[0:00] Speaker 1: I really felt like I lived in Costa Rica for
[0:03] Speaker 1: a moment.
[0:04] Speaker 2: For a moment, I was like, I'm never coming back.
[0:06] Speaker 1: Oh dunde a is binos?
[0:12] Speaker 3: Where's the bathrooms?
[0:15] Speaker 1: Your kettle chakra belbitch I am. There was a moment
[0:20] Speaker 1: where I was present to the opportunity to eat bacon.
[0:24] Speaker 3: That's what let's hear about it. I want to hear
[0:27] Speaker 3: about the bacons. Come on over, I.
[0:33] Speaker 2: Oink oink, motherfucker.
[0:37] Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, check one two, check one too. Is this
[0:39] Speaker 3: Mike On? Is this Mike On?
[0:41] Speaker 1: Hey listen man, it's the one and only trunks that
[0:43] Speaker 1: the DJ sys and you're listening to cocktails dirty discussions
[0:47] Speaker 1: with Medina Monroe.
[0:49] Speaker 4: Yeah, today's cocktail is called I forgot his name, and
[0:59] Speaker 4: this is how you're gonna make it.
[1:01] Speaker 1: So once again, we're using Billion. So this cocktail is
[1:04] Speaker 1: really easy. You kind of just throw it together because
[1:06] Speaker 1: you forgot his name. So you're gonna layer each of
[1:08] Speaker 1: these ingredients. So we're gonna take our billion add like
[1:15] Speaker 1: a shot. I really like Billion. It's a very rich
[1:19] Speaker 1: flavored liquor. You're gonna take your coconut water and put
[1:23] Speaker 1: one part coconut water. I don't know how this is
[1:27] Speaker 1: gonna taste coconut water and liquor hmmm, some lime juice
[1:36] Speaker 1: just a little bit, and then you should have tonic,
[1:42] Speaker 1: but we couldn't. I didn't have a bottle opener, so
[1:44] Speaker 1: I'm going to replace it with club soda.
[1:45] Speaker 2: I love club soda. This is interesting, y'all.
[1:53] Speaker 1: A little bit of bitters, just a little bit, and
[1:57] Speaker 1: then you want to put a couple of ice cubes.
[2:03] Speaker 2: And this is a I forgot his name. Have you
[2:07] Speaker 2: got somebody's name, somebody that you actually like? It's so embarrassing.
[2:21] Speaker 2: That's tasty, y'all.
[2:23] Speaker 1: That's a really I thought it was gonna be disgusting.
[2:25] Speaker 1: This is actually a really good drink.
[2:27] Speaker 3: Cheers, Welcome back to Cocktails, Dirty Discussions, you guys, I
[2:35] Speaker 3: am Kiky said So okay, y'all, I'm Adina Monro.
[2:39] Speaker 2: And welcome back to the show.
[2:42] Speaker 3: All right, so you guys, this week, we don't have
[2:49] Speaker 3: a guest.
[2:50] Speaker 5: It's just us and it's been a while since we've
[2:52] Speaker 5: been in the studio, so we will be catching up,
[2:54] Speaker 5: but we also have some fun things to talk about.
[2:58] Speaker 3: So this is the first time I've seen you in
[3:00] Speaker 3: like a month.
[3:02] Speaker 5: Yeah, after you're sabbatical in Costa Rica.
[3:05] Speaker 3: How was it?
[3:07] Speaker 1: I really felt like I lived in Costa Rica for
[3:10] Speaker 1: a moment.
[3:11] Speaker 3: For a moment, I was like, I'm never coming back.
[3:13] Speaker 3: Did you learn Spanish? Don?
[3:20] Speaker 2: Where's the bathroom?
[3:22] Speaker 1: Hey?
[3:23] Speaker 3: How are you as a bathroom? That would be a
[3:25] Speaker 3: useful question.
[3:26] Speaker 1: May I'm Medina? Mm hmm uh, save save sabas cattle,
[3:38] Speaker 1: Daco bellbich am a fucking Costa Rican. They actually called
[3:43] Speaker 1: Costa Ricans ticos.
[3:44] Speaker 2: I didn't know that.
[3:45] Speaker 3: Do you know that they?
[3:46] Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I got a lot to tell you. So
[3:49] Speaker 1: hosted a retreat with Paradise and Vibe. If you're interested
[3:52] Speaker 1: in learning more, go to Paris and Vibe dot com.
[3:55] Speaker 1: And I was in Costa Rica from December twenty seventh
[3:59] Speaker 1: until January tenth.
[4:01] Speaker 3: That is a ridiculously long time.
[4:03] Speaker 2: It was very long, but it was so needed and
[4:06] Speaker 2: so worth it. The retreat.
[4:07] Speaker 1: Let me start with the retreat, because the trip just
[4:09] Speaker 1: ended up getting extended. But the retreat was from December
[4:11] Speaker 1: twenty eighth January second, and it was I think this
[4:16] Speaker 1: was my favorite retreat.
[4:18] Speaker 6: Really.
[4:18] Speaker 3: What made this one different?
[4:20] Speaker 1: It was very challenging in the sense of well not challenging,
[4:23] Speaker 1: like the people and putting the retreat together, which is
[4:26] Speaker 1: very difficult.
[4:27] Speaker 2: This was the people were amazing. Nobody was complaining.
[4:30] Speaker 1: Stuff, didn't go wrong with the rooms, nobody was allergic
[4:33] Speaker 1: to anything like. It was just like very.
[4:35] Speaker 2: Smooth as far as that process.
[4:36] Speaker 1: But the people that came, and there were a bunch
[4:40] Speaker 1: of cocktails listeners that I when we do these retreats
[4:44] Speaker 1: and I connect with the people that come based off
[4:46] Speaker 1: of trusting me from this show. It is like a
[4:50] Speaker 1: different type of connection. It's not a connection like a
[4:52] Speaker 1: live show connection. It's not a connection like when you
[4:54] Speaker 1: listen to the show.
[4:54] Speaker 2: It is very raw.
[4:55] Speaker 1: You get to know what's really going on in the
[4:57] Speaker 1: life of everybody that's on there the retreat, and so
[5:01] Speaker 1: it was very like just a versonal retreat, very personal.
[5:04] Speaker 1: This was a hot yoga retreat. And I don't do
[5:06] Speaker 1: hot yoga every day, Like I practice hot yoga and
[5:08] Speaker 1: I've gotten way better, but bach I'll be about to die,
[5:12] Speaker 1: but I love it at the same time like I
[5:13] Speaker 1: love hot yoga, and so this was a very intentional retreat.
[5:17] Speaker 1: Anybody who came was going through some type of shit
[5:20] Speaker 1: because a hot yoga retreat is a lot, like you're
[5:23] Speaker 1: committing to a lot. We did hot yoga twice a
[5:25] Speaker 1: day every day in Costa Rica. In Costa Rica, they
[5:29] Speaker 1: and they didn't have like a proper hot yoga studio,
[5:32] Speaker 1: so we had. They had to They hooked up these
[5:34] Speaker 1: machines to propel tanks. Please don't let us be on
[5:40] Speaker 1: the news, and we don't blow up the whole jungle.
[5:43] Speaker 1: Two cans flying the big ass ants. The ants are
[5:46] Speaker 1: so big in Costa Rica anyways, so we had to
[5:50] Speaker 1: create like a hot yoga studio and they helped us. Anyways,
[5:53] Speaker 1: it was I told myself going in. I was like, Okay,
[5:56] Speaker 1: I'm gonna really connect with people, and I'm gonna make
[5:59] Speaker 1: sure that I go to every yoga hot yoga session
[6:02] Speaker 1: because we every retreat we do yoga, but it's not
[6:04] Speaker 1: hot yoga.
[6:05] Speaker 2: It's just regular yoga. And I don't always be going
[6:06] Speaker 2: Sometimes I I'm just gonna go twice and that's it.
[6:08] Speaker 2: I'm not going on. I'm not getting up at six
[6:10] Speaker 2: am go and do this. I'm about to sleep.
[6:11] Speaker 1: But this one, I was like, I'm gonna really challenge myself.
[6:13] Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to both yogas every day and I
[6:16] Speaker 1: did it, and it's very It's just a lot. It
[6:20] Speaker 1: takes a lot of mental strength to get through hot yoga.
[6:24] Speaker 1: And that's why I like it, because you can't think
[6:25] Speaker 1: about anything else that's going on.
[6:26] Speaker 2: You just gotta get through that.
[6:27] Speaker 5: You gotta stay alive because it's hot, yes fuck, and
[6:30] Speaker 5: you still gotta contort your body, hold the poses, stay focused,
[6:34] Speaker 5: do the damn thing, and.
[6:35] Speaker 1: Do the damn thing and so and we were all me,
[6:38] Speaker 1: Cassandra and Ayana raw worried, like are people gonna be like,
[6:42] Speaker 1: I'm not fucking doing it?
[6:43] Speaker 2: Like you know, you get.
[6:45] Speaker 1: Everybody came to almost every hot yoga session. It was
[6:49] Speaker 1: just like I said, it was just a lot. Every
[6:52] Speaker 1: twenty twenty four was busting everybody upside the head, left
[6:55] Speaker 1: and right. It was just.
[6:58] Speaker 3: Uppercut, get over here.
[7:00] Speaker 1: And so everybody was just like in there and it
[7:03] Speaker 1: was just there were there were men on the retreat,
[7:06] Speaker 1: there were a bunch of women, and it was just
[7:08] Speaker 1: like a very bonding retreat. We did a bunch of activities.
[7:13] Speaker 1: It wasn't just about the yoga, but for me, it
[7:15] Speaker 1: was about the hi yoga. The workshops were incredible, led
[7:18] Speaker 1: by Elizabeth Gilbert, and.
[7:21] Speaker 2: It was just so much fun.
[7:22] Speaker 1: I told myself that there was a moment where I
[7:25] Speaker 1: was presented the opportunity to eat bacon.
[7:29] Speaker 5: That's how your story. Let's hear about it. I want
[7:31] Speaker 5: to hear about the bacons. Come on over if you.
[7:37] Speaker 2: Point pink.
[7:38] Speaker 1: Motherfuckerhit was good. So I was just like very open,
[7:42] Speaker 1: and I was like, you know what I'm gonna I want.
[7:44] Speaker 1: I just want to make like my own decisions and
[7:47] Speaker 1: make sure they're coming from like me, like.
[7:49] Speaker 3: Who I am, because you know what, Jesus forgave all
[7:53] Speaker 3: that stuff that's in Leviticus.
[7:55] Speaker 5: Okay, did you learn that in your church? Lest you
[7:58] Speaker 5: ain't got to worry about it? Jesus said, it's cool.
[8:01] Speaker 5: Yeah he did, and that's why.
[8:03] Speaker 3: I love him and I love him.
[8:06] Speaker 1: And I said, somebody made Elizabeth made bacon and she
[8:10] Speaker 1: was making breakfast plates and I was like.
[8:12] Speaker 2: It was stick to huh. It wasn't even fake. It
[8:15] Speaker 2: was thinning, crispy.
[8:16] Speaker 3: Oh no, you got to get the thick cut.
[8:18] Speaker 2: Yeah, tritting on.
[8:19] Speaker 1: From December twenty eighth until January tenth, I ate bacon
[8:22] Speaker 1: every day.
[8:25] Speaker 3: What I don't even have that much bacon, girl.
[8:30] Speaker 1: I have had bacon in a Caesar style of bacon
[8:32] Speaker 1: with olives, Bacon on a burger, bacon on a turkey sandwich, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon, bacon,
[8:37] Speaker 1: call me young bacon. I was, like, I said, And
[8:40] Speaker 1: this was the first day that I was like, I
[8:42] Speaker 1: was about to because I'm always like, no, I don't
[8:43] Speaker 1: eat pork if it's pork juice, porking.
[8:44] Speaker 2: And and then I like have this thought because I'm
[8:47] Speaker 2: all open.
[8:47] Speaker 1: We're doing all this spiritual work, We're doing all this
[8:49] Speaker 1: stuff like who are you really? And I do this
[8:52] Speaker 1: type of shit every year, and something is something different,
[8:55] Speaker 1: is always exposed. You can never not stop learning yourself,
[8:58] Speaker 1: something new happening. So I was like, why am I
[9:01] Speaker 1: not eating bacon?
[9:02] Speaker 2: Right?
[9:04] Speaker 3: Why am I s this? I been asking for fifty years?
[9:06] Speaker 3: This is why am I not eating pork?
[9:07] Speaker 2: And I thought about it.
[9:08] Speaker 1: I said, Okay, well, I was raised Muslim, like legitimate Muslim.
[9:12] Speaker 2: My last name is Ali.
[9:13] Speaker 1: If y'all don't know, I used to wear her job
[9:15] Speaker 1: when I was a kid, like we used to go
[9:17] Speaker 1: to the mosque like the I.
[9:19] Speaker 2: Mean, I was raised Muslim, and so that's just that's over.
[9:23] Speaker 1: I never ate for my dad and my mom were
[9:25] Speaker 1: not playing that, and so we're not Muslim anymore. And
[9:28] Speaker 1: I'm an adult and you are to make my own decisions.
[9:32] Speaker 3: Yes, and I can and I did.
[9:35] Speaker 1: And so I and I sat there and I said,
[9:38] Speaker 1: I will have a slack. I will have a piece
[9:39] Speaker 1: of that bacon. Absolutely, I have a piece of that.
[9:44] Speaker 1: And I had three and you cut us up and
[9:48] Speaker 1: she gave me three slices of that bacon and I
[9:51] Speaker 1: and I ate it and I said this what could
[9:55] Speaker 1: keep me talking about?
[9:56] Speaker 3: It was so good?
[9:57] Speaker 1: And then later on that day Live was like, you guys,
[10:00] Speaker 1: I'm gonna make a salad and I said, would you
[10:03] Speaker 1: put bacon in it?
[10:05] Speaker 3: Because bacon bit Hello, I'm sure that's a million dollar business.
[10:11] Speaker 3: It's been around forever it was and that ain't real.
