Tonight’s guest, Michelle Heaton, has had a lot of Sasquatch-related experiences and all of them happened in Linn County, Oregon. About two years ago, Michelle started investigating Sasquatch in a hardcore way. On tonight’s show, she’s going to share some of the experiences that resulted from the investigations she’s done. She’s also going to share other sightings and experiences she had that didn’t happen while she was actively investigating them. They just happened. We hope you’ll tun in and listen to her do that. [0:01] Speaker 1: If you've had a bigfoot siding and would like to
[0:03] Speaker 1: be a guest, please go to bigfoota witness dot com
[0:06] Speaker 1: and let me know.
[0:08] Speaker 2: O Kai. My name is Michelle Heaton and I live
[0:12] Speaker 2: in sweet Home, Oregon. I have a Sasquatch group on
[0:18] Speaker 2: Facebook called Sweet Home Sasquatch, and all of my experiences
[0:24] Speaker 2: have been here in Link County. I started doing research
[0:31] Speaker 2: pretty hardcore about two years ago, and I found a
[0:36] Speaker 2: really nice location where I had seen signs of sasquatch activity, structures, footprints,
[0:44] Speaker 2: things of that nature. I actually found a whole area
[0:50] Speaker 2: of sasquatch prints and there were four different sizes on
[0:56] Speaker 2: an old asphalt logging road that had moss on it.
[1:01] Speaker 2: So there were four different sizes with the largest being
[1:04] Speaker 2: eighteen inches and the smallest being around eight to ten inches.
[1:10] Speaker 2: So I found this area and immediately I started having sightings.
[1:19] Speaker 2: My first sighting was when I was on a trail
[1:23] Speaker 2: and it was an out and back trail and I
[1:28] Speaker 2: had one of my research partners with me, and we
[1:31] Speaker 2: were driving in my car very slowly down this dirt
[1:34] Speaker 2: trail and I saw what to me looked like the
[1:39] Speaker 2: back of one with it was huge. It was like
[1:43] Speaker 2: four feet across, and the color of it was like
[1:49] Speaker 2: a reddish kind of brown color. It had no neck
[1:53] Speaker 2: and it had that conical shaped head, so it was
[1:56] Speaker 2: from the back. So I stopped my car immediately. And
[2:01] Speaker 2: when I stopped, I had a tree next to me,
[2:05] Speaker 2: so I had to put it in reverse to back up.
[2:08] Speaker 2: And you know, see what I saw again, And it
[2:13] Speaker 2: was probably about ten feet away from the car. So
[2:16] Speaker 2: when I put it in reverse and backed up to
[2:19] Speaker 2: get out of the view of this tree, it had
[2:22] Speaker 2: moved about thirty to forty feet inward in this area.
[2:29] Speaker 2: And the area is incredibly bushy. It's just tall berry
[2:35] Speaker 2: bushes and fallen trees, stumps like all these obstacles were
[2:42] Speaker 2: in the way. And it was incredible to me how
[2:46] Speaker 2: it had moved from ten feet away from me to
[2:49] Speaker 2: forty feet away from me within just a couple of seconds,
[2:53] Speaker 2: enough time for me to put my car in reverse
[2:56] Speaker 2: and back it up about a foot or so, you know.
[3:00] Speaker 2: So I looked over at my partner and I told her,
[3:04] Speaker 2: I was like, do you see this look, you know,
[3:07] Speaker 2: and she's like, no, no, I don't see where. And
[3:09] Speaker 2: so just in the time that I had reached down
[3:13] Speaker 2: next to me to my right to grab my phone,
[3:17] Speaker 2: to get my phone so I could take pictures of it.
[3:21] Speaker 2: I had looked back up and it had moved another
[3:24] Speaker 2: forty feet behind me, so it not behind me, but
[3:29] Speaker 2: back to the left. And it was kind of I
[3:34] Speaker 2: would explain it as like time laps, because it was
[3:38] Speaker 2: just so quickly that it happened. It was like boom,
[3:42] Speaker 2: boom boom, and then it was gone. I lifted my
[3:45] Speaker 2: phone and I started taking pictures and there was nothing there,
[3:50] Speaker 2: absolutely nothing. So we decided we'd drive down to the
[3:55] Speaker 2: end of the trail, which wasn't very far at all,
[3:58] Speaker 2: and turn around and come back. Literally took us maybe
[4:02] Speaker 2: five minutes. And we turned around to come back, and
[4:05] Speaker 2: as we were coming back off the trail, the bushes
[4:10] Speaker 2: on the side of the car, on her side were
[4:13] Speaker 2: moving like something was walking through them. And she looked
[4:18] Speaker 2: at me and she said, hey, are you seeing this.
[4:21] Speaker 2: Look the bushes are moving, And so I would stop
[4:24] Speaker 2: the car, and when I stopped the car, the bushes
[4:27] Speaker 2: would stop moving, and so I'd go again a little
[4:31] Speaker 2: bit further and the bushes would start moving. But it
[4:34] Speaker 2: wasn't from like air, from the car wind or anything,
[4:38] Speaker 2: because we were just creeping along this trail. It wasn't windy,
[4:44] Speaker 2: you know, the weather was fair, the sun was out,
[4:48] Speaker 2: so weather wise or environment wise, there wasn't anything to
[4:52] Speaker 2: explain why these bushes were moving. And that happened. The
[4:57] Speaker 2: bushes kept moving all the way off the trail. So
[5:02] Speaker 2: I went home and I thought about it, and I thought, oh,
[5:04] Speaker 2: my gosh, you know, like, what did I just see?
[5:08] Speaker 2: Am I making this up in my head? Am I
[5:10] Speaker 2: manifesting this?
[5:11] Speaker 3: Like?
[5:12] Speaker 2: You know, am I crazy? What's going to happen to me?
[5:15] Speaker 2: You know? So I just kind of kept it to myself.
[5:20] Speaker 2: So a little while later, maybe maybe about a month later,
[5:25] Speaker 2: I was up at the mountain again, and you know,
[5:27] Speaker 2: we're always finding these really beautiful structures and these prints
[5:33] Speaker 2: that just can't be casted for some reason or another,
[5:36] Speaker 2: because on you know, the asphalt, the casting material is
[5:41] Speaker 2: going to stick, it's not going to come off, you know.
[5:45] Speaker 2: Just we'd find prints in gravel and you could clearly
[5:49] Speaker 2: see them, but you know, they're not deep enough that
[5:53] Speaker 2: it's just not castable. Prince. So anyways, we're up at
[5:59] Speaker 2: the mountain and we're coming down the mountain. We've had
[6:01] Speaker 2: a day up there, and it was just, you know,
[6:03] Speaker 2: it's a really beautiful day. And I have two of
[6:07] Speaker 2: my research partners with me, and they're both females, and
[6:11] Speaker 2: we're just laughing and having a good time. And as
[6:14] Speaker 2: I come around a curve on the ridge to the
[6:20] Speaker 2: left of me, just to the left off the trail,
[6:24] Speaker 2: but yet still in front of me, I see just
[6:29] Speaker 2: this flash of a sasquatch. It manifested from the feet up,
[6:36] Speaker 2: so it started with the feet and it just went
[6:39] Speaker 2: whoop all the way up. It just appeared, and I
[6:43] Speaker 2: stopped my car and I was like, oh my god.
[6:47] Speaker 2: And just as quickly as I could see like the
[6:51] Speaker 2: fingers on its hands, the outline, the shape of it.
