## Transcript

[0:01] Speaker 1: My name is Jim Powell. I am the host of
[0:05] Speaker 1: the podcast that you can find on YouTube called The
[0:08] Speaker 1: Night's Watch. You can find me on YouTube and if
[0:13] Speaker 1: you're having problems finding me, you can put in my
[0:16] Speaker 1: old handle name, which is a fisher of spam and
[0:21] Speaker 1: that should pull me up. But anyways, yeah, so my
[0:25] Speaker 1: goal there is basically to tell all the experiences that
[0:30] Speaker 1: I've had, you know, chronologically, for prosperity's sake, and also
[0:37] Speaker 1: to help people if I can. You know, that's that's
[0:41] Speaker 1: kind of my goal because when I had all of
[0:44] Speaker 1: my experiences, you know, I felt very alone, very alone,
[0:50] Speaker 1: and I wish I had more people to try to
[0:53] Speaker 1: talk sense into me and kind of bring me back
[0:56] Speaker 1: from the brink because it was a it's a very
[0:59] Speaker 1: harrowing thing, you know. But I mean things are great now,
[1:02] Speaker 1: so no worries there. But you know, I took care
[1:04] Speaker 1: of all that and then now basically I interview people
[1:07] Speaker 1: that I'm sure plenty of y'all out there in the
[1:11] Speaker 1: audio lands have heard, and sometimes I'll go over cases,
[1:17] Speaker 1: sometimes I'll redo things, you know. I remember one of
[1:22] Speaker 1: the interesting things from the internet years ago was like
[1:25] Speaker 1: the Lisertophiles, you know, I redid that and gave oh
[1:32] Speaker 1: A serta real good AI voice recording that had really
[1:37] Speaker 1: good inflection because I was taught how to script right
[1:41] Speaker 1: and it turns out when you do that with AI,
[1:43] Speaker 1: you can make it sound pretty good. So stuff like that.
[1:47] Speaker 1: I also go out into the field. So I just
[1:51] Speaker 1: released my first field research documentary. It's called Enigma in
[1:55] Speaker 1: the Smokies. It takes place in smoking Mountain National floors
[2:00] Speaker 1: and needs to say, we're going to actually go over
[2:03] Speaker 1: some of that today, and it's really cool watch, you know.
[2:06] Speaker 1: I mean, I kind of go out there gorilla style
[2:10] Speaker 1: with pretty much my cell phone, used GoPro and a
[2:17] Speaker 1: cheap pair of lab mics and catch some pretty cool stuff,
[2:21] Speaker 1: you know, and then let's see here. Outside of that,
[2:25] Speaker 1: I'm also a cameraman for a little company called Relic
[2:30] Speaker 1: Films that pretty much does the same thing, only with
[2:33] Speaker 1: instead of me working with like a one hundred dollars
[2:36] Speaker 1: budget of you know gear, essentially, you know, my camera
[2:40] Speaker 1: alone when I'm out there is twenty plus thousand dollars.
[2:44] Speaker 1: So at Relic we make some really cool stuff and
[2:48] Speaker 1: get into all kinds of hijinks and fun things. And
[2:51] Speaker 1: you can check them out on Patreon. But yeah, so
[2:57] Speaker 1: that's kind of me and what I do. So as
[3:02] Speaker 1: far as my Bigfoot experiences go, you know, I'll say
[3:07] Speaker 1: that with me, I had one experience that happened to
[3:17] Speaker 1: me when I was seventeen and now I'm thirty seven,
[3:23] Speaker 1: so ages ago. And to be fair, if that was
[3:29] Speaker 1: my only experience that I would have had throughout my life,
[3:34] Speaker 1: that would have been enough. You know, it would have
[3:36] Speaker 1: been more than most people. However, you know, a bit
[3:41] Speaker 1: of my background is that I'm really curious about this
[3:46] Speaker 1: stuff and I've always just been fascinated by it, like
[3:49] Speaker 1: my whole life, to the point where, you know, a
[3:53] Speaker 1: few years down the road from that, back in twenty fourteen,
[3:57] Speaker 1: you know, I kind of messed up and found out
[4:02] Speaker 1: some information about a little thing called CE five, and
[4:08] Speaker 1: that put me basically on the road to having a
[4:14] Speaker 1: truck ton of experiences about way too many things. You know.
[4:19] Speaker 1: It starts off with essentially like an alien visiting me
[4:24] Speaker 1: in my driveway, and you know, and it goes on
[4:29] Speaker 1: from there for multiple years, you know, off Shadow figures, Bigfoot,
[4:34] Speaker 1: dog Man like, it runs the gambit, and I feel
[4:38] Speaker 1: like the amount of things that I've seen in experience.
[4:41] Speaker 1: At this point, I feel like I should have been
[4:43] Speaker 1: struck by lightning. You know. It's a little bit unlucky,
[4:48] Speaker 1: a little bit unlucky, but you know, in the end,
[4:52] Speaker 1: it did make me a much better persons and you know,
[4:55] Speaker 1: I grew from it a lot. And you know, now
[5:00] Speaker 1: because of all that, I try my best to help people.
[5:04] Speaker 1: So but with that being said, tonight we're gonna go
[5:08] Speaker 1: over some bigfoot stuff and hopefully I can make it
[5:12] Speaker 1: interesting for everybody. So the first one, now, typically speaking,
[5:20] Speaker 1: this is the story that I tell for comedic relief,
[5:24] Speaker 1: and it's a kind of that's kind of interesting, you know,
[5:31] Speaker 1: But I'll let you make the judgment call on that there, Vic.
[5:34] Speaker 1: But so essentially, one night when I was seventeen, all right,
[5:41] Speaker 1: young and dumb, running and gunn and and my dooporther
[5:45] Speaker 1: and I were on our way back from an illicit
[5:51] Speaker 1: run to get stuff, you could say, and it was
[5:56] Speaker 1: very late at night. We had not partaken in anything
[6:00] Speaker 1: yet and on our way back home, he has to
[6:07] Speaker 1: stop and go to the bathroom. Now this kind of
[6:13] Speaker 1: upsets me because I'm like, bro, We're ten miles away
[6:18] Speaker 1: from the house, Like, why are you going to endanger
[6:21] Speaker 1: the mission, like seriously, you know, He's like, dude, I
[6:24] Speaker 1: can't hold it. I'm like, okay, okay, you know, and
[6:27] Speaker 1: I'm thinking to myself, you know what, we're in the
[6:29] Speaker 1: middle of desolation. You know, it shouldn't be an issue.
[6:34] Speaker 1: But the problem is is we're fixing to go over
[6:39] Speaker 1: this bridge that's out here in the back backwoods of Fife, Alabama,
[6:44] Speaker 1: where I live, right, and its name is Methene's Bridge. Now,
[6:50] Speaker 1: I'll say that this bridge in the area around it
[6:55] Speaker 1: has a very long history of the paranormal. Now, granted,
[7:01] Speaker 1: plenty of bridges across the entire continental United States and
[7:05] Speaker 1: probably the world have probably the same thing going for it, right,
[7:09] Speaker 1: I'm sure, But now this bridge, it does have reported
[7:18] Speaker 1: bigfoot activity that goes all the way back to the
[7:22] Speaker 1: eighteen fifties. So there's that. There's like a ghost girl,
[7:28] Speaker 1: a ghost wolf, there's a goat man. There's all kinds
[7:33] Speaker 1: of stuff basically that goes on with it, and you know,
[7:36] Speaker 1: it's one of those things that teenagers go and do
[7:40] Speaker 1: crazy hygiens at anyways, just like other bridges, I'm sure,
[7:44] Speaker 1: but we're facing to go over this thing. So I'm like,
[7:48] Speaker 1: all right, I pull over. He gets out, he walks
[7:53] Speaker 1: to the back of the car and starts propping up
[7:56] Speaker 1: against it and let's are loose now. At this time,
[8:02] Speaker 1: I was kind of mean and wanted to mess with
[8:05] Speaker 1: him a little bit. So as he's going, I start
[8:09] Speaker 1: tapping my brakes and it upsets him. He's over there, quitted, dude.
[8:17] Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, don't worry about it. Ain't nobody gonna
[8:19] Speaker 1: see anything anyways. Brother, It's all good. Just to keep
[8:22] Speaker 1: on a going. And I'm just keeping on hammering on
[8:25] Speaker 1: those tail lights, just lighting them up, you know. I'm
[8:28] Speaker 1: having a good laugh about it. As he's over there,
[8:30] Speaker 1: quick come on, you know, and all of a sudden
[8:35] Speaker 1: he starts screaming bloody murder. I'm like, what in the
[8:41] Speaker 1: world is going on? You know. I turn and look
[8:44] Speaker 1: and he's like frog hoping kind of sideways and stuff
[8:47] Speaker 1: and trying to get himself adjusted. As he runs back
[8:50] Speaker 1: into the car, and he's just screaming his head off.
[8:55] Speaker 2: And he jumps into the car. Hey's screaming, He's go go.
[9:01] Speaker 2: I'm like, oh my god, what is wrong with you?
[9:05] Speaker 2: You psycho?
