41] Speaker 1: I think Isaiahdavis is going to see that opportunity. He's
[25:43] Speaker 1: more of a pass catcher than Braylon Allen. They could realistically,
[25:46] Speaker 1: like like just wrote, like more comfortably rotate Breeze Hall
[25:49] Speaker 1: and Isaiah Davis than I think they could with Braylon
[25:52] Speaker 1: Allen and Breecee Hall. So I'm into Isaiah Davis. Great
[25:56] Speaker 1: matchup this weekends, Dallas. I think that he could be
[25:58] Speaker 1: considered like a desperation flat if you need something.
[26:01] Speaker 2: Yeah, But that that Breeze Hall exposure though, aren't you
[26:06] Speaker 2: so glad now that you wrote that newsletter or that that.
[26:10] Speaker 1: He Yeah, that you did right where I talked about
[26:12] Speaker 1: how everyone's fading Breeze Hall, but let's not totally fade
[26:15] Speaker 1: Breese Hall.
[26:15] Speaker 2: Yeah, and then at the end you're like, I don't
[26:17] Speaker 2: even know. I think the conclusion I came to is
[26:20] Speaker 2: like he has upside, and I was like, well, let's
[26:24] Speaker 2: just put that. Yeah. Yeah, I mean like that's exactly
[26:27] Speaker 2: what's happened.
[26:28] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, like I think Breece is good, Like
[26:30] Speaker 1: he's still like there last week. There were definitely times
[26:33] Speaker 1: I think it was after like he kind of rolled
[26:35] Speaker 1: his ankle a little bit down the sideline. He looked
[26:38] Speaker 1: a little bit slower, And there's been times where like
[26:41] Speaker 1: he's done that where he's just kind of like not
[26:44] Speaker 1: looked like you know, year one or like pre ACL
[26:47] Speaker 1: even like even some of the plays post ACL Breeze Hall.
[26:51] Speaker 3: But I still think he's really good. And that's why
[26:54] Speaker 3: I didn't want to fad.
[26:55] Speaker 1: I don't want to fade really really good players, you know,
[26:57] Speaker 1: Like there are some guys where I am okay with
[27:01] Speaker 1: like full full fading, Like I full faded Jerry Judy
[27:04] Speaker 1: this year, you know, because I just we had a large,
[27:08] Speaker 1: you know, number of years of him being a pretty
[27:10] Speaker 1: mid wide receiver or at least not like an elite
[27:13] Speaker 1: one from a fantasy perspective.
[27:14] Speaker 3: So that makes me feel a little bit more comfortable
[27:16] Speaker 3: kind of going through and.
[27:17] Speaker 1: Doing that, Whereas there's gonna be like soft fades like
[27:20] Speaker 1: a like a Kirene or a Zay Flowers or something
[27:23] Speaker 1: like that where I'm still gonna draft them, uh in
[27:25] Speaker 1: certain spots, but they're they're talented enough where I don't
[27:27] Speaker 1: want a full fade because there and Breeshall was like
[27:29] Speaker 1: that where I mean I was more a market just
[27:31] Speaker 1: because everyone else started to just say no to Bresall.
[27:35] Speaker 1: So I'm like, all right, I guess I'm gonna get
[27:36] Speaker 1: a little hal But yes, and these instances, I'm very
[27:39] Speaker 1: glad that I wrote an email like that makes me
[27:41] Speaker 1: feel good that I covered my bases and people knew
[27:43] Speaker 1: where I stood before the season started.
[27:45] Speaker 2: Yeah, because at that point people were just tanking them.
[27:48] Speaker 2: So good job by, good job by you, you know,
[27:50] Speaker 2: just bringing a little bit of hey level. We need
[27:54] Speaker 2: some levelheadedness, some levelheadedness, yeah, late round level headedness. All right,
[27:58] Speaker 2: Titans find a new weapon, and that is Spears. Is
[28:02] Speaker 2: he officially back, he's coming back. He's like he was
[28:06] Speaker 2: limited yesterday. I think he was out there today in
[28:08] Speaker 2: today's practice. So if he's not out there to this week,
[28:12] Speaker 2: he'll be out there next week. But certainly helps the
[28:15] Speaker 2: Titans when he comes back.
[28:16] Speaker 1: So my reaction that I put down here is Pollard
[28:18] Speaker 1: cell because when I did my rest of season rankings,
[28:22] Speaker 1: he was still being ranked like as if nothing's happening
[28:25] Speaker 1: with this backfield, where clearly.
[28:26] Speaker 3: Something's happening with his back.
[28:27] Speaker 1: But if Taja Spears is back, that's gonna limit Tony
[28:31] Speaker 1: Pollard's volume, and that's in an offense that's not gonna
[28:33] Speaker 1: score much, and so he needs that volume. We can
[28:35] Speaker 1: actually look at a chart in today's data that'll show
[28:39] Speaker 1: this a little bit more. But he's not even seeing
[28:41] Speaker 1: like that much work as a receiver. I think Spears
[28:43] Speaker 1: is fine to stash right now, but I do worry
[28:45] Speaker 1: about like they're not really targeting the running back position
[28:48] Speaker 1: that much.
[28:49] Speaker 3: You know.
[28:50] Speaker 1: I do think that Spears like is a dynamic player,
[28:53] Speaker 1: and probably more dynamic than Tony Pollard, whereas Pollard is
[28:57] Speaker 1: just a little bit more solid. And we know that
[28:58] Speaker 1: what we're getting with him out of him. And so
[29:02] Speaker 1: in a situation where Tennessee's offense isn't gonna give you
[29:05] Speaker 1: a lot, you might need the playmaker a little bit more.
[29:07] Speaker 1: You might need the Taj Spears a little bit more.
[29:11] Speaker 1: And so I would say that Spears is kind of
[29:14] Speaker 1: interesting from that perspective. I just have a really hard
[29:17] Speaker 1: time going with either one of these running backs and
[29:20] Speaker 1: such a putrid offense. What are the chances that these
[29:23] Speaker 1: guys are I mean, they're just handcuffs for one another,
[29:26] Speaker 1: like Paullard can still be usable, don't get me wrong,
[29:28] Speaker 1: but I just mean, like a true you know, RB
[29:31] Speaker 1: two type ceiling consistently, you're probably gonna need an injury
[29:34] Speaker 1: to the other guy.
[29:35] Speaker 2: Uh. Speaking of running backs, I enjoyed the running back
[29:39] Speaker 2: conversation today with your perspectives, guess, mister James.
[29:43] Speaker 3: Co Yeah, with with what part did you let enjoy.
[29:46] Speaker 2: The running back discussion, Like we're talking about outside runs
[29:50] Speaker 2: like that.
[29:51] Speaker 1: He definitely he's been doing a lot of work with
[29:53] Speaker 1: with the running back stuff, and it's definitely something him
[29:55] Speaker 1: him bringing up the outside you know, I said it
[29:58] Speaker 1: on the show, but it's like, what are the I'm
[30:01] Speaker 1: obviously thinking about, like what the inputs are to these
[30:04] Speaker 1: outside runs and obviously like it's the zone schemes that
[30:07] Speaker 1: he was referencing, you know that that Kubiak tree, the
[30:10] Speaker 1: Shanahan tree, and then there's obviously like the speed and
[30:14] Speaker 1: athleticism component to it. But then he made the point
[30:16] Speaker 1: he was just like Okay, but they're just doing it.
