The Howie Games presents a special new series. Pendlebury Diaries is built from personal, real time voice notes exchanged between Scott Pendlebury and Mark Howard, tracking the weeks and months leading into his record-breaking AFL game. Early mornings, training, recovery, mindset, family, a fourth Anzac Day Medal as it unfolds and even Collingwood boardroom insights - the stuff that usually stays behind closed doors. Episode 1 goes inside the mind of Scott Pendlebury as he chases history. From the heartbreak of tearing his calf in the prelim and the “worst tasting beer in history”, to being back in the home gym at 6.30am the Monday after the Lions won the Premiership and already preparing for 2026, Pendles opens up like never before. There’s honest insight into contract talks, the grind of pre-season, injury setbacks, watching helplessly from home, and the mindset that has driven one of the game’s greatest careers. ## Transcript

[0:02] A listener production.
[0:11] Oh, fuck.
[0:12] It's midnight.
[0:14] Pretty gutted.
[0:16] Just lost the prelim.
[0:17] I don't know what I've done to my car.
[0:21] Tough caper, professional sport.
[0:23] Tough caper.
[0:24] More of that in a moment.
[0:26] How about I take you back before we move forward and explain what the record breaker is all about.
[0:34] So in the 2025 AFL preseason, Collingwood legend Scott Pendlebury took us all on a journey with never before heard insights recorded on his phone as to what an AFL preseason entails as he pushed past 400 games of AFL football.
[0:51] We called the series Pendlebury Beyond 400 and it blew up the Howie Games feed.
[0:56] Blew the system up.
[0:58] Black and white goes sick at the G. 6.50, so bad morning.
[1:01] In pre-season when you're a side that doesn't play finals, you're trying to grab E, but you can't.
[1:06] Hey mate, that's the difference when you come forward like that.
[1:08] Unbelievable for us.
[1:09] Everyone's trying to chat, everyone's talking, everyone's helping each other out, but you're redlining.
[1:13] Let's go, let's go.
[1:14] Five's gonna spew.
[1:19] Now, over a year on, Pendles is on the cusp of breaking Brent Harvey's all-time record of most VFL, AFL games ever played, set at 432 matches.
[1:27] When you consider there have been 13,300-plus matches,
[1:39] VFL AFL footballers.
[1:41] With the game being played since 1897, to have played potentially the most games of any of those athletes in all those years, it is a bloody huge achievement.
[1:52] Scott's first, very first AFL game was round 10 2006, 2006 for Collingwood against the Brisbane Lions at the MCG.
[2:01] Buckley, if anyone can find a target in there, it's him.
[2:05] Young Pendlebury stands out.
[2:07] The Pies won and Pendles kicked a goal with his very first kick.
[2:11] Of course he did.
[2:12] A couple of handballs, this young man, big raps, big basketball background.
[2:18] He joins the club.
[2:20] First kick, first goal.
[2:22] So the record breaker isn't taking you back through Scott's incredible career.
[2:25] It's bringing you to the now.
[2:27] To Scott approaching the record of most matches played in the history of the game through his innermost thoughts.
[2:33] All the uncertainty.
[2:35] 8.30, morning after the Giants game.
[2:37] Disastrous for Collingwood.
[2:39] Heading in to get a scan on my left Achilles.
[2:43] The build-up.
[2:44] Then the conversations win.
[2:45] All the hype.
[2:46] We salute you, Scotty.
[2:48] Ageless, timeless, peerless.
[2:51] And as I set this up, the unknown.
[2:55] Because as of now, Tuesday the 24th of March, 2026 at 1.01pm, the record is still six games away.
[3:05] Only six games.
[3:07] But a lot can happen in just six games.
[3:12] So we begin back at that prelim final where the pies went down to Brisbane and Pendles got injured.
[3:18] In my mind, we've got a game to win.
[3:20] So we went underneath and, you know, we're talking about what we could do.
