[0:45] Speaker 4: guy who started the Late Round Media brand. JJ.
[0:51] Speaker 2: That's what we say.
[0:52] Speaker 1: I'm trying to pull up the tweet of the critique
[0:54] Speaker 1: that we got and I want to I'm pulling it
[0:56] Speaker 1: up because I want to uh yeah, here it is ready.
[1:00] Speaker 1: I want to address this straight on. I don't want
[1:04] Speaker 1: to hide from what people are saying out there. Right
[1:09] Speaker 1: says This is from at Legs Benny on Twitter.
[1:13] Speaker 2: Love the Late Round QB.
[1:15] Speaker 1: At Late Round QB podcast, thanks as I do in
[1:18] Speaker 1: the mallbeg episodes, but please stop dropping your titles in
[1:22] Speaker 1: the open. It's so cringe and navel gazing. I'm the
[1:25] Speaker 1: CEO and he's the CEO. Literally no one else does this,
[1:28] Speaker 1: and it's for a reason. We don't care that you
[1:31] Speaker 1: are a C suite in your three man company.
[1:33] Speaker 2: Loll love you guys.
[1:36] Speaker 1: All right, we're addressing this, guys, We're not we're not
[1:40] Speaker 1: being serious with that intro. Well, we know, we're fully
[1:44] Speaker 1: aware that we are a three person company, and we
[1:47] Speaker 1: are not saying this y a brag about being sea
[1:51] Speaker 1: level employees.
[1:52] Speaker 2: What kitchen is? Uh this three person company?
[1:56] Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm saying I. I mean, JJ, I'm dead serious.
[1:59] Speaker 4: I say, just in case my mom is tuning in
[2:01] Speaker 4: and he's like, that's my boy.
[2:04] Speaker 1: Uh So yeah, No, I just look, I know that
[2:08] Speaker 1: like when feedback comes in the way, my where my
[2:11] Speaker 1: brain goes is always like, oh my god. I hope
[2:13] Speaker 1: that no one else is thinking this, you know, And
[2:15] Speaker 1: so I'll try to quote tweet it and just like
[2:17] Speaker 1: address it just that people are on the same page
[2:20] Speaker 1: and know and similar to like any analysis that I do.
[2:23] Speaker 2: And with this, guys, please don't take it seriously. Please don't.
[2:28] Speaker 1: Now we're gonna have to lean into it more too,
[2:32] Speaker 1: but don't take it seriously. This is not a very
[2:34] Speaker 1: This is not a serious show. We're not doing anything
[2:37] Speaker 1: incredibly important. We're just talking ball. We're just talking fantasy football.
[2:40] Speaker 1: And this show in particular, is more casual than what
[2:42] Speaker 1: you're gonna get with the intense Late Round podcast at times.
[2:47] Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like when.
[2:48] Speaker 4: JJ does the mailbag episode, you know, and he does
[2:50] Speaker 4: the thanks for tuning in is a little different, you know.
[2:53] Speaker 3: Yeah, You've got to think sometimes things are just.
[2:55] Speaker 4: A tad bit, you know, just more casual, more relaxed.
[3:00] Speaker 4: So jaj I, I said, I would be your left
[3:04] Speaker 4: hand man or your right hand man. Godula and I
[3:06] Speaker 4: would have to fight over you know which which title,
[3:11] Speaker 4: But then people would think that you had issues with
[3:15] Speaker 4: your hands and you needed you needed help.
[3:17] Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean also, I'm just like I got
[3:21] Speaker 1: away from all of that just so you guys.
[3:23] Speaker 2: Know, you know, and and and uh, to be.
[3:25] Speaker 1: Transparent here, I I left all of that to start
[3:29] Speaker 1: this company because I cannot say, you know, my wife
[3:31] Speaker 1: still works in corporate and she doesn't you know, she
[3:34] Speaker 1: likes her job, and it's I it just turns me
[3:37] Speaker 1: off beyond belief, Like I do not want to care
[3:43] Speaker 1: or put any thoughts into titles. I cannot even explain
[3:48] Speaker 1: to you guys how just stupid all of that is
[3:51] Speaker 1: to me.
[3:53] Speaker 4: Yeah, I love the when you have a new title
[3:56] Speaker 4: and it's like you get a you get a promotion
[3:59] Speaker 4: in name only or in title only.
[4:01] Speaker 3: That was always my favorite. Yeah, I would pay you anymore.
[4:04] Speaker 1: But but now we're gonna call you something different and
[4:07] Speaker 1: it's gonna be really cool.
[4:09] Speaker 4: You know you're gonna update. We just reorged and you
[4:11] Speaker 4: get to update your LinkedIn congrats.
[4:14] Speaker 2: Well you're gonna have the same title here for a while.
[4:16] Speaker 2: So that's just the way.
[4:17] Speaker 4: Yeah, better than Tyler email Cowboys says he gets his
[4:22] Speaker 4: Analytics Senior Support title. He wants to know when he
[4:26] Speaker 4: gets that. Sorry, Tyler, it might be a while for that.
[4:31] Speaker 4: I will say we've had some reviews come in already
[4:34] Speaker 4: from the late round Prospect Guy, JJ, good stuff.
[4:38] Speaker 3: People are saying good things. You should feel.
[4:43] Speaker 4: Good about all the work you did, all those late
[4:45] Speaker 4: nights you did because people enjoy it and they have.
[4:50] Speaker 4: We have one hundred and seventy something pages of content
[4:54] Speaker 4: for this year's Prospect Guide.
[4:56] Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm proud of it. I think it's the best
[5:00] Speaker 1: one yet. The addition to Brandon doing all the tight
[5:03] Speaker 1: end write ups and us working on that model this offseason,
[5:07] Speaker 1: I think that's gonna.
[5:09] Speaker 2: Hopefully yield good results as well. But yeah, I mean
[5:12] Speaker 2: like it was.
[5:14] Speaker 1: It's always a fun project to put together and it's
[5:16] Speaker 1: always a really nice.
[5:18] Speaker 2: Thing to finish and feel good about afterwards.
[5:22] Speaker 4: Yeah, one O six streets says, I'm not a rankings guy,
[5:27] Speaker 4: but I love the green page with the different tiers
[5:29] Speaker 4: qualitative tiers. I don't know if the last tiers were
[5:34] Speaker 4: supposed to be if it was misspelled on purpose, but
[5:38] Speaker 4: I will say that the green page was last year,
[5:42] Speaker 4: was additioned from last year. And the green page also
[5:45] Speaker 4: has links that you can go straight to that Prospects profile.
[5:49] Speaker 3: Love it, so the page is a good page.
[5:51] Speaker 4: Also, as a reminder, you can subscribe to our Patreon
[5:57] Speaker 4: and join in on the You know, we have Dynasty

[6:04] Speaker 4: and and talking ball. We have the n C Double
[6:10] Speaker 4: A brackets.
[6:13] Speaker 2: Who's in second in the oh?
[6:15] Speaker 4: No, I was in first after after that first round.
[6:20] Speaker 4: That's that's all.
[6:21] Speaker 2: I We might all matters as we know. As we know,
[6:25] Speaker 2: polls are one.
[6:27] Speaker 1: You know you have a great breath, and by how
[6:31] Speaker 1: well they do after day one of the NCAA tournament,
[6:33] Speaker 1: for sure.
[6:34] Speaker 4: You gotta you got a victory lap. Why you can
[6:37] Speaker 4: victory lap so yeah, things things are getting interesting in
[6:42] Speaker 4: the March Madness Late Rounders bracket and h we're just
[6:46] Speaker 4: having a good time.
[6:47] Speaker 3: In the discord JJ, this is like, this is the
[6:50] Speaker 3: column before the storm.
[6:51] Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of Pocopia going on in the Zacharyason household.
[6:56] Speaker 4: Also sign up for their Late Round newsletter if you
[6:59] Speaker 4: haven't already, because speaking of is it Pocopia or Pokemopia?
[7:05] Speaker 2: Okay, but what do you put pocopia? Catch and get
[7:08] Speaker 2: it right? Okay?
[7:08] Speaker 4: Okay, I didn't know pokemo Mopia. I didn't know, Like,
[7:12] Speaker 4: is pocopia.
[7:12] Speaker 1: And it's and it's honestly, guys, I'm saying it as
[7:16] Speaker 1: a grown man with children and in a company. Pocopia
[7:20] Speaker 1: is a ten out of ten game. It is un
[7:23] Speaker 1: believable and anyone can play. Your kid can play, My
[7:26] Speaker 1: kids play with me. It's a perfect bonding experience.
[7:29] Speaker 2: It's perfect. It's a great game.
[7:32] Speaker 4: When I read the intro this morning to the the newsletter,
[7:36] Speaker 4: I thought, I wonder what other people are thinking, because
[7:40] Speaker 4: I know, JJ, Yeah.
[7:41] Speaker 2: I know, I oh yeah, other people.
[7:43] Speaker 1: That's why I like to just throw stuff out there,
[7:46] Speaker 1: like I am going to unapologetically be like who I am.
[7:50] Speaker 2: I don't care. I don't care if people.
[7:53] Speaker 1: Judge me for liking a Pokemon game. I haven't played
[7:56] Speaker 1: Pokemon since I was little. But if you're gonna judge
[7:59] Speaker 1: me for playing this, go look at any review of
[8:01] Speaker 1: this game, and it's getting unbelievable reviews because it's.
[8:04] Speaker 2: An unbelievable game. Okay, I don't care. I'll go. You
[8:09] Speaker 2: know what else I'm doing. I've been doing a lot recently.
[8:11] Speaker 1: Yeah, that that that people can judge all day while
[8:14] Speaker 1: while my daughter and son go for bike rides, I
[8:17] Speaker 1: rollerblade with them.