[9:07] Speaker 1: He's like, just go. You know, he's grabbing my hand
[9:10] Speaker 1: trying to get me to put the car in gear.
[9:11] Speaker 1: I'm just like, okay, okay, okay, we'll go. We'll go.
[9:16] Speaker 1: So we start going and he's still screaming. I'm like,
[9:20] Speaker 1: what's the problem. We're going and he's just losing his
[9:23] Speaker 1: mind over there. I'm like, dude, what in the world
[9:29] Speaker 1: is wrong with you? He looks at me. He's like
[9:32] Speaker 1: two things. Bro. One, I've zipped myself up and I'm
[9:37] Speaker 1: bleeding everywhere. And I look over and Lord bless his heart,
[9:42] Speaker 1: he's he's bleeding pretty good. He's staying in front of
[9:46] Speaker 1: his pants pretty hard. And I'm just like, oh, no, okay,
[9:55] Speaker 1: what's number Two. It was like, around the second or
[9:59] Speaker 1: third time that you hit the brake lights, I noticed
[10:04] Speaker 1: that there was something standing in front of me. I'm
[10:07] Speaker 1: like what. He's like, yeah, man, this thing was huge.
[10:12] Speaker 1: I'm like, well, describe it to me. He's like, well,
[10:16] Speaker 1: I mean this thing was like way taller than me,
[10:20] Speaker 1: way wider than me. And when you put on the brakes,
[10:24] Speaker 1: I'm just basically seeing the silhouette, you know, but it's
[10:27] Speaker 1: like ten feet away from me, and each time you
[10:30] Speaker 1: hit the brake lights, it lights its eyes up red.
[10:35] Speaker 1: I'm like, oh my gosh. Really He's like, yeah, man,
[10:40] Speaker 1: I'm like, what was it? And originally he's from Michigan,
[10:45] Speaker 1: so for him, he says it was Sam Squatch. I'm like, oh, okay, Bigfoot.
[10:52] Speaker 1: He's like yeah, man, and then he gets all bent
[10:56] Speaker 1: up and out of shape at me. He's like, dude,
[10:58] Speaker 1: you're a terrible friend. I'm a terrible friend. Were talked
[11:01] Speaker 1: about for all, you know, I just saved your life.
[11:06] Speaker 1: I was like, bro, Bigfoot could have reached out at
[11:10] Speaker 1: any time and grabbed you by the handle, and you
[11:12] Speaker 1: might be a eunuch right now. So I'm actually the
[11:16] Speaker 1: best friend in the world to you and saved you.
[11:19] Speaker 1: So you're welcome. So yeah, that's the funny Bigfoot story
[11:26] Speaker 1: that that's the one that should have basically ended everything
[11:31] Speaker 1: for me, you know, if things went according to normal.
[11:36] Speaker 1: But anyway, so after that, there's not much in the
[11:44] Speaker 1: way of Bigfoot for many a year after that, I
[11:50] Speaker 1: have one strange encounter that I'm not sure if it
[11:56] Speaker 1: was Bigfoot or if it was dog Man, just because
[12:00] Speaker 1: of the history of what happened or what has happened,
[12:04] Speaker 1: I would say on my family's land. But nonetheless, if
[12:11] Speaker 1: you remember last year, we had like this big o'
[12:14] Speaker 1: eclipse that happened right and the Thursday before I had
[12:22] Speaker 1: some crazy UFO stuff happened. You know. Even my sister,
[12:27] Speaker 1: who was living with my parents, who are my next
[12:29] Speaker 1: door neighbors at the time, you know, told me about
[12:32] Speaker 1: like way early in the morning, like a metal door
[12:34] Speaker 1: slamming and waking her up. And of course that's setting
[12:37] Speaker 1: off like alarm bells for me. And I actually go
[12:43] Speaker 1: out there take a picture through my weldinghood because I
[12:46] Speaker 1: am a welder and I have all that stuff at
[12:48] Speaker 1: home too. I take a picture of UFOs right by
[12:51] Speaker 1: the eclipse that's happening, and so there was all that
[12:57] Speaker 1: weird stuff going on on the property. But now on
[13:01] Speaker 1: the Sunday after that happened, because I believe that happened
[13:06] Speaker 1: on a Friday, But the Sunday after it happened, we
[13:11] Speaker 1: were having a family dinner, and after everything was all
[13:16] Speaker 1: said and done, we go outside to the backyard and
[13:21] Speaker 1: I start a little fire and we're just kind of
[13:24] Speaker 1: hanging out. And then once the family decides to leave,
[13:29] Speaker 1: you know, the wife and kid and everybody goes in,
[13:31] Speaker 1: and I'm just like, you know what, I've still got
[13:33] Speaker 1: some firewood left. I kind of don't want to waste it,
[13:36] Speaker 1: so I'm going to hang out here. You guys have
[13:38] Speaker 1: on bye. I love you. And as I'm hanging out,
[13:44] Speaker 1: I start to hear a noise and from my perspective,
[13:50] Speaker 1: it sounds like a giant stomp that's happening out in
[13:54] Speaker 1: the woods. Like that's weird, but you know, I'm rashalizing
[14:00] Speaker 1: it to myself. I'm like, well, okay, it's that can
[14:03] Speaker 1: be a distress signal for deer. You know, they'll they'll
[14:06] Speaker 1: do that to warn of predators or whatever. Plus you know,
[14:11] Speaker 1: the other neighbor on the other side, he's got cows.
[14:15] Speaker 1: Like maybe cow could do that, you know, because it
[14:19] Speaker 1: sounds like a fairly good way is a way, but
[14:23] Speaker 1: yet it's loud enough for me to hear and powerful
[14:28] Speaker 1: enough for me to feel. But I'm like, Okay, it's
[14:32] Speaker 1: just probably nothing. And then it happens again. This time
[14:36] Speaker 1: it's closer, you know, and I'm still rationalizing cow dear nothing. Yeah,
[14:43] Speaker 1: weird stuff happened the other day, don't think about it,
[14:46] Speaker 1: has nothing to do with something perfectly natural that's happening
[14:50] Speaker 1: out there. And that happens again, and this time it's closer,
[14:56] Speaker 1: and I'm just like, okay, I think that things are
[15:05] Speaker 1: starting to get a little real, because, like I mean,
[15:10] Speaker 1: it's like the t Rex in Jurassic Park when it
[15:13] Speaker 1: takes that step and the ripples go across the water, right,
[15:17] Speaker 1: because I feel it each and every time, and it's
[15:21] Speaker 1: getting louder and louder and louder. And then the last
[15:28] Speaker 1: time it does it, it sounds like it's coming from
[15:35] Speaker 1: the brush pile that's right to the lood of where
[15:39] Speaker 1: I'm sitting in my backyard, you know, and that's thirty
[15:46] Speaker 1: feet away from me. And this is when I stand up.
[15:50] Speaker 1: I'm like, and I start talking out loud. I'm like,
[15:53] Speaker 1: all right, all right, I don't know what's going on
[15:57] Speaker 1: over there, but I need you to chill. I'm not
[16:00] Speaker 1: playing this game today. And it was just the eeriest
[16:08] Speaker 1: thing because as soon as I said that, you got
[16:11] Speaker 1: to understand that in that brush pile, that brush pile
[16:14] Speaker 1: is created from where the wife and I had built
[16:18] Speaker 1: our own house, so there's wood and scraps of tin
[16:21] Speaker 1: and all that stuff in there. But as soon as
[16:24] Speaker 1: I get up and say that, all of a sudden,
[16:29] Speaker 1: you hear fingernails begin to scratch the tin and just
[16:34] Speaker 1: the most eerily possible way ever, it just just over
[16:42] Speaker 1: and over, like oh, I'm not stopping, and I'm just like,
[16:46] Speaker 1: oh God, here we go now. Also to understand is,
[16:53] Speaker 1: you know, like, after all the experiences that I've had
[16:58] Speaker 1: before all this happened, I've kind of got like a
[17:02] Speaker 1: special touch of PTSD at this point, and instead of
[17:08] Speaker 1: running away, I get angry and ready to fight, you know,
[17:14] Speaker 1: since I was able to kind of conquer all that
[17:15] Speaker 1: stuff that happened to me, now my automatic reaction is
[17:19] Speaker 1: to fight. And this is so dumb. I jump into
[17:28] Speaker 1: the side by side that I had parked next to me,
[17:31] Speaker 1: you know, I crank it, turn on all the lights,
[17:33] Speaker 1: all the big you know, bar lights and everything, and
[17:37] Speaker 1: I go right up to that rush pile and I'm
[17:42] Speaker 1: pointing right at it. And I'm not prepared to do anything,
[17:47] Speaker 1: Like I don't have a gun on me. I've only
[17:49] Speaker 1: got a machete that I was using to like get
[17:52] Speaker 1: some kindling off of the firewood to get it started,
[17:56] Speaker 1: you know. And I'm like hanging out of the side
[17:59] Speaker 1: by side holding the machete, screaming at this thing like
[18:03] Speaker 1: Zach Baggins or something like come at me, bro, come
[18:05] Speaker 1: at me, come on. You know. It was so dumb,
[18:12] Speaker 1: you know, but I was. I was just ready. You know,
[18:16] Speaker 1: it's fight or flight, and I'm in fight and I'm not.
