[0:00] Hallelujah. Thank you for tuning in to this powerful message by David Entry at Karis Phase 2.
[0:07] ! Our Christ Centred Youth Services.
[0:10] You can never find Christ outside of the open Word of God.
[0:14] May Jesus Christ reveal Himself to you as you listen.
[0:18] Revelation 1 verse 1 says that the revelation of Jesus Christ.
[0:28] Let us all read that first line again.
[0:31] Revelation 1 verse 1. The first line.
[0:34] The revelation of Jesus Christ.
[0:36] One more time.
[0:37] The revelation of Jesus Christ.
[0:39] For the last time.
[0:40] The revelation of Jesus Christ.
[0:42] And then verse 9.
[0:46] Verse 9.
[0:48] I, John, who also am your brother and companion in tribulation and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ was in the isle that is called Patmos.
[1:08] Why?
[1:09] For the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
[1:15] For the Word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
[1:23] The strength of anybody's Christian life is built on one platform.
[1:38] One platform and one platform alone.
[1:42] The strength of anybody's Christian life is built on one platform.
[1:49] Every healthy Christian life is built on one platform.
[1:55] It's on the platform of the revelation of Jesus Christ.
[1:59] So, Paul said, Galatians 1 verse 15.
[2:03] When it pleased God, who separated me from my mother's womb and called me, why in goodness, and called me by his grace.
[2:14] Say, by the grace of God.
[2:15] Say, I'm here by the grace of God.
[2:17] I'm here by the grace of God.
[2:18] And called me by his grace.
[2:20] For what purpose?
[2:21] Number, the next verse.
[2:22] To reveal.
[2:23] To reveal Jesus in me.
[2:29] Say, that's why I'm alive.
[2:31] I'm alive.
[2:33] So, Jesus will be refilled in me.
[2:36] The revelation of Jesus Christ is what determines what kind of Christian you are.
[2:43] The revelation of Jesus you have is what determines what kind of Christian you are.
[2:47] I will repeat that.
[2:50] The revelation of Jesus you have is what determines what kind of Christian you are.
[2:57] It's not how you know how to shout hallelujah.
[3:02] It's not the quotations you can quote.
[3:05] It's not how much Bible you know.
[3:07] It is not how much you are in church.
[3:10] It's not how many Christian friends you have.
[3:13] It's not how many pastors are in your family.
[3:16] It's not how many pastors you have as friends.
[3:18] It's that.
[3:19] None of that determines the quality of your Christian life.
[3:22] The quality of any person's Christian life is determined by the revelation of Jesus you have.
[3:28] And when you have, oh, when you have the revelation of Jesus, then the revelation of Jesus you have becomes your testimony of the Lord.
[3:44] And sometimes a task comes against you because of your testimony of Jesus.
[3:53] Hallelujah.
[3:54] Hallelujah.
[3:55] Amen.
[3:56] He said, I am on the Isle of Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
[4:03] Can you imagine the whole book starts by the revelation of Jesus which was given to him.
[4:10] It's a revelation of Jesus.
[4:12] The last book in the Bible is called Revelation.
[4:15] And it's not.
[4:16] Many people think it's about revelation of end times.
[4:20] End times.
[4:21] End times.
[4:22] No, no, no, no.
[4:23] It's not revelation of end times.
[4:24] It's a revelation of Jesus.
[4:26] Yes.
[4:27] Yes.
[4:28] Yes.
[4:29] Yes.
[4:30] So, you read it, trying to find out what's going to happen in the end times and say, there's so many things I don't understand.
[4:35] Why would you?
[4:36] Because it's not about end time.
[4:38] No.
[4:39] No.
[4:40] No.
[4:41] No.
[4:42] No.
[4:43] No.
[4:44] No.
[4:45] No.
[4:46] No.
[4:47] No.
[4:48] No.
[4:49] No.
[4:50] No.
[4:51] No.
[4:52] No.
[4:53] No.
[4:54] No.
[4:55] No.
[4:56] No.
[4:57] No.
[4:58] No.
[4:59] No.
[5:00] No.
[5:01] No.
[5:02] No.
[5:03] No.
[5:04] No.
[5:05] No.
[5:06] No.
