[0:02] Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Check one two, check one too.
[0:04] Speaker 2: Is this Mike On?
[0:05] Speaker 1: Is this Mike On?
[0:06] Speaker 3: Hey listen man, it's the one and only Trenks that
[0:08] Speaker 3: of DJ System and you're listening to cocktails Dirty Discussions
[0:12] Speaker 3: with Kikia Medina Monroe.
[0:14] Speaker 1: Heyah, today's cocktail is called here So Close to Cuba.
[0:23] Speaker 1: You guys, my mom got me a Golden Girl's cookbook
[0:26] Speaker 1: and I've been running through it. They have tons of
[0:28] Speaker 1: cocktail recipes, mytail recipes, and cheesecake recipes. So if you're
[0:31] Speaker 1: a Golden Girls fan like me, you'll love it. This
[0:33] Speaker 1: is really just basically a mohedo, but I did forget
[0:36] Speaker 1: some things, so we're remixing it like I like to do.
[0:39] Speaker 1: So what you're gonna need to make this cocktail is
[0:42] Speaker 1: I get about sixteen fresh mint leaves, make sure you
[0:46] Speaker 1: clean them off, tear them from the stems. Then you're
[0:48] Speaker 1: also going to need two sugar cubes, or if you
[0:52] Speaker 1: can get some really finely ground white sugar, you'll need
[0:56] Speaker 1: four teaspoons of that. You'll take one lime and cut
[0:59] Speaker 1: it into eight wedges, three ounces of a good quality
[1:04] Speaker 1: white rum, and then you'll need club soda or sparkling
[1:08] Speaker 1: water to finish it off, and don't forget your muddler
[1:10] Speaker 1: like me, because I'm gonna use something else instead. So
[1:14] Speaker 1: what you're gonna do, and this recipe will make two drinks,
[1:17] Speaker 1: one for you and one for a gentleman.
[1:19] Speaker 3: Collar.
[1:20] Speaker 1: You're going to take a glass or the shager that
[1:23] Speaker 1: I'm going to use right now, because our glasses are plastic,
[1:27] Speaker 1: and we're going to put half of the mint leaves
[1:29] Speaker 1: in there because we're about to muddle. We're going to
[1:33] Speaker 1: add in the sugar cubes, so we'll put two in here. Okay,
[1:40] Speaker 1: so we need two of those, and then we're gonna
[1:43] Speaker 1: take two lime wedges and drop it in here as well.
[1:50] Speaker 1: Now you would want to have an actual muddler, but
[1:54] Speaker 1: I don't, So I'm going to use the back of
[1:56] Speaker 1: this ice pig and we're gonna make it do what
[1:58] Speaker 1: it do. So you're just gonna want to make make
[2:00] Speaker 1: sure that you crush everything up inside of here. You
[2:03] Speaker 1: want the sugar to start to dissolve, the mint leaves
[2:07] Speaker 1: to be in little pieces, and to kind of juice
[2:10] Speaker 1: that line. All of it's gonna work together to bring
[2:13] Speaker 1: out that nice fresh smell of mint leaves, the sweetness
[2:17] Speaker 1: of the sugar and the little tang from the line. Yes,
[2:24] Speaker 1: definitely be easier with a real muddler, But that's okay.
[2:33] Speaker 1: Who y'all think decided to do this a real bar attender?
[2:39] Speaker 1: All right, we're making some progress, making some progress. It
[2:43] Speaker 1: smells so good.
[2:45] Speaker 2: All right, that's good enough.
[2:48] Speaker 1: Now what you're going to do is make sure that
[2:52] Speaker 1: your sugar is dissolved. You don't want to have cubes
[2:55] Speaker 1: floating around. I'm not waiting forever, so you might see
[2:57] Speaker 1: a cube. You're going to take a glass, ideally a
[3:00] Speaker 1: tall glass, but I'm gonna use this one, and then
[3:02] Speaker 1: we're going to stir in half the rum and then
[3:05] Speaker 1: fill it up with ice. So we'll do one and
[3:09] Speaker 1: a half ounces of rum for one. But if you
[3:11] Speaker 1: got somebody coming over, remember you'll need three. Yes, put
[3:17] Speaker 1: some ice in here. Now we are going to If
[3:28] Speaker 1: you were doing this right and not in plastic, this
[3:29] Speaker 1: would already be in the glass with the limes and
[3:32] Speaker 1: the mint leaves and the sugar and everything. But you
[3:34] Speaker 1: already be already established. Do as I say and not
[3:38] Speaker 1: as I'm doing. I'm gonna give this a good mix.
[3:46] Speaker 1: So I saw in the book it says that if
[3:48] Speaker 1: you have one of these spoons in your bar khet.
[3:52] Speaker 1: It twirls like this because you're supposed to do like this.
[3:57] Speaker 1: It will work in a glass and without jewelry on,
[4:00] Speaker 1: but that's what you're supposed to do, and it's supposed
[4:01] Speaker 1: to make it easier and not cause a mess. I'm
[4:04] Speaker 1: not doing such a great example whatever. Okay, So we're
[4:09] Speaker 1: done with that, and then we're gonna top it off
[4:11] Speaker 1: with some sparkling water. I'm doing the strawberry hibiscuits because
[4:15] Speaker 1: again I'm addicted to it. Put that on top, and
[4:19] Speaker 1: now we've got to hear so close to Cuba. Welcome
[4:22] Speaker 1: back to Cocktails, you guys. I'm Kiki said so, and
[4:26] Speaker 1: I am Medina Monroe.
[4:28] Speaker 2: Hey, y'all, that's another week with just us.
[4:31] Speaker 1: Don't you love it?
[4:32] Speaker 2: I really love the episodes where it's just us.
[4:35] Speaker 1: I like it a lot of times too.
[4:37] Speaker 3: I like it, but sometimes there are moments where I'm like,
[4:40] Speaker 3: I don't be thinking that people are gonna like it,
[4:42] Speaker 3: because sometimes we just be rambling and I'm like, someone
[4:44] Speaker 3: is gonna fast forward this shit and be like, what
[4:46] Speaker 3: the fuck are y'all talking about? Because it can go
[4:48] Speaker 3: from like we're just the whole time talking about a
[4:50] Speaker 3: family reunion, or the whole time talking about ribs.
[4:54] Speaker 1: Ne y'all, do y'all know Medina's did me up on
[4:58] Speaker 1: our ribs date? She texts me at eight.
[5:00] Speaker 2: That is not a stand up, as you don't show
[5:02] Speaker 2: up and still have.
[5:04] Speaker 1: Not eaten the ribs? Is the point of my stories.
[5:09] Speaker 3: Canceled real estate is really kicking my ASKI key, like
[5:12] Speaker 3: things just be popping up and then I'm like planning
[5:15] Speaker 3: around traffic, planning around people, planning around just everything, and
[5:20] Speaker 3: it'd be changing up my It just be changing up
[5:22] Speaker 3: everything all the time. And it's a blessing, thank you,
[5:25] Speaker 3: but it's I'm not I didn't just stand you.
[5:27] Speaker 1: I know you didn't. I just had to say something
[5:29] Speaker 1: about it because.
[5:30] Speaker 2: We still.
[5:32] Speaker 1: Because you did, I did you know I was gonna
[5:35] Speaker 1: wait on you When I tell y'all, I love Fox Brothers.
[5:39] Speaker 1: I love I eat the same thing I get every time,
[5:42] Speaker 1: so this is my order. My cocktail order changes, but
[5:47] Speaker 1: I always get for an ass alcohol.
[5:50] Speaker 2: Yes, it's like a.
[5:51] Speaker 1: Full restaurant and you don't have to eat like rib. Well,
[5:55] Speaker 1: if you go with me, you do have to taste
[5:57] Speaker 1: a rib, but you don't have to get like a
[5:58] Speaker 1: rib plate. But they have a stuff. They even have salads.
[6:01] Speaker 1: I don't know why you go to Fox Brothers and
[6:02] Speaker 1: get a salad, but they have a regular salad. You
[6:05] Speaker 1: need some barbecue on there. Anyway, I get the half
[6:09] Speaker 1: and half, so it's an order of fried jalapeno slices
[6:14] Speaker 1: like the pickled holopinnos they f iy and fried pickles.
[6:17] Speaker 1: And then for my meal, I get the combo plate,
[6:21] Speaker 1: and so it's ribs and brisket. I like to do
[6:25] Speaker 1: half and half of my brisket too. Can y'all tell
[6:27] Speaker 1: I'm very indecisive to hire. No, it's indecisive because I
[6:33] Speaker 1: mean with the I say that about the brisket, because
[6:36] Speaker 1: you could get a lean cut or you could get
[6:38] Speaker 1: the fatty cut, but I like to get half in half.
[6:41] Speaker 1: I don't eat all of this at once. I always
[6:43] Speaker 1: take some to go, but I just want to nibble
[6:45] Speaker 1: of everything. And then I get the Freedo piefor side,
[6:48] Speaker 1: and collared greens. I don't do dessert, and usually I
[6:52] Speaker 1: do a cocktail. I don't think I had a cocktail
[6:56] Speaker 1: this day, or no, I had an espresso martini.
[6:59] Speaker 2: It was like d're in their brunt.
[7:04] Speaker 1: What a place are you picturing.
[7:06] Speaker 3: I'm picturing like a like a like a long all
[7:10] Speaker 3: the tables are long with tin tops, like the tin tops,
[7:14] Speaker 3: and it's like hay on the floor.
[7:17] Speaker 1: Oh heavens no, not like a farm spots.
[7:21] Speaker 2: And it's like almost like.
[7:23] Speaker 1: You're picturing like a true hole in the wall or
[7:25] Speaker 1: like barbecue shit.
[7:26] Speaker 2: Like maybe they would have a beer. I didn't know.
[7:28] Speaker 2: They have like cocktail full bar wow.
[7:32] Speaker 1: And they do like a what is it the Hatch
[7:35] Speaker 1: Chili festival. They do that at the work or they
[7:37] Speaker 1: did it at the works. It used to be somewhere else,
[7:39] Speaker 1: I think, but they did it at the works. It
[7:41] Speaker 1: was around it was my birthday weekend actually because we
[7:44] Speaker 1: were gonna go when my dad and my sister were
[7:46] Speaker 1: in town. But yeah, it's it's a little bigger than that.
[7:49] Speaker 2: I have no idea what hatch chili is. However, I
[7:53] Speaker 2: went to Chopped Pepper.
[7:55] Speaker 3: Okay, I went to Chopped and they have a whole
[7:57] Speaker 3: hatch chili like menu, and I was like, I got
[8:00] Speaker 3: a hatch.
[8:00] Speaker 2: Chili chicken caesar salad. It was so good.
[8:03] Speaker 3: It was like a little spicy caesar salad situation. I said,
[8:06] Speaker 3: it's good I love a.
[8:07] Speaker 2: Little chopped.
[8:10] Speaker 1: But yeah, so I had that.
[8:12] Speaker 3: So now we just get to do it again. We
[8:13] Speaker 3: get to replant it and eat ribs on another day.
[8:16] Speaker 3: I'm nervous, like I'm just first of all, we was
[8:19] Speaker 3: gonna be tired in the middle of the day eating it.
[8:22] Speaker 1: No, you don't have to eat your whole plate, Modinna.
[8:25] Speaker 1: You just needed to try a bite of a rib.
[8:28] Speaker 1: I was gonna let you have one of mine. I
[8:30] Speaker 1: knew you was gonna order no plate of ribs.
[8:32] Speaker 3: Yeah, we still can. We still gotta do it. Something
[8:34] Speaker 3: came up and it wasn't supposed to come up, and
[8:36] Speaker 3: it did come up.
[8:36] Speaker 2: But anyways, Kiki, how you vanwaged you've been up to.
[8:39] Speaker 1: I have been doing well. I've just been working, working, working.
[8:43] Speaker 1: I feel like I've been running on fumes, y'all. I
[8:46] Speaker 1: think I'm pretty sure I shared that I've been on
[8:49] Speaker 1: my walking path working out. Butting your head, well, I
[8:52] Speaker 1: don't think I shared that I bust my head. That's
[8:54] Speaker 1: what I about to say.