[6:56] Speaker 2: It had an arm resting on the tree. Just as
[7:00] Speaker 2: quickly as I realized what was in front of me,
[7:03] Speaker 2: it disappeared. And as it disappeared, it kind of went
[7:09] Speaker 2: all of it all at once, just kind of went
[7:11] Speaker 2: into an orb shape, like a ball shape, and then
[7:17] Speaker 2: the ball shape disappeared and just sparkles flew everywhere, and
[7:24] Speaker 2: it blew my mind because it was so beautiful, you know.
[7:28] Speaker 2: And I told the girls, I was like, did you
[7:31] Speaker 2: see that? And they're like, nope, we didn't see anything.
[7:35] Speaker 2: So again I was just like, oh my god, you
[7:39] Speaker 2: know what am I doing? Is my mind making this
[7:43] Speaker 2: stuff up? You know? Like what is am I becoming obsessed?
[7:48] Speaker 2: Am I thinking too hard? You know what? All these
[7:52] Speaker 2: different things are just you know, in my brain. But
[7:57] Speaker 2: they could tell by my reaction that something really affected
[8:03] Speaker 2: me because I was breathing heavy, my heart was racing,
[8:07] Speaker 2: I was almost hyperventilating, and so we had to drive
[8:11] Speaker 2: down thirty five hundred feet to the main road, and
[8:16] Speaker 2: during that entire time, I was trying to catch my breath,
[8:21] Speaker 2: you know. So fast forward to you know, I went
[8:25] Speaker 2: home and I thought about it again. I was like, okay,
[8:28] Speaker 2: am I going crazy? What's going on? Really? But at
[8:31] Speaker 2: the same time, I felt compelled to reach out to it.
[8:37] Speaker 2: So I remember on my way home, I was thinking
[8:39] Speaker 2: about it. I was talking in my head. I'm like thinking,
[8:43] Speaker 2: you know, what is this? Who are you? What's going on?
[8:47] Speaker 2: You know? And I dropped the girls off and on
[8:51] Speaker 2: my way home, I said out loud, who are you?
[8:56] Speaker 2: And instantly this thought or this this kind of like
[9:04] Speaker 2: vision came into my head. It's like, I'm the one
[9:07] Speaker 2: who's been protecting you. I've known you your whole life,
[9:13] Speaker 2: and so I thought about it, and I used to
[9:16] Speaker 2: have dreams when I was a child about sasquatch and
[9:20] Speaker 2: they were reoccurring dreams, and instantly I made the connection,
[9:25] Speaker 2: this is the one that I had dreamt about, This
[9:27] Speaker 2: is the one who's been with me my whole life.
[9:30] Speaker 2: And it became something spiritual to me. So and I
[9:34] Speaker 2: know a lot of people don't understand that, or they
[9:37] Speaker 2: don't want to, you know, kind of believe that, but
[9:41] Speaker 2: it meant something to me. So fast forward to it
[9:48] Speaker 2: was July twenty sixth, and so I have these town
[9:52] Speaker 2: hall meetings in Sweet Home at the Damn Bar in Foster,
[9:58] Speaker 2: and I had them at the let Saturday of every month,
[10:03] Speaker 2: usually during the summer months, and you know when it's warm.
[10:07] Speaker 2: So I had just had a meeting and it was
[10:10] Speaker 2: July twenty sixth, and one of my research partners had
[10:14] Speaker 2: came over from Bend, and he only comes over once
[10:17] Speaker 2: a month during the meetings, and we usually camp out,
[10:21] Speaker 2: and so he had brought us fiance with him and
[10:24] Speaker 2: we had went up the mountain and I think we
[10:27] Speaker 2: put a camera out that day or something, and we
[10:30] Speaker 2: drove around the trails and stuff and we had gotten
[10:34] Speaker 2: back to camp, and I decided, because I lived so
[10:37] Speaker 2: close to my research area, that I was just going
[10:42] Speaker 2: to go home and I was going to sleep in
[10:46] Speaker 2: my own bed that night. I didn't mind if I
[10:49] Speaker 2: had the choice to sleep in my own bed or
[10:52] Speaker 2: camp in my car. I'm probably going to go home
[10:54] Speaker 2: and sleep in my own bed. So I told him.
[10:58] Speaker 2: I was like, Hey, I'm going home. It's really quiet,
[11:01] Speaker 2: nothing's going on. I'm not feeling anything up here at
[11:05] Speaker 2: all tonight. I'll be back at six o'clock in the morning.
[11:10] Speaker 2: So I drove down the mountain, and I remember, it's
[11:13] Speaker 2: really kind of weird because I drove down the mountain
[11:17] Speaker 2: and for some reason that night, I wanted to see
[11:20] Speaker 2: how quickly I could get down the mountain. And I
[11:23] Speaker 2: don't usually do this, because first of all, it's dangerous
[11:26] Speaker 2: driving those trails, but late at night on a Saturday night,
[11:31] Speaker 2: I assumed I just figured, you know, it would be
[11:34] Speaker 2: a fun time for me to try to see how
[11:37] Speaker 2: quickly I could get down to the bottom of the
[11:39] Speaker 2: hill because there's absolutely no traffic. There's no ATVs or
[11:44] Speaker 2: bikes or anything on these trails this late at night.
[11:50] Speaker 2: So I did that and I made it like in
[11:52] Speaker 2: record time. I think it was seven minutes. So anyways,
[11:56] Speaker 2: I'm driving down the main road and just as I
[12:00] Speaker 2: get to this really popular camp site, there's a big
[12:06] Speaker 2: curve in the road and I come around this curve
[12:11] Speaker 2: and I'm kind of lined up with this campsite's driveway
[12:15] Speaker 2: and I see in front of me, about fifty feet
[12:19] Speaker 2: in front of me on each side of the road
[12:22] Speaker 2: are these big, red, round hairs of eyes. But at
[12:31] Speaker 2: first I didn't think that they were eyes. I thought
[12:33] Speaker 2: they were reflectors, like they looked like bicycle reflectors to me.
[12:37] Speaker 2: They were big and they were round, and they were red,
[12:41] Speaker 2: and it wasn't eyeshine. They were big around, like a
[12:45] Speaker 2: bicycle reflector, that's how big around they were. So I
[12:49] Speaker 2: had stopped because I realized there was two on the
[12:54] Speaker 2: right hand side of the road behind a tree. It
[12:57] Speaker 2: was kind of looking out from behind a tree, maybe
[13:00] Speaker 2: about five feet up six feet up. And then the
[13:04] Speaker 2: other two there was two more. The other set was
[13:09] Speaker 2: really close to the ground, almost on the just almost
[13:13] Speaker 2: on the ground on the driver side, on the left side,
[13:18] Speaker 2: and they were right across from each other. And I
[13:22] Speaker 2: knew because I'd driven this road hundreds, if not a
[13:26] Speaker 2: thousand times, I knew that they did not belong there.
[13:31] Speaker 2: There's no way. This was not natural. And so I
[13:37] Speaker 2: stopped my car, and there's no traffic on the main road,
[13:41] Speaker 2: so I know nobody's behind me. You know, I'm going
[13:44] Speaker 2: to stop and I'm going to like look at these
[13:48] Speaker 2: and I'm going to try and figure out what they are.
[13:50] Speaker 2: But I kept my distance. There was something about it
[13:52] Speaker 2: that made me feel like I needed to keep my
[13:54] Speaker 2: distance and approach slowly. So instantly I turned off my
[14:01] Speaker 2: lights except for my fog lights. I left my fog
[14:04] Speaker 2: lights on because whatever it was, instinctively I didn't want
[14:07] Speaker 2: to blind it. I had my bright lights on. So
[14:11] Speaker 2: I started creeping up just maybe two three miles an hour,
[14:16] Speaker 2: four or five. You know, I'm just barely creeping upon them.