[5:07] No.
[5:08] No.
[5:09] No.
[5:10] No.
[5:11] No.
[5:12] No.
[5:13] No.
[5:14] No.
[5:15] No.
[5:16] No.
[5:17] No.
[5:18] No.
[5:19] No.
[5:20] No.
[5:21] No.
[5:22] No.
[5:23] No.
[5:24] No.
[5:25] feet. And he's wearing
[5:26] a robe.
[5:28] And he has a belt, sash.
[5:32] Where do you
[5:33] put your belt?
[5:35] His own is not in his waist.
[5:38] His own
[5:39] is first.
[5:45] And in the midst of the seven
[5:46] lines, I saw someone like a son of man
[5:48] clothed with garments down to his feet.
[5:50] The garment was long
[5:52] to his feet.
[5:53] So those of you ladies
[5:55] who want to be like Jesus,
[5:57] your garment is only
[6:01] down to the top of your knees.
[6:08] Yes, be like
[6:09] Jesus now.
[6:11] That's just a joke, okay?
[6:16] Like a garment
[6:17] down to his feet. And
[6:19] get about the
[6:21] palms with his golden
[6:23] give us different translations.
[6:24] What's pap's?
[6:28] What's pap's?
[6:29] Chest.
[6:30] Chest. Where's your chest?
[6:32] That's where your breast is.
[6:33] Right?
[6:34] Yeah.
[6:35] Belt.
[6:36] No, it's waist.
[6:37] It's belt.
[6:38] It's on his chest.
[6:41] Yeah.
[6:42] It's around where his heart is.
[6:46] Wow.
[6:47] Wow.
[6:47] No.
[6:48] Jesus was revealed in the book of Revelation.
[6:50] It's very strange.
[6:50] And he was walking
[6:52] in the midst of seven lampstands.
[6:56] And he had in his right hand
[6:57] seven golden stars.
[7:02] In his right hand.
[7:03] He said,
[7:03] in the midst of seven,
[7:04] verse 16 and 17.
[7:08] Two-edged swords.
[7:17] Verse 16.
[7:17] He said,
[7:17] the countenance was like the shining star.
[7:19] Let's go to the next,
[7:20] verse 17.
[7:21] So I felt his feet.
[7:23] All right.
[7:24] Let's go to the next verse.
[7:25] Verse 20, actually.
[7:27] I think it's verse 20.
[7:29] Yes.
[7:30] Okay.
[7:30] So he said,
[7:30] the mystery of the seven stars.
[7:32] The seven stars,
[7:33] which you saw in the right hand.
[7:35] The seven stars is in the previous.
[7:37] It was in the right.
[7:39] I said,
[7:39] those seven stars are the angel
[7:41] of the seven churches.
[7:43] Yes.
[7:45] So angel there is Angelos.
[7:47] Angelos is a messenger.
[7:51] So he said messenger.
[7:52] It's not necessarily an angel.
[7:54] But many theologians believe
[7:56] the leader of that church
[7:57] is the star in God's hand.
[8:01] In Christ's hands.
[8:03] So if your pastor is not doing something,
[8:05] instead of gossipy about him,
[8:06] pray about him,
[8:07] Christ will squeeze him in the thing.
[8:13] Hallelujah.
[8:15] But a revelation of Jesus.
[8:18] It's a revelation of Jesus.
[8:21] The revelation of Jesus.
[8:22] Ah.
[8:23] Thank God.
[8:24] Let me just pause to say this.
[8:27] I'm not talking about
[8:29] a religious,
[8:32] Quranic,
[8:32] black panther-ish,
[8:34] black panther-ish,
[8:37] cultic figure image.
[8:42] The revelation of Jesus
[8:43] I'm talking about
[8:44] is not about image.
[8:46] I just used this
[8:47] to tell you,
[8:48] he said,
[8:48] it's a revelation of Jesus.
[8:50] Then he describes some things.
[8:51] But that's not the entire description
[8:53] of Jesus.
[8:54] He's more than that.
[8:55] He's the lion of the tribe of Judah.
[8:57] He's the lamb that was slain.
[8:58] He's the one on the throne.