[8:55] Speaker 3: I told you that I did when I was re
[8:57] Speaker 3: listening to the episode that came out a few weeks ago.
[8:58] Speaker 3: You definitely said it. So I was like, you've done
[9:00] Speaker 3: it twice. At this point you said you try to
[9:02] Speaker 3: put it.
[9:02] Speaker 1: At the try to because I was at somebody else's place.
[9:05] Speaker 1: Now this one, I spilled my coffee. It almost spilled
[9:08] Speaker 1: over my all over my computer. And this was just
[9:11] Speaker 1: this week. And then it was all over the floor.
[9:15] Speaker 1: And then I had just like mopped my floors the
[9:18] Speaker 1: day before, so they were still pretty slick. I was slipping.
[9:21] Speaker 1: I mean, it was just bad. My poor dog was
[9:22] Speaker 1: just looking at me like, are you okay? It was rough?
[9:26] Speaker 1: And then I what else is coming up? My trip
[9:30] Speaker 1: is coming up?
[9:31] Speaker 2: And then are you excited about your trip?
[9:33] Speaker 1: I am. I need to schedule a Breid appointment and
[9:38] Speaker 1: just little things like that. I'm also excited about Chicago
[9:41] Speaker 1: next month because I'll be speaking at the Podcast Evolutions
[9:43] Speaker 1: conference and I'm excited to go.
[9:46] Speaker 2: And then wait, pause, what will you be speaking about?
[9:50] Speaker 1: I'm speaking about my My session is on taking your
[9:54] Speaker 1: show from being a podcast and turning it into a
[9:58] Speaker 1: live experience and all that goes into that. And I
[10:05] Speaker 1: haven't worked out all of the details and I don't
[10:08] Speaker 1: want to go too deep into that, but it's a
[10:11] Speaker 1: thirty minute session. All of the sessions are thirty minutes
[10:14] Speaker 1: and I'll just be kind of talking through that. There's
[10:16] Speaker 1: a lot of people who are going who have been
[10:19] Speaker 1: in the podcast industry for a long time, and then
[10:21] Speaker 1: there's some newbies. So I want to mix up the
[10:23] Speaker 1: information that I share, Like, no matter how large your
[10:27] Speaker 1: show might be, there's a lot of things to consider,
[10:30] Speaker 1: and I think that sometimes people underestimate the amount of
[10:35] Speaker 1: work that goes into it, or they get scared and
[10:38] Speaker 1: never do it because maybe it's way they think it's
[10:42] Speaker 1: way more So, I just want to kind of share
[10:43] Speaker 1: that in some things that I've learned along the way
[10:47] Speaker 1: in my own experience, and then just talking to other people,
[10:50] Speaker 1: helping other people and seeing other live events come to fruition,
[10:55] Speaker 1: like things that I've done with the radio and stuff
[10:56] Speaker 1: like that. There's something, Oh, my family's come in and visit,
[11:02] Speaker 1: so all three of my nieces are gonna come out.
[11:05] Speaker 1: I'm really excited. They haven't been to the place that
[11:08] Speaker 1: I live now. And then my youngest niece, every time
[11:11] Speaker 1: I see her, she's like trying to pack a bag
[11:14] Speaker 1: and come back with me, and she's like, I want
[11:15] Speaker 1: to go to your house. I want to go to
[11:17] Speaker 1: your house, But I'm my girl I live all the
[11:19] Speaker 1: way in Atlanta and you live in Texas. You cannot
[11:21] Speaker 1: just come with me. I'm not just right up the street.
[11:23] Speaker 1: So I'm excited to see them and my mom and
[11:26] Speaker 1: then that's all I can think of right now.
[11:29] Speaker 2: Are they staying with you when they come?
[11:33] Speaker 1: There's five people. That's too many. No, no, no, but
[11:38] Speaker 1: you know I will be seeing them hanging out and
[11:40] Speaker 1: having a good time. They're going to come for President's
[11:42] Speaker 1: Stay weekend. I wanted to go out of town, but
[11:47] Speaker 1: that just didn't quite work out. I got the time, yeah,
[11:52] Speaker 1: the all the time.
[11:53] Speaker 2: Yeah, what have you been up to? Working? Working?
[12:02] Speaker 3: You guys know, I got my real estate license and
[12:04] Speaker 3: I have been working, and like now I'm in the
[12:06] Speaker 3: momentum of it and like keeping the momentum, and so
[12:09] Speaker 3: I'm working with a few new clients and really.
[12:11] Speaker 2: Excited about it.
[12:13] Speaker 3: Also, I have been really pouring into getting to know
[12:20] Speaker 3: people that I said I wanted to get to know
[12:23] Speaker 3: but never did. Like, like you meet them, yeah, and
[12:26] Speaker 3: they like you just and it's not like a it's
[12:28] Speaker 3: not like a personal thing. It's just like you don't
[12:30] Speaker 3: altimes you really connect with people, and you just life
[12:33] Speaker 3: just happens and you might even forget what you saved
[12:35] Speaker 3: them as in the phone, you know what I mean,
[12:37] Speaker 3: You're just like I don't even know even if I
[12:38] Speaker 3: wanted to connect, I can't remember what was going on.
[12:40] Speaker 3: So a friend of mine who goes to my church,
[12:44] Speaker 3: she is so cool. Her name is Amanda, and she
[12:47] Speaker 3: randomly invited me to a uh she didn't even say
[12:52] Speaker 3: what it was for. Really, it was just like, come
[12:54] Speaker 3: to this tasting experience, and I was like, I'm trying
[12:56] Speaker 3: to say yes. More so I was like, all right,
[12:57] Speaker 3: I'm gonna go. Like the flyer was really cute that
[12:59] Speaker 3: it was like a private experience and at her place.
[13:02] Speaker 3: So I went and it was a very like small
[13:05] Speaker 3: group of people and it was really fun because when
[13:08] Speaker 3: everybody walked in the door, like one by once, she
[13:10] Speaker 3: gave everybody these grand introductions.
[13:13] Speaker 1: It was.
[13:14] Speaker 3: Yeah, but it was just it was so cool and
[13:17] Speaker 3: so like, I met a lot of people. I met
[13:19] Speaker 3: a professional golfer who was a black woman, and it
[13:24] Speaker 3: was just like everybody had a different title we had,
[13:26] Speaker 3: and we tasted different olive oils from her friend who
[13:29] Speaker 3: created it. Who don't she didn't create this olive oil,
[13:31] Speaker 3: but she has this olive oil from Rome and she
[13:33] Speaker 3: lives in Rome.
[13:34] Speaker 2: And it was just we whant to say you.
[13:36] Speaker 3: I had such a good random time. We had wine,
[13:39] Speaker 3: We ate a lot of cheese. I really like cheese.
[13:40] Speaker 3: I can tell you that I really love cheese. I
[13:44] Speaker 3: really just loved cheese.
[13:45] Speaker 1: I'm a favorite type of cheese.
[13:47] Speaker 2: I love Gouda.
[13:48] Speaker 3: I really love goat and I like that goat that
[13:51] Speaker 3: has the Merleau on top. You know which one I'm
[13:54] Speaker 3: talking about, and it's I love goat cheese.
[13:56] Speaker 2: Oh, I love go cheese. I love blue cheese. It's
[13:58] Speaker 2: not a cheese I don't like.
[13:59] Speaker 3: I don't really like parme really yeah, I don't really
[14:02] Speaker 3: like parmesan cheese, but all the other cheeses, if it's
[14:04] Speaker 3: the cheese, I probably like it. So I've been, you know,
[14:08] Speaker 3: connecting with people. I started poll lessons. I'm really trying
[14:11] Speaker 3: to get my body in a type of shape that
[14:16] Speaker 3: I haven't really seen it before, and really just for
[14:18] Speaker 3: health reasons. It's funny because I started working with a
[14:21] Speaker 3: trainer at I think the gym is called Fanah. I
[14:23] Speaker 3: don't know the name of it. Fino Fino Finoe. Like
[14:27] Speaker 3: one of my girlfriends. One day well, first of all,
[14:30] Speaker 3: I was at her house one night and we were
[14:33] Speaker 3: talking about a podcast that she wants to start. She
[14:35] Speaker 3: was like, I want you to help me. I said, okay,
[14:37] Speaker 3: well what are we doing? Like you just said, it's
[14:38] Speaker 3: a lot of work, like consistency. What are you trying
[14:41] Speaker 3: to do? So we meet her and the girl that
[14:42] Speaker 3: she wants to do it with. We were talking and
[14:44] Speaker 3: we ended up talking about working out because they met.
[14:46] Speaker 3: Like how did y'all meet? She said, we met working
[14:47] Speaker 3: out at the gym. So we're talking about the gym.
[14:49] Speaker 3: She's been going to the gym for like a year
[14:51] Speaker 3: a year straight, and she's like, come work out with
[14:53] Speaker 3: us on Monday. I was like, bitch, I haven't worked
[14:55] Speaker 3: out in a very long like a I'm active, but
[14:58] Speaker 3: like going to the gym intentionally, it has been a
[15:01] Speaker 3: very long time since I've done that consistent consistently. There
[15:05] Speaker 3: was a time when I was doing it very consistently,
[15:07] Speaker 3: like going to and I hate it's even when I
[15:09] Speaker 3: was doing it. Then, I don't like going to the
[15:11] Speaker 3: gym and working out. And it's not because I don't
[15:13] Speaker 3: like working I don't like how the gym be feeling.
[15:15] Speaker 3: So I was like, y'all, I'm gonna come. And I
[15:16] Speaker 3: was really happy to everybody. Yet I was like I'm going,
[15:18] Speaker 3: I'm going. And then Monday came and I sat my
[15:22] Speaker 3: alarm and I was like, I'm not going. And I
[15:24] Speaker 3: laid in the bed. It was six forty five and
[15:26] Speaker 3: I was like, I'm really not going to go. And
[15:27] Speaker 3: I was like, well, let me see how far the
[15:29] Speaker 3: gym is. And I saw how far the gym was
[15:30] Speaker 3: and I was like, okay, okay, okay, I'm really not going.
[15:34] Speaker 3: So then so then my girlfriend Chandelle, she calls me
[15:37] Speaker 3: and she's like, hey, why do you so You're still
[15:38] Speaker 3: in the bed. I was like, I'm in the bed.
[15:40] Speaker 3: I'm in the bed. She's like, what are you doing?
[15:41] Speaker 3: I was like talking to God. And she was like, well,
[15:43] Speaker 3: you need to stop and you need to come to
[15:45] Speaker 3: the gym. And I was like, I'm not coming to
[15:46] Speaker 3: the gym. Anyways, she made me feel like I needed
[15:48] Speaker 3: to go to the gym, so I went to the gym.
[15:49] Speaker 3: I was like, she was like, why are you not
[15:50] Speaker 3: going to come? I was like, I just feel really embarrassed.
[15:52] Speaker 3: I'm really out of shape, my knee is bad. I
[15:54] Speaker 3: don't want to be in there with all the BBL
[15:56] Speaker 3: girls and I'm looking crazy and everybody's doing their workouts
[15:58] Speaker 3: and I'm over here struggling and shit, and I don't
[16:00] Speaker 3: have no Q gym clothes.
[16:01] Speaker 2: And she was like, get the fuck up and come on.
[16:03] Speaker 3: So I got the fuck up and I went and
[16:05] Speaker 3: she was like, just come work out on me and
[16:06] Speaker 3: my trainer in the small group. So I went and Kiki,
[16:10] Speaker 3: I worked out. After I worked out, the guy was
[16:12] Speaker 3: talking to me about like the memories and stuff. I
[16:13] Speaker 3: ended up signing up for a membership and I now
[16:15] Speaker 3: I have a trainer and I'm training three days a week.
[16:17] Speaker 3: He asked me what were my goals? And this is
[16:19] Speaker 3: the first time in my life I ever have said
[16:21] Speaker 3: this to a trainer. He was looking at me great
[16:22] Speaker 3: that Nigga was looking at me like. He was like,
[16:25] Speaker 3: he was like, what are your goals? I was like,
[16:27] Speaker 3: I don't have any goals, and he was like, what
[16:30] Speaker 3: are your goals? Well, when you're gonna come here every
[16:33] Speaker 3: week with me, I was like, well, my goals are
[16:35] Speaker 3: just really mental and he was like, well, what do
[16:38] Speaker 3: you mean.