[30:18] Speaker 1: It's like, Okay, that's true. We don't need to like
[30:20] Speaker 1: necessarily like dig into the inputs so much as much
[30:23] Speaker 1: as we just need to know who's doing it. And
[30:25] Speaker 1: so I do think it's something that a lot of
[30:26] Speaker 1: people should be you know, I'll probably dig into over
[30:29] Speaker 1: the next week or so.
[30:30] Speaker 2: Okay, we got to move a little bit quicker with this. Well,
[30:34] Speaker 2: let's let's group the quarterbacks together. Browns, they shocked the
[30:38] Speaker 2: world by naming a new quarterback. They never do this.
[30:41] Speaker 2: And then Ravens, man, it's gonna be tough for them.
[30:45] Speaker 2: So what's your thoughts on Cooper Rush this week? And
[30:49] Speaker 2: then Dylan Gabriel.
[30:51] Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm excited to see Dylan Gabriel play.
[30:55] Speaker 3: I think he can be a distributor.
[30:56] Speaker 1: And I think that they might see a little bit
[30:58] Speaker 1: more lower aid dot like not as much aggression within
[31:01] Speaker 1: their offense, which is gonna help a guy like Harold
[31:03] Speaker 1: Fannin a little bit. So I'm gonna say I think
[31:06] Speaker 1: this actually might help Fannin. So I'm gonna say Fanning up.
[31:09] Speaker 1: And then Cooper Rush, I think everyone is down. You know,
[31:13] Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson's arguably the best quarterback in football, and when
[31:17] Speaker 1: he's out, that's gonna hurt everyone in the offense. I mean,
[31:19] Speaker 1: we might see a little bit more passing volume like
[31:23] Speaker 1: that could happen, which sounds backwards and weird, but we
[31:26] Speaker 1: obviously know that game script and Lamar being able to
[31:30] Speaker 1: run the ball means less passing volume. But yeah, I
[31:34] Speaker 1: mean it's Cooper rush. Like it's hard to get really excited.
[31:37] Speaker 2: Okay, And in the tight end position, we had just
[31:40] Speaker 2: had word the Jatavian Sanders out again this week. But really,
[31:43] Speaker 2: the good news may be bad news. The bad news
[31:46] Speaker 2: is the whole rock Bower situation. He's still clearly vomited
[31:52] Speaker 2: with this with this knee injury. But the good news
[31:54] Speaker 2: is that we got so many streamers this week.
[31:57] Speaker 1: We have a lot of streamers. Yeah, it's a good,
[32:00] Speaker 1: I'll say, a good streaming week for these tight ends.
[32:03] Speaker 1: I said, weck, I'm not even gonna I'm not even
[32:05] Speaker 1: gonna fix that type of We're just gonna.
[32:06] Speaker 2: Let alreadys say that and the eyes go back and
[32:08] Speaker 2: you fix it.
[32:09] Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna fix it.
[32:12] Speaker 1: I know, I I it's a it's a good streaming
[32:14] Speaker 1: week for tight ends. You know, I think Michael Meyer
[32:17] Speaker 1: would just join the club if brock Bauers were.
[32:20] Speaker 2: To be out. So, yeah, he was out last week.
[32:22] Speaker 2: I don't even know what if he's gonna be back
[32:25] Speaker 2: this week.
[32:26] Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know. I would just just keep tabs
[32:28] Speaker 3: on it.
[32:29] Speaker 2: Yeah, and you've you've talked earlier in this week also
[32:32] Speaker 2: especially the Q and A, we talked about a lot
[32:34] Speaker 2: of tight end options. All right, Well that's all the
[32:38] Speaker 2: news JJ, So let's go on to the next big thing.
[32:45] Speaker 3: Today's data.
[32:50] Speaker 1: Kind of a Christian McCaffrey chart that I put together
[32:54] Speaker 1: for today's For today's data, I actually didn't even put
[32:57] Speaker 1: last night's numbers in here.
[32:59] Speaker 3: But this is.
[33:00] Speaker 1: On the X Access you have running back Rush air
[33:02] Speaker 1: per game, and on the Y Access you have target
[33:04] Speaker 1: share per game. Obviously, this is more visual, and so
[33:07] Speaker 1: you should be watching on YouTube to be able to
[33:10] Speaker 1: see this. If you're listening and just you know, in
[33:12] Speaker 1: the podcast feed, you can obviously just go to the
[33:15] Speaker 1: YouTube show. But I do think it's interesting to kind
[33:18] Speaker 1: of bucket these players, as I call workhorses, players who
[33:21] Speaker 1: see a lot of work on the ground but not
[33:23] Speaker 1: as much through the air. And then bell Cow's are
[33:25] Speaker 1: like the true three down, you know, guys seeing like
[33:28] Speaker 1: a lot of work on the ground and the air and.
[33:30] Speaker 3: Through the air.
[33:31] Speaker 1: And then obviously there's the just general pass catchers, the
[33:33] Speaker 1: pass catching specialists, and then there's just the inconsistent usage players.
[33:37] Speaker 3: That's the bottom left quadrant.
[33:38] Speaker 1: And I do think that it captures like the archetypes
[33:42] Speaker 1: of these players really well, even just by like looking
[33:45] Speaker 1: at this snapshot. Now you're gonna get like David Montgomery
[33:48] Speaker 1: as an inconsistent usage player, and we know that the
[33:50] Speaker 1: offense can elevate him to being a more friendly fantasy
[33:53] Speaker 1: running back.
[33:54] Speaker 2: But players that are is it? I mean, last week
[33:56] Speaker 2: he proved he's he can be inconsistent.
[33:59] Speaker 1: Right right, Like you have you know, some rookies in
[34:01] Speaker 1: there that hopefully they start to move towards the right
[34:03] Speaker 1: a little bit more like a Woody Marx and R. J.
[34:06] Speaker 1: Harvey and stuff. But like Isaiah Pacheco is in that
[34:08] Speaker 1: inconsistent usage. You know, you have Zach Charbonnet in there,
[34:13] Speaker 1: you know, Kareem Hunt, Chris Rodriguez, Tyler Aljier. And then
[34:16] Speaker 1: you move to the right. And this is where I
[34:18] Speaker 1: was talking about Tony Pollard. Look at Tony Pollard's running
[34:20] Speaker 1: back rush share like it's crazy, but he's not seeing
[34:23] Speaker 1: that much work through the air. And that's where like
[34:26] Speaker 1: if Taj Spears is there, then it's capping his ceiling
[34:28] Speaker 1: even more for that growth, you know, it's just not
[34:30] Speaker 1: going to be there. And then you look at Christian
[34:32] Speaker 1: McCaffrey up in the top and it's like, like his
[34:35] Speaker 1: usage is just out of control. It was like a
[34:37] Speaker 1: thirty percent almost a thirty percent running back or a
[34:40] Speaker 1: target share in per game in that San Francisco offense.
[34:44] Speaker 1: But you know the other players in that Bell Cow
[34:47] Speaker 1: bucket are Devon a Chan, Breize Hall, Saquon Barkley. You know,
[34:51] Speaker 1: DeAndre Swift is probably a surprise one, but we know
[34:54] Speaker 1: that he's seeing a lot of work in his backfield.
[34:56] Speaker 3: Jalen Warren.
[34:57] Speaker 1: It's just it's just an interesting chart to kind of
[34:59] Speaker 1: look at four weeks and say, here's how these teams
[35:02] Speaker 1: are deploying these backs, and here's how we can kind
[35:04] Speaker 1: of categorize these players.
[35:06] Speaker 2: Yeah, Chase Brown kind of in that Tony Pollard bucket.