[9:03] He's the,
[9:03] he's the,
[9:04] the Bible says,
[9:04] the lamb is the light.
[9:06] There's no need of sun.
[9:07] There's no need of moon.
[9:08] God,
[9:09] the lamb is the,
[9:10] so it's,
[9:11] it's,
[9:11] it's deeper than
[9:12] human imagination's
[9:13] can capture.
[9:15] You can't capture
[9:16] Jesus' revelation
[9:17] with human imagination.
[9:20] That's why he said,
[9:21] Exodus chapter 12,
[9:23] verse 1,
[9:24] here,
[9:24] oh Israel,
[9:25] it says that,
[9:26] chapter,
[9:27] chapter 20,
[9:27] I'm so sorry.
[9:28] Exodus chapter 20,
[9:30] verse 1,
[9:30] 2,
[9:31] and 3.
[9:31] It says that,
[9:32] and the Lord spoke to,
[9:34] all these words,
[9:35] saying,
[9:36] I am the Lord,
[9:37] your God,
[9:37] who brought you out of the land of Egypt,
[9:40] out of the house of God.
[9:42] Thou shall not have any other God besides me,
[9:47] before me.
[9:48] Thou shall not make unto thee,
[9:50] the next verse,
[9:52] thou shall not make unto thee,
[9:54] any graven image,
[9:56] or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above,
[10:00] or the earth beneath,
[10:02] and that is in the waters under the earth.
[10:06] For I am a jealous,
[10:07] who said,
[10:08] thou shall not bow thyself to them,
[10:10] nor serve them.
[10:11] For I am thy God,
[10:14] for I,
[10:15] the Lord thy God,
[10:15] I am a jealous God.
[10:18] He said,
[10:19] don't do,
[10:20] you don't need any image.
[10:22] So don't let anybody make something,
[10:24] say,
[10:24] these are heavenly creatures.
[10:26] That's why you can't capture God in an image.
[10:30] You can't capture Jesus in an image.
[10:32] So those people who say that,
[10:33] I know the way Jesus looks like,
[10:35] they are,
[10:36] they are deluded.
[10:39] Why didn't he come during the time of internet?
[10:42] He came at a time where there are no photographs.
[10:46] So you can't take a picture of him.
[10:48] He said,
[10:49] don't make any image.
[10:54] So what am I trying to say?
[10:55] The revelation of Jesus I'm talking about is not an imagery.
[10:59] It's not something iconic,
[11:02] or I'm not talking about iconoclasticism.
[11:07] I'm talking about something that is so imprinted in your spirit.
[11:16] Your mind can't describe it.
[11:18] You know him,
[11:19] yet you can't describe it to anyone.
[11:20] The revelation of Jesus is in your spirit.
[11:29] If you know,
[11:30] if you say you know Jesus,
[11:31] it's not about what you have seen.
[11:33] I saw a creature.
[11:34] I saw something came to me in my room,
[11:36] and I saw Jesus shining in the sky.
[11:39] All those things,
[11:39] you don't need them.
[11:41] People who have some of those things,
[11:43] once in a while,
[11:44] some might be true,
[11:45] because of a unique encounter God wanted.
[11:48] Sometimes someone is in Saudi Arabia,
[11:51] has never heard the gospel.
[11:53] No,
[11:53] you can't be saved if you have not heard the gospel.
[11:57] Because even if you see an image,
[11:59] you think it is Allah.
[12:03] Because you must have been told about a Jesus.
[12:07] So that when an image guy said,
[12:09] I'm Jesus,
[12:09] then you can put two and two together.
[12:12] Did you understand that?
[12:13] That's why preachers are so important.
[12:15] I'm talking about you,
[12:17] as a preacher.
[12:21] The,
[12:22] Christianity is given,
[12:25] is based on your revelation of Jesus.
[12:28] That's why my job,
[12:31] is like,
[12:34] there's a,
[12:35] when I was in second school,
[12:37] there's a thing called tracing paper.
[12:40] You put it on it,
[12:41] and then you can draw the outline.
[12:43] You can,
[12:44] my job is like,
[12:45] I'm supposed to help you,
[12:48] put your tracing paper,
[12:49] open the Bible,
[12:50] so the image of Jesus,
[12:51] you,
[12:51] from the,
[12:52] I'm,
[12:53] I can't show you Jesus,
[12:55] but I can help you follow the outline.
