[0:00] Speaker 1: Now here's a highlight from Coast to Coast AM on iHeartRadio.
[0:04] Speaker 2: We were talking about the pull, this compulsion to create
[0:09] Speaker 2: these crop circles. But where does the design come from?
[0:13] Speaker 2: How do crop circle makers describe... I mentioned Paul McCartney
[0:18] Speaker 2: talking about sort of being an antenna. And he would
[0:22] Speaker 2: describe writing, for example, Hey Jude, or I think Yesterday
[0:26] Speaker 2: came to him sort of in a similar way, that
[0:29] Speaker 2: the song... wrote itself. But what do crop circles describe?
[0:34] Speaker 2: How do they describe this process?
[0:36] Speaker 3: I think this is the key to the whole thing.
[0:38] Speaker 3: I mean, certainly with Yesterday, it did come to him,
[0:42] Speaker 3: he had the tune came to him fully formed. And
[0:45] Speaker 3: he woke up, he says, how has that never, ever
[0:47] Speaker 3: been done before? It was, as you know, it's a
[0:49] Speaker 3: very complex, you know, pop song. And I think he
[0:53] Speaker 3: had no lyrics, so he just said scrambled eggs. So
[0:56] Speaker 3: scrambled eggs. Yeah. He did it again. And this is
[1:01] Speaker 3: important because we don't know where the inspiration comes from.
[1:05] Speaker 3: I'm not sure. And I say this in the book.
[1:08] Speaker 3: It's one of the things I didn't get to the
[1:10] Speaker 3: bottom of. I'm not sure if we are connecting with
[1:13] Speaker 3: our inner ego and our inner id and our inner untouched.
[1:18] Speaker 3: untapped potential or if there is something else at play
[1:22] Speaker 3: um in the people artists talk about their inspirations coming
[1:27] Speaker 3: to them as you said fully formed um but there's
[1:32] Speaker 3: also this element of i know crop circle maker who
[1:36] Speaker 3: had a design didn't like what he'd done but he'd
[1:39] Speaker 3: marshaled a team and they were supposed to go out
[1:41] Speaker 3: that night so he said right what i'll do he
[1:44] Speaker 3: panicked a bit he said what i can't do that
[1:46] Speaker 3: one so what i'll do is I will just draw
[1:50] Speaker 3: any old stuff until I think of something else. And
[1:54] Speaker 3: he wasn't, he was absent-minded about it. He wasn't thinking
[1:57] Speaker 3: about it. He said, I'll just put this down. His
[1:59] Speaker 3: mind was elsewhere. I'll just write this down, doodle away,
[2:02] Speaker 3: almost like automatic writing, if you like. And he looked
[2:05] Speaker 3: at what he'd done and he went, God, that's it. And,
[2:09] Speaker 3: but he was not thinking about it. And there's, it's
[2:12] Speaker 3: interesting that you mentioned Hey Jude, because when McCartney was
[2:16] Speaker 3: writing the lyric, he had, it was, crafted every word
[2:19] Speaker 3: was crafted he was spending a lot of time crafting
[2:22] Speaker 3: the song and there was I think in the middle
[2:24] Speaker 3: eight or there was a certain line where I thought
[2:26] Speaker 3: I don't know what to write there so I'll just
[2:28] Speaker 3: write I don't know um just rubbish I'll just write
[2:31] Speaker 3: I'll just write the movement you need is on your
[2:33] Speaker 3: shoulder that doesn't mean anything and he showed it to
[2:36] Speaker 3: Lennon and he said don't worry about that line I'm
[2:38] Speaker 3: pulling it out and Lennon goes That's the key to
[2:42] Speaker 3: the song. That's the most important part of the song.
[2:46] Speaker 3: So I'm not sure if we are tapping into something
[2:50] Speaker 3: external or if we're tapping into something which is within us,
[2:55] Speaker 3: as in all of us, like this information is there
[2:59] Speaker 3: like a Google cloud, so to speak, like the collective consciousness.
[3:03] Speaker 3: And we're just plucking ideas down from that.
[3:06] Speaker 2: Have you ever personally dreamed a formation before it appeared
[3:10] Speaker 2: in a field?