[3:25] We could, you know, inject it.
[3:27] We could strap it.
[3:27] And I remember just saying to the doc and the physio, I can fucking barely walk up the race.
[3:34] If we strap it or if we inject it, all that's going to happen is I won't feel my leg.
[3:38] I'm basically rendered useless at this point.
[3:42] trying to push on.
[3:43] So I just said, what do you guys think?
[3:44] I just think I'm done.
[3:45] Like I fucking can't, like I can barely get off this table.
[3:49] My calf's, it's done.
[3:52] So we just made the call.
[3:55] unbeknown to the Howie Games audience, we had actually cooked up a plan with Scotty that if the Pies won, he had agreed to do a grand final week podcast dive to take your behind-the-scenes the biggest week of the footy calendar.
[4:07] Stay seven, stay seven.
[4:08] Pendle's gone down.
[4:10] In front of a packed chain-worn stand.
[4:12] Scott Pendlebury's moved down to the room, so we'll keep an eye on that situation at ground level with Jono and Lynch.
[4:18] Stay seven, keep an eye on Pendle's.
[4:19] If he comes back up again, just stay there.
[4:22] Tommy, you there, mate?
[4:23] Tommy?
[4:24] Yes, mate?
[4:26] That is obviously not part of the broadcast.
[4:29] That is me talking to Tommy Dullard, who produces the Howie Games and also produces Fox Footy, when we are beginning to realise that the Grand Final Week diary is looking very, very distant.
[4:41] This conversation obviously didn't go to air on the broadcast.
[4:44] I'm trying to take you behind the scenes here.
[4:45] It is what we in TV land call the sneaky button, where I can press a button to talk to Tommy.
[4:51] He's out of the game.
[4:52] Not the audience.
[4:53] So you don't hear this.
[4:54] Keep an eye on the rooms, guys.
[4:55] Keep an eye on the room cameras.
[4:57] So we'll come down to you, Lynch.
[4:58] You answer this goal.
[4:59] So you jump in.
[5:01] And stand by seven.
[5:02] Okay, Lynch is jumping in.
[5:05] Just voice only.
[5:06] Just a quick update, Howie.
[5:07] Pendlebury has been ruled out.
[5:09] So this stuff looks like it's been activated.
[5:12] Pendlebury out of the game.
[5:13] Stay there.
[5:13] Three.
[5:13] Stay three.
[5:14] Stay three.
[5:14] Wow.
[5:14] See the champ there.
[5:15] Ready?
[5:16] Four.
[5:16] Four.
[5:16] And that is a big story.
[5:18] Tom Stewart last night.
[5:19] Stay with him.
[5:20] And there is Scott Pendlebury, subbed out.
[5:24] All clear.
[5:25] Stay with him.
[5:26] At this stage, Collingwood fans at the MCG were absolutely spewing.
[5:31] Tommy and I were spewing, but obviously had to get on with calling the game.
[5:35] But it was Scotty that was by far and away the hardest hit.
[5:39] I just lost it freely, and I don't know what I've done to my calf, but, yeah, I just...
[5:45] tried to walk back from the game, basically just limped the whole way back and it's real sore.
[5:52] So I'm assuming I've done something fairly decent.
[5:56] I think I've said this a lot, but the reason I play is for finals, to get into finals, try and get into grand finals.
[6:02] And yeah, I've got no doubt I could have, yeah, impacted that game a lot.
[6:08] To sit there and watch is really hard.
[6:11] Yeah, it just sucks.
[6:14] It just all happens so quickly, you know, like footies now, that's a bow on the season, like, you get messages from everyone asking if you're alright and, yeah, now you're like, I don't know, what are you?
[6:27] Essentially I'm 12 months away again from trying to get another crack at it, pre-season, all that sort of stuff, like the next few days,
[6:36] No doubt people want to catch up and have a beer and celebrate the season, but it's the worst thing you could think of.