[16:39] Speaker 2: I was like, I don't think you understand. Name was Verne.
[16:41] Speaker 2: I was like, I don't think you understand.
[16:43] Speaker 3: Vern like I have got. This is why I hate
[16:45] Speaker 3: the gym because I got to work at my pace.
[16:47] Speaker 3: Like me showing up. That was the first battle, first
[16:52] Speaker 3: of all. Me showing up, that was the that was
[16:55] Speaker 3: the first I was not gonna come. I was in
[16:57] Speaker 3: the bay of rolled up back in the covers, like
[16:58] Speaker 3: I really didn't have to start my day till one
[17:00] Speaker 3: and it is seven am.
[17:01] Speaker 2: So that is just Michael. My goal is to just
[17:03] Speaker 2: show up.
[17:04] Speaker 3: When I start having like I want to work on
[17:07] Speaker 3: a certain thing, it just makes me feel stressed. So
[17:13] Speaker 3: it's so as long as I keep coming and showing up,
[17:16] Speaker 3: please just let me have that goal.
[17:17] Speaker 2: He was like, no, you need to have a goal.
[17:18] Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, okay, So I'm thinking about
[17:20] Speaker 2: what my body is going to be. Anyways.
[17:22] Speaker 3: I also started these different series at a I don't know, I.
[17:27] Speaker 2: Guess it would be called a spa.
[17:28] Speaker 3: It's called Slim Face Body Studio, and they do these treatments.
[17:32] Speaker 2: They're called M sculpt. Have you ever heard of M sculpt?
[17:34] Speaker 2: So it's like a body sculpting.
[17:35] Speaker 3: Thing, okay, and they put you up to they hook
[17:39] Speaker 3: you up to this technology and it basically strengthens your core.
[17:43] Speaker 3: You can pick which body part you want them to
[17:45] Speaker 3: work on. I chose my abdomen and it doesn't necessarily
[17:49] Speaker 3: make you lose weight, but it strengthens your core. I
[17:51] Speaker 3: have a very hard time doing push ups, and I
[17:53] Speaker 3: have a really hard time doing planks, anything that has
[17:55] Speaker 3: to do with my car. I just have a really
[17:56] Speaker 3: hard time. So I'm trying it out. It's four series.
[17:59] Speaker 3: I'll tell y'all how it works. Today was my first one.
[18:01] Speaker 3: And they hook you up to this machine. They put
[18:04] Speaker 3: it on your on your stomach or whatever you're gonna do,
[18:06] Speaker 3: and your whole body just like it's like you're doing
[18:09] Speaker 3: a plank, but you're not doing a plank, but your
[18:11] Speaker 3: body is like is contracting. It was.
[18:13] Speaker 2: It's really cool.
[18:14] Speaker 1: So yeah, you find out about that.
[18:19] Speaker 3: The place that I went to get my face balancing,
[18:22] Speaker 3: they offer it and I started reading up about it,
[18:24] Speaker 3: and when I started training, I said, m I'm having
[18:26] Speaker 3: a hard time on my core.
[18:28] Speaker 1: Let me get some extra help.
[18:29] Speaker 2: Let me get you a little extra help and see
[18:31] Speaker 2: if this actually works. Like I'm like, okay, y'a.
[18:33] Speaker 3: Also pray for me, Pray that I continue going to
[18:37] Speaker 3: this trainer, and uh, and working out because it is.
[18:42] Speaker 3: I'm sitting here right now sore. I only have shoes
[18:44] Speaker 3: on because of my feet hurt.
[18:46] Speaker 1: Do you go see him at a certain time of
[18:48] Speaker 1: day or just certain number of days in a week.
[18:50] Speaker 3: So I'm also working on being a five am girl.
[18:53] Speaker 3: So I'm going three days a week, and two days
[18:57] Speaker 3: out of those three days I go at eight am,
[19:00] Speaker 3: and then one day I go at seven am.
[19:02] Speaker 1: Okay, that's not too too bad.
[19:03] Speaker 2: It's not too too bad. He has a six am.
[19:05] Speaker 2: I was like, I am not ready for that yet.
[19:07] Speaker 2: Let me let me get let me get into the.
[19:10] Speaker 1: Top so much earlier if you're going to be at
[19:14] Speaker 1: the six am class, not like you wake up and
[19:17] Speaker 1: you roll out and he's right, right.
[19:20] Speaker 2: Yeah.
[19:21] Speaker 3: My mom's coming to visit this weekend for her birthday,
[19:23] Speaker 3: and I'm really excited about that. I'm taking her to
[19:25] Speaker 3: get both talk. She doesn't know. It's a surprise. She's
[19:27] Speaker 3: never done it before.
[19:28] Speaker 1: Does she want to?
[19:29] Speaker 2: She definitely always.
[19:30] Speaker 3: Once she saw me do my face, she was like,
[19:32] Speaker 3: I want to just try it. I was like, we're
[19:33] Speaker 3: gonna try it just a little bit. I'm taking her
[19:35] Speaker 3: to get her hair done. She's gonna have a whole
[19:37] Speaker 3: beauty experience.
[19:38] Speaker 1: Okay, sometimes mom birthday.
[19:40] Speaker 3: Yeah, you know how like the youth, we have a
[19:43] Speaker 3: different standard for getting your makeup done.
[19:46] Speaker 2: There's just like beauty stuff.
[19:48] Speaker 3: And sometimes I realized, like, at least my mom, she
[19:50] Speaker 3: doesn't she hasn't experienced a lot of those things. I
[19:53] Speaker 3: was the first person to take her to get her
[19:55] Speaker 3: makeup professionally done, like a while ago, but just stuff
[19:58] Speaker 3: like that, she's not going to spend money on it,
[19:59] Speaker 3: and like, you want a gift or do you want
[20:01] Speaker 3: an experience?
[20:02] Speaker 2: And I want an experience? Yeah, so that'll be fun,
[20:06] Speaker 2: that'll be nice.
[20:06] Speaker 1: My mom is always so impatient with stuff like that.
[20:09] Speaker 1: Like she she likes getting her hair done, she likes
[20:12] Speaker 1: doing the things, but she does not want to sit still.
[20:15] Speaker 1: And I'm like, what is this about? Where are you
[20:18] Speaker 1: in a rush to go? I don't know. It's almost
[20:21] Speaker 1: like she thinks if she's not in constant motion, she'll
[20:24] Speaker 1: just fall out or something. I don't know, but I
[20:26] Speaker 1: do wish that she would take some time and slow down.
[20:29] Speaker 1: I know it won't be happening next weekend when she
[20:30] Speaker 1: gets here, but you know whatever, I'll be happy to
[20:33] Speaker 1: see her. Gonna go eat, take the nieces out to
[20:36] Speaker 1: do some things and figure out some stuff. Well, on
[20:39] Speaker 1: that note, we're gonna move on to weird sex.
[20:44] Speaker 2: You said a man is not a necessity.
[20:47] Speaker 1: A man is a luxury like dessert. Yeah, a man
[20:51] Speaker 1: is absolutely not necessity.
[20:53] Speaker 2: Did you mean that to sound meaning better?
[20:57] Speaker 1: Oh not at all. I adore dessert. I love man.
[21:01] Speaker 1: I think men are the coolest, but you don't really
[21:03] Speaker 1: need them to live. And this week, you guys, weird
[21:10] Speaker 1: sex is actually not very weird, and it's being brought
[21:13] Speaker 1: to you by Masterclass. So if you're not familiar with Masterclass,
[21:19] Speaker 1: Masterclass is this amazing platform with so many different sessions
[21:27] Speaker 1: you might be interested in exploring more about pleasure, sex, positions,
[21:34] Speaker 1: sex tips, some confidence boosters, that sort of thing. A
[21:37] Speaker 1: few years ago, you guys, we had a very wonderful
[21:41] Speaker 1: guest Shamboo Drum when we were out in La Beautiful
[21:44] Speaker 1: episode beautiful shock, beautiful person. Yes, so intelligent, Yeah she is,
[21:50] Speaker 1: and so she is. She has a class a session
[21:55] Speaker 1: on Masterclass and it's the Art of Pleasure. It's two
[21:59] Speaker 1: parts and exploring so many different things. If you, guys

[22:18] Speaker 1: some new things to try, I think for the next
[22:21] Speaker 1: few weeks, I'll I'll do that for we sex find
[22:24] Speaker 1: some new pleasure seeking things. And as I moved through
[22:29] Speaker 1: the sessions, the two part sessions, I will be sharing
[22:33] Speaker 1: my learnings. Maybe I can even show you a few
[22:36] Speaker 1: positions if it's not too crazy, because I would like
[22:40] Speaker 1: something new, and the older I get, I find myself
[22:42] Speaker 1: doing the same old, same old. Like when we were
[22:45] Speaker 1: on Patreon and uh we did Patreon game Night at
[22:49] Speaker 1: the end of last month and we were talking about
[22:52] Speaker 1: favorite sex positions.
[22:54] Speaker 2: It's just a missionary.
[22:55] Speaker 1: Yeah, that is one of my favorites.
[22:57] Speaker 2: I remember that being said.
[22:59] Speaker 1: Yeah, missionary, I just roll a little missionary.
[23:02] Speaker 2: But shan gonna teach you on magic class.
[23:04] Speaker 3: She's gonna teach you some other lessons that can maybe
[23:06] Speaker 3: spice up a little missionary.
[23:08] Speaker 2: But I also like this.
[23:08] Speaker 3: Some of the lessons that she's teaching about the art
[23:10] Speaker 3: of sex have to do with like it'll make you confident,
[23:13] Speaker 3: just the whole confidence of sex.
[23:15] Speaker 1: So yeah, sometimes we don't want to initiate, or you just.
[23:19] Speaker 2: You're scared to try something like, oh, there's so much
[23:22] Speaker 2: you can be.
[23:22] Speaker 1: Really timid, so that's good. And sometimes I'd be wanting
[23:26] Speaker 1: to give like a sexy face, and I don't feel
[23:28] Speaker 1: like I do. I haven't gotten through my lessons, so
[23:33] Speaker 1: still don't have it. But how did I mean a few.
[23:36] Speaker 3: Weeks, I can't really move my face, so I'm gonna
[23:39] Speaker 3: have to learn the body language.
[23:44] Speaker 1: Okay. Anyway, if you guys are curious about trying, and
[23:47] Speaker 1: make sure you click the link in the description box below,
[23:52] Speaker 1: and we even have a special little promo for you.
[23:55] Speaker 1: I love when I'm having real life situations happen and
[23:59] Speaker 1: I get to talk about some of our sponsors and
[24:02] Speaker 1: brand partners and stuff. So it's funny. Today I was
[24:04] Speaker 1: literally in a meeting and we were going over some
[24:07] Speaker 1: production things, and I was talking to a producer and
[24:09] Speaker 1: she was telling me about another show that she was
[24:11] Speaker 1: working on, and she's doing a dating show. One of
[24:14] Speaker 1: the guys on the show was describing what he wants
[24:17] Speaker 1: and he didn't have the language to use to really
[24:21] Speaker 1: describe it. But what we figured out or what she
[24:23] Speaker 1: figured out was that he's actually Polly and she was
[24:27] Speaker 1: asking him, Hey, have you ever used the Field app?
[24:29] Speaker 1: And I was like, oh my god, we work with
[24:32] Speaker 1: Field and we were talking about it and she's like, yeah,
[24:34] Speaker 1: I put him onto the Field app. He lives in
[24:38] Speaker 1: a city where it's popular, but he travels other places.
[24:40] Speaker 1: And I know that as people continue to learn about
[24:44] Speaker 1: the Field app, there's going to be more and more people.
[24:46] Speaker 1: There's so many people out there who don't know that
[24:48] Speaker 1: there's like a name for how they see relationships, or
[24:51] Speaker 1: maybe a name for their sexuality, or even if you
[24:54] Speaker 1: don't care about names, you can share your interests. The
[24:56] Speaker 1: Field app is where it's at. You can find other people,
[24:59] Speaker 1: you can learn more things, and you can realize that
[25:02] Speaker 1: maybe you're not so alone in what you want, and
[25:04] Speaker 1: then you can get to get to it meet your people.