[3:12] Speaker 3: Kind of, I mean, more interesting than that, in a sense,
[3:15] Speaker 3: is that I was having these recurring dreams. Oh, God, yeah,
[3:20] Speaker 3: this is a really good one, actually. I was having
[3:23] Speaker 3: these recurring dreams of being in a microlight aircraft, which
[3:30] Speaker 3: harkens to the fact that I did use to charter
[3:32] Speaker 3: microlights to go and see the crop circles. So in
[3:35] Speaker 3: my dream, I chartered a microlight, I was out up
[3:38] Speaker 3: in the air, and then suddenly this microlight evaporated, and
[3:43] Speaker 3: then it was like an ubi. Then it was like
[3:47] Speaker 3: an out-of-body experience dream because it was just me, my soul,
[3:51] Speaker 3: my form, so to speak. And I was swooping over
[3:54] Speaker 3: these fields, always the same two fields. It was a
[3:57] Speaker 3: recurring dream. It was a part of Wiltshire that I
[4:00] Speaker 3: wasn't aware of, and it wasn't familiar to me at all.
[4:07] Speaker 3: I'd fly over these two fields, and they'd always be
[4:11] Speaker 3: one crop circle in one field, another crop circle in
[4:14] Speaker 3: another field. Always the same fields, always the same circles.
[4:20] Speaker 3: But curiously, there was a guy flying next to me
[4:24] Speaker 3: and he was a guy that I used to go
[4:25] Speaker 3: to school with and I hadn't thought of him for
[4:28] Speaker 3: like 30 years. No reason to think of him at all,
[4:31] Speaker 3: completely random. And I used to wake up thinking, why
[4:36] Speaker 3: is that kid in my dream? I've not heard of
[4:39] Speaker 3: him for like, years didn't make any sense anyway so
[4:43] Speaker 3: I was I drove around to see a friend once
[4:46] Speaker 3: when I was on one of my trips to Wiltshire
[4:48] Speaker 3: and I found I found myself taking a wrong turn
[4:51] Speaker 3: now wrong turn in this phenomena you know kind of
[4:54] Speaker 3: means different things to what it does in everyday life
[4:57] Speaker 3: so I took this wrong turn so to speak and
[5:01] Speaker 3: um I found myself in this part of Wiltshire that
[5:04] Speaker 3: I didn't know about this is it this is what
[5:06] Speaker 3: I had in my dream this is it and I
[5:09] Speaker 3: looked to my left and And the road that had
[5:13] Speaker 3: led me down this wrong turn, it was the same
[5:17] Speaker 3: road name as the road that my friend had lived
[5:20] Speaker 3: in when I used to go around and play around
[5:22] Speaker 3: his house when I was 10.
[5:24] Speaker 2: Wow, dear Lord.
[5:25] Speaker 3: Yeah, and I thought, well, that's got to be the
[5:28] Speaker 3: sign for me to do something here. So I had
[5:32] Speaker 3: a team of five, but we didn't have the capabilities
[5:37] Speaker 3: or the time to put both circles down. So I
[5:42] Speaker 3: said to the team, I said to my spouse, I said, look,
[5:44] Speaker 3: I've got two here. In terms of capability, they're exactly
[5:48] Speaker 3: the same. It's the same time, the same effort, the
[5:51] Speaker 3: same resources. But I don't know which one to do.
[5:54] Speaker 3: It's 50-50. I couldn't decide which to do. They couldn't
[5:57] Speaker 3: decide either. So what happened on the night was we
[6:01] Speaker 3: went out and I said, right, if we do a
[6:02] Speaker 3: straight line, it will be this circle. If we do
[6:05] Speaker 3: a curved line, it will be that. Let's just look Skywalker, Rick.
[6:08] Speaker 3: Let the falls flood in. Empty your mind. Just let
[6:11] Speaker 3: the falls flood in. So it was a curve. So
[6:15] Speaker 3: I said, OK, that's what we're doing. So we did
[6:17] Speaker 3: the circle. That was fine. It went great. And my
[6:23] Speaker 3: partner found me really early the next morning. And it
[6:25] Speaker 3: was like really early because, you know, we leave at three,
[6:28] Speaker 3: two or three. And she rang me at eight or nine.