[8:19] Speaker 2: Really, I rollerblade with them. Yeah, that was a fair reaction.
[8:23] Speaker 1: At first it was like, I'm gonna make fun of you,
[8:25] Speaker 1: and then it was, oh, that's cute.
[8:27] Speaker 3: Yes, it's like I do you do you wear a helmet?
[8:31] Speaker 2: No, knee pads? No?
[8:35] Speaker 1: But my no, like the like literally, two weekends ago,
[8:37] Speaker 1: my daughter, who's seven, uh we she's in second grade.
[8:41] Speaker 2: We we we went five miles. I was rollerblading.
[8:44] Speaker 1: I went I wrote a rollerblade for five miles while
[8:47] Speaker 1: she was on the bike.
[8:47] Speaker 2: It was a great bonding time.
[8:49] Speaker 3: Bonding experience was five miles on rollerblades.
[8:53] Speaker 1: The real problem is I used to play this rollerblading
[8:55] Speaker 1: game on Sega back in the day, just to bring
[8:58] Speaker 1: it back to video games, and it was called skitching. Okay,
[9:01] Speaker 1: maybe one person in Chad has ever heard of this.
[9:04] Speaker 1: Skitching is when you're a rollerblader. I learned it's more
[9:07] Speaker 1: than rollerblading. You can be a skateboarder or whatever the
[9:09] Speaker 1: case may be.
[9:10] Speaker 2: And you you you.
[9:11] Speaker 1: Grab onto a car and you while you're on that device,
[9:15] Speaker 1: and you're able to hitch a ride, you know, from
[9:18] Speaker 1: that car. And so the video game was just all
[9:20] Speaker 1: about grabbing onto cars and punching enemies while you were rollerblading.
[9:24] Speaker 2: But it was like Sega, so it was you know,
[9:25] Speaker 2: two D and it was you know yeah.
[9:28] Speaker 1: So the problem is that every time I get on
[9:29] Speaker 1: my rollerblades, I just want to go skitching and then
[9:32] Speaker 1: start riding around the neighborhood.
[9:35] Speaker 4: They used to call me a snitching kitchen back in
[9:37] Speaker 4: the day.
[9:38] Speaker 1: No, that's not surprising. All right, let's get into these
[9:41] Speaker 1: news items. This is Look, it's the off season. I
[9:43] Speaker 1: know we're talking about nothing right now, but let's talk
[9:45] Speaker 1: some news.
[9:47] Speaker 4: Today's fantasy news. Wait till you see the news items.
[9:55] Speaker 1: Let's talk about more important things like Elijah Moore going.
[9:57] Speaker 4: To the Eagles, So we don't know what's happening with
[10:01] Speaker 4: aj Brown right now.
[10:03] Speaker 3: You know, apparently he's still staying with the Eagles.
[10:05] Speaker 4: However, the Eagles just decided to make all these moves
[10:09] Speaker 4: this week when no one else was making moves. So
[10:12] Speaker 4: last week we had a ton to talk about. This
[10:14] Speaker 4: week not so much. Here's what we do have. Elijah
[10:19] Speaker 4: Moore signed a one year deal with the Eagles, Damian
[10:23] Speaker 4: Pierce signed a deal with the Eagles, and Andy Dalton
[10:27] Speaker 4: I think he was traded to the Eagles. So those
[10:32] Speaker 4: are all the Eagles stuff. Other than that, it's like
[10:35] Speaker 4: Zach Wilson, like back up Joe Flacco resigning.
[10:38] Speaker 1: There is I mean, you didn't throw the most important
[10:41] Speaker 1: news I'm here on here and that's Pokin Nakua biting somebody.
[10:44] Speaker 2: Evidently.
[10:45] Speaker 3: I didn't know if we wanted to put that up.
[10:46] Speaker 2: Yeah, I know we shouldn't.
[10:47] Speaker 1: I mean, let's just I'm gonna leave it at like
[10:50] Speaker 1: it's one of those offs off the field sit like
[10:53] Speaker 1: personas now not just situation to monitor because he's been
[10:57] Speaker 1: involved in a lot of different stuff and that is pertinent,
[11:00] Speaker 1: Like it is something that we have to worry about
[11:02] Speaker 1: in dynasty, you know, just like what I actually.
[11:05] Speaker 4: Thought about that as a pukin Akua owner, like it, like,
[11:08] Speaker 4: is the asset becoming too like volatile? I don't like.
[11:12] Speaker 1: I mean, like, and there's a lot of rumors about
[11:15] Speaker 1: them wanting to trade for a J. Brown, And I've
[11:16] Speaker 1: seen some reporters even hint that like maybe there's a
[11:19] Speaker 1: tie to this.
[11:20] Speaker 2: I don't think there is.
[11:21] Speaker 1: Like my personal opinion is, you know, hopefully he's not
[11:24] Speaker 1: doing anything like egregious, like hopefully this is like not
[11:28] Speaker 1: real or or you know, whatever the case may be.
[11:31] Speaker 1: I don't want to say something that I don't know
[11:33] Speaker 1: the the information enough about, but hopefully this is like
[11:37] Speaker 1: the extent of where things go with Pukakua. But yeah,
[11:41] Speaker 1: I mean like they they've been they've been linked to
[11:43] Speaker 1: a lot of wide They need a young wide receiver
[11:45] Speaker 1: on that team because they don't really have that much
[11:48] Speaker 1: depth outside of Puka and so like long term depth.
[11:52] Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean I thought he might be on this,
[11:55] Speaker 1: but I understand the decision to not throw Pokin on this.
[11:58] Speaker 4: Yeah we're talking about I also left off Jsn's extension,
[12:03] Speaker 4: Like I don't think we want to get into like extensions.
[12:05] Speaker 1: No, and it's like what else they gonna do? Yeah,
[12:07] Speaker 1: let's just talk the Eagles. The The only interesting part
[12:11] Speaker 1: of this because I don't even know if Damian Pierce
[12:12] Speaker 1: is going to make the team, right, because they have
[12:14] Speaker 1: they have Shipley, and they have Tank Bigsby. But the
[12:18] Speaker 1: one interesting piece is is Elijah Moore. And I only
[12:21] Speaker 1: say that because he's very good friends with A. J.
[12:24] Speaker 3: Brown.
[12:25] Speaker 1: Uh, you know, they're the there go back, it goes
[12:28] Speaker 1: back to college days. Yeah, yeah, when they had that
[12:31] Speaker 1: crazy you know, like the DK Metcalf there too, and
[12:35] Speaker 1: they're I'm pretty sure I don't want to misspeak, but
[12:37] Speaker 1: I'm I'm fairly certain that Elijah Moore was very helpful
[12:41] Speaker 1: for A. J. Brown during a massive mental health crisis
[12:45] Speaker 1: for him. And I'm not saying that like I'm just
[12:48] Speaker 1: looking at this trying to connect the dots and saying,
[12:51] Speaker 1: you know, are the Eagles doing this out of like
[12:55] Speaker 1: trying to keep AJ Brown around by getting a good
[12:57] Speaker 1: friend there and to to or or are they doing
[13:00] Speaker 1: this because they actually want that depth because they did
[13:02] Speaker 1: get Hollywood Brown too, and so you know, I've always
[13:05] Speaker 1: been an Elijah Moore guy from the standpoint of like
[13:08] Speaker 1: I thought that he was a pretty good prospect. I
[13:09] Speaker 1: think in hindsight, I wouldn't have been as aggressive with
[13:13] Speaker 1: the way that I felt about Elijah Moore the way
[13:15] Speaker 1: that I prospect now and knowing what, like, you know,
[13:18] Speaker 1: some of the deeper details of slot rates and stuff
[13:20] Speaker 1: and how that correlates and the data that we've gotten
[13:23] Speaker 1: over the last handful of years to kind of be
[13:25] Speaker 1: able to dig into that more. With that being said,
[13:28] Speaker 1: I think that's what I'm reading into this more from
[13:30] Speaker 1: like a fantasy perspective, is like.
[13:32] Speaker 2: What if this is a move of some sort to
[13:35] Speaker 2: keep AJ Brown around?
[13:36] Speaker 1: I think we should at least consider that, you know,
[13:39] Speaker 1: because there are such strong rumors of AJ Brown no
[13:42] Speaker 1: longer being an Eagle.
[13:44] Speaker 4: Yeah. I in the last year's DraftKings best ball stuff,
[13:48] Speaker 4: I took a lot of Elijah Moore, like in the
[13:50] Speaker 4: twentieth rounds, remember the case, just in case he was Josh.
[13:53] Speaker 3: Allen's guy and he did get on the field, so
[13:56] Speaker 3: he just was not that valuable. Yeah, I mean did
[14:00] Speaker 3: he get cut like during the season is I.
[14:02] Speaker 1: Can't remember his whole situation, but his his uh early
[14:06] Speaker 1: career stuff, like his rookie season was phenomenal and he
[14:08] Speaker 1: was really good on the outside and it was like, Wow,
[14:10] Speaker 1: this is really going to translate for him, and then
[14:12] Speaker 1: it just didn't.
[14:14] Speaker 4: Meanwhile, we still have this list, like I put this
[14:17] Speaker 4: list up last week as far as fantasy relevant guys,
[14:20] Speaker 4: dads have unsigned, and literally none of them have signed
[14:25] Speaker 4: since last week.
[14:26] Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, like we said last week, you
[14:27] Speaker 1: get veterans, they usually just kind of wait and find
[14:31] Speaker 1: the right spot for themselves.
[14:33] Speaker 4: So it's interesting. You know, we have heard some rumors
[14:36] Speaker 4: as far as like David and Joku to the Titans,
[14:40] Speaker 4: Aaron Rodgers.
[14:43] Speaker 3: I think he's gonna resign, and then Kirk Cousins.