[18:21] Speaker 1: I'm not having anything else, you know. Common sense is
[18:25] Speaker 1: not creeping into the situation yet. And I'm a Christian,
[18:30] Speaker 1: So while I'm taunting whatever this is, I'm also praying. Yeah,
[18:36] Speaker 1: and I kind of get like the overwhelming feeling, you know,
[18:39] Speaker 1: from the Holy Spirit, and it's just kind of like, hey, hey,
[18:44] Speaker 1: let's chill out just a little bit. You know, like
[18:49] Speaker 1: if you go past your property line, it might get
[18:53] Speaker 1: a little bit bad for you. You just need to
[18:56] Speaker 1: stay where you're at and just chill out, you know.
[19:00] Speaker 1: And I'm like in my head, like, are you sure
[19:03] Speaker 1: I think I got this? Granted, I don't know what
[19:06] Speaker 1: my plan is. Probably just to ram the side by
[19:09] Speaker 1: side out or you know, ran this thing with the
[19:12] Speaker 1: side by side jump out and go Stavvy Staddy with
[19:15] Speaker 1: a machete. Not gonna work out very well for me,
[19:19] Speaker 1: But I guess that's what's going through my head. But
[19:22] Speaker 1: you know, after all that, I'm just like, you know what,
[19:24] Speaker 1: You're right, just chill out, just go inside and everything
[19:30] Speaker 1: will be okay. And everything was okay. I turned around
[19:38] Speaker 1: and park the side by side and went in the house,
[19:41] Speaker 1: and I was just told them what happened. They're like what.
[19:44] Speaker 1: I'm like, yeah, probably don't go outside right now. It's
[19:48] Speaker 1: little Harry out there hunt intended. They're like, oh my god. Okay.
[19:54] Speaker 1: So basically I just grumble and growl and go lay
[19:58] Speaker 1: down and just decide to go to bed and get
[20:00] Speaker 1: up for work the next morning. So that's a little
[20:05] Speaker 1: bit of a preview about how I kind of come
[20:10] Speaker 1: about things when when danger decides to present itself and
[20:14] Speaker 1: be confrontational, you know, normally it doesn't go that way,
[20:20] Speaker 1: you know, but what it does, I'm ready. Like I said,
[20:24] Speaker 1: I'm a little special with that sometimes, so sorry. But anyways,
[20:32] Speaker 1: you know, like with that situation, I did not get
[20:37] Speaker 1: eyes on it. I don't know what it was. I
[20:44] Speaker 1: do know that it was not the cow because there's
[20:47] Speaker 1: you know, a fence in between us, plus I don't know,
[20:52] Speaker 1: one hundred yards or better between me and the neighbor,
[20:55] Speaker 1: plus the woods. Like i'd hear a cow coming without
[20:59] Speaker 1: an issue. A deer, yeah, I mean, deer could come up,
[21:04] Speaker 1: but once I start talking to whatever that thing is,
[21:09] Speaker 1: I don't see a deer rubbing its antler on tin
[21:13] Speaker 1: in a brush pile. I mean, that seems it seems
[21:16] Speaker 1: just a little bit too much intelligence for such a critter,
[21:21] Speaker 1: you know, bigfoot dog man. Don't know there has been
[21:27] Speaker 1: dog man that's been sighted before on our property. But
[21:34] Speaker 1: you know, without getting the visual on that thing, you know,
[21:38] Speaker 1: it's kind of a mystery other than just being a
[21:42] Speaker 1: big nuisance that I was just ready to try to
[21:45] Speaker 1: throw hands at. But anyways, so moving on down, I
[21:55] Speaker 1: guess what I'll do is I'll get into a little
[21:57] Speaker 1: bit of the bigfoot experiences that I've had while working
[22:02] Speaker 1: as a cameraman for Relic. Now, granted, you know, I
[22:08] Speaker 1: can only talk about the things that didn't make the
[22:12] Speaker 1: film that is about to be released soon. It'll be
[22:17] Speaker 1: called The Vanished. It'll be really cool. But everything that
[22:23] Speaker 1: didn't make the cut or didn't make the film, rather
[22:27] Speaker 1: I can talk about. So we go out there to
[22:34] Speaker 1: Georgia to do the first part of the film. Now
[22:41] Speaker 1: I am very green. This is my very first time
[22:45] Speaker 1: trying to operate a camera like this, and you know,
[22:49] Speaker 1: I'm very conscient to not mess this up for my
[22:53] Speaker 1: buddy Greg. You know, Greg golgles is the bomb. If
[22:57] Speaker 1: you guys don't know him, you guys should go check
[22:58] Speaker 1: him out. He's a really cool dude. He's had a
[23:01] Speaker 1: lot of experiences as well. But anyway, you know, I'm
[23:07] Speaker 1: We're out there and we do our first night investigation.
[23:14] Speaker 1: We have lots of interesting sounds happening out there in
[23:18] Speaker 1: the woods. We find some pretty large footprints, you know,
[23:22] Speaker 1: and things are going about like a classic Bigfoot expedition
[23:27] Speaker 1: like you would see on TV, would you know. And
[23:30] Speaker 1: I'm having a good time. I'm eating great at the campsite,
[23:34] Speaker 1: and everybody is cutting up and having fun during the day.
[23:37] Speaker 1: It's a great time. And I remember one night, we're
[23:45] Speaker 1: filming a large fireside chat. Now Greg, he's got all
[23:52] Speaker 1: his lights out here, you know, got this place lit
[23:55] Speaker 1: up like Christmas. I mean, you could see us probably
[23:57] Speaker 1: from miles and miles away, and he's in the fireside
[24:03] Speaker 1: chat and he's kind of orchestrating things as they go,
[24:09] Speaker 1: and my job is to just monitor the cameras, make
[24:14] Speaker 1: sure that I can still see you know, the mic volumes,
[24:17] Speaker 1: like registering, and make sure that nothing dies and all
[24:22] Speaker 1: that so should be super easy. And like before all this,
[24:31] Speaker 1: you know, we're kind of given the briefing of hey,
[24:34] Speaker 1: bigfoot does come into camp and mess with your tents
[24:36] Speaker 1: a lot here, so you know, like that's fresh on
[24:41] Speaker 1: my mind. And as I'm standing there monitoring everything, I
[24:47] Speaker 1: start hearing footsteps approaching us. You know it's coming from
[24:52] Speaker 1: behind me, and you know that's setting off alarm bells
[24:58] Speaker 1: in my head. I'm just like, oh, no, I do
[25:02] Speaker 1: believe something's coming up. And what you got to understand
[25:08] Speaker 1: is like we're like at super high elevations here in Georgia.
[25:13] Speaker 1: I don't know the exact number, but you know, like
[25:15] Speaker 1: not too far past camp is essentially like a cliff,
[25:21] Speaker 1: you know. I mean it's sheer in some places, but
[25:26] Speaker 1: probably eighty degrees at best and others, and you know,
[25:31] Speaker 1: to be approaching from that way is not an easy feat.
[25:39] Speaker 1: But I start hearing the footsteps. You know, there's another
[25:43] Speaker 1: cliff that's above us, and it sounds like it's coming
[25:49] Speaker 1: from that way and that that mountain side isn't so bad,
[25:53] Speaker 1: and I'm just like, Okay, something's coming in. You know.
[25:57] Speaker 1: It's just big, heavy, heavy footsteps. So I'm like, oh, goody, goody,
[26:05] Speaker 1: goody goody. What am I supposed to do? What am
[26:07] Speaker 1: I supposed to do? And this thing keeps on getting
[26:10] Speaker 1: closer and closer, and you know what's going through my
[26:16] Speaker 1: head is I don't want to mess up the shot.
[26:20] Speaker 1: You know, this is my first time. The storyboard is
[26:24] Speaker 1: the storyboard, like, you know, that is what has to happen.
[26:29] Speaker 1: I can't mess this up or let anything else mess
[26:31] Speaker 1: this up. So I'm like, oh wait, I know what
[26:34] Speaker 1: to do. So I slowly walk over to the trailer
[26:39] Speaker 1: and grab my spotlight. Now, my spotlight has a spotlight
[26:43] Speaker 1: on one end and like a little light panel on
[26:46] Speaker 1: the other. You can find them on Amazon or Timu
[26:49] Speaker 1: or whatever. You guys could well know what I'm talking
[26:51] Speaker 1: about if you look. But the thing is really bright.