[6:41] It will be the worst tasting beer in history when you lose a prelim trying to have a beer and celebrate and talk about the year when you know you could be training at the G, doing the GF parade, all that sort of stuff.
[6:55] So, you know, but that's sports.
[6:57] While you put yourself on the line, you know, you win, you get all the enjoyment and fulfillment.
[7:03] And if you lose, it's a hollow feeling.
[7:05] I'll be...
[7:07] flat for the next few days.
[7:10] Pretty keen to go get a scan.
[7:12] I don't know, maybe just for my own mind, but I'd love to know how bad it is.
[7:17] And if we had a one, would I have been a chance or how far I could have pushed it?
[7:20] But I'm not the first player, I'm not the last player to get injured in a final.
[7:27] But yeah, I think that ending motivates you for me anyway.
[7:34] Let's go again.
[7:35] Let's have another crack at it.
[7:36] Let's put it on the line and let's see what happens.
[7:41] And that right there, right there, is why Scott Pendlebury is a champion.
[7:45] Devastation, bang, turned into motivation.
[7:50] Welcome to the Record Breaker.
[7:54] What a finish by Captain Fantastic.
[7:56] It's a smooth move.
[7:57] Pendlebury.
[7:58] Pendlebury.
[8:00] Left foot.
[8:00] He'll have part to Pendlebury.
[8:02] Look at the Rolls Royce.
[8:03] One step.
[8:03] Superstar's got Pendlebury.
[8:10] All right.
[8:12] It's 6.30 Monday after the GF.
[8:15] They're never satisfied with one foot.
[8:18] Just in my home gym, getting some isometric work in for my calves.
[8:26] Obviously, not an ideal time to do your first soft tissue in a prelim final, five minutes in, but it is what it is.
[8:33] So I've been getting all my isometric work in pretty much since that game.
[8:39] Safe to say, 20, 26 preps well underway.
[8:41] I had a swim yesterday, about a K, because I can't run for another couple of weeks.
[8:47] So doing a bit of riding, swimming, a lot of isometric work.
[8:51] So just holding, so like calf raise, hold at the top.
[8:55] 20 seconds, sort of five sets, just going through all my leg muscle groups today.
[9:00] Maybe an hour worth of holds in the gym, do my calves, do my knees, adductors.
[9:07] and then get a little bit of a lift in as well.
[9:09] So, yeah, family's all still asleep, school holidays, so get this out of the way nice and early and then spend the rest of the day with the fam.
[9:19] We're back.
[9:19] We're back.
[9:25] To establish where we're going, I think we need to establish where we've come from, mate.
[9:28] 10th of August 2025, Collingwood put out a press release, Pendles to play into a 21st season.
[9:36] The 37-year-old veteran, tough, but 37-year-old veteran has signed on with the Collingwood Football Club for another year.
[9:44] So, mate, what was the process here?
[9:47] Take us behind the scenes.
[9:48] Were you always keen to play on?
[9:50] How was the club feeling about it?
[9:51] And how did the situation develop between the two of you to both agree to play on another year?
[9:57] Thanks, mate.
[9:59] So the contract, it was actually really straightforward and pretty easy.
[10:05] The management team at Collingwood, so Lepa, Shannon Collins, Fly, Charlie Gardner,
[10:14] And I guess Ned Kelly, we all sat down at halfway mark of the year, like we said we would at the start of the year, and had a chat how we were going, how the club's seen me performing.
[10:25] Probably helped that I played reasonably well the day before.
[10:33] My first half of the season was pretty strong.
[10:35] I actually think last season was probably my best year in probably two or three years on a personal level.
[10:43] And obviously the team was performing really well.
[10:45] And the role I do is it's valued pretty highly.
[10:48] So yeah, it's pretty quick and easy to nut out.
[10:53] I think Lepa went away for a couple of weeks for his wife's 50th.
[10:56] So we just went...
[10:58] you know, everything was sort of moving.