[14:21] Speaker 2: And as I'm getting closer, I'm trying to think of
[14:25] Speaker 2: all these things that they could be. Could it like
[14:29] Speaker 2: a turkey or an owl? And then I thought too,
[14:33] Speaker 2: I was like, who in the world is in the
[14:36] Speaker 2: woods in the middle of the night wearing steampunk goggles?
[14:41] Speaker 2: Because the closer I got, the more they looked like
[14:43] Speaker 2: steampunk goggles and that had a red glow, you know,
[14:49] Speaker 2: And so I just I continued to creep closer and closer,
[14:53] Speaker 2: and the closer I got, the more I realized that
[14:56] Speaker 2: these were eyes, and they were so lard. They were
[15:00] Speaker 2: like the size of large eggs, and they were shaped
[15:04] Speaker 2: like eggs. They weren't perfectly round like how I had
[15:07] Speaker 2: first saw them. The closer I got, the more I
[15:12] Speaker 2: realized that they were more almond shaped, but yet they
[15:17] Speaker 2: were still emitting this red glow. But it wasn't like
[15:21] Speaker 2: a laser or a flashlight. It was just like the
[15:24] Speaker 2: glow was in the eye socket. So I got closer
[15:28] Speaker 2: and closer, and the closer I got, I could kind
[15:33] Speaker 2: of I could see the body movement. It was a silhouette,
[15:39] Speaker 2: and it was a very dark like black silhouette, but
[15:42] Speaker 2: I could see that the one on the right hand
[15:46] Speaker 2: side of the road, she would look at me, and
[15:51] Speaker 2: then she would look at the one across the road,
[15:54] Speaker 2: and then she would look behind her, like she had
[15:58] Speaker 2: somebody or something behind her that she was keeping an
[16:01] Speaker 2: eye on. And immediately I felt this instinct like she
[16:07] Speaker 2: has a child, like she's there's she has a child
[16:13] Speaker 2: with her and she's trying to protect it and she's
[16:16] Speaker 2: looking to him across the road for guidance or protection,
[16:22] Speaker 2: you know, like like he was like, he's the one,
[16:26] Speaker 2: he's the main one, and she's he is her protector.
[16:32] Speaker 2: So I look over to the one on the left
[16:37] Speaker 2: and instantly I see that, you know, those are eyes
[16:41] Speaker 2: looking at me, and he locked eyes with me, and
[16:45] Speaker 2: from that point on he did not take them off me.
[16:49] Speaker 2: But he wasn't looking at my car or you know,
[16:53] Speaker 2: the headlights or anything. He was looking at me, like
[16:56] Speaker 2: he was looking at my face. He was staring into
[17:00] Speaker 2: my eyes. And that's when I started thinking that these
[17:06] Speaker 2: are you know, these are Sasquatch. They have to be.
[17:10] Speaker 2: They must be. Even though I couldn't see their bodies,
[17:14] Speaker 2: there was a connection there. So I kept moving, you know,
[17:20] Speaker 2: very slowly up the road, and again instinctively, I'm thinking, okay,
[17:28] Speaker 2: you know, they're in the process of crossing the road.
[17:32] Speaker 2: I am just going to creep by and move out
[17:35] Speaker 2: of the way so that they can continue doing whatever
[17:38] Speaker 2: they're doing. And as I'm doing that, my headlights I
[17:44] Speaker 2: get like right lined up with him on the left,
[17:51] Speaker 2: and as my headlights kind of are my fog lights,
[17:54] Speaker 2: i should say, kind of light up the way I
[17:58] Speaker 2: can see that I'm looking at his head on the
[18:03] Speaker 2: side of the road and he's hunched over and his
[18:08] Speaker 2: back is huge, and I can see what looks like
[18:13] Speaker 2: hair to me. But the way that it lit up,
[18:18] Speaker 2: it kind of it looked irridescent. As my headlights moved
[18:23] Speaker 2: over it, it kind of sparkled and it rippled. It
[18:28] Speaker 2: did this really strange rippling effect, and to me, I
[18:34] Speaker 2: felt like it was either cloaking or it was beginning
[18:39] Speaker 2: to cloak, or it had just you know, uncloaked. It
[18:45] Speaker 2: was like in a process. It was a process of something,
[18:49] Speaker 2: but it was beautiful. Whatever it was doing, it was
[18:53] Speaker 2: just it was a beautiful sight to see and it
[18:56] Speaker 2: was something that I'd never seen before. A lot of
[19:00] Speaker 2: people who I talked to about it, they always mentioned
[19:03] Speaker 2: the movie Predator, and I've never seen that movie, but
[19:07] Speaker 2: I would agree that that's probably it could be compared
[19:11] Speaker 2: to that. So I just continued to go by, and
[19:15] Speaker 2: as I continued to go between them, my windows are down,
[19:20] Speaker 2: my radio is off, everything is silent. I didn't smell anything,
[19:25] Speaker 2: I didn't hear anything, but he continued to watch me
[19:30] Speaker 2: go by as I drove by, and I just kept
[19:33] Speaker 2: my eyes on him, and in my head, I'm just
[19:35] Speaker 2: thinking I'm going to leave now, you know, I'm not.
[19:39] Speaker 2: I just I think you're beautiful, and I just want
[19:42] Speaker 2: to get out of your way. And I drove past them.
[19:47] Speaker 2: And when I got probably maybe about twenty feet ten
[19:52] Speaker 2: or twenty feet past that area, I looked in my room.
[19:56] Speaker 2: I slowed way down and almost stopped again, and I
[20:00] Speaker 2: my rooview mirror and I couldn't see a thing, nothing,
[20:05] Speaker 2: whatever it was, it had either disappeared or had just
[20:09] Speaker 2: cloaked or something. But I knew when I was in
[20:14] Speaker 2: front of it that whatever they were, they were real.
[20:19] Speaker 2: They were tangible. I could touch them if I wanted to.
[20:23] Speaker 2: But I didn't feel any fear. I wasn't nervous. It
[20:26] Speaker 2: didn't make me anxious. Had it, I would have rolled
[20:31] Speaker 2: up my windows. Never once did I think about rolling
[20:34] Speaker 2: up my windows. And also never once did I think
[20:38] Speaker 2: about getting my phone and taking a picture. It was
[20:42] Speaker 2: just like I had both hands on the steering wheel,
[20:45] Speaker 2: and I was ready, you know, if something were to happen,
[20:51] Speaker 2: I was ready to go. But just you know, because
[20:54] Speaker 2: I'm a mother, you know, so I'm always I'm thinking
[20:58] Speaker 2: of ways to protect myself. But yeah, I drove past
[21:02] Speaker 2: them and they were gone, and so I went home
[21:05] Speaker 2: and I thought about it for a while, and I
[21:07] Speaker 2: just still it didn't it didn't register what it was,
[21:12] Speaker 2: or maybe I couldn't process it because of the glowing
[21:15] Speaker 2: eyes and the rippling effect on their fur hair. It
[21:22] Speaker 2: was something I'd never seen before, and I couldn't process it.
[21:28] Speaker 2: I just didn't know how. And so I went to bed,
[21:32] Speaker 2: and I woke up the next morning at you know,
[21:36] Speaker 2: pretty early, about five o'clock, and got my coffee and
[21:39] Speaker 2: got ready to go back out to the site. I
[21:41] Speaker 2: had to be back by six o'clock because I promised Eric.
[21:45] Speaker 2: So I went back to the site. But when I
[21:49] Speaker 2: went back, it was during the summer, so it was
[21:53] Speaker 2: daylight already. And I stopped and I looked, and I
[21:57] Speaker 2: realized that where the one had been on the left,
[22:01] Speaker 2: where his head was really close to the ground, it
[22:04] Speaker 2: was like his chin was sitting on the side of
[22:06] Speaker 2: the road and he was hunched over. There's a ditch
[22:09] Speaker 2: there that's about four four and a half feet deep,
[22:13] Speaker 2: so he was what I think is that he was
[22:17] Speaker 2: crouching in that ditch and he was hunched over the
[22:21] Speaker 2: side of the road, and he was just so large
[22:23] Speaker 2: that his chin was on the side of the road.