[10:14] Speaker 3: This is real bacon.
[10:15] Speaker 1: It was so good, So okay, so every morning I
[10:17] Speaker 1: did have bacon. And then there was one day where
[10:22] Speaker 1: at the when we had our farewell dinner, they had
[10:26] Speaker 1: a rib and I said, I've been.
[10:28] Speaker 3: Saying pork rib.
[10:29] Speaker 2: It was a pork costa rica.
[10:31] Speaker 3: How prepared? How was it prepared like a barbecue rib?
[10:36] Speaker 1: Like it was a real other side and you could
[10:38] Speaker 1: put it onto and then my friend Evan was like, oh,
[10:40] Speaker 1: you know, my Ninna, you gotta you never had a
[10:41] Speaker 1: rib before, Like I've never had.
[10:43] Speaker 2: A rib before. I just got introduced to baking. He said,
[10:45] Speaker 2: go put the barbecue sauce on it and everything un
[10:47] Speaker 2: once you finished.
[10:48] Speaker 3: But everything was very hate your first rib it was
[10:52] Speaker 3: in Costa Rica.
[10:53] Speaker 2: I don't hate it.
[10:53] Speaker 3: It was so juicy, and I'm sure it was.
[10:57] Speaker 5: I got this rib turned out it was going a brother,
[11:00] Speaker 5: that's where we're gonna have the next meeting.
[11:02] Speaker 3: You need to have a real We have a Texas rib.
[11:07] Speaker 1: It is pretty and so I got that. They put
[11:09] Speaker 1: They gave me the rib and so I put them.
[11:12] Speaker 1: I put a little doll with barbecue sauce on top of.
[11:14] Speaker 3: American or Costa Rican, because what the fuck is even that?
[11:17] Speaker 3: In the CARDI the barbecue sauce.
[11:19] Speaker 2: It was a bowl, so I don't know, but it
[11:21] Speaker 2: was good.
[11:22] Speaker 3: It was like the hot sauce.
[11:25] Speaker 1: It was some sauce, like dark barbecue sauce. It was
[11:30] Speaker 1: a little darker than that, and it had a spice
[11:32] Speaker 1: to it. Hold on, I don't have nothing to compare
[11:35] Speaker 1: it to.
[11:36] Speaker 3: Why don't you like dark barbecue sauce?
[11:39] Speaker 2: I don't like what I like. I like it to
[11:41] Speaker 2: be kind of loose.
[11:42] Speaker 3: I don't like it to be you like a more
[11:46] Speaker 3: vinegar base.
[11:47] Speaker 1: I like it to be kind of spicy. I just
[11:50] Speaker 1: don't want it to be a thick like molasses barbecue sauce.
[11:53] Speaker 1: I needed to run a little bit like that's and
[11:55] Speaker 1: that's how I like my ranch. I don't like like
[11:56] Speaker 1: a hidden Valley ranch. I want to loose ranch like Cheddars.
[12:00] Speaker 1: Have you ever had the ranch at Cheddars? No?
[12:01] Speaker 3: First of all, fuck ranch.
[12:03] Speaker 2: I don't really like it.
[12:04] Speaker 3: I my niece did tell me Wingsip Fries with their ranch,
[12:08] Speaker 3: which is ranch is.
[12:09] Speaker 2: A good It's a loose ranch. It's loose.
[12:11] Speaker 3: I wouldn't consider it loose. But it's not as thick
[12:13] Speaker 3: as Hidden Valley.
[12:14] Speaker 5: But it's funny because they just take buttermilk and Hidden
[12:16] Speaker 5: Valley packets.
[12:17] Speaker 2: I need it to be loose.
[12:19] Speaker 5: You think you want watery sauce, watery, I want to
[12:23] Speaker 5: we need to have an episode about why do you
[12:25] Speaker 5: want loose booty sauce on anything that you're in Jessee.
[12:28] Speaker 2: I just don't like it.
[12:29] Speaker 3: Thick, I don't I don't get it dick. But okay, okay, So.
[12:33] Speaker 2: I get the rib and it was beautifully made. And
[12:35] Speaker 2: you know how I have a pretty plate.
[12:37] Speaker 1: I like it was.
[12:38] Speaker 2: It was a beautiful presentation.
[12:39] Speaker 3: How many ribs you eat? I got?
[12:41] Speaker 2: I just started with one. Then it was thick. It
[12:43] Speaker 2: wasn't the type of ribs that I seen in America.
[12:46] Speaker 3: That's why I'm asking, is it beef for pork?
[12:48] Speaker 2: It was pork.
[12:49] Speaker 1: It was definitely pork because there was a moment where
[12:51] Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, you don't have bacon every day.
[12:55] Speaker 2: Dive in so I got. It was a thick. It
[12:58] Speaker 2: was like the rib wasn't I've seen a slab of
[13:00] Speaker 2: it where it's like long and flat. This was a
[13:02] Speaker 2: It was a beautiful rib. I was like, why this
[13:04] Speaker 2: is beautiful?
[13:05] Speaker 3: Take a picture.
[13:06] Speaker 1: Let me I look through my phone and see you
[13:08] Speaker 1: because I think I did. I'm pretty sure I took
[13:10] Speaker 1: a picture of the rib and I saw.
[13:12] Speaker 3: Because it sounds like a short rib.
[13:15] Speaker 1: But I was like, I was cutting it and everyone
[13:18] Speaker 1: was like pick it up, right, pick and I said no,
[13:21] Speaker 1: So I cut it and then I did start.
[13:24] Speaker 2: After I took my first bite on the fork, I.
[13:25] Speaker 3: Felt you gotta get down up in there.
[13:27] Speaker 2: I picked it up. I ate the fat.
[13:33] Speaker 5: Every time we explore food, we unlike a new domain
[13:39] Speaker 5: of like what we.
[13:40] Speaker 3: Talked about this before with brisket.
[13:42] Speaker 5: I think we were all talking about everybody in the room,
[13:45] Speaker 5: and some of y'all like fat, the fat on the
[13:48] Speaker 5: brisk y'all eat it.
[13:48] Speaker 3: I like the fatty brisket cut.
[13:51] Speaker 5: But to put that fat in my mouth, in my mouth,
[13:55] Speaker 5: it's what I imagine, well blobber is like.
[13:57] Speaker 3: And I'm not.
[13:58] Speaker 2: It wasn't just a piece of fact. It was fat
[14:00] Speaker 2: and ribbed me.
[14:01] Speaker 1: It was so I just sat there and was like,
[14:04] Speaker 1: I can't believe I ain't never had this in my
[14:06] Speaker 1: life before I got I gotta dial this back, because okay,
[14:10] Speaker 1: so I had the I had bacon, I had a rib.
[14:12] Speaker 2: I had a pork to Maale.
[14:13] Speaker 3: In the middle of that ship was busting.
[14:15] Speaker 1: With this gay man named David, and he also is
[14:17] Speaker 1: a designer. I bought some clothes from him, and he
[14:20] Speaker 1: welcomed us into his home. The storefront was his home,
[14:23] Speaker 1: and then towards the back. You go in the back
[14:25] Speaker 1: and they he welcomed us with a meal.
[14:27] Speaker 2: And I was like, what's that to my len is this?
[14:28] Speaker 2: He was like, it's a pork to my sad, I'm
[14:29] Speaker 2: not gonna eat it. I've been eating it.
[14:31] Speaker 1: It was why not?
[14:32] Speaker 2: So it was so good? Kiki. I ate pepperoni.
[14:36] Speaker 1: I had a slice of pepperoni pizza, real pepperoni, a
[14:39] Speaker 1: real pepperoni in Costa Rica.
[14:41] Speaker 2: And then I had some pizza that had ham under
[14:43] Speaker 2: the cheese.
[14:44] Speaker 3: It was like Canadian bacon ham.
[14:47] Speaker 5: I don't know, because you know when they be putting
[14:49] Speaker 5: ham on pizza, it's usually Canadian bacon.
[14:52] Speaker 3: Canadian bacon is ham.
[14:53] Speaker 1: I called my mom and I said, she said, Mom,
[14:57] Speaker 1: I've been out here even pork. She said, Medina, what
[14:59] Speaker 1: all did you eat? And I gave her a rundown
[15:01] Speaker 1: and she was like, I don't tell your dad.
[15:04] Speaker 2: And I still haven't told my dad.
[15:06] Speaker 1: I've been eating a decision that I'm only going to
[15:09] Speaker 1: eat pork out of the country because I really went
[15:12] Speaker 1: two ham keeps.
[15:13] Speaker 3: Wait, I was e it, no, please, please just one time.
[15:16] Speaker 3: We can do it in one day next week so
[15:19] Speaker 3: we can wash it away when January is done.
[15:22] Speaker 1: I need you.
[15:24] Speaker 3: This is not even certain. Jesus was still here. You
[15:30] Speaker 3: are going with me.
[15:32] Speaker 5: To Fox Brothers barbecue and they are not paying me
[15:36] Speaker 5: to say this is coming from the goodness of my heart,
[15:38] Speaker 5: you are going to eat at least one rib. They're
[15:44] Speaker 5: not gonna be them big meat ribs. What you're talking about,
[15:46] Speaker 5: it's it's not eat the plates.
[15:51] Speaker 3: I need you to have one. You can also get
[15:53] Speaker 3: some beef brisket.
[15:54] Speaker 5: There's other meats that they have, but I need you
[15:57] Speaker 5: to have a traditional Texas style barbecue riba. They have sauce,
[16:05] Speaker 5: they have a spicy, and they have their regular, which
[16:07] Speaker 5: is on the sweet side. We will put that on
[16:09] Speaker 5: the side so you can dip some of the meat
[16:11] Speaker 5: if you like it. Okay, but you will take one rib.
[16:16] Speaker 5: I will eat the rest of them on the plate.
[16:17] Speaker 5: I got it because I love them ribs. You can
[16:21] Speaker 5: also get a friedo chili pie. It's got brisket chili,
[16:23] Speaker 5: which is beef safe. Everything else is gonna be beef
[16:27] Speaker 5: and it's gonna be safe. Texas barbecue is mostly beef,
[16:29] Speaker 5: but you got to have an American pork barbecue rib.
[16:35] Speaker 5: I wish I could take it to a barbecue competition,
[16:38] Speaker 5: and I really want you to eat some buda add
[16:40] Speaker 5: but we're not gonna take it too far.
[16:42] Speaker 1: No.
[16:43] Speaker 2: After I have this Texas South rib there's.
[16:46] Speaker 3: Some alligator, budhan or some well it's still in cases.
[16:49] Speaker 1: Speaking of alligators, we saw, I saw so okay socodile.
[16:53] Speaker 3: After the retreat, I want to taste this hot.
[16:55] Speaker 1: We went on a road trip around Costa Rica. Bit
[17:00] Speaker 1: I didn't know that Costa Rica had a Caribbean side.
[17:03] Speaker 1: This is my second time I going to Costa Rica.
[17:05] Speaker 1: The first time I ever went to Costa Rica went
[17:07] Speaker 1: to Alaweja and that is like very jungle side, very country,
[17:10] Speaker 1: and that was it. I didn't really have a lot
[17:12] Speaker 1: to say about it. I loved it and I love
[17:13] Speaker 1: how it is like healthy it is, but like that
[17:15] Speaker 1: was the first time. This second time, we started in
[17:17] Speaker 1: Haco and that was I didn't know this. That's apparently
[17:20] Speaker 1: the hood of Costa Rica. That's where the retreat was.
[17:22] Speaker 1: But everybody had a great time. That's where we spent
[17:23] Speaker 1: New Year's Eve. After that, me cast Cassandra and Liz,
[17:27] Speaker 1: we drove to San Jose and we spent some time
[17:30] Speaker 1: there and that's that's that's where I had the pepperoni pizza.
[17:33] Speaker 1: That's where had the hand pizza, and that's it was
[17:34] Speaker 1: just this beautiful city.
[17:35] Speaker 2: It was really, Uh, wonder if there's sports you've sent
[17:40] Speaker 2: it probably pleda.
[17:43] Speaker 1: After we spent time in Santo, spent a few days
[17:45] Speaker 1: in San Jose, and then we went to Puerto Viejo.
[17:49] Speaker 1: That's the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. If you have
[17:51] Speaker 1: never been to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, it
[17:55] Speaker 1: was it's like Jamaica, but it's just brown Spanish people.
[17:58] Speaker 1: The food is Jamaican food. Though it was beautiful, it
[18:00] Speaker 1: was so much fun. My friend Ceci she has a
[18:02] Speaker 1: place out there. Not only does she have a place
[18:04] Speaker 1: out there, she bought land out there. She is creating
[18:07] Speaker 1: a women's commune. Cec was being very humble saying she
[18:10] Speaker 1: just bought a plot of land. That bitch bought a jungle.
[18:12] Speaker 1: We went and toward her jungle and it was just
[18:15] Speaker 1: I had a time. I got to Eat Pray in
[18:18] Speaker 1: Love with the author of Eat Pray Love.
[18:19] Speaker 2: Who is Elizabeth Gilbert, and it was just such a beautiful.
[18:22] Speaker 1: Time that I needed, got to bond, got to explore
[18:25] Speaker 1: so much, got to try new things, and it was
[18:28] Speaker 1: just such a good time. And it just reminded me
[18:32] Speaker 1: of like why I love doing these retreats. I always
[18:36] Speaker 1: told myself when I wasn't going to continue being a
[18:39] Speaker 1: flight attendant because I fucking hated it. After I didn't
[18:42] Speaker 1: love it anymore, and I was like, dang, like, how
[18:45] Speaker 1: am I still going to travel? Like I always wanted
[18:46] Speaker 1: to be able to travel on somebody else's dime, and
[18:49] Speaker 1: I was like, how am I going to do this?
[18:51] Speaker 1: And so I just feel like I have always manifested
[18:54] Speaker 1: travel into my life. And I say that because I
[18:56] Speaker 1: think it's very important that people travel. I think it's
[18:59] Speaker 1: whether you manifested and you are traveling on somebody else's diamond,
[19:02] Speaker 1: you are deciding to be a flat attend You're like,
[19:03] Speaker 1: I'm going to see the world, bitch.