[10:59] And once he got back, it was pretty quick to knock over.
[11:02] And then it was around the PR management side of it with the club losing a few games in a row and not wanting to announce it.
[11:08] And then we had some milestones.
[11:10] But yeah, it was wrapped up relatively quickly.
[11:13] Mate, the pre-season.
[11:15] Can you give us some insight into what your individual pre-season was like, whether it was more tailored to certain things as opposed to previous seasons you've done as you've got a little bit older?
[11:25] I say with the greatest possible respect, great man.
[11:28] But just run us through what the summer entailed for you.
[11:32] Thank you.
[11:33] Great kick, Billy!
[11:35] Umpires, free kicks, whatever, it's done.
[11:37] Hot, can't change it.
[11:38] Love the heat, yeah?
[11:40] This morning was based around acceleration and deceleration.
[11:44] Oh, what was that?
[11:45] Scroll down for one, hold five.
[11:48] Let's go, mate.
[11:49] Mail it nice and strong.
[11:50] Let's go.
[11:51] Heels, glutes through.
[11:52] Love it.
[11:53] Easy.
[11:54] Hold on.
[11:55] I'm Darnski.
[11:56] Celebrate that.
[11:58] Yeah, so pre-season for me, yeah, it was a little bit different.
[12:02] I spoke to the guys.
[12:03] We traditionally train Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday.
[12:07] And I spoke to the fitness team about me training Monday, Wednesday, Friday, just so I don't have to double up days on legs.
[12:15] With Monday and Wednesday being reasonably big days, the Tuesday is more of a sort of like a recovery day, but you're still on your legs.
[12:21] So I spoke about doing some off-legs conditioning and gym and just going out on the field those three days.
[12:27] And the Tuesday is a heavy fundamental focus.
[12:30] And I feel like the fundamental side of my game is pretty embedded, but I can get some more growth out of...
[12:35] Some off-legs conditioning, whether it be riding, swimming, more gym work.
[12:40] Yeah, weighty and fly are always really open to that sort of stuff.
[12:44] So that sort of was my program throughout.
[12:46] And then obviously you get managed a little bit.
[12:47] I think I heard Paddy Dangerfield speaking about Geelong stuff where...
[12:51] None of their senior players these days do more over 10Ks or whatever it was that he was talking about.
[12:57] And there were certainly some times we got pushed beyond that mark, but a lot of the time, you know, we'll get pulled out of a drill here and there.
[13:03] And, you know, I think I heard Dane just say as well, a lot changes in your time.
[13:08] I remember when you first start, every running drill is...
[13:11] It feels like little athletics on a Saturday morning under 10s because you can try and win everything possible, whereas these days I know that I'm not going to be in that top echelon of runners, but I'm still running in a really solid group.
[13:23] And it hurts the ego sometimes to know that every run you're going to come last in, but for me I just try and empty out and push as hard as I can and just keep grinding and grinding because I know once the game starts, it holds me in good stead.
[13:37] My game hasn't really been built on speed and power.
[13:40] My endurance has always been a strength and my ability to read the game.
[13:43] Presence of mind has slow everything down.
[13:46] Now he moves across the ground.
[13:47] He doesn't look like he's easing up.
[13:48] Pre-season was a little bit different, but I'm one that likes to do a lot with the team and make sure you get the work in and you're part of that chemistry that's building deep into sessions.
[13:58] We're running, we have this running thing that we do, it's called time to exhaustion, where you pretty much just keep running until you can't make the time, and even then you stay in and you just keep going.
[14:07] And it's fucked, it's one of the hardest things you do.
[14:10] You always do it at the end of a session, not every week, but every now and again.
[14:13] And there's only 20, 25 of us left on the track and you're doing that and you can barely switch from the jog to the sprint, you're that cool.
[14:21] But I reckon those sessions are the ones that build great sort of mental and physical resilience.
[14:29] Pendles, obviously there's games to be played before you potentially break the record, so I don't want to put the cart before the horse.