[26:54] Speaker 1: So I'm like, okay, So I grab that. I hook
[26:57] Speaker 1: a little small tripod to the bottom of it, and
[27:01] Speaker 1: I put it facing you away from the scene and
[27:06] Speaker 1: towards where this thing is walking, and turn on just
[27:09] Speaker 1: the light panel. That shouldn't mess up any of the
[27:14] Speaker 1: balance settings on the camera or interfere with anything, right,
[27:18] Speaker 1: So I just I turn that on, face it back there,
[27:22] Speaker 1: you know, just enough for this thing to be like,
[27:24] Speaker 1: oh it sees me. Okay. So when I did this,
[27:29] Speaker 1: I hear it stop and then run down the trail
[27:35] Speaker 1: to where the cliff and drop off are, and I
[27:40] Speaker 1: hear the rocks of scuttling, you know, as it makes
[27:43] Speaker 1: its way down very quickly. So I'm like, all right, cool,
[27:48] Speaker 1: problem solved. Everything's good. This is going to be an
[27:52] Speaker 1: interesting story to talk about once they're done. So I'm
[27:57] Speaker 1: thinking nothing about it, and all of a sudden, I
[28:03] Speaker 1: start hearing rocks again, as if something is coming back
[28:08] Speaker 1: up the cliff, but this time it's gone. If I'm
[28:12] Speaker 1: looking at where it came at at twelve o'clock, it's
[28:16] Speaker 1: all of a sudden coming up over here at nine
[28:18] Speaker 1: o'clock on the other side of the ridge, And I'm like,
[28:24] Speaker 1: are you serious? This thing is that determined? And I
[28:28] Speaker 1: hear it go up and it makes it over and
[28:33] Speaker 1: this time it's coming a lot slower, and the brush
[28:39] Speaker 1: over there makes it sound like it's crawling. This time,
[28:46] Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, surely to God, it's just gonna find
[28:51] Speaker 1: a good spot, not get that close. It's probably just
[28:55] Speaker 1: curious about all the lights and good smells, right, But
[29:02] Speaker 1: it doesn't stop like it keeps coming closer and closer,
[29:07] Speaker 1: and all of a sudden, I'm starting to see, you know,
[29:10] Speaker 1: brush moving, and I'm like, is this really happening? So
[29:19] Speaker 1: I start, you know, kind of leaning to try to
[29:21] Speaker 1: get a good vantage point and still stay out of frame.
[29:24] Speaker 1: And I start to see what looks like a shadow
[29:29] Speaker 1: crawling along the ground. And it comes right up to
[29:35] Speaker 1: the other side of our friend's camper and it's just
[29:41] Speaker 1: hanging out right there, right next to the wheel, you know,
[29:46] Speaker 1: and I'm crouching down I can I can just barely
[29:51] Speaker 1: make out the black shape of this thing. You know,
[29:54] Speaker 1: There's there's not much that I can see, like maybe
[29:57] Speaker 1: like the smallest part of a shoulder and like half
[30:01] Speaker 1: of a head. But you know, it's pitch black outside
[30:06] Speaker 1: that all these lights are over here. You know, all
[30:08] Speaker 1: I'm seeing is just a shadow. Granted it's a large shadow.
[30:13] Speaker 1: But this thing is I don't know, thirty forty feet
[30:19] Speaker 1: away from me, you know, and probably about the same
[30:22] Speaker 1: distance to the fire and where the filming is going on.
[30:27] Speaker 1: And I'm panicking. I'm like, Okay, what am I supposed
[30:31] Speaker 1: to do here? I don't want to mess this up,
[30:35] Speaker 1: you know, I have one job to do make sure
[30:38] Speaker 1: this goes off without a hitch, you know, And I
[30:41] Speaker 1: start praying, like what do I need to do? Yeah,
[30:45] Speaker 1: it's just like, ah, just go walk out there, like really,
[30:49] Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, okay, fine, do you say so? So
[30:55] Speaker 1: I start to walk slowly and quietly, ninja if you will,
[31:02] Speaker 1: and I get halfway between where I was and where
[31:06] Speaker 1: it's at, so it's maybe twenty feet away. And then
[31:11] Speaker 1: all of a sudden, from what would now at this
[31:16] Speaker 1: point be my six o'clock where the original larger ridge
[31:21] Speaker 1: that kind of overlooks where we are is at, I
[31:26] Speaker 1: hear something throw a big old rock, and you hear
[31:31] Speaker 1: the rock just come crashing through the tree limbs and
[31:34] Speaker 1: all that hit the ground bounce and roll down the hill.
[31:39] Speaker 1: And as soon as that thing hit the rock, the
[31:44] Speaker 1: shadow on the other end jumps up and just runs
[31:48] Speaker 1: down that ridge as fast as it can. You hear
[31:51] Speaker 1: rocks are going and everything. It's just going fast, just
[31:55] Speaker 1: trying to haul butt out of there and get out,
[31:58] Speaker 1: you know, before it gets seen. Which is interesting. You know,
[32:02] Speaker 1: I only thought that there was just the one, but
[32:05] Speaker 1: apparently there was another one way up there. Do an
[32:09] Speaker 1: overwatch on it, you know, and giving it a signal
[32:13] Speaker 1: like hey, it's time to go. So, you know, I
[32:18] Speaker 1: was like, oh, okay, well awesome, that worked out great,
[32:23] Speaker 1: you know, and I didn't have an issue with it
[32:25] Speaker 1: for the rest of the night. You know. They get
[32:28] Speaker 1: done with their thing and I start talking Greg. I'm like, bro,
[32:31] Speaker 1: this is what just happened. And his reaction was hilarious.
[32:35] Speaker 1: He's like, dude, next time, just let it come on
[32:40] Speaker 1: and wander into frame. Make for great TV. And it
[32:44] Speaker 1: was like, oh, you know what, You're right. That is
[32:50] Speaker 1: kind of what we're out here doing, isn't it. It's like, yeah, like, oh, sorry,
[32:56] Speaker 1: I panicked. I didn't want to mess up this storyboard
[33:01] Speaker 1: script filming. Like sorry. It's like nah, yeah, it's cool.
[33:06] Speaker 1: Maybe it'll happen again, Like yeah, maybe, okay.
[33:14] Speaker 2: So so I.
[33:19] Speaker 1: Believe it's the next night after this, and at this
[33:24] Speaker 1: point we're going to go to a different location and
[33:34] Speaker 1: we're driving there and they're this is right after I
[33:40] Speaker 1: want to say, the hurricane or yeah, the hurricane there
[33:43] Speaker 1: in North Carolina, Carolina Heleen and all that. So there
[33:48] Speaker 1: was like a lot of people that had come over
[33:51] Speaker 1: to Georgia to camp and just kind of be out
[33:55] Speaker 1: there since it's you know, free to camp out there
[33:57] Speaker 1: and stuff like that, and wait for all that to
[34:00] Speaker 1: blow past. So every single site that was like normally
[34:07] Speaker 1: open was just filled up. So we go try to
[34:13] Speaker 1: drive to another one, same situation, and we're really frustrated, like,
[34:19] Speaker 1: oh my gosh, like I don't know that this is
[34:25] Speaker 1: going to be able to happen, you know, and we're
[34:29] Speaker 1: talking about it. I'm in the back seat of the
[34:32] Speaker 1: jeep as we're going down this windy dirt road there
[34:36] Speaker 1: the mountains, and all of a sudden, to the right,
[34:45] Speaker 1: this big, large black figure runs up the real steep embankment.
[34:53] Speaker 1: I mean, this thing is seventy degrees or more. I
[34:58] Speaker 1: don't know how tall, but I mean it just comes
[35:00] Speaker 1: booking it up. That thing runs across the road right
[35:05] Speaker 1: in front of us. I mean, we got this thing
[35:07] Speaker 1: full on in the headlights, crosses the road and there's
[35:12] Speaker 1: another embankment to go back up, and this one's a
[35:14] Speaker 1: little bit less. I mean, it's like sheer like because
[35:19] Speaker 1: the road is kind of cut in, so it's like
[35:20] Speaker 1: sheer for about maybe six foot or so, and then
[35:24] Speaker 1: it goes up to like another sixty to seventy degree
[35:27] Speaker 1: embankment up into the woods. We slam on the brakes
[35:32] Speaker 1: and we're just like, oh my gosh, what was that,
[35:35] Speaker 1: you know, And it was so fast, like I don't
[35:44] Speaker 1: know how fast, but I mean, it was just mind
[35:47] Speaker 1: bogglingly fast. This thing came out on all fours. But
[35:53] Speaker 1: you know, it's it wasn't running like a normal animal,
[35:59] Speaker 1: like like its arms were out to the side, kind
[36:05] Speaker 1: of like if you were doing like push ups or something.
[36:09] Speaker 1: It was running like that, and I remember like it's
[36:14] Speaker 1: but was slightly up almost I guess you'd say, kind
[36:19] Speaker 1: of like in bear crawl position. You know. I remember
[36:22] Speaker 1: its legs being kind of the way like it moved
[36:28] Speaker 1: like that. I don't know a great way to describe it.
[36:32] Speaker 1: Maybe if you were sitting in like an office chair
[36:37] Speaker 1: with wheels and you were trying to push yourself to
[36:41] Speaker 1: go fast and zoom across the floor. It was kind
[36:44] Speaker 1: of like that same motion, I guess would be the
[36:47] Speaker 1: best way I can picture it. And you know, since
[36:54] Speaker 1: it's in the in the in the headlights, you know,
[36:57] Speaker 1: like I said, I can we can see all the
[36:59] Speaker 1: details of this thing. It's black fur, I mean, and
[37:06] Speaker 1: it's a very strange color of black. You know, it's
[37:10] Speaker 1: like it's like it's almost absorbing the light in a
[37:15] Speaker 1: strange way. It's the flattest black that I've ever seen.