[6:31] Speaker 3: She goes, I'm sorry to wake you up so early,
[6:33] Speaker 3: but I've just got to say congratulations on getting your
[6:36] Speaker 3: circles down. I said, what do you mean circles? And
[6:39] Speaker 3: she said, well, they've been reported online. Somebody's flown over them.
[6:44] Speaker 3: And I said, well, you only got one. We only
[6:46] Speaker 3: got one down. And she says, no, you didn't. You've
[6:48] Speaker 3: got them both down. And she said, go and have
[6:51] Speaker 3: a look at the aerial photographs. And in those days,
[6:54] Speaker 3: there was no Wi-Fi. You had to drive to an
[6:56] Speaker 3: internet cafe. So we went to an internet cafe. I
[7:01] Speaker 3: saw an aerial picture of my circle. And then there
[7:07] Speaker 3: was a dividing line, like a strip. And in the
[7:12] Speaker 3: other field was the other circle.
[7:15] Speaker 1: So.
[7:15] Speaker 2: Another team independently had made your other.
[7:19] Speaker 3: Independently. They didn't know about us. We didn't know about them.
[7:24] Speaker 3: And aerially, it was a strip. But actually, the terrain
[7:27] Speaker 3: was a hill separating both of us. So from the air,
[7:32] Speaker 3: it looked like a straight line.
[7:34] Speaker 4: But.
[7:35] Speaker 3: The actual terrain was a hill which separated us and
[7:39] Speaker 3: cordoned us off from them and cordoned them off from us.
[7:43] Speaker 2: So you couldn't see each other working.
[7:45] Speaker 3: No, and we didn't know each other.
[7:47] Speaker 1: Wow.
[7:50] Speaker 5: And I know you're going to want some after hearing this.
[7:51] Speaker 5: This is an amazing story. We've got Stephen and Malachi
[7:54] Speaker 5: Gregory in Nelson, New Zealand. I understand that Malachi, who's eight,
[7:59] Speaker 5: almost nine years old now, was suffering with Not just
[8:03] Speaker 5: one or two warts, but I mean a significant outbreak
[8:05] Speaker 5: of warts all over his body. So significant it impacted
[8:08] Speaker 5: his ability to really function.
[8:10] Speaker 6: Yeah, he was having trouble even holding a pencil to write.
[8:14] Speaker 6: It was Ty's book actually that got me thinking about it.
[8:17] Speaker 1: I'm not surprised.
[8:17] Speaker 3: It is an amazing immunomodulator.
[8:20] Speaker 4: And so I can see that.
[8:21] Speaker 3: It would work.
[8:22] Speaker 5: And so at what point did you see that there
[8:25] Speaker 5: was actually improvement? It was really going to work?
[8:27] Speaker 4: Well, look, we really started to notice it around 12
[8:29] Speaker 4: weeks later.
[8:31] Speaker 6: You can see these things actually getting smaller and smaller
[8:34] Speaker 6: and then going down to where they're just little red marks.
[8:37] Speaker 6: The whole things are gone. And we're talking about one
[8:40] Speaker 6: the size of a walnut.
[8:41] Speaker 4: I thought, no way that's going to.
[8:43] Speaker 3: Wow.
[8:43] Speaker 4: It's just been miraculous to see him get into a
[8:46] Speaker 4: pair of shoes.
[8:47] Speaker 1: Yes.
[8:48] Speaker 3: How wonderful.
[8:49] Speaker 4: It's great to see him so happy and confident.
[8:52] Speaker 3: Absolutely wonderful.
[8:53] Speaker 4: Our friends that have seen it, they're just blown away.
[8:55] Speaker 3: Ty, this is awesome. Yeah, this is awesome.
[8:57] Speaker 7: Another amazing story.
[8:59] Speaker 5: Why?
[8:59] Speaker 7: We're talking about carnivora. Call them to awaken your immune
[9:02] Speaker 7: system and protect yourself now.
[9:04] Speaker 2: Call 1-866-836-8735.
[9:08] Speaker 7: That's 1-866-836-8735. Or visit carnivora.com. C-A-R-N-I-V-O-R-A. Carnivora.com.
[9:20] Speaker 2: And when you finally saw both formations get together from above,
[9:23] Speaker 2: how close was the result to what you'd previously seen
[9:26] Speaker 2: in your dreams?