[19:04] Speaker 2: Fuck everybody do it.
[19:06] Speaker 1: It is. It just opens up your heart and your
[19:09] Speaker 1: mind and you get to just like traveling to me
[19:12] Speaker 1: is healing. So I'm always gonna push somebody's trip a retreat,
[19:15] Speaker 1: whether you go to Paradise and Vibe, you go on
[19:17] Speaker 1: Kiki's trip. I'm going to my first retreat as an
[19:20] Speaker 1: attendee in June to Spain, so and I've never I've
[19:23] Speaker 1: always part of Spain. I think it's gonna be like
[19:26] Speaker 1: outside of Barcelona. Okay, So I don't know if you
[19:29] Speaker 1: guys remember when we had Shinisha Boswell on the show.
[19:32] Speaker 1: I met her through my sister from social media and
[19:35] Speaker 1: then she came on the show and then we became friends.
[19:37] Speaker 2: And she also hosts retreats and I told her, I
[19:39] Speaker 2: was like, you know what, I love Spain.
[19:41] Speaker 1: I only got to go when I was a flight
[19:42] Speaker 1: attendant for a quick, little split second. The men were
[19:45] Speaker 1: very fine and the food was very good.
[19:46] Speaker 2: That's all I need.
[19:47] Speaker 1: And I was like, you know what, I'm actually going
[19:49] Speaker 1: to book a spot and go as an attendee to
[19:52] Speaker 1: just be able to relax and see what it's like
[19:53] Speaker 1: to go on a retreat. She does self care retreats
[19:56] Speaker 1: and it's June twenty second. I think through the twenty seventh.
[20:01] Speaker 1: Maybe you're interested in going, I highly suggest.
[20:04] Speaker 2: You going whatever retreat.
[20:05] Speaker 1: I'm just like, travel is just so necessary, and if
[20:09] Speaker 1: you're scared to do it, or you're like I don't
[20:10] Speaker 1: have the money plan ahead, most people have payment plans,
[20:14] Speaker 1: and if you can't go out of the country, that's fine.
[20:17] Speaker 1: America has beautiful places to visit, even Georgia. If you're like,
[20:21] Speaker 1: I don't know what, I just I just think traveling
[20:23] Speaker 1: is just so necessary.
[20:24] Speaker 3: For the soul.
[20:25] Speaker 1: Like if you like to write, if you like to
[20:27] Speaker 1: meet new people, if you like to try new things,
[20:29] Speaker 1: like travel is a very good way to do that.
[20:32] Speaker 1: And I just cannot express that enough, Like twenty twenty
[20:35] Speaker 1: four bust me ins on my head, and travel saved
[20:37] Speaker 1: me each and every time. So like I'm always gonna say, like, bitch,
[20:40] Speaker 1: even if you're not gonna go on a trip with me,
[20:42] Speaker 1: go on a trip with somebody, even if it's just yourself,
[20:45] Speaker 1: to just experience a different part of the world. So
[20:49] Speaker 1: Costa Rica was fucking phenomenal. So I didn't want to
[20:51] Speaker 1: come back because years going.
[20:54] Speaker 3: For three weeks, I was gone, and.
[20:56] Speaker 2: I thought we were gonna get stuck because of the
[20:57] Speaker 2: snow dawn. I was like, sure, I was wondering that too.
[21:00] Speaker 2: Blissfully came back.
[21:02] Speaker 3: Because that shit was melting fast.
[21:04] Speaker 2: I was like, well, I really did snow. Though people
[21:06] Speaker 2: were skiing on the belt line.
[21:08] Speaker 3: I saw them skiing Peepont Park on the belt line.
[21:12] Speaker 5: When I woke up, it was still dark outside, and
[21:16] Speaker 5: I went and peeked outside like a kid.
[21:17] Speaker 3: On Christmas, and it was covered in snow.
[21:20] Speaker 5: Nobody drove anywhere, like on the street where my side
[21:25] Speaker 5: of the building faces perfect snow, the buildings.
[21:29] Speaker 3: It just looked really beautiful. I showed my baby girl
[21:33] Speaker 3: Whitley and she she hated it, hated it. She was
[21:38] Speaker 3: not fucking with it. When she had to go peek,
[21:40] Speaker 3: she was looking at me like, girl, what is this really?
[21:44] Speaker 3: Then I was like, you have to go out, like
[21:47] Speaker 3: it's a lot of people driving around.
[21:48] Speaker 5: I will let her go in the garage because whatever
[21:51] Speaker 5: that's outside to me, I'm picking up, it'll be clean.
[21:54] Speaker 3: We go outside, and I wanted to see if she
[21:56] Speaker 3: would enjoy the snow.
[21:57] Speaker 5: I'm like, but you're from Ohio and I got you
[22:01] Speaker 5: last winter. My baby girl said, Baby, I don't know that.
[22:05] Speaker 5: Oh you adopted and saved me. Fuck some other people.
[22:09] Speaker 2: I'm down for you.
[22:10] Speaker 3: We don't do this for southern girls, and I get it. So, yeah,
[22:13] Speaker 3: we were inside. She didn't like it.
[22:16] Speaker 5: She's very upset about her paws getting wet and cold.
[22:19] Speaker 5: She was just like she was irritated, and she was like,
[22:22] Speaker 5: pick me up, pick me up.
[22:24] Speaker 3: So I picked her up and I snuggled her clothes
[22:26] Speaker 3: like I always do, and I brought her inside and
[22:29] Speaker 3: then she had to get clean, and I was like,
[22:31] Speaker 3: your hair appointment got canceled today.
[22:34] Speaker 5: Because of the weather, so we're gonna have to reschedule.
[22:36] Speaker 5: I don't know what we're gonna do because I'm not
[22:38] Speaker 5: fighting you in the tub.
[22:40] Speaker 3: That's she don't like to take a bath. She dosn't
[22:43] Speaker 3: like doing it with me because the groomers are always like.
[22:45] Speaker 2: She was great as usual. She didn't do anything.
[22:47] Speaker 3: She's very Calfiou's upset when you left, but once we
[22:49] Speaker 3: got to the back, we gave her a treat. It
[22:50] Speaker 3: was fine. It's like, Oh, you'll be showing out like
[22:53] Speaker 3: real kids do.
[22:54] Speaker 5: I wish I would, but that's cool. You show out
[22:58] Speaker 5: for me, don't show out for them. You will just
[23:01] Speaker 5: go to them anyway.
[23:04] Speaker 3: I've got some updates too, but i'll say them for
[23:06] Speaker 3: after weird sex. I do have a quick story that
[23:09] Speaker 3: I researched. You said a man is not a necessity.
[23:14] Speaker 3: A man is a luxury like dessert. Yeah, a man
[23:19] Speaker 3: is absolutely not necessity.
[23:21] Speaker 2: Did you mean that to sound meaning better?
[23:24] Speaker 3: Oh not at all. I adore dessert. I love men.
[23:28] Speaker 3: I think men are the coolest, but you don't really
[23:31] Speaker 3: need them to live. Since some people are set about crimes,
[23:38] Speaker 3: they'll be back next week, though. Crimes a few people
[23:42] Speaker 3: are like, I always have to hear about crimes, yes, bitch,
[23:44] Speaker 3: because we need to be aware the people are doing crimes.
[23:48] Speaker 3: And I am a true crime girl. And if you
[23:50] Speaker 3: don't like this part, skip it. It's a transcript on YouTube.
[23:54] Speaker 5: Anyways, Okay, so this week's weird sex. I was thinking
[24:00] Speaker 5: about the cold weather, the snow days, and pregnancy, right.
[24:03] Speaker 2: I think it's in pregnancy. I thought they got on
[24:07] Speaker 2: the snow day.
[24:08] Speaker 3: They don't even know yet, you know it, it's too soon.
[24:11] Speaker 2: It was just bucking on.
[24:12] Speaker 3: Ty own flashback.
[24:15] Speaker 5: Anyway, I think that many people are currently brewing a baby,
[24:21] Speaker 5: and it may be happening. I mean, we are in
[24:23] Speaker 5: the thick of it with winter and there's going to
[24:26] Speaker 5: be more days. We're in Atlanta, but people are all
[24:28] Speaker 5: over Anyway, let me down a rabbit hole thinking about
[24:32] Speaker 5: what were people doing back in the day for contraceptives.
[24:37] Speaker 5: I have shared stories about like nasty looking condoms.
[24:42] Speaker 3: And stuff, but I was like, is that it?
[24:45] Speaker 1: You know?
[24:45] Speaker 3: I fell down a black hole on the internet and
[24:48] Speaker 3: I was reading about the ancient Egyptians.
[24:52] Speaker 5: Do y'all know that they used to take crocodile dug,
[24:56] Speaker 5: which is their douchie their turns put it up their
[25:00] Speaker 5: vaginas and use it as a contraceptive.
[25:07] Speaker 2: What's in the crocodile dunted whatever they ate that day?
[25:12] Speaker 3: So this is the thing.
[25:14] Speaker 5: When they would get the douchie and put it in
[25:17] Speaker 5: their pussy, it would harden and it's thick, I know, gross, right.
[25:23] Speaker 3: So just follow me though, follow me. So they put
[25:26] Speaker 3: it in there, it kind of hardens.
[25:28] Speaker 2: So it's like a very.
[25:30] Speaker 3: Antiquated, horrible version of a diaphragm, like the female condom
[25:36] Speaker 3: that they have.
[25:36] Speaker 5: So it's like it's basically making a shield. And it
[25:40] Speaker 5: wasn't totally like ineffective. It worked to a certain degree.
[25:45] Speaker 5: But I just wonder what them pussies were smelling like
[25:49] Speaker 5: it had to be crazy. And then I was like, well,
[25:53] Speaker 5: what else were other people doing, because there's crocodiles in
[25:55] Speaker 5: Egypt shore but what else they were using honey, mixing
[25:58] Speaker 5: it up with a case leaves.
[26:00] Speaker 3: I think it's how you pronounce it and other things
[26:02] Speaker 3: are putting up there. But everything wasn't like all the
[26:06] Speaker 3: way wrong.
[26:06] Speaker 5: While you know, obviously that's not practical and totally healthy.
[26:12] Speaker 5: Some what we have learned through time and people building
[26:16] Speaker 5: on whatever we've learned. They took some things that we
[26:20] Speaker 5: learned from our ancestors from back of the day. The
[26:23] Speaker 5: crocodile dune wasn't ideal. But some of these things, like
[26:26] Speaker 5: the honey and some of the components, I guess you
[26:30] Speaker 5: would say of the leaves and some of the other
[26:32] Speaker 5: products that people were using, they actually are the same
[26:35] Speaker 5: things that they put in spermicide that will kill the
[26:38] Speaker 5: sperm so it.
[26:39] Speaker 2: Doesn't impregnate you.
[26:40] Speaker 3: They were building things about I just.
[26:43] Speaker 2: Want to know who was down there hunt getting in
[26:46] Speaker 2: the alligator hut to get there.
[26:49] Speaker 5: You don't even they dropping in by the river, down
[26:52] Speaker 5: by the nile, down by the nile where the crocs
[26:55] Speaker 5: get nasty.
[26:57] Speaker 3: Leopatri said, I'm about to have a baby or whatever
[27:01] Speaker 3: was going on. They was down there by the creek,
[27:04] Speaker 3: well the river.
[27:05] Speaker 2: Did you watch that Cleopatrick documentary on Netflix?
[27:09] Speaker 3: Did you know the newest one?
[27:13] Speaker 2: I don't know if it's new or not, but it
[27:14] Speaker 2: was good. It's like a Jada Pinkett had a hand
[27:17] Speaker 2: in her or something.
[27:20] Speaker 3: I feel like she might have been a producer.
[27:22] Speaker 2: I don't know. In recent years, I watched it a
[27:26] Speaker 2: few I watched it last month.
[27:28] Speaker 1: I don't know if it's actually new, but I do
[27:30] Speaker 1: know that I did not know she had a baby
[27:32] Speaker 1: by Caesar.
[27:33] Speaker 2: Mm hm.
[27:34] Speaker 5: I used to be obsessed with ancient Egyptian culture. That's
[27:39] Speaker 5: why I found the story interesting.
[27:40] Speaker 3: But I was like, I didn't nobody told me. I
[27:42] Speaker 3: guess I was reading children's books.
[27:43] Speaker 5: But like nobody told me, I was putting crocodile dookie
[27:46] Speaker 5: up your pussies to not have baby by Caesar.
[27:50] Speaker 3: And King tut Well, she was, but the rest of
[27:52] Speaker 3: the people.
[27:54] Speaker 2: Julius, Caesar and his best friend, she's a wild girl.
[27:59] Speaker 3: I mean, it is what it is. No, I haven't
[28:02] Speaker 3: seen the documentary, but I have watched some. I think
[28:05] Speaker 3: that Cleopatra is very fascinating, and I love the more
[28:08] Speaker 3: and more that we find out about her. Anyway, I
[28:10] Speaker 3: just wanted to let y'all know that we should all
[28:12] Speaker 3: be grateful to everybody who came before us, so that
[28:14] Speaker 3: we no longer have to stick dookie up our pussies
[28:16] Speaker 3: to try to not get pregnant from trifling ass tyrone
[28:20] Speaker 3: and maybe better choices, because this is not what the
[28:26] Speaker 3: ancestors wanted us.
[28:27] Speaker 2: To be going through.
[28:28] Speaker 5: For some of y'all, that be writing an advice anyway.
[28:31] Speaker 5: That's it for weird sex, y'all, send me stories or
[28:34] Speaker 5: anything you're interested. I don't mind doing a deep dive either.
[28:37] Speaker 5: I've been finding some really strange things. People are into
[28:40] Speaker 5: a lot, yeah, and they're doing They're just doing more
[28:44] Speaker 5: and more.