[37:21] Speaker 1: And its hair is thick in some places, but like
[37:24] Speaker 1: I remember specifically like its arms, and part of it's
[37:28] Speaker 1: like maybe like the top top ish half of its
[37:32] Speaker 1: upper torso it was more sparse. I mean I could
[37:35] Speaker 1: see through the hair and see almost ash colored skin.
[37:43] Speaker 1: And its head was down as it ran. Now, its
[37:48] Speaker 1: head was pointed in a slight way. I mean, it
[37:51] Speaker 1: wasn't dramatic, but I mean it definitely had a point
[37:54] Speaker 1: to it. And you know, with the speed of this thing,
[38:02] Speaker 1: you know, your brain really doesn't have a time to
[38:05] Speaker 1: process it. You know. My first thought was is that
[38:08] Speaker 1: a bear? I mean, I know there's bear out here,
[38:11] Speaker 1: but what was that? I mean, it was big, you know,
[38:14] Speaker 1: And we stopped the car and we get out, you know,
[38:17] Speaker 1: we both we all got like flashlights shining up to
[38:21] Speaker 1: the woods. You know, we're trying to find this thing
[38:25] Speaker 1: because normally, like a black bear when it's running would
[38:29] Speaker 1: only run so far before it would like stop and
[38:32] Speaker 1: like go up a tree and kind of turn around
[38:34] Speaker 1: assess the situation. Normally, but that didn't happen at all.
[38:39] Speaker 1: It just kept on running, like we could hear this
[38:41] Speaker 1: thing running across the top of that mountain and it
[38:46] Speaker 1: was just so fast. I mean, I don't know how
[38:52] Speaker 1: long or how wide rather that mountain area is, but
[38:58] Speaker 1: it seems like it just cleared that thing and seconds,
[39:02] Speaker 1: you know, we're just blown away, like what in the
[39:04] Speaker 1: world is that that's there? It couldn't have been a bear,
[39:09] Speaker 1: you know. So then we're like, oh, wait, hold on,
[39:11] Speaker 1: we have this you know, cut out here in the
[39:14] Speaker 1: road before it hits that embankment. Let's go look at
[39:16] Speaker 1: where this thing went up. So we're looking and there's
[39:23] Speaker 1: these really strange handprints. It looks like this thing is
[39:28] Speaker 1: running on its knuckles, kind of like a gorilla, only
[39:33] Speaker 1: its middle finger is jutting out. So we're looking at thinking, okay,
[39:40] Speaker 1: if it's a bear, there's gonna be claw marks and
[39:43] Speaker 1: all that, like, okay, you know, the size wise is
[39:47] Speaker 1: kind of close, but it looks like somebody running on
[39:50] Speaker 1: their knuckles just with the middle finger out, you know.
[39:55] Speaker 1: And you see multiples as it went up, like okay,
[39:59] Speaker 1: that's weird. Keep looking and lo and behold, we find
[40:02] Speaker 1: a footprint too. You know, I believe it was eighteen inches.
[40:09] Speaker 1: I can't remember off the top of my head, but
[40:11] Speaker 1: it was still real good size, and you know, it's
[40:14] Speaker 1: classic Bigfoot. So we're looking at the footprint and you
[40:17] Speaker 1: know it's classic Bigfoot. There's five toes, well defined heel.
[40:22] Speaker 1: You know, even has like the whole mid tarsel break
[40:24] Speaker 1: thing going on. Like it's it's classic. It's eighteen inches
[40:28] Speaker 1: long or so, it might be a little more. I
[40:31] Speaker 1: can't remember exactly. You know it'll be in the film.
[40:35] Speaker 1: But we're just like, holy crap, this thing just ran
[40:40] Speaker 1: out in front of us.
[40:42] Speaker 2: You know.
[40:43] Speaker 1: And h Craig's oxide, He's like, awesome, did you catch that.
[40:48] Speaker 1: I'm like, what do you mean? Like, yeah, I saw obviously.
[40:53] Speaker 1: It's like no, we shouldn't be rolled from the back seat.
[40:56] Speaker 1: I'm like no, and he's like, oh no, we had
[41:02] Speaker 1: the Bigfoot film footage of the century. You weren't rolling
[41:07] Speaker 1: b roll. I was like, no, man, I asked you
[41:09] Speaker 1: earlier about b roll and you told me we had
[41:11] Speaker 1: all the b roll we needed. I didn't think that.
[41:14] Speaker 1: I think this was the situation for it. You know,
[41:17] Speaker 1: just catch us getting off frustrated about everybody camping out here.
[41:21] Speaker 1: All of a sudden, He's like, oh, man, like, yeah,
[41:30] Speaker 1: I'm sorry, bro, that's my bad. I was like, nah,
[41:32] Speaker 1: it's my bad too. I should have told you. It's
[41:35] Speaker 1: like eh kind of but I'll take the blame. Like
[41:40] Speaker 1: I said, my very first time out there filming, and
[41:45] Speaker 1: I made a couple of mistakes, but it was really
[41:48] Speaker 1: really impressive. You know, I see that thing in my
[41:52] Speaker 1: brain right now. I mean it's just burned in there,
[41:54] Speaker 1: just like everything else that I've seen and experienced. And
[42:01] Speaker 1: I really wish I could explain how fast that thing was,
[42:04] Speaker 1: Like I can't emphasize that enough. It was just so fast.
[42:11] Speaker 1: All right. So anyways, after that, we go and we
[42:18] Speaker 1: film the second half, and I'm trying to think, as
[42:26] Speaker 1: far as I know, I don't believe there's anything that
[42:30] Speaker 1: I can talk about that happened with the second half
[42:33] Speaker 1: of that just yet. But once it does, I'll be
[42:37] Speaker 1: happy to once it airs. In other words, but so
[42:44] Speaker 1: that happens, We're out there and the Smokies this time
[42:48] Speaker 1: for about a week, and I get back and you know,
[42:54] Speaker 1: it's a great time, had a lot of fun. And
[42:58] Speaker 1: then when I get home, though, if lets me know,
[43:00] Speaker 1: she's like, Hey, we're going to go back out to
[43:04] Speaker 1: the Smokies in two weeks. Uh. Me and some friends
[43:06] Speaker 1: from work are going to go on vacation and yeah, like, oh, okay,
[43:12] Speaker 1: go back to Tennessee. That's cool. What are we doing?
[43:16] Speaker 1: You know? And she tells me the notinerary or whatever.
[43:20] Speaker 1: And on one of the days, now, we're going to Dollywood.
[43:25] Speaker 1: And I hate roller coasters, like I absolutely hate them,
[43:32] Speaker 1: you know, when we go to amusement parks or whatever,
[43:35] Speaker 1: Like I'm the pack mule. I carry all the stuff
[43:40] Speaker 1: and the only thing that I look forward to the
[43:42] Speaker 1: entire day is eating a giant smoke turkey leg like
[43:45] Speaker 1: that's my payment. But I'm like, hey, wait, now we
[43:51] Speaker 1: got your work friends coming with us, right, She's like yeah,
[43:55] Speaker 1: Like so I technically don't have to go to that.
[43:59] Speaker 1: Like I can go to the Tennessee and do all that,
[44:02] Speaker 1: but I don't have to go to Dollywood, right. It's
[44:04] Speaker 1: just like, yeah, I guess, like awesome, I have other plans.
[44:12] Speaker 1: So I call up my good buddy Harley Owens. I'm like, hey,
[44:18] Speaker 1: I've got a day to kill. You want to go
[44:21] Speaker 1: out squatching in the woods? And He's like heck yeah.
[44:26] Speaker 1: So I'm like, all right, it's when I get you know,
[44:28] Speaker 1: the what little equipment I have and meet it up
[44:32] Speaker 1: with him and we go out to the woods and
[44:38] Speaker 1: you know, we had a great time. And like I said,
[44:40] Speaker 1: you know, that film that I shot is on my
[44:42] Speaker 1: YouTube channel. You guys can go check it out. We
[44:46] Speaker 1: had a lot of experiences, you know. It's it's one
[44:50] Speaker 1: of the old research areas of Scott Carpenter, So I
[44:54] Speaker 1: mean there's already an established history out there, and we
[45:00] Speaker 1: go out there and I am just blown away by
[45:07] Speaker 1: the amount of sign that is out there that's close
[45:14] Speaker 1: to the car, like when I park. I mean we're
[45:18] Speaker 1: not even a thousand yards in and there's just tree
[45:22] Speaker 1: structures everywhere. There is prints everywhere, Like the very first
[45:30] Speaker 1: one we saw was perfectly defined. We casted it. You know,
[45:35] Speaker 1: if you go and see him at like a conference
[45:37] Speaker 1: or something, you can see the cast that we made.