[22:28] Speaker 2: And I looked over to the other side where the
[22:31] Speaker 2: other one had been behind the tree, and there's also
[22:35] Speaker 2: like a little culvert there, which if she had been
[22:39] Speaker 2: about five or six feet up the side of the
[22:42] Speaker 2: tree with the cup two feet at least in the culvert,
[22:48] Speaker 2: she actually would have been seven eight feet tall, so
[22:53] Speaker 2: and who knows, she could have also been slouched a
[22:56] Speaker 2: little bit. So I was then I was like, Okay, yeah,
[23:02] Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure what I saw. I'm pretty sure that that,
[23:06] Speaker 2: you know, that was a sasquatch, two sasquatches. So I
[23:09] Speaker 2: drove up to the campsite and Eric was getting up
[23:13] Speaker 2: and he was making coffee, and I remember I sat
[23:16] Speaker 2: down and I said I saw something weird last night.
[23:20] Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, what what?
[23:22] Speaker 3: You know?
[23:22] Speaker 2: What was it? And I started to tell him the story,
[23:27] Speaker 2: but not as detailed, you know, just kind of like
[23:31] Speaker 2: I'm still confused about it, and he's like, oh, cool,
[23:36] Speaker 2: you know. But it took me about a couple of
[23:42] Speaker 2: weeks after that to really understand it, and it was amazing,
[23:50] Speaker 2: And when I think about it now, I still I
[23:54] Speaker 2: treasure that experience so much because it was it was
[23:58] Speaker 2: what told me that no, Michelle, you're not crazy, you're
[24:02] Speaker 2: not seeing things. This is real. It really happened, and
[24:07] Speaker 2: you had a connection with them. So those are my
[24:12] Speaker 2: three sightings that I've had so far. Everything else has
[24:16] Speaker 2: been kind of different. Like I had an experience where
[24:22] Speaker 2: I'd brought one of my friends up from Washington and
[24:27] Speaker 2: he's also a sasquatch researcher, and he asked if he
[24:31] Speaker 2: could come up, and so I brought them up to
[24:35] Speaker 2: my spot and we unloaded all of our camping stuff
[24:38] Speaker 2: and whatnot, and you know, we were tootling around camp
[24:44] Speaker 2: and around the site. And when I camp, I want
[24:49] Speaker 2: to mention that I don't camp in their habitat area,
[24:53] Speaker 2: what I believe is their habitat area. I always camp
[24:57] Speaker 2: on the outskirts of it. I have a specific campsite
[25:00] Speaker 2: that I stay at because I feel like they've kind
[25:04] Speaker 2: of directed me that this is an okay place for
[25:07] Speaker 2: you to camp, but don't camp in the habitat area,
[25:12] Speaker 2: just but this is a good spot. So I stand
[25:14] Speaker 2: on the outskirts and that night, as soon as it
[25:18] Speaker 2: got dark again it was during the summer. So, you know,
[25:22] Speaker 2: it got dark about I don't know, eight thirty nine
[25:25] Speaker 2: o'clock at night, and as soon as it got dark,
[25:29] Speaker 2: we started hearing something up on the hill in front
[25:32] Speaker 2: of our campsite, and it sounded like something was pacing
[25:37] Speaker 2: and it was grunting, and we thought for the longest time,
[25:43] Speaker 2: We're standing there for a long time, like thirty minutes,
[25:47] Speaker 2: more than thirty minutes, probably an hour maybe, and we're
[25:53] Speaker 2: standing there listening to it grunt and pace. You could
[25:57] Speaker 2: hear it was close, and it would dure, and then
[26:00] Speaker 2: it would be far away and you could hear it
[26:02] Speaker 2: in the distance go. You know. So we were listening
[26:06] Speaker 2: to this and I had never been so terrified in
[26:10] Speaker 2: my life. I've never experienced the feeling of your knees
[26:15] Speaker 2: actually knocking together. And I know a lot of people
[26:18] Speaker 2: talk about knocking knees. That night, I was so terrified
[26:22] Speaker 2: that my knees were knocking. Literally, I was standing there
[26:26] Speaker 2: and my knees were shaking so much that they were
[26:29] Speaker 2: knocking together. And so, I, you know, I took it
[26:33] Speaker 2: as it was. It was a sign of something. So
[26:36] Speaker 2: we're thinking, Okay, is this a bear? Is this a
[26:40] Speaker 2: wild boar? Well, I'd done my research, and I knew
[26:44] Speaker 2: that wild boars are not in the Oregon Cascades, at
[26:49] Speaker 2: least they're not reported, and I've never heard of any
[26:52] Speaker 2: accounts of wild boar being in the cascades. So bears,
[26:58] Speaker 2: of course, yes. But bears also have a they have habits,
[27:04] Speaker 2: and one of their habits is, you know, if they
[27:07] Speaker 2: know that there are people in the vicinity, typically they'll
[27:11] Speaker 2: run away or they'll you know, go the opposite way
[27:14] Speaker 2: if they smell gasoline or oil from a car. You know,
[27:18] Speaker 2: bears don't want to be around people. And also if
[27:23] Speaker 2: they were to stock people like that, then they would
[27:27] Speaker 2: charge eventually, but this never happened. So we went to bed.
[27:32] Speaker 2: I was like, you know what, I just want to
[27:34] Speaker 2: be in my car with the doors locked, because this
[27:38] Speaker 2: is really unsettling. Had there been more people up there,
[27:41] Speaker 2: I probably would have went home, but it was just him,
[27:44] Speaker 2: and I certainly didn't want to leave him there alone
[27:46] Speaker 2: because I was hosting him. So I got my car
[27:50] Speaker 2: and I locked the doors, and he got in his
[27:52] Speaker 2: car and he locked the doors or whatever. You know, No,
[27:55] Speaker 2: he didn't lock the doors because he has a tent
[27:58] Speaker 2: on top of his car. So he was up there,
[28:00] Speaker 2: and we went to bed, and I woke up about
[28:03] Speaker 2: four o'clock in the morning and it was still dark out,
[28:05] Speaker 2: so I kind of waited. I wanted to wait until
[28:08] Speaker 2: the sun started to come up. And about five o'clock
[28:11] Speaker 2: I could see the sun was coming up. You know,
[28:13] Speaker 2: it's starting to get a little bit laid out. So
[28:15] Speaker 2: I was like, okay, I'm ready to get out of
[28:17] Speaker 2: my car, and I opened up the hatch and I
[28:20] Speaker 2: came out of the back and I shut the hatch
[28:24] Speaker 2: and I cleared my throat, and clear as day, right
[28:28] Speaker 2: after I cleared my throat, I could hear it up
[28:31] Speaker 2: and on the hill right above us, it went. And
[28:36] Speaker 2: I was like no, So I jumped in the front
[28:40] Speaker 2: seat of my car and slammed the door and I
[28:42] Speaker 2: locked it and I stayed in there until my friend
[28:45] Speaker 2: woke up that morning, and then we never heard it again.