[35:08] Speaker 2: As far as like the offense not being great right now,
[35:13] Speaker 2: like what is what is it just a.
[35:15] Speaker 1: Little bit more the difference with him and Pollard is
[35:17] Speaker 1: that he will see more work through the air.
[35:19] Speaker 3: And I'm calling it right now. I should have made
[35:21] Speaker 3: this a bold prediction.
[35:22] Speaker 1: I think Cincinnati has a chance to be a lot
[35:24] Speaker 1: better offensively.
[35:25] Speaker 3: This week than they have been the last two.
[35:27] Speaker 2: Really yeah, Okay, I thought you it was gonna be
[35:31] Speaker 2: on a Titan side and I was.
[35:32] Speaker 3: Like, what, definitely not Titans.
[35:34] Speaker 2: No Titans beat the Cardinals this week. My thing is,
[35:40] Speaker 2: like everyone is, if if this does not, if this
[35:43] Speaker 2: is not a good week for Browning, you're gonna see panic.
[35:47] Speaker 2: People are already claiming like just wanted Jameis Winston to
[35:51] Speaker 2: be there in Cincinnati, Like that's how, that's how things
[35:54] Speaker 2: are right now.
[35:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we talked about it on perspectives how
[35:58] Speaker 1: I had sort of vibes take But you get Minnesota,
[36:02] Speaker 1: you're on the road the last two weeks.
[36:04] Speaker 3: Since now he's on the road the last two weeks.
[36:06] Speaker 1: They get Minnesota, and Minnesota's coming off a really bad
[36:09] Speaker 1: loss against Atlanta, and obviously Minnesota has a good defense.
[36:13] Speaker 3: Then they get Denver.
[36:14] Speaker 1: Denver's coming off a really sad loss against the Chargers,
[36:17] Speaker 1: and obviously the Broncos have a good defense. And I
[36:19] Speaker 1: do think there's like a human element of football where
[36:23] Speaker 1: these teams are like, okay, we got to do this,
[36:27] Speaker 1: like we got like we've all played team sports before.
[36:29] Speaker 1: And I'm not I'm not one of those like analytical
[36:32] Speaker 1: analysts who are like, there's no such thing as, you know, momentum.
[36:37] Speaker 1: I don't think it's moment I think that momentum is
[36:39] Speaker 1: the wrong way to phrase it. I think it's just
[36:41] Speaker 1: being in a flow state, right, And like like you
[36:44] Speaker 1: can if you have played any sport before, you know
[36:48] Speaker 1: that you personally can be in that flow state where
[36:51] Speaker 1: you're just draining every three, where you're hitting every pass
[36:54] Speaker 1: like everything's just working for you. And yes, it's a
[36:57] Speaker 1: little bit different in football because there's eleven different people
[37:00] Speaker 1: they need to come together to do things. But on
[37:02] Speaker 1: a singular play, you don't necessarily need all eleven to
[37:05] Speaker 1: hit at the same time. Like one guy cannot be
[37:07] Speaker 1: playing that well on offense or something that the offense
[37:09] Speaker 1: is still cooking, you know.
[37:11] Speaker 2: So I believe in this Squeaky Will narrative where a
[37:14] Speaker 2: guy like Jamar Chase, if it's gonna happen for him,
[37:16] Speaker 2: it's gonna be this week. That's my thing.
[37:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, part of that's just like natural regression.
[37:20] Speaker 1: And like this is when people talk about like do
[37:22] Speaker 1: you ever go with your gut JJ, And I'm like,
[37:25] Speaker 1: your gut is inherently doing calculations about what you're seeing
[37:29] Speaker 1: and absorbing and analyzing. So I don't think your gut
[37:34] Speaker 1: is something that's completely independent of analytics and you know,
[37:38] Speaker 1: like knowledge. I don't think it's just like, yeah, I'm
[37:41] Speaker 1: gonna throw a dart, that's what my gut's saying. No,
[37:43] Speaker 1: your gut is literally internalizing all these different inputs.
[37:46] Speaker 3: You just can't comprehend it consciously. You know. Maybe we're
[37:49] Speaker 3: getting way too deep here, but.
[37:51] Speaker 1: I do think that this is all really necessary to
[37:54] Speaker 1: throw out there so that people know where I'm coming
[37:57] Speaker 1: from as like a analytical in and a number of
[38:00] Speaker 1: an analyst. I'm not just someone who only looks at
[38:03] Speaker 1: spreadsheets with this stuff.
[38:04] Speaker 3: And then it's silly.
[38:05] Speaker 2: From intelligent guts to the main event. It's the late round,
[38:10] Speaker 2: main event. Hey, we're gonna start with players you like
[38:15] Speaker 2: more than consensus this week and starting with Justin Fields.
[38:20] Speaker 3: Imagine it.
[38:20] Speaker 1: On the on the Sleeper Show, I said, I think
[38:22] Speaker 1: you can rank Justin Fields all the way up to
[38:24] Speaker 1: QB two. I haven't ranked as QB two this week.
[38:26] Speaker 1: I mean maybe that's aggressive. You know, I do have
[38:29] Speaker 1: them in a tier with other guys, so I could
[38:31] Speaker 1: you know, if you want Jayden Daniels or whomever, that's fine.
[38:34] Speaker 1: But Fields gets the Cowboys this week, and his two
[38:38] Speaker 1: completed games this year, he scored twenty nine and a
[38:40] Speaker 1: half and twenty seven point one standard fantasy points. Dallas
[38:44] Speaker 1: is the best team for quarterbacks by justin points allowed.
[38:47] Speaker 1: They're giving up ninety three more yards than what would
[38:50] Speaker 1: be expected of them based on their early season schedule
[38:52] Speaker 1: and performance at these quarterbacks. So I mean you look
[38:55] Speaker 1: at their their game, their their team total. It's like
[38:57] Speaker 1: twenty two and a half points for the Jets this week.
[39:01] Speaker 1: I think on paper it makes sense to be really
[39:03] Speaker 1: high on Justin Field this week. I mean, anything's possible
[39:05] Speaker 1: from a results standpoint, but I think process wise, you
[39:07] Speaker 1: should like him.
[39:09] Speaker 2: I'm in one like normy league with like not not
[39:13] Speaker 2: my home league, not analysts, just it's a normal league
[39:16] Speaker 2: that I joined one of my one of my friends,
[39:21] Speaker 2: and I was able to pick up Justin Fields who
[39:25] Speaker 2: had cleared the waverwear. Yeah, because I had Lamar Jackson
[39:28] Speaker 2: and I'm just like, it was so refreshing to me. Yeah,
[39:32] Speaker 2: in a in a very frustrating waiver wire week where
[39:35] Speaker 2: I'm just getting out bid by everybody, there's nobody who's
[39:38] Speaker 2: like is sneaking by? I was like, man, this is nice.
[39:42] Speaker 3: You need to play.
[39:43] Speaker 1: I think everyone should experience all types of leagues, like
[39:46] Speaker 1: in terms of like in their portfolio every single year,
[39:49] Speaker 1: Like I talked about the King's Classic one where I'm
[39:51] Speaker 1: gonna have to start Chris Freaking More and Sean Tucker
[39:54] Speaker 1: and then you know, I'm gonna go to a home
[39:57] Speaker 1: league that I'm in, you know, a local league where
[40:00] Speaker 1: some of them are actually kind of deep, but then
[40:02] Speaker 1: there's others that are like, oh, I can just get
[40:04] Speaker 1: this guy off waive. Like I picked up Jake Ferguson
[40:06] Speaker 1: in a tight end premium league off waivers in the
[40:09] Speaker 1: league and like like two weeks or a tight end
[40:12] Speaker 1: premium league and.