[45:41] Speaker 1: You know, it was so impressive to see how much
[45:47] Speaker 1: stuff was out there, and you know, going into it,
[45:54] Speaker 1: the tree structure thing, you know, I didn't really think
[45:58] Speaker 1: much of it. To me. It was more like you know,
[46:02] Speaker 1: windfall and prepubescent teens out there being bored and practicing bushcraft,
[46:10] Speaker 1: you know that that's what I chalked up to. I
[46:12] Speaker 1: didn't really put any stock into it, you know, but
[46:16] Speaker 1: by the end of the trip, I definitely changed my
[46:20] Speaker 1: mind a lot, because we're out there and you know,
[46:26] Speaker 1: we're going and looking at all these things. You know,
[46:29] Speaker 1: as I scrub through the footage, I find some great
[46:32] Speaker 1: stuff that's you know, we didn't see that's sitting there
[46:36] Speaker 1: watching us. And you know, I'm blown away enough by that.
[46:43] Speaker 1: Some of these tree structures we go and look at.
[46:46] Speaker 1: You know, we've got emf meters out and these things spike,
[46:52] Speaker 1: you know, anywhere from sixty to like I believe the
[46:56] Speaker 1: highest one was in like the mid to upper eighties.
[47:00] Speaker 1: And granted like that, there's there's nothing power source wise
[47:06] Speaker 1: anywhere out there. It's desolation, there's nothing that we're having
[47:11] Speaker 1: these crazy EMF spikes and it was just insane. And
[47:19] Speaker 1: we saw so many footprints, you know, I eventually just
[47:22] Speaker 1: stopped recording them. I'm like, oh, look another print, Oh
[47:26] Speaker 1: look another print. You know, it's just everywhere. These things
[47:30] Speaker 1: are just running around out there, and it was just
[47:35] Speaker 1: it was blowing my mind. And one thing that I
[47:38] Speaker 1: did notice too, about a lot of these prints is
[47:42] Speaker 1: that you know, like they would be in the strangest
[47:49] Speaker 1: and most obscure and hard to walk in places off
[47:56] Speaker 1: of the trail. You know, like it just didn't make
[47:59] Speaker 1: sense if you're gonna walk through the woods. These things
[48:03] Speaker 1: seem to be taking the hardest route possible to get
[48:07] Speaker 1: from point A to point B. Now, granted, you know,
[48:11] Speaker 1: as we're walking out there, I mean we're pretty loud.
[48:14] Speaker 1: I mean it's you know, march in smoky mountains. Plenty
[48:17] Speaker 1: of the leaves are down. I could hear us coming
[48:19] Speaker 1: from a mile away. But later on, when we when
[48:24] Speaker 1: these things actually come and start to make themselves known,
[48:28] Speaker 1: and we physically lay eyeballs on them, like we see them,
[48:32] Speaker 1: and I'm doing everything I can to record them, it's
[48:36] Speaker 1: just silent. You don't have much warning. It was so strange.
[48:44] Speaker 1: Now further on, we're like sitting on a ridge. You know,
[48:50] Speaker 1: this is about the halfway point, and before I start recording,
[48:57] Speaker 1: you know, we were sitting on this ridge hanging out
[48:59] Speaker 1: for a half hour, and we start having rock clacking
[49:03] Speaker 1: going on pretty much all around us. I mean, these
[49:07] Speaker 1: things pretty much have us backing. And one little observation
[49:13] Speaker 1: I'll point out is that this place is just loaded
[49:17] Speaker 1: with granite. And if I'm not missed, wait is it granite?
[49:26] Speaker 1: I think it's granted anyways, you know piso electricity, the
[49:29] Speaker 1: ones that you put pressure on and its sparks. I
[49:33] Speaker 1: believe that's granted. I could be wrong, but you guys
[49:36] Speaker 1: know what I mean, right, No, no, no, no, I'm sorry,
[49:38] Speaker 1: not granted. Quartz. This place is littered with quartz rock.
[49:45] Speaker 1: There's quarts all over the trails and just giant boulders
[49:50] Speaker 1: of the stuff just everywhere. And we're thinking that these
[49:55] Speaker 1: things are clacking together, this quartz, and that might account
[50:01] Speaker 1: for some of the strange emf things that's going on,
[50:07] Speaker 1: and you know, it's very unsettling. I'll also point out
[50:11] Speaker 1: that my cord that I was using for my lab
[50:17] Speaker 1: mics to go into my phone would start to mess
[50:23] Speaker 1: up at times like I didn't know it at the time,
[50:26] Speaker 1: but like when I listened back to the footage, like
[50:28] Speaker 1: you'd hear like this rustling, ecstatic kind of noise of
[50:31] Speaker 1: interference going on. And when that would happen, it wouldn't
[50:37] Speaker 1: be a couple seconds later that normally it would be
[50:41] Speaker 1: hardly he would grab out his EMF meter and check it.
[50:48] Speaker 1: I mean, it was almost like clockwork. It was so strange.
[50:51] Speaker 1: I don't know if it's a you know, the natural
[50:54] Speaker 1: body just kind of feeling that and you know, like
[50:59] Speaker 1: being tuned into it enough to put to the point
[51:01] Speaker 1: where we think just randomly, now is a good time
[51:05] Speaker 1: to check. I don't know, but I know that, you know,
[51:09] Speaker 1: the whatever it was that was going on, it completely
[51:12] Speaker 1: torched that cable. Like I had to buy a new one.
[51:15] Speaker 1: I tried fixing it with a ground loop isolator and
[51:18] Speaker 1: all kind of stuff. Yeah, no, that things just it
[51:21] Speaker 1: got burnt, slap up. But anyways, we're sitting here on
[51:26] Speaker 1: this ridge and we're boxed off. We're listening. You know,
[51:33] Speaker 1: it's it's dead silent. There's no birds, crickets whatever, and
[51:40] Speaker 1: alls we hear is just rock clacking, and it would
[51:46] Speaker 1: pick up over here, then it'd go over here, you know,
[51:49] Speaker 1: six nine twelve, Like it was just kind of surrounding us,
[51:53] Speaker 1: and I'm just like, okay, well they definitely know we're here,
[51:56] Speaker 1: and it's getting kind of interesting, and we start to
[52:02] Speaker 1: see one for sure, but we feel like two across
[52:08] Speaker 1: the ridge from us, right across the stream, you know,
[52:13] Speaker 1: we kind of see like a half face poking out
[52:18] Speaker 1: like okay, okay, trying to start rolling camera right. So
[52:24] Speaker 1: and I do my best to scan this thing, and
[52:27] Speaker 1: once I can get the camera out, this thing just
[52:29] Speaker 1: wants to start getting a little elusive. However, I was
[52:34] Speaker 1: able to catch it, so it's there in the footage
[52:39] Speaker 1: and you guys can let me know what you think
[52:41] Speaker 1: of it. But anyway, so that goes on for a
[52:46] Speaker 1: good little while. And keep in mind also it's you know,
[52:51] Speaker 1: it's March. It's an overcast day. You know, the temperature
[52:56] Speaker 1: is in the sixties. And I decide to get the
[53:05] Speaker 1: EMF meter and see what's going on and see if
[53:09] Speaker 1: I can't get something, you know, anomalous happen happening while
[53:12] Speaker 1: this is going on, and I'm not registering much on mine.
[53:18] Speaker 1: But I was like, oh wait a second, I wonder
[53:21] Speaker 1: if I do this, And it has another feature where
[53:24] Speaker 1: I can check the temperature. So I put it on
[53:27] Speaker 1: the temperature and I'm sitting here watching it, you know,
[53:33] Speaker 1: and it's showing the temperature. It's like sixty two, sixty three,
[53:38] Speaker 1: you know, sun's not out, it's overcast. And then all
[53:40] Speaker 1: of a sudden, this thing starts spiking again, and it
[53:45] Speaker 1: goes all the way up into like the mid eighties
[53:48] Speaker 1: and temperature like, what this is weird? Now? Granted this
[53:56] Speaker 1: is after I put the phone down, so you know,
[54:00] Speaker 1: if you want to take the opinion, if he didn't
[54:02] Speaker 1: catch it on film, it didn't happen. That's fine. I
[54:05] Speaker 1: get it. I understand how this all works. But you know,
[54:08] Speaker 1: if I'm lying, I'm dying, y'all. But that's what happens.
[54:12] Speaker 1: And I'm just like, wow, okay, you know, and immediately
[54:15] Speaker 1: I'm thinking about like ghost type situations, right, like you
[54:20] Speaker 1: see a ghost and the temperature drops. Well, I mean, okay,
[54:23] Speaker 1: we got Bigfoot and the opposite is happening. I don't
[54:28] Speaker 1: know what that means. Yeah, I'm thinking. I mean, like,
[54:34] Speaker 1: the best thing that I can kind of come up
[54:36] Speaker 1: with on it is I think it's the law of
[54:38] Speaker 1: thermo dynamics, like when you use energy, heat as created, right,
[54:43] Speaker 1: And I'm wondering, like with all the rock clacking that's
[54:46] Speaker 1: happening with these quartz rocks, you know, if they're not
[54:50] Speaker 1: generating enough electricity that all of a sudden, I'm able
[54:54] Speaker 1: to register it as heat in our area. I don't
[55:00] Speaker 1: no I'm grasping at straws here. I don't have a clue.