[12:59] That's the job of a pastor.
[13:00] No human being can reveal Jesus.
[13:04] A human being can teach the scriptures,
[13:06] and explain the scriptures with an anointing.
[13:09] That one too is grace.
[13:12] With an anointing.
[13:14] And the Holy Spirit breathes on it.
[13:16] Because it takes only the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus.
[13:20] It takes the spirit to make him known.
[13:24] He said when he comes,
[13:26] he will testify of me.
[13:28] John 16,
[13:29] 27.
[13:31] Because he will take,
[13:32] the spirit of truth,
[13:34] the spirit of reality,
[13:36] his job is to testify.
[13:38] John 16,
[13:39] 26,
[13:40] 27.
[13:41] He will testify.
[13:46] So,
[13:46] he says that,
[13:47] for the spirit shall testify,
[13:50] the spirit shall testify of me.
[13:53] Pastor,
[13:55] you have a testimony of Jesus.
[13:56] What's your testimony of Jesus?
[13:58] The revelation of Jesus you have.
[14:00] That becomes your testimony of Jesus.
[14:04] And,
[14:04] but if I share my testimony,
[14:06] the testimony of Jesus to you,
[14:08] if I tell you the testimony I have of Jesus,
[14:11] that in itself cannot reveal Jesus to you.
[14:14] The Holy Spirit then will take my testimony.
[14:17] Because he's the main testifier.
[14:22] He takes my testimony.
[14:24] Look at the next verse.
[14:26] Verse 27.
[14:28] And you also shall bear witness,
[14:30] because you have been with me from the beginning.
[14:33] So,
[14:34] the Holy Spirit will be my testifier,
[14:37] and then you also.
[14:39] But the Holy Spirit is the main one who helps us to know Jesus.
[14:46] The quality of your Christian life is at the mercy of your revelation of Jesus Christ.
[14:52] Jesus the Christ.
[14:54] Jesus the Christ.
[14:55] When,
[14:55] Yes.
[14:55] when Paul got saved,
[14:58] Bible says in Acts chapter 9 from verse 21-22,
[15:01] immediately in the synagogue,
[15:02] he started preaching and demonstrating that Jesus the 22,
[15:07] started,
[15:08] verse 22 please,
[15:11] said,
[15:11] but so increased and confounded the Jews which dwelt in Damascus,
[15:16] proving that this is very Christ.
[15:20] He was proving,
[15:24] how many of you,
[15:25] that that's an intellectual exercise.
[15:28] He was proving that this is very Christ.
[15:31] The Christ,
[15:32] everybody has been looking for.
[15:33] Moses spoke about,
[15:34] Jeremiah spoke about,
[15:35] Habakkuk spoke about,
[15:36] Nehemiah spoke about,
[15:37] Zephaniah spoke about,
[15:38] Nahum spoke about,
[15:39] Amos spoke about,
[15:40] Daniel spoke about,
[15:42] David spoke about,
[15:43] Abraham spoke about,
[15:44] Moses,
[15:44] that Christ,
[15:46] this is the very Christ.
[15:49] Meanwhile,
[15:49] Christ has ascended.
[15:51] I was telling them,
[15:52] this is the very Christ.
[15:53] In other words,
[15:53] he was pointing them to the Jesus of Nazareth,
[15:56] who walked on the shores,
[15:57] said,
[15:57] that is the very Christ,
[15:58] that the ancient fathers were talking about.
[16:03] Hallelujah.
[16:04] So,
[16:05] the quality of your Christian life,
[16:08] is determined by the quality of your revelation of Jesus Christ.
[16:12] That's why we are in church.
[16:15] We are in church,
[16:16] so that Jesus,
[16:18] will be revealed more and more to us.
[16:20] We are in fellowship,
[16:22] so we can know Jesus more.
[16:24] Because the more you stay in fellowship,
[16:26] the more you likely,
[16:28] if it's a healthy Christian fellowship,
[16:31] the more you are likely to even know Jesus better.
[16:35] It takes a whole lifetime,
[16:38] to know him,
[16:39] a little bit.