[28:45] Speaker 3: Everything's not necessarily a crime. I think I'm going back
[28:48] Speaker 3: to crimes because those are less disturbing.
[28:50] Speaker 2: All right, y'all.
[28:51] Speaker 1: So twenty twenty five in my world has been all
[28:54] Speaker 1: about healing, journeys, journeys towards finding yourself, learning who you are.
[29:00] Speaker 1: And also in twenty twenty five, people have been getting
[29:02] Speaker 1: dating app fatigue. And what I like most about Field
[29:07] Speaker 1: is that it's an app created for you to figure
[29:10] Speaker 1: out what you actually like. What do you want in
[29:13] Speaker 1: a date or in a sexual friend, or just what
[29:16] Speaker 1: are some things that you might want to explore. Field
[29:20] Speaker 1: is an app dedicated to you finding yourself. That's important
[29:25] Speaker 1: to me, Kiki, It's important to me too.
[29:27] Speaker 5: And something that I think that maybe, depending on where
[29:32] Speaker 5: you are in life, you might not really consider, but like,
[29:35] Speaker 5: change happens, and sometimes it happens a lot more often
[29:38] Speaker 5: than you.
[29:39] Speaker 3: Might want to admit.
[29:40] Speaker 5: One thing that I think is really cool about Field
[29:44] Speaker 5: is not only does it have so many different options
[29:47] Speaker 5: for you to select a gender, sexual orientation, all of that,
[29:51] Speaker 5: you can change it a lot, and other people are
[29:55] Speaker 5: changing it a lot too, and it's like it's not
[29:58] Speaker 5: really a judgment zone when it comes to that. And
[30:01] Speaker 5: you know in with Field, the cultural space there, it's
[30:04] Speaker 5: like changes in norming. People are figuring themselves out and
[30:07] Speaker 5: whether you're there to date or find friends, find somebody
[30:11] Speaker 5: that you could relate to and just see what happens,
[30:14] Speaker 5: you can do that there, and they really have been
[30:16] Speaker 5: working towards building a sense of community.
[30:19] Speaker 3: It's more than just a dating app.
[30:21] Speaker 5: You can use it for so many different things and
[30:23] Speaker 5: in fact, they say that sixty two percent of the
[30:25] Speaker 5: members evolve their sexuality, their interest, and their desires. And
[30:29] Speaker 5: you get to select all of that and update it
[30:32] Speaker 5: whenever you feel like it on the Field app.
[30:34] Speaker 1: And I'm not even gonna lie when I've had some
[30:36] Speaker 1: of my friends be like, I'm really I'm bored dating.
[30:39] Speaker 1: I've sent them a Field app, and so I'm gonna
[30:41] Speaker 1: send it to y'all too. You guys, download the Field
[30:43] Speaker 1: app on the App Store or a Google Play and
[30:46] Speaker 1: tell us.
[30:46] Speaker 5: What you think anyway, back to what what we were
[30:50] Speaker 5: talking about earlier updates and stuff. I'm glad that you
[30:53] Speaker 5: had a good retreat though, and thank you for the
[30:55] Speaker 5: hot sauce. Medina brought me this hot sauce. I'm so
[30:57] Speaker 5: thirsty for gifts and food.
[31:00] Speaker 3: I'm hungry.
[31:02] Speaker 1: It was wrapped up hot sauce I like, so I
[31:04] Speaker 1: was like, let me not torture, Kiki. The type of
[31:07] Speaker 1: hot sauce that I like is the type of hot
[31:08] Speaker 1: sauce that makes your nose run mouth getting them so
[31:11] Speaker 1: like the hot sauce that I got for myself, It's
[31:13] Speaker 1: like ghost.
[31:14] Speaker 2: I was like, why the fuck would you get? I
[31:16] Speaker 2: just love it. It's so good.
[31:19] Speaker 1: Another thing I wanted to tell you that we did
[31:20] Speaker 1: while we were in Costa Rica was we went surfing.
[31:23] Speaker 2: Mm hmm, Kiki.
[31:24] Speaker 1: It was so much fun and my I didn't know
[31:27] Speaker 1: that everybody didn't get a one on one surf lesson,
[31:29] Speaker 1: but I did. Some people were in little groups of
[31:32] Speaker 1: three and four, and I was like, I was by myself,
[31:34] Speaker 1: get my hown surf lesson. Meanwhile, my little surfer lesson
[31:36] Speaker 1: dude was trying to flirt with me, talking about you
[31:37] Speaker 1: trying to have a Coasta Rican baby.
[31:39] Speaker 3: I was like, and that's why you had your own lesson,
[31:41] Speaker 3: and I'm so.
[31:42] Speaker 2: Happy that I did. It was oh so much?
[31:44] Speaker 3: Is it a costa Rican baby?
[31:46] Speaker 5: Coming?
[31:48] Speaker 2: He was first? While he was too young, I said,
[31:49] Speaker 2: I how older you? He was twenty twelve.
[31:51] Speaker 1: I could be your brother, Like stop, so just teach
[31:54] Speaker 1: me how to surf. There was a shark in the
[31:56] Speaker 1: water while I was surfing and.
[31:58] Speaker 2: I and I feel like I conjured it up. You know,
[32:00] Speaker 2: I got my little I got my little shark.
[32:01] Speaker 3: Tech and you was talking about it.
[32:02] Speaker 2: You wanted to swim with the shark indeed, but I
[32:05] Speaker 2: was asking did you surf?
[32:08] Speaker 3: Like did you say that?
[32:09] Speaker 7: Once? It was?
[32:10] Speaker 2: I was horrible, but it was still so much fun.
[32:12] Speaker 1: There were so many moments where like the waves were
[32:14] Speaker 1: just busting me upside my head, like twenty twenty four,
[32:17] Speaker 1: and he was like, do you want to stop?
[32:19] Speaker 2: Do you want to get out? And I was like no,
[32:21] Speaker 2: I want to keep going. He was like, I really
[32:22] Speaker 2: love you, and I was like, I love you too.
[32:27] Speaker 3: Love is such a strong word that people just be
[32:29] Speaker 3: thrown around y'all out there, sir, I love you. I
[32:31] Speaker 3: love you too, girl, what I've enjoyed.
[32:34] Speaker 2: If y'all have never served before, please serve. It was
[32:36] Speaker 2: so such a challenge, but it was so much fun. Anyways,
[32:38] Speaker 2: how are you sicks? What have you been up to?
[32:43] Speaker 3: Something was in my throat. I have been up to
[32:46] Speaker 3: more than saying I just feeling good. Let me think.
[32:49] Speaker 5: Okay, so my trip, my trip is coming up. Curious
[32:52] Speaker 5: how I'm very excited about it. I have been reaching
[32:57] Speaker 5: out to different companies and experience and stuff because we
[33:02] Speaker 5: have a set itinerary, which is everything that everybody has
[33:06] Speaker 5: already paid for, and then I have gifts that I
[33:09] Speaker 5: just personally wanted to give to everyone. This is my
[33:12] Speaker 5: first trip that I'm actually hosting, not just promoting, and
[33:15] Speaker 5: I want people to have a good time. And I
[33:17] Speaker 5: appreciate anybody who chooses to spend their money and most
[33:20] Speaker 5: importantly time, because we can't get that back. You can
[33:22] Speaker 5: make some more money, you can get your time back.
[33:24] Speaker 5: And I want people to go and come with an
[33:26] Speaker 5: open mind and all the other things I've said before.
[33:31] Speaker 5: They did open up some more spots, so the trip
[33:33] Speaker 5: is happening. It is March nineteenth through twenty third. You
[33:37] Speaker 5: can still sign up when you hear this. I don't
[33:39] Speaker 5: know if there's any more private rooms left. I know
[33:42] Speaker 5: that there are definitely like double rooms, So if you
[33:45] Speaker 5: have questions or whatever, hit me up.
[33:46] Speaker 3: I can help you.
[33:47] Speaker 5: And they're being pretty flexible with payments, even though initially
[33:51] Speaker 5: I was telling y'all, you know, there were payment plans
[33:54] Speaker 5: and you had to have it paid by December. But
[33:57] Speaker 5: now that we're closest to the date, they did open
[34:00] Speaker 5: up some more spots, So hit me up if you're interested.
[34:03] Speaker 2: But I'm really excited about it.
[34:05] Speaker 5: I'm also talking to different companies and trying to put
[34:08] Speaker 5: stuff together, and I've been reaching out to the different ladies.
[34:11] Speaker 5: Not everybody yet, but a few people, and just getting
[34:14] Speaker 5: to know people I don't know. I know one person
[34:18] Speaker 5: that is going on the trip for sure, and then
[34:21] Speaker 5: I have two friends who have signed up, but one
[34:25] Speaker 5: person is coming like with me, so they're gonna come
[34:27] Speaker 5: early and help me out.
[34:28] Speaker 3: But then the other two they're coming. Everybody else I
[34:31] Speaker 3: don't know.
[34:32] Speaker 5: So I am so excited to like get to meet
[34:34] Speaker 5: the people in person if we've never met before, Like
[34:37] Speaker 5: I'm just looking at their names I'm not sure and
[34:40] Speaker 5: making new friends and just trying to have like a
[34:43] Speaker 5: good quality in person experience, and then outside of what
[34:47] Speaker 5: we're already doing, I'm really excited to be able to
[34:51] Speaker 5: provide like some extras that they don't know about. And
[34:53] Speaker 5: I'm not gonna tell y'all on the show because I
[34:55] Speaker 5: wanted to be like a total surprise. But I've been
[34:57] Speaker 5: working really hard on it and I'm just really excited.
[34:59] Speaker 5: And it's a place that I mean, I've only been once,
[35:02] Speaker 5: but I really fell in love with it and as
[35:04] Speaker 5: many places I go and I hate it, it's very
[35:07] Speaker 5: rare that I ever go anywhere, whether it's in America
[35:11] Speaker 5: or out of the country, where I'm just like, I
[35:13] Speaker 5: love it.
[35:13] Speaker 3: It was just the people, the culture, the food. That's
[35:17] Speaker 3: my biggest thing.
[35:19] Speaker 2: That food.
[35:20] Speaker 3: I was not hungry when I laughed. I had so
[35:22] Speaker 3: many different things, even the things that I tasted.
[35:24] Speaker 5: And tried and didn't like. The experience overall was cool.
[35:27] Speaker 5: So I'm really excited about that trip.
[35:30] Speaker 1: And then.
[35:32] Speaker 5: I was I gonna say, so, I know that we
[35:35] Speaker 5: talked about goals and stuff for the end of twenty
[35:38] Speaker 5: twenty five, and I mean twenty twenty four, I'm skipping
[35:41] Speaker 5: a whole year.
[35:42] Speaker 3: I said the end of twenty twenty five. We just
[35:44] Speaker 3: got here, moving quick.
[35:47] Speaker 2: It is moving quick.
[35:48] Speaker 6: Though.
[35:50] Speaker 5: I had talked about, like several episodes, having imposter syndrome
[35:54] Speaker 5: and self doubt and just like not feeling myself like
[35:57] Speaker 5: I need to feel myself like I know things. But anyway,
[36:02] Speaker 5: I am going to be speaking at a conference. I
[36:05] Speaker 5: was selected to speak at a conference about podcasting and
[36:08] Speaker 5: live shows, and I'm very very excited about that. I
[36:10] Speaker 5: was very nervous about it. I don't know if it
[36:12] Speaker 5: was gonna happen.
[36:12] Speaker 3: I don't even know. I'm supposed to say nothing yet,
[36:14] Speaker 3: but don't tell nobody.
[36:16] Speaker 2: If I wasn't.
[36:17] Speaker 3: But I'm so excited.
[36:18] Speaker 5: It was a big, big goal for me for so
[36:23] Speaker 5: many different reasons outside of podcasting. It was a lot
[36:25] Speaker 5: of like personal challenges that I've been trying to overcome,
[36:31] Speaker 5: and so just being selected for that experience and being
[36:36] Speaker 5: able to do it and getting excited about that, that's
[36:39] Speaker 5: really cool. I have been talking about like a new
[36:42] Speaker 5: project that I've been working on and I haven't shared
[36:46] Speaker 5: a ton about it, but it's a new show, and
[36:51] Speaker 5: on the show, I don't know what I've shared, but
[36:53] Speaker 5: on the show, I'm only interviewing people.
[36:56] Speaker 3: It's not about me at all, which is very different
[36:58] Speaker 3: in a good way.
[36:59] Speaker 1: I like it.
[37:01] Speaker 3: It wasn't my idea, so it's new.
[37:03] Speaker 5: It's like it's challenging in a good way in so
[37:07] Speaker 5: many ways, because it's like, Okay, somebody tells you I
[37:09] Speaker 5: have an idea for something, and I would like to
[37:11] Speaker 5: hire you to do this.
[37:12] Speaker 3: I want you to produce this show. I want you
[37:14] Speaker 3: to host this show. But this is the vision.
[37:16] Speaker 5: And now I've got to take somebody else's vision and produce,
[37:21] Speaker 5: like produce something. I've got to come up with something.
[37:25] Speaker 5: I've got to make it happen. I tell them, oh,
[37:28] Speaker 5: I can do this, I can do this, I can
[37:29] Speaker 5: do this, but then you got to actually deliver because
[37:31] Speaker 5: they pay you on time in advance, and so it's
[37:35] Speaker 5: like you definitely don't want to.
[37:37] Speaker 3: Fuck that up, and I haven't so far.
[37:42] Speaker 5: But it's a new show coming in late February after
[37:46] Speaker 5: Valentine's Day.
[37:47] Speaker 3: But I'm very excited about it. I was very surprised,
[37:49] Speaker 3: and I tell them.
[37:49] Speaker 5: Probably every time we have a meeting, these people ask
[37:52] Speaker 5: me to do a show where I'm interviewing me in
[37:55] Speaker 5: first of all, that in and of itself is just like.
[38:00] Speaker 2: Me from cocktails.
[38:01] Speaker 3: You want me to talk to the men vote and
[38:05] Speaker 3: I'm interviewing them.