[40:14] Speaker 3: Jake I was like, why is why did this happen?
[40:17] Speaker 1: And so I just picked him up and I have
[40:18] Speaker 1: Dak and I have this stack now of Dak and
[40:21] Speaker 1: Jake Ferguson.
[40:22] Speaker 3: It's phenomenally fun. Like it's a good time.
[40:24] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you need those kinds of leagues to like,
[40:27] Speaker 1: you know, be like, Okay, I can see, you know
[40:29] Speaker 1: if I miss out on something like there's some leagues
[40:31] Speaker 1: where you you miss out on like a dollar or
[40:32] Speaker 1: two on the hot waiver guy, like you can just
[40:34] Speaker 1: get them for free in those other leagues.
[40:38] Speaker 2: Okay, running back, you got Rashad White, and you even
[40:42] Speaker 2: with Bucky out, you have your rank for him higher
[40:45] Speaker 2: than everybody else.
[40:47] Speaker 3: I do.
[40:48] Speaker 1: I'm a little bit, you know, concerned that it's probably
[40:51] Speaker 1: a little bit too high.
[40:53] Speaker 3: So so take this all with a grain of salt.
[40:55] Speaker 3: It's really just a volume thing.
[40:56] Speaker 1: I do think he's gonna be comfortably the one A
[40:59] Speaker 1: in that back this week, but I still think Sean
[41:01] Speaker 1: Tucker should be added because we could be pleasantly surprised.
[41:04] Speaker 3: And I also think Tucker's really really good.
[41:06] Speaker 1: So you know, if Bucky missus next week, then we
[41:08] Speaker 1: would feel more confident in playing Tucker, unless you're in
[41:10] Speaker 1: that crazy league Mike Mine, where I have to start him.
[41:14] Speaker 1: But I think he's gonna see the most work in
[41:15] Speaker 1: Tampa Bay. In that backfield, they can run the ball
[41:18] Speaker 1: really effectively just as a team, you know, the matchup
[41:21] Speaker 1: isn't like great or horrible on paper, but he has
[41:24] Speaker 1: the clear pass catching role. I would assume he sees
[41:26] Speaker 1: the goal line work as well.
[41:28] Speaker 2: You know.
[41:29] Speaker 1: I just think that it's a solid enough play and
[41:31] Speaker 1: I don't want to overthink it too too much.
[41:35] Speaker 2: Okay, you got Keenan Allen.
[41:37] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm actually surprised that he's not ranked higher, just
[41:41] Speaker 1: given how well he's performed so far this year. So
[41:46] Speaker 1: the Chargers have a twenty five and a half point
[41:48] Speaker 1: ply team total against Washington. This is one of the
[41:50] Speaker 1: games where, like, would you be shocked if it shoots
[41:51] Speaker 1: out a little bit?
[41:52] Speaker 3: You know, like if it's a high scoring game.
[41:55] Speaker 1: Uh, the offensive line issues for the Chargers might face,
[41:58] Speaker 1: might might force some of those lower aid dot looks,
[42:01] Speaker 1: which is going to help a player like Keenan Allen
[42:02] Speaker 1: more than like a Quentin Johnston.
[42:04] Speaker 3: And then lad mconkie would would be helped a little
[42:06] Speaker 3: bit too.
[42:07] Speaker 1: He's run about forty five percent of his routes from
[42:10] Speaker 1: the slot this season and Washington is ninth and adjusted
[42:15] Speaker 1: slot target share allowed to wide receivers.
[42:17] Speaker 3: So like that's good.
[42:18] Speaker 1: I like Ladd McConkey this week too, Like, I know,
[42:21] Speaker 1: I said that last week and it really was a
[42:23] Speaker 1: bad call. But this could be the week where, like
[42:26] Speaker 1: it's not as much QJ, but it's a little bit
[42:28] Speaker 1: more Keenan Allen and Ladd just based on what's going
[42:31] Speaker 1: on with this offensive line.
[42:33] Speaker 3: But we've said that in the past and it's been
[42:34] Speaker 3: a QJ week.
[42:36] Speaker 1: But yeah, I think I think Keenan Allen should be
[42:38] Speaker 1: ranked a little bit higher this week.
[42:40] Speaker 2: All Right, this guy no stranger to the late round brand,
[42:44] Speaker 2: and his mom is just a fantastic human being that
[42:48] Speaker 2: we have both met JJ.
[42:49] Speaker 3: Yeah, one of the greatest moms, yeah, in this country.
[42:55] Speaker 2: So that's how I praise Harold Fannon. You've got tight
[42:58] Speaker 2: End twelve compared to tight End fifteen.
[43:00] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that you could even go higher with
[43:02] Speaker 1: fannin this week. It's a really fun spot for him
[43:05] Speaker 1: because obviously Cedric Tillman being out, I think is going
[43:09] Speaker 1: to force them to use a lot more twelve personnel
[43:12] Speaker 1: and sort of make fannin the de facto slot player
[43:15] Speaker 1: for this offense. And you're gonna have Isaiah Bond on
[43:18] Speaker 1: the other side with Jerry Judy, And it just so
[43:20] Speaker 1: happens they're playing Minnesota, who's allowed the highest slot target
[43:24] Speaker 1: share allowed to Justin for strengthen the opponent in the
[43:26] Speaker 1: NFL so far this year. And then on top of that,
[43:29] Speaker 1: we know that Fannin is sort of more you know,
[43:31] Speaker 1: he's like the him versus in Joku. He's the crisper
[43:34] Speaker 1: route runner, like he's more of the traditional like against
[43:37] Speaker 1: slot player, if you will, whereas in Djoku can kind
[43:39] Speaker 1: of stretch the field and do more with his athleticism.
[43:42] Speaker 1: I think that's good for Gabriel where he might be
[43:45] Speaker 1: under pressure a little bit in this game because Minnesota
[43:47] Speaker 1: has a decent front. He also might just want to
[43:50] Speaker 1: be conservative with the ball. So I honestly think this
[43:53] Speaker 1: could be a game for Harold Fannin where he catches
[43:56] Speaker 1: like seven balls for sixty or seventy yards, like a
[43:58] Speaker 1: really nice floor game from a PPR perspective. At least
[44:02] Speaker 1: that's what logic is telling me. But I think that
[44:05] Speaker 1: this can go in a lot of different directions still,
[44:07] Speaker 1: which is why I'm not going to be too too
[44:08] Speaker 1: aggressive and where I'm ranking.
[44:09] Speaker 2: Now, look at you playing logic to the Cleveland Browns offense.
[44:12] Speaker 2: All right, let's let's move on to bold predictions for
[44:16] Speaker 2: this week, starting with Jamison Williams bouncing back, big time.
[44:20] Speaker 3: Big time bounce back.
[44:22] Speaker 1: Now, I will say Cincinnati has actually not faced a
[44:25] Speaker 1: ton of deep balls this season. That could just be
[44:29] Speaker 1: that they've seen certain game scripts and stuff. I don't
[44:32] Speaker 1: want to look too much into that. We know it's
[44:33] Speaker 1: a good matchup. We know JMO has a one route
[44:37] Speaker 1: share in three or four games this year, and Cincinnati's
[44:41] Speaker 1: a top five matchup. Like I said, four wide receivers
[44:43] Speaker 1: and adjustin points allowed. So we're gonna say big Jmo
[44:46] Speaker 1: week this week against Cincinnati.