[14:46] Speaker 4: Someone said he might be a like a backup to
[14:47] Speaker 4: Jordan Love. I think that that was a a piece
[14:52] Speaker 4: from The Athletic that came out this week. So that's
[14:56] Speaker 4: uh that that's what we have for today's news JJ.
[15:00] Speaker 4: Are you happy?
[15:00] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's fun. You want to talk about Skitchen some.
[15:03] Speaker 4: More today's data that'll answer that we've got this draft
[15:11] Speaker 4: class versus the twenty eleven through twenty twenty five draft class.
[15:17] Speaker 1: Yeah, So what I did this is from the newsletter,
[15:19] Speaker 1: and actually there was a question that I started that
[15:21] Speaker 1: I wanted to get back to this from k crash
[15:23] Speaker 1: five on here on YouTube. K crash five said, this
[15:26] Speaker 1: year's rookie class people been saying it's a week class.
[15:30] Speaker 1: I'm concerned that with the new grading system and the prospect,
[15:33] Speaker 1: I might be double counting how bad this class is
[15:35] Speaker 1: punt completely. So that's why I put together this in
[15:39] Speaker 1: the newsletter today and I broke it down a little bit.
[15:41] Speaker 1: I'll basically just kind of regurgitate some of the stuff
[15:43] Speaker 1: that was in that newsletter because I think it's just
[15:46] Speaker 1: an important thing to talk about. But what this looks
[15:48] Speaker 1: at is each of the three positions that we have
[15:51] Speaker 1: this zapp model for so running back, wide receiver, and
[15:53] Speaker 1: tight end, and it looks at the average number of
[15:55] Speaker 1: players in each category, so legendary performer all the way
[16:00] Speaker 1: down to dart throw from twenty eleven to twenty twenty five,
[16:03] Speaker 1: and it compares that to the twenty twenty six draft class.
[16:06] Speaker 1: So let me give you an example. The legendary performer
[16:09] Speaker 1: running back has a point.
[16:11] Speaker 2: Four in that cell.
[16:13] Speaker 1: What that's saying is that we know that in this
[16:15] Speaker 1: class we have one legendary performer.
[16:17] Speaker 2: That's Jeremiah Love.
[16:18] Speaker 1: Right, So that's one, which means there's point six on
[16:21] Speaker 1: average per class. There's not many legendary performer running backs,
[16:25] Speaker 1: just because you know, I mean the category is just
[16:28] Speaker 1: to be clear, the categories are just a quick way
[16:30] Speaker 1: for me to speak about these guys and to give
[16:32] Speaker 1: context to what the ZAP scores are actually saying the
[16:36] Speaker 1: categories themselves. It's not like there's a giant like break
[16:40] Speaker 1: from a guy who is in the Legendary Performer category
[16:43] Speaker 1: at a score of ninety one to a guy in
[16:45] Speaker 1: the Elite Producer category with a score of eighty nine, right,
[16:48] Speaker 1: because because ninety is where that that transition occurs. It's
[16:51] Speaker 1: just a general way to bucket these guys, to allow you,
[16:54] Speaker 1: you know, people who are consuming this to kind of
[16:56] Speaker 1: see what that ZAP score means.
[16:59] Speaker 4: Now.
[16:59] Speaker 1: I have that mail bag answer from last week about
[17:02] Speaker 1: publishing scores and talking about the changing of the way
[17:05] Speaker 1: the system is generated and stuff, so this chart should
[17:08] Speaker 1: help with that a little bit to contextualize some of
[17:10] Speaker 1: this stuff. But also nothing, I just want to reiterate
[17:13] Speaker 1: nothing in this a model. Even though the scaling changed,
[17:16] Speaker 1: the way that I'm calculating things has not changed. So
[17:18] Speaker 1: the scaling change for all previous draft classes too, and
[17:22] Speaker 1: you can look at the categories from last year, for instance,
[17:24] Speaker 1: to get a general idea of where those because the
[17:26] Speaker 1: categories are generally generally still the same. You know, I'm
[17:31] Speaker 1: iterating the models every year anyway, so the scores aren't
[17:33] Speaker 1: going to be identical from one year to the next.
[17:35] Speaker 2: But what this is.
[17:38] Speaker 1: Showing is that running back has point four more legendary
[17:41] Speaker 1: performers than usual, it has one fewer elite producer than usual,
[17:47] Speaker 1: and then it has basically the same number of weekly starters.
[17:49] Speaker 1: But then every other category is lower flex play, benchwarmer, waiver,
[17:53] Speaker 1: wire at in dartthrow. Now, I do want to say
[17:56] Speaker 1: that this is going to be influenced by the number
[17:58] Speaker 1: of players that went to the combine. So only twenty
[18:01] Speaker 1: running backs and really nineteen because one was considered a fullback,
[18:05] Speaker 1: or twenty one running backs, one was a fullback. And
[18:07] Speaker 1: then there's Eli heyden Wright, who's basically a slot receiver
[18:10] Speaker 1: went to the combine, so that's a low number. Twenty
[18:13] Speaker 1: is a low number at that position. So naturally that's
[18:16] Speaker 1: why we see so many fewer dart throws because when
[18:19] Speaker 1: you add on if they were to have twenty seven guys,
[18:22] Speaker 1: and that dart through number would look the exact same
[18:23] Speaker 1: as other seasons.
[18:25] Speaker 2: But I will.
[18:26] Speaker 1: Say if you have fewer players going to the combine,
[18:29] Speaker 1: that's probably indicative of not a great class in general,
[18:31] Speaker 1: right And so that's why I think you can look
[18:33] Speaker 1: at this and say running back is probably weaker than usual.
[18:36] Speaker 1: Wide receiver, we don't have the same top end talent
[18:39] Speaker 1: as we typically do, but we have a lot of depth.
[18:42] Speaker 1: And I talk about that in the newsletter, where you know,
[18:45] Speaker 1: the wide receiver profiles this year are averaged to above average.
[18:50] Speaker 2: They're not elite by any means.
[18:52] Speaker 1: There's just so many of them, and I say so
[18:54] Speaker 1: many of them because they're being boosted by draft capital
[18:57] Speaker 1: right now, right now. According to NFL mock Draft database,
[18:59] Speaker 1: we have a eleven wide receivers going Day two essentially,
[19:03] Speaker 1: which is would be the highest that we've had since
[19:06] Speaker 1: twenty eleven, so like tied for the highest. So what
[19:09] Speaker 1: that tells you is that we're going to get a
[19:10] Speaker 1: lot of these weekly starter, flex play benchwarmer type players
[19:14] Speaker 1: you know in this class. So I think someone's going
[19:17] Speaker 1: to emerge from Day two that we might not expect
[19:20] Speaker 1: to emerge or someone's going to emerge who you know,
[19:24] Speaker 1: has like a not amazing product age adjustin production profile,
[19:28] Speaker 1: but it's probably gonna happen just by sheer number, right,
[19:30] Speaker 1: And we had a decent number of guys forty six
[19:33] Speaker 1: wide receivers at the combine and then tight end. We
[19:35] Speaker 1: had a ton of tight ends at the combine, as
[19:37] Speaker 1: we know, I think it was the highest number since
[19:38] Speaker 1: two thousand and four. And so across the board we
[19:41] Speaker 1: have more legendary performers. We have about the same number
[19:44] Speaker 1: of elite producers, and then more flex plays, bench warmers,
[19:47] Speaker 1: waiver wire adds.
[19:48] Speaker 2: Dart throws. Where we don't have is the weekly starter category.
[19:51] Speaker 1: So the way that Brandon and I have the model
[19:54] Speaker 1: set up right now is that you get legendary performer
[19:57] Speaker 1: in Kenyan Sidik spoiler alert. You know Eli Stowers if
[20:01] Speaker 1: his eight I mean, look, Eli Stowers is only worse
[20:04] Speaker 1: than Kenyon Sadik from a modeling perspective because of a
[20:08] Speaker 1: difference in draft capital. If the draft capital was not
[20:10] Speaker 1: like I think, Eli Stowers has a better production profile
[20:13] Speaker 1: than Kenyon Sadik.
[20:14] Speaker 3: He won the Mackie Award.
[20:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, so, and he's he's you know, as we know,
[20:18] Speaker 1: a pseudo friend of the show because he went to
[20:21] Speaker 1: Vandy and so.
[20:24] Speaker 2: He's an elite producer right now.
[20:25] Speaker 1: I don't think he's going to be a legendary performer
[20:27] Speaker 1: because I don't think we're going to see like top fifteen,
[20:29] Speaker 1: top twenty draft capital from him.
[20:31] Speaker 2: But he's a good prospect, like I talked about this.
[20:33] Speaker 1: In the Mailbag episode last week, and I do think
[20:35] Speaker 1: that there's a chance that he goes higher than what
[20:37] Speaker 1: was being projected when we launched the prospect Guide. But
[20:40] Speaker 1: tight end is again it's kind of like wide receiver
[20:42] Speaker 1: where there's just like a lot of dudes who I'm
[20:45] Speaker 1: not going to be surprised. They have decent athletic profiles
[20:49] Speaker 1: and average production profiles.
[20:51] Speaker 2: So we're probably going to see a hit or two
[20:52] Speaker 2: from that tight end class.
[20:54] Speaker 1: So when you look at this at a high level
[20:57] Speaker 1: bird's eye view, which is what this really is, it's
[21:00] Speaker 1: it's a below average class. You know, it's not it's
[21:03] Speaker 1: not a great class. I think the running back class
[21:05] Speaker 1: is pretty pretty brutal. The wide receiver one is at
[21:08] Speaker 1: least like relatively deep when you factor in draft capital
[21:12] Speaker 1: or projected draft capital.
[21:13] Speaker 2: If we don't get that draft Capital at wide.
