Pat Spillane and Dick Clerkin join Michael for this week’s Indo GAA Gaelic football podcast, kicking off with Westmeath’s victory over Meath and how that has broken the Leinster Championship wide open. They discuss how Ger Brennan’s ban might highlight a lack of experience in Dublin’s backroom team, Monaghan’s eureka moment and why Down flew to Kerry to play a behind-closed-doors challenge match recently. Finally, the panel also chatted about Jim Gavin’s comments around the need for a third football championship tier - and whether that would work in practice.
