Kiki and Medinah are back with a no-guest episode full of stories, laughs, and a little real talk. From church crushes and splits that should’ve stayed retired, to wild mall chaos and situationships that feel more like soul ties, nothing is off-limits. The ladies get reflective about health, stress, and why peace is work (not silence), before diving into this week’s advice letter that mixes astrology with a messy situationship. Whether you’re here for the laughs, the life lessons, or just to hear why soda is basically crack, this episode is for you. 💻 Join the Drinks & Reads Book Club on Patreon www.patreon.com/kikisaidso Join Kiki in Jamaica at Hedo with WBT, Let them Know Kiki Sent You! www.worstbehaviortour.com 📺 Kiki's new show: xoMAN Podcast is out now! [0:07] Speaker 1: the one and only Trenks that the DJ sis And
[0:09] Speaker 1: you're listening to Cocktails Dirty Discussions with Kiki and Medina
[0:13] Speaker 1: Monroe here. Today's cocktail is called Agua man Agua man,
[0:24] Speaker 1: and that's just a little water over some ice because
[0:27] Speaker 1: you bitches need to hydrate.
[0:29] Speaker 2: Drink up, ah white jeesus. Welcome back to Cocktail Shirty Discussions.
[0:35] Speaker 2: You guys. I am Kiki said so hey y'all, I
[0:39] Speaker 2: am Medina Mine Road and welcome back to another episode
[0:43] Speaker 2: of Cocktail Shirty Discussions.
[0:45] Speaker 1: All.
[0:45] Speaker 2: Last week's was very still hot in here. The windows
[0:48] Speaker 2: are fine.
[0:49] Speaker 1: My edges are sweated out, and I had to take
[0:51] Speaker 1: my ponytail down. I just want to apologize my wig
[0:54] Speaker 1: and napped up on the bottom piece. I do not
[0:58] Speaker 1: mean to flirt like that. Oh you did it. No,
[1:00] Speaker 1: he was making a marriage to me, not to like
[1:04] Speaker 1: I am just like, I was like, oh my god, okay,
[1:06] Speaker 1: so it's still in me. My pussy was thumping.
[1:08] Speaker 2: I knew it wasn't I start to day, but I
[1:10] Speaker 2: was like, I don't want to be instigating the situation
[1:13] Speaker 2: anymore than I am.
[1:14] Speaker 1: And that's why you know I don't need to go
[1:15] Speaker 1: on a date with that man. Really, don't you think no?
[1:19] Speaker 2: I mean because it's like the response Kiera would be like, no,
[1:24] Speaker 2: you shouldn't go on a date because I don't think
[1:26] Speaker 2: that you have to self control. Okay, but Kiki wants
[1:29] Speaker 2: you to go. I want to hear the story.
[1:31] Speaker 1: It's like but like it's like the little angels over
[1:34] Speaker 1: here and the little Devil's over here, like go beach go.
[1:36] Speaker 1: You know you want to go. You don't even want
[1:37] Speaker 1: to pop down.
[1:38] Speaker 2: You know it's been a long time since you did
[1:40] Speaker 2: a split.
[1:41] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like, you know, like go go. And then
[1:43] Speaker 1: this one's like Medina, you just gotta say and do
[1:47] Speaker 1: not bring him to church because I'm ready to be
[1:49] Speaker 1: like okay, yeah, because I'm not.
[1:54] Speaker 2: I don't like being in church having lustful thoughts.
[1:57] Speaker 1: I've never been in church with a lustful thought.
[2:00] Speaker 2: I don't go to church with men that I'm attracted
[2:03] Speaker 2: to because I will have lessful thoughts. And I just
[2:05] Speaker 2: be feeling like Jesus is gonna strike me down right.
[2:07] Speaker 1: This is what I'm gonna I'm gonna post what church
[2:08] Speaker 1: I go to and just see if he shows up,
[2:10] Speaker 1: I'm not gonna invite him.
[2:11] Speaker 2: Would I ever make you feel like it's a bit
[2:14] Speaker 2: crazy because he'll see it. But what if somebody else does.
[2:17] Speaker 1: I mean they be seeing me at church? Anyways?
[2:19] Speaker 2: Yeah, but like, okay, go do it. Let's see Joe.
[2:26] Speaker 1: Okay. But he was a great guest. Let's say that
[2:28] Speaker 1: he was a great guess.
[2:29] Speaker 2: He's a great guest. He's very entertaining, very well spoken.
[2:32] Speaker 1: He could clearly answer a question.
[2:34] Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if I would go that far.
[2:36] Speaker 2: He answered some questions with some questions I was. I
[2:39] Speaker 2: felt like I was very clear and he wasn't understanding
[2:42] Speaker 2: me or understanding the question when I simply asked him
[2:46] Speaker 2: if the both of you, if there was an issue,
[2:49] Speaker 2: If you give a man question, they can't get away.
[2:51] Speaker 2: They can't which is which is not clear? So that's
[2:53] Speaker 2: why I'm saying, Nah, I wouldn't say that.
[2:55] Speaker 1: Would you say there was more that? I felt like
[2:57] Speaker 1: he was overall a good guy.
[2:58] Speaker 2: I think he was a typical man in so I
[3:00] Speaker 2: think overall, yes, great guests. Being a clear answer to
[3:04] Speaker 2: like actual questions not so much. But I still think
[3:06] Speaker 2: it was great conversation because he still had thoughts. But
[3:10] Speaker 2: sometimes it seems like, and I find this a lot
[3:12] Speaker 2: with men guests, very generic thoughts, and it's like, but
[3:16] Speaker 2: we really are asking about you, So it's okay that
[3:19] Speaker 2: you're making generalizations, but we do want to know what
[3:21] Speaker 2: you think, and we don't expect you to speak for
[3:23] Speaker 2: all men.
[3:24] Speaker 1: What is your thought?
[3:25] Speaker 2: So you know there is that. But I totally enjoyed
[3:29] Speaker 2: him a plus guest. I would love to have him
[3:31] Speaker 2: back again. There's more questions. I had some too, So
[3:35] Speaker 2: maybe next time he's in town in come and some
[3:39] Speaker 2: of the other guys that were a part of the
[3:41] Speaker 2: show might be good guests too. Do you think the
[3:43] Speaker 2: way y'all talked about.
[3:44] Speaker 1: Them, I now, now, I don't know. I don't know,
[3:47] Speaker 1: but I think just the fact that they're funny, I
[3:49] Speaker 1: feel like I feel like comedians are such good guests.
[3:51] Speaker 1: The host Detroit read he was really funny. Let's I'm
[3:56] Speaker 1: gonna hit him out. I think he lives in Atlanta,
[3:57] Speaker 1: and see if he could come up with the thirteen year
[3:59] Speaker 1: old and not so much. Can't come on here, but
[4:01] Speaker 1: I'll be baby, Yeah, we'll see. We'll see that. Because
[4:04] Speaker 1: comedians are great. What if we did a whole season
[4:07] Speaker 1: of just men. Nah, I can't handle it. No, Yeah,
[4:10] Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
[4:13] Speaker 2: But I mean we recorded fifteen fucking episodes and we
[4:16] Speaker 2: didn't recorded another one since the end of February, and
[4:19] Speaker 2: I'm glad we bulked those up and left them alone,
[4:21] Speaker 2: because like it's a lot, Yeah, especially when you want
[4:25] Speaker 2: them to open. But I would be down to do
[4:28] Speaker 2: like four episodes of like comments. We could do four guys,
[4:32] Speaker 2: four girls. I'm open. I went on a podcast. She
[4:39] Speaker 2: said it first this week it comes out. It came out.
[4:43] Speaker 2: I guess when y'all hear this, it will have come
[4:45] Speaker 2: out the previous Thursday. And I really enjoyed is the
[4:49] Speaker 2: recording with them. I hadn't met them before, and we
[4:53] Speaker 2: had talked with Hugo about like your network and like
[4:56] Speaker 2: pouring into people and all this stuff that we talk
[4:58] Speaker 2: about often. One of the guys who convinced me to
[5:04] Speaker 2: audition to be on the radio when I was in DC,
[5:07] Speaker 2: he's a producer for this show, well their show, but
[5:11] Speaker 2: she said it, but he does something with Urban one,
[5:15] Speaker 2: which is like Radio one, and all of them with
[5:18] Speaker 2: their podcasts, all of the podcasts, Like he's over something
[5:21] Speaker 2: I don't know, but anyway, he hit me up to
[5:24] Speaker 2: come on the show, and I was like, you know,
[5:26] Speaker 2: I was talking to him briefly and I was just
[5:28] Speaker 2: thinking about it, like I've known this guy for a
[5:30] Speaker 2: long time. This is one of my Howard people, and
[5:33] Speaker 2: like we did the radio together and that was like
[5:35] Speaker 2: a close knit group, and I just was glad that
[5:39] Speaker 2: I didn't burn a ton of bridges throughout college and stuff,
[5:42] Speaker 2: because you just never know where people are going to go,
[5:44] Speaker 2: and you never know like who remembers you. You remember people,
[5:47] Speaker 2: but you don't know who remembers you and who will
[5:49] Speaker 2: think of you. So shout out to JAHI. I call
[5:52] Speaker 2: him Jay High because that was his radio name, but
[5:54] Speaker 2: his name is actually JAHI, So shout out to you.
[5:56] Speaker 2: And then there he works with some other people, and
[5:59] Speaker 2: I've been running into a lot of people and I
[6:01] Speaker 2: was like, you must have been talking me up. And
[6:03] Speaker 2: I appreciate that. It's nice when that happens, especially when
[6:07] Speaker 2: you didn't ask, you didn't say anything, you didn't even
[6:09] Speaker 2: know the person thought about you.
[6:10] Speaker 1: It feels good that that's a good feeling. I'm doing
[6:15] Speaker 1: something good, so something right.
[6:16] Speaker 2: Yeah, and we all hear this I'll still be in Dallas,
[6:19] Speaker 2: but hopefully everything went well. Whenever we come back and
[6:22] Speaker 2: we record again, I would love to share whatever happened.
[6:28] Speaker 2: There's a few people that I've already connected with that
[6:30] Speaker 2: I plan to hang out with. I want to see
[6:32] Speaker 2: my friends and family. I'm so happy it's in Dallas
[6:34] Speaker 2: because I feel like, Okay, this is gonna be a
[6:36] Speaker 2: good trip. That's why I'm going ahead of the conference.
[6:38] Speaker 2: A couple of days ahead, I have to say one
[6:41] Speaker 2: of my friends and we also work together, passed away.