[25:07] Speaker 2: Fine.
[25:08] Speaker 1: The Internet makes things so much easier, and Field is
[25:12] Speaker 1: like such an open community to do that, and I
[25:15] Speaker 1: love it and it's really open.
[25:16] Speaker 3: I really appreciate how the Field app has an environment
[25:20] Speaker 3: or a community of people who really believe in honesty
[25:24] Speaker 3: and openness. So the things that you like are the
[25:27] Speaker 3: things that you might be interested in. Listen you're meeting
[25:30] Speaker 3: people that are open to conversation about that. They're being
[25:33] Speaker 3: honest about like what they want to try. But it's
[25:35] Speaker 3: not just about sex and dating. You might make a friend,
[25:38] Speaker 3: it's open to friendships. I also like how it's not
[25:40] Speaker 3: just mindless swiping. If you swipe past somebody and you're like, dang,
[25:44] Speaker 3: I was wiping too quickly, you can go back. It's
[25:47] Speaker 3: like I'm just like, yeah it yeah, here you go back,
[25:50] Speaker 3: And it's just like it's just a.
[25:52] Speaker 2: Really great community.
[25:53] Speaker 3: And I really do feel like twenty twenty five this
[25:55] Speaker 3: year for me has personally been about all different types
[25:58] Speaker 3: of communities, Like community is so important community for all
[26:01] Speaker 3: the different types of categories in your life, and Field
[26:04] Speaker 3: is an amazing opportunity for that.
[26:06] Speaker 1: It is. So if you would like to check out Field,
[26:09] Speaker 1: we really hope that you do. You can head on
[26:11] Speaker 1: over to the the App Store or the Google Play
[26:14] Speaker 1: Store and just download the Field app. Field is f
[26:18] Speaker 1: E E L D. Download the Field app and me
[26:22] Speaker 1: show people. All Right, you guys, So this week we
[26:26] Speaker 1: were going to we were supposed to do it another
[26:30] Speaker 1: time didn't work out, but we're here today. So Madina
[26:33] Speaker 1: and I were talking one day and we were talking
[26:35] Speaker 1: about how we use AI for so much stuff and
[26:39] Speaker 1: just like everybody is, and I saw something like on
[26:44] Speaker 1: TikTok or Instagram, and this girl she constantly tells chat
[26:50] Speaker 1: gpt what's going on in her life right, and talks
[26:54] Speaker 1: to her chat gpt about all of the different men
[26:57] Speaker 1: her dating life and all this stuff. So she was
[27:00] Speaker 1: asking chat gpt like where she should go to find
[27:03] Speaker 1: a certain type of guy and all this stuff, and
[27:05] Speaker 1: the answers that we're given were really good. So I
[27:09] Speaker 1: figured we could.
[27:10] Speaker 3: Try out, and I want to. I've never used AI
[27:16] Speaker 3: for something like that, so I thought even doing this
[27:18] Speaker 3: and putting this episode together, this was hilarious because I
[27:21] Speaker 3: personally have never been like, can you show me where
[27:24] Speaker 3: to find the guys? It's a great idea, though I
[27:27] Speaker 3: just never thought about that.
[27:29] Speaker 2: I was like, how would she know? She knows kind
[27:33] Speaker 2: of so much.
[27:35] Speaker 1: So we're going to tell you guys what we're gonna ask,
[27:40] Speaker 1: and then we'll share the response, and y'all just drop
[27:43] Speaker 1: us a comment or something and let us know if
[27:46] Speaker 1: you thought that was a good response or what you
[27:48] Speaker 1: gotta say about.
[27:49] Speaker 3: It, or if you use this response, because some of
[27:52] Speaker 3: them I was like, okay, girl, okay, so I'll go first. Okay,
[27:57] Speaker 3: I asked my chat GPT I have. She doesn't have
[27:58] Speaker 3: a name. I said, I want to ask my boyfriend
[28:03] Speaker 3: why he wants me to pay for things when.
[28:06] Speaker 2: He is the man.
[28:07] Speaker 3: Can you tell me how to ask him in a
[28:10] Speaker 3: respectful way?
[28:11] Speaker 2: That's what I asked her.
[28:12] Speaker 1: Okay, she said, Hey, are you already typed a man?
[28:16] Speaker 2: Yeah?
[28:17] Speaker 1: Oh okay, Well I was going to give a well
[28:20] Speaker 1: I wanted her to build off of the things, but
[28:22] Speaker 1: go ahead.
[28:22] Speaker 3: Oh yeah, mine built, baby. I was like, I didn't
[28:24] Speaker 3: know if the WiFi was gonna be working and if
[28:27] Speaker 3: we was gonna have access to it, so yeah, Minor
[28:29] Speaker 3: already responded to so. So my AI said, Hey, boyfriend's name?
[28:37] Speaker 3: What should we I guess we can name boyfriend Aaron. Hey, Aaron,
[28:41] Speaker 3: I've been thinking about something and I wanted to share
[28:44] Speaker 3: my thoughts and hear your perspective. I really value the
[28:48] Speaker 3: dynamic we have and the way we support each other.
[28:51] Speaker 3: But I've noticed that you asked You've asked me to
[28:54] Speaker 3: contribute financially in ways that feel different from what I've
[28:57] Speaker 3: experienced before.
[28:59] Speaker 2: Not she experiences before.
[29:01] Speaker 3: Can you help me understand your reasoning behind that. I
[29:05] Speaker 3: love to have an open conversation about how we view
[29:08] Speaker 3: roles and responsibilities in our relationship. That we're on the
[29:12] Speaker 3: same page moving So we're on the same page moving forward.
[29:15] Speaker 3: And she said, this approach opens the door to honest
[29:18] Speaker 3: communication while showing your willing to understand his perspective without
[29:22] Speaker 3: being confrontational.
[29:24] Speaker 2: That was a very grown up way to have that.
[29:26] Speaker 1: That was a very worthy way to have that. I
[29:28] Speaker 1: probably wouldn't say it.
[29:30] Speaker 2: What would you say?
[29:31] Speaker 1: I don't know, but I probably would have asked my
[29:34] Speaker 1: thing to make it less worthy, because whenever I was
[29:36] Speaker 1: creating the scenarios and prompts I did type in. Somebody
[29:40] Speaker 1: was like, girl, I don't want to say all these words.
[29:43] Speaker 1: You need to get to the point. I'm not sending
[29:44] Speaker 1: an email, I'm having a conversation.
[29:48] Speaker 2: Would you say that I would say some of this?
[29:51] Speaker 3: I definitely, yeah, I definitely would say some of this,
[29:53] Speaker 3: not this whole paragraph.
[29:54] Speaker 2: But I like she made it respect.
[29:57] Speaker 3: Was right, like it was like you if you really
[30:00] Speaker 3: he did like regurgitate this, shorten it to somebody, they
[30:03] Speaker 3: wouldn't feel attacked, And this isn't attacking. This is really
[30:08] Speaker 3: just like, bro, I'm making sure were on the same page.
[30:12] Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, So here's my situation. So it's this was
[30:19] Speaker 1: the prompt or the situation that I want to give
[30:21] Speaker 1: you before I tell you the question that I'm going
[30:23] Speaker 1: to ask. So okay, So imagine you've been hinting at
[30:26] Speaker 1: Valentine's Day plans for weeks and weeks and weeks, right,
[30:29] Speaker 1: and then he keeps saying, don't worry, I got it covered.
[30:32] Speaker 1: And it's February thirteen and he don't have it covered.
[30:35] Speaker 1: And the only reservation he's made is on your last nerve, right.
[30:40] Speaker 1: So the question that I'm asking is how do I
[30:44] Speaker 1: politely tell him that spontaneous romance isn't romantic when you're
[30:49] Speaker 1: waiting an hour for a table at Applebee's on Valentine's
[30:52] Speaker 1: Daycause that's not where I want to be, right, And
[30:54] Speaker 1: if you wait until the last minute, it is very
[30:56] Speaker 1: unlikely for you to get a good reservation. You'll be waiting, waiting, waiting.
[31:00] Speaker 1: So she says, first, she gave me a long response,
[31:03] Speaker 1: and I said, you know, can you make it more
[31:04] Speaker 1: conversational and shorter? She says, I love that you want
[31:08] Speaker 1: to handle Valentine's Day but waiting an hour for a
[31:11] Speaker 1: table in my good heels isn't giving gromance next time?
[31:14] Speaker 1: Can we plan ahead just a little? Yeah, I would
[31:17] Speaker 1: say that. I would probably copy it. Would you still
[31:18] Speaker 1: grow to Applebee's or just out whatever? The not to Applebee's,
[31:23] Speaker 1: but is somewhere else? Yes, I would still go. I'm
[31:26] Speaker 1: still gonna want to eat as long as it's food.
[31:28] Speaker 1: I'm still ready to go. But I will feel like,
[31:31] Speaker 1: why didn't you make a plan in advance? A plan
[31:34] Speaker 1: is not the day of.
[31:35] Speaker 2: You know, it's not hard. It's not hard.
[31:39] Speaker 1: There's an app for that.
[31:42] Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I asked Ai another question.
[31:45] Speaker 3: I said, I want to ask my boyfriend to take
[31:48] Speaker 3: me on vacation, but I'm scared, and I don't want
[31:53] Speaker 3: him to know I'm scared to ask, I want to
[31:55] Speaker 3: sound confident.
[31:56] Speaker 2: Can you help me sound like the grown woman?
[32:01] Speaker 3: Well said like that, and she said, here's a confident
[32:06] Speaker 3: and grown woman way to ask. I've been thinking about
[32:10] Speaker 3: how much we both deserve a break and some quality
[32:13] Speaker 3: time together.
[32:13] Speaker 2: How about we plan a vacation.
[32:16] Speaker 3: I'd love for us to get away, relax and make
[32:18] Speaker 3: some amazing memories.
[32:20] Speaker 2: What do you think? I thought that was I actually would.
[32:24] Speaker 3: It's perfect because it starts the conversation and then you
[32:28] Speaker 3: can figure out and then and then the details will
[32:30] Speaker 3: obviously the conversation.
[32:33] Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, that was that was a good response. Thumbs up.
[32:37] Speaker 1: She says, we.
[32:40] Speaker 2: Need a break, baby, Where are we going?
[32:44] Speaker 1: Okay? So this next one. So here's the scenario. You've
[32:47] Speaker 1: been vibing with this man you care about, and while
[32:51] Speaker 1: you don't really care about titles, you find yourself low
[32:54] Speaker 1: key stressing anytime somebody asks, so what are y'all? Instead
[32:59] Speaker 1: of just brushing it off, you started awkwardly rambling and
[33:02] Speaker 1: over explaining you're single but not single status to people
[33:06] Speaker 1: who didn't even need all that information. So the question is,
[33:12] Speaker 1: how do I stop over explaining my situationship, relationship, whatever
[33:16] Speaker 1: it is to people without sounding like I'm trying to
[33:18] Speaker 1: convince myself that I'm fine with it. I name my
[33:22] Speaker 1: chat GPT. Her name is CEC, so CEC says, keep
[33:26] Speaker 1: it simple and confident. Next time somebody asks, just say
[33:29] Speaker 1: we're enjoying each other and seeing where it goes if
[33:32] Speaker 1: they press hit them with a smile, and it works
[33:34] Speaker 1: for us and that's what matters. No need to over
[33:37] Speaker 1: explain less in wonder, So just like me, I'll be
[33:40] Speaker 1: talking to her a lot.
[33:42] Speaker 2: Yeah, while she's really taking on you.
[33:45] Speaker 1: I need her to think like me so she can
[33:47] Speaker 1: write these messages like me. It's helpful.
[33:51] Speaker 3: Okay, Well, we got different types of questions. Here's my third one.
[33:55] Speaker 3: I'm gonna let my boyfriend know that I need help
[33:57] Speaker 3: paying my mortgage this month, but I don't want to
[34:00] Speaker 3: sound broke. Could you help me come up with an
[34:03] Speaker 3: appropriate way to ask and get a yes to the answer.