[55:03] Speaker 1: I just know that was really weird, So like, okay,
[55:10] Speaker 1: don't know what's happening, but weird. But eventually things kind
[55:15] Speaker 1: of chill out and there's not much going on, so
[55:19] Speaker 1: we're like, okay, well, we have been originally came down
[55:22] Speaker 1: here to find this cage that was out here in
[55:25] Speaker 1: the middle of the woods that a hiker had reported
[55:28] Speaker 1: and we wanted to like find that, so that was
[55:31] Speaker 1: like our goal for the day. And we noticed it
[55:35] Speaker 1: over there to our left. It's like, okay, well, let's
[55:38] Speaker 1: go check it out and see what this is all about.
[55:41] Speaker 1: And as we're walking to it, all of a sudden,
[55:45] Speaker 1: another one, another bigfoot runs out from behind the laurels
[55:52] Speaker 1: and runs across, jumps over the stream, and books it
[55:57] Speaker 1: up the hill. And all the while we're scrambling trying
[56:01] Speaker 1: to get the cameras on this thing, you know, and
[56:06] Speaker 1: I remember Harley he zooms in with his phone and
[56:11] Speaker 1: his iPhone, you know, granted it's an older model, but
[56:13] Speaker 1: at least it was at the time. You know, it
[56:15] Speaker 1: goes straight to pixelation. You know, I'm zooming in with mine.
[56:20] Speaker 1: I've got an iPhone fifteen Promax. I'm zooming in as
[56:24] Speaker 1: far as I can, trying to catch this thing, and
[56:29] Speaker 1: it's not working great. I'm picking up more foliage that's
[56:34] Speaker 1: in front of it rather than it, you know, because
[56:37] Speaker 1: it did stop halfway on its run, and it's like
[56:42] Speaker 1: hanging out from beside a tree kind of looking at us,
[56:45] Speaker 1: and I'm just doing everything I can, like I'm propping
[56:47] Speaker 1: on the tree. I'm trying to keep as stable as
[56:50] Speaker 1: I can, and it's just not picking it up great.
[56:53] Speaker 1: It's just picking up the foliage in front of it. Granted,
[56:57] Speaker 1: on the dock you can see it like it there's
[57:00] Speaker 1: a slight picture. It's more of like a brownish colored one.
[57:06] Speaker 1: And also it is like another interesting aside. There's like
[57:10] Speaker 1: within the frame that I catch and show on that
[57:13] Speaker 1: there's also like the craziest paradolia that's happening. And it
[57:17] Speaker 1: looks like a giant green face that's over here next
[57:20] Speaker 1: to this thing, and that's super disconcerting because I mean
[57:24] Speaker 1: it looks like a big foot face. I mean, it's
[57:27] Speaker 1: it's crazy. I mean, you got to look at it.
[57:29] Speaker 1: It's really really interesting, but can't catch it. And then
[57:35] Speaker 1: all of a sudden, you know, these thing's just gone.
[57:38] Speaker 1: You know, it runs across you know, it kind of
[57:41] Speaker 1: hits diagonal to the point like where it kind of
[57:45] Speaker 1: keeps along like the line of the laurels, and then
[57:47] Speaker 1: it goes back up the ridge. You know, we can't
[57:49] Speaker 1: see it, and it's real thick over there on that
[57:51] Speaker 1: other side. You know, we're we're looking around trying to
[57:55] Speaker 1: find it, and it's yeah, it's not coming back. It's
[57:58] Speaker 1: it's gone, like all right, so we just keep on. Now.
[58:02] Speaker 1: The cool thing was is we went up to the
[58:05] Speaker 1: stream to where it kind of had crossed at and
[58:08] Speaker 1: we did have like a sliding footprint of that big foot, right,
[58:15] Speaker 1: so we catch like, you know, a really good impression
[58:17] Speaker 1: of a heel and stuff as it's on the bank,
[58:20] Speaker 1: and then the rest of the other half of the
[58:22] Speaker 1: foot is in the stream. So that's there, and let's
[58:30] Speaker 1: see here what else is good to tell for time
[58:32] Speaker 1: wise with the rest of that expedition. I don't want
[58:36] Speaker 1: to give everything away because I'd really like it if
[58:38] Speaker 1: you guys went out and watched it. Okay, yeah, here
[58:45] Speaker 1: we go. All right, So on the second half of
[58:50] Speaker 1: this little trip that we do out there, this documentary,
[58:53] Speaker 1: if you will. We get back from lunch and we
[58:56] Speaker 1: go to a second site and we're like, okay, let's
[59:03] Speaker 1: hike back there and try to recreate this the best
[59:06] Speaker 1: we can, you know. So we start walking to the
[59:11] Speaker 1: end of the trail, you know, along the line, we're
[59:14] Speaker 1: seeing the same thing. We're seeing tree structures, footprints, you know,
[59:18] Speaker 1: and they're putting off the MF like, okay, it's as neat,
[59:22] Speaker 1: seems like we're in a good spot. We find a
[59:25] Speaker 1: good hill once we get back there, and we just
[59:28] Speaker 1: sit back to back. This time. We're not out there
[59:32] Speaker 1: long and then all of a sudden, something starts coming
[59:36] Speaker 1: up on him and he's wearing MicroPro on his head
[59:42] Speaker 1: and he's watching it for a good minute, and I
[59:46] Speaker 1: am able to catch it on the footage, granted, you know,
[59:51] Speaker 1: I mean I have to like kind of slow it
[59:53] Speaker 1: down and zoom in and show everybody, but you can
[59:58] Speaker 1: see it. You can see what he's looking at. And
[1:00:01] Speaker 1: while that's going on for him, you know, I'm not
[1:00:06] Speaker 1: really concerned with what's happening in front of me, because
[1:00:09] Speaker 1: the best thing I found over there was a rabbit.
[1:00:12] Speaker 1: But where he's sitting at there's there's another mountain beside
[1:00:19] Speaker 1: where he is looking at. I guess it is the
[1:00:22] Speaker 1: best way you could say it. And from his vantage point,
[1:00:26] Speaker 1: he really wouldn't be able to see around it. But
[1:00:29] Speaker 1: if I turn my neck as far as I can
[1:00:31] Speaker 1: and practically break it, you know, my neck is hurting
[1:00:34] Speaker 1: while I'm doing it, I can see around it a
[1:00:37] Speaker 1: decent bit and all there is back there is just laurels.
[1:00:44] Speaker 1: But I see a large dark shape at the top
[1:00:50] Speaker 1: of the laurels, and I'm like, what in the world.
[1:00:54] Speaker 1: You know, I'm looking at it best I can, and
[1:00:57] Speaker 1: it looks like, you know, it's like chest up up
[1:01:00] Speaker 1: basically a very large bigfoot. Well I say large now
[1:01:05] Speaker 1: because of hindsight. You know, at the time, I was
[1:01:07] Speaker 1: thinking maybe that's a small one. You know, I'm thinking
[1:01:11] Speaker 1: maybe that was the one we saw earlier. And you know,
[1:01:17] Speaker 1: I see this thing pretty pretty well. It's not great because,
[1:01:21] Speaker 1: like I said, I'm in pain trying to look, and
[1:01:25] Speaker 1: you know, it's kind of like chest up. I see
[1:01:28] Speaker 1: like broad shoulders, no neck. I mean, it's like it's
[1:01:32] Speaker 1: just all trap and then you know ahead and that's
[1:01:36] Speaker 1: slightly pointed. I'm like, huh okay. I was like all right,
[1:01:42] Speaker 1: that's definitely a bigfoot. He can't see it. So I'm like,
[1:01:46] Speaker 1: all right, so I'm gonna start trying to turn slowly
[1:01:51] Speaker 1: so I don't spook it or whatever. And you know,
[1:01:55] Speaker 1: once I start to move, it's like it's the Homer
[1:01:59] Speaker 1: Simpson meme, right, Like it just fades into the bush,
[1:02:02] Speaker 1: it just disappears into the laurels. I'm like, okay, well,
[1:02:11] Speaker 1: I guess that's a no go, you know. And by
[1:02:14] Speaker 1: this time, the one that Harley was watching is gone.
[1:02:17] Speaker 1: So we're like, all right, well that just happened. I
[1:02:20] Speaker 1: think we ought to go down there and see what
[1:02:23] Speaker 1: we can find. Yeah, So we get down there. We're
[1:02:29] Speaker 1: looking around, you know, and I'm I'm we don't really
[1:02:36] Speaker 1: see a whole lot of sign of what he was watching.
[1:02:39] Speaker 1: It didn't seem like it was very large. It was
[1:02:41] Speaker 1: definitely one of the smaller ones. But I tell him
[1:02:47] Speaker 1: about mine that I was looking at, and he's like, well, okay,
[1:02:50] Speaker 1: let's go over to that side of the hill and look.
[1:02:53] Speaker 1: So we do, and you know, I describe what I saw.