[21:14] Speaker 1: Receiver, I'm gonna be concerned because the production profiles are
[21:17] Speaker 1: not overly strong. And the other thing, too, is that
[21:22] Speaker 1: a lot of the production profile, like the elite production profiles,
[21:25] Speaker 1: are from the players that are being boosted up in
[21:27] Speaker 1: the NFL draft from a projection standpoint, So Jordan Tyson,
[21:30] Speaker 1: Carnell Tate, McKay Lemon, you know you have Casey Conceptsion, Like,
[21:36] Speaker 1: those four have the four best production profiles in my opinion,
[21:38] Speaker 1: in this class. And so we're not necessarily gonna get
[21:44] Speaker 1: the incredible values in rookie drafts either were like, let's
[21:48] Speaker 1: say I really like Casey Conceptsion because the rest of
[21:51] Speaker 1: the class looks the way it is, and because draft
[21:53] Speaker 1: capital is probably gonna play out the way that it will,
[21:55] Speaker 1: chances are the only differences in rankings and ADP that
[21:58] Speaker 1: we're gonna see is like I'm gonna be like, I'm
[22:01] Speaker 1: almost definitely gonna have Conceptsion ahead of Denzel Boston, for instance,
[22:04] Speaker 1: and like, but but the the there might be some
[22:07] Speaker 1: people who don't. But those are just a small differences
[22:10] Speaker 1: that we're gonna see in rookie drafts. It's not gonna
[22:12] Speaker 1: be like conceptsion. I love him and he's great, and
[22:15] Speaker 1: he got third round draft capital, but we're gonna boost
[22:18] Speaker 1: him up because he's really good and we're gonna be able
[22:20] Speaker 1: to get him in the second round of it's not happening.
[22:21] Speaker 1: Like it's just there's not many players like that in
[22:24] Speaker 1: this class. So I think, like Elijah surrat could be
[22:27] Speaker 1: that guy, or could be one of those guys because
[22:30] Speaker 1: draft capital is currently putting in round three. But the
[22:33] Speaker 1: fantasy community loves Elijah Surratt because he has really good
[22:36] Speaker 1: age justin production and so yeah, I mean, I think
[22:39] Speaker 1: it's just a really it's an easy class to be
[22:42] Speaker 1: chalky at the top, and then it's just gonna be
[22:45] Speaker 1: a complete disaster after the mid to late first round
[22:49] Speaker 1: of rookie drafts, where you're gonna really have to factor
[22:52] Speaker 1: in I think a little bit more landing spot and
[22:54] Speaker 1: stuff than we typically do.
[22:56] Speaker 4: Do you think, just from a zoomed out point of view,
[22:58] Speaker 4: do you think that we've been I don't want to
[23:01] Speaker 4: say spoiled, but like last year we had the running
[23:03] Speaker 4: back class, the year before that, we had the wide
[23:07] Speaker 4: receiver class. Like going into the draft, there was so
[23:09] Speaker 4: much hype around these classes and this year there's just
[23:12] Speaker 4: really not that much.
[23:13] Speaker 2: Maybe a little bit.
[23:14] Speaker 1: But at the same time, I think that we often
[23:16] Speaker 1: overstated and understate what all of that means. You know,
[23:19] Speaker 1: even I got caught up in the hype a little
[23:20] Speaker 1: bit of the running back class last year. When I
[23:23] Speaker 1: look back at the model now and I'm like, yeah,
[23:25] Speaker 1: it was definitely good, but it was honestly like kind
[23:28] Speaker 1: of in line with like twenty twenty, you know, or
[23:30] Speaker 1: like twenty seventeen. Yes, for sure, like, but it's not
[23:35] Speaker 1: the differences from class to class I think are often
[23:38] Speaker 1: overstated because we are not nearly as good as we
[23:41] Speaker 1: think we are predicting this stuff.
[23:42] Speaker 2: And there are some draft classes.
[23:43] Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure it's a twenty nineteen wide receiver class
[23:46] Speaker 1: where we think it's horrible and it ends up being great,
[23:49] Speaker 1: you know, like like I think that's when Terry McLaurin
[23:52] Speaker 1: came out or something like around that time.
[23:53] Speaker 2: But regardless, it's.
[23:54] Speaker 1: Like, like we we shouldn't be so confident in our
[23:58] Speaker 1: ability to project this stuff. We should still project this
[24:01] Speaker 1: stuff and understand. But I think what's more important is,
[24:05] Speaker 1: instead of making the blanket statements, is really understanding where
[24:09] Speaker 1: the flatness starts to occur and ADP and the flattness
[24:12] Speaker 1: starts to occur in talent and such, because you know,
[24:15] Speaker 1: sometimes that flatness, you know, sometimes there's different tiers where
[24:19] Speaker 1: like the front half of the first round of a
[24:21] Speaker 1: rookie draft is elite elite to elite, and then the
[24:24] Speaker 1: next six guys are you know, just one tier below that,
[24:27] Speaker 1: and then the next six you know, into the second
[24:29] Speaker 1: round are tier below that. In this year's draft, I
[24:32] Speaker 1: think it's like you have elite elite, e leite elite,
[24:35] Speaker 1: and then that end of the first round and then
[24:37] Speaker 1: that first part of the second round are all kind
[24:39] Speaker 1: of the same at this point in time right now today,
[24:42] Speaker 1: whereas you generally do still still see like some sort
[24:45] Speaker 1: of drop off from that tier two to tier three,
[24:48] Speaker 1: right now, it's just merged.
[24:49] Speaker 2: And I think that's.
[24:50] Speaker 1: The game theory component that we should be taking away
[24:53] Speaker 1: here Instead of just blanketing and saying, hey, this draft
[24:56] Speaker 1: class sucks, I think it's more important to you know,
[24:59] Speaker 1: approach it.
[24:59] Speaker 2: With Okay, why does it suck? Like where where?
[25:02] Speaker 1: Like why are we saying this? Why is there this flatness?
[25:05] Speaker 1: Like what does it mean for my rookie picks? And
[25:07] Speaker 1: to me It means that late first round rookie picks
[25:10] Speaker 1: right now today are not that much different than mid
[25:13] Speaker 1: second round rookie picks.
[25:14] Speaker 2: And so if you can.
[25:16] Speaker 1: Kind of dangle that like one to eleven out there
[25:18] Speaker 1: to somebody and be like, hey, it's the first rounder,
[25:21] Speaker 1: the first Yeah right, I mean, if you can do
[25:24] Speaker 1: that today in a more casual dynasty league, I'm all
[25:26] Speaker 1: for that because I really don't think it's I don't
[25:29] Speaker 1: think you're gonna get a dramatically different player there than
[25:31] Speaker 1: you will at like the two oh five or two
[25:32] Speaker 1: of four in a super flex league.
[25:35] Speaker 4: We talked about Eli Stowers. I almost mentioned this in
[25:39] Speaker 4: the news segment, but he had a Top thirty visit
[25:41] Speaker 4: with the Broncos yesterday.
[25:43] Speaker 2: Hours with the Broncos would be fun.
[25:45] Speaker 4: Also met with him at the combine. Can you just
[25:48] Speaker 4: imagine soturs JJ in the joker role?
[25:51] Speaker 2: Here we go, Here we go.
[25:55] Speaker 4: That was an overblown narrative from last year.
[25:57] Speaker 2: It's always overblown narrative.
[25:58] Speaker 4: Yeah, little even anger I'm in the in the joker
[26:01] Speaker 4: role didn't pan out. But if Stowers goes in the
[26:04] Speaker 4: first round of the Broncos after they restructure Waddles contract
[26:08] Speaker 4: and that.
[26:08] Speaker 3: Offense would just would just be nice. All right, enough
[26:12] Speaker 3: of this.
[26:13] Speaker 4: The late round, main event. All right, these are your
[26:19] Speaker 4: favorite twenty twenty six draft comps for wide receiver. You
[26:24] Speaker 4: want you want to preface before you get into this.
[26:27] Speaker 2: Of course I want to preface. Yeah, this is just fun.
[26:31] Speaker 2: This is not how I feel.
[26:32] Speaker 1: But you know, I'll give you guys takes about how
[26:34] Speaker 1: I actually feel about each of these guys.
[26:36] Speaker 2: But this is not the way that the ZAP model projections.
[26:40] Speaker 2: It projects things.
[26:41] Speaker 1: You know, like we back in the day at number five,
[26:44] Speaker 1: for instance, Like part of our modeling that we did
[26:46] Speaker 1: was similarity score based and we would take you know,
[26:49] Speaker 1: similar games in the past, for instance, that projected a
[26:52] Speaker 1: certain way, and we would match that and that's how
[26:54] Speaker 1: we helped project how that particular game was going to go.
[26:57] Speaker 1: The way the ZA model works, project comps are just
[27:00] Speaker 1: for fun, that's it.
[27:01] Speaker 2: It's just to give you an idea.
[27:02] Speaker 1: And the way that I view comps honestly is like,
[27:04] Speaker 1: are there a lot of great comps.
[27:06] Speaker 2: For this player?