[9:29] Speaker 4: It was it.
[9:29] Speaker 3: It was it. There was no... Sometimes you look at
[9:34] Speaker 3: a circle and you go, OK, that mentally takes me
[9:37] Speaker 3: to the same place as the other design. This was it.
[9:42] Speaker 3: And this is where my main interest lies now. I
[9:46] Speaker 3: think that there's enough here with the interconnectivity for this
[9:50] Speaker 3: to be studied in isolation. Human crop circles to be
[9:56] Speaker 3: studied in isolation from any other function. because if your
[10:01] Speaker 3: list does want to the thing with this whole subject
[10:04] Speaker 3: is you've got to stay fluid richard you've got to
[10:06] Speaker 3: stay empirical and if you're an objective researcher you must
[10:10] Speaker 3: have you must be prepared to have your mind changed
[10:13] Speaker 3: at any time so this is why in the book
[10:15] Speaker 3: i took great care not to say all crop circles
[10:18] Speaker 3: are man-made because my opinion might change next week.
[10:22] Speaker 1: Okay.
[10:22] Speaker 3: But I think that this, these accounts and the fact
[10:26] Speaker 3: that my book was supposed to be 350 pages, I've
[10:29] Speaker 3: got it down to 180 pages because I was going
[10:33] Speaker 3: through it on the structural edit saying, you can't use
[10:35] Speaker 3: that story. You've already got it. Another team had that
[10:37] Speaker 3: 10 years ago that didn't know each other. But this
[10:40] Speaker 3: is where I, it's just this interconnectivity and are we
[10:45] Speaker 3: connecting latently with each other? Or are we connecting with
[10:50] Speaker 3: something else? Well, yeah.
[10:51] Speaker 2: I mean, as you're saying this, I'm thinking how many
[10:53] Speaker 2: statistically ridiculous synchronicities does one person have to experience before
[10:59] Speaker 2: he's entitled to suspect there's a pattern here?
[11:02] Speaker 3: That's right. I mean, there's another one which is quite mundane.
[11:05] Speaker 3: It's not very spiritual. We had a situation where the
[11:10] Speaker 3: team was going to make swallows. And there was a
[11:13] Speaker 3: newbie on there. You're talking about birds? Yeah, yeah. It
[11:17] Speaker 3: was going to be like a jigsaw puzzle of swallows.
[11:20] Speaker 3: And there was a weak team member. There was a
[11:22] Speaker 3: newbie on there. So the team leader had to spend
[11:26] Speaker 3: most of his day coaching that guy what he was
[11:29] Speaker 3: going to be doing. Most of it was border between
[11:32] Speaker 3: the lines, but it was curved. So he had to
[11:33] Speaker 3: make sure that he said, you know, this circle will
[11:37] Speaker 3: be as good as its weakest link. We've got to
[11:39] Speaker 3: get it right. So he coached this guy throughout the day.
[11:41] Speaker 3: He said they drove to the field and they were
[11:45] Speaker 3: all ready. And he said the team leader sat upright
[11:50] Speaker 3: in his car seat as if he'd been like downloaded
[11:53] Speaker 3: some information. He said it is like he'd been jacked
[11:55] Speaker 3: into some super supercomputer or something. And he just went,
[11:59] Speaker 3: no spirals. We're not doing swallows. We're doing spirals. And
[12:04] Speaker 3: everyone else says, well, we can't do it because, you know,
[12:06] Speaker 3: you've coached the new guy. He says, no, it's going
[12:09] Speaker 3: to be great. It's got to be spirals. And that's
[12:12] Speaker 3: what they did. They did spirals instead of swallows, went
[12:16] Speaker 3: to the internet cafe the next morning to see if
[12:19] Speaker 3: it had been reported. They found on Crop Circle Connector
[12:24] Speaker 3: the spirals, but they said, well, hold on a minute.
[12:27] Speaker 3: We were working in golden crop. This is green. And
[12:31] Speaker 3: somebody else said, they've got the coordinates wrong. This is
[12:35] Speaker 3: miles away. What are they doing? These guys are normally
[12:38] Speaker 3: really good. They're normally on the ball. Are they using
[12:41] Speaker 3: bad filters? How did they get the wrong location? Did
[12:44] Speaker 3: the pilot phone it in wrong? They couldn't understand it.