[28:49] Speaker 2: But the cool thing about this whole experience is that
[28:53] Speaker 2: we did get it on audio, and he sent me
[28:56] Speaker 2: the files and I posted it to my Facebook sasquatch group,
[29:02] Speaker 2: so it's there, it's available to listen to. So I
[29:07] Speaker 2: started thinking about it, and I let all my professional friends,
[29:12] Speaker 2: you know, my wildlife friends, my animal expert friends, my
[29:18] Speaker 2: sasquatch friends, all listen to it, and I got so
[29:21] Speaker 2: many different opinions, and I get some people say, well,
[29:25] Speaker 2: it sounds like a bear, and some people are like, oh,
[29:27] Speaker 2: it sounds like a wild boar. One person said it
[29:31] Speaker 2: sounded like a bird. But the more I got to
[29:34] Speaker 2: think about it, and with the experiences that I had
[29:38] Speaker 2: had previously, I thought, well, maybe it was a sasquatch,
[29:43] Speaker 2: and maybe he was just irritated, because we don't know
[29:46] Speaker 2: what they sound like. We don't know what sasquatches sound
[29:50] Speaker 2: like when they're angry or when they're sad, or when
[29:52] Speaker 2: they're happy. So who's to say he wasn't upset or
[29:59] Speaker 2: irritated or even anxious that I was. There was somebody
[30:03] Speaker 2: he wasn't familiar with because he knows the people in
[30:07] Speaker 2: my research group. They know me well enough now, like
[30:11] Speaker 2: maybe they felt like I wasn't safe, or maybe they
[30:14] Speaker 2: were just angry because I brought up a stranger. I
[30:16] Speaker 2: don't know, but that's what I feel like it could
[30:21] Speaker 2: have been. So that happened, and then shortly after that
[30:27] Speaker 2: I had had Eric back. We had had a meeting
[30:31] Speaker 2: and we have another fella, new guy in the research
[30:35] Speaker 2: group who's really great, and we took him out there
[30:39] Speaker 2: and we were it was at night, and it was
[30:42] Speaker 2: on a ridge that we investigate a lot because we
[30:45] Speaker 2: see a lot of eyeshine and orbs and whatnot. Sweet
[30:50] Speaker 2: Home as infamous for orbs and UFO stuff. So we're
[30:57] Speaker 2: at this ridge and we're shying our flashlights up there
[31:01] Speaker 2: and we're seeing some stuff, you know, some little whatever
[31:04] Speaker 2: orbs and eye shine and stuff. And Eric sees a
[31:09] Speaker 2: sasquatch and he says, Michelle, look at that. And I
[31:12] Speaker 2: look over and I see something. But I couldn't tell
[31:14] Speaker 2: what it was. I couldn't even it was something. It
[31:17] Speaker 2: was just something that I saw and I couldn't explain it.
[31:21] Speaker 2: But Eric is like, no, it was I saw it.
[31:24] Speaker 2: It was sitting on the ledge and I shine my
[31:28] Speaker 2: flashlight up there and I could see eye shine or something.
[31:31] Speaker 2: And he said it stood up, and when it stood up,
[31:35] Speaker 2: he realized what it was. And it looked at us
[31:37] Speaker 2: for a second and it turned around and walked away.
[31:41] Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, wow, that's awesome, you know,
[31:43] Speaker 2: because this was the first time that Eric had seen
[31:46] Speaker 2: something out there, and here I've spent all summer having
[31:49] Speaker 2: all these experiences, and you know, this is Eric's first sighting,
[31:54] Speaker 2: so we were really excited about it. So him and
[31:57] Speaker 2: Tim start talking and they're talking about going down the
[32:01] Speaker 2: road and going behind the ridge to see if there's
[32:05] Speaker 2: a path or something that goes up there. So they
[32:09] Speaker 2: start walking away from the car and it's pitch dark
[32:12] Speaker 2: because I don't know if you've been in the Cascade
[32:15] Speaker 2: Mountains at night, there's absolutely no light pollution. Like you
[32:21] Speaker 2: couldn't even put your hand in front of your face
[32:23] Speaker 2: and see it. It's that dark. It's kind of like
[32:27] Speaker 2: you have a blindfold on. So I unfortunately my flashlight
[32:32] Speaker 2: batteries had ran out, and Eric and Tim I can't
[32:36] Speaker 2: remember if they both had a flashlight or if they
[32:38] Speaker 2: just had one, but they had their flashlights with them,
[32:41] Speaker 2: and they start walking away from the car and down
[32:44] Speaker 2: the road and they're doing this. I said, where are
[32:47] Speaker 2: you guys going? And they told me, and I said,
[32:49] Speaker 2: don't leave me here by myself in the dark. But
[32:52] Speaker 2: for some reason, I felt compelled to stay with the car.
[32:55] Speaker 2: I didn't want to go with them. So he's like,
[33:00] Speaker 2: don't know, we're just going down here, you know, to
[33:02] Speaker 2: see if there's a path. And I was like, okay,
[33:05] Speaker 2: So I'm watching them walk down the road and then
[33:07] Speaker 2: they turned that curve and all of a sudden, their
[33:10] Speaker 2: flashlights disappear, and instantly I was like, oh my god, no.
[33:17] Speaker 2: And right when that happened, I heard four big footsteps
[33:23] Speaker 2: right behind me. Boom boom, boom boom.
[33:29] Speaker 3: And I screamed. I said, Eric, it's behind me. And
[33:35] Speaker 3: I got hurright up and got my car. And I
[33:38] Speaker 3: was so flustered and like intimidated and spooked. I guess
[33:44] Speaker 3: startled that I couldn't figure out how to turn my
[33:47] Speaker 3: car on. And my car is a push to start,
[33:50] Speaker 3: you know, the keys are sitting right in the little
[33:52] Speaker 3: cubby where the drinks go. But I couldn't function, and
[33:58] Speaker 3: so I yelled out the windows. My windows are down,
[34:00] Speaker 3: and I yelled out the window. I said, it's right
[34:02] Speaker 3: behind the car. It's right behind me.
[34:04] Speaker 2: And so here comes Eric and the other fallen down
[34:07] Speaker 2: the road and they come down and they passed my car.
[34:11] Speaker 2: I get out and I walk behind him and I said,
[34:13] Speaker 2: it's about twenty feet behind my car. And we look
[34:16] Speaker 2: and again you can't see anything even with a flashlight.
[34:21] Speaker 2: I guess Eric's flashlight is kind of dim. You can't
[34:23] Speaker 2: really you know, you can't make out anything. There's just
[34:28] Speaker 2: a cliff there. So we hung out there for a
[34:32] Speaker 2: little while longer, and later on we ended up going
[34:35] Speaker 2: back to camp and camping for the night. And the
[34:38] Speaker 2: next day, I can't remember if it's the next day
[34:41] Speaker 2: or the day after, I took one of my other
[34:43] Speaker 2: research partners out there. He's really athletic guy, and he
[34:46] Speaker 2: can climb up and down the hills fairly easily and stuff.
[34:50] Speaker 2: So I took him out there and he was able
[34:52] Speaker 2: to get down that little ledge there onto the next ledge,
[34:57] Speaker 2: and he realized there was foot prints there, but they
[35:02] Speaker 2: were in like leafs and moss and all this other
[35:06] Speaker 2: really soft, mulchy kind of stuff, so all you could
[35:10] Speaker 2: see were like these big, kind of sort of deep impressions,
[35:14] Speaker 2: you know. And he gets down on the ledge and
[35:17] Speaker 2: he notices that there's this rock that's about I would say,
[35:23] Speaker 2: about five feet long, and it's probably about three feet high,
[35:28] Speaker 2: and it's got moss all over it, and on top
[35:33] Speaker 2: there's a perfect impression of a very large bottom, like
[35:39] Speaker 2: somebody was sitting on it, and somebody very large. But
[35:45] Speaker 2: so if you sat on it, and you looked out,
[35:49] Speaker 2: you could be able to see, if you were tall enough,
[35:52] Speaker 2: right over the road, and you would have the perfect
[35:56] Speaker 2: sight of where my car was parked. You'd be able
[35:59] Speaker 2: to see me my cars right there. And so instantly
[36:04] Speaker 2: I thought, whatever was on this ridge was able to
[36:10] Speaker 2: distract Eric and Tim and get their attention to move
[36:15] Speaker 2: them away from me and away from my car, while
[36:19] Speaker 2: this other creature was sitting there watching me. And the
[36:26] Speaker 2: minute it saw Eric's flashlight disappear around the curve, it
[36:31] Speaker 2: started to walk up behind me, and it scared me.