[16:40] Amen.
[16:46] Friday,
[16:46] where I was preaching,
[16:47] I told them,
[16:48] a certain pastor hired a consultant,
[16:50] to come and help him,
[16:51] to restructure his church,
[16:53] to,
[16:54] for growth.
[16:55] And so the consultant,
[16:56] sat with the pastor,
[16:57] and he asked that,
[16:58] the people in the community,
[17:00] so for us to reach out to them,
[17:03] for them to be part of this church,
[17:05] we have to know them,
[17:06] and do some demographics,
[17:07] and know them a little bit more.
[17:09] And he asked the pastor,
[17:10] the first question,
[17:11] what does in the community,
[17:12] your church is,
[17:13] he said,
[17:14] what is their biggest problem,
[17:15] the biggest problem,
[17:16] of the people in the community?
[17:18] The pastor said,
[17:18] that's an easy question.
[17:20] I just know it.
[17:21] He said,
[17:21] yes,
[17:21] what is it?
[17:22] He said,
[17:22] they don't know God.
[17:24] They don't know God.
[17:26] That's their biggest problem.
[17:27] That's good.
[17:28] The consultant,
[17:29] not that,
[17:30] they asked his talk,
[17:30] he said,
[17:30] okay,
[17:31] then I want you to know,
[17:32] the people in the church,
[17:34] who are currently in the church,
[17:35] what is their biggest problem?
[17:37] What's the biggest problem,
[17:39] of the people in the church?
[17:40] Because,
[17:40] once you know their problem,
[17:42] you start addressing it.
[17:43] You know their problem,
[17:44] that you cannot stress them,
[17:45] other than that,
[17:45] if you don't deal with the ones here,
[17:47] when they come in,
[17:48] it becomes,
[17:49] so you must know the problems here,
[17:50] know the problems there,
[17:51] the solution.
[17:52] So he asked,
[17:52] what is the biggest problem,
[17:53] of the people in the church,
[17:55] currently?
[17:55] He said,
[17:56] that's easy.
[17:57] That's even so easy.
[17:59] He said,
[18:00] okay,
[18:00] what is it?
[18:00] He said,
[18:01] they don't know God.
[18:05] They don't know God.
[18:07] We don't know him,
[18:09] enough.
[18:12] In Jeremiah chapter 9,
[18:14] verse 23,
[18:15] he said,
[18:15] if you are going to boast,
[18:16] don't boast about your riches,
[18:18] your beauty,
[18:19] your education,
[18:20] where you live,
[18:20] your status,
[18:21] what you wear.
[18:22] He said,
[18:22] don't boast,
[18:23] it's there.
[18:24] This is what God,
[18:25] he said,
[18:25] that says the Lord,
[18:27] that says the Lord,
[18:28] this is what God is saying.
[18:30] Okay,
[18:31] that says the Lord,
[18:32] let not the wise man,
[18:34] glory in his wisdom,
[18:35] let not the mighty man,
[18:37] glory in his might,
[18:38] nor let the rich man,
[18:40] glory in his riches.
[18:42] He said,
[18:42] verse 24,
[18:43] if anyone,
[18:44] but let him that glory,
[18:45] glory in this,
[18:47] that he understands,
[18:49] and knows,
[18:51] that I am the Lord,
[18:54] exercising loving kindness,
[18:57] judgment,
[18:58] and righteousness in the earth,
[19:01] for in this,
[19:03] I delight,
[19:03] says the Lord.
[19:04] If you're going to boast,
[19:07] it should be about how much you know what.
[19:10] Jesus said,
[19:11] who do men say I am?
[19:13] Who do you say I am?
[19:15] And then,
[19:16] Peter said,
[19:17] you are the son of God,
[19:18] the flesh and blood has no reveal.
[19:19] Ah,
[19:19] Baba my father.
[19:21] To know Christ,
[19:23] the revelation of Christ you have,
[19:25] it must be given.
[19:27] It's always given.
[19:28] Revelation of Jesus is given.
[19:33] It's not an achievement.
[19:38] It's not an acquisition.
[19:40] You acquired it.
[19:41] It was given.