[34:07] Speaker 2: Key, that's a key part, she said.
[34:10] Speaker 1: I need to get that yes.
[34:11] Speaker 3: You need to get that yes, like, don't make this
[34:13] Speaker 3: an option. Y'all gonna thank me for this, She said.
[34:17] Speaker 3: I wanted to talk to you about something I've been navigating. Oh, sorry,
[34:21] Speaker 3: I've wanted to I want to talk to you about
[34:23] Speaker 3: something I've been navigating this month. When people use the
[34:26] Speaker 3: word navigating, you just sound like you know more. Things
[34:30] Speaker 3: are a bit tighter than usual with my finances, and
[34:34] Speaker 3: i'd really appreciate your help covering part of my mortgage
[34:38] Speaker 3: this month. I always strive to handle things on my own,
[34:42] Speaker 3: but this time I could use your support and it
[34:45] Speaker 3: would mean so much to me. Let me know how
[34:48] Speaker 3: you feel about that. She really does a good job
[34:51] Speaker 3: of making sure she's not just like I deserve this,
[34:54] Speaker 3: you not paying no bit like.
[34:55] Speaker 2: She's like she's letting it.
[34:56] Speaker 3: She knows how to stroke the man's ego almost this wild.
[35:01] Speaker 1: These little things, these tools are very very good, especially
[35:08] Speaker 1: the more you use them, tweak them all that. Yeah,
[35:12] Speaker 1: I don't be using it for life advice, but this
[35:14] Speaker 1: is kind of fun. Okay, So this one, it's scenario.
[35:19] Speaker 1: Your friend suspects her man is cheating, so naturally she
[35:24] Speaker 1: calls you. I E me for backup, Right, that is
[35:27] Speaker 1: what really happens. I'm on board, but when I start investigating,
[35:31] Speaker 1: I find out Oh wait a minute, I type this wrong. Well, anyway,
[35:37] Speaker 1: your friend suspects her man is cheating, so naturally she
[35:40] Speaker 1: calls you for backup. You're on board, but when you
[35:42] Speaker 1: start investigating, you find out your man might also be
[35:44] Speaker 1: at the same place her man is creepy. So my
[35:46] Speaker 1: question that I'm asking my girl CC aka chat GPT,
[35:50] Speaker 1: how do I help my friend catch her man and
[35:52] Speaker 1: figure out if mine is guilty too without setting the
[35:54] Speaker 1: whole situation on fire? Or do I just bring the
[35:57] Speaker 1: matches and let it burn. Now, I just want to
[35:58] Speaker 1: say this. When I was an coming up with these questions,
[36:02] Speaker 1: she was on a roll because I was like, can
[36:04] Speaker 1: you give me some different scenarios, And so I typed
[36:07] Speaker 1: some up and sent them and I didn't I don't
[36:10] Speaker 1: remember reading that. She said I was gonna bring matches,
[36:12] Speaker 1: but you know that was probably my mood for the day. Anyway,
[36:15] Speaker 1: CC says, you need strategy, not chaos, at least at first.
[36:20] Speaker 1: Tell your friend girl, let's focus on your situation first.
[36:24] Speaker 1: But if my man happens to be in the mix,
[36:26] Speaker 1: I'm taking notes too. No need to set it on
[36:28] Speaker 1: fire yet. Gather re seedts calmly. Oh, she's given instruction.
[36:32] Speaker 1: This isn't what you say gathering. Well, she said to
[36:35] Speaker 1: say that, but then it says gather receets, calmly, observe
[36:38] Speaker 1: and if both men are guilty, then you can decide
[36:41] Speaker 1: if it's time for a double feature. Waiting to exhale.
[36:43] Speaker 1: This is my friend right here. My chat GBT is
[36:47] Speaker 1: black because why was she reference waiting to exhale? I
[36:49] Speaker 1: love that for me.
[36:51] Speaker 2: Okay, this girl, what?
[36:54] Speaker 1: But yes, good job.
[36:56] Speaker 2: Okay. My next question to her was, this is also
[37:00] Speaker 2: about cheating.
[37:01] Speaker 1: Okay, oh, look at that look at that.
[37:04] Speaker 3: I want to ask my boyfriend if he is cheating
[37:06] Speaker 3: on me, and I know he is because I went
[37:10] Speaker 3: through his phone OOO, but I don't want him to know.
[37:12] Speaker 2: I went through his phone. She says.
[37:16] Speaker 3: Well, she said, this is a delicate situation, and it
[37:19] Speaker 3: calmly and thoughtfully will help you maintain control of the conversation.
[37:24] Speaker 2: She said, you this is what she should say.
[37:26] Speaker 3: I've been feeling like there's been some distance between us lately,
[37:30] Speaker 3: and I wanted to check in.
[37:32] Speaker 2: Is there anything going on that we need to talk about.
[37:35] Speaker 3: I value honesty in our relationship, and if there's something
[37:39] Speaker 3: I should know, I'd rather hear it from you directly.
[37:45] Speaker 2: She is she's a grown up, and she is a
[37:49] Speaker 2: grown up.
[37:49] Speaker 3: She doesn't plan on smacking nobody, ruining someone's belongings.
[37:54] Speaker 2: Like She's like, this is how we get to this.
[38:00] Speaker 1: Would you use that?
[38:02] Speaker 2: Would use a piece of this?
[38:03] Speaker 1: A piece?
[38:04] Speaker 2: Just a piece, just a piece.
[38:07] Speaker 1: Yeah, that's like something on a TV show or movie
[38:11] Speaker 1: or something. But in real life, I think it would
[38:14] Speaker 1: be hard to stay that calm.
[38:15] Speaker 2: But I do think that last line, the.
[38:20] Speaker 3: I would rather hear it from you directly, that's always
[38:23] Speaker 3: good to use because then that lets the person know
[38:25] Speaker 3: I already know, I already know what the fuck is
[38:28] Speaker 3: going on.
[38:29] Speaker 2: But I would like to hear it from.
[38:31] Speaker 1: You, And then their wheels are going to be spending
[38:32] Speaker 1: like would you go to my stuff or did somebody
[38:35] Speaker 1: tell you? Did you see something? Like how much do
[38:37] Speaker 1: you really know? Or are you bluffing?
[38:40] Speaker 2: Right?
[38:40] Speaker 1: You just never know, but if you're guilty, you're always
[38:43] Speaker 1: gonna feel guilty because you know you've been up to
[38:45] Speaker 1: know good. And then she's watching the bees the sweat
[38:48] Speaker 1: roll down your face, so you're cut. Yeah, okay, this
[38:51] Speaker 1: one says, okay, So this guy that that you're seeing,
[38:59] Speaker 1: he casually mentioned that his child's mom invited him to
[39:02] Speaker 1: dinner to co parent better. You're trying to stay cool,
[39:07] Speaker 1: but your imagination is running wild. So the question that
[39:12] Speaker 1: I'm asking CC is this is not me, But if
[39:15] Speaker 1: it was, how do I let him know I'm totally
[39:17] Speaker 1: fine with their dinner, but also make it clear I've
[39:21] Speaker 1: already googled mapped the restaurant and know what time he left,
[39:23] Speaker 1: So like, don't be up to no funny business. So
[39:27] Speaker 1: CEC says you can try something playful but direct, saying
[39:32] Speaker 1: I love that y'all are working on co parenting and
[39:34] Speaker 1: I totally support it. Just know that while you're at dinner,
[39:36] Speaker 1: I'll definitely not be casually checking the restaurant's Google reviews
[39:39] Speaker 1: or noting what time you left. Nope. Not mean Yeah,
[39:41] Speaker 1: that's a little too crazy for me. I wouldn't be
[39:43] Speaker 1: doing all that. Wait, what was she saying? She was saying,
[39:46] Speaker 1: this is what she's saying that I should say. I
[39:49] Speaker 1: love that y'all are working on co parenting and I
[39:51] Speaker 1: totally support it. Just know that while you're at dinner,
[39:55] Speaker 1: I'll definitely not be casually checking the restaurant's Google reviews
[39:58] Speaker 1: or noting what time you left. Nope, not me, Like,
[40:01] Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be internet stalking you.
[40:03] Speaker 3: Basically, Yeah, she messed up on that you're not going
[40:08] Speaker 3: or I'm coming with you.
[40:09] Speaker 2: I'm so confused, but well I wouldn't want to go.
[40:13] Speaker 2: I'm gonna go.
[40:14] Speaker 3: Like if we're if this is like this is like
[40:16] Speaker 3: a blended fam Are we married?
[40:17] Speaker 1: Like, well, we're not married. This is somebody that I
[40:21] Speaker 1: think I said that I'm dating. It's not a husband.
[40:24] Speaker 2: I'm not sure why.
[40:24] Speaker 1: You need to go to dinner, but that's yeah, I
[40:28] Speaker 1: would wonder like why do y'all need to go to dinner?
[40:30] Speaker 1: Are y'all all going with the kid or like what?
[40:33] Speaker 1: I don't know, like that would be weird to me.
[40:36] Speaker 3: Let me tell you something that a friend of mine
[40:39] Speaker 3: told and I've never heard.
[40:40] Speaker 2: It put like this.
[40:41] Speaker 3: A friend of mine who has a child but a
[40:43] Speaker 3: man was like, just don't do it. She was like,
[40:46] Speaker 3: I literally just stopped having sex with my baby daddy
[40:48] Speaker 3: three years ago.
[40:50] Speaker 2: This man has had the relationships and she was like, yeah, he's.
[40:53] Speaker 3: Always gonna he's all when we don't have people to
[40:55] Speaker 3: have sex, like the baby mama or the baby daddy
[40:58] Speaker 3: is always going to have access. And I was just
[41:00] Speaker 3: and they look at this one. I don't day I
[41:01] Speaker 3: think it's with kids, because that is absolutely wild. And
[41:02] Speaker 3: she was like, yeah, nobody will know because it's like
[41:04] Speaker 3: we need to talk about the kids.
[41:07] Speaker 1: A lot of people say that have you lost your mind?
[41:10] Speaker 2: No, so no dinner or we're just done. Okay, this
[41:13] Speaker 2: is my last question.
[41:15] Speaker 3: I want to ask my boyfriend if he sees himself
[41:18] Speaker 3: marrying me. Could you help me come up with a
[41:20] Speaker 3: way to ask without sounding insecure? She said, here's a
[41:25] Speaker 3: confident and mature way to ask. I've been thinking a
[41:28] Speaker 3: lot about our relationship and how much I value what
[41:30] Speaker 3: we're building together. I'm curious. I'm curious enough do you
[41:34] Speaker 3: see us heading towards marriage in the future. I want
[41:37] Speaker 3: to make sure we're on the same page about where
[41:39] Speaker 3: we're going and what we both envision for our lives together.
[41:44] Speaker 2: Okay, somebody gonna be crying. That's a rough.
[41:49] Speaker 3: Conversation if you got to bring it to that. Yeah, Like,
[41:55] Speaker 3: that's a rough one. That's a rough one because I
[41:57] Speaker 3: don't want that to be how a proposal is born.
[42:00] Speaker 1: Yeah, I think, Yeah, it's tough to to bring up. Oh, well,
[42:08] Speaker 1: what are you thinking about this long term? Do you
[42:10] Speaker 1: see me as your wife and all of this? Because
[42:13] Speaker 1: you know, you would hope that the other person would
[42:15] Speaker 1: have told you already. You're not having a pride out.
[42:19] Speaker 3: You would hope, you would hope, But I, hey, I communication.
[42:24] Speaker 1: Nothing wrong with trying to figure things out if you
[42:26] Speaker 1: are unclear, because some people do think that they can
[42:30] Speaker 1: just show you or they think that certain things mean
[42:34] Speaker 1: this to you, and they may not, and it's just
[42:37] Speaker 1: best to be clear. I wonder, I wonder how that
[42:39] Speaker 1: would go.
[42:40] Speaker 2: Mmm, Okay, that was my last one.