[27:07] Speaker 1: Then we should maybe feel subjectively a little bit better
[27:09] Speaker 1: about him, are there not? You know, I don't have
[27:11] Speaker 1: this player on today's list, But like Jeremy Bernard, who
[27:15] Speaker 1: has some red flags with his profile. Don't get me wrong,
[27:17] Speaker 1: Like he's the arts pro out run isn't very strong
[27:18] Speaker 1: and such, and he's not someone I'm higher low on necessarily,
[27:22] Speaker 1: But his comps whenever I would run it through the
[27:25] Speaker 1: model and the system were just it was just bad
[27:28] Speaker 1: comp after bad comp after bad comp. Like it was
[27:31] Speaker 1: just really not what you want to see from, you know,
[27:34] Speaker 1: a wide receiver who might go round two and then
[27:36] Speaker 1: at least gives me a little pause. You know, even
[27:38] Speaker 1: if the ZAP model is gonna say, oh, he has
[27:40] Speaker 1: a score of sixty or fifty eight or whatever it is,
[27:43] Speaker 1: which is along the same lines of this guy or
[27:45] Speaker 1: this guy, if that other guy has better comps, I'm
[27:47] Speaker 1: gonna go with the better the guy with better comps,
[27:49] Speaker 1: of all things being equal. So just just understand that
[27:53] Speaker 1: as I talk through things. So I think I have
[27:54] Speaker 1: seven wide receivers to talk about today. These are some
[27:57] Speaker 1: of my favorite comps from the class, both good and bad.
[28:00] Speaker 1: Denzel Boston, who's getting a lot of first round love.
[28:02] Speaker 1: Some people have him as like like they think he's
[28:05] Speaker 1: like part of the Big three. Others think that he's terrible,
[28:08] Speaker 1: that he has separation issues. I've seen people throw Keyon
[28:11] Speaker 1: Coleman out there as like this is a next the
[28:13] Speaker 1: next key On Coleman. I don't think he's a key
[28:14] Speaker 1: On Coleman type player at all, really, But if you
[28:18] Speaker 1: look at him to Jaden Higgins in the model, just
[28:22] Speaker 1: analytically all this is going to be analytical, there's a
[28:25] Speaker 1: lot of similarities coming out with the exact same age
[28:28] Speaker 1: or as the exact same age. They're both the same height,
[28:31] Speaker 1: almost the exact same weight. Their breakout scores are both
[28:34] Speaker 1: sixtieth and seventyeighth percentile career yards per out run. This
[28:38] Speaker 1: is not part of the model yards per out run,
[28:40] Speaker 1: but Boston was at two point oh two, which is
[28:42] Speaker 1: a red flag. Jaden Higgins at two point two four
[28:46] Speaker 1: first downs per route run. Boston actually had a pretty
[28:48] Speaker 1: good first downs per out run rate, which is nice
[28:50] Speaker 1: eleven point four percent, but Jaden Higgins at ten point
[28:52] Speaker 1: eight percent. They both didn't play in the slot very
[28:54] Speaker 1: much fifteen percent to seventeen percent.
[28:57] Speaker 2: So there's a lot of similarities. And I think that, like.
[28:59] Speaker 1: If you want to think about like people just get
[29:02] Speaker 1: so crazy with comps and they're like, oh, he's Mike
[29:05] Speaker 1: Evans or he's It's like.
[29:06] Speaker 2: Calm down, Calm down.
[29:09] Speaker 1: Mike Evans is a Hall of Fame talent who like
[29:13] Speaker 1: has has done things that other wide receivers have not
[29:16] Speaker 1: done in this league. You can't just make that a
[29:18] Speaker 1: comp like, let's look at a reasonable outcome here. I
[29:21] Speaker 1: think a reasonable outcome is Jaden Higgins. You know, Boston
[29:25] Speaker 1: did get a later start production wise because of the
[29:28] Speaker 1: teammate competition at Washington. But in my opinion, when you
[29:32] Speaker 1: look at Denzel Boston, I think he's more of a
[29:36] Speaker 1: second round profile analytical profile.
[29:38] Speaker 2: Than a first round analytical profile.
[29:41] Speaker 1: You know, I don't want to say I'm like fading
[29:42] Speaker 1: him no matter what, but I don't think that he's
[29:44] Speaker 1: like an elite elite talent.
[29:46] Speaker 4: Okay, the next one is a guy that I don't
[29:51] Speaker 4: know if this is a great comp for zach ry Branch.
[29:55] Speaker 4: But you got Nicole Hardiman.
[29:57] Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean great comp in terms of like him
[30:00] Speaker 1: being productive in the NFL. No, it's not a great
[30:02] Speaker 1: comp for him to be productive from a fantasy perspective. Look,
[30:04] Speaker 1: I have my issues with Zach Branch. I've been talking
[30:06] Speaker 1: about it for a while. I actually did a little
[30:09] Speaker 1: Vibe Vibe code Ye work with Claude yesterday to get
[30:15] Speaker 1: some of the the Zap model stuff into something that
[30:20] Speaker 1: could easily search. So I'm actually looking at it right
[30:22] Speaker 1: now on the left side here. But his career behind
[30:24] Speaker 1: the line of scrimmage rate forty five point five percent.
[30:28] Speaker 1: That's a ninety nine percent TILE. It's across his career,
[30:30] Speaker 1: that's a ninety nine percentile number. Screen yard share, so
[30:33] Speaker 1: how many yards were coming on screens thirty six percent,
[30:36] Speaker 1: that's a ninety nine percentile number.
[30:38] Speaker 2: That's the kind of profile we're looking at.
[30:40] Speaker 1: Was Zach Branch where he's gadgety, you know, was used
[30:43] Speaker 1: in a non traditional way a wide receiver, And yeah,
[30:46] Speaker 1: that sounds a little bit like Mikol Hardman, does it not.
[30:48] Speaker 1: They're both early declares five foot nine versus five foot ten.
[30:52] Speaker 1: Hardman had about ten pounds on him, so he's a
[30:53] Speaker 1: little bit bigger. Breakout scores were both not great, you know,
[30:57] Speaker 1: sub fiftieth percentile thirty fourth to forty third percent TILE.
[31:00] Speaker 1: Their best season in yards per team pass attempt when
[31:03] Speaker 1: adjusted for strength of schedule and age was two point
[31:08] Speaker 1: one one versus one point seven to one.
[31:10] Speaker 2: Hardman was worse.
[31:11] Speaker 1: Within that metric, both were heavily used out of the
[31:14] Speaker 1: slot and both were heavily used behind the line of scrimmage.
[31:17] Speaker 1: Now I know I mentioned Zach Branch was forty five
[31:19] Speaker 1: point five percent, Miko Hardman was about twenty seven percent
[31:22] Speaker 1: in terms of his usage behind the line of scrimmage
[31:24] Speaker 1: in college. But let me tell you, guys, forty five
[31:26] Speaker 1: point five percent, like I said, as a ninety nine
[31:28] Speaker 1: percent tile number, it's an outlier type number. So twenty
[31:31] Speaker 1: seven percent is actually a lot. It's just that there's
[31:33] Speaker 1: a big This is just such a big gap. But
[31:35] Speaker 1: the way that Branch was used in college himself, so
[31:38] Speaker 1: I don't think this is like a one to one
[31:40] Speaker 1: per se because, like I said, Branch's usage was so
[31:43] Speaker 1: extreme and Hardman also had that a better career yards
[31:48] Speaker 1: per out run rate. But I do think that this
[31:51] Speaker 1: comp which got spit out as the top comp for Branch,
[31:54] Speaker 1: tells the story of the kind of player that Branches.
[31:57] Speaker 1: I mean, is there a ceiling shore like is their
[31:59] Speaker 1: best ball all upside? Sure, but I do worry about
[32:01] Speaker 1: Branches of prospect.
[32:03] Speaker 4: Okay, that might not have been a fun profile for
[32:06] Speaker 4: fantasy enthusiast, but this one kind of is Omar Cooper
[32:11] Speaker 4: you got the comp to Deebo Samuel.
[32:13] Speaker 2: Yeah, a lot of people have made this comp too.
[32:16] Speaker 1: It was Rashi Rice was one that also popped up
[32:19] Speaker 1: in the model. But then in Omar Cooper's rite up,
[32:21] Speaker 1: I talked about Deebo Samuel, So I want to talk
[32:24] Speaker 1: about this one a little bit more so when you
[32:27] Speaker 1: look at their numbers, the biggest difference is that Deebo
[32:30] Speaker 1: Samuel is a thicker build, right, He's about fifteen pounds heavier.
[32:34] Speaker 1: And the way that these comps work I mentioned this
[32:36] Speaker 1: last week, is that it's looking at the distance between
[32:38] Speaker 1: all these different variables and it's saying, Okay, I'm going
[32:41] Speaker 1: to calculate this distance and weight, and then this distance
[32:44] Speaker 1: and this metric, and then it adds all that together
[32:46] Speaker 1: and says, what is the lowest distance? Right, And that's
[32:49] Speaker 1: the tightest comp if you will, And so I'll weigh
[32:52] Speaker 1: things like height and weight more. And despite that, Omar
[32:56] Speaker 1: Cooper versus Deebo Samuel was the second highest.
[32:59] Speaker 2: Comp for Omar Cooper. Deebo Samuel was and.
[33:02] Speaker 1: So and the reason for that is their breakout scores
[33:04] Speaker 1: are very similar. Fifty fourth to sixty fifth percentile. It's
[33:07] Speaker 1: forty two to forty seven ish. Breakout scores yards per
[33:11] Speaker 1: out run and their career point oh four apart from
[33:14] Speaker 1: one another. First downs per out run very similar. Their
[33:18] Speaker 1: best season in adjusted yards per team pass attempt almost identical.
[33:21] Speaker 2: And then the way they were deployed.
[33:23] Speaker 1: Now, Deebo saw a slot rate of only sixteen percent
[33:27] Speaker 1: in college, whereas Omar Cooper is at forty seven percent.
[33:30] Speaker 2: But when you look at the.
[33:31] Speaker 1: Depth in which they were seeing their targets, their deep
[33:34] Speaker 1: ball rate wasn't that far from one another.
[33:36] Speaker 2: Their shorter area targets were.
[33:38] Speaker 1: Very very similar. And then the big thing here too,
[33:41] Speaker 1: they're avoided tackles per catch. That's where obviously Deebo has
[33:45] Speaker 1: won in the NFL. He's a tackle breaker. That's what
[33:48] Speaker 1: Omar Cooper does as well. Omar Cooper at a point
[33:50] Speaker 1: three to one misstackles force per catch, which is crazy.