[19:42] Paul said,
[19:47] in Ephesians chapter 3,
[19:51] I have been made
[19:52] a preacher,
[19:54] verse 9,
[19:56] to this end,
[19:56] that I might make all men,
[19:58] to make all men,
[20:00] this is so sweet,
[20:02] of which I became a minister,
[20:05] according to the gift of the grace of God,
[20:07] given to me,
[20:08] by the effectual,
[20:09] I spoke about verse 9 now.
[20:12] And to make all men see,
[20:16] what is the fellowship of the mystery?
[20:20] So that's why I'm called.
[20:21] And I've been given all this grace,
[20:23] to make all men see.
[20:28] That's the best way to be a blessing to people.
[20:32] To make them see the workings of God through Christ.
[20:36] Well,
[20:36] this is just,
[20:38] was burning in my heart,
[20:41] as I stood there,
[20:42] I felt God is raising some people.
[20:44] Amen.
[20:46] And if God is raising you,
[20:49] to champion something,
[20:51] He will give you a revelation of Jesus.
[20:54] That's where it starts from.
[20:56] It's up on this rock.
[20:58] So He will give you a revelation of Jesus.
[21:00] The age-old question,
[21:04] who is Jesus?
[21:07] Followed by,
[21:08] what do I do with Jesus?
[21:12] Point your smile,
[21:12] He asks the people.
[21:18] He said,
[21:19] get rid of,
[21:20] who should I give you?
[21:21] He said,
[21:21] give us Barabbas.
[21:23] He said,
[21:24] so what do I do with this Jesus?
[21:26] He says,
[21:26] what do I do with him?
[21:29] What do I do with this man?
[21:30] He said,
[21:30] I'll just kill him.
[21:33] The pilot said,
[21:35] who do you want me to release?
[21:37] He said,
[21:38] Barabbas.
[21:39] He said,
[21:39] Barabbas of Jesus.
[21:40] What did they say?
[21:41] And he asked them,
[21:42] what do I do with Jesus?
[21:44] And then they said,
[21:45] crucify him.
[21:46] That's one of the biggest questions in life.
[21:49] What then shall I do with Jesus,
[21:51] who is called Christ?
[21:52] Who is Jesus?
[21:55] And what do I do with Jesus?
[22:00] Greatest questions in life.
[22:02] Well,
[22:03] briefly,
[22:04] let's get into Ephesians.
[22:06] Finally,
[22:07] my brethren,
[22:08] be strong in the Lord
[22:09] and in the power of his might.
[22:10] Put on the whole armor of God
[22:12] that he may be able to stand
[22:13] against the wiles of the devil.
[22:16] For we wrestle not against flesh,
[22:18] not against flesh and blood,
[22:21] but against principalities,
[22:22] against powers,
[22:24] against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
[22:26] against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[22:29] Wherefore,
[22:30] take on to you the whole armor of God
[22:32] that he may be able to withstand in the evil day
[22:36] and having done all to stand.
[22:39] Stand,
[22:39] therefore,
[22:40] having your loins get about with truth
[22:44] and having on the breastplate of righteousness
[22:47] and your feet shot
[22:49] with the preparation of the gospel of peace.
[22:52] Above all,
[22:53] taking the shield of faith,
[22:56] wherewith you may,
[22:58] you shall be able
[22:59] to quench all the fiery darts
[23:02] of the wicked one,
[23:03] of the wicked.
[23:04] Amen.
[23:05] Amen.
[23:06] So,
[23:07] last week we spoke about
[23:08] the
[23:09] belt of truth.
[23:13] And I explained that
[23:14] the word of God
[23:15] is what keeps
[23:16] your clothes,
[23:18] spiritual garments
[23:19] or armor
[23:20] intact.
[23:22] And then,
[23:24] we went on the breastplate
[23:25] of righteousness.
[23:28] Ephesians chapter 4,
[23:29] verse 24.
[23:31] Ephesians chapter 4,
[23:33] verse 24,
[23:34] there's a direct correlation
[23:35] between the righteousness
[23:37] and truth.
[23:39] It says that,
[23:40] and that he put on the new man
[23:42] which was created
[23:44] according to God
[23:46] in true righteousness
[23:48] and in holiness.