[42:42] Speaker 1: Okay, this is my last one, it says, So here's
[42:47] Speaker 1: the situation the guy. This one's kind of like a
[42:50] Speaker 1: proposal one too. That's funny how that worked out. So
[42:53] Speaker 1: it says he's been acting mysterious, so you start to
[42:58] Speaker 1: think that he's planning a proposal, and then he surprises
[43:02] Speaker 1: you with a trip to an exotic location, and so
[43:06] Speaker 1: you know you're getting even more excited. But it's just
[43:09] Speaker 1: for his friend's birthday. So what ended up happening was
[43:13] Speaker 1: the friend's fiance was not okay with the fiance going
[43:17] Speaker 1: on just a guy's trip for his birthday, so she
[43:21] Speaker 1: made him turn it into a couple's trip. And that's
[43:25] Speaker 1: how it became a surprise to you, because really you
[43:27] Speaker 1: was the last minute invite because it was supposed to
[43:29] Speaker 1: be all boys and his fiance vetoed that. So the
[43:34] Speaker 1: question and then you were thinking he was about to
[43:35] Speaker 1: get proposed. You can probably called your family and your friends.
[43:38] Speaker 1: Lord Okay, So the question to AI is how do
[43:42] Speaker 1: I tell him I'm offended that he let me think
[43:45] Speaker 1: this was a romantic surprise only to find out it's
[43:48] Speaker 1: basically a tag along trip for his friend's birthday. And
[43:51] Speaker 1: also where's my proposal energy? Now I would ask the
[43:56] Speaker 1: first part, I would not be asking about the proposal.
[43:58] Speaker 1: But this is CC's response. She says, hit him with
[44:02] Speaker 1: and that's literally what she wrote, hit him with, hit
[44:05] Speaker 1: him with. I appreciate the trip, but let's be real,
[44:07] Speaker 1: I thought this was a romantic surprise you plan for us,
[44:10] Speaker 1: not a plus one situation for your friend's birthday. I'm
[44:13] Speaker 1: happy to go, but next time, let's not blur the
[44:16] Speaker 1: lines between special for us and group trip with benefits. Also,
[44:20] Speaker 1: if you ever do plan a surprise just for me,
[44:22] Speaker 1: make sure it gives proposal energy, not party guests. Keep
[44:25] Speaker 1: it honest, direct, and lets him know you expect more intentionality.
[44:31] Speaker 1: But he proposing, she just thought he was because of
[44:35] Speaker 1: all the stuff leading up. It's just a fake scenario. Yeah,
[44:40] Speaker 1: she just thought that. So if I was in this situation,
[44:43] Speaker 1: I would not add in that last part about the proposal.
[44:46] Speaker 1: But yeah, don't let me think that you're planning a
[44:48] Speaker 1: romantic trip for us, and really it's for your homeboy's
[44:52] Speaker 1: birthday and you wanted to have somebody there with you
[44:55] Speaker 1: too because all the boys have to bring a girl
[44:58] Speaker 1: because the fiance was gonna be okay with then she's
[45:01] Speaker 1: gonna be there too.
[45:03] Speaker 2: That's wow. All right, well you guys.
[45:06] Speaker 3: Before we move on to Indecisive Diane, I want to
[45:08] Speaker 3: remind everybody go to Paradise and Vibe dot Com come
[45:11] Speaker 3: with us to Sedona, Arizona August twenty fourth through the
[45:14] Speaker 3: twenty seventh.
[45:16] Speaker 2: The theme was Enchantment.
[45:17] Speaker 3: But now since we finally booked an amazing guess, I
[45:23] Speaker 3: can't tell you yet, but Kiki, I can't wait to
[45:25] Speaker 3: tell you who this is. Now the theme is the
[45:29] Speaker 3: magic of big Thinking. So I would love for you
[45:32] Speaker 3: guys to join me in Sedona, Arizona. Normally we're international
[45:34] Speaker 3: with it, and normally we have several trips a year,
[45:37] Speaker 3: but this year we only have one and it is stateside.
[45:40] Speaker 3: So go to Paradise and Vibe dot Com and tell
[45:42] Speaker 3: them I sent you.
[45:44] Speaker 1: Well, that's exciting. I wonder who it is.
[45:48] Speaker 3: I love a little travel, I love a little travel situation.
[45:51] Speaker 3: Even if nobody special is ever coming, I'm still going
[45:53] Speaker 3: to travel. I'm going to Spain too. I can't wait
[45:54] Speaker 3: to go to Spain and just being attendee like it's
[45:57] Speaker 3: not work, It's like I just get to go.
[45:58] Speaker 1: What are you going to Spain June. That's exciting.
[46:01] Speaker 3: What part Barcelona? Okay, Barcelona, I'm very excited. I'm going
[46:05] Speaker 3: with the self care treat. We had Shanisha Boswell on
[46:07] Speaker 3: that's her retreat, and I was like, Frian, I'm coming
[46:09] Speaker 3: to support you. So if y'all can't come to have
[46:12] Speaker 3: you by the time this comes out, as your trip
[46:14] Speaker 3: already happened.
[46:15] Speaker 1: No, my trip is not until March. Okay, one comes
[46:17] Speaker 1: out the week after Valentine's Day.
[46:19] Speaker 2: So we'll have a selection of places to go this year.
[46:25] Speaker 1: All right, Well, I guess we can move on to
[46:27] Speaker 1: Indecisive Diane, and when we come back, it'll be time
[46:30] Speaker 1: for the advice. All right, you guys and Medina, I
[46:33] Speaker 1: want to tell you about something. So you know, we
[46:35] Speaker 1: were talking about me getting my groove back, and something
[46:38] Speaker 1: that I never really felt super confident in is being
[46:43] Speaker 1: really sexy. And that's something that I really want to
[46:47] Speaker 1: work on, just like feeling like I'm not trying too hard.
[46:50] Speaker 1: I'm already clumsy. It's just I don't know. It's a lot,
[46:52] Speaker 1: and I'm in my head about it, and so it
[46:54] Speaker 1: can be kind of awkward talking to people about it
[46:57] Speaker 1: because it's kind of like either you got it or
[46:59] Speaker 1: you don't, or people don't really know how to coach
[47:01] Speaker 1: you through that sort of thing. And then guess what
[47:05] Speaker 1: I found out? Tell us our good syst Shamboo Drum
[47:09] Speaker 1: has a class on Masterclass right now, and it's the
[47:14] Speaker 1: Art of Pleasure and it teaches so many different things
[47:18] Speaker 1: about it. It's a two part thing.
[47:19] Speaker 3: I'm excited about it when I tell you, I am
[47:23] Speaker 3: excited about it also, Kiki. First of all, if y'all
[47:26] Speaker 3: don't know, Shan is referred to the internet's most famous sexologist.

[47:45] Speaker 3: right exactly, So.
[47:47] Speaker 1: Shan and this session with Masterclass is really really informative,
[47:54] Speaker 1: but it's not too like stuffy. So it's a two
[47:57] Speaker 1: part thing and we're gonna learnlearn about different sex tips, positions, confidence,
[48:04] Speaker 1: so many different things. And if you're not familiar with

[48:44] Speaker 2: And did you say ten dollars a month.
[48:46] Speaker 1: Yeah, it's ten dollars a month, but it's built annually,

[48:51] Speaker 1: it again. You're good for the year.

[49:17] Speaker 1: And now we'll get back to the show.
[49:21] Speaker 2: Would you stop thiguring about what everyone wants? Stop thinking
[49:24] Speaker 2: about what I want? What do you want?
[49:25] Speaker 1: What your parents want?
[49:27] Speaker 2: What do you want. What do you want? It's not
[49:30] Speaker 2: a SI what do you want? What do you want?
[49:39] Speaker 4: Hey, ladies, it's me Diane and this week's date idea
[49:45] Speaker 4: is perfect for the girls or if you have a
[49:48] Speaker 4: daughter and you want to have a mommy and mean date.

[49:54] Speaker 4: t bus potty? Oh my god, it looks incredibly fun.

[51:03] Speaker 1: or you can get it in the Google play Store.
[51:07] Speaker 3: Okay, so first up, we have my man read my
[51:10] Speaker 3: journal and now he hurt.
[51:12] Speaker 2: Hey, ladies.
[51:14] Speaker 3: Of course I have to start by saying I love
[51:15] Speaker 3: the show I watch from my smart TV. So it
[51:18] Speaker 3: don't be easy to comment, but I do thumbs up
[51:22] Speaker 3: and I like it from my remote and none of
[51:25] Speaker 3: that let me get to it.
[51:26] Speaker 2: So I am a thirty.
[51:28] Speaker 3: Four year old female who has been in this on
[51:30] Speaker 3: and off eleven year relationship with this thirty four year
[51:35] Speaker 3: old man. Do not eat me up, I know, but
[51:38] Speaker 3: this guy has me in this grip. In his grip
[51:40] Speaker 3: and other men seem to hate me, he just seems
[51:43] Speaker 3: to hate me a little less. Anyhow, we decided to
[51:48] Speaker 3: get back on he and be determined to make things
[51:52] Speaker 3: work after a six month breakup.
[51:55] Speaker 2: I initiate, oh after says with a breakup.
[51:56] Speaker 3: I initiated because I want marriage and he wants to
[51:59] Speaker 3: do everything but.
[52:00] Speaker 2: That you need to ask JGBT howdy okay.
[52:04] Speaker 3: During this rekindling, things have been relatively smooth. We have
[52:09] Speaker 3: been talking about family planning, buying a house, and even marriage. However,
[52:15] Speaker 3: he has been acting insecure i e. Nitpicking, over analyzing,
[52:19] Speaker 3: constantly bringing up areas where I need to improve, and
[52:22] Speaker 3: doesn't want me to go out. And as a good
[52:24] Speaker 3: long term girlfriend, I have been constantly trying to reassure him,
[52:28] Speaker 3: making conscious efforts to ensure he feels supported and his needs.
[52:31] Speaker 2: Are met or being met.
[52:34] Speaker 3: I admit it is exhausting, but I'm working with my man.
[52:38] Speaker 3: But I'm working with my man. Recently, a week before Christmas,
[52:41] Speaker 3: he confesses that he had read my journal. He says,
[52:45] Speaker 3: by accident, but come on now and okay, and stumbled
[52:50] Speaker 3: on a page where I wrote about our first breakup
[52:52] Speaker 3: and how I felt like I truly didn't love him
[52:54] Speaker 3: because I was dealing with a breakup from a prior relationship.
[52:57] Speaker 3: Of course he was upset, But nigga, you read off
[53:00] Speaker 3: in journal. He then proceeds to tell me how enlightened
[53:03] Speaker 3: he was and it made me appear human. So what
[53:06] Speaker 3: the fuck did did you think I was?
[53:08] Speaker 2: Oh?
[53:09] Speaker 3: He also said there was some other cool stuff in there,
[53:11] Speaker 3: which inspired him to write things down for himself. In
[53:14] Speaker 3: my mind, I'm thinking, so you kept reading it. I
[53:17] Speaker 3: feel so violated, unsafe, and just disgusted. I ended the
[53:22] Speaker 3: conversation by asking him, so what now? He responded, I
[53:26] Speaker 3: love you. I sat on the phone quietly sobbing before
[53:29] Speaker 3: I hung up. Fast forward. I ain't hearn from him
[53:32] Speaker 3: for two weeks. Christmas passed, New Year's past, and I
[53:35] Speaker 3: ain't even get a text. It's a day after New
[53:38] Speaker 3: Year's Day, and he hasn't made any attempt to communicate
[53:40] Speaker 3: with me. I decided to give him a call because honestly,
[53:43] Speaker 3: it's time, and he was acting I'm surprised that you
[53:46] Speaker 3: did that, and he was acting very disinterested. I asked
[53:51] Speaker 3: if he was busy. He stated he was off from
[53:53] Speaker 3: work playing chess and that I should say what I
[53:56] Speaker 3: needed to say. I was very turned off by this.
[54:00] Speaker 3: It seems like he is indifferent. I told him to
[54:01] Speaker 3: give me a call when he is in better spirits.
[54:03] Speaker 3: He agreed, but I don't understand why he is acting
[54:05] Speaker 3: like this. We are we're planning a Japan trip, which
[54:09] Speaker 3: I pay for the flight, so I also presumed he
[54:12] Speaker 3: would want to resolve this, especially since this is his
[54:15] Speaker 3: dream triit. I just don't feel safe with him anymore,
[54:18] Speaker 3: and I don't know if this is something I should pursue.