[36:36] Speaker 2: It terrified me. But then the more I thought about it,
[36:39] Speaker 2: the more I thought, if they wanted to hurt us,
[36:44] Speaker 2: then it would have happened already. There's been so many
[36:47] Speaker 2: opportunities for us, one of us to be injured or
[36:51] Speaker 2: even killed or something, but this doesn't happen. It didn't happen,
[36:56] Speaker 2: and it didn't happen that way. So I thought I
[36:59] Speaker 2: started thinking, well, maybe you know they want contact, or
[37:03] Speaker 2: maybe they're just juveniles messing around. So you know, so
[37:09] Speaker 2: many things that I think about when it comes to
[37:13] Speaker 2: these interactions that I'm having, And it kind of the
[37:17] Speaker 2: last interaction that I had was in November in this
[37:22] Speaker 2: research area. Because this research area is at a very
[37:25] Speaker 2: high elevation and it gets a lot of snow during
[37:28] Speaker 2: the winter. So I decided in November this winter I
[37:33] Speaker 2: had left sweet Home and went down south for the
[37:36] Speaker 2: winter where it was warm. I knew it would be nice.
[37:39] Speaker 2: And before I left, I had taken one of my
[37:43] Speaker 2: other research partners up there with me, and I had
[37:46] Speaker 2: decorated a tree to make it look like a Christmas tree,
[37:50] Speaker 2: and I left two baskets. I left a basket of
[37:53] Speaker 2: apples and pumpkins, and then I left a basket that
[37:57] Speaker 2: had little stuffed toys and balls in it for like kids,
[38:01] Speaker 2: you know. So I left them up there, and I
[38:05] Speaker 2: drew a picture. I drew a picture of me, and
[38:09] Speaker 2: then I drew a picture of a sasquatch standing right
[38:12] Speaker 2: next to me. And I thought it was cute and
[38:15] Speaker 2: it was wholesome and that when they saw it, if
[38:19] Speaker 2: they saw it, that they would understand, you know. So
[38:23] Speaker 2: I left that there in plastics so it wouldn't get damage.
[38:27] Speaker 2: And I just left everything there and I told him goodbye.
[38:30] Speaker 2: I was like, you know what I'm leaving for the winner.
[38:33] Speaker 2: I hope you have a wonderful winner, and I'll be
[38:36] Speaker 2: back in the spring, so see you later. And I
[38:42] Speaker 2: went home. And then the next day, me and my
[38:45] Speaker 2: research partner were going to go up another trail to
[38:48] Speaker 2: check on some structures that we had found earlier that summer.
[38:52] Speaker 2: We were going to check on those, and so I
[38:54] Speaker 2: went and picked her up. But on the way out,
[38:57] Speaker 2: I got this really intense kind of calling, like my
[39:02] Speaker 2: soul was telling me I need to go back up
[39:04] Speaker 2: to the mountain. So I told her and she was
[39:08] Speaker 2: okay with that. So we decided we're going to go
[39:11] Speaker 2: back up there, and we drove up to the mountain.
[39:13] Speaker 2: We drove up to the spot where I had left
[39:15] Speaker 2: the gifts and the Christmas tree, and as soon as
[39:19] Speaker 2: we got out of the car, I was hearing things
[39:23] Speaker 2: all over in the woods. And what it sounded like
[39:27] Speaker 2: to me was people moving. But I'm looking and I'm
[39:33] Speaker 2: not seeing anything, but I'm hearing this, and it wasn't consistent,
[39:38] Speaker 2: like it would be a little bit here and a
[39:39] Speaker 2: little bit there, and we hit a little bit here
[39:41] Speaker 2: and a little bit there, and so I just I
[39:45] Speaker 2: started filming and I'm filming all around, and I realized
[39:50] Speaker 2: that this intense calling that I had was for me
[39:56] Speaker 2: to come back because they were there now they were
[39:59] Speaker 2: going to say by, you know, so I kind of
[40:02] Speaker 2: had again. You know, it's metaphysical, it's paranormal, it's spiritual.
[40:07] Speaker 2: To me, it was just them calling me back up
[40:11] Speaker 2: to you know, Okay, we'll see you later. You know,
[40:14] Speaker 2: we appreciate the gifts and thank you, you know. And
[40:18] Speaker 2: so I left feeling really really good, and it kind
[40:24] Speaker 2: of put me in a different mindset now, like I'm
[40:29] Speaker 2: not as scared of them, I'm not as intimidated by
[40:33] Speaker 2: them anymore. So that was it. That was the end
[40:37] Speaker 2: of my summer, and I'm back. I just got back
[40:41] Speaker 2: from my trip. I went down to Louisiana, and I
[40:45] Speaker 2: went over to Tennessee and I did some squatching over
[40:48] Speaker 2: there and in Virginia, and I found some really beautiful,
[40:53] Speaker 2: enormous structures that were just you know, no human could
[40:58] Speaker 2: move a tree the size and they were amazing. And
[41:02] Speaker 2: then after that, I went up to Michigan to visit
[41:07] Speaker 2: some friends because I'm originally from Michigan, so I went
[41:11] Speaker 2: up there to visit my longtime childhood friends and then
[41:14] Speaker 2: we drove home and I got home about two weeks ago,
[41:19] Speaker 2: and that's it I got.
[41:22] Speaker 1: Wow, Michelle, you don't let any grass ground your feed dia, No,
[41:26] Speaker 1: not at all. Yeah, yeah, i'd say you don't. With
[41:32] Speaker 1: a lot of people, with a lot of experiencers, you
[41:36] Speaker 1: wonder why the sasquatch that they interact with chose to
[41:39] Speaker 1: interact with them. But with your personality being so great,
[41:43] Speaker 1: such an amazing personality you have, it's no wonder to me.
[41:49] Speaker 2: Well, thank you for that. I you know, I often
[41:52] Speaker 2: ask myself why me? And I think it started with
[41:57] Speaker 2: my dream when I was five, and I looking back
[42:00] Speaker 2: kind of I realized that whenever I needed protection or
[42:08] Speaker 2: a friend or a father figure or something like that,
[42:12] Speaker 2: the dreams wouldn't they would intensify in frequency. So I
[42:17] Speaker 2: really believe it's something that started before I could even
[42:23] Speaker 2: understand the concept of bigfoot, you know what I mean.
[42:26] Speaker 2: It's just it's a spiritual entity that's been with me
[42:30] Speaker 2: since the very beginning, if not before, you know, in
[42:35] Speaker 2: past lives. Who knows. I'm still exploring that.
[42:38] Speaker 1: Well, there's so much to explore. I'm sure you are,
[42:42] Speaker 1: and this is something you probably haven't thought about before.
[42:45] Speaker 1: But do you see it as an advantage to have
[42:49] Speaker 1: them in your corner, the way they seem.