[6:46] Speaker 2: He was thirty eight cardiac arrest, just like out of nowhere,
[6:53] Speaker 2: and his funeral is next weekend. I'm not sure if
[6:59] Speaker 2: I'll be able to make it or not. I'm going
[7:01] Speaker 2: to try to, but I just wanted to say that
[7:04] Speaker 2: to remind y'all not only to contact Life or X
[7:07] Speaker 2: aside from plugging our actual sponsors. Is like, think about
[7:10] Speaker 2: your health. I'm saying that with cocktail in hand, but
[7:13] Speaker 2: I do think about it. So you think about it,
[7:15] Speaker 2: especially if you got kids adult Okay, I mean, they're
[7:20] Speaker 2: interesting creatures, they'll be all right, But the adults and
[7:22] Speaker 2: the babies in your family and your wife or whoever,
[7:26] Speaker 2: like life is precious. Even if nothing is wrong with
[7:29] Speaker 2: you health wise, anything could happen, And so I hope
[7:33] Speaker 2: that I start can real reflective around this time of year.
[7:36] Speaker 2: You know, our birthdays are coming up. I hope that everybody,
[7:42] Speaker 2: whenever you decide to do this at the point in
[7:44] Speaker 2: your year, and if you never do it, do it
[7:45] Speaker 2: with us during this time of the year, think about
[7:48] Speaker 2: your life and where you are, where you want to go,
[7:50] Speaker 2: where you came from, and what you want and how
[7:53] Speaker 2: you're going to make those things happen. Not in like
[7:57] Speaker 2: a stressed out situation, but like do you have you.
[7:59] Speaker 1: Been feeling happy lately?
[8:01] Speaker 3: No?
[8:01] Speaker 2: What would make you happy? What little things can I
[8:04] Speaker 2: do to make myself happy? Take a time to reset
[8:06] Speaker 2: and think about that. Because something that we don't talk about.
[8:09] Speaker 2: We talk about being fat, we talk about drugs, we
[8:11] Speaker 2: talk about drinking, we talk about gang shit, all kinds
[8:13] Speaker 2: of things that can kill you. But the stress of
[8:17] Speaker 2: life can take a toll on your body in so
[8:20] Speaker 2: many ways. So I hope that you guys try to
[8:21] Speaker 2: find some happiness and peace and joy and yet every day,
[8:25] Speaker 2: even if it comes in the form of a tall
[8:27] Speaker 2: man with an icy chain, and go, do you and he's.
[8:30] Speaker 1: A comedian name you go. I also just want to
[8:33] Speaker 1: say about the health thing because I just feel like
[8:35] Speaker 1: this has to be said, and I'm really not trying
[8:36] Speaker 1: to be go any but y'all do need to be
[8:38] Speaker 1: healthy and stop being taking so much sugar. If you're
[8:40] Speaker 1: gonna have a lot of sugar, let the sugar be
[8:42] Speaker 1: the alcohol. I mean, I know, alcohola not that.
[8:44] Speaker 2: Great your pison.
[8:45] Speaker 1: You gotta pick your poison. But I want to say
[8:46] Speaker 1: this about like, when I see grown people drinking soda,
[8:49] Speaker 1: it just gets It makes me so sad, especially or
[8:51] Speaker 1: if you're giving your kids soda when they're when we
[8:53] Speaker 1: have options that almost taste the same to me they do.
[8:56] Speaker 1: There is a soda called ollipop. I love a olipod.
[9:00] Speaker 2: They are good, but they don't taste the same.
[9:02] Speaker 1: I like them, and they're good for you. At the
[9:04] Speaker 1: end of the day, it's like I don't need it
[9:05] Speaker 1: to really taste like, you know, whatever it is. They
[9:07] Speaker 1: got a ginger ale version, they got a Coca cola version.
[9:10] Speaker 1: At least if you not gonna do it for yourself,
[9:12] Speaker 1: get it to the children. Is drinking a full can
[9:17] Speaker 1: of Coca cola. It's like a baby doesn't need that.
[9:20] Speaker 1: I don't care if it's an issue with it. The
[9:22] Speaker 1: point is it is not the sugar is just what
[9:25] Speaker 1: it's crack. It's crack. Please y'all try to find the
[9:29] Speaker 1: healthy version of whatever it is that you are in taking.
[9:34] Speaker 1: What you put into your body will expose itself even
[9:37] Speaker 1: if it's not doing it now when you get older.
[9:40] Speaker 1: I mean, I just I've been talking to so many
[9:41] Speaker 1: young people where it's like you're having these issues and
[9:43] Speaker 1: it's because of your everybody. Have you ever talked to
[9:45] Speaker 1: somebody it's like they're going through every other reason as
[9:48] Speaker 1: to what could be wrong except for what you're putting
[9:50] Speaker 1: in your body. I have. I've been talking to this
[9:53] Speaker 1: She's like and you kind of just like fall back
[9:55] Speaker 1: because sometimes people just don't want to hear it's like, yeah,
[9:56] Speaker 1: I'm not giving up my ribs or I'm not giving
[9:58] Speaker 1: up my fried and it's like, I don't care, you're
[10:01] Speaker 1: gonna be I don't.
[10:02] Speaker 2: Choose to engage in those like m M. But I
[10:05] Speaker 2: mean not to tell people not to drink the lollipops.
[10:08] Speaker 2: I like them. But I just wanted to put that
[10:11] Speaker 2: out there. While we're talking about health, there was something
[10:13] Speaker 2: about them and how they market them to be certain things.
[10:16] Speaker 2: So not the sugar aspect, but it's the probiotic thing, y'all.
[10:20] Speaker 2: Get y'all being more hell, I'm worrying about the sugar part.
[10:23] Speaker 2: Sugar is literally like like crack. Like watch the documentary
[10:27] Speaker 2: on Netflix and do ash judgebt.
[10:29] Speaker 1: You don't even have to look that hard. It's really
[10:31] Speaker 1: especially for kids. If you're an adult, you want to
[10:32] Speaker 1: do see yourself, but for the children, it's just to try,
[10:36] Speaker 1: just try to make a better uh choice. I want
[10:43] Speaker 1: to remind you, guys to save the Tata's two point
[10:45] Speaker 1: zero Breast Cancer Awareness Walk is October twenty fifth in Tampa, Florida.
[10:50] Speaker 1: One of my good girlfriends lost her mother to breast cancer.
[10:53] Speaker 1: The foundation is called Lula's Legacy of Love Foundation, and
[10:57] Speaker 1: it's one of the very very few breast cancer or
[11:00] Speaker 1: organizations in the US that specifically is dedicated to serving
[11:03] Speaker 1: African American women. They have a mission to bridge the
[11:06] Speaker 1: gap in the care for minority women and so they
[11:09] Speaker 1: help get wigs, they help you go get your checkups.
[11:12] Speaker 1: So make sure you guys donate or attend the walk.
[11:14] Speaker 1: Go to www Dot Lula's Legacy of Love Foundation dot org.
[11:23] Speaker 2: And you have any other announcements.
[11:26] Speaker 1: Lover Girls Trip is in full effect. Y'all is five
[11:28] Speaker 1: spots left and if they fill up by the time
[11:31] Speaker 1: you hear this, still join because you can be added
[11:35] Speaker 1: to a waitlist because since the trip is a year away,
[11:38] Speaker 1: if someone, if something comes up for someone, we can
[11:41] Speaker 1: fill that gap with you on the waitlist. So we'll
[11:44] Speaker 1: put the link in the description for you to attend.
[11:47] Speaker 1: It's gonna be a really good time. We're gonna get
[11:49] Speaker 1: matching tattoos, and we have amazing I put together like
[11:54] Speaker 1: a I know the company is like reach, this is
[11:56] Speaker 1: what we do. I was like, well, I've got some
[11:58] Speaker 1: other stuff. So I put together a super curated itinerary
[12:01] Speaker 1: for the girls, the lover girls of the world that
[12:03] Speaker 1: got their heart stomped on uh recently and when I
[12:07] Speaker 1: say recently, the past five years. Bitch, if you was sad,
[12:09] Speaker 1: even if you happy, now come come have a good
[12:11] Speaker 1: time with the girls. We have a group chat going.
[12:13] Speaker 1: It's really great. We start off with a morning inspiration,
[12:16] Speaker 1: ended with a night an evening question and just it's
[12:18] Speaker 1: always all these discussions going on, learning what people are
[12:21] Speaker 1: going through, what you're struggling with what you need to
[12:22] Speaker 1: help with. So if you want to come, if you
[12:25] Speaker 1: want to join that community, make sure you look at
[12:27] Speaker 1: our descriptions and click that link. Also, I will be
[12:29] Speaker 1: doing a how to write your will by the time
[12:32] Speaker 1: you read this. By the time you hear this, it
[12:33] Speaker 1: might have already happened. But I'm gonna make this a
[12:35] Speaker 1: reoccurring thing because again, health and planning for your death death,
[12:39] Speaker 1: some of us struggle with that. And you should have
[12:42] Speaker 1: a will if you were an adult, if you own anything,
[12:44] Speaker 1: you should have a will.
[12:46] Speaker 2: So, yeah, you guys, do you know where you're staying
[12:50] Speaker 2: in Thailand? Yeah?
[12:52] Speaker 1: I do, but I don't know what I've stopped my
[12:53] Speaker 1: head honestly. Yeah, but if you join, if you get
[12:56] Speaker 1: the trip, you will definitely see the hotel one of
[12:58] Speaker 1: them stars of the and I think I stay they're
[13:00] Speaker 1: the last time I went to Tyler really the one
[13:02] Speaker 1: in Bangkok, not Fouquet, but because.
[13:04] Speaker 2: Those are the two cities, are going to right, Okay.
[13:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll start off in Bangkok and then we'll stay
[13:10] Speaker 1: in Bangkok for a few days and then we will
[13:11] Speaker 1: fly to Fuquet and ended in Fuquet, and Fuquet is
[13:14] Speaker 1: a Fuqut is the party city, so you go there.
[13:17] Speaker 1: There's the beaches. We're gonna have a boat day and
[13:19] Speaker 1: tour all the different islands and Peepee Island. I'm really
[13:23] Speaker 1: excited about this trip because it's just very intentional. It's
[13:26] Speaker 1: all me. It's not a paradise and vibe trip. However,
[13:29] Speaker 1: if you do want to steal, come to go to
[13:31] Speaker 1: the paradiviobe dot com and come see me interview Easter
[13:33] Speaker 1: Ray if it hasn't happened by the time this comes out.
[13:36] Speaker 1: And thank you guys just for supporting me. I'm really
[13:38] Speaker 1: I'm always like overwhelmed by the amount of support that
[13:42] Speaker 1: we get through cocktails, that I get through any other
[13:45] Speaker 1: thing that I ever tell anybody about. I really, I
[13:49] Speaker 1: just I appreciate you guys so much. Sometimes I feel
[13:51] Speaker 1: like I know you and I don't.