[38:07] Speaker 5: It's not like cocktails at all. It's different, but it's
[38:11] Speaker 5: like it's less about me. My personality is still going
[38:14] Speaker 5: to be there and it's more about them. But you
[38:16] Speaker 5: guys will get to see me in a different light.
[38:19] Speaker 5: And I'm excited and anxious about that to see like
[38:23] Speaker 5: how it is received and how it goes. But I've
[38:26] Speaker 5: been having so much fun with it. I've learned a lot,
[38:28] Speaker 5: and it's also outside of just the show itself and everything.
[38:36] Speaker 5: It's been something that I've wanted to get in more
[38:38] Speaker 5: rooms with more people who are passionate about what I'm
[38:43] Speaker 5: passionate about, which is podcasting, digital media, creating content, all
[38:50] Speaker 5: that stuff Like podcasting is very important to me. I
[38:54] Speaker 5: really love it. I literally went to school for broadcast journalism.
[39:00] Speaker 5: I thought I would do news or radio and I
[39:02] Speaker 5: didn't know about podcasting. But once I found out about podcasting,
[39:06] Speaker 5: like that was something that just really resonated with me.
[39:10] Speaker 5: And I really want to continue to grow, not as
[39:14] Speaker 5: necessarily a host, but just in so many different aspects.
[39:18] Speaker 5: And so it's nice to work with a ton of
[39:22] Speaker 5: other people who love behind the scenes stuff, because it's
[39:26] Speaker 5: different working with people who are hosting or people who
[39:29] Speaker 5: are just not in a bad way, but people who
[39:32] Speaker 5: are just in it for like, Okay, I think I
[39:35] Speaker 5: can make a lot of money because we all see
[39:37] Speaker 5: the stories about the podcasters who do get multimillion dollar.
[39:40] Speaker 2: Dad seem all the time all the time, but.
[39:44] Speaker 3: That is not the reality for everybody.
[39:46] Speaker 5: And there's so many different ways to also be a storyteller,
[39:50] Speaker 5: whether you're making skits, whether you are doing a podcast
[39:54] Speaker 5: of law and there's a radio show.
[39:57] Speaker 1: Those of us that do it, and you if you're
[40:00] Speaker 1: not making the millions love which love is just like
[40:04] Speaker 1: the art of it, like the behind the scenes, like okay,
[40:07] Speaker 1: how are you about to make whether anybody's listening, watching,
[40:10] Speaker 1: or subscribing or not, like you have a.
[40:11] Speaker 3: Passion and something about you that makes you want to
[40:15] Speaker 3: do it.
[40:15] Speaker 5: And then also being able to work with a company
[40:18] Speaker 5: that gets digital because I haven't always had that experience
[40:23] Speaker 5: throughout my career, Like I've always worked in media as
[40:27] Speaker 5: a professional, like post college, but it hasn't always been
[40:32] Speaker 5: like what I wanted it to be. So it's just
[40:35] Speaker 5: nice and I just especially love that I work with
[40:37] Speaker 5: so many women who are so driven, creative and talented
[40:42] Speaker 5: and encouraging. Even one day, we were having a meeting
[40:45] Speaker 5: and we were doing feedback about stuff and I personally
[40:48] Speaker 5: I didn't even tell them this.
[40:49] Speaker 3: They might be listening, but I felt like they.
[40:54] Speaker 5: Were a little like timid to give thoughts on me
[41:00] Speaker 5: right in my performance. And I was like, y'all can
[41:03] Speaker 5: like straight up tell me. I'm not gonna get offended.
[41:05] Speaker 5: I'm not gonna flip it. I don't because I'm also like, well,
[41:07] Speaker 5: I don't know who else they've worked with. Maybe they've
[41:09] Speaker 5: had an experience where like somebody who is operating as
[41:12] Speaker 5: talent is like a diva and they cut up or whatever.
[41:16] Speaker 3: I was like, just tell me. I want the feedback.
[41:18] Speaker 3: I need the feedback. I want the feedback. And they're like, okay, good, well,
[41:21] Speaker 3: I'm glad this person said something.
[41:22] Speaker 5: And then I said to this and I'm like, okay,
[41:24] Speaker 5: I'm gonnapply these notes whatever, and it's just good.
[41:27] Speaker 3: Sometimes I've had a lot.
[41:30] Speaker 5: Of work experiences all over the board. Every time I
[41:33] Speaker 5: work with women, it's not always been positive. So it's
[41:36] Speaker 5: just good to be in something new that I was
[41:39] Speaker 5: very anxious and nervous about. That is positive and it's
[41:42] Speaker 5: been continuing.
[41:44] Speaker 3: To go down that path, so that feels good. But
[41:47] Speaker 3: that show is scheduled to launch late February. I tell
[41:50] Speaker 3: y'all real details when I'm suposed to tell y'all, don't
[41:52] Speaker 3: tell nobody.
[41:52] Speaker 5: I told y'all that this is secret Cocktails information, even
[41:55] Speaker 5: though it's all over the internet. I will be posting
[41:58] Speaker 5: pics soon. I'll be getting back to it, but I'll
[42:01] Speaker 5: be having time. So okay, So we talked about heres ou.
[42:05] Speaker 5: We talked about I wanted to make sure.
[42:08] Speaker 2: You got your whole thought out.
[42:10] Speaker 3: Thank you.
[42:11] Speaker 1: Congratulations. That is thank you exciting. I can't wait to
[42:14] Speaker 1: tune in, subscribe, listen. However, I can support congratulations. Thank you.
[42:19] Speaker 5: I'm hoping that we can do a launch party. You're
[42:21] Speaker 5: gonna come, I'll tell you, but we'll see. They'd be like,
[42:24] Speaker 5: but you got a deadline with episodes. That's the other part. Oh,
[42:28] Speaker 5: you need X amount of episodes before the end of
[42:31] Speaker 5: the month. You need this, and you need that, and
[42:32] Speaker 5: it's like nothing, I can't do it. But it's like, babe,
[42:34] Speaker 5: it's not just me.
[42:35] Speaker 3: I'm available. I gotta have a guest. I don't have
[42:38] Speaker 3: a co host. This is so different.
[42:41] Speaker 5: I'm finding solo on this when it's time to sit down,
[42:44] Speaker 5: and like, honestly, the first episode I was like, I
[42:47] Speaker 5: was like, it was weird.
[42:50] Speaker 3: I have to kind of find my footing, especially because
[42:54] Speaker 3: it's also different, and it's.
[42:57] Speaker 2: Like just like it's just like not funny, Like there's
[43:01] Speaker 2: no comical.
[43:02] Speaker 5: There's comical moments, but it's like initially when it's presented,
[43:06] Speaker 5: it's like, Okay, this is like an interview series and
[43:09] Speaker 5: you're going to be interviewing these people and the topics
[43:12] Speaker 5: and subject matter.
[43:13] Speaker 3: To me, you seem more serious. So I'm like, Okay,
[43:16] Speaker 3: I can do it, don't worry, I got you. How
[43:19] Speaker 3: do I put some personality in this to make it entertaining?
[43:22] Speaker 3: How do I not overstep and make it about me
[43:24] Speaker 3: when it's really about the gas?
[43:26] Speaker 2: If you had to compare it to something, what would
[43:28] Speaker 2: you compare it to? Like a show? Like is it
[43:30] Speaker 2: like A Is it like Oprah? Is it like Solo Dad?
[43:33] Speaker 1: Is it like.
[43:35] Speaker 2: CNN?
[43:37] Speaker 5: I don't know, Maybe it's like a contingent version. I
[43:42] Speaker 5: don't watch that show. I just watched the men coming
[43:44] Speaker 5: down the hallway move.
[43:46] Speaker 2: Fosa, everybody coming down the hallway.
[43:49] Speaker 3: I don't.
[43:51] Speaker 2: So bad.
[43:52] Speaker 3: I want to watch in the hallway too, but it's
[43:54] Speaker 3: just like I don't like watching. I did like Move Fasa,
[43:59] Speaker 3: and I watched Move Fosa over and over again. Hey, Arperre,
[44:02] Speaker 3: you wanna come on?
[44:04] Speaker 1: Uh but.
[44:06] Speaker 3: Falsa, We're gonna talk about this later, girl, because wool
[44:11] Speaker 3: is you did not see him with the light eyes?
[44:14] Speaker 1: Yes, you know, I don't like light eyes niggas, but
[44:16] Speaker 1: he's but he is, Okay, I gotta I haven't seen.
[44:21] Speaker 2: I've been in Costa Rica living the Jungle Line.
[44:24] Speaker 3: He was in other movies before that. We're not gonna
[44:27] Speaker 3: disrespect air Pierre. Disrespect him because he's fine as yeah, cute, cute,
[44:33] Speaker 3: and he's fancy because he's got that British accent. And
[44:37] Speaker 3: I've never heard him talk because he find it's fun.
[44:40] Speaker 3: You don't have to hear him talk.
[44:41] Speaker 2: That means he's probably a problem.
[44:44] Speaker 3: We're not gonna project that show. No, but he's on
[44:48] Speaker 3: my list, so baby, I mean sorry, excuse me, excuse me, sir?
[44:53] Speaker 2: Is he married?
[44:54] Speaker 7: Yeah?
[44:54] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[44:55] Speaker 5: I didn't want to google it. I did interview somebody
[45:00] Speaker 5: who is funnest fuck on the internet. Why I interviewed
[45:04] Speaker 5: a few fine people. Okay, so there's one guy. He's
[45:08] Speaker 5: very handsome, but the Internet will be like questioning his sexuality.
[45:15] Speaker 5: When I met him in person and did the interview,
[45:17] Speaker 5: I was like, Okay, you're not the same.
[45:21] Speaker 2: As the Internet.
[45:22] Speaker 3: I see, I see the difference.
[45:24] Speaker 2: Right, Do you see how people could question his sexuality on.
[45:28] Speaker 3: The Internet in person? It's not that I think that
[45:31] Speaker 3: the thing is and you'll see it when that episode
[45:35] Speaker 3: comes out. That was probably my favorite episode that I've
[45:37] Speaker 3: done on the On Instagram, he's a very handsome man.
[45:42] Speaker 3: He's tall, he's a try.
[45:43] Speaker 2: When I first.
[45:46] Speaker 3: Knew about him, he was a dancer for Beyonce and
[45:48] Speaker 3: one of her leading fine ass Nigga dancers when she'd
[45:52] Speaker 3: be doing stuff at her tour. And then we did
[45:57] Speaker 3: the show, and it's like, okay.
[46:00] Speaker 5: On Instagram, it's just like anybody on Instagram who has
[46:03] Speaker 5: a very procured Instagram feed.
[46:08] Speaker 3: Your pictures are professional. They're going to be.
[46:11] Speaker 5: Edited now that you look like another person, but they're
[46:13] Speaker 5: professional images. You ain't paying no hundreds or thousands of
[46:18] Speaker 5: dollars for pictures that looked like you took him straight
[46:20] Speaker 5: off the phone for real, you know, so when I
[46:25] Speaker 5: saw him a person, he still looked the same.
[46:27] Speaker 3: But it's like, Okay, you.
[46:28] Speaker 5: Don't give as much of a pretty boy as you
[46:31] Speaker 5: did before on the pictures.
[46:33] Speaker 3: Yeah, he's married as a wife.
[46:36] Speaker 5: And then when we were talking, I was like, he
[46:39] Speaker 5: is so different than everything that I had in my mind,
[46:44] Speaker 5: like all the preconceived notions because of course I don't
[46:46] Speaker 5: know him.
[46:47] Speaker 3: And I was like, you're really cool, You're really interesting,
[46:49] Speaker 3: and you have a great story.
[46:51] Speaker 5: I hope that this experience will propel you to be
[46:54] Speaker 5: able to tell more of your story because it's a
[46:56] Speaker 5: good one.
[46:57] Speaker 3: Anyway, the man looks good. He still looks good. It
[47:00] Speaker 3: didn't look as pretty, not in a bad way, but
[47:02] Speaker 3: not as pretty, like not as put together in manicure.
[47:08] Speaker 3: It's like you still, man.
[47:10] Speaker 5: It's not like you're trying too hard, I guess, is
[47:12] Speaker 5: what I'm saying, because on the images that you might
[47:14] Speaker 5: see on Instagram, you might think he's trying too hard.
[47:16] Speaker 3: Anyway, it's really cool, baby girl. He cried on this
[47:21] Speaker 3: on the interview. He cried. He evoked so much emotion
[47:26] Speaker 3: and I was shook. He had Warren filmed it. Oh,
[47:33] Speaker 3: he had to give him some tissues. And I was
[47:36] Speaker 3: just like, oh my god, it's gold.
[47:41] Speaker 5: I can't wait to show you. I'm currently editing. I
[47:45] Speaker 5: cannot wait to share this with you. That interview was
[47:48] Speaker 5: probably my favorite. I've interviewed a few other people, and
[47:51] Speaker 5: what I will say across the board, I've done some
[47:55] Speaker 5: virtual interviews and I've done some in person ones. I
[47:58] Speaker 5: think that this is it a weird way just alignment
[48:04] Speaker 5: with my personal growth, because sometimes y'all know, if you're
[48:09] Speaker 5: new here, you don't but if you owe, you know,
[48:11] Speaker 5: niggas be bothering me.
[48:14] Speaker 3: They frustrate me.
[48:15] Speaker 5: I get upset when y'all be doing my girls wrong.
[48:18] Speaker 5: I get upset when y'all do me wrong. That's why
[48:20] Speaker 5: I don't participate.
[48:21] Speaker 3: And I'm just like right, but in talking to these
[48:25] Speaker 3: men who are able to articulate themselves and express their opinions,
[48:32] Speaker 3: I don't agree with everybody.