[14:35] But creatively, I think we need to put a few things in place so people can understand what the preceding weeks are like for you leading up to this momentous occasion.
[14:47] So when you are brought into meetings either with management, your management, with the football club when they're talking about things they're going to do around the game, commercial opportunities...
[14:59] If you could just hit record at the start of some of these meetings, don't give away commercial sensitivities, obviously, but just so we can gain an understanding of the different people, the workings within the football club, et cetera, that are pulling together to celebrate the moment with you and your family and for the football club, that will be outstanding.
[15:26] The big one for us that we need to actually start to really put our heads towards is it a home or away game?
[15:31] Obviously the implications for members are big if it's an away game.
[15:35] So we're just trying to work through some scenarios if it is that it lands on an away game.
[15:39] Our hope is home so that we can work in with the MCG and AFL on opening up more inventory for our members just to get into the game.
[15:46] I read in the paper three days ago there was talk about gold lettering on your number 10 and the logo.
[15:52] So is this something you've been consulted upon?
[15:55] Is this something you knew anything about?
[15:57] Or is this just going to be rolled out by the club?
[16:00] Thank you, mate.
[16:02] The gold logo, number 10.
[16:04] It was floated to me a little while back.
[16:06] And, yeah, I sort of had a few questions to ask, but I actually seen the jumper for the first time yesterday.
[16:13] And it is, yeah, it is really cool.
[16:15] So I'm looking forward to hopefully getting to put that on in a few weeks' time, which will be nice.
[16:21] Enter Scott Pendlebury and three quick goals.
[16:23] Just ball in handy so good, isn't it?
[16:26] Here we go.
[16:26] Game 426.
[16:27] Collingwood versus St Kilda.
[16:29] Seven games to the record.
[16:31] 36 player, no.
[16:32] It was a bit of a deliberate plan to look after a couple early in terms of game time.
[16:40] Pendles was one of those.
[16:43] Game 427.
[16:44] Collingwood versus Adelaide.
[16:46] Six games to the record.
[16:48] Free kick, the Pies fans are going to invade the ground.
[16:50] That's the Pendlebury factor again.
[16:52] Pendlebury, the reflex is nothing wrong with him.
[16:55] Game 428, Collingwood versus GWS.
[17:00] Five games to the record.
[17:01] Through Pendlebury, back to steer.
[17:03] Pendlebury through the middle of the ground.
[17:04] He can play forever as far as I'm concerned.
[17:06] We like to be risk takers, you've got to be.
[17:07] Siren goes.
[17:08] Let's go.
[17:09] Pies.
[17:09] Just after half-time, it's just got sore again in a similar spot.
[17:13] So, yeah, it's nothing to worry about.
[17:15] The Pies have always said, we're not playing him off five-day breaks.
[17:17] We know he'll get to the record, but we are not rushing him in any way.
[17:20] So, Pies fans, he'll get there.
[17:22] Just don't book your tickets yet for that blockbuster clash whenever it is.
[17:35] Right, it's 8.30, morning after the Giants game, heading in to get a scan, just on my left Achilles at half time, it got a bit tight.
[17:49] Played a bit of the third, but it felt like I was running really different, really flat footed and just didn't feel confident to push off, basically on both sides of my Achilles.
[18:00] Yeah.
[18:01] Crazy how it works, it stems from Adelaide, right ankle gave my syndesmosis a bit of a tweak and rolled inwards, which is like really not common.
[18:12] So since then, I've definitely been running different, you know, walking flat footed, had Achilles awareness.
[18:20] for probably two weeks, but nothing out of the ordinary.
[18:23] I've been dealing with Achilles tendonitis and stuff for 20 years, so nothing out of the ordinary.
[18:29] But I think I've got a good awareness of my body that it didn't feel like I was 100% confident to do what I needed to do.