[13:54] Speaker 2: It does feel good. I want to remind you guys
[13:57] Speaker 2: to join my book club this month. We are reading
[14:00] Speaker 2: a book like Kimberly Brown if you ever love me,
[14:03] Speaker 2: I think it's the name of it. We are trying
[14:07] Speaker 2: to have her at the meeting. I will let you
[14:09] Speaker 2: guys know for sure if she will be there or not.
[14:11] Speaker 2: I'll post it I have a Patreon specifically for the
[14:14] Speaker 2: book club, and we have a really good group of ladies.
[14:16] Speaker 2: A lot of times people don't join the meetings, and
[14:20] Speaker 2: I want to take a second to remind y'all, I
[14:22] Speaker 2: did it this summer, and then more people started actually
[14:25] Speaker 2: joining the meeting, because people will sign up, but they
[14:28] Speaker 2: don't ever join the meeting. So it's like, there's all
[14:30] Speaker 2: these people in the book club, but we have the
[14:32] Speaker 2: same like fifteen to twenty that show up every time.
[14:35] Speaker 2: So it's a little curious about that, like what's going on?
[14:38] Speaker 2: And then I realize, Oh, some people aren't coming because
[14:42] Speaker 2: they didn't finish the book on time, or you know,
[14:45] Speaker 2: little things like that. You guys, it is a stress
[14:49] Speaker 2: free environment. If you didn't read the book, if you
[14:51] Speaker 2: didn't finish the book, we are not snooty at all
[14:54] Speaker 2: about it. If you didn't read it and you don't
[14:57] Speaker 2: want spoilers, then yeah, don't join. But if you don't
[15:00] Speaker 2: mind the spoilers, you want to come and chitchat We
[15:03] Speaker 2: talk about the book, and then just like any other
[15:06] Speaker 2: rendition of a Housewives version of a book club on
[15:11] Speaker 2: TV that you would see, we talk about all kinds
[15:13] Speaker 2: of stuff. It isn't so wonderful for me being able
[15:18] Speaker 2: to make friends with some of these ladies, meet different people,
[15:22] Speaker 2: hear other perspectives.
[15:24] Speaker 1: To me, that's.
[15:24] Speaker 2: Always like the joy in doing things where you get
[15:28] Speaker 2: to meet different people. Because I only know what I know.
[15:32] Speaker 2: I only feel what I feel, and until I talk
[15:35] Speaker 2: to people and listen to people, I'll never have those
[15:39] Speaker 2: other things because some things that are like I will
[15:41] Speaker 2: never think that way or how did you even get there?
[15:44] Speaker 2: Is just like second nature to someone else. So I
[15:48] Speaker 2: just think it helps with so many different aspects of life.
[15:51] Speaker 2: But anyway, it's a great group of women. Y'all can
[15:54] Speaker 2: join by going to patreon dot com. Slash Kiki said,
[15:56] Speaker 2: So now the conference. I'll tell you guys about that later,
[16:01] Speaker 2: and I am seriously considering doing some things for I
[16:06] Speaker 2: don't know if it'll be a bootcamp or a digital
[16:09] Speaker 2: thing or what, but if you are interested in learning
[16:12] Speaker 2: more about podcasting media, digital media specifically, and things in
[16:18] Speaker 2: that realm, please send me an email or a DM.
[16:22] Speaker 2: I would prefer an email, And I will also be
[16:26] Speaker 2: posting soon, so make sure that you are following me
[16:28] Speaker 2: on all the platforms. I've been posting stuff, y'all, because
[16:32] Speaker 2: pretty soon I will be looking for some interns for
[16:37] Speaker 2: some upcoming things that are going on, and these are
[16:39] Speaker 2: internships for college students. It will be twelve weeks. So
[16:43] Speaker 2: if when y'all hear this, if everything is ready to go,
[16:46] Speaker 2: there will be a form that you can click in
[16:48] Speaker 2: the description to fill it out. If not, you know,
[16:50] Speaker 2: you can send me an email or DM and I'll
[16:52] Speaker 2: let you know. And then also lastly, make sure you
[16:55] Speaker 2: guys are checking out the Xoman podcast where I sit
[16:59] Speaker 2: an interview black man every single week about different aspects
[17:02] Speaker 2: of black masculinity and their experience through it. It has
[17:07] Speaker 2: really been an eye opening experience to me. I really
[17:09] Speaker 2: am listening to them and I've got thoughts and I
[17:13] Speaker 2: would love for y'all to tune into the show to
[17:15] Speaker 2: hear them. I think the next episode when you'll hear this,
[17:19] Speaker 2: it's either my friend Ferrari Simmons, who is also a
[17:23] Speaker 2: radio personality and a father and just an actual good guy.
[17:27] Speaker 2: I think it's either him or well, I don't know,
[17:32] Speaker 2: Hopefully it's him. If it's not him, you just heard him,
[17:34] Speaker 2: So make sure you check out the episode. And there's
[17:36] Speaker 2: a ton of other people, all right, y'all, let's talk
[17:39] Speaker 2: about something that I didn't realize I needed to fully upgrade,
[17:44] Speaker 2: not know going halfway in putting a little toe in
[17:47] Speaker 2: the pool. I really needed to upgrade my whole bedroom set,
[17:53] Speaker 2: not just the mattress. So I upgraded the mattress to
[17:56] Speaker 2: a Brooklyn Betting mattress. I think the model is the Sedon.
[18:00] Speaker 2: I'm an elite. I got a queen size bed. It
[18:03] Speaker 2: is so comfortable. But not only did I neath that,
[18:07] Speaker 2: I got the cooling pillows too, and I got two
[18:12] Speaker 2: of those, and then I also got some sheets, and
[18:14] Speaker 2: then you know what else. You know, I've had a
[18:16] Speaker 2: lot of fun times in my day in my bed,
[18:18] Speaker 2: those slats up under the mattress, those slats, and it's
[18:29] Speaker 2: been a long time since I had somebody in mind.
[18:30] Speaker 2: So I should have been fixed this. I put the
[18:32] Speaker 2: new mattress on the old slats, but I should have
[18:35] Speaker 2: waited and got the whole new bed system. So now
[18:38] Speaker 2: that I have a better base, y'all check them slats
[18:40] Speaker 2: up under your bed if you have them, or whatever's
[18:42] Speaker 2: going on underneath, because you know, I'm being a little
[18:45] Speaker 2: rocky sometimes. New mattress, new sheets, new pillows. I went
[18:49] Speaker 2: from feeling like I just had a street fight the
[18:54] Speaker 2: night before every day when I was waking up, or
[18:56] Speaker 2: like I wanted to fight somebody because I'm just I
[18:59] Speaker 2: just was in pain too, feeling like a princess when
[19:03] Speaker 2: I woke up, like there must have been somebody massaging
[19:06] Speaker 2: me while I was sleeping. I don't know how I
[19:09] Speaker 2: slept so good, and I don't know how I called
[19:11] Speaker 2: myself sleeping before Brooklyn Betting, y'all need to just throw
[19:15] Speaker 2: it all in the car, okay, to upgrade everything I am.
[19:18] Speaker 1: I want to get a comforter. I want to get
[19:20] Speaker 1: like the extra pillow top on the matches. I too
[19:22] Speaker 1: have the Sedona Elite mattress. And when I get up,
[19:25] Speaker 1: I don't want to get up. It's so hard for
[19:27] Speaker 1: me to get up out of the bed. And it's
[19:28] Speaker 1: just so comfortable. It feels like the soft life that
[19:31] Speaker 1: you wish your man would provide for you. And it
[19:33] Speaker 1: turns into a debate every time you just be like,
[19:34] Speaker 1: I just want to I just want to have soft life.
[19:36] Speaker 1: The Sedona Elite mattress gives it to you. You feel like
[19:39] Speaker 1: you have woken up and just everything is taken care of.
[19:41] Speaker 1: It's hard for me to get out of that bed.
[19:43] Speaker 1: Those pillows though, they're cooling gel pillows, And I was like,
[19:47] Speaker 1: am I really gonna feel cooler when I sleep? Because
[19:49] Speaker 1: I did get a little hot when I sleep. I
[19:51] Speaker 1: need a fan on now. I didn't used to be
[19:52] Speaker 1: like that. I need the fan on high. And that
[19:56] Speaker 1: look cooling pillow.
[19:57] Speaker 2: It helps heavyweighted Like it's just a different type of sleep.
[20:04] Speaker 2: It's like laying on a man's chest. So it works out,
[20:07] Speaker 2: but like doesn't work out so hard that you know
[20:09] Speaker 2: he's on them shots and all kinds of other drugs.
[20:12] Speaker 2: It's just like a good muscle, but not too much.
[20:15] Speaker 1: Yeah, like he cares about you. He gonna support you.
[20:19] Speaker 1: I mean, I just really have the sheets also and
[20:21] Speaker 1: the pillowcases, and I just feel like a real adult.
[20:24] Speaker 4: I do too.
[20:25] Speaker 2: And y'all let's be we're all adults here. If you're
[20:27] Speaker 2: not an adult, I don't know why you listening to
[20:29] Speaker 2: us who are adults. And it's time to invest in
[20:31] Speaker 2: things like this, Like we talk about going to the doctor.
[20:34] Speaker 2: We've talked about like losing weight and staying healthy in
[20:37] Speaker 2: that way, but we still have to no matter what
[20:39] Speaker 2: phase you are in that part of your journey. You
[20:41] Speaker 2: got to take care of yourself on the outside too,
[20:44] Speaker 2: from the outside to the inside. Having that support while
[20:47] Speaker 2: you rest is going to help your bones for real,
[20:50] Speaker 2: and my attitude so probably yours too.
[20:52] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a part of wellness. If you're constantly buying
[20:56] Speaker 1: things and spending hundreds of dollars on your hair, your
[20:59] Speaker 1: upkeep the door dash door dash, Like. I want you

[21:36] Speaker 2: getting trusted out fashion. Iv Ha been texting me, did
[21:38] Speaker 2: you see anything anywhere about she in having a store
[21:43] Speaker 2: in Atlanta?
[21:44] Speaker 1: A pop up app so people.
[21:47] Speaker 2: Just want to look.
[21:48] Speaker 1: I knew I wasn't going. I knew it was gonna
[21:49] Speaker 1: be crazy.
[21:50] Speaker 2: I didn't go.
[21:51] Speaker 1: I wasn't even going. Well. I was like, I'm not
[21:53] Speaker 1: gonna go little fifty cent outfits. Not that I love
[21:56] Speaker 1: a good she in, but I knew it was gonna
[21:57] Speaker 1: be crazy. Did you see that line?