[48:34] Speaker 5: I don't agree with everything that everybody has said. However,
[48:37] Speaker 5: what I've appreciated about every person pretty much that I've
[48:42] Speaker 5: interviewed thus far is that they have an opinion, they're
[48:47] Speaker 5: able to articulate it, and they can express themselves. And
[48:50] Speaker 5: even if we just agree to disagree, it's nice to
[48:53] Speaker 5: hear men who can stand on what they feel and
[48:57] Speaker 5: not revert back to things they song, Twitter, Instagram or
[49:01] Speaker 5: like like trending topics types of things or Twitter topics
[49:05] Speaker 5: and stuff like that. It's like, Okay, this is my experience,
[49:07] Speaker 5: this is why I feel this way, this is how
[49:08] Speaker 5: I move, and this is what it is, and this
[49:11] Speaker 5: is how I view manhood, this is how I view masculinity,
[49:14] Speaker 5: this is what I think we should do. This is
[49:16] Speaker 5: my experience.
[49:17] Speaker 3: It's refreshing to hear that versus people who are always
[49:20] Speaker 3: trying to tell us as women what we need to
[49:23] Speaker 3: be doing and where we're lacking and why they are
[49:27] Speaker 3: so great and all the other things that we constantly
[49:30] Speaker 3: hear regurgitated on the internet. So it's been a fun journey.
[49:34] Speaker 3: I will let y'all know if we meet the date
[49:38] Speaker 3: or not.
[49:38] Speaker 5: We're working on it, and if there are any men
[49:42] Speaker 5: that you would like to hear from. I'm open to
[49:46] Speaker 5: hearing who people might be interested. I have a wish
[49:49] Speaker 5: list of some people and we were working The first
[49:52] Speaker 5: person that comes to mind is Altus Hodge.
[49:54] Speaker 2: I thought you were going to say Tyler Play He's
[49:57] Speaker 2: on the.
[49:57] Speaker 3: List, but that's not at the top. I think that
[50:00] Speaker 3: might be coming.
[50:01] Speaker 2: He was so quiet. I actually don't even know if
[50:02] Speaker 2: I've ever heard him.
[50:03] Speaker 5: He talks a lot, actually, and honestly, I told him this,
[50:10] Speaker 5: I want to run through everybody that Mary Jane ran
[50:14] Speaker 5: through on being Mary Jane, every single person. So the
[50:18] Speaker 5: show started as like an interview series where it was
[50:21] Speaker 5: articles and they did like Instagram interviews and other stuff
[50:24] Speaker 5: years ago, and then they started turning into like.
[50:27] Speaker 3: A show show. So I was like, when you're running
[50:29] Speaker 3: back being Mary Jane, miss Mary Jane, Paul, she has
[50:34] Speaker 3: some fun niggas, because that is a requirement and great storyline.
[50:41] Speaker 3: I want to rewatch it. I've been talking to some
[50:45] Speaker 3: friends who have started rewatching. I was like, I'm about
[50:47] Speaker 3: to catch up. You did recently well last year? Okay,
[50:50] Speaker 3: that's recent, that's recent.
[50:51] Speaker 2: I re watched that.
[50:52] Speaker 1: Last year we watched Insecure. I love a good rewatch,
[50:55] Speaker 1: And right now I have my mom rewatching Insecure.
[50:58] Speaker 2: She never watched Insecure. In my bad she's watched its
[51:01] Speaker 2: just like this y'all be doing.
[51:02] Speaker 3: Yes, this is a good depiction of American black American
[51:08] Speaker 3: woman in life.
[51:08] Speaker 2: She loves it.
[51:10] Speaker 7: She loves it.
[51:11] Speaker 3: I was like, I'm so glad you're watching it and
[51:13] Speaker 3: now y'all can talk about it.
[51:15] Speaker 2: Now we can talk about it.
[51:17] Speaker 3: Yeah, I love being Mary Jane. But I feel like
[51:20] Speaker 3: that was like ten years ago, right when it ended.
[51:23] Speaker 5: Yeah, at this point, So I want to rewatch it
[51:26] Speaker 5: again with.
[51:29] Speaker 3: These old eyes and see what I think about it.
[51:33] Speaker 5: But I enjoyed that show, and at the bottom line,
[51:37] Speaker 5: end of the day, whatever we're going to say, those
[51:39] Speaker 5: niggas was fine, and I want to see it.
[51:41] Speaker 3: I want to see them again. I would like to
[51:43] Speaker 3: interview them.
[51:44] Speaker 2: Even y'all use the N word on your new show.
[51:47] Speaker 2: I haven't.
[51:48] Speaker 3: Some of the men have. We'll probably leep it, but
[51:54] Speaker 3: we were trying to be classy. But they do say niggas.
[51:57] Speaker 3: Sometimes they drink.
[51:59] Speaker 2: We don't have cocktails.
[52:01] Speaker 3: Now, I did hear somebody went out of or whatever
[52:05] Speaker 3: y'all be doing.
[52:06] Speaker 5: For your druss uh huh, And I didn't. Well, I'll
[52:09] Speaker 5: save it for another day. I didn't know that that's
[52:12] Speaker 5: what he did. I thought something else happened, And it
[52:14] Speaker 5: was funny because I didn't even know till two weeks later.
[52:16] Speaker 3: I'd be oblivious.
[52:17] Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's funny when people think that I
[52:20] Speaker 5: indulge in that I guess because I don't know.
[52:23] Speaker 3: Why actually in the weeds and I'm like, y'all know
[52:29] Speaker 3: aa or anything adjacent to that, that's where you find
[52:32] Speaker 3: me at baby, But like we.
[52:35] Speaker 2: It stank, it does.
[52:37] Speaker 3: It hurts my eyes irritates them. The food part where
[52:43] Speaker 3: people be wanting having munchies.
[52:46] Speaker 5: No, I meant like the munchies afterwards. But I can
[52:49] Speaker 5: enjoy an animal every now and but it always makes
[52:52] Speaker 5: me sleep anyway. That also, I can't remember if I
[52:56] Speaker 5: said this. There are wedding veils on my way for
[53:00] Speaker 5: people in your family, yes' not me.
[53:03] Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna let me have a little
[53:05] Speaker 3: break to lead up to like pretend. Oh, I guess
[53:10] Speaker 3: this is not Disneyland, kiddos.
[53:14] Speaker 1: Always if we want a reality the storylines that would
[53:18] Speaker 1: be created would be so funny. You have wedding bills.
[53:20] Speaker 1: I thought I had wedding bills in my family lineup.
[53:24] Speaker 2: And it got canceled. That's all I say that. And
[53:30] Speaker 2: I hope you've seen this episode, all right.
[53:35] Speaker 3: Will not sign on that, but on this side on
[53:38] Speaker 3: I won't even go through the last name skol and
[53:40] Speaker 3: thinks they matched my now that I think about it.
[53:42] Speaker 3: But We've got some wedding bells over here.
[53:45] Speaker 2: So are you in the wedding?
[53:48] Speaker 5: Oh no, because the first wedding that I will mention
[53:51] Speaker 5: is my baby sister, not technically my baby sister, but
[53:54] Speaker 5: my baby sister, but my mama. You know, I got
[53:56] Speaker 5: a hashtag modern family. So she got proposed to on
[54:01] Speaker 5: her birthday. I think I mentioned that before, Madison. She's engaged.
[54:04] Speaker 5: I am very happy for them.
[54:06] Speaker 2: Does she have a rid ring or a normal diamond ring.
[54:08] Speaker 3: Just a diamond.
[54:12] Speaker 5: Nobody had surgery or any of that mess you was
[54:18] Speaker 5: doing so or talk about. So she is engaged, she
[54:23] Speaker 5: doesn't want to get married for a few years, why said,
[54:27] Speaker 5: God damn it.
[54:28] Speaker 3: I was ready to start my diet and be skinny Auntie.
[54:33] Speaker 5: And sing Selena at a reception and see whose uncle
[54:38] Speaker 5: wanted a bitty bitty bum bomp You know what I mean?
[54:43] Speaker 3: I don't know.
[54:45] Speaker 2: This bitch is morio.
[54:47] Speaker 3: I would like to be.
[54:52] Speaker 2: There bitty bitty bumm with uncles, but not till five
[54:54] Speaker 2: years later.
[54:55] Speaker 3: So I want to be bitty b bumpomb. Now ain't
[54:58] Speaker 3: gonna be no bitty bitty nothing in five years. My
[55:01] Speaker 3: hip gonna go out or something.
[55:02] Speaker 5: Anyway, she so honestly, they have their own goals. She's
[55:07] Speaker 5: not gonna let anybody rush her. I personally don't want
[55:10] Speaker 5: to put pressure on her.
[55:10] Speaker 3: I'm happy for them. I just wish there was a
[55:13] Speaker 3: sooner wedding. Oh shout out to a positive note.
[55:18] Speaker 5: Orlando and Mela Mila from Good Mom's Bad Choices. They
[55:22] Speaker 5: got engaged over the past weekend or two ago whatever.
[55:27] Speaker 3: Now. I did miss the zoom call because I forgot
[55:30] Speaker 3: that they are on the Pacific coast, and he said
[55:33] Speaker 3: it was at eleven PM over their time. That's two
[55:36] Speaker 3: o'clock in the morning. Baby girl is sleep. I don't
[55:40] Speaker 3: watch all my Westerns and fell asleep. I wasn't gonna
[55:42] Speaker 3: be up for that. I really wanted you to join
[55:44] Speaker 3: this soon. I thought it was going to be eleven
[55:47] Speaker 3: pm here, and then I really read it and say,
[55:50] Speaker 3: oh no. But congratulations to them. They seem very happy.
[55:54] Speaker 5: And I love seeing people in love. I love seeing
[55:58] Speaker 5: people be happy and whether I love seeing people be happy,
[56:05] Speaker 5: and it's just nice to see, especially when sometimes depending
[56:10] Speaker 5: on what you're looking at, it could be a lot
[56:13] Speaker 5: of negativity and other bullshit cloud in your judgment. But
[56:16] Speaker 5: it's nice to see that people are still falling in
[56:18] Speaker 5: love and finding there forever love.
[56:23] Speaker 2: Going down that path I don't know about.
[56:26] Speaker 1: It made its way to Instagram and it was the
[56:28] Speaker 1: girl getting proposed to and the man. They had hired
[56:30] Speaker 1: a singer, and he was singing all of the all
[56:34] Speaker 1: of the like spots for the Jagged Edge song Let's
[56:38] Speaker 1: get married. Oh my god, I last night silently.
[56:42] Speaker 7: I was.
[56:44] Speaker 2: Really.
[56:45] Speaker 3: I was mad.
[56:46] Speaker 1: You couldn't even pay attention to the proposal because the
[56:48] Speaker 1: comments had me die.
[56:49] Speaker 3: I didn't even read the I was upset. I was like,
[56:51] Speaker 3: is this a joke? Is this a skit? Like what's
[56:53] Speaker 3: going on? It seems real? But he was singing so bad,
[56:56] Speaker 3: and I was like, I could have done this, and
[56:59] Speaker 3: that's not a good thing. Nobody hear me squat and
[57:04] Speaker 3: it doesn't sound good. Nobody's sound horrible.
[57:07] Speaker 2: Someone said this is the team moved Jacketedge.
[57:11] Speaker 3: No, thank you. I didn't like it.
[57:13] Speaker 2: I hated it. Love is in the air.
[57:16] Speaker 1: I congratulations to everybody who's getting proposed to or getting married.
[57:19] Speaker 1: That is a beautiful step in life. I hope you're ready,
[57:23] Speaker 1: and I hope you last mm hmm.
[57:26] Speaker 3: I want to go to some more weddings. It's funny
[57:28] Speaker 3: because my grandma was like, oh.
[57:30] Speaker 2: You should talt your care.
[57:31] Speaker 1: I was like, talk to me about what I have
[57:33] Speaker 1: two weddings to go to this year and this year, yeah,
[57:37] Speaker 1: family members, my cousin. And it was funny because my
[57:40] Speaker 1: mom called me today she was like, are we going
[57:41] Speaker 1: to the Brice's wedding.
[57:42] Speaker 2: I was like yeah, Mom. She was like, this is
[57:43] Speaker 2: going to be really expensive, and I was like, Mom,
[57:45] Speaker 2: we're going.
[57:46] Speaker 3: Where is it?
[57:46] Speaker 2: It's an Arizona It is a.
[57:51] Speaker 1: Rather pricey situation, but we're going, like this is This
[57:54] Speaker 1: is a cousin that I really do love.
[57:55] Speaker 2: If I didn't love him that much, I wouldn't go.
[57:57] Speaker 1: But I know, I know it's going to be you
[57:59] Speaker 1: know how some people's and usually like you know, it's
[58:00] Speaker 1: gonna be a time and we probably only with our
[58:02] Speaker 1: own gifts.
[58:04] Speaker 2: So yeah, okay. So I was talking to some friends
[58:11] Speaker 2: about Valentine's Day, and.
[58:13] Speaker 3: You know I love Valentine's you dooo, So I wanted
[58:16] Speaker 3: to ask you, okay, in the spirit of Valentine's Day.
[58:20] Speaker 3: It's not a Valentine's Day episode, but in the spirit
[58:22] Speaker 3: of it, I was curious about I've heard you talk
[58:26] Speaker 3: about Gallantines things love Gallentine. Do you have Do you
[58:31] Speaker 3: happen to have Gallantine's plans this year?
[58:35] Speaker 2: What are you doing?
[58:36] Speaker 1: So?
[58:37] Speaker 2: I have a girlfriend, her name is Chanelle. I have
[58:39] Speaker 2: a few Galentine's Day plans.
[58:41] Speaker 3: Oh you racked them up.
[58:43] Speaker 1: I do my mom's birthday first, so I was February tenth.
[58:46] Speaker 1: So we're doing like a little party for her. But
[58:49] Speaker 1: my girlfriend Chanelle, she is like my friend. That is,
[58:52] Speaker 1: she is the hostess with the mostest, the queen of activities.
[58:56] Speaker 1: She is going to do whatever, like her Chris. This party,
[59:00] Speaker 1: we had so much fun. There were strippers involved.
[59:02] Speaker 2: It was so much fun.