[44:48] Speaker 2: Okay, big Jmo week and a big Rico week this week.
[44:51] Speaker 1: As I'm saying, man, I think Rico Dado can be
[44:53] Speaker 1: a top eight running back because there's a very real chance.
[44:56] Speaker 1: I do think they could use some Trevor etn. But
[44:59] Speaker 1: I think there's a chance that we see, like you know,
[45:02] Speaker 1: Cuba Hubbard Week one workload for Rico downal. I don't
[45:06] Speaker 1: say week two, three, or four, because over the last
[45:08] Speaker 1: few weeks Tuba has been more in that like sixty
[45:10] Speaker 1: percent sixty to sixty five percent running back rush are range.
[45:13] Speaker 1: But like week one, I'm talking like eighty percent running
[45:16] Speaker 1: back rush are eleven twelve percent target share. He's just
[45:20] Speaker 1: a bell cow for Carolina this week, and it just
[45:23] Speaker 1: so happens to be in a very very good matchup.
[45:25] Speaker 1: And by the way, next week, Carolina gets Dallas. So
[45:29] Speaker 1: not only is it a great matchup for Rico if
[45:31] Speaker 1: Tuba were to still be out, it's a revenge game, folks,
[45:34] Speaker 1: it's a revenge game for Rico down.
[45:36] Speaker 2: That's right. I didn't even thought about that. I did
[45:39] Speaker 2: see that they're plann Dallas next week because it's on
[45:41] Speaker 2: your look ahead waiver wire. Uh, let's get to some
[45:44] Speaker 2: of these guys and look ahead where we're wre I
[45:46] Speaker 2: want to point out just one thing real quick though,
[45:49] Speaker 2: j J, if you can, there's one name on here
[45:51] Speaker 2: that sticks out. Yeah, a guy that you have talked
[45:55] Speaker 2: about a lot for these like waver wires look Ahead
[45:59] Speaker 2: stat A guy that reminds me kind of Woody Marks.
[46:03] Speaker 2: It's not Jaden Blue. It's Richard Smith. Oh yeah, as
[46:09] Speaker 2: a guy who like is keeps on being on this
[46:11] Speaker 2: and like eventually it's gonna happen for him and you're
[46:13] Speaker 2: gonna be too late. You've missed the bus.
[46:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean we've talked about him a lot. I
[46:16] Speaker 1: mean he was in the Draft Guide as a late
[46:18] Speaker 1: round dart throw.
[46:19] Speaker 3: And you know he's another guy. I think I'm also
[46:21] Speaker 3: starting him on that team.
[46:23] Speaker 2: That I was talking like, there's no chance you are
[46:27] Speaker 2: of fifty to fifty to win that guys, I will share. No, No,
[46:32] Speaker 2: the other guy has someone on by.
[46:34] Speaker 1: I think it's it's my good friend Jim Coventry, who
[46:37] Speaker 1: also has a struggling team based on buys and injuries
[46:40] Speaker 1: and all.
[46:41] Speaker 3: That kind of stuff. So I will show you guys
[46:43] Speaker 3: the matchup.
[46:44] Speaker 1: You know, after we'll look kind of next week, we'll
[46:46] Speaker 1: take a screenshot of the of the matchup and see
[46:48] Speaker 1: what happened. I'm probably string with Kendrick Bourne, though, Kendrick Bourne,
[46:52] Speaker 1: I mean, we'll see if the wide receiver injuries sustain
[46:55] Speaker 1: week over week.
[46:56] Speaker 3: And same with George Kittle.
[46:57] Speaker 1: He obviously saw a huge work this past week or
[47:01] Speaker 1: started this past week last night against the Rams. He's
[47:05] Speaker 1: gonna be in Waiver wire columns. You know, I don't
[47:07] Speaker 1: know how aggressive you really need to get him, but
[47:10] Speaker 1: he's someone to at least pay attention to.
[47:12] Speaker 2: It honestly made me sad for like my Juwan Jennings
[47:16] Speaker 2: and Ricky Piersol.
[47:17] Speaker 1: Like dude, Juwan Jennings would have gone I mean, both
[47:21] Speaker 1: of them would have gone ballistic last night.
[47:23] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[47:24] Speaker 1: I mean, Kendrick Borne had a decent game, don't get
[47:26] Speaker 1: me wrong, but like I said, like a.
[47:27] Speaker 2: Be had a bad drop, you know, and he had
[47:29] Speaker 2: drops the week before that as well.
[47:31] Speaker 1: They're also like I'm telling the like they ran this,
[47:34] Speaker 1: I want to see his his his route shot tree. Yeah,
[47:37] Speaker 1: because it looked like he was just doing the same
[47:39] Speaker 1: thing over and over again.
[47:41] Speaker 2: Okay, let's let's go to the other guy throwing him
[47:44] Speaker 2: the balls. Mac Jones. Yeah.
[47:46] Speaker 3: They get Tampa Bay next week, so he could be
[47:49] Speaker 3: a streamer.
[47:49] Speaker 1: Tampa Bay is a generally a plus matchup for quarterbacks
[47:53] Speaker 1: for Carolina.
[47:54] Speaker 2: You have Bryce Young and the guy you just talked about,
[47:57] Speaker 2: Trev Ten. I also have Jimmy Horn dude down here,
[48:01] Speaker 2: Yeah Coker. So they just announced Coker's twenty one day
[48:05] Speaker 2: window is now open to come back. Yeah.
[48:08] Speaker 1: So I have Jimmy Horn on there because David Moore
[48:11] Speaker 1: went to IR Jimmy Horn.
[48:13] Speaker 3: Actually the Zap model didn't mind him that much.
[48:16] Speaker 1: Yeah, and so I'm kind of intrigued to see what
[48:19] Speaker 1: he might be able to do. You know, there's kind
[48:22] Speaker 1: of a redundancy with like Hunter Renfro and stuff. But
[48:25] Speaker 1: maybe he finds the field a little bit, maybe he surprises,
[48:27] Speaker 1: maybe he does something. This is a deep league play.
[48:29] Speaker 1: Same with Trevory Tann It's more of a deep league
[48:32] Speaker 1: type type. Ad and Stash just if they give him
[48:35] Speaker 1: more work than we expect versus him and Rico Daudele
[48:38] Speaker 1: and then Bryce Hung gets I mean, they get Dallas
[48:40] Speaker 1: next week. So that's why it's intriguing Bryce Young against
[48:42] Speaker 1: Dallas again. Dallas has been unbelievably friendly for fantasy football
[48:46] Speaker 1: this year.
[48:47] Speaker 2: I have Horn and Coker on my Insiders Dynasty Best
[48:54] Speaker 2: Ball league in which I'm playing you this week.
[48:57] Speaker 1: JJ, well, I hope you beat me because I'm not
[49:00] Speaker 1: not ready to win yet. My team's actually not that
[49:01] Speaker 1: bad in that league though.
[49:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's not that bad. But I showed you
[49:05] Speaker 2: my team. It's loaded.
[49:07] Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, to be fair, I took I took
[49:09] Speaker 3: over an orphan and that.
[49:10] Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, it's like like I built that thing
[49:13] Speaker 2: three or four years ago. But if you look at
[49:15] Speaker 2: my team, it's.
[49:16] Speaker 3: Not the most active league in the world.