[21:58] Speaker 2: No, I didn't see none of it. I just saw
[22:00] Speaker 2: she in with people. It was the steal before you
[22:02] Speaker 2: click the video. I didn't even click the video. It
[22:05] Speaker 2: was gonna be chaos.
[22:06] Speaker 1: That straightening out chaotic. However, my home.
[22:09] Speaker 2: Brother me about it. They don't live here, they live
[22:12] Speaker 2: in Texas, and they were like is this First one
[22:15] Speaker 2: was like is this real? She texted met like two am.
[22:17] Speaker 2: She's a nurse, she works overnights, so she text me.
[22:19] Speaker 2: She's like is this real? Say, oh yeah sorry. The
[22:21] Speaker 2: other one text me this morning she's like, were you there?
[22:23] Speaker 1: Girl?
[22:24] Speaker 2: Hell no, y'all know I don't like to shop in person.
[22:27] Speaker 2: It is stressful as too many people. Did you see
[22:29] Speaker 2: the little girl who somebody reported her for shoplifting and
[22:34] Speaker 2: she went and found she's a little girl, like little,
[22:37] Speaker 2: like eighten like little. You know, she don't look like
[22:41] Speaker 2: no teenager. She saw them ladies, went up the escalator,
[22:44] Speaker 2: bought them, drag them bopped them, dragged one lady by
[22:49] Speaker 2: the hair was her mom?
[22:50] Speaker 1: I don't know.
[22:51] Speaker 2: I mean she was in there stealing, so I don't
[22:52] Speaker 2: think her mama was with her, But I don't know
[22:54] Speaker 2: where her mama was. Maybe she was the one filming that.
[22:57] Speaker 2: I don't know. It seemed like just a bystander was like,
[23:00] Speaker 2: what is going on from the other side of the mall. Anyway,
[23:01] Speaker 2: she went up there, She drugged the woman by her hair,
[23:04] Speaker 2: threw her bag over her back, went back down the escalator,
[23:07] Speaker 2: and proceeded to walk up the mall. You know she was.
[23:12] Speaker 1: Wait, I feel like I missed so much. Why does
[23:14] Speaker 1: she do that?
[23:15] Speaker 2: She just won because the ladies told on her for stealing,
[23:18] Speaker 2: so she wasn't actually stealing. Yeah, she wasn't innocent by
[23:22] Speaker 2: no means.
[23:23] Speaker 1: And she was a white girl, and she went and
[23:25] Speaker 1: beat the other white ladies up.
[23:28] Speaker 2: Well she I wouldn't say she beat them up because
[23:30] Speaker 2: they were grown women and they knew better than to
[23:32] Speaker 2: fight a little kid.
[23:33] Speaker 1: Because jail bitch, who the fuck are you?
[23:39] Speaker 2: And I may not get it, but it's like have
[23:41] Speaker 2: some self control. And they were probably also in shock
[23:43] Speaker 2: because who thinks that little mini mouse is gonna come
[23:46] Speaker 2: up and do this anyway. Anyway, I have spent a
[23:48] Speaker 2: lot of time on the internet. I have been posting
[23:50] Speaker 2: on the Tiki took follow me and talk to me.
[23:54] Speaker 2: I've been hosting little things. My sisters sending me stuff.
[23:57] Speaker 2: Anybody in well making of sisters, my sister recording she
[24:01] Speaker 2: still calling. I see sister, sister, sister is going on
[24:04] Speaker 2: that phone.
[24:05] Speaker 1: Is Oh no, I just wanted to talk I met.
[24:13] Speaker 2: Anyways.
[24:13] Speaker 1: I was gonna ask you that doing the X Man podcast,
[24:17] Speaker 1: are you gaining like a sensitivity for men like that
[24:21] Speaker 1: you haven't had sensitivity?
[24:23] Speaker 2: No better understanding?
[24:24] Speaker 1: Yes, Okay, why I know sensitivity? M I don't know.
[24:31] Speaker 2: Maybe I don't have that uh whatever hormony you need
[24:34] Speaker 2: for that, I don't know. I'm very sensitive, but I
[24:37] Speaker 2: don't have a greater sensitivity for them. But I have, uh,
[24:43] Speaker 2: I'm more apt to listen.
[24:46] Speaker 1: I mean, I don't even know.
[24:47] Speaker 2: What a greater sensitivity for them would look like or
[24:50] Speaker 2: sound like for me. Actually, I guess that's why I
[24:53] Speaker 2: can't say yes. But I know that I feel like
[24:56] Speaker 2: a better understanding and I know that.
[25:01] Speaker 1: Like, have you noticed it has transferred into your personal life?
[25:04] Speaker 1: On like maybe how you treat men, not assuming that
[25:06] Speaker 1: you treat them a certain way, but just have it.
[25:08] Speaker 1: Are you like, oh, wow, okay, I'm listening to this,
[25:10] Speaker 1: or I'm.
[25:10] Speaker 2: Willing and not assuming that I treat because.
[25:13] Speaker 1: I don't want people to be like, well is she
[25:14] Speaker 1: treating the missione?
[25:15] Speaker 2: Well, we're all thinking it. It's fine. In certain times,
[25:21] Speaker 2: I will try to like, oh, let me remember what's
[25:24] Speaker 2: such and such said, because he said something, I put
[25:26] Speaker 2: a pin in it, I put it in my notes.
[25:28] Speaker 2: Where's my note? Let me let me find it. Like
[25:30] Speaker 2: there are a few things where it's I never looked
[25:32] Speaker 2: at it like that. Let me change my perspective. But
[25:36] Speaker 2: then it's hard to say that I'm sensitive because when
[25:39] Speaker 2: I try.
[25:40] Speaker 1: It's somebody to do that and you're like, this is
[25:42] Speaker 1: why I don't fuck with y'all for real.
[25:44] Speaker 2: Or it's like I try to like be that whatever
[25:47] Speaker 2: the men have collectively said that they need basically, and okay.
[25:51] Speaker 1: I get it.
[25:51] Speaker 2: It makes me sense. It makes sense to me, but
[25:54] Speaker 2: it hasn't gotten me to the point of anybody like
[25:57] Speaker 2: not doing what I thought or hoped or want to
[26:00] Speaker 2: them to do, where I feel like I'm just never
[26:02] Speaker 2: gonna do it. I just maybe more since I don't know.
[26:06] Speaker 2: I don't know what the word is. But what I
[26:08] Speaker 2: do know is I have a better understanding of why
[26:13] Speaker 2: so many of them do not do well with expressing
[26:18] Speaker 2: their feelings because a lot of times they don't know
[26:23] Speaker 2: how to identify their feelings, they don't know what it is,
[26:25] Speaker 2: they can't put the word to it because they're so
[26:28] Speaker 2: used to suppressing it. And I think that the biggest
[26:32] Speaker 2: thing that makes me be able to do this is
[26:36] Speaker 2: because sometimes I feel the same way. I think I've
[26:39] Speaker 2: got way too much testosterone. And there have been been
[26:42] Speaker 2: noy'll joke about like I'm too much of a nigga
[26:45] Speaker 2: for them, and I get it. But I do think
[26:48] Speaker 2: sometimes like suppressing emotions and things like that, I have
[26:50] Speaker 2: that in common with a lot of men, or not
[26:53] Speaker 2: wanting to talk about things. I ask the question to
[26:55] Speaker 2: you and you go because sometimes I feel that way,
[26:58] Speaker 2: like when somebody is asking me about what's wrong, what's wrong?
[27:02] Speaker 2: What's wrong? Sometimes because I'm anticipating the feelings that I
[27:08] Speaker 2: think I will have when I say these things out loud,
[27:11] Speaker 2: and I'm anticipating them because when I've done it by myself,
[27:14] Speaker 2: that's what happens. So if I'm telling you all this
[27:16] Speaker 2: and I go through this emotional roller coaster, but all
[27:19] Speaker 2: I'm doing is like letting you listen to me, and
[27:23] Speaker 2: there's no solution, I don't always feel like I have
[27:27] Speaker 2: the mental capacity or emotional capacity to go through that
[27:31] Speaker 2: roller coaster, so I won't because there is no solution.
[27:36] Speaker 2: Right now, you don't have a solution. I don't want
[27:39] Speaker 2: to let all of these feelings out because I know
[27:41] Speaker 2: like the ripple effect that it has for me. Not
[27:43] Speaker 2: that I can't ever let them out, but sometimes it
[27:46] Speaker 2: is so annoying to me when somebody picks at you
[27:48] Speaker 2: and picks it you and picks at you to open
[27:50] Speaker 2: up and express a feeling. You express the feeling, and
[27:54] Speaker 2: it's like, well, what did you really ask me for?
[27:56] Speaker 2: Because in the end, nothing you did change. Something might
[28:00] Speaker 2: happen later. You act like you don't understand when I
[28:02] Speaker 2: poured my heart out, so you weren't really listening. You
[28:05] Speaker 2: sat there like a listening ear. It's just like little
[28:08] Speaker 2: things like that. So that's a work in progress for
[28:11] Speaker 2: me because I have to remind myself that because I
[28:13] Speaker 2: had an experience with one person, or even if I
[28:15] Speaker 2: had an experience, Like if I have an experience with
[28:17] Speaker 2: you today, that doesn't mean that every time in the
[28:20] Speaker 2: future something similar happens, the experience is going to have
[28:24] Speaker 2: the same outcome where both people we are both working
[28:28] Speaker 2: on ourselves and doing things. So it's like, you gotta
[28:31] Speaker 2: if you don't want somebody to hold you to who
[28:32] Speaker 2: you have been or who they think you are, you
[28:35] Speaker 2: can't do that to other people. So it's just like
[28:36] Speaker 2: a lot And sometimes I don't feel like it, and
[28:39] Speaker 2: so I'll say that and people don't like it, and
[28:43] Speaker 2: I get that, but it's like I don't like it either,
[28:45] Speaker 2: So what makes your feelings more important than mine? And
[28:49] Speaker 2: I've been having to be more firm on that. But
[28:51] Speaker 2: it's really interesting to hear some of the things that
[28:54] Speaker 2: really make them feel the way that they feel, because
[28:58] Speaker 2: sometimes it's really simple, and I was thinking it would
[29:00] Speaker 2: be something deeper, Like I've said this to a few
[29:03] Speaker 2: people when they ask about it. Men acting out and
[29:07] Speaker 2: like doing what I would just call dumb shit like
[29:10] Speaker 2: attention seeking behavior and stuff like that. I have all
[29:14] Speaker 2: these ideas about why it is, but this guy on
[29:16] Speaker 2: the show was like, they just want to feel seen
[29:19] Speaker 2: and they don't even know how to be seen, so
[29:21] Speaker 2: they just do stuff and they're not connecting it because
[29:24] Speaker 2: they're not self aware enough to understand. But a lot
[29:26] Speaker 2: of black men don't feel seen. And I was like,
[29:29] Speaker 2: that is something so small. But I can see that
[29:31] Speaker 2: in every black man I know pretty much. How like
[29:33] Speaker 2: some of the things that they did, you probably just
[29:35] Speaker 2: wanted to feel seen and you hadn't been, and that sucks.