[59:03] Speaker 1: Anyways, she has sent out the invitations for the Gallantine's
[59:06] Speaker 1: Day party, and.
[59:07] Speaker 2: It's a thing like it's a it is like a
[59:09] Speaker 2: yearly thing. She does not play. She's like, bitch, can
[59:12] Speaker 2: you come? You can't come. I'm changing the day.
[59:14] Speaker 1: So she has sent out the evie. She has a
[59:17] Speaker 1: whole little registry on there. We get gifts, we bring
[59:20] Speaker 1: her gifts.
[59:21] Speaker 2: There is a chef.
[59:22] Speaker 1: She's like, there's a dress code, there are games planned out.
[59:26] Speaker 1: I cannot wait until we.
[59:29] Speaker 2: Have this part.
[59:30] Speaker 1: So the birth the birthday party, it feels like a
[59:32] Speaker 1: fucking birthday party. It's not It's Gallentine's Day, and y'all.
[59:35] Speaker 1: Chanel was a guest on our show. She talked about
[59:37] Speaker 1: her getting the Wars and her husband, she and her
[59:39] Speaker 1: and doing some crazy shit.
[59:40] Speaker 2: It's a it's always a big situation. A bunch of
[59:42] Speaker 2: girls are coming.
[59:43] Speaker 1: We have to wear Gallentine's Day themed pajamas and everybody
[59:48] Speaker 1: brings a bottle.
[59:49] Speaker 2: We play games, dance. I mean, it's just such a
[59:52] Speaker 2: good time. Every year.
[59:53] Speaker 1: It's the same thing every year. Okay, but it's such
[59:56] Speaker 1: a tradition. But it's a tradition now it's so much fun.
[1:00:01] Speaker 1: There's a valet like it's it's just like a thing.
[1:00:03] Speaker 1: Everybody pulls up in their pajamas with a little jacket.
[1:00:06] Speaker 1: We go inside and it is just a time. It's
[1:00:08] Speaker 1: a time from the time you step in to the
[1:00:11] Speaker 1: time you leave. If you leave, because more than likely
[1:00:13] Speaker 1: you're probably gonna spend the night.
[1:00:15] Speaker 2: It's just such a good time with really good people.
[1:00:17] Speaker 1: And she's a type of person where she's always making
[1:00:20] Speaker 1: new friends, so there's always gonna be like a new
[1:00:21] Speaker 1: wave of bitches coming through.
[1:00:23] Speaker 2: But everybody is cool.
[1:00:24] Speaker 1: It's not like you get there and there's like there
[1:00:27] Speaker 1: have been so many situations that I've been in where
[1:00:29] Speaker 1: you get around people and it's like, dang, your friends
[1:00:31] Speaker 1: aren't nice, Like it's giving very much mean girl vibes.
[1:00:35] Speaker 2: And it's just not like that.
[1:00:36] Speaker 1: It's a it's a group of women that everybody gets along.
[1:00:39] Speaker 1: Everybody is from different walks of life. It's different careers, and.
[1:00:43] Speaker 2: It's just a really good time and you leave with
[1:00:45] Speaker 2: a gift and drunk that that's the best way to leave.
[1:00:51] Speaker 2: And nobody is like there's no male energy.
[1:00:56] Speaker 1: So it's very much just a really good good time
[1:00:59] Speaker 1: to to gather with your girls and have a good
[1:01:01] Speaker 1: time bonding, bonding if you will. And everything is like catered.
[1:01:06] Speaker 1: So it's also like a there's like a standard that
[1:01:09] Speaker 1: she always meets. She never misses, you know what I mean,
[1:01:12] Speaker 1: you know who never missed the the most. It's not
[1:01:16] Speaker 1: like everybody bring food. It's like everything is. You don't
[1:01:18] Speaker 1: got to bring anything but your be and your pajamas.
[1:01:22] Speaker 1: And even if you don't bring a bottle, there's there's
[1:01:25] Speaker 1: bottles there. It's it's just it's like a it feels
[1:01:28] Speaker 1: like an Instagram reel when you walk into Chanelle's house.
[1:01:30] Speaker 1: You feel like you've entered into an Instagram reel that
[1:01:33] Speaker 1: was edited precisely and virally rotated around the internet.
[1:01:40] Speaker 2: Gallentine's Day plans for you? Do you have anything?
[1:01:42] Speaker 3: So I don't have any.
[1:01:44] Speaker 5: I have been trying to plan, but it has been
[1:01:47] Speaker 5: so hard for several reasons, but the biggest one being
[1:01:51] Speaker 5: everybody is so goddamn busy, and busy in a good way.
[1:01:55] Speaker 5: And I'm happy for everybody because it's just like so
[1:01:58] Speaker 5: many things have been happening. I have some friends who
[1:02:00] Speaker 5: are currently filming a show, like a TV show, and
[1:02:04] Speaker 5: so they're traveling around the world and they're like, well, girl,
[1:02:09] Speaker 5: we want to plan this, but we'll have to plan
[1:02:11] Speaker 5: at the end of the month. We'll see and then
[1:02:13] Speaker 5: people we have men.
[1:02:16] Speaker 2: But Galentine's Day isn't Valentine's Day. It's a different date.
[1:02:20] Speaker 3: Oh, we'll be doing it on Valentine's Day.
[1:02:22] Speaker 5: Oh, or it could be another day. But like, if
[1:02:25] Speaker 5: everybody's single and don't have plans, we will do it
[1:02:28] Speaker 5: on Valentine's Day.
[1:02:30] Speaker 3: Valentine's Day is the season, I guess for whatever day
[1:02:33] Speaker 3: you want.
[1:02:35] Speaker 5: But even still, it's like, Okay, well, everybody is actually busy.
[1:02:38] Speaker 5: They have obligations and stuff, so we're trying to figure
[1:02:41] Speaker 5: out a date to do things, and people are literally
[1:02:44] Speaker 5: scattered across the world, even though every the main people
[1:02:47] Speaker 5: I'm thinking about right now home base is here, but
[1:02:50] Speaker 5: people are all over, so we'll see how it goes.
[1:02:53] Speaker 5: I do have a friend who has a birthday coming up,
[1:02:55] Speaker 5: and I was like, well, girl, even if we have
[1:02:57] Speaker 5: to take it back to twenty twenty and do a
[1:02:59] Speaker 5: fuck zoom party, we're gonna celebrate you.
[1:03:03] Speaker 3: You always celebrate us.
[1:03:05] Speaker 1: Uh.
[1:03:06] Speaker 5: We will get on the phones, on the computers and
[1:03:08] Speaker 5: the iPads or whatever the fuck, because at the end
[1:03:10] Speaker 5: of the day, no matter where we are in the world,
[1:03:13] Speaker 5: it feels good to have people who are in your
[1:03:16] Speaker 5: corner and we're gonna celebrate each other. And we're not
[1:03:18] Speaker 5: gonna stop because you moved away to the fucking mountains
[1:03:21] Speaker 5: and Oregon, so we'll do that Oregon. She's an organ
[1:03:25] Speaker 5: on like a contract out there. But then it's like, okay, well.
[1:03:31] Speaker 3: Valentine's Day Galentinees is two weeks away, and we've all
[1:03:34] Speaker 3: got to figure out how that works. So I don't know.
[1:03:37] Speaker 5: And I was also toying with some different ideas about
[1:03:40] Speaker 5: different things that I could do, whether it be with
[1:03:43] Speaker 5: friends or something that I would open up to the public.
[1:03:46] Speaker 2: Have you seen this tea party bus?
[1:03:48] Speaker 3: Yes, I wanted to go with my mama, which came
[1:03:51] Speaker 3: back here for my birthday.
[1:03:52] Speaker 5: I was literally about to book it, and she was
[1:03:55] Speaker 5: giving me weird vibes like, yeah, but you are the
[1:04:01] Speaker 5: tea party queen, like you've been talking. You are the
[1:04:03] Speaker 5: one who put me onto tea parties. But it was
[1:04:05] Speaker 5: because she had already planned a surprise party for me
[1:04:08] Speaker 5: and I didn't know that and that's why she was
[1:04:11] Speaker 5: like And I was like, She says, anyway, I won't
[1:04:14] Speaker 5: go to that tea party bus, and I am going
[1:04:17] Speaker 5: this year.
[1:04:18] Speaker 3: We can go together.
[1:04:19] Speaker 5: If we don't go about the Indiduce year, we're going
[1:04:21] Speaker 5: by the Indus Year. I think it's cute, but yeah,
[1:04:26] Speaker 5: we're gonna do some something, whether we're in person or
[1:04:30] Speaker 5: virtual or whatever.
[1:04:31] Speaker 3: I think everybody could use that. And I think it's really.
[1:04:35] Speaker 5: Important with your girlfriends to still check in whether people
[1:04:38] Speaker 5: are single or not, it don't matter, check over their people.
[1:04:41] Speaker 3: Because as I get older, I realized.
[1:04:44] Speaker 5: How much Valentine's Day is about love and we are
[1:04:50] Speaker 5: conditioned to think about like romantic love, but all the
[1:04:53] Speaker 5: love matters, and I want everybody to feel love that day.
[1:04:57] Speaker 5: And I want to be really intentional this year, especially
[1:04:59] Speaker 5: because I've feel like I have better energy. I want
[1:05:02] Speaker 5: to share that, and I want people to feel good.
[1:05:05] Speaker 5: I don't want people to be sad, especially anybody that
[1:05:09] Speaker 5: I talked to, touch or like it's close to me.
[1:05:12] Speaker 5: I want everybody feel good because that can be a
[1:05:15] Speaker 5: sad day, no matter how trivial it may seem to some.
[1:05:19] Speaker 5: It's just like we all got our things.
[1:05:22] Speaker 3: Do we all want to see motherfucker's kissing every day.
[1:05:25] Speaker 3: I know I haven't always and it would trigger me.
[1:05:28] Speaker 3: I'm getting triggered right now, so let me move on.
[1:05:31] Speaker 3: But you know, I'm excited about that Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day,
[1:05:38] Speaker 3: I guess that's really it. I've just been trying to
[1:05:41] Speaker 3: stick to things that I said I was gonna do.
[1:05:43] Speaker 3: A I always working out. Well, y'all bust my face.
[1:05:47] Speaker 3: You busted your face well the side. I think that's
[1:05:51] Speaker 3: why my eyes are stated now that I think about it.
[1:05:54] Speaker 2: I got a walking path for Christmas. It's a gift
[1:05:57] Speaker 2: and I want to curved ones or is it just
[1:05:59] Speaker 2: a straight I'm.
[1:06:00] Speaker 3: Not advanced straight flat. It don't even go that fast.
[1:06:04] Speaker 3: It goes to three point oh whatever that means in
[1:06:07] Speaker 3: speed terms of a treadmill. Inded, I I put it by.
[1:06:11] Speaker 3: I was trying to figure out could I put it
[1:06:12] Speaker 3: by the stove or could I put it.
[1:06:14] Speaker 2: By the sink.
[1:06:16] Speaker 3: I did both, so I was trying to do like
[1:06:19] Speaker 3: side lunges and do it slow.
[1:06:21] Speaker 2: That don't seem like that's supposed to happen.
[1:06:24] Speaker 3: I saw a video and the girls were doing it.
[1:06:27] Speaker 2: But were they athletic girls? I don't know.
[1:06:29] Speaker 5: She had rolls in her hair and a roband. I
[1:06:32] Speaker 5: had a bottle and a roband. To me, same, okay,
[1:06:36] Speaker 5: my trip fell well.
[1:06:37] Speaker 1: He was like.
[1:06:39] Speaker 5: She had to come see it by her mama because
[1:06:41] Speaker 5: I fell in bust my ass. Then my dumb ass
[1:06:45] Speaker 5: just moved it, and I was.
[1:06:45] Speaker 3: Like, maybe I should wash dishes.
[1:06:49] Speaker 5: Just cook, y'all, do not recommend that. I'll report back
[1:06:53] Speaker 5: in three weeks and let y'all know about my new placement.
[1:06:56] Speaker 3: But I do watch it.
[1:06:57] Speaker 5: While I watched the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City
[1:07:00] Speaker 5: to tell me a Beverly Hills and that's probably the
[1:07:02] Speaker 5: safest activity.
[1:07:04] Speaker 3: Speaking of the.
[1:07:04] Speaker 1: Real Housewife, Yesterday, I was getting my nails done and
[1:07:07] Speaker 1: I saw Kim. Did we get our nose done at
[1:07:09] Speaker 1: the same place?
[1:07:09] Speaker 3: And I was like, Jim, moo, not so chat, where
[1:07:13] Speaker 3: is your scooter? Do you know what that's from?
[1:07:17] Speaker 2: I just know it was Kim? And oh wow, that's Kim.
[1:07:23] Speaker 6: I just was like, she looked very cute. I never
[1:07:26] Speaker 6: the last time I saw her, she wasn't cute, but
[1:07:28] Speaker 6: she had looked good. Wig was on fly Bleak it
[1:07:31] Speaker 6: was it was on there, secure it, it was on there.
[1:07:35] Speaker 2: She looked very cute. And I was just like looking
[1:07:36] Speaker 2: at her. I was looking at her face.
[1:07:38] Speaker 1: I'm doing this thing now where I just look at
[1:07:39] Speaker 1: all the women that have gotten a lot of fillers
[1:07:41] Speaker 1: and a lot of work done on their face. And
[1:07:44] Speaker 1: and I'm starting to get very nervous. I'm trying not
[1:07:46] Speaker 1: to back out of my appointment. When is it Friday morning?
[1:07:51] Speaker 1: I'm getting this Friday so after the so yeah, and
[1:07:54] Speaker 1: I'm starting to get very nervous because I've never.
[1:07:56] Speaker 2: Touched my face.
[1:07:57] Speaker 1: I've gotten a little botox right in the middle of
[1:07:59] Speaker 1: my foor, but that's it. And so this time I'm
[1:08:02] Speaker 1: going all.
[1:08:03] Speaker 2: In full fledged.
[1:08:05] Speaker 3: What are you getting?