[49:18] Speaker 2: It's yeah, because it's the best ball team. But if
[49:20] Speaker 2: you look at my team. It's kind of like teams quickly,
[49:23] Speaker 2: would you calm down so I can give you some
[49:27] Speaker 2: praise just for a second. If you look at my
[49:30] Speaker 2: if you look at my team, it's got JJ's Paul
[49:33] Speaker 2: Prance all over it. Though, it's got Puka. Uh, it's
[49:37] Speaker 2: got a Marion Hampton, egg Buka Romadonza, Brian Thomas Junior.
[49:42] Speaker 2: I'm not sure if you want to take credit for that,
[49:44] Speaker 2: but all these guys, I would.
[49:46] Speaker 1: I should take credit for Brian Thomas Junior, and probably
[49:48] Speaker 1: not a dounsday I was. I was just at market
[49:50] Speaker 1: with a Dunza.
[49:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, but I was thinking about trading him this year.
[49:54] Speaker 3: I mean in Dynasty. I liked him this year to redraft.
[49:56] Speaker 2: Sorry, yeah, but I was thinking about trading him this year,
[49:59] Speaker 2: and I was like, why not have both Igbuka and
[50:01] Speaker 2: a dounsay?
[50:02] Speaker 3: Yeah?
[50:02] Speaker 1: And why you know what's crazy is that that whole thing, right,
[50:07] Speaker 1: It's just insane that they're just both they're both top
[50:10] Speaker 1: ten wide receivers in Dynasty. Now, Like I couldn't have
[50:12] Speaker 1: asked for a better outcome than that, because then we're
[50:15] Speaker 1: all like, Okay, we see all of these outcomes, like
[50:19] Speaker 1: we see the great outcome happening for a Donsay, but
[50:21] Speaker 1: we see the process work from an Igbuka standpoint, you know,
[50:25] Speaker 1: like the ninetieth percentile is hitting for both of them.
[50:28] Speaker 2: And the guy you traded a Donsay too should be
[50:30] Speaker 2: thanking you because he might not have picked Igbuka in
[50:33] Speaker 2: that spot.
[50:34] Speaker 3: That's right, that's right.
[50:35] Speaker 2: It's all good for everybody, literally maybe everybody. All right,
[50:40] Speaker 2: you've already talked about Michael Carter, You've already talked about
[50:43] Speaker 2: Sean Tucker. You have not talked about this guy yet,
[50:48] Speaker 2: So we talk about him a lot in the in
[50:50] Speaker 2: the Waiver Wire show, the Q and A Show, and
[50:52] Speaker 2: the discord. Uh, Jaden Blue, he's gonna play this way?
[50:56] Speaker 3: I mean he's gonna address this week side plays.
[51:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't.
[51:00] Speaker 1: I haven't seen the status update officially on Miles Sanders,
[51:03] Speaker 1: if he's officially out or or not. If he's if
[51:06] Speaker 1: he's officially out and not going to play, then Jayden
[51:09] Speaker 1: Blue could actually just see some work in this game.
[51:12] Speaker 1: And look, anytime there is an electric with the ball
[51:16] Speaker 1: in his hands kind of player and they're a rookie
[51:19] Speaker 1: and there's a little bit of hype behind them, I
[51:22] Speaker 1: want to have them stashed because just a couple plays,
[51:24] Speaker 1: remember Keaton Mitchell, Like a couple plays, all of a sudden,
[51:27] Speaker 1: they're the hot waiver ad And I'm not saying that
[51:30] Speaker 1: they become an RB two were better in fantasy. I'm
[51:33] Speaker 1: saying you just want to add value to your fantasy
[51:35] Speaker 1: team and this is one way of doing that right now.
[51:38] Speaker 2: These two guys also mentioned earlier this week on the
[51:42] Speaker 2: pod Isaiah Bond, who is the Cleveland just got for
[51:46] Speaker 2: free and Elijah Royo, the tight end for the Seahawks.
[51:50] Speaker 1: Yeah, so Isaiah Bond was someone that the Za model
[51:54] Speaker 1: actually liked him. We had off the field stuff, so
[51:56] Speaker 1: we went undrafted. You know, he's a he's a solid player,
[52:00] Speaker 1: he can get down the field. I'm not expecting, you know,
[52:05] Speaker 1: a lot of production from him this week with Cedric
[52:07] Speaker 1: Tillman out, but we could see production down the line
[52:10] Speaker 1: because Dylan Gabriel gets more reps and Cedric Tillman is now.
[52:13] Speaker 1: I think he's a fishing on IR and so Bond
[52:17] Speaker 1: will be their wide receiver too with him on IR.
[52:20] Speaker 1: So he should be added in like you know, twelve
[52:23] Speaker 1: plus leagues with like seven or so bench spots, you know,
[52:26] Speaker 1: he's not like a absolute must. And then Elijah Royo,
[52:30] Speaker 1: he's just been seeing more work. Like this past week,
[52:33] Speaker 1: he saw a lot more work in that Seattle offense.
[52:36] Speaker 1: I think he was like a seventeen percent target share,
[52:38] Speaker 1: sixty one percent route share. Anytime you get a good
[52:43] Speaker 1: rookie tight end pass catcher seeing more and more work,
[52:46] Speaker 1: they should be on your radar.
[52:47] Speaker 3: So that's just sort of a trend play with Elijah Royo.
[52:52] Speaker 2: I need to look in the Scott fish Ball I'm
[52:54] Speaker 2: in to see if Bond is still there because he
[52:58] Speaker 2: is the lead punt returner and kickoff returner.
[53:03] Speaker 3: But this is different Scott. It's different for Scott Fishball
[53:06] Speaker 3: this year.
[53:07] Speaker 2: I thought kick return yards were a thing those last year.
[53:10] Speaker 2: I though was this year as well. Maybe maybe it's not.
[53:12] Speaker 3: By the way I might I might win Scott fish Ball.
[53:16] Speaker 2: Good for you, because I I am not winning it.
[53:19] Speaker 3: I have I have Puka and CMC on my.
[53:23] Speaker 2: I've got Pooka as well, and I've also got no,
[53:28] Speaker 2: I don't have Pooka. I have egg Buca, sorry, not Puka,
[53:31] Speaker 2: egg Buca. Kyn Williams, Davante Adams, and Stefan Diggs, who
[53:39] Speaker 2: is kind of like the flavor of the week for
[53:41] Speaker 2: for late Round this week.
[53:43] Speaker 3: I mean look perspectives.
[53:44] Speaker 1: James co said that Digs was going to be the
[53:46] Speaker 1: wide receiver one this week. Can I just can I
[53:48] Speaker 1: just share with you guys my Scott Fishball team so
[53:51] Speaker 1: that you guys can.
[53:52] Speaker 3: See how.
[53:54] Speaker 1: How real I am about winning this, Like I'm I
[53:57] Speaker 1: could win Scott fish boll.
[53:58] Speaker 2: For those that don't know. Also, this is how JJ
[54:01] Speaker 2: and I's meetings go too. Like we we talk probably
[54:05] Speaker 2: during the season, like twenty percent business. Eighty percent is
[54:10] Speaker 2: just us showing each other our fantasy team. Rosterbating is
[54:14] Speaker 2: just what Yeah, that's what I'd say, all right, yeah,
[54:17] Speaker 2: so what's your team?
[54:18] Speaker 3: All right, here's the team. You're ready.
[54:19] Speaker 1: You're ready, Pokinakua and so so Scott fish Ball. You
[54:23] Speaker 1: have what ten flex spots and then like two super
[54:25] Speaker 1: flex spots and it's weird scoring. It's like points for
[54:28] Speaker 1: first down and some carries and stuff like that. But regardless, Pookinakua,
[54:32] Speaker 1: Christian McCaffrey, Woody Marks, Breise Hall, Stefan Diggs, I have
[54:35] Speaker 1: Mike Evans on the bench, Jalen Wattle, Cam Skataboo, Darren Waller,
[54:39] Speaker 1: Amarion Hampton, Trevor Lawrence.