[29:39] Speaker 2: I can only imagine what that must feel like to
[29:42] Speaker 2: be them. But overall, like talking to them is, I
[29:46] Speaker 2: like it. Even when I don't agree with them or
[29:50] Speaker 2: I don't truly understand how they arrived at like how
[29:55] Speaker 2: they look at life and how they think, it's still
[29:58] Speaker 2: interesting to hear their reasoning. And I'm okay with not agreeing.
[30:02] Speaker 2: It's not something where it's like, okay, you need to
[30:05] Speaker 2: we have to see each other and we have to
[30:06] Speaker 2: reach an agreement at the end. No, I just want
[30:09] Speaker 2: to hear men, and hear you when I think that
[30:12] Speaker 2: you are actually saying what you feel versus what you
[30:16] Speaker 2: think people want to hear. Because I be's so tired
[30:19] Speaker 2: of the performative stuff online, you.
[30:21] Speaker 1: Know, I'll be tired of the and this ain't even online.
[30:23] Speaker 1: This is just in real life, what is wrong with you?
[30:25] Speaker 1: Like I just don't I'm and this.
[30:27] Speaker 2: Is somebody asking you that or no, you know, for.
[30:29] Speaker 1: Men sometimes like the more that I like listen to everyone,
[30:32] Speaker 1: Like you said, like sometimes it don't even be that
[30:34] Speaker 1: big of a deal, but you've caused so much chaos
[30:36] Speaker 1: around this thing that's not a big deal. And at
[30:38] Speaker 1: the end of the day, it is twenty twenty five
[30:41] Speaker 1: and we have the tools and the more. Sometimes there's
[30:44] Speaker 1: this like common saying with men where they're like, I
[30:47] Speaker 1: just want peace, and then you'll ask me question peaceful,
[30:51] Speaker 1: what are you doing? Like it's very hard. And again,
[30:54] Speaker 1: if you're not in a relationship with somebody or you're
[30:56] Speaker 1: not trying to have an it's your sex. I'm not,
[30:58] Speaker 1: this isn't for you. But if you are, if you're
[31:00] Speaker 1: in a marriage, or if you have something binding you
[31:01] Speaker 1: to a person like a kid, like it's like, how
[31:05] Speaker 1: do you figure everything else out? You want to you
[31:08] Speaker 1: we know how to work towards a goal. Accomplishing a goal,
[31:11] Speaker 1: there was something that you wanted to accomplish, you dealt
[31:13] Speaker 1: with the ebbs and the flows, the herds and the
[31:16] Speaker 1: easy parts, all of the journey of like whatever it
[31:19] Speaker 1: is that you were trying to accomplish, and everybody has
[31:21] Speaker 1: different goals and you can watch a man like go
[31:25] Speaker 1: through it and be like, I'm gonna figure it out.
[31:28] Speaker 1: And then when it comes down to like certain things
[31:30] Speaker 1: where it's like you say you love the person, you
[31:32] Speaker 1: want to be with the person. In some instances you're
[31:35] Speaker 1: married to the person, and you actually said vows, you
[31:37] Speaker 1: promised these things, and now all of a sudden it's
[31:39] Speaker 1: like I don't know what to do and there's no tools.
[31:41] Speaker 1: And then you'd be like, have you read a book
[31:42] Speaker 1: about relationships? No, I don't need to do that. You do,
[31:46] Speaker 1: but you do. And I've been having a lot of
[31:49] Speaker 1: personal conversations with men who are going not men I'm
[31:52] Speaker 1: attracted to not it's not a relationship, just friends and
[31:55] Speaker 1: family members. And then you ask like, so what have
[31:59] Speaker 1: you done to work on it? And if the question
[32:03] Speaker 1: if the answer is always like, well, I don't need
[32:05] Speaker 1: to talk about it, I don't know. You do, though,
[32:07] Speaker 1: like you do. And so sometimes with men it's just
[32:09] Speaker 1: like just because you don't want to feel uncomfortable with
[32:12] Speaker 1: the emotions, that doesn't mean that you just get a
[32:15] Speaker 1: way out to not if you're sharing a life with someone, like,
[32:19] Speaker 1: have your space and have your boundaries. But sometimes it's
[32:22] Speaker 1: it feels like when men are like, well, I just
[32:24] Speaker 1: want my piece. All men want is peace, but you're
[32:28] Speaker 1: not actually peaceful. You can't be if you're not working
[32:31] Speaker 1: through what is causing you chaos in you and you
[32:35] Speaker 1: never want to work on it. How do you? Sometimes
[32:38] Speaker 1: it seems like peace means you don't want anybody to
[32:40] Speaker 1: bring anything up, and that that's so.
[32:42] Speaker 2: Does I think that you guys think peace sings silence.
[32:46] Speaker 2: Peace and silence are not the same thing.
[32:49] Speaker 1: Piece is work and peace.
[32:52] Speaker 2: Like if you don't know what makes you feel at piece,
[32:55] Speaker 2: that's okay, read a book you can figure it out, right.
[32:59] Speaker 2: But when somebody like you say you want peace, anybody
[33:03] Speaker 2: listen to this man or woman right now, you should
[33:05] Speaker 2: ask yourself what would it look like, feel like, sound like,
[33:09] Speaker 2: tastes like, feel like to be at peace in this
[33:13] Speaker 2: very moment. You might not know, and that's okay. If
[33:18] Speaker 2: we don't know.
[33:19] Speaker 1: Seek the information.
[33:21] Speaker 2: Like, try different things, talk to people, get in touch
[33:25] Speaker 2: with your emotions. Reading books is cool, but also you
[33:29] Speaker 2: can't read a book and get the answers if you
[33:33] Speaker 2: don't know what's troubling you, So you got.
[33:35] Speaker 1: When you read the book, you start to be like, oh,
[33:38] Speaker 1: identify with that. You can't just sit here and be like,
[33:41] Speaker 1: something's wrong and I don't want to talk about it
[33:43] Speaker 1: and I don't want to know anything about it.
[33:45] Speaker 2: So I hope that anybody who is looking for peace
[33:48] Speaker 2: right now and doesn't feel it in their life like you,
[33:50] Speaker 2: do some introspective work, read some books, talk to the lady.
[33:54] Speaker 2: I'm being serious, and just really figure out how you feel.
[34:00] Speaker 2: You can talk to other people, but I'm not adding
[34:03] Speaker 2: that to my list of suggestions only because I think oftentimes,
[34:07] Speaker 2: when you already don't know, you can let other people's ideas, thoughts,
[34:12] Speaker 2: and feelings intrude your own and cause confusion when you
[34:16] Speaker 2: already don't know how you feel. And so I don't
[34:20] Speaker 2: want you to look outside of yourself to figure out
[34:23] Speaker 2: what's wrong or certain things now how to fix it? Now,
[34:26] Speaker 2: that's you're gonna need some help. But like, what is
[34:28] Speaker 2: troubling you? Are you upset because you don't like your
[34:31] Speaker 2: whole life? Are you upset because you don't like the
[34:33] Speaker 2: person that you're with and you're scared to break up?
[34:35] Speaker 2: Are you upset because you don't know how to vocalize
[34:39] Speaker 2: your feelings and you feel the person slipping away from
[34:41] Speaker 2: you and you don't want to lose them, but you
[34:43] Speaker 2: don't know how figure out what it is because you
[34:46] Speaker 2: can't fix something when you don't even know what the
[34:49] Speaker 2: fuck is broke, and when it's like taking your car
[34:52] Speaker 2: to get fixed and you keep spending all this money
[34:55] Speaker 2: and you don't know what the fuck is wrong, and
[34:57] Speaker 2: they keep fixing everything but the right thing. So like, yeah.
[35:01] Speaker 1: One of my guy friends was talking to me about
[35:03] Speaker 1: some things, some feelings that he was having and some
[35:04] Speaker 1: issues he was having. In my My goals was always
[35:07] Speaker 1: gonna be okay. Let's say you're like, I don't like
[35:08] Speaker 1: to read, which I hate that read a book. But
[35:12] Speaker 1: I was like, okay, well my next go to. Have
[35:15] Speaker 1: you tried hot yoga? Y'all high yoga? It doesn't allow
[35:22] Speaker 1: you to hide? Because he was like, what, you don't
[35:24] Speaker 1: have to become a yoga go to, I mean a
[35:26] Speaker 1: yoga go to. You want to be a yogi, go
[35:29] Speaker 1: to a hot yoga class in your community, preferably if
[35:32] Speaker 1: you could go to be high in Atlanta, go to
[35:34] Speaker 1: Ayana Edwards class. It changes your life because when you
[35:38] Speaker 1: do hot yoga, whether you want to continue it or not,
[35:41] Speaker 1: hot yoga makes you face yourself. You don't have to
[35:44] Speaker 1: tell anybody else, you don't have to read a book,
[35:46] Speaker 1: you don't even have to talk about it. When you
[35:48] Speaker 1: get in hot yoga, it makes you face yourself and
[35:52] Speaker 1: see where you're truly at, and you'll either come back
[35:56] Speaker 1: and do it again or you'll be like, I don't
[35:58] Speaker 1: want to see this again. You have to look in
[35:59] Speaker 1: the you have to at least try to get in alignment.
[36:03] Speaker 1: You don't have to be perfect, but it shows you
[36:05] Speaker 1: where you're at, and it is, oh my, it's so
[36:08] Speaker 1: intertwined with relationships, with how you communicate, with how you
[36:11] Speaker 1: do business, with how it's just a beautiful it's to me,
[36:15] Speaker 1: it's art and it's like if you really are struggling,
[36:17] Speaker 1: you're like, I don't know what the fuck do and
[36:18] Speaker 1: I don't want to talk to nobody. Go do a
[36:20] Speaker 1: hot yoga class. You about to be like you gonna
[36:22] Speaker 1: me and they're crying. That's what's gonna happen. And just
[36:24] Speaker 1: act like it's sweat because it's so hot, it's gonna
[36:26] Speaker 1: look like sweat. But I love it.
[36:30] Speaker 2: Okay, I'm gonna skip weird sex this week because we
[36:33] Speaker 2: have been going way, way way over time and it's
[36:36] Speaker 2: Friday night, and I'll be honest, I want to play
[36:40] Speaker 2: the same so bad, and I want to play with
[36:43] Speaker 2: my baby girl, Whitley.