[23:50] Right.
[23:50] So,
[23:51] this new man
[23:52] is created in true righteousness
[23:54] and your inner man
[23:56] is created in true righteousness
[23:57] and in holiness.
[23:59] And he said,
[23:59] now,
[24:00] put on
[24:01] the breastplate
[24:04] of righteousness.
[24:05] And I explained
[24:06] that righteousness
[24:07] has a lot
[24:08] to,
[24:08] when we talk about righteousness,
[24:10] it has a lot
[24:10] to do with your conscience.
[24:13] Now,
[24:14] permit me to explain
[24:15] it a little bit more
[24:16] because it says
[24:18] the breastplate
[24:19] of righteousness.
[24:21] Where does
[24:21] breastplate
[24:22] cover?
[24:24] Your chest region.
[24:26] What is the most
[24:26] vital organ
[24:28] around your chest region?
[24:30] Your heart.
[24:32] Two most sensitive
[24:34] organs in your body,
[24:36] your heart
[24:36] and your brain.
[24:37] heart.
[24:38] They are crucial.
[24:41] The other ones
[24:42] you find.
[24:43] That's why
[24:44] he tells him
[24:44] that when it's
[24:45] Valentine's Day,
[24:46] you see red hearts.
[24:47] Red,
[24:47] red,
[24:47] red,
[24:48] red,
[24:48] red,
[24:48] red.
[24:48] All those
[24:49] white,
[24:49] blue hearts.
[24:50] It's not
[24:50] proper hearts.
[24:51] because the heart
[24:57] forms blood
[24:58] and it's red.
[24:59] The blood
[25:00] is always red.
[25:01] Anyway,
[25:02] so the heart
[25:03] is the most
[25:04] vital and sensitive
[25:05] organ
[25:06] in your torso
[25:07] region.
[25:09] And so,
[25:09] your breastplate
[25:10] is meant to cover
[25:11] your chest region,
[25:13] especially your heart.
[25:14] And when the Bible
[25:15] talks about heart,
[25:15] the center of your heart
[25:17] is your conscience.
[25:19] So,
[25:20] righteousness to protect
[25:21] and defend your conscience.
[25:24] Do you understand that?
[25:25] So,
[25:25] the heart of man
[25:26] is the seat of his conscience.
[25:29] When,
[25:30] in Proverbs chapter 4,
[25:33] verse 23,
[25:35] when it says,
[25:36] guard your heart
[25:37] with all diligence.
[25:40] Why?
[25:40] Because out of it
[25:41] are the issues.
[25:42] Your decisions,
[25:43] everything you are doing
[25:44] is coming from your heart.
[25:45] that's the seat
[25:45] of your conscience.
[25:47] Broken heart is not good.
[25:50] Broken heart is not good.
[25:53] You are about to have some
[25:54] one way or the other
[25:55] sometimes,
[25:56] depending on who
[25:57] you are dating.
[25:59] Yeah.
[26:00] Some people are good,
[26:01] insensitive
[26:02] about other people's feelings.
[26:05] Sometimes,
[26:06] the way they go about it
[26:07] is more hurtful
[26:08] than what they have done.
[26:10] What they have done
[26:11] is not that bad.
[26:13] But the way they did it,
[26:14] you are a very mean person.
[26:17] Some people are not mean.
[26:18] They are cruel.
[26:20] Yes.
[26:21] They are Hitler-like.
[26:25] And you,
[26:26] you will be warning you,
[26:27] because of him,
[26:27] you've not been coming to church.
[26:29] You will see what he will do to you.
[26:31] He doesn't have feelings
[26:32] for people's pain.
[26:37] Broken heart.
[26:38] you will have a smashed heart.
[26:40] Yeah.
[26:40] Yeah.
[26:41] Wow.
[26:41] So,
[26:42] when the anointing,
[26:43] when the anointing comes,
[26:47] he has anointed me
[26:48] to preach the gospel
[26:49] to the poor,
[26:50] to heal
[26:52] the broken hearted.
[26:54] Yeah.
[26:56] Yes.
[26:56] Yes.
[26:57] Yes.
[26:57] Yes.
[26:59] Yes.