[42:51] Speaker 2: To be I do, I do, you know, At first,
[42:56] Speaker 2: I was kind of unsure because I felt like, you know,
[43:00] Speaker 2: the Sasquatch community is, as everybody knows, very controversial, and
[43:08] Speaker 2: it was scary to me at first because I thought, Okay, now,
[43:12] Speaker 2: you know a lot of people, you either get it
[43:15] Speaker 2: and you're into it and you're with it, or you're
[43:20] Speaker 2: absolutely completely against it and you think everybody is crazy,
[43:24] Speaker 2: you know. But then I kind of decided that it
[43:29] Speaker 2: was my truth and I was going to go with
[43:33] Speaker 2: the flow and just let whatever happened happen and not
[43:40] Speaker 2: shy away from it or you know, deflect it anymore,
[43:43] Speaker 2: because in a way I was for a long time,
[43:45] Speaker 2: I was deflecting it like it didn't mean anything. It
[43:48] Speaker 2: wasn't you know, It's just something that happened. It was
[43:51] Speaker 2: just a dream, you know. And now, especially you know,
[43:56] Speaker 2: with all the experiences and stuff, I do find it,
[43:59] Speaker 2: as you know, it is a virtue because within the community.
[44:05] Speaker 2: I would hope that there's other people who are also
[44:09] Speaker 2: being called in their dreams, you know. I know, like
[44:14] Speaker 2: Matt Napp, he has had dreams of Sasquatch when he
[44:18] Speaker 2: was a child, and that's one of the ways that
[44:21] Speaker 2: we bonded, you know. And I hope so much that
[44:27] Speaker 2: more people will will hear my story and they'll start
[44:31] Speaker 2: talking about it, and they'll want to reach out to
[44:34] Speaker 2: people in the community, especially people who have had those experiences,
[44:39] Speaker 2: because really, you know, we're stronger as a group.
[44:43] Speaker 1: Oh definitely, it's just a shame we don't work together
[44:46] Speaker 1: anymore than what we do normally. And speaking of that,
[44:50] Speaker 1: due to how a cerbic, so many people in the
[44:52] Speaker 1: big community are. How concerned are you about revealing info
[44:57] Speaker 1: that might lead to one of the Sasquatch you interact
[45:00] Speaker 1: with being hurt or bothered.
[45:05] Speaker 2: Yeah, that's one of the things that I do really
[45:07] Speaker 2: worry about a lot. And I I try to make
[45:11] Speaker 2: my boundaries very very clear within the community and outside
[45:18] Speaker 2: of the community, because I you know, I let them
[45:21] Speaker 2: know that this is it's not a joke, it's not funny,
[45:27] Speaker 2: and it's not something that you want to mess with,
[45:32] Speaker 2: so to speak. You know, it's like, this is I'm
[45:36] Speaker 2: extremely protective over them and my research area, and I'm
[45:42] Speaker 2: not afraid to let people know that. And I think,
[45:45] Speaker 2: I really do think that, especially within the community, that
[45:48] Speaker 2: people respect that, and outside the community, I think that
[45:53] Speaker 2: they just think I'm crazy and they try to stay
[45:56] Speaker 2: away from me anyways.
[45:57] Speaker 1: So you know, come on now, far from crazy, Far
[46:03] Speaker 1: from it. Yeah, Because of all the success that you've
[46:07] Speaker 1: had and continue to have interacting with sasquatch and you've
[46:11] Speaker 1: put it out there, do you at least occasionally have
[46:15] Speaker 1: people coming at you in a bitter way because they
[46:20] Speaker 1: want you to take them out but you won't, or
[46:22] Speaker 1: they want you to reveal things that you won't about
[46:26] Speaker 1: the sasquatch that you interact with.
[46:30] Speaker 2: Sometimes I sometimes feel like, because I am very supportive
[46:39] Speaker 2: with people in the community, I feel like maybe sometimes
[46:44] Speaker 2: they're not as supportive with me. But I feel also like,
[46:51] Speaker 2: you know, I try not to set my expectations too
[46:54] Speaker 2: high because when you do that, you have a tendency
[46:57] Speaker 2: to be let down a lot. You know, if you
[47:00] Speaker 2: set your expectations too high and it doesn't happen the
[47:03] Speaker 2: way that you want it to happen, then it just
[47:05] Speaker 2: makes you feel bad. And so I try not to
[47:08] Speaker 2: do that with people. I've never gotten any like downright
[47:13] Speaker 2: aggression or anything from anybody. I sometimes feel like there's
[47:18] Speaker 2: a little bit of competition but also at the same time,
[47:22] Speaker 2: I feel like I would hope that I inspire other
[47:27] Speaker 2: people within the community to go out and to create
[47:33] Speaker 2: their own groups and to you know, write a book
[47:36] Speaker 2: and to tell about their stories and stuff. So I
[47:41] Speaker 2: try to flip it and make it a positive thing,
[47:44] Speaker 2: like maybe a little bit of jealousy or something. But no,
[47:50] Speaker 2: I would hope that that everybody is, you know, rooting
[47:54] Speaker 2: for me, because I'm rooting for them.
[47:57] Speaker 1: You know, what a great person. I'm really impressed.
[48:01] Speaker 2: I really am thank you, Oh.
[48:04] Speaker 1: You're welcome, and just telling them like it is from
[48:08] Speaker 1: what I understand. Michelle, You're going to be publishing a
[48:11] Speaker 1: book soon. Please plug it now as shamelessly as you can.
[48:17] Speaker 2: Well, I have written the book and it's been published
[48:23] Speaker 2: and right now it is available on Amazon and also
[48:27] Speaker 2: but I have to mention, I have copies, and so
[48:31] Speaker 2: I'm trying to make the rounds with the festivals and
[48:35] Speaker 2: the libraries and bookstores and stuff and sell them and
[48:42] Speaker 2: do signings and stuff. Because it's self published. But it
[48:48] Speaker 2: is called The Dream Guardian Sasquatch and the Path to Awakening,
[48:54] Speaker 2: and it's all about everything from the very beginning of
[48:59] Speaker 2: my dream and all my experiences and my thoughts about
[49:03] Speaker 2: Sasquatch and what it means and what it means to
[49:07] Speaker 2: have these relationships with them and whatnot. So, and that
[49:11] Speaker 2: is it's out and I'm pushing it, and I have
[49:15] Speaker 2: copies and I will send them out in the mail so.
[49:20] Speaker 1: That everyone listening knows. I'm going to post a link
[49:22] Speaker 1: to that book in the description for tonight's show. That'll
[49:26] Speaker 1: make it really easy to find. You're also going to
[49:29] Speaker 1: be a guest on another podcast soon. Please expand on
[49:33] Speaker 1: that for us.
[49:35] Speaker 2: Yeah. So, actually I was a guest on Bigfoot Crossroads
[49:40] Speaker 2: a while back, and that was when I first met
[49:44] Speaker 2: Matt Napp, And like I said, I mentioned him and
[49:48] Speaker 2: I have similar experiences, starting with the dreams when we
[49:52] Speaker 2: were kids, and we have a terrific banter. And so
[49:58] Speaker 2: we are working on some things within the Bigfoot Crossroads
[50:04] Speaker 2: realm that are going to be new and exciting. Yeah.
[50:10] Speaker 2: So I'm really excited about that, and I'm excited to
[50:13] Speaker 2: work with Matt in a professional way. He's a great friend.
[50:17] Speaker 2: But I feel like the things that we're going to
[50:20] Speaker 2: come up with are going to be really neat, you know,
[50:23] Speaker 2: and special.
[50:25] Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure they will be special And yeah, for
[50:28] Speaker 1: anyone listening who doesn't know about Matt's podcast again, it's
[50:31] Speaker 1: called Bigfoot Crossroads Radio. That's basically my go to when
[50:36] Speaker 1: I can't sleep. I like to put that on and
[50:38] Speaker 1: just listen to it. It's just a really good podcast.
[50:41] Speaker 1: If you haven't listened to it, I really hope you will.