[18:37] So I went down, had a quick look at it, and then
[18:41] realised we're up by 25 points or whatever it was and at that stage it just wasn't worth the risk in round three to push it any further.
[18:50] So we just made a safety first call to look after it and yeah I'll head in now, get a scan but I'm pretty adamant everything will be fine, I'll just need to get in some
[19:01] Tendon loading.
[19:02] When I got home last night after the game, I went straight out to the gym and did some loading on both Achilles, did some isometrics.
[19:11] Yeah, I woke up this morning, you know, really well.
[19:13] It's probably the best I've walked the morning after a game.
[19:17] since that syndesmosis tweak against Adelaide in round one.
[19:20] So pretty optimistic that everything will be fine.
[19:24] Funny how it works.
[19:24] I was never gonna be playing the Brisbane game anyway, the sort of pre-season plan with me and Fly that we chatted through was to miss the Brisbane game to get myself cherry ripe for the Fremantle game.
[19:37] It's just a bit of an odd one with opening round, our fixture with having like long breaks.
[19:42] And traditionally my Achilles,
[19:45] don't respond overly well to lots of change in surface.
[19:49] So, you know, obviously we're gonna go MCG, Marvel, Gabba, Adelaide, back to the G. So history tells me that.
[20:00] You gotta look after my Achilles and yeah, so I missed this one, which is, you know, it gives me good time.
[20:06] Two weeks now to get all my conditioning and loading and dial everything in, so I'm just completely cherry ripe for that free metal game, which is the next one I'll be playing.
[20:16] So yeah, now it's about...
[20:19] Getting the scan done, head to MICE, Melbourne International Coffee Expo after the scan, which is a highlight for me.
[20:27] Get there with the boys from Artisti and make some brews for everyone.
[20:31] Welcome to YouTube Live.
[20:33] We've got the legend Scott Pendlebury from the Collingwood Football Club here.
[20:36] We're here at MICE 2026 and just having a great time, enjoying coffee.
[20:41] Saturday the 28th of March, 12.52pm.
[20:44] Thanks for your message about the game via the Giants.
[20:47] Just a quick one from me.
[20:49] Scotty, tell me the scan is okay.
[20:51] Tell me the scan was all okay.
[20:53] Cheers, mate.
[20:56] My Achilles scan come back all clear, which was good, but I've had Achilles sort of tendonitis, tendinopathy for large majority of my career.
[21:04] It stems back from round one against the Crows.
[21:07] I sort of did a low grade syndesmosis on my right ankle, which obviously stiffened everything up.
[21:13] And then, yeah, so sort of just ongoing maintenance like all players have to cop with.
[21:19] So it's just my turn.
[21:26] Do-do-do-do-do-do!
[21:29] Zambada's a good one that's given us now.
[21:31] Good on you.
[21:32] A little bit of optimism.
[21:33] That's what they say.
[21:35] Give a man a horse, give him hope.
[21:39] Do you hear that, Scotty?
[21:40] You give a man a horse, you give them hope.
[21:43] That is the great Lee Matthews alongside Matt Hill.
[21:45] It's Thursday night football at the Gabba.
[21:47] And I'm disappointed you're not here.
[21:49] Always a bit on edge when the greatest player of all time, Lee Matthews, steps into commentary.
[21:53] So me and Hillie need to be sharp.
[21:55] But the reason I message you, it is 6.30, 8 p.m.
[22:01] So leading into Collingwood, Brisbane.
[22:04] How do you go when you're not playing?
[22:05] Do you sit at home and watch it on the telly?
[22:09] And do you watch it as a spectacle?
[22:11] Or do you not watch it?
[22:12] Or do you watch it analytically?
[22:14] And are you flat that you're not here?
[22:16] Or is it so many games, it's another game where you're resting up and you get another crack at it?
[22:22] Thank you, mate.
[22:23] Pendles and I chatted this week and we chatted pre-season.
[22:26] He was unlucky to go to this game.