[54:41] Speaker 3: And Justin Fields. Gosh, that team and I have I have.
[54:44] Speaker 1: I have Jacorey Krossky Merritt on the bench, Hibershard Smith
[54:47] Speaker 1: on the bench, I have Mike Evans on the bench,
[54:50] Speaker 1: Juwan Jennings on the bench, and I Breton Strange on
[54:52] Speaker 1: the bench. I I'm I'm gonna do it this year.
[54:55] Speaker 1: I'm gonna take down the eight thousand team tournament and
[54:58] Speaker 1: I'm calling my shot here in week five.
[55:00] Speaker 2: There you go, what could go wrong? I've got Russell
[55:03] Speaker 2: Wilson on the bench, Najee Harris on the bench, George
[55:07] Speaker 2: Kittle on the bench.
[55:09] Speaker 3: I mean, Kittle's good. Why why you wouldn't kiddle with
[55:11] Speaker 3: Nause and Russ.
[55:13] Speaker 2: Because they're they're not gonna be playing. I mean, Kittle
[55:15] Speaker 2: will come back with Terry McLaurin on the bench. I mean,
[55:18] Speaker 2: it's just That's what I'm saying. It's not good because
[55:21] Speaker 2: those guys aren't playing.
[55:22] Speaker 1: But every every week when I look at the projection
[55:25] Speaker 1: on on sleeper, yeah, I'm projected to score like fifty
[55:29] Speaker 1: more points than any other team.
[55:30] Speaker 3: In the league.
[55:31] Speaker 2: My gosh, like legitimately, might we just lost half our viewers.
[55:36] Speaker 2: But it's great that because it's it's it's like, what's
[55:40] Speaker 2: your projected totally? Two fifty?
[55:43] Speaker 3: No, no, three seventy? Oh my gosh.
[55:46] Speaker 1: Right now, dude, right now, my projected total for this
[55:49] Speaker 1: week is three hundred and sixty six points.
[55:54] Speaker 2: Right now, those are the always leagues you just checked
[55:57] Speaker 2: just to make just to feel good about.
[55:59] Speaker 1: Your Yeah, if I'm losing other leagues, I'm just gonna
[56:01] Speaker 1: go straight to my SFB team.
[56:03] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, my league. My I'm projected for two
[56:07] Speaker 2: hundred and eighty five points this week, right to score
[56:10] Speaker 2: one hundred more points.
[56:12] Speaker 3: I already got one hundred points from PUKA and CMC.
[56:15] Speaker 2: All right, speaking of guys, are teams that projected to
[56:18] Speaker 2: score one hundred and more points. Vegas plays Tennessee next week.
[56:22] Speaker 3: Yeah, so Vegas, you're look ahead, look ahead defense because
[56:25] Speaker 3: they get Tennessee.
[56:26] Speaker 2: Okay, all right, let's get on to the id of
[56:31] Speaker 2: sound effect. Sorry, let's get on to the quad box
[56:36] Speaker 2: for this week as we wrap up this show. Last
[56:41] Speaker 2: week was a pretty good quad box. This week we're
[56:43] Speaker 2: looking to go even better. So I'll take again some
[56:48] Speaker 2: suggestions from the chat. First, Yeah, I'll take some suggestions
[56:53] Speaker 2: from the chat, and I will go I will go
[56:58] Speaker 2: with this Bill's Patriots.
[57:00] Speaker 3: Gonna go Bill's Patriots.
[57:01] Speaker 2: And why didn't you go first?
[57:02] Speaker 3: Because I was being friendly?
[57:04] Speaker 2: No, you wanted to see all that, you wanted to
[57:07] Speaker 2: kind of see all the games that were availed.
[57:09] Speaker 3: No, no, no, go Bill's Patriots. I have a better I
[57:11] Speaker 3: have a better one.
[57:13] Speaker 2: Okay, Bill's Patriots. Because we just talked about digs. You
[57:16] Speaker 2: got vrabel on Sunday Night football. You got the Bills
[57:19] Speaker 2: on the other side. You know, it's a kind of
[57:21] Speaker 2: a rivalry game like this. This will be a fun game.
[57:24] Speaker 2: So I'm gonna go Bill's Patriots from my from my.
[57:27] Speaker 1: I'm going I'm going the actual one O one o one,
[57:29] Speaker 1: which is Chargers Commanders. I'm actually surprised that Chargers Commanders
[57:34] Speaker 1: doesn't have a higher total than than the other two games,
[57:41] Speaker 1: just offensive line stuff.
[57:43] Speaker 3: You know what, as you do that, I'll do. I'll
[57:44] Speaker 3: do Chargers Commanders.
[57:48] Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, Bills versus Patriots. Okay, we have a charge
[58:00] Speaker 2: Commanders Chargers Commanders. That's kind of that seems like that's
[58:03] Speaker 2: what people want. Okay, let's expand this box so people
[58:06] Speaker 2: can see this all right. So we've got Chargers, Commanders, Bills, Patriots. Man,
[58:16] Speaker 2: I almost want to go, uh yeah, I'll do it.
[58:22] Speaker 2: I'll go Jags and Chiefs.
[58:24] Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you and the Chiefs.
[58:27] Speaker 2: You know, are you not excited about this game? You
[58:29] Speaker 2: gave credit you gave credit to to Patrick Mahomes this week.
[58:34] Speaker 1: Yeah, he's been great this year exactly. Yeah, no, no,
[58:37] Speaker 1: go ahead, Chiefs, Chiefs, Jacks.
[58:40] Speaker 2: That'll be a fun game though, Right, that's fine.
[58:42] Speaker 1: That's that's not nearly as egregious as Chiefs Giants.
[58:45] Speaker 2: I mean the other ones they're pretty There's there's one more.
[58:48] Speaker 1: There's two more that I like that that we could
[58:50] Speaker 1: have gone. I think, Okay, so you'll you'll go, You'll
[58:53] Speaker 1: go Jags, Chiefs. Yeah, I'm actually so. I think that
[58:57] Speaker 1: one of them we could have gone is buck Seahawks.
[59:02] Speaker 2: Yeah. I almost did that almost.
[59:04] Speaker 1: You know what I'm going to do instead go Dolphins, Panthers,
[59:07] Speaker 1: I'm going Cowboys Jets.
[59:09] Speaker 2: Yeah. That was that was another one.
[59:11] Speaker 3: Cow Boys Jets has the chance to a chance to
[59:14] Speaker 3: just be fun.
[59:16] Speaker 2: Any game that Cowboys are playing this year.
[59:18] Speaker 3: Has it, and then has a chance to the other
[59:20] Speaker 3: side where he just this crazy stuff all the time. Yeah,
[59:23] Speaker 3: give me that game.
[59:24] Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. JJ looks to the very bottom.
[59:28] Speaker 2: And I'm saying this for two reasons. The Vikings play
[59:31] Speaker 2: the Browns Sunday, nine thirty am on the NFL Network. First,
[59:38] Speaker 2: the Late Round made its appearance in the NFL Network
[59:41] Speaker 2: starting yesterday as our partnership as.
[59:45] Speaker 3: Bottom line folks, check that, check that ticker, that scroller.