[12:47] Speaker 3: So they scrolled down to see who else had been out,
[12:51] Speaker 3: if anyone. And there was their spirals. The one above
[12:55] Speaker 3: was another set of spirals, which were identical. And they
[12:59] Speaker 3: were like 20 or 30 miles away. And years later,
[13:05] Speaker 3: one of the team just happens to be picking up
[13:09] Speaker 3: a hitchhiker that was in distress at the side of
[13:11] Speaker 3: the road. I think his car had broken down. He
[13:14] Speaker 3: said he picked him up. He said, we didn't know
[13:17] Speaker 3: each other from Adam. And of all the conversation topics
[13:21] Speaker 3: that we could have had, considering that we don't know
[13:23] Speaker 3: each other, we started to talk about crop circles off
[13:26] Speaker 3: the bat from nowhere, from nowhere. And, you know, you
[13:30] Speaker 3: know what it's like in this subject. You've got to
[13:32] Speaker 3: be careful who you speak to, Richard, because, you know,
[13:34] Speaker 3: we need to section off these parts of our lives.
[13:36] Speaker 3: He said, we started to talk about crop circles. And
[13:39] Speaker 3: this guy said to him, oh, we did one. We
[13:42] Speaker 3: did one years ago. He said, turns out they were skydivers.
[13:47] Speaker 3: He said, so we wanted to create a pattern which
[13:49] Speaker 3: looked like the... the landing spirals of two of our
[13:53] Speaker 3: team going, and it was the spirals. It was exactly
[13:56] Speaker 3: the same. But you see, there's nothing spooky or supernatural or,
[14:03] Speaker 3: you know, a great message to that story. There's no bigger,
[14:07] Speaker 3: massive spiritual meaning to it. But that's where I start
[14:11] Speaker 3: to think. These stories repeating themselves, this interconnectivity between people
[14:18] Speaker 3: that don't know each other and are somehow connected I
[14:21] Speaker 3: just can't, and that's my biggest interest with this now.
[14:25] Speaker 2: Well, there's sometimes these stories are a little darker too.
[14:28] Speaker 2: There's a story in the book about a team. They
[14:32] Speaker 2: enter a field and then they suddenly lose like basic
[14:36] Speaker 2: coordination and the ability to use equipment and things that
[14:41] Speaker 2: they've handled countless times before. Tell me about that.
[14:46] Speaker 3: Yeah. Just as a preamble, that same team had gone
[14:52] Speaker 3: into a field the previous season and it had been
[14:57] Speaker 3: reported by a military pilot that through his sensors on
[15:05] Speaker 3: his chopper, you know, you can see they've got the
[15:07] Speaker 3: night vision, he said he saw this team clamber into
[15:10] Speaker 3: this field and at that same instant he saw a plasma,
[15:15] Speaker 3: a heat plasma ball light up exactly the same point
[15:21] Speaker 3: they're clabbing into the field he said but it was
[15:23] Speaker 3: only visible on these apparatus it wasn't visible to the
[15:26] Speaker 3: naked eye um but what happened was they went to
[15:31] Speaker 3: do this circle it felt off it felt terrible they
[15:35] Speaker 3: had this they were all had this sense of extreme
[15:39] Speaker 3: foreboding like they shouldn't be there um and they all
[15:43] Speaker 3: felt it independently but they didn't tell each other until
[15:47] Speaker 3: afterwards because they didn't want to put a damper on
[15:49] Speaker 3: the evening but they said we all felt we should
[15:52] Speaker 3: definitely not be here they felt as if they were
[15:55] Speaker 3: being watched um and they lost all coordination they couldn't
[16:00] Speaker 3: at one point at one point apparently one of the
[16:03] Speaker 3: teams said to the others do i know what we're
[16:05] Speaker 3: doing here do i know any of you guys and
[16:08] Speaker 3: they said they were untangling the tape and they were
[16:10] Speaker 3: saying what are these stripes on here oh that's numbers
[16:14] Speaker 3: What do I do now? Well, you crab step. They
[16:17] Speaker 3: lost the ability that they lost all cognitive function and
[16:22] Speaker 3: they were chased out.