[54:21] Speaker 3: So so much trust has been lost, not just from
[54:24] Speaker 3: this incident but others, and I don't know if there's
[54:28] Speaker 3: a foundation we can build on. I don't know how
[54:30] Speaker 3: to move forward or if this is going to be
[54:32] Speaker 3: a huge hurdle we must endure. Any sound advice I
[54:36] Speaker 3: asked read it, and someone told me, I should cancel
[54:38] Speaker 3: the flight. It's non refundable. By the way, I'm way
[54:41] Speaker 3: too mature to be crashing out. But after this, I
[54:44] Speaker 3: want this man in hell. Also, I didn't use shatjibt,
[54:47] Speaker 3: but I did profread it. I heard this email. I
[54:50] Speaker 3: apologize for the run ons. It's okay, girl, you was
[54:53] Speaker 3: just getting your feelings out.
[54:55] Speaker 2: That was a lot.
[54:56] Speaker 3: I don't don't you don't see I guess you're not
[54:58] Speaker 3: as mad about him. I'm going through your journal as
[55:01] Speaker 3: I initially thought you were when you were right when
[55:03] Speaker 3: you were talking about it, because you're also kind of.
[55:06] Speaker 1: Like just not a deal break.
[55:09] Speaker 2: It wasn't a.
[55:09] Speaker 3: Deal breaker, and you didn't really It didn't seem like
[55:13] Speaker 3: you brought up your thoughts around him doing that, which.
[55:21] Speaker 2: I don't do you want to. It seemed I don't really.
[55:25] Speaker 3: Know what to say, because it's that is a very
[55:28] Speaker 3: invasive thing to do. I've done it before, but it
[55:32] Speaker 3: was a very intense conversation that was had around it.
[55:36] Speaker 3: It wasn't just like you bring it up and then
[55:38] Speaker 3: we're on the phone and then nobody I don't know.
[55:40] Speaker 3: I don't know, girl. That's a lot. When you do
[55:43] Speaker 3: that's a lot that he did that. And if you
[55:44] Speaker 3: really feel a way, I think you maybe need to
[55:46] Speaker 3: let him know. But this a lot you're talking about
[55:48] Speaker 3: you basically trying to beg him back to be with you.
[55:51] Speaker 2: You maybe just need to let him go. Maybe, But
[55:53] Speaker 2: I don't know anything.
[55:54] Speaker 1: So okay, Well, I would be bothered if you were
[56:05] Speaker 1: her or him if I was her. Okay, I would
[56:09] Speaker 1: be bothered if he read my journal. I think that
[56:12] Speaker 1: it is so out of line. First of all, the
[56:17] Speaker 1: line about he read it on accident or whatever, like come,
[56:21] Speaker 1: you don't read that on accident. I could see you
[56:24] Speaker 1: looking for a notebook for a piece of paper, You
[56:27] Speaker 1: open it up, you read a line, but you don't
[56:30] Speaker 1: keep going. You're not making notes for yourself and all
[56:32] Speaker 1: of that. I don't like that. I have had situations
[56:36] Speaker 1: where somebody has gone through like my phone or messages
[56:41] Speaker 1: and things and like that' shit's not cool and you
[56:46] Speaker 1: do need to have an in depth conversation. Now, you
[56:49] Speaker 1: had a lot of things going on in here. You
[56:51] Speaker 1: didn't ask chat GPT, but I did. And let me
[56:53] Speaker 1: tell you what my girl CZ said. First of all,
[56:56] Speaker 1: she said, girl whoop, because that was a lot. She said.
[57:00] Speaker 1: First of all, Oh, she's saying this like me. First
[57:03] Speaker 1: of all, thank you for watching the show on your
[57:04] Speaker 1: smart TV and hitting that like button. We appreciate you.
[57:08] Speaker 1: She knows me, right. Okay, Now let's talk about this
[57:10] Speaker 1: man who is out here playing chess while treating your
[57:13] Speaker 1: relationship like a game of djanga, pulling out blocks of
[57:17] Speaker 1: trust and acting shocked when things feel unstable. Come on,
[57:21] Speaker 1: shat GPT.
[57:23] Speaker 2: That was a bar.
[57:25] Speaker 1: Okay, So let's start with the journal situation. You are
[57:28] Speaker 1: absolutely right to feel violated. See I said that a
[57:32] Speaker 1: journal is a safe space, a place where you process
[57:34] Speaker 1: your rawest thoughts. In him reading it by accident, girl, please,
[57:38] Speaker 1: that's her saying it, not me, then continuing to read
[57:42] Speaker 1: is a complete breach of trust. The fact that he
[57:45] Speaker 1: ghosted you for two weeks after he invaded your privacy
[57:49] Speaker 1: is actually insane. Instead of communicating like an adult, he withdrew,
[57:55] Speaker 1: which tells me that he is either punishing you for
[57:58] Speaker 1: what he read or is used this as an excuse
[58:01] Speaker 1: to create distance. Neither is a good sign. Now let's
[58:04] Speaker 1: talk about this relationship. Sis. You said it yourself. This
[58:08] Speaker 1: has been an on again, off again relationship for eleven years.
[58:11] Speaker 1: She ialicized that so she mental because it was so much.
[58:15] Speaker 1: That's why sometimes you do need to hit up cc
[58:18] Speaker 1: chet GPT. Okay, that's over a decade of push and
[58:22] Speaker 1: pull and the biggest issue. You want marriage and he
[58:25] Speaker 1: wants to do everything but that. You broke up for
[58:29] Speaker 1: six months over this exact issue, and now you're back,
[58:33] Speaker 1: still exhausted, still carrying the emotional labor, and now feeling
[58:38] Speaker 1: unsafe with him. That is not the foundation for a
[58:41] Speaker 1: lifelong commitment. It's the foundation for another breakup, but with
[58:45] Speaker 1: more baggage. So what do you do now? Now she's
[58:47] Speaker 1: gonna hit you with the bullet points. His actions are
[58:52] Speaker 1: speaking louder than his I love you, he read your journal,
[58:55] Speaker 1: disappeared for the holidays, and is now acting indifferent. That's
[58:58] Speaker 1: not love, that's avoidance. Bullet points two. You don't feel
[59:02] Speaker 1: safe with him, and your gut is rarely wrong. If
[59:05] Speaker 1: trust is already shaky and he keeps adding to the
[59:07] Speaker 1: list of reasons you can't trust him. Where is this going?
[59:10] Speaker 1: The Japan trip, girl, this is tricky. You already paid
[59:14] Speaker 1: for the flight. If it were refundable, I'd say cancel
[59:17] Speaker 1: and let him figure out his own way to his
[59:19] Speaker 1: dream trip. Since it's night, you got two choices. If
[59:22] Speaker 1: you still want to go, change the name on the
[59:23] Speaker 1: ticket if possible, and take a friend, or go solo
[59:26] Speaker 1: and live your best life. If you do decide to
[59:29] Speaker 1: still go with him, do so with clear boundaries. But
[59:32] Speaker 1: ask yourself, do you really want to spend this dream
[59:34] Speaker 1: trip with a man you don't trust? Final thoughts. You're
[59:37] Speaker 1: not too too mature to crash out, but you are
[59:40] Speaker 1: too grown to keep waiting for a man who has
[59:43] Speaker 1: shown you repeatedly that he is not stepping up. You
[59:46] Speaker 1: want marriage, commitment, and security. He wants everything, but that
[59:51] Speaker 1: the math ain't math exist if you don't feel safe,
[59:54] Speaker 1: if trust is already broken, and if you are this
[59:56] Speaker 1: exhausted before marriage, what you hold on to at this point,
[1:00:00] Speaker 1: you don't need to win him back. You need to
[1:00:03] Speaker 1: free yourself. And that's on chat GPT, So.
[1:00:07] Speaker 3: We need to start doing so, y'all don't even y
[1:00:09] Speaker 3: You can't even who you're gonna be mad at.
[1:00:12] Speaker 1: And I totally agree with everything that she said.
[1:00:16] Speaker 3: I actually do do and I really did forget about
[1:00:18] Speaker 3: that eleven years. Y'all gonna learn one day that two
[1:00:20] Speaker 3: year mark. I don't care how happy or sad you are.
[1:00:23] Speaker 3: That two year mark gonna tell you a lot. And
[1:00:25] Speaker 3: sometimes you got to walk away because but you waited
[1:00:28] Speaker 3: eleven years.
[1:00:29] Speaker 1: Eleven years is a long time.
[1:00:31] Speaker 2: Get up.
[1:00:33] Speaker 1: My niece is eleven.
[1:00:35] Speaker 2: Now, that's enough to bring a child and make it.
[1:00:39] Speaker 1: I had a phone and an attitude like that's wild personality.
[1:00:44] Speaker 1: She didnet got braces, got the braces off.
[1:00:47] Speaker 3: That's a lot of time wasted. But we're not gonna
[1:00:48] Speaker 3: tear you down. We're gonna build you.
[1:00:50] Speaker 1: These are just a reminder.
[1:00:51] Speaker 3: Yeah, continue to write in your journal, leave him alone,
[1:00:55] Speaker 3: no matter how hard or sad you might feel right now,
[1:00:58] Speaker 3: and just move on because I really was not it.
[1:01:01] Speaker 1: Like that girl saying ticket transferable maybe instead of I
[1:01:04] Speaker 1: know it's not non refundable, but sometimes you can just
[1:01:08] Speaker 1: change your name, call and make up a story. Yeah,
[1:01:11] Speaker 1: so you never know who did you get trip insurance?
[1:01:13] Speaker 2: Did you get trip insurance?
[1:01:14] Speaker 3: And then just ask you change it and make it
[1:01:15] Speaker 3: a girls shape, bring somebody else, and you know, call
[1:01:17] Speaker 3: it a day. Don't let that man decenter the man
[1:01:20] Speaker 3: from this, just decenter it.
[1:01:21] Speaker 2: He fucked up. Try to believe.
[1:01:24] Speaker 3: Don't believe the negative thoughts that you might be think, girl,
[1:01:26] Speaker 3: please move on, cause I really have you ever seen
[1:01:28] Speaker 3: that girl on Instagram where she's like, you better lead
[1:01:30] Speaker 3: a man alone.
[1:01:31] Speaker 2: For God making your baby daddy? Have you seen it
[1:01:33] Speaker 2: in it?
[1:01:34] Speaker 3: And then it is so funny because she just pops
[1:01:37] Speaker 3: up on the screen and she said, you better lead
[1:01:38] Speaker 3: that man alone before God makes him your baby daddy.
[1:01:41] Speaker 3: Do you want a baby daddy like this? You know,
[1:01:43] Speaker 3: like all the girls, I know what baby daddy's. Apparently
[1:01:45] Speaker 3: the baby daddy's ain't shit. A lot of them are
[1:01:47] Speaker 3: not sit and you gotta do everything alone. Girl, This
[1:01:52] Speaker 3: is a blessing in disguise.
[1:01:54] Speaker 1: Well, good luck says. Hopefully you can send us a
[1:01:58] Speaker 1: cocktail that maybe you made in Japan without that man
[1:02:04] Speaker 1: with somebody else you take another troupe. Anyway, that's all
[1:02:07] Speaker 1: the time we have for advice today. So if you
[1:02:09] Speaker 1: have a question to make sure you email it to
[1:02:11] Speaker 1: his advice at cocktails pod dot com. That's advice at
[1:02:14] Speaker 1: C O C K T A L E S P
[1:02:17] Speaker 1: O D dot com. And now we'll move on to
[1:02:21] Speaker 1: the cocktails.
[1:02:22] Speaker 3: Uh uh huh uh huh.
[1:02:31] Speaker 1: But if he got them on coppen it on media, thing,
[1:02:36] Speaker 1: is this some cash in the place that your around.
[1:02:41] Speaker 1: Once upon a time, not long ago, I was a pop.
[1:02:46] Speaker 1: If you have a cocktail you want to share, that
[1:02:48] Speaker 1: email is Cocktails c O C K T A L E.