[36:44] Speaker 1: I want to go to Hero Show, so I.
[36:46] Speaker 2: Know you do. I'm gonna there was something you wanted
[36:49] Speaker 2: to ask me that you said in the hallway, and
[36:51] Speaker 2: you say, what we're talking about it here?
[36:53] Speaker 1: Do you remember? No?
[36:55] Speaker 2: Okay, well it escapes us. Aunties are getting old, y'all.
[37:00] Speaker 2: I would love it. Also, if you guys would send
[37:02] Speaker 2: me some ideas for food stuff. I don't know who's
[37:11] Speaker 2: gonna eat it.
[37:13] Speaker 1: I'll need it. Do you have enough appetite?
[37:15] Speaker 2: I haven't been having enough appetite off my Oh okay.
[37:18] Speaker 1: Yeah, you make it a little snackable sizes.
[37:21] Speaker 2: Chop that shit out. You know what I really want
[37:23] Speaker 2: some ribs? No, actually, nope, salad. I'm just gonna tell you.
[37:31] Speaker 2: I really want an open hearth, outdoor kitchen. I want
[37:36] Speaker 2: to roast fish every day. I just love it. I've
[37:41] Speaker 2: been on this kick and it's just so good. There's
[37:44] Speaker 2: a restaurant in Atlanta called Fia I went there for
[37:48] Speaker 2: my birthday last year, and I've been a few times before.
[37:52] Speaker 2: I love it. It's in the Burgess Hotel and Buckhead
[37:56] Speaker 2: and it is just so good. They have other things
[37:59] Speaker 2: that are really good, but it just roasted brands. You know,
[38:01] Speaker 2: it's the whole fish. I love the way a whole
[38:03] Speaker 2: roasted fish looks. I'm just really into it. And so
[38:07] Speaker 2: I want a house.
[38:09] Speaker 1: With that where you pick I'm gonna put you on,
[38:13] Speaker 1: and what I would put you on if you were
[38:14] Speaker 1: my client to send you the houses. Were just gonna
[38:15] Speaker 1: act like you're a millionaire and we should go and
[38:18] Speaker 1: look at houses and you rate them. But now you
[38:21] Speaker 1: got to act like you're a real client. Just get camera.
[38:24] Speaker 2: I got business outfits. I can buy shit outfits, yep,
[38:27] Speaker 2: and we'll.
[38:27] Speaker 1: Go through and like and like film it and like
[38:29] Speaker 1: you you have a drone? I do, but I love it.
[38:33] Speaker 2: At that next, well, guess what you're in, luck girl,
[38:36] Speaker 2: because I've got a gift on the way. Oh it's
[38:39] Speaker 2: my gift. But do you want one?
[38:40] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[38:41] Speaker 2: Okay, maybe that's what you'll get for your birthday. There's
[38:43] Speaker 2: one that's easy to use. It small, and I have
[38:46] Speaker 2: been eyeing it for a while. It's the Digi Dji Digit.
[38:51] Speaker 2: I don't know how you said that ship, I'll be
[38:53] Speaker 2: saying Digit. But it's small and it's supposed to be
[38:57] Speaker 2: super user friendly. Because I've never flown a drum.
[39:00] Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know how people want to be crashnated.
[39:01] Speaker 2: But it follows you. It's like automated. So like when
[39:04] Speaker 2: you go do the home tours. And one of my
[39:06] Speaker 2: friends who does really say he's been doing it for
[39:08] Speaker 2: a while. He upgraded all his ship and he goes
[39:11] Speaker 2: in the homes and I love how the videos look
[39:14] Speaker 2: like he has the drone and so.
[39:16] Speaker 1: He'll be in the drone, goes inside the house.
[39:18] Speaker 2: Yes, he'll use the drone to get the view of
[39:20] Speaker 2: the house and like go around and it's so steady
[39:23] Speaker 2: and it looks so good and I could tell the
[39:25] Speaker 2: upgrade from whatever he had before to this. Anyways, Yeah, content,
[39:33] Speaker 2: and they don't how to worry about Trumpott just need
[39:36] Speaker 2: a charger anyway. Yeah, I'm doubt to do that. I
[39:39] Speaker 2: have several I need to send you that list. I
[39:41] Speaker 2: never sent it from last time. Anyways, if you guys
[39:45] Speaker 2: have any idea, suggestions or thoughts about things that you
[39:47] Speaker 2: want to hear our takes on as long as it's
[39:50] Speaker 2: not involving court, send it our way. I don't really
[39:54] Speaker 2: want to talk about court stuff. Remember when they were like, oh,
[39:56] Speaker 2: y'all talk about the Diddy.
[39:57] Speaker 1: Kase, I don't want y'all not gonna want to hear
[39:59] Speaker 1: me and I just don't want to talk about it.
[40:01] Speaker 1: It's like, y'all, I don't want to talk about it.
[40:04] Speaker 1: I'm so fucking horny. I don't want to talk about that.
[40:07] Speaker 1: She can't.
[40:08] Speaker 2: All right, So on that note, we're gonna We're just
[40:10] Speaker 2: gonna move on on the next segment, and yeah, all right.
[40:16] Speaker 2: Losing weight and improving your health used to feel like
[40:19] Speaker 2: something impossible. I felt like I was on a hamster
[40:22] Speaker 2: wheel and I was going nowhere at all fasts. Something
[40:26] Speaker 2: that I've realized after being a part of the life
[40:29] Speaker 2: our XMD family for quite some time now is how
[40:33] Speaker 2: much the cravings that I would have, like sugar cravings
[40:37] Speaker 2: st I mean, I just y'all know, I love me
[40:39] Speaker 2: some flavors. When I would crave stuff, I literally had
[40:43] Speaker 2: like no self control. It was like food was a
[40:46] Speaker 2: fine ass man or something. I mean, I just don't know.
[40:48] Speaker 2: I was just like I had to have a lick,
[40:49] Speaker 2: just a taste, and then you have a taste, and
[40:52] Speaker 2: then you want some more than you want the whole thing.
[40:53] Speaker 2: And like I needed help. I couldn't do it on
[40:56] Speaker 2: my own. I just can't be out here while dog
[40:58] Speaker 2: in life like this, I just can't. So anyway, I
[41:01] Speaker 2: have realized that so many of the things that I
[41:03] Speaker 2: used to crave. Chips, candy, rice, creased retreats. Who I
[41:08] Speaker 2: love a good rice, creasedy treats. Ice cream, Yes, I
[41:10] Speaker 2: love them. I like to make them, I like to
[41:12] Speaker 2: buy them. It doesn't matter. Ice cream, y'all. I have
[41:15] Speaker 2: had ice cream in my freezer for a few months
[41:19] Speaker 2: that did not happen before. Like I have had this
[41:22] Speaker 2: one pint and it's just sitting there because I don't
[41:24] Speaker 2: really crave it. Like sometimes I want something cold, and
[41:26] Speaker 2: you know what I do, I just chew on my
[41:28] Speaker 2: little ice Wow. I have a little nugget ice maker
[41:32] Speaker 2: and I love it. It gives you that good crushed ice
[41:34] Speaker 2: and that's water and it makes me drink more water.
[41:38] Speaker 2: I do miss the days of eating those things, but
[41:42] Speaker 2: I don't actually missed the taste. And it's not until
[41:44] Speaker 2: I get to talking about it. But then I can
[41:45] Speaker 2: just look at videos on my phone or on my
[41:47] Speaker 2: iPad and I'm good. It's just like, I never thought
[41:50] Speaker 2: I could get over the cravings like that, and y'all,
[41:52] Speaker 2: I think they're pretty much gone.
[41:54] Speaker 1: Yeah. I never thought that I could lose these two
[41:56] Speaker 1: rolls that was in my back, and I know I
[41:58] Speaker 1: talk about it every other week, but it was really challenging,
[42:00] Speaker 1: and I was like, how am I gonna actually get
[42:02] Speaker 1: rid of these roles life OIXMD. They are out here
[42:05] Speaker 1: doing the Lord's work if you ask me, Because like
[42:07] Speaker 1: Kiki said, those cravings they just go away. And it's
[42:10] Speaker 1: okay if sometimes you need a little help to lose
[42:14] Speaker 1: the little extra pounds that maybe you gained from that
[42:17] Speaker 1: breakup or whatever else you maybe gained it from, and
[42:22] Speaker 1: it's okay. I love that. For me, It's made me
[42:24] Speaker 1: be more intentional because it's like, Okay, it took the cravings.
[42:27] Speaker 1: It took the cravings away. Now I make a plan
[42:29] Speaker 1: for what I'm gonna eat so I can make sure
[42:31] Speaker 1: I eat at the right times and keep my energy up.
[42:33] Speaker 1: Take my B twelve shots. I absolutely love them. I
[42:35] Speaker 1: also love that they have twenty four to seven customer

[42:54] Speaker 1: about your health, whether you're on it or off it.
[42:56] Speaker 1: They sure do.
[42:57] Speaker 2: Because I was telling them I was like not eating
[43:00] Speaker 2: a lot, but there was a point where I stopped
[43:03] Speaker 2: dropping pounds and I expected to drop pounds because I
[43:06] Speaker 2: wasn't working out, So what nothing turned into muscle. And
[43:09] Speaker 2: so when we talked about like my patterns of eating,
[43:13] Speaker 2: she's like, oh, you've got to spread that out more
[43:15] Speaker 2: and just like little things that you don't think about.
[43:17] Speaker 2: But it's like, Okay, I thought suppressing my appetite, I
[43:20] Speaker 2: gotta eat less, But she's like, no, you still need
[43:22] Speaker 2: to eat throughout the day. Just break it up, have
[43:24] Speaker 2: a little protein shake or something. And so once I
[43:26] Speaker 2: started doing that, like within a week or two, it's like, Okay, yeah,
[43:29] Speaker 2: I see now.
[43:30] Speaker 1: Yeah I love it. So, whether you are looking to

[44:55] Speaker 1: Okay, okay, So this one is titled astrology situationship question. Right,
[45:02] Speaker 1: I'm already like ah. Also, speaking of astrology and situationships,
[45:07] Speaker 1: is it a season for exes to come back? I
[45:10] Speaker 1: have this retrograde I'm talking about the way. Do you
[45:14] Speaker 1: remember this white man that I used to talk to,
[45:17] Speaker 1: which one I don't know, but he popped up on
[45:20] Speaker 1: he is a coach for a major league school and
[45:23] Speaker 1: he is looking fine. I was like, I might got
[45:26] Speaker 1: to go back and figure him out. I'm gonna show
[45:30] Speaker 1: I'm gonna show you. But I was like, I'm highly considered.