[1:08:05] Speaker 2: Just chin right, I'm getting a few things I'll tell
[1:08:08] Speaker 2: have camera.
[1:08:09] Speaker 1: But I am still very nervous because it's like that's
[1:08:11] Speaker 1: your face and some shit goes wrong, like it goes wrong.
[1:08:14] Speaker 1: And I'm also I have an audition to audition for
[1:08:16] Speaker 1: the worship team in my church, and so I don't
[1:08:18] Speaker 1: want to look up fucking fool.
[1:08:21] Speaker 3: The worship team will be fine. It's gonna be the internet.
[1:08:23] Speaker 3: That's the problem.
[1:08:26] Speaker 2: Feelers in worship doesn't go together.
[1:08:30] Speaker 3: So don't let them people lie to you. Well, so scared.
[1:08:40] Speaker 2: I'm so scared, and that's.
[1:08:41] Speaker 3: Fine, but don't let them people lie to you. They'd
[1:08:43] Speaker 3: be getting it.
[1:08:45] Speaker 2: I just don't want to look crazy, that's all.
[1:08:46] Speaker 3: I'm just understandable, understandable.
[1:08:48] Speaker 1: Because I'm just worried about like the swelling and I
[1:08:51] Speaker 1: think I'm just going to cover my face.
[1:08:54] Speaker 2: When is your audition? My audition is January twenty third,
[1:08:59] Speaker 2: so it's yeah, I don't want to.
[1:09:01] Speaker 5: Look crazy your mask or my mask and sing, oh
[1:09:07] Speaker 5: you have to sing?
[1:09:07] Speaker 3: I thought you was praised.
[1:09:08] Speaker 2: Dan, No bitch, let me stop.
[1:09:13] Speaker 3: So big Alaine, I.
[1:09:14] Speaker 1: Can't be the Laine and Jesus knows my heart and
[1:09:17] Speaker 1: he was befriended, so bad, go ahead.
[1:09:20] Speaker 2: He was befriending prostitutes and thieves.
[1:09:22] Speaker 1: So I'm not either of those, So I have to sing.
[1:09:27] Speaker 1: I'm actually like, I'm auditioning to be on the worship
[1:09:29] Speaker 1: team and my church are the singers.
[1:09:32] Speaker 3: Oh okay, so I have to sing. I think you
[1:09:35] Speaker 3: did tell me that before.
[1:09:36] Speaker 2: I was I have to sing.
[1:09:38] Speaker 1: I'm really like, I'm really At first I was like
[1:09:41] Speaker 1: I was just playing, and now it's like I'm really
[1:09:43] Speaker 1: doing it.
[1:09:45] Speaker 3: January twenty third.
[1:09:47] Speaker 2: Yeah, they sent me my list of songs and it's
[1:09:50] Speaker 2: a live band.
[1:09:51] Speaker 3: Like it's like you have sheet music and suck.
[1:09:53] Speaker 1: No, it's not sheet music and not actually the list
[1:09:56] Speaker 1: of songs that they send me, I don't know any
[1:09:57] Speaker 1: of them.
[1:09:59] Speaker 3: You you know who you need to listen to?
[1:10:02] Speaker 1: Who?
[1:10:02] Speaker 3: The Clark Sisters?
[1:10:04] Speaker 7: No?
[1:10:05] Speaker 2: Why because I already have a song that I want
[1:10:07] Speaker 2: to sing, so I asked them.
[1:10:08] Speaker 5: But those are great gospel singers. Just to get you
[1:10:10] Speaker 5: going and get you pumped up. Not that you need
[1:10:13] Speaker 5: to sound like that, but just to pump you up.
[1:10:16] Speaker 3: They're encouraged. Karen Clark's shared a Bomb and Gilead listen
[1:10:22] Speaker 3: it's gonna get you pumped up and then you get
[1:10:24] Speaker 3: your pipes warmed up and you do your own thing.
[1:10:26] Speaker 3: Now that you need to emulate them, but.
[1:10:30] Speaker 5: They gonna get your spirit right. I'm telling you, what
[1:10:34] Speaker 5: is it? I know it sounds a little Mermaid.
[1:10:37] Speaker 2: It has to be a I know.
[1:10:39] Speaker 3: I was just wondering because you was like, no to
[1:10:41] Speaker 3: the Clark Sisters. Is like everybody know the Clark's Sisters.
[1:10:45] Speaker 3: Tear it down, tear it down like a Clark sister.
[1:10:50] Speaker 3: I'm just saying to get you in your zone so
[1:10:51] Speaker 3: that you can get into your zone.
[1:10:53] Speaker 1: And a different way to get into my zone. So
[1:10:56] Speaker 1: what you do that I have a different song. I'm
[1:10:58] Speaker 1: not gonna announce it here because because I don't feel
[1:11:00] Speaker 1: like hearing anybody. God, Oh, I am so nervous, and
[1:11:07] Speaker 1: I am just like this is such a different realm,
[1:11:10] Speaker 1: and I'm just like, Okay.
[1:11:11] Speaker 2: We're doing We're really doing this, like we're actually committing
[1:11:13] Speaker 2: to this.
[1:11:14] Speaker 1: And I'm going to be a background singer for the
[1:11:18] Speaker 1: guy for the sky Daddy, and I'm excited for it.
[1:11:21] Speaker 2: If I get chose. If I get chose, you probably will,
[1:11:23] Speaker 2: I mean I know I will. Yeah, I may wants
[1:11:27] Speaker 2: to be real. I will, but this is very this
[1:11:32] Speaker 2: is just so different, and I was like, I just
[1:11:35] Speaker 2: wonder how this is about to go for real?
[1:11:37] Speaker 1: Like this is a very this is just very different.
[1:11:42] Speaker 1: But I feel so like it feels so perfect. And
[1:11:45] Speaker 1: I told myself twenty twenty five, I'm living in integrity.
[1:11:49] Speaker 1: If it makes sense or if it doesn't make sense,
[1:11:51] Speaker 1: and a lot of shit hasn't been making sense, but
[1:11:54] Speaker 1: it also feels very right. So I'm very excited about it.
[1:12:00] Speaker 1: I go, I'm singing the song when I'm saying I'll
[1:12:02] Speaker 1: say it, I'm gonna text it to you.
[1:12:04] Speaker 3: Okay, I'm anxious to hear this song.
[1:12:06] Speaker 1: Now.
[1:12:06] Speaker 3: I got a peace. So we'll we're way over time.

[1:15:00] Speaker 1: So our first advice letter is titled heartbreak Advice, and
[1:15:09] Speaker 1: this is rather lengthy. Hey ladies, I'm a twenty seven
[1:15:14] Speaker 1: year old female and I was dating a guy, twenty
[1:15:17] Speaker 1: eight year old male for a month and we really.
[1:15:19] Speaker 2: Hit it off.
[1:15:21] Speaker 1: On the fourth date, he asked me to be his
[1:15:23] Speaker 1: girlfriend and I said yes, that's very soon. Last week
[1:15:28] Speaker 1: he told me that he would be signing up for
[1:15:30] Speaker 1: school on Tuesday. When he told me this, I told
[1:15:32] Speaker 1: him he needs to be realistic if that's something that
[1:15:37] Speaker 1: he's going to work, If that's something that he's going
[1:15:39] Speaker 1: to work. Now that he's in a relationship and his
[1:15:43] Speaker 1: job increased his schedule to fifty hours. Fast forward to today,
[1:15:46] Speaker 1: he broke it off with me. Today was also the
[1:15:48] Speaker 1: day he told me he'd be signing it for school.
[1:15:51] Speaker 1: I also can't help but think he was intimidated by
[1:15:54] Speaker 1: my actions.
[1:15:55] Speaker 2: He knew I had my master's. She may be something.
[1:15:58] Speaker 2: She got a little mental illness going on.
[1:16:01] Speaker 1: He knew I had my master's and I made thirty
[1:16:03] Speaker 1: k more than him and was a homeowner. Our first
[1:16:07] Speaker 1: NFL game was fun and he paid, but our second one,
[1:16:10] Speaker 1: I paid for the tickets and got us better seats.
[1:16:12] Speaker 1: He asked me how much I paid for them because
[1:16:14] Speaker 1: they were club access and he had been to the
[1:16:16] Speaker 1: stadium ten times and never seen them before. I never
[1:16:19] Speaker 1: told him because I didn't want him to feel away.
[1:16:22] Speaker 1: He also moved into an apartment and I bought some
[1:16:25] Speaker 1: basic necessities ruds, curtains, a fan, and some soap, and
[1:16:31] Speaker 1: it meant the world to him. He said, a girl
[1:16:34] Speaker 1: has never spent a.
[1:16:34] Speaker 2: Dime on him. I also told him I have a.

[1:16:38] Speaker 2: I'm sorry, what is the raggedy ass him?
[1:16:41] Speaker 3: Or heard bo?
[1:16:43] Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I guess just sounds like mental illness. He said,
[1:16:48] Speaker 1: A girl has never spent a dime on him. I
[1:16:50] Speaker 1: also told him I have a full week work trip

[1:17:09] Speaker 1: secret recipe for the Krabby Patty, and here I am
[1:17:11] Speaker 1: trying to understand these niggas, and I feel every time.
[1:17:14] Speaker 5: Is this an analogy or is this because I'm something
[1:17:19] Speaker 5: is telling me. You really meant that he really wants
[1:17:21] Speaker 5: to figure out, like an actual recipe.
[1:17:24] Speaker 2: For a cartoon.
[1:17:25] Speaker 5: This is a woman, crabby, I mean, but she's talking
[1:17:27] Speaker 5: about a man, right, Yeah, So I'm saying something is
[1:17:31] Speaker 5: telling me she means literally, he's trying to figure out
[1:17:34] Speaker 5: the Krabby Patty recipe.
[1:17:36] Speaker 1: And she's trying to figure out the crowd. She said,
[1:17:38] Speaker 1: I'm trying to figure out and understand these niggas like
[1:17:41] Speaker 1: the kind of pat recipe. Okay, I respect the fact
[1:17:43] Speaker 1: that he took what I said into consideration and let
[1:17:45] Speaker 1: me go instead of driving me. But it doesn't hurt
[1:17:48] Speaker 1: any less. We would laugh during sex, have deep conversations,
[1:17:51] Speaker 1: and was always a perfect He was always a perfect

[1:20:28] Speaker 5: please keep me anonymous. We will because y'all gonna be
[1:20:31] Speaker 5: mad later and we're not gonna edit it out. I
[1:20:34] Speaker 5: am on the younger side of your following and I'm married.
[1:20:36] Speaker 5: Oh you want to cherup that in.
[1:20:38] Speaker 3: You got your husband young and we're old bitties just waiting. Okay,
[1:20:44] Speaker 3: we see you.
[1:20:46] Speaker 5: My husband and I have known each other since you
[1:20:48] Speaker 5: were in nineteen and got married this year at the
[1:20:51] Speaker 5: age of twenty six.
[1:20:52] Speaker 3: Oh, you're so young titties. Not sagging, no stretch marks,
[1:20:57] Speaker 3: No debt collectors have actually come to collect the debts
[1:21:01] Speaker 3: that she thought she wrote off with them, damn credit
[1:21:04] Speaker 3: repair people.
[1:21:05] Speaker 2: Let me digress.
[1:21:07] Speaker 3: Since we have had on and off sex for so
[1:21:10] Speaker 3: many years, it feels like our sex life can become
[1:21:13] Speaker 3: routine at times, only that little bit of time. Hmm.
[1:21:19] Speaker 5: Okay, we both know for effect, we haven't tried everything
[1:21:25] Speaker 5: out there, and there's some things out there that neither
[1:21:29] Speaker 5: of us are ready for. I believe you right now
[1:21:32] Speaker 5: on just the cocktail, came up with the right idea
[1:21:35] Speaker 5: to put those expensive ass airpot maxes to use. While
[1:21:39] Speaker 5: my husband was taking his shower, I s at the
[1:21:40] Speaker 5: ambiance to the room by lighting candles and running the
[1:21:44] Speaker 5: oil diffuser with lavender ad mint. I found an addie
[1:21:48] Speaker 5: on YouTube of crashing waves and made short press skip
[1:21:52] Speaker 5: on all those annoying ass ads. Once my husband was
[1:21:56] Speaker 5: out of the shower, I started kissing him and rubbing
[1:21:59] Speaker 5: in his low sh all over his body so he
[1:22:01] Speaker 5: could relax even more. ID have laid down on the
[1:22:04] Speaker 5: bed and put on his sad phones. With the noise
[1:22:07] Speaker 5: cancelation turned on. I could tell he couldn't hear me
[1:22:10] Speaker 5: because he was allowed as hell, saying.
[1:22:12] Speaker 3: Dahn, oh my god, this feels so good.
[1:22:17] Speaker 5: Right when I could tell he was finna come, I
[1:22:20] Speaker 5: switched the noise cancelation to transparency. Now he could hear
[1:22:24] Speaker 5: the waves crashing on the beach and me slurping it
[1:22:27] Speaker 5: spitting off his dick. So there's my first cocktail. And hopefully,
[1:22:31] Speaker 5: if you ladies haven't already tried putting these expensive electronics
[1:22:35] Speaker 5: to use in other ways, here's an idea. Well, I
[1:22:40] Speaker 5: haven't tried the noise cancelation on the air pods and
[1:22:44] Speaker 5: then turning it off.
[1:22:46] Speaker 3: That's not a bad idea, sister. I might try that.
[1:22:49] Speaker 2: I'll report back later.
[1:22:51] Speaker 1: Have you. I've done headphone sex, but it wasn't with AirPods.
[1:22:54] Speaker 1: It was with a different len all the way around
[1:22:56] Speaker 1: your ears headphones. It was amazing, but also into waves.
[1:23:00] Speaker 2: It was music. But great idea.
[1:23:04] Speaker 1: You're not.
[1:23:05] Speaker 3: I'm not mad, as I'm true to Actually.
[1:23:09] Speaker 2: Like a little bit of Costa Rican hot spots.