[1:03:00] Speaker 1: We get right up to the laurels, and you know,
[1:03:06] Speaker 1: Harley is like six or five or so, you know,
[1:03:10] Speaker 1: and reaching his hand all the way up it's like
[1:03:13] Speaker 1: eight foot, you know, and he goes and stands next
[1:03:16] Speaker 1: to the laurel and this thing is, you know, much
[1:03:20] Speaker 1: bigger than that, obviously, because his hand doesn't really hardly
[1:03:24] Speaker 1: come to the top of the laurels, so it had
[1:03:27] Speaker 1: to be at least over eight foot. I don't know
[1:03:31] Speaker 1: how much, but you know, this thing had to be
[1:03:35] Speaker 1: quite large. She's like, oh, okay, well that kind of
[1:03:41] Speaker 1: changes the way I feel about this a little bit.
[1:03:46] Speaker 1: And you know, as we're kind of like talking about
[1:03:50] Speaker 1: it and trying to find something going on there, all
[1:03:57] Speaker 1: of a sudden, we hear a roar come through the
[1:04:02] Speaker 1: woods and it sounds like it's a good way as
[1:04:08] Speaker 1: a way, but it's just so powerful. Like I feel
[1:04:18] Speaker 1: like the chest capacity on this thing just had to
[1:04:20] Speaker 1: be huge to be able to produce this noise. And granted,
[1:04:24] Speaker 1: like I've I've been looking into this stuff for many
[1:04:28] Speaker 1: years now, I've heard plenty of supposed Bigfoot vocalizations and
[1:04:33] Speaker 1: dog man vocalizations, and I've heard plenty, and this just
[1:04:37] Speaker 1: sounds like something that I've just never heard before. I
[1:04:42] Speaker 1: have no idea what it is. I mean, it's just powerful.
[1:04:46] Speaker 1: I mean it hits you like a shock wave as
[1:04:48] Speaker 1: it just rolls through the forest and we're just like,
[1:04:53] Speaker 1: oh my gosh, what was that? You know? And granted,
[1:04:58] Speaker 1: for all I know this thing was a tea, you know,
[1:05:00] Speaker 1: I have no clue, but I'm just like, look, I
[1:05:05] Speaker 1: don't know what that is, but I know that I
[1:05:08] Speaker 1: want no part of that because wow. And he's like, yeah,
[1:05:13] Speaker 1: that was intense, you know. And the unfortunate part is
[1:05:20] Speaker 1: I'm only out there with little livelier mics, you know.
[1:05:23] Speaker 1: And I boosted the audio up as much as I
[1:05:26] Speaker 1: possibly could on my editing software, and like with headphones on,
[1:05:31] Speaker 1: I can just ever so barely hear it. But if
[1:05:36] Speaker 1: you're if you're listening to it at that point, probably
[1:05:40] Speaker 1: like on the TV or a phone, I doubt you will,
[1:05:43] Speaker 1: but you might if you put on headphones and I
[1:05:45] Speaker 1: queue it up in the screen, like you know, you'll
[1:05:48] Speaker 1: have ample warning if you want to try and make
[1:05:50] Speaker 1: the attempt. But I do know that, like you know,
[1:05:53] Speaker 1: as I was editing it with headphones turned all the
[1:05:55] Speaker 1: way up on the computer, I could just barely make
[1:05:58] Speaker 1: it out. Needless to say, I did invest in a
[1:06:03] Speaker 1: shotgun mic after that, so next time I'll have it handled.
[1:06:07] Speaker 1: But you know, so anyways, I guess to round it out,
[1:06:13] Speaker 1: you know, like as we're getting ready to kind of
[1:06:17] Speaker 1: leave that area, we kind of decided to look at
[1:06:23] Speaker 1: one of these trees that are out there, because there's
[1:06:28] Speaker 1: weird looking pine trees, I think, is what they were.
[1:06:31] Speaker 1: That looked like they were kind of like busted out
[1:06:34] Speaker 1: to the side, like they were kind of frilled out.
[1:06:41] Speaker 1: I guess it's the best way I could say to
[1:06:43] Speaker 1: put it. Like, they looked very strange, and you know,
[1:06:50] Speaker 1: we decided to look at one of them, and as
[1:06:54] Speaker 1: we look into it, we realize that there's hair all
[1:06:59] Speaker 1: in this thing, real long, coarse black hair, Like wow,
[1:07:08] Speaker 1: I think there might be a little bit of something
[1:07:10] Speaker 1: going on here. I mean, we kind of look at
[1:07:11] Speaker 1: it one way it's black, we look at it another way.
[1:07:15] Speaker 1: It's like a reddish hue. Very strange, very strange. But yeah,
[1:07:22] Speaker 1: you'll be able to see all that on my channel
[1:07:24] Speaker 1: if you want to check it out. And I don't
[1:07:28] Speaker 1: want to sell everything that's or tell you guys everything
[1:07:30] Speaker 1: that's on it, you know, I want to give you
[1:07:32] Speaker 1: a little bit of meat on the bone. But you know,
[1:07:34] Speaker 1: the moral of the story was it was a great time.
[1:07:38] Speaker 1: You know, we had a lot of activity. I was
[1:07:39] Speaker 1: blown away, you know, and I promise you I'm as
[1:07:45] Speaker 1: professional as it gets. There's no faking, there's no hoaxing,
[1:07:49] Speaker 1: there's none of that going on. We saw what we
[1:07:53] Speaker 1: saw and if I'm lying, I'm dying. So with all
[1:07:59] Speaker 1: that being said, I believe that's all the Bigfoot that
[1:08:04] Speaker 1: I've got to talk about for now.
[1:08:07] Speaker 3: Well, those are a lot of experiences there, Jim, you've
[1:08:10] Speaker 3: been busy. It really makes you wonder what's next.
[1:08:15] Speaker 1: Yeah. I have started filming Enigma too, so that has
[1:08:21] Speaker 1: started this time. I'm going to be in a bank
[1:08:23] Speaker 1: head forest in Alabama. So I just got done with
[1:08:27] Speaker 1: that actually on this past weekend. So I haven't got
[1:08:30] Speaker 1: to go through the footage yet. I'm not exactly entirely
[1:08:33] Speaker 1: sure what's all there, but hopefully it'll be a good
[1:08:36] Speaker 1: one too.
[1:08:37] Speaker 3: Well, we've got a good man on the job when
[1:08:40] Speaker 3: it comes to producing that, so I'm sure that's going
[1:08:43] Speaker 3: to turn out well. I really am. For anyone listening
[1:08:47] Speaker 3: to tonight's show who would like to contact you about
[1:08:50] Speaker 3: a pure normal experience they've had to either try to
[1:08:53] Speaker 3: get help from you, or if they want to be
[1:08:56] Speaker 3: a guest on your show. What's the best way for
[1:08:58] Speaker 3: them to do that?
[1:09:00] Speaker 1: Right? So, I'm really easy to find on Facebook, I'm
[1:09:04] Speaker 1: I mean, you can shoot me a message. I'm really
[1:09:09] Speaker 1: fast at getting back in touch with you on that.
[1:09:13] Speaker 1: You can email me at so my gmail if you
[1:09:17] Speaker 1: would like to get a hold of me that way.
[1:09:18] Speaker 1: For the show, it is Fisher of Spams with an
[1:09:24] Speaker 1: S Nights with an S watch at gmail dot com.
[1:09:30] Speaker 3: Well, that makes it easy, and of course I'll put
[1:09:33] Speaker 3: that in the description for tonight's show. That'll make it
[1:09:35] Speaker 3: even easier yet. But having said that, thanks again so
[1:09:39] Speaker 3: much for coming on and sharing all those experiences with this, Jim,
[1:09:43] Speaker 3: I really appreciate it, and of course telling us about
[1:09:46] Speaker 3: your podcast. I hope it does really well.
[1:09:49] Speaker 1: I hope so too. Man, If I can help one person,
[1:09:52] Speaker 1: then you know what it's worth it, because nothing makes
[1:09:55] Speaker 1: me sadder then to hear that somebody had an experience
[1:10:00] Speaker 1: and now they're afraid to go back into the woods.
[1:10:03] Speaker 1: They're afraid to go fishing or hunting, you know, like,
[1:10:07] Speaker 1: don't let these things, you know, rob you of your
[1:10:11] Speaker 1: joy of life, you know, going out there and experience
[1:10:14] Speaker 1: God's creation, enjoy yourself, have fun, be mindful, yes, but
[1:10:21] Speaker 1: don't let anything defeat you. So you know that's my goal,
[1:10:26] Speaker 1: that's what I want to do.
[1:10:28] Speaker 3: Well, that's awfully admirable. Very few people would care enough
[1:10:31] Speaker 3: to even take a stand on that and try to help,
[1:10:34] Speaker 3: so I'm definitely impressed. Like I said, Jim, thanks again
[1:10:38] Speaker 3: so much for your time and have a great night.
[1:10:47] Speaker 1: That's it for another episode of Bigfoot Eyewitness Radio with

[1:10:55] Speaker 1: like to be a guest on the show, please go

[1:11:01] Speaker 1: to hear from you. Thanks for listening, have a great night.