[1:02:51] Speaker 1: S at cocktails pod dot com. And you know what,
[1:02:56] Speaker 1: I just thought about something. Maybe you should see if
[1:02:58] Speaker 1: you can transfer your ticket from Japan to Jamaica. You
[1:03:02] Speaker 1: could probably get a first class ticket to Jamaica for
[1:03:04] Speaker 1: whatever you paid to get all the way to the
[1:03:06] Speaker 1: other side of the world. Because I'll be in Jamaica
[1:03:08] Speaker 1: Memorial Day weekend with Worse Behavior tour and we're going
[1:03:11] Speaker 1: back to hedonism. So maybe you can come there and
[1:03:14] Speaker 1: you can definitely like release. There will be plenty of thing,
[1:03:18] Speaker 1: there will be plenty of people, there, plenty of guys if.
[1:03:22] Speaker 2: You want to release it just eating. There's also a buffet.
[1:03:26] Speaker 1: Buffet, a beach. There's all sorts of things to do.
[1:03:29] Speaker 1: And you won't see that man there because he might
[1:03:31] Speaker 1: be stuck in Japan. Oh no, he's not gonna be there.
[1:03:33] Speaker 2: She wroted the FLA.
[1:03:34] Speaker 3: And if you can't switch your flight to Jamaica and
[1:03:36] Speaker 3: you can only switch it in and put it in
[1:03:37] Speaker 3: my name, but.
[1:03:38] Speaker 2: I'll go with you to Japan. That's on my bucket lists.
[1:03:42] Speaker 2: I'll go with you.
[1:03:43] Speaker 1: Come, let us know what you decide to do. So
[1:03:45] Speaker 1: is good luck. Okay, Now for the cocktails.
[1:03:48] Speaker 2: There's only one, but you can read it since I
[1:03:50] Speaker 2: read the advice. Okay, so long. If you want me
[1:03:53] Speaker 2: to tag in at any moment, just let me know
[1:03:56] Speaker 2: I might.
[1:03:56] Speaker 1: All right, So, oh not my phone, mife. I was like, gross,
[1:04:02] Speaker 1: as long as it just shut off? Okay, t d
[1:04:06] Speaker 1: l R, what does that mean?
[1:04:07] Speaker 3: I was gonna ask you today to what does TDLR mean?
[1:04:12] Speaker 2: Y'all?
[1:04:14] Speaker 1: No, no chat you let me just go ask you
[1:04:17] Speaker 1: damn long? Too damn long to read? What does td
[1:04:23] Speaker 1: l R time? Let me just let's see what CC's uh?
[1:04:30] Speaker 1: Too long? Didn't read?
[1:04:31] Speaker 2: Oh, didn't read.
[1:04:35] Speaker 1: This shit long as fuck? So I get it if
[1:04:37] Speaker 1: y'all can't read it on the show. But I had
[1:04:39] Speaker 1: to tell somebody this story so embarrassing. It was either right,
[1:04:42] Speaker 1: y'all or take this to my grave. Hope y'all get alive. Well,
[1:04:45] Speaker 1: thank you for putting that in the beginning, because I
[1:04:47] Speaker 1: don't mind reading the long one if there's something funny
[1:04:49] Speaker 1: at the end. Okay, she says, love y'all, blah blah blah. Besties,
[1:04:54] Speaker 1: let me get into it. Also, y'all my younger little
[1:04:58] Speaker 1: sister's lool because the young ones saying y'all are older.
[1:05:02] Speaker 1: Thank you, girl, thank you. I'm thirty eight. Let me
[1:05:05] Speaker 1: tell y'all how I accidentally helped helped a man come
[1:05:09] Speaker 1: out of the closet. I met this man when he
[1:05:11] Speaker 1: was fining y'all, six ' five chocolate and just playing handsome.
[1:05:13] Speaker 1: We met online, so I'm lowkey like I'm being catfished
[1:05:16] Speaker 1: or now the first red flag, which I completely ignored because,
[1:05:20] Speaker 1: like Kiki be saying, pretty, privilege is real and sadly
[1:05:23] Speaker 1: the fine niggas be getting away with shit with me too.
[1:05:26] Speaker 1: This nigga is impoverished, damn not broke. But like he
[1:05:32] Speaker 1: invited me to his house using the word house real loosely,
[1:05:36] Speaker 1: which we both live in North Carolina. But it was
[1:05:38] Speaker 1: like three hours away. It was supposed to be a
[1:05:40] Speaker 1: weekend trip. But we'll get to what happened in the second. First,
[1:05:42] Speaker 1: let me set the scene. I'm a dog mom, so
[1:05:44] Speaker 1: I'm like, can I bring my dog? He was like yeah.
[1:05:46] Speaker 1: I was like cool. When I arrived, it was late,
[1:05:49] Speaker 1: maybe like nine ish, but even in the pitch black
[1:05:51] Speaker 1: of rural North Carolina with basically no artificial light. I
[1:05:54] Speaker 1: knew I had fucked up. Not only was it a trailer,
[1:05:57] Speaker 1: but the yard looked like some bullshit. No sorry, he'll
[1:06:00] Speaker 1: billy shit, y'all. It was cars in the yard, at
[1:06:03] Speaker 1: least like six of them, in various states of disrepair,
[1:06:06] Speaker 1: some taking apart and not put back together. Trash everywhere,
[1:06:10] Speaker 1: a bird bath full of tools, a random dog cage
[1:06:13] Speaker 1: chipped on its side, various small engine things like ride girl,
[1:06:19] Speaker 1: what like riding lawnmowers, dirt bikes, y'all, Just like a
[1:06:23] Speaker 1: bunch of shit. I'm picturing like a junk yard as
[1:06:28] Speaker 1: she's describing this. So I pull up and he comes out,
[1:06:31] Speaker 1: and he's finer than his pictures. My pussy instantly got wet.
[1:06:34] Speaker 1: I legit forgot I was in a movie kidnaped scene,
[1:06:37] Speaker 1: and follow him inside, my little dog in toe. We
[1:06:40] Speaker 1: get inside and the inside was worse than the outside.
[1:06:43] Speaker 1: If I couldn't be anonymous, I wouldn't even tell this
[1:06:45] Speaker 1: story because it is so embarrassing. It had to be
[1:06:48] Speaker 1: like a forty year old trailer. It was basically like
[1:06:51] Speaker 1: they ghetto rigged something. Every time something broke and they
[1:06:54] Speaker 1: literally were using a fireplace for heat. The only bathroom
[1:06:57] Speaker 1: was completely rusted out. I found this out when I
[1:06:59] Speaker 1: said I had to go pee, and he told me
[1:07:01] Speaker 1: where the bathroom was, and I went in there stepped
[1:07:04] Speaker 1: on a soft floor. Thank god, my common sense said,
[1:07:06] Speaker 1: don't take off your shoes. I turned right back around
[1:07:09] Speaker 1: and told him I needed to go to the store.
[1:07:10] Speaker 1: My stuff was still in the car, and I insisted
[1:07:14] Speaker 1: on bringing my dog. He wanted to come to the store.
[1:07:16] Speaker 1: While in the car, I told him I was upset
[1:07:18] Speaker 1: that he invited me into this environment. I'm not going
[1:07:21] Speaker 1: back in there. He said he understood, and he would
[1:07:23] Speaker 1: get us room. The room he got was not nice
[1:07:26] Speaker 1: at all. Think bait's motel, not the bait's motel. Oh lord, okay,
[1:07:30] Speaker 1: but at this point, it's like midnight, and I'm not
[1:07:33] Speaker 1: trying to die on these North Carolina country roads. So
[1:07:36] Speaker 1: I bring my dog and we're in this little trapass
[1:07:40] Speaker 1: motel room. I put my dog in his little pop
[1:07:42] Speaker 1: up cage, took a shower with my crocs on trust
[1:07:45] Speaker 1: no one, especially housekeeping in a place like this, and
[1:07:48] Speaker 1: put on something sexy as sexy as one can be
[1:07:52] Speaker 1: in this environment, I'm gonna need socks and crocs. But
[1:07:55] Speaker 1: at this point I'm like, okay, one night's stand, because
[1:07:58] Speaker 1: clearly I can't live this life. I had him take
[1:08:00] Speaker 1: a shower. He was fine, but there was no way
[1:08:03] Speaker 1: he was going inside of me. After coming out of
[1:08:05] Speaker 1: that place, I was tempted to go supervise, but to
[1:08:09] Speaker 1: be honest, he smelled good and when we hugged outside
[1:08:12] Speaker 1: of his house. But still I'm thinking in my head,
[1:08:15] Speaker 1: I'm gonna get digged down and walk away because this
[1:08:17] Speaker 1: is not even broken into gaga activities. This is poverty
[1:08:20] Speaker 1: and I grew up in the trenches and I'm not
[1:08:22] Speaker 1: going back now onto the cock fail. I just felt
[1:08:25] Speaker 1: like y'all needed the context. Thank you, because I enjoyed
[1:08:28] Speaker 1: you setting the scene so and then it lo okay.
[1:08:32] Speaker 1: So not to shoot my own horn, but I know
[1:08:34] Speaker 1: I'm good at second Dick because I literally have no
[1:08:37] Speaker 1: gag reflex. I'm bringing out all the tricks, the slurping sounds,
[1:08:40] Speaker 1: the works, and he's just in my heart. So I'm like,
[1:08:43] Speaker 1: what's wrong. After a little coaxing, he tells me he
[1:08:45] Speaker 1: wants me to go eat his ass. I hear Keikey's
[1:08:47] Speaker 1: voice in my head saying just go for it. So
[1:08:49] Speaker 1: I go for it. I block the poverished man. Okay, yeah,
[1:08:55] Speaker 1: she said he was fine, and you know how that okay,
[1:09:00] Speaker 1: how that pretty privilege goes. Okay, he's into it. He's moaning,
[1:09:04] Speaker 1: I'm getting it super weight. He guides my hand to
[1:09:07] Speaker 1: his booty hole in my medina voice and slays a
[1:09:10] Speaker 1: finger in. With his guidance, it quickly escalates to four
[1:09:14] Speaker 1: fingers in and he's basically writing my hand and then
[1:09:19] Speaker 1: he comes I was confused. I'm a blunt person, so
[1:09:25] Speaker 1: I asked him what the fuck was that? I said,
[1:09:27] Speaker 1: it felt like he didn't like pussy. Long story short,
[1:09:30] Speaker 1: he admitted to survival homosexual sex work and said he
[1:09:35] Speaker 1: wasn't gay and only did it for money. He said
[1:09:38] Speaker 1: he saw a real future with me. I was shook.
[1:09:40] Speaker 1: I had to break it to him that based on
[1:09:41] Speaker 1: my experience with him, it seems like that's what he prefers.
[1:09:45] Speaker 1: That led to an all nighter of tears and revelations
[1:09:48] Speaker 1: about how he likes to be fucked by men, but
[1:09:50] Speaker 1: wants to be in a relationship with me and wants
[1:09:52] Speaker 1: me to play with his booty hoole. Needless to say,
[1:09:54] Speaker 1: that was a note for me. I waited for the
[1:09:56] Speaker 1: sun to come up, and then I drove back three
[1:09:58] Speaker 1: hours on no sleep, with my dog, completely unsatisfied. More
[1:10:02] Speaker 1: of the story. I need to stop with the pretty privilege,
[1:10:05] Speaker 1: because I should have booked myself a room at a
[1:10:07] Speaker 1: real hotel and got some sleep before driving back. From
[1:10:10] Speaker 1: now on, I'll take I'll take my niggas with the
[1:10:13] Speaker 1: dash ugly the end. Sometimes life really ain't fair. Sent
[1:10:16] Speaker 1: from my phone night, But I still.
[1:10:22] Speaker 3: Wonder what the pretty privilege of him had to do
[1:10:24] Speaker 3: with her not just getting a hotel still and getting
[1:10:26] Speaker 3: some rest before the drive back.
[1:10:28] Speaker 1: Because she just felt like he was so fine, so
[1:10:30] Speaker 1: she just wanted to stay up and talk with him.
[1:10:32] Speaker 1: She couldn't really decline, I guess, is what she's saying. Well, yeah,