[45:32] Speaker 1: He was like, I'm gonna be in Atlanta. We have
[45:34] Speaker 1: a game out there, and I would just love to
[45:35] Speaker 1: like revisit like us because I'm gonna different space. I
[45:39] Speaker 1: don't know it's college is college football. And I was like, well,
[45:43] Speaker 1: you know what I'm actually open.
[45:44] Speaker 2: To maybe Georgia Tech.
[45:45] Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, I'm in a space where maybe
[45:48] Speaker 1: we could do it. But then I saw he popped
[45:50] Speaker 1: up in my feed on YouTube in an interview, and
[45:52] Speaker 1: I was like.
[45:53] Speaker 2: Don't you be blinded by the lights?
[45:55] Speaker 1: Mmm, he looks good. Number morning.
[45:59] Speaker 2: Well, I don't want you to be.
[46:02] Speaker 1: Somebody. I just want to kiss. That's all I want
[46:05] Speaker 1: to do. I'm like, I just feel like in high school,
[46:07] Speaker 1: you don't have to want to kiss and fill the
[46:08] Speaker 1: tip with the advice. Hi, ladies, maybe you can help
[46:13] Speaker 1: me with some astrology advice. I an Aquarius woman born
[46:17] Speaker 1: the Auarius.
[46:19] Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
[46:20] Speaker 1: Friends, feel like when you know your cusp and all
[46:23] Speaker 1: the things. Something is wrong. You need a little medicine. Okay.
[46:27] Speaker 1: I am an Aquarius woman born on the Aquarius capricorn.
[46:31] Speaker 1: Cuss have been dating this guy Gemini born on the
[46:34] Speaker 1: Gemini cancer nouse? Is this my friend writing this in?
[46:40] Speaker 1: For about seven months now? That's how long we've been
[46:43] Speaker 1: seeing each other. Okay. In the beginning he said he
[46:46] Speaker 1: didn't want a relationship.
[46:48] Speaker 2: There you go with that, clean them ears out and
[46:50] Speaker 2: you will save yourself some typing.
[46:52] Speaker 1: So I ended things okay, all right, only for him
[46:56] Speaker 1: to reach back out to continue dating. I was a
[46:59] Speaker 1: bit confus used, but agreed. Fast forward seven going on
[47:04] Speaker 1: eight months now, and we're in a whole relationship. We
[47:08] Speaker 1: have a whole routine and it's kind of what is you? No, No,
[47:14] Speaker 1: you need to speak it. I'm talking about this. I'm
[47:16] Speaker 1: not gonna talk, Nigga, you don't talk, okay. Why do
[47:19] Speaker 1: I have such a strong bond with him? It's as
[47:22] Speaker 1: if we have soul ties together?
[47:25] Speaker 2: Well, it was fucking him and I'm sure it was raw.
[47:27] Speaker 2: He can got all up in your guts, your sol
[47:28] Speaker 2: your nostrils.
[47:29] Speaker 1: I've read into our astrologies to find out we're a
[47:32] Speaker 1: great match. But have you asked God? That's what I
[47:36] Speaker 1: want to know.
[47:37] Speaker 2: Did you send me the charts? Because I think y'all
[47:40] Speaker 2: be seeing what y'all want to see?
[47:41] Speaker 1: Definitely, I'm trying not to be delusional.
[47:44] Speaker 2: Hm, So what does she do instead?
[47:48] Speaker 1: Our perfect match are? Perfect match is a thing? And
[47:52] Speaker 1: does it truly exist? How do you know when you
[47:56] Speaker 1: and your partner are on the same wavelength? How do
[47:59] Speaker 1: you know there is karmic connection between the two of you.
[48:06] Speaker 2: You might not like what I have to say. This
[48:07] Speaker 2: is what I'll say to answer your actual question. How
[48:10] Speaker 2: do you know?
[48:10] Speaker 1: Right?
[48:11] Speaker 2: Do I think a perfect match exists?
[48:13] Speaker 1: Yes?
[48:13] Speaker 2: My idea of perfect is not everything is right. I
[48:16] Speaker 2: think some things are what I want. Some things are
[48:19] Speaker 2: not what I want. But I learned to we learn
[48:22] Speaker 2: how to work together to have this coexistence. I think
[48:27] Speaker 2: that you know that you're with the right person when
[48:29] Speaker 2: you don't no shade, I'll save the shape for later.
[48:34] Speaker 2: But you know that it's perfect when you don't find
[48:37] Speaker 2: yourself constantly asking your friends for advice on your relationship,
[48:40] Speaker 2: when you don't find yourself searching birth charts, chatch ebt,
[48:45] Speaker 2: all these outside sources to figure out if this should
[48:49] Speaker 2: be because you're inside your heart, everything about your being
[48:54] Speaker 2: is making you uncomfortable in this situation because it's not right.
[48:58] Speaker 2: Sometimes that happens when things are new, but sometimes it
[49:01] Speaker 2: happens because it's not right, and that's why you always
[49:03] Speaker 2: feel unsettled, uneasy, unsure. When you feel sure, you don't
[49:10] Speaker 2: think about the fact that you do feel sure. It's
[49:12] Speaker 2: not until you hear something like this, and it's like,
[49:16] Speaker 2: maybe you feel like you know that you're as a
[49:18] Speaker 2: right person when you don't find yourself constantly questioning at
[49:21] Speaker 2: every turn of an issue. Like if you have an issue,
[49:26] Speaker 2: y'all work through it, or even if you're in the
[49:28] Speaker 2: midst of it, but you don't feel the need to
[49:30] Speaker 2: like seek validation, reassurance and all these other things from
[49:34] Speaker 2: outside sources who aren't in your relationship. Sometimes we want
[49:36] Speaker 2: those other people to tell us that to make us
[49:39] Speaker 2: feel better about making the wrong decisions. And you got
[49:41] Speaker 2: to tune that noise out you're unhappy. I don't know
[49:45] Speaker 2: what y'all's whole routine is, but you can be in
[49:48] Speaker 2: a routine and let me tell you, as a queen
[49:50] Speaker 2: of a situationship, even when I didn't want it to
[49:52] Speaker 2: be a situationship and it was because well, yeah it
[49:57] Speaker 2: was that, and I didn't want it to be that. Yeah,
[50:00] Speaker 2: there were routines, there were all sorts of things they
[50:02] Speaker 2: can do, all the things that look like a relationship,
[50:04] Speaker 2: look like they love you, look like they care about you,
[50:06] Speaker 2: look like they at least give a fuck if you
[50:08] Speaker 2: live or die. And then something happens and you realize
[50:12] Speaker 2: they don't because you allowed all of this outside stuff
[50:17] Speaker 2: to infiltrate your thoughts. And I don't think that anything
[50:22] Speaker 2: should be easy, and it doesn't come without issue, But
[50:25] Speaker 2: when you find yourself constantly searching to make something right,
[50:29] Speaker 2: that should be a sign that maybe it's just not
[50:32] Speaker 2: right at all, and you need to let it go.
[50:35] Speaker 2: It's okay to let things go, it's okay to be
[50:37] Speaker 2: to start over. It is okay to not be okay.
[50:42] Speaker 1: And realize it and move on.
[50:43] Speaker 2: And I hope that more of us will learn to
[50:46] Speaker 2: be okay with that. But that's how I think. You know,
[50:49] Speaker 2: when you constantly feel like I don't know what to do,
[50:52] Speaker 2: I'm upset, I'm easy, it doesn't feel good. You just
[50:55] Speaker 2: feel unsettled and you're searching for answers constantly and nothing
[50:59] Speaker 2: fits this ain't this don't fit.
[51:02] Speaker 1: You're part of on the same wavelength. My answer, surprisingly
[51:05] Speaker 1: is going to be simple and short. I think you
[51:07] Speaker 1: know and this is tried and true for me in
[51:10] Speaker 1: my life. If you're on the same wavelength when you
[51:12] Speaker 1: experience something really tough, whether it's you or him, and
[51:15] Speaker 1: they have your back, and that's how I'd be knowing
[51:19] Speaker 1: that we on the same wavelength, because at the end
[51:21] Speaker 1: of the day, life is fucking hard, and shit be
[51:23] Speaker 1: going on in life be life, and if if somebody
[51:25] Speaker 1: can rock it through with you, with a friend or
[51:28] Speaker 1: a romantic person or even just someone you're not necessarily
[51:31] Speaker 1: you ever know somebody that you're not really in a
[51:32] Speaker 1: relationship with, but they really fuck with you, oh do
[51:35] Speaker 1: I And it's like, wow, you really got my back,
[51:40] Speaker 1: like you care about me. We're on the same wavelength,
[51:42] Speaker 1: you get it. That's how, unfortunately I have figured out
[51:46] Speaker 1: the people that truly fuck with me in life. That's
[51:48] Speaker 1: what honestly matters. If I'm up and everything's going well
[51:51] Speaker 1: and you got my back, it don't really matter. It matters.
[51:54] Speaker 1: I'm not saying it doesn't matter, thank you, But when
[51:57] Speaker 1: life be life, in which we've all been in a
[51:59] Speaker 1: life be life in situation who is there? Is he?
[52:03] Speaker 1: And we've all been fucking somebody at times where it's
[52:05] Speaker 1: like you know, he not gonna be there, and you
[52:06] Speaker 1: just you don't. You also want to lose that dick,
[52:08] Speaker 1: so you just don't even bring those things up to them.
[52:09] Speaker 2: But the people you can bring this little thing that
[52:11] Speaker 2: you can hold on.
[52:12] Speaker 1: Yeah, you're like if I tell him, then I'm going
[52:13] Speaker 1: he's gonna be like, oh here you go get an emotion.
[52:15] Speaker 1: But the people in your life that it's like I
[52:17] Speaker 1: got somebody like that where it's like it can be sexual,
[52:19] Speaker 1: it can be friend, it can be something, and everybody
[52:22] Speaker 1: in my life might not know him, but like he
[52:24] Speaker 1: gets me in a way where it's like wow, like
[52:26] Speaker 1: I appreciate this, Like it's the wavelength we don't have
[52:29] Speaker 1: to be even in a relationship. But I hope that
[52:32] Speaker 1: somebody that I'm gonna be in a relationship with can
[52:34] Speaker 1: be like that. Like I don't want it to be
[52:35] Speaker 1: a situation where it's like, let me just tell Kiki this,
[52:39] Speaker 1: because I know if I tell my man, he not
[52:41] Speaker 1: gonna he's gonna have an attitude and he's gonna start
[52:43] Speaker 1: an argument he's not gonna get it. He's not gonna
[52:45] Speaker 1: see me, he's not gonna try to see it. Let
[52:47] Speaker 1: me tell you how I knew somebody. Really.