[22:27] Six-day travel into Brisbane and then back to Melbourne to gather around.
[22:31] That was always our plan, not to go to this game.
[22:34] What I've done today, I've pretty much been nervous since the moment I woke up.
[22:40] So I'm not a great viewer.
[22:43] I don't get erratic or anything.
[22:45] I just don't know.
[22:46] I'm just not a great watcher.
[22:47] So I've sort of just passed time all day.
[22:50] I mowed the lawns.
[22:52] I gurnied all the pavers, cleaned the pool, cleaned the house.
[22:57] Just random stuff.
[22:58] Went and picked up kids from school, coached my son in basketball at 5 o'clock, got home at 6, was antsy, so I jumped on the bike, went for an hour ride, got home at 7, had dinner, and then the game started.
[23:09] It's halftime.
[23:10] Collingwood trail by 29 points here at the Major Breakup.
[23:15] It's hard to watch, only because you sort of know a lot more in detail of what's supposed to be happening.
[23:20] When you can see things going a certain way or little mishaps,
[23:25] Yeah, it's tough to watch.
[23:26] So it's halftime now and surprise, surprise, I'm out in the back room just cleaning that while halftime passes.
[23:32] But I suppose for me, I knew I wasn't going to be playing.
[23:35] So it's all just been about getting my conditioning.
[23:38] I've done a, you know, I've had a fairly big week of cross training.
[23:42] I've got training at 7am tomorrow.
[23:44] So yeah.
[23:45] you know, hit bed as soon as the game's done and then I'll get into the club by about 6 o'clock tomorrow morning to get all my prehab work done, everything prepped and then I'm out on the track to run at 7am.
[23:54] So looking forward to having a trot and getting some conditioning in and hopefully the boys can turn around in the second half.
[24:03] There it is.
[24:04] So it's a big win for Brisbane.
[24:12] All right, it's 5.54, Friday the 3rd of April.
[24:17] Morning after we got belted last night by Brisbane.
[24:21] Obviously, I just watched at home with the fam.
[24:24] Tough game, tough, tough game.
[24:27] Watched till the end, but it was, yeah, you could sort of tell halfway through that second that Brisbane were just, yeah, they just completely were dominating us through the middle of the ground.
[24:37] We just couldn't get our hands on the ball, and then, you know, we did all right to keep hanging in there, but we were just working so much harder for our scores than what they were.
[24:46] Yeah, it is what it is though.
[24:48] They're a good side early in the year, still got plenty of time to keep working through it and getting better.
[24:55] I'm off now to the club.
[24:56] I got my session today, so heading now.
[24:58] I've got physio at 6.30.
[24:59] It's absolutely pissing rain here in good old Melbourne.
[25:03] So I'll be running outside in the mud, I reckon.
[25:08] So yeah, looking forward to it though.
[25:10] First run in a week.
[25:11] So I've done all the off leg conditioning, isometric holds,
[25:15] Loading work.
[25:16] So everything's been fine.
[25:18] Ticking it off pretty easily thus far.
[25:20] So looking forward to today's session.
[25:22] Cheers.
[25:33] That is it for episode one of the Pendlebury Diaries, the record breaker.
[25:37] In episode two, the footy ramps up.
[25:40] The arch-rival's Carlton... ...to tie it up!
[25:43] I feel sorry for the young lad.
[25:44] You don't like seeing somebody shattered like that.
[25:46] Scott takes you behind the scenes of that incredible Anzac Day performance.
[25:51] Career high, 43 disposals.
[25:54] It's the morning after Anzac Day.
[25:57] Injury is never far away.
[25:59] Every time I sort of lift my left hand and finger, I can feel ligaments clicking.
[26:03] If you hit subscribe, that will be brilliant because it's free.
[26:06] And that will also mean you will not miss episode two, which drops next Friday of the Pendlebury Diaries, the record breaker next Friday, episode two.
[26:14] Don't be missing it.
[26:15] Peace and love.