[33:54] Speaker 1: It's a great number. Deebo Samuels is also very high
[33:57] Speaker 1: in college. So I do think that's the kind of
[33:59] Speaker 1: player we're working with with with Omar Cooper, very interesting prospect.
[34:03] Speaker 1: He's getting round one love right now. He's not gonna
[34:06] Speaker 1: like I will not like Casey Conceptsione. Even though Conceptio
[34:09] Speaker 1: might go after Cooper in the draft, I still think
[34:11] Speaker 1: Conceptsion is a better player and better prospect, so I'll
[34:13] Speaker 1: have him ranked the head. But I think Cooper is
[34:16] Speaker 1: an okay player, like an okay prospect in this kind
[34:19] Speaker 1: of environment in class where there's a there's a non
[34:23] Speaker 1: zero chance that I would rank Cooper over Boston post draft,
[34:25] Speaker 1: depending on how draft capital falls.
[34:30] Speaker 4: Okay, I'm assuming this next comp JJ is just on
[34:34] Speaker 4: the field and not off the field.
[34:39] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I don't know anything about.
[34:41] Speaker 1: Malachi Fields off the field, so yeah, sure, well I
[34:44] Speaker 1: I and all I know about mc collins off the
[34:46] Speaker 1: field is that he likes to get to games in
[34:49] Speaker 1: a wild and crazy way, and he's you know, just
[34:52] Speaker 1: an interest foot.
[34:54] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[34:54] Speaker 3: Interesting, probably the most interesting person in the NFL.
[34:57] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[34:58] Speaker 1: But Malachi Fields, who I think has a pretty crummy
[35:02] Speaker 1: age adjusted production profile.
[35:04] Speaker 2: He comes to mac Hollins.
[35:05] Speaker 1: They were both pretty old coming out twenty three point
[35:08] Speaker 1: eight for for Malachi Fields, twenty three point six for maccollins.
[35:12] Speaker 1: Both pretty similar, size six five to eighteen for Fields,
[35:15] Speaker 1: six four to two twenty one for Hollins. Breakout scores
[35:19] Speaker 1: were both low not surprising for guys who stick who
[35:22] Speaker 1: were older coming out, and then their best adjusted yards
[35:25] Speaker 1: perteen pass atten numbers were were pretty on point with
[35:28] Speaker 1: one another as well. So those numbers like because adjusted
[35:32] Speaker 1: yards between pass ten feeds into breakout score, those numbers
[35:35] Speaker 1: are all all of those right there are in the
[35:38] Speaker 1: ZAP model to some degree, which is why maccollins was
[35:41] Speaker 1: a top com for Fields and Fields also, by the way,
[35:45] Speaker 1: I don't have mc collins yards perrowle run numbers because
[35:47] Speaker 1: it was a while ago and and data doesn't go
[35:49] Speaker 1: back that far. But Fields had a very poor yards
[35:53] Speaker 1: perou run profile. I actually said a tweet out today
[35:55] Speaker 1: about how Fields saw a spike where like his on
[36:00] Speaker 1: NFL mock draft database, he was going like forty third
[36:02] Speaker 1: overall at one point on the Consensus big boards, and
[36:05] Speaker 1: now he's down to sixty four. And so I said
[36:08] Speaker 1: that as if I said forty four, but I said
[36:10] Speaker 1: forty three.
[36:11] Speaker 2: Didn't I.
[36:12] Speaker 1: But now he's on the sixty four, So he's like
[36:13] Speaker 1: a fringe round two, round three player.
[36:16] Speaker 2: Even that to me is too high.
[36:18] Speaker 1: And what happened, I think was that he had a
[36:20] Speaker 1: good senior Bowl and people started to mock him higher,
[36:24] Speaker 1: but the analytical profile is not strong enough in my
[36:27] Speaker 1: opinion for Malechi Fields.
[36:30] Speaker 2: Could he be a third rounder or should he be
[36:32] Speaker 2: a third rounder?
[36:34] Speaker 1: I can see someone taking a chance on the size,
[36:36] Speaker 1: but to me, he's more of a Day three player.
[36:39] Speaker 2: Like, I'm just not going to be in on field.
[36:41] Speaker 1: If Fields gets round two capital and that correlates to
[36:45] Speaker 1: where his dynasty ADP will be, I'm gonna be out
[36:47] Speaker 1: because his his production profile is just not very strong.
[36:51] Speaker 4: Okay, I feel like this next Comfy did for me.
[36:55] Speaker 1: Maybe I did for all the all of the people
[36:58] Speaker 1: who were burned by just Hunter back in the day.
[37:02] Speaker 4: So there might be some some younger folks out there
[37:06] Speaker 4: that they don't really remember the Justin Hunter days or
[37:10] Speaker 4: Justin Hunter hype even a lot of like he had
[37:13] Speaker 4: so much potential. Man, were you a big Justin Hunter guy?
[37:17] Speaker 2: I think?
[37:18] Speaker 1: Because But the thing is back then, if you look
[37:21] Speaker 1: in like that twenty fifteen to twenty eighteen time frame,
[37:24] Speaker 1: twenty seventeen time frame, yeah, I wasn't prospecting really and
[37:28] Speaker 1: I didn't have Like the evolution for me with my
[37:31] Speaker 1: analysis has very much been grounded with how that player
[37:36] Speaker 1: was viewed coming out of college, you know, like especially
[37:40] Speaker 1: early on in their careers and stuff where I think
[37:42] Speaker 1: it's important where if a player shows us something after
[37:47] Speaker 1: being a good prospect, then he's probably a good player,
[37:50] Speaker 1: right Whereas you know, like Luther Burden, I'm so intrigued
[37:53] Speaker 1: by because I thought he was a really good prospect
[37:56] Speaker 1: and he had really good peripherals last year, and so
[37:59] Speaker 1: I'm like, oh man, this is exciting, right.
[38:01] Speaker 2: But it's when you get this combination of.
[38:03] Speaker 1: Like okay prospect or like decent enough prospect and then
[38:07] Speaker 1: they kind of fall flat on their face. Then you
[38:09] Speaker 1: kind of be like, I don't know if this guy's
[38:11] Speaker 1: going to be it or not right or you know,
[38:13] Speaker 1: there's just all these like different iterations you can look at.
[38:15] Speaker 2: So I don't know how I would have viewed Justin Hunter.
[38:17] Speaker 1: To be honest with you, I think back then I
[38:19] Speaker 1: was probably drafting him because like I fell more victim
[38:22] Speaker 1: to hype and to group think back then, you know,
[38:27] Speaker 1: just to be honest, but yeah, you know, if.
[38:30] Speaker 2: I look back now at what the model says about him, it's.
[38:32] Speaker 1: Not like he was like this phenomenal prospect necessary because
[38:34] Speaker 1: he was part of it was his athleticism. He was
[38:36] Speaker 1: a freak athlete, right, That's why that's why he looked
[38:39] Speaker 1: as good as he did to some people.
[38:40] Speaker 4: And six four, I mean, yeah, people love people love
[38:43] Speaker 4: six or four wide receivers.
[38:45] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[38:45] Speaker 1: And so Jacoby Lane is the Justin Hunter comp that
[38:49] Speaker 1: I'm making, or Justin Hunter's the comp for Jacoby Lane.
[38:51] Speaker 2: They're both early to clare receivers.
[38:53] Speaker 1: Both almost identically ages coming out, they're sub twenty two
[38:56] Speaker 1: years old, very similar frames six four two hundre in
[39:00] Speaker 1: one ninety six, so you get this like leaner perimeter
[39:04] Speaker 1: type frame. Their breakout scores almost identical thirty five for
[39:08] Speaker 1: both of them. Their best year in adjusted yards per
[39:11] Speaker 1: team pass attempt almost identical two point three five to
[39:13] Speaker 1: two point four nine. Laine also at a sub two
[39:17] Speaker 1: point zero yards pro out run rate. So it's not
[39:20] Speaker 1: great that's twenty six in the class. And the other
[39:23] Speaker 1: thing with Lane is it's good that he's in early declare.
[39:27] Speaker 1: You know, it's good that that he's younger, and that's
[39:29] Speaker 1: something that's factored in by the model. But we've seen
[39:32] Speaker 1: this kind of profile before, and the problem with it
[39:35] Speaker 1: is that the other two comps that spit out as
[39:38] Speaker 1: this top three that are in the prospect guide are
[39:42] Speaker 1: Terras Marshall.
[39:42] Speaker 2: And Ady Mitchell.
[39:43] Speaker 1: Now I fell victim to Terist Marshall because again that
[39:47] Speaker 1: was earlier in my prospecting career. In life, I wouldn't
[39:51] Speaker 1: have viewed him necessarily the same way. Now Ady Mitchell.
[39:54] Speaker 1: I corrected the mistake, and I was off of Ady Mitchell.
[39:57] Speaker 1: The model did not like Ady Mitchell, and so I'm
[40:01] Speaker 1: glad for that right that I'm learning. Okay, guys getting better, ye,
[40:05] Speaker 1: And I do think that Jacoby Lane kind of fits
[40:08] Speaker 1: the mold here.
[40:08] Speaker 2: I don't think though, that he's going.
[40:09] Speaker 1: To see the same draft capital as these guys, So
[40:12] Speaker 1: that could be, you know, if if Jacoby Lane's like
[40:15] Speaker 1: a late second round rookie pick or something, or like
[40:16] Speaker 1: third I don't I have no idea where his ADP
[40:18] Speaker 1: would be. I'm not going to really care if you
[40:20] Speaker 1: want to take a chance, because I don't think there's
[40:22] Speaker 1: gonna be a lot of studs or obvious players to
[40:24] Speaker 1: go to in that range anyway.