[52:49] Speaker 2: I mean, it was a few things, but then I
[52:50] Speaker 2: just really had a moment. And I've been very emotional
[52:53] Speaker 2: these past couple of months, like a real woman. It's
[52:55] Speaker 2: so weird and uncomfortable. I don't know hormone steel ain't regulated, yeah,
[53:00] Speaker 2: because I've always felt a little disconnected. Like not that
[53:03] Speaker 2: I thought I was a man or anything, but I
[53:04] Speaker 2: mean I literally had a lot on testosterone. I think
[53:06] Speaker 2: that's why I'm so hairy. Anyways, when my grandfather passed
[53:12] Speaker 2: away that I mean, it's still hard, but it gets easier.
[53:17] Speaker 2: This man was like, well, I said, I have all
[53:19] Speaker 2: this stuff to do. I don't know how I'm gonna
[53:21] Speaker 2: get there. I don't know when the funeral is gonna be.
[53:22] Speaker 2: I have to cancel things. I don't know what to do.
[53:23] Speaker 2: I gotta record today, Like I'm always overwhelmed. I'm always crazy, y'all.
[53:29] Speaker 2: Not my head ain't right. The wigs ain't been too tight.
[53:33] Speaker 2: They've actually been too loose. But that's another thing. If
[53:34] Speaker 2: you have a wig, send it to me. But I
[53:38] Speaker 2: was like, what am I gonna do with my baby girl?
[53:41] Speaker 2: What am I gonna do with baby girl?
[53:42] Speaker 1: Why?
[53:42] Speaker 2: I don't know how long I'm gonna go. I don't
[53:43] Speaker 2: want to feel rush like I don't know. So he
[53:45] Speaker 2: was like, well, I know you don't like to drive,
[53:48] Speaker 2: but would it be easier if we drove. I'll come
[53:50] Speaker 2: with you. He don't like my family, and I don't
[53:53] Speaker 2: blame him. Well, I won't say he doesn't like them,
[53:56] Speaker 2: but some people have made it very clear that they're
[53:59] Speaker 2: not interested in him. It was very uncomfortable. Maybe even
[54:02] Speaker 2: it could be a patrio.
[54:02] Speaker 1: Conversations like that, that's an honest conversation, at least, not
[54:05] Speaker 1: holding on to it like faking it.
[54:07] Speaker 2: It's like he's like, yeah, And I was like, and
[54:09] Speaker 2: this one, I told you. I don't want to bring
[54:11] Speaker 2: nobody around because I get it. It's it's a tough crowd,
[54:15] Speaker 2: like y'all think y'all know me. Oh wait till it's
[54:18] Speaker 2: the tribe I came from. Like imagine that. Yeah, so
[54:23] Speaker 2: it can be uncomfortable. Ain't shit else to do. It's fun,
[54:26] Speaker 2: we're gathering for a sad occasion. But he drove the
[54:29] Speaker 2: whole way, even though I didn't sleep the night before
[54:31] Speaker 2: we recorded. I went how I'm supposed to sleep, didn't.
[54:34] Speaker 2: We drove there and meet him and Whitley. He rented
[54:37] Speaker 2: a car, We stayed at a hotel. We stayed there
[54:39] Speaker 2: for a long time. He didn't rush me to leave,
[54:42] Speaker 2: and he was just there. And it's like little things
[54:44] Speaker 2: like that, I know you didn't want to be there.
[54:46] Speaker 2: I wouldn't have wanted to be there. And then I
[54:48] Speaker 2: had to ask myself on the drive would I have
[54:50] Speaker 2: done the same thing? And that's another thing that I
[54:55] Speaker 2: think we have to ask ourselves, like when you want
[54:58] Speaker 2: these things from different people, would you reciprocate? And when
[55:02] Speaker 2: you question it, that's okay, but like really ask yourself,
[55:04] Speaker 2: because I don't think any sort of relationship, friendship, anything
[55:08] Speaker 2: should be one sided. Would you be willing to do this?
[55:11] Speaker 2: I didn't ask that, but I really appreciated that. Could
[55:13] Speaker 2: I do it? Yeah? Would I like it?
[55:15] Speaker 1: Maybe not?
[55:16] Speaker 2: But could I do it?
[55:17] Speaker 1: Yeah?
[55:17] Speaker 2: And so it's important to look at things like that,
[55:19] Speaker 2: like it's somebody willing to do things that are uncomfortable
[55:22] Speaker 2: to them that they really don't want to do, that
[55:24] Speaker 2: cost them thousands of dollars. They didn't plan to spend.
[55:30] Speaker 2: You gotta ask and do that, and then you ask
[55:33] Speaker 2: do they throw it in your face later? Because that's
[55:36] Speaker 2: the other side. You don't want somebody who throws it
[55:39] Speaker 2: in your face because it feels good when you know
[55:41] Speaker 2: that somebody is there for you, But then it feels like, well,
[55:43] Speaker 2: are you really there for me if you're gonna keep
[55:45] Speaker 2: reminding me. I thought you were really being supportive or
[55:48] Speaker 2: like trying to help me, because I've been through that too.
[55:51] Speaker 2: It's just like, don't ever give me a goddamn thing,
[55:55] Speaker 2: because boy, fuck you, And now I want to slash
[55:57] Speaker 2: your tires and put sugar in your tank. I didn't
[55:59] Speaker 2: say that. I haven't ever done that, actually, but I've
[56:03] Speaker 2: thought about it anyways. I think that we've all got
[56:06] Speaker 2: to ask ourselves these questions. But you miss girl in
[56:09] Speaker 2: the email, you're unhappy. Yeah, and Heed say it out
[56:13] Speaker 2: loud three times a year.
[56:14] Speaker 1: And I'm gonna say it again. I said it in
[56:15] Speaker 1: the beginning several times. Cut out the sugar and read
[56:18] Speaker 1: a book.
[56:20] Speaker 2: Sugar does make your mind do crazy things, and they
[56:23] Speaker 2: putting all kind of stuff in there. I didn't know
[56:24] Speaker 2: that Red forty in the chips that your nephew was
[56:26] Speaker 2: talking about. I think that's what he was talking about. Maltred,
[56:29] Speaker 2: oh something way longer name. Ask him about the Red forty.
[56:34] Speaker 2: I bet he knows. He probably does, because I didn't
[56:36] Speaker 2: know that a lot of people don't want the kids
[56:38] Speaker 2: eating talkies. I thought it was because heartburns and heart
[56:41] Speaker 2: attacks and salt and stuff. But apparently red forty does something.
[56:46] Speaker 2: And when the kids have a lot of it in
[56:48] Speaker 2: their system, sometimes they get diagnosed with autism and ADHD,
[56:55] Speaker 2: but the symptoms are the same. But it's really that.
[56:58] Speaker 2: And so when you cut that out of their diet,
[57:00] Speaker 2: after some time, retest and you see like you have
[57:04] Speaker 2: a change in the kids. And so they didn't really
[57:06] Speaker 2: have it. It's just something that mimics it.
[57:08] Speaker 1: If you're looking for a healthy chip for your child, sorry, y'all,
[57:11] Speaker 1: really a healthy chip, it's called and this. I love them.
[57:16] Speaker 1: You don't even have to be like these were healths
[57:17] Speaker 1: and they're not. They're not expensive. There's a blame version.
[57:20] Speaker 1: Now they got flavors. There's lime. There's a nacho cheese.
[57:23] Speaker 1: I don't like the notch cheese, but there is. If
[57:24] Speaker 1: you just are someone where you need a flavor, they
[57:26] Speaker 1: have flavors. I love the flavorless and I love the lime,
[57:31] Speaker 1: and they're really good with time. It's like a dorito,
[57:32] Speaker 1: but it's not. It doesn't have all the extra shit
[57:34] Speaker 1: in it.
[57:35] Speaker 2: They make regular like taco shells, like the crunchy.
[57:38] Speaker 1: Kinds they make, but if you get the soft and
[57:41] Speaker 1: you eat them, you're like this nasty. Nope, no, nope,
[57:43] Speaker 1: you got to put at olive oil in the pan.
[57:44] Speaker 1: You gotta heat it up. And that changed.
[57:47] Speaker 2: To read telling you to heat it.
[57:50] Speaker 1: And they're good and it's like a healthy And that's
[57:53] Speaker 1: a flowerless tortilla right there. I use the I use
[57:56] Speaker 1: the Cia everything, the chips and the tortillas. I'm making
[57:58] Speaker 1: my tacos. I'll make a little toast y'all, just make as.
[58:03] Speaker 2: With no meat or anything, and just the avocado because
[58:06] Speaker 2: I know you've been on your avocado cake.
[58:07] Speaker 1: I'll be putting a little meat on there because I
[58:08] Speaker 1: mean energy, because I've been really lifting. But I do
[58:12] Speaker 1: a little meat. I'll do a little avocado. I do
[58:14] Speaker 1: my little Greek yogurt, a little salt and pepper or
[58:16] Speaker 1: little candors. I don't care what nobody tell me about kenders.
[58:18] Speaker 1: If you got I be like, I'm sorry, I'm using kender. Y'all.
[58:25] Speaker 1: That's one of the ones where it's like we can't
[58:27] Speaker 1: be perfect. You still fucking with niggas that you don't
[58:29] Speaker 1: even be fucking with, And when I get back out there,
[58:31] Speaker 1: I probably will too. So I don't know what to
[58:33] Speaker 1: tell you.
[58:33] Speaker 2: I'm un makes the story and that's what we got
[58:36] Speaker 2: right here, and we're just all having story time. Y'all
[58:38] Speaker 2: keep sending us your cocktails and whatever you're going through.
[58:41] Speaker 2: Do you have a question that you need advice or
[58:42] Speaker 2: do you have a question and you just want us
[58:44] Speaker 2: to talk about it, Like you're just curious about thoughts,
[58:46] Speaker 2: because even if you have things like that you can
[58:47] Speaker 2: send them.
[58:48] Speaker 1: To, you're in confusion, maybe that you've reached a point
[58:50] Speaker 1: with a friendship or a relationship or even at work,
[58:52] Speaker 1: and you're like, I just really don't what should I
[58:54] Speaker 1: do with this? Let us know. I want to know
[58:56] Speaker 1: where y'all are at.
[58:58] Speaker 2: I want to know where I'm at. I'm not quite sure,
[59:01] Speaker 2: but at a.
[59:01] Speaker 1: Point where now it's like, can I go the full
[59:03] Speaker 1: year without dating? I want to? I want to any wait.
[59:07] Speaker 2: Can we put this on prospect? Can we get a
[59:11] Speaker 2: bad going I wait because I'm ready to cash out.
[59:14] Speaker 1: I want to kiss some man. I want I want the.