[59:49] Speaker 2: So we're on there now. The other thing is, JJ,
[59:52] Speaker 2: I want just to alert you to the Browns playing
[59:57] Speaker 2: at home, their home with their home dogs this week.
[1:00:01] Speaker 2: Isn't that crazy?
[1:00:02] Speaker 3: Can I just make a statement.
[1:00:05] Speaker 1: I'm fully aware that on Tuesday's fifteen Transaction show, I
[1:00:09] Speaker 1: said the Browns were gonna be playing at home, And
[1:00:12] Speaker 1: so I went on Twitter yesterday and I made a statement.
[1:00:17] Speaker 1: I put a note on there from my phone. Should
[1:00:20] Speaker 1: I read it really quick? Said, people are aware.
[1:00:23] Speaker 2: It's a long note, but you can.
[1:00:26] Speaker 3: I'll read it. I'll read it, okay.
[1:00:27] Speaker 1: At the top it just says I'm sorry. That's the headline,
[1:00:31] Speaker 1: and I said, I learned it, and this is me
[1:00:33] Speaker 1: coming from my heart. I learned at a young age
[1:00:35] Speaker 1: that's always better to own your mistakes than to run
[1:00:37] Speaker 1: away from them. So here, I am owning a very
[1:00:39] Speaker 1: costly mistake. On Tuesday's fifteen Transactions episode, I did something
[1:00:44] Speaker 1: that I deeply regret. I mentioned that I liked the
[1:00:46] Speaker 1: Browns as a streaming defense, and when giving the logic
[1:00:48] Speaker 1: for the take, I said that Cleveland will be playing
[1:00:51] Speaker 1: at home. That was wrong, and I apologize. The targeted
[1:00:54] Speaker 1: harassment stemming from that mistake is understandable. How could a
[1:00:58] Speaker 1: fantasy football analyst who lives in his mom's be not
[1:01:00] Speaker 1: remember that the Browns are playing in London? Does he
[1:01:03] Speaker 1: even watch the games? What else does he need that
[1:01:06] Speaker 1: didn't come out very well? What else doesn't he know?
[1:01:09] Speaker 1: I know I'll have to work hard to gain back
[1:01:11] Speaker 1: your trust, but I'm willing to put in that work.
[1:01:14] Speaker 1: I promise this will only make me a better analyst. No,
[1:01:17] Speaker 1: it will make me a better man.
[1:01:20] Speaker 3: Yeah, with love, JJ.
[1:01:24] Speaker 2: People took this serious, JJ because you didn't use the
[1:01:26] Speaker 2: sarcasm font.
[1:01:28] Speaker 1: I cannot even believe how many people I've gotten emails
[1:01:33] Speaker 1: from people saying keep up, you know, keep your head up, but.
[1:01:35] Speaker 3: Keep up the great work.
[1:01:36] Speaker 1: And I appreciate all those emails, genuinely appreciate them, like
[1:01:40] Speaker 1: it's so kind that people do that kind of thing.
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: But I promise you guys, I'm I'm I'm making fun
[1:01:44] Speaker 1: of myself for missing and messing that up.
[1:01:47] Speaker 3: Because I messed that up.
[1:01:49] Speaker 1: I said they were playing at home, and I got
[1:01:51] Speaker 1: like twenty to thirty people hitting me up being like,
[1:01:53] Speaker 1: they're not playing at.
[1:01:54] Speaker 3: Home, buddy.
[1:01:55] Speaker 1: Someone called me pale in a comment saying, hey, pal,
[1:01:59] Speaker 1: they're playing in London, and so I just figured I'd
[1:02:01] Speaker 1: make fun of myself and and put that.
[1:02:03] Speaker 2: I saw Andy from the Baller saying that he quoted
[1:02:06] Speaker 2: it with I stand with JJ. Kyle wants to know
[1:02:12] Speaker 2: how how viral did it go? How how many how
[1:02:14] Speaker 2: many likes does it have?
[1:02:16] Speaker 1: It currently has thirty two hundred likes, and that's pretty good, Yeah,
[1:02:20] Speaker 1: yeah for something that niche.
[1:02:21] Speaker 3: Yeah.
[1:02:22] Speaker 1: The my favorite part is when they're because there's just
[1:02:26] Speaker 1: like mean people on Twitter and stuff like that's that's
[1:02:28] Speaker 1: their whole being on social media, just like just being
[1:02:31] Speaker 1: miserable as posting and just saying horrible things. And so
[1:02:35] Speaker 1: they're responding and they're making fun of me for being soft, yeah,
[1:02:39] Speaker 1: for sending that thinking that it's a serious note. And
[1:02:43] Speaker 1: it's just so funny that the trolls are that like,
[1:02:45] Speaker 1: it just goes to show that trolls are absolute morons.
[1:02:48] Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, agreed, agreed, all right, DS and p's for JJ.
[1:02:53] Speaker 2: That was what Sean said, Holy cal Kyle said, I
[1:02:58] Speaker 2: don't think he's talking about Ben and Jerry, but if so,
[1:03:00] Speaker 2: we need more cow bench and I think that will
[1:03:04] Speaker 2: do it for the show. So again, thank you for

[1:03:34] Speaker 2: Do you know That's like the one thing I never
[1:03:38] Speaker 2: put my foot down. I don't think you even think
[1:03:40] Speaker 2: we've talked about this. It's a fun time, I know,
[1:03:43] Speaker 2: but like we had just been to Disney. I never
[1:03:46] Speaker 2: tell my wife no, Like I'm pretty much like, yeah,
[1:03:48] Speaker 2: you want to do yeah you do? I we The
[1:03:50] Speaker 2: girl said, just we had just gone to Disney, and
[1:03:54] Speaker 2: so she was like, yeah, I think we're gonna go
[1:03:56] Speaker 2: to the Disney on Ice, like we went to for
[1:03:58] Speaker 2: fall break and then spring break or one of the two.
[1:04:01] Speaker 2: But you know, four or five months later, she want
[1:04:02] Speaker 2: to go Disney on Ice. We just spent an exorbitant
[1:04:06] Speaker 2: amount of money at Disney. So that was like the
[1:04:09] Speaker 2: is She always tells me, that's the one thing I've
[1:04:11] Speaker 2: put my foot down. And do you know what happened
[1:04:14] Speaker 2: last year? They went to Disney on.
[1:04:16] Speaker 3: Ice without you?

[1:04:27] Speaker 2: up a little bit. But anyways, if you go to
[1:04:30] Speaker 2: I still stand by this. If you go to Disney,
[1:04:33] Speaker 2: you don't need to go to Disney on Ice.
[1:04:35] Speaker 3: You you can.
[1:04:36] Speaker 2: Get that close together.
[1:04:38] Speaker 1: Sean says, they sell beer. Yes, they sell alcohol. I'm
[1:04:42] Speaker 1: not going to dress. It's like it's at like ten
[1:04:44] Speaker 1: thirty in the morning.

[1:04:51] Speaker 2: ever won specials before.
[1:04:52] Speaker 1: I've never had a sip of alcohol at Disney on Ice. Okay,
[1:04:55] Speaker 1: I'm just saying it's a good time. It's gonna be
[1:04:58] Speaker 1: great just jamming with the fan, you know, listening to
[1:05:01] Speaker 1: some tunes, some Disney tunes, and watching some ice skating.
[1:05:04] Speaker 2: It's great. Yeah. I think it's great too. Yeah, it's
[1:05:08] Speaker 2: for what the tickets costs. I was not thrilled that
[1:05:11] Speaker 2: that was like what they wanted to do when we