[40:25] Speaker 2: But I do think that there's a lot of red
[40:27] Speaker 2: flags to his profile.
[40:29] Speaker 4: All right, speaking of studs, we might have one in
[40:31] Speaker 4: the next one. So CARNL Tait, you've got his comp
[40:36] Speaker 4: as George Pickens.
[40:38] Speaker 2: Yes, yes.
[40:39] Speaker 3: Oh.
[40:40] Speaker 1: By the way, someone says this guy sounds like a
[40:41] Speaker 1: down spoiler in Indianapolis, so Josh Dollen spoiler. Jacoby Lane
[40:46] Speaker 1: is definitely a Chris Ballard type wide receiver for sure.
[40:50] Speaker 2: For sure.
[40:51] Speaker 1: Like I don't know if the athleticism is as elite,
[40:56] Speaker 1: you know, for Ballard to kind of go after, but
[40:58] Speaker 1: I do think that he could be sort of that
[40:59] Speaker 1: like perimeter guy that they're they're missing to a degree,
[41:02] Speaker 1: But you know, I don't know if if they'll go
[41:05] Speaker 1: that route. But the fact that Ady Mitchell was a
[41:06] Speaker 1: was a comp is kind of funny, all right. Carnel
[41:09] Speaker 1: Tate to George Pickens. This is one that other people
[41:12] Speaker 1: have made too, but breakout scores very similar. They're six
[41:15] Speaker 1: two and six. Career yards per out, run rates are
[41:19] Speaker 1: most identical. Tait, though, is the better prospect overall. I
[41:23] Speaker 1: think that needs to be stated. His best season in
[41:25] Speaker 1: the yards per team pass attempts is two point seventy three,
[41:28] Speaker 1: Pickens two point one zero, And when you adjust those
[41:30] Speaker 1: numbers they get even better for both players because of
[41:33] Speaker 1: the programs they played at and such. But I do
[41:35] Speaker 1: think Tate is the better prospect. Than George Pickens. And
[41:38] Speaker 1: the other thing that I did find interesting that is
[41:40] Speaker 1: not as comparable is that Tit's a dot was roughly
[41:44] Speaker 1: three yards lower than George.
[41:46] Speaker 2: Pickens a dot in college.
[41:48] Speaker 1: And I know that Tit is viewed as this deep
[41:50] Speaker 1: threat and such, and so I think that's at least
[41:53] Speaker 1: interesting when you're making that comp to George Pickens. If
[41:57] Speaker 1: you look at their deep ball target rate, Tate was
[42:00] Speaker 1: about eleven percentage points lower than George Pickens across their
[42:04] Speaker 1: collegiate careers. So, like, I think the comp makes sense stylistically,
[42:09] Speaker 1: analytically all of that, but I do think that there
[42:13] Speaker 1: are some differences here with with Tate the other the
[42:16] Speaker 1: other comp just so people were aware with Tate that
[42:18] Speaker 1: the higher end.
[42:19] Speaker 2: One was, uh was Calvin Ridley.
[42:21] Speaker 1: And then I think will Fuller was the third one,
[42:23] Speaker 1: which you know, will Fuller had his moments in the
[42:26] Speaker 1: in the league. It's just he he no one, no
[42:29] Speaker 1: one still knows where will Fuller is.
[42:32] Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't.
[42:32] Speaker 2: I have no idea what happened to will full He.
[42:35] Speaker 4: Kind of just fell off, yeah, yeah, the face of
[42:38] Speaker 4: the earth. Yeah yeah.
[42:39] Speaker 2: It was bizarre.
[42:40] Speaker 1: I remember like teams were like ready to sign him
[42:42] Speaker 1: seemingly and then he just never played again.
[42:45] Speaker 4: All Right, this next one kind of hurts a little
[42:48] Speaker 4: bit because or not not this next one. Sorry, Going
[42:52] Speaker 4: back to George Pickens, it kind of hurts a little
[42:55] Speaker 4: bit because as a Titans fan, he was in that
[42:58] Speaker 4: twenty twenty two NFL Draft and the Titans that's when
[43:03] Speaker 4: they notoriously like fell off the cliff traded AJ Brown
[43:07] Speaker 4: got Trailing Burke's and I'm screaming for George Pickens. But
[43:12] Speaker 4: people also like thought that his attitude was like the issue,
[43:16] Speaker 4: which I mean.
[43:18] Speaker 1: I mean, I I mean it's it kind of has
[43:20] Speaker 1: come to a head, like at least with Pittsburgh and stuff.
[43:23] Speaker 1: But I remember that draft thinking that it wasn't a
[43:26] Speaker 1: Chicago that was like a lock to get Pickens.
[43:28] Speaker 2: And then they didn't.
[43:29] Speaker 4: Yeah, is that what happened.
[43:31] Speaker 1: I'm looking at the draft right now to make sure that. Yeah,
[43:33] Speaker 1: the Bears got y Kyler Gordon in that draft and
[43:36] Speaker 1: then Pickens went.
[43:40] Speaker 4: Pickens went fifty second over.
[43:42] Speaker 2: Second to Pittsburgh.
[43:44] Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, like he slipped, and I think
[43:45] Speaker 1: the off the field stuff was definitely a problem. And
[43:47] Speaker 1: I also will go to the grave I talked about
[43:49] Speaker 1: this last year on Twitter and kind of got roasted
[43:51] Speaker 1: for it by by mostly Steeler fans. But like, George
[43:55] Speaker 1: Pickens is better than DK Metcalf. Yeah, and the Steelers
[43:59] Speaker 1: traded a second from Calf. They traded Pickens for a third,
[44:02] Speaker 1: and they paid DK Metcalf. And imagine if they were
[44:04] Speaker 1: to just get it to work with George Pickens, then
[44:07] Speaker 1: they'd be in a way better spot than they are
[44:09] Speaker 1: right now.
[44:11] Speaker 3: Yeah. George Pickens, followed immediately by Alec Pearce sky Moore
[44:15] Speaker 3: and then Trey McBride. Is interesting. Four picks in the draft.
[44:20] Speaker 4: All right, Next we've got Skyler Bell and the comp
[44:25] Speaker 4: is Ricky Pearsall who.
[44:27] Speaker 3: As we know, JJ got shot shot.
[44:33] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, as that was one of the first late
[44:35] Speaker 1: Round shows and it was one of my biggest regrets
[44:37] Speaker 1: that I've ever had on on YouTube. Uh speaking of
[44:39] Speaker 1: Brian Robinson signed with with Atlanta. Yeah yeah, who got
[44:43] Speaker 1: he got?
[44:44] Speaker 2: He got shot?
[44:45] Speaker 3: Yeah, he just got shot, not shot.
[44:47] Speaker 1: Uh. But yeah, So Skyler Bell had a pretty prolific,
[44:52] Speaker 1: like like end of his career from a production standpoint.
[44:56] Speaker 1: But a couple things about that number. One, when you
[44:59] Speaker 1: adjust from mark share, it still looks good. But doesn't
[45:01] Speaker 1: look as good.
[45:02] Speaker 2: Number two. You have to remember that he's older and
[45:05] Speaker 2: he's playing a not major major.
[45:08] Speaker 1: Program is at Yukon. But the Ricky Piersoll comp makes
[45:11] Speaker 1: sense to me. I mean, the the ages are pretty similar,
[45:14] Speaker 1: coming out almost identical, the height six foot six. The
[45:20] Speaker 1: breakout score is better for Pearsall. It's not great. I
[45:24] Speaker 1: mean it's thirty five. That's like a less than fiftieth
[45:26] Speaker 1: percentile breakout score. Skyler Bell it's twenty two because of
[45:30] Speaker 1: the adjustins made for the program that he was playing at.
[45:33] Speaker 1: They both had some rushing production, which gets signal within
[45:36] Speaker 1: the ZAP model, career arts per out run is pretty similar.
[45:39] Speaker 1: First downs per out run is pretty similar. It's just
[45:42] Speaker 1: so you got to remember to adjust things for Skyler
[45:44] Speaker 1: Bell based on where he played.
[45:46] Speaker 2: And the other thing too.
[45:46] Speaker 1: When you look at these comps like I I remember
[45:50] Speaker 1: when I was going through the prospecting process of that
[45:53] Speaker 1: draft class with Ricky Pearsall a couple of years ago.
[45:57] Speaker 1: I liked Pearsaw and then he got surprisingly high draft capital,
[46:02] Speaker 1: Like people were not ready for him to be a
[46:04] Speaker 1: first round, end of the first round kind of player.
[46:07] Speaker 1: It was like I was more in him when he
[46:09] Speaker 1: was like a late second early, you know, date like
[46:12] Speaker 1: somewhere in Day two kind of player. He was an
[46:14] Speaker 1: interesting name because he had this versatile profile, and then
[46:17] Speaker 1: he landed in a place in San Francisco that I thought,
[46:20] Speaker 1: and we still don't know, could could use sort of
[46:23] Speaker 1: that versatile skill set, you know, because Kyle Shanahan likes
[46:27] Speaker 1: to use wide receivers in those yak ways, and so
[46:31] Speaker 1: I thought, like the landing spot was good, all that
[46:33] Speaker 1: sort of thing. But Piersall's profile was not close to
[46:37] Speaker 1: like squeaky clean, like it was very much red flags
[46:40] Speaker 1: all over the place. Like I said, he's older, his
[46:42] Speaker 1: breakout score is not great, and actually in the model
[46:46] Speaker 1: right now, I think he has a high risk profile,
[46:48] Speaker 1: like it's it's.
[46:49] Speaker 2: Not the cleanest thing in the world.