[50:45] Speaker 1: But having said that, it's a lot of work to
[50:48] Speaker 1: do what you do, going out interacting with him, doing
[50:51] Speaker 1: the things where maybe you're not interacting with them directly,
[50:55] Speaker 1: but you're doing things like decorating that tree up with
[50:59] Speaker 1: that observation spot to look like a Christmas tree, and
[51:03] Speaker 1: to leave the things for them that you did doing
[51:06] Speaker 1: all the things that you do. Michelle, that's a lot
[51:08] Speaker 1: of Workluck, I said, what's the main reason behind why
[51:11] Speaker 1: you do all the things you do that are Sasquatch related?
[51:17] Speaker 2: I love them, I wholeheartedly, deeply love them, and I
[51:24] Speaker 2: want them to know that and everything that I do
[51:29] Speaker 2: out there is done with love and appreciation because I'm
[51:35] Speaker 2: trying not to cry. After realizing the importance that they
[51:42] Speaker 2: played in my life when I was a child, I
[51:47] Speaker 2: feel like I owe it to them to show my
[51:51] Speaker 2: gratitude and to do everything I can to not just
[51:59] Speaker 2: protect them, protect their locations and things like that, but
[52:03] Speaker 2: really give them honor, you know, because they are real
[52:08] Speaker 2: and we're spiritually connected, and they I think their role
[52:15] Speaker 2: in humanity is much larger than anybody could probably ever imagine,
[52:22] Speaker 2: at least to me. They are, you know, and if
[52:26] Speaker 2: something could affect somebody like that so deeply, it's not
[52:32] Speaker 2: work to me, it's love. I'm just showing them love.
[52:36] Speaker 1: Well, like I said, it's awfully impressive how you conduct
[52:39] Speaker 1: yourself and all the things that you do. I'm really impressed.
[52:44] Speaker 1: What more can you tell us about your Facebook group,
[52:46] Speaker 1: sweet Home Sasquatch.
[52:49] Speaker 2: Yeah, so, Sweet Home Sasquatch is really fun. The reason
[52:53] Speaker 2: why I made the group in the beginning was because
[52:57] Speaker 2: when I had first moved to Sweet Home about six
[53:00] Speaker 2: years ago, I had bigfoot stickers all over my car
[53:05] Speaker 2: and I would literally go to the grocery store and
[53:09] Speaker 2: I would come out of the grocery store and there
[53:13] Speaker 2: would be somebody, a man usually standing next to my
[53:16] Speaker 2: car waiting for me to arrive so they could tell
[53:20] Speaker 2: me their bigfoot story. And most of these people are
[53:24] Speaker 2: you know, their local hunters, fishers, sportsmen, loggers, wildland firefighters,
[53:32] Speaker 2: police officers. They come out and they want to tell
[53:36] Speaker 2: me their stories about these specific places and locations in
[53:41] Speaker 2: the area, but they don't want to be known. They
[53:44] Speaker 2: don't want anybody to know that they're involved. And so
[53:49] Speaker 2: I started the group as kind of like a place
[53:52] Speaker 2: where they could anonymously talk to each other, because it
[53:57] Speaker 2: was really obvious to me that they needed to talk
[54:01] Speaker 2: to somebody, but they didn't have that person, you know.
[54:05] Speaker 2: And another thing too, is so many people who are
[54:09] Speaker 2: not enthusiasts will have interactions with them and they will
[54:14] Speaker 2: suffer from it. They'll get depression anxiety, some of them
[54:18] Speaker 2: even get PTSD. So I created Sweet Home Sasquatch as
[54:25] Speaker 2: like a place where we could talk about it, you know,
[54:30] Speaker 2: and then I personally would follow up on these locations
[54:35] Speaker 2: and these events that would happen. So it really it
[54:39] Speaker 2: benefits everybody. It benefited me. It benefits these you know,
[54:43] Speaker 2: people who have stories and these people who need to
[54:48] Speaker 2: talk about it. So the group has grown, which is awesome.
[54:54] Speaker 2: I bet every single person who comes into the group,
[54:58] Speaker 2: so you can bet that if you you request to
[55:01] Speaker 2: be in the group, I'm going to find out who
[55:03] Speaker 2: you are, why you want to be there. We do
[55:07] Speaker 2: not allow trolling whatsoever. The first minute somebody starts, you know,
[55:12] Speaker 2: giving that kind of vibe, or even just arguing with
[55:17] Speaker 2: people within the group. We don't need to argue our
[55:19] Speaker 2: opinions with This is not debate, you know, this is conversation.
[55:24] Speaker 2: So yeah, I'm really particular about the people who come
[55:27] Speaker 2: into the group. I'm not looking for quantity, I'm looking
[55:31] Speaker 2: for quality. I do want to mention the Sasquatch Highway.
[55:36] Speaker 2: That is one of the groups. I'm the main admin
[55:40] Speaker 2: for that group, and that is a fun group. So
[55:44] Speaker 2: for people who just want to, you know, come in
[55:47] Speaker 2: and watch the videos and see the memes and casually
[55:53] Speaker 2: socialize with other enthusiasts, Sasquatch Highway is the place to go.
[55:57] Speaker 2: They have like one hundred thousand members and it's just fun.
[56:01] Speaker 2: It's really fun. But the Sweet Home Sasquatch group is
[56:05] Speaker 2: really for a more I don't know if you want.
[56:08] Speaker 2: I don't want to stay mature because I don't want
[56:10] Speaker 2: to offend anybody, but it's a different kind of vibe.
[56:14] Speaker 1: I'm already a member of the Sasquatch high Way. Yeah,
[56:17] Speaker 1: that is my good to Sasquatch group. It is a
[56:19] Speaker 1: great place, but I'd already planned to post a link
[56:22] Speaker 1: to that in the description for tonight's show, but would
[56:25] Speaker 1: be okay if I'll posted a link to your group
[56:27] Speaker 1: as well.
[56:29] Speaker 2: Absolutely, anybody is welcome, more than welcome to join the
[56:33] Speaker 2: Sweet Home Sasquatch group. But as I said, you will
[56:38] Speaker 2: be vetted, and you know, if you're not there for
[56:41] Speaker 2: the right reasons, you won't be allowed to come in.
[56:45] Speaker 2: So yeah, but if you, if you love and respect
[56:49] Speaker 2: Sasquatch as much as I do, then please please join us.
[56:54] Speaker 1: It sounds like a great group. I don't know why
[56:56] Speaker 1: I never heard of it before, but rest assured, I'm
[56:59] Speaker 1: gonna definitely investigate it and i'll see. If I can't
[57:02] Speaker 1: join it.
[57:03] Speaker 2: Then absolutely you're more than welcome to it.
[57:07] Speaker 1: Oh, I'd love to do that, I really would. But
[57:10] Speaker 1: having said that, I can't thank you enough for coming
[57:12] Speaker 1: on to share the details of those experiences with us.
[57:15] Speaker 1: I really appreciate it.
[57:17] Speaker 2: Thank you so much for having me. It's been a pleasure.
[57:20] Speaker 1: Oh, it's been fun, it really has. And please remember
[57:23] Speaker 1: if I can never help you out in the future,
[57:25] Speaker 1: let me know and I'll be there for you absolutely.
[57:30] Speaker 1: All right, Well, thanks again, so much and have a
[57:33] Speaker 1: great night.
[57:40] Speaker 4: That's it for another episode of Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio with
[57:44] Speaker 4: Vic Kundiff. If you've had a sasquatch encounter and would
[57:48] Speaker 4: like to be a guest on the show, please go
[57:50] Speaker 4: to Bigfoot eyewitness dot com and submit a report. We'd
[57:54] Speaker 4: love to hear from you. Thanks for listening, have a
[57:58] Speaker 4: great night.