[46:51] Speaker 1: And I don't think Skyler Bell has the cleanest profile
[46:54] Speaker 1: in the world either despite people really liking him or
[46:57] Speaker 1: you know, I don't mind him as like a Day
[46:59] Speaker 1: two guy. But again, and if the hype gets out
[47:00] Speaker 1: of control, then we got to bring it in a
[47:03] Speaker 1: little bit and just be grounded with with our takes
[47:05] Speaker 1: about these players.
[47:06] Speaker 2: So I do think the comp makes sense and what
[47:08] Speaker 2: he can bring to the table.
[47:09] Speaker 1: He's like an inside out player, can can line up everywhere,
[47:12] Speaker 1: you know, and had you know, a longer career because
[47:15] Speaker 1: he was you know, he's older coming out as well,
[47:18] Speaker 1: just like Pier saw and was versatile. But I don't
[47:21] Speaker 1: want this to be taken as like necessarily an awesome
[47:24] Speaker 1: thing because Ricky Piersall, in my opinion, wasn't a can't
[47:28] Speaker 1: miss type prospect, you know, in general.
[47:33] Speaker 4: Yeah, I enjoy on these comps seeing when the player
[47:39] Speaker 4: incoming players older than the.
[47:41] Speaker 3: Comp that has been in the league for a few years.
[47:45] Speaker 1: Yeah, well no, no, no, so that's that's the age when
[47:47] Speaker 1: they were coming out.
[47:48] Speaker 4: Oh okay, I thought that. I was like, Ricky pierceof
[47:50] Speaker 4: is only twenty four years old, Like yeah, no.
[47:52] Speaker 2: No, no, he's like he's already early. Yeah, he's already
[47:55] Speaker 2: like twenty six.
[47:55] Speaker 4: Okay, so this is when, all right, So that makes
[47:57] Speaker 4: sense because I looked at him like, I don't know
[48:01] Speaker 4: that Pearsaul.
[48:03] Speaker 1: Is that I didn't know the comp is the comp
[48:05] Speaker 1: is looking at age. I should have I should have
[48:08] Speaker 1: shouted that out. But the comp is looking at their
[48:09] Speaker 1: age coming out, Like Jayden Higgins was twenty two point
[48:12] Speaker 1: four coming out last year.
[48:14] Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I probably should have noticed on the Justin
[48:16] Speaker 4: Hunter comp to be honest, Yeah, that's true.
[48:19] Speaker 2: You should have picked that up.
[48:20] Speaker 4: Yeah, he's like forty. He's like, he's like unk status.
[48:23] Speaker 2: Justin Hunter is like doing real estate or something right now.
[48:26] Speaker 3: I don't know. He went to college at UT.
[48:30] Speaker 4: I think he was a Titan. Then he ended up
[48:32] Speaker 4: at the with the Steelers too.
[48:35] Speaker 1: Yeah, he might have towards the end. He's you know,
[48:37] Speaker 1: he's only thirty four right now.
[48:41] Speaker 4: It seemed like it seems like a long time ago,
[48:45] Speaker 4: like fifteen twenty sixteen, Like you said, that seems like
[48:48] Speaker 4: that's just such a.
[48:49] Speaker 2: He's a coach right now.
[48:50] Speaker 1: He's he's the offensive quality control coach for the University
[48:53] Speaker 1: of Memphis.
[48:54] Speaker 3: There you go, Yeah, what is.
[48:55] Speaker 4: The What does the quality control coach do? I've always
[48:59] Speaker 4: wondered this, Probably.
[49:01] Speaker 1: Just like make sure that they're like that, that the
[49:03] Speaker 1: offenses is quality and controlled.
[49:08] Speaker 4: That's as much of a clue as I do about
[49:11] Speaker 4: the quality. It just seems like we talked about the
[49:14] Speaker 4: name in title only.
[49:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean they're like, oh, we can get an
[49:18] Speaker 2: x nfler.
[49:18] Speaker 4: Yeah right, it's get a guy. It seems like you
[49:21] Speaker 4: know that it's like, at least with the video assistant,
[49:24] Speaker 4: you know, you know kind.
[49:25] Speaker 3: Of what they're doing. But the quality of control.
[49:27] Speaker 1: I'm sure, Look, I'm sure he's doing something to help
[49:30] Speaker 1: their like at least they're wide receivers.
[49:31] Speaker 4: And someone in the comments let us know what a
[49:35] Speaker 4: what quality control coach is and what the next step
[49:38] Speaker 4: step up is from a quality control coach. Please, all right,
[49:49] Speaker 4: let's wrap this up. I am a top of this
[49:53] Speaker 4: bracket and this picture JJ for the audio listeners that's after.
[49:58] Speaker 2: What is this?
[50:00] Speaker 4: Okay?
[50:00] Speaker 2: Just right now? Yeah, Oh, you're the top because you're
[50:03] Speaker 2: it's your entry.
[50:05] Speaker 4: It's my screenshot.
[50:06] Speaker 2: J Drews is number two.
[50:07] Speaker 1: Aaron Todd by the way, Aaron Thomas in the discord,
[50:11] Speaker 1: who is part of this. Yeah, as a like ninety
[50:15] Speaker 1: nine point fifth percentile bracket right now. Yeah, yeah, mine's
[50:18] Speaker 1: in the ninety eighth percentile, man, ninety eight point four.
[50:21] Speaker 4: Mine was doing so good until the Vandy upsets.
[50:24] Speaker 2: I had Vandy also in the Elite eight. Yeah, I
[50:27] Speaker 2: have my my big thing.
[50:29] Speaker 1: My big thing is that I have Tennessee in the
[50:30] Speaker 1: final four and if that hits, yeah, I'm in the money.
[50:36] Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm good.
[50:38] Speaker 4: There was I saw on Reddit there was a guy
[50:40] Speaker 4: that predicted like forty four or forty eight picks correctly.
[50:45] Speaker 3: In one of these big contests.
[50:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, then a method and then.
[50:49] Speaker 3: Didn't fill out the rest of the bracket.
[50:52] Speaker 4: Oh really, Yes, that's got a stake to get forty
[50:57] Speaker 4: four or forty eight and then not fill out the
[50:59] Speaker 4: rest of your bracket.
[51:00] Speaker 1: I do a better max score than you two, though
[51:02] Speaker 1: Brandon Brand's got ten points better max score. Brandon has
[51:05] Speaker 1: a better max than both of us.
[51:06] Speaker 4: Yeah, this is this is in the top I just
[51:09] Speaker 4: pulled the top ten in the screen show.
[51:11] Speaker 2: It is crazy and funny.
[51:12] Speaker 1: How like, obviously the demographic of us is not like
[51:16] Speaker 1: the people that are in the discord are not called
[51:18] Speaker 1: like necessarily college basketball fans.
[51:20] Speaker 2: But look how many like nine of the how many
[51:23] Speaker 2: are in there?
[51:23] Speaker 1: This like sixteen Because we did this very late in
[51:25] Speaker 1: the process, there's not like like eighteen I think. Yeah,
[51:28] Speaker 1: and half of them are in the ninetieth percent. Tyler
[51:31] Speaker 1: better right now. Yeah, that just goes to show we
[51:33] Speaker 1: got we got some sharp, chocky listeners and supporters.
[51:39] Speaker 4: Yeah, I thought there are most people. I think I
[51:43] Speaker 4: think like Duke was the most popular pick, and everyone's
[51:47] Speaker 4: going game theory. As you see, no one's picking Duke
[51:51] Speaker 4: like Duke in the late rounders. Discord was like the
[51:55] Speaker 4: because everyone's like, oh everyone's picking Duke, I need to
[51:57] Speaker 4: pick someone else.
[51:58] Speaker 2: Yeah, the first big duke's going.
[52:01] Speaker 4: Yeah.
[52:02] Speaker 1: I mean, but they've been they've been not looking great
[52:04] Speaker 1: so far to start the uh attorney, Hey, I mean
[52:07] Speaker 1: they so to be fair, I was at a dance
[52:10] Speaker 1: competition last weekend and I was keeping track of the
[52:12] Speaker 1: scores and I saw that TCU was like ahead by a.
[52:15] Speaker 2: Point or something in the second half.
[52:17] Speaker 1: Yeah, and then what did they go in like a
[52:18] Speaker 1: forty to three run or something that ridiculous? Yeah, crazy,
[52:22] Speaker 1: That's classic Jamie Dixon.
[52:24] Speaker 2: I know that as a as a pit alum.
[52:27] Speaker 3: So what happened in that game?
[52:29] Speaker 4: I know we've we've already talked about all the football stuff,
[52:31] Speaker 4: But what happened in that game is that they missed
[52:34] Speaker 4: a goaltending call. Uh so they lost by thirty because no,
[52:38] Speaker 4: it was like a four to six point game.
[52:40] Speaker 3: They missed the goaltending call. Dixon goes irate.
[52:44] Speaker 4: Yeah, the ref that missed the goaltending call, tease him up.
[52:49] Speaker 4: Oh and so at two points then they get two
[52:51] Speaker 4: points and they score three. Ever since that goaltending call,
[52:54] Speaker 4: they scored like they went on the that just insane.
[52:58] Speaker 1: Jamie Dixon could be a villain and in like about
[53:01] Speaker 1: like he looks like the Iceland coach from a Mighty
[53:04] Speaker 1: He has slick back hair and stuff and.
[53:06] Speaker 4: I could I could see it.
[53:08] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[53:09] Speaker 4: Speaking of movies, JJ, we watched The Goat last night
[53:11] Speaker 4: with Steph Curry. Yeah. The movie sports. Uh you know
[53:17] Speaker 4: movie with your kids that you can watch.
[53:19] Speaker 1: Yeah.
[53:19] Speaker 3: So yeah, that's all that's all I got JJ. As
[53:22] Speaker 3: far as sports.