[27:00] The anointing
[27:01] is for
[27:02] not only preaching
[27:04] the gospel
[27:05] to the poor,
[27:08] he has sent me
[27:09] to heal
[27:11] the broken hearted.
[27:12] How many of you know
[27:13] people in UK
[27:15] need this kind of gospel?
[27:16] Yes.
[27:16] Yes.
[27:17] Yes.
[27:17] Yes.
[27:19] Maybe your auntie
[27:20] needs to come to church
[27:22] to hear the gospel
[27:23] so that her broken heartedness
[27:26] will be healed
[27:26] because
[27:26] the way she hates
[27:28] her baby father,
[27:29] a woman's hatred
[27:32] for someone
[27:34] who has been
[27:35] intimate with her
[27:36] and is no more available,
[27:38] it can be very deep.
[27:40] If you don't have Christ
[27:41] and you are not,
[27:43] you don't have
[27:43] a certain level
[27:44] of restraint,
[27:45] you'll be very
[27:46] callous,
[27:47] mean,
[27:48] and you'll be like
[27:48] a Jezebel.
[27:50] Yeah.
[27:51] Because the hate
[27:52] you would never,
[27:53] and unfortunately,
[27:54] there are some of us here,
[27:57] when you are
[27:58] hate,
[28:00] you don't know
[28:01] how to let go.
[28:03] You will never let go.
[28:05] You can be smiling,
[28:07] but even if 20 years,
[28:09] you'll revenge.
[28:11] Yes.
[28:11] You'll revenge.
[28:13] Yes.
[28:13] Some people are like that.
[28:14] They can lie low
[28:15] for a long time.
[28:16] You can,
[28:17] they can invite you
[28:18] to their parties,
[28:19] yet they hate you,
[28:19] they want to kill you.
[28:21] Yeah.
[28:23] Yeah.
[28:24] Human beings are different.
[28:25] Different shapes.
[28:27] Maybe you are like that.
[28:28] That's why
[28:30] it's always important
[28:31] to be careful
[28:32] when you are stepping
[28:33] into a relationship.
[28:35] Because people
[28:36] who are already in it
[28:36] are having
[28:37] all kinds of regrets.
[28:42] I don't like
[28:42] this laughter at all.
[28:47] All kinds of,
[28:47] yeah.
[28:49] She knows what
[28:49] I'm talking about
[28:50] because she has
[28:50] a lot of friends
[28:51] who are close
[28:53] to murder.
[28:56] Murdering.
[28:56] Yeah.
[28:56] And you can understand.
[29:04] You can understand
[29:04] because
[29:05] this man,
[29:07] how could you
[29:08] do this to me?
[29:10] Why do you think
[29:11] your mom doesn't want you
[29:11] to see your father?
[29:14] It's because
[29:15] of a broken heart.
[29:17] She hates your father
[29:18] to the core.
[29:21] She hates your father.
[29:22] If it means
[29:23] hitting him back
[29:25] even if you
[29:26] will be a collateral damage,
[29:28] she will do it.
[29:30] That's why
[29:31] she's using you
[29:32] as a human shield.
[29:35] Your dad wanted
[29:35] to meet you.
[29:36] She said,
[29:36] I have a dead body.
[29:38] She'll be dying.
[29:40] Because people,
[29:41] bitterness
[29:41] is killing people.
[29:44] Bitterness.
[29:45] Unforgiveness
[29:45] is like drinking poison
[29:46] and expecting
[29:47] your enemy to die.
[29:47] One of the most
[29:50] poisonous things
[29:51] is bitterness.
[29:53] Many,
[29:54] it gives cancer
[29:55] faster.
[29:57] Yeah.
[29:58] Some cancer
[29:59] patients,
[30:01] when you trace
[30:01] in their life,
[30:02] they have been
[30:03] very bitter
[30:03] about somebody.
[30:07] Let's go back
[30:08] to Ephesians 6.
[30:08] Please sit down.
[30:09] Broken hearts.
[30:17] So,
[30:18] you have to
[30:18] guard your heart.
[30:20] The breastplate
[30:21] of righteousness.
[30:23] What does that mean?
[30:24] If you do it rightly,
[30:26] you will hardly
[30:27] be broken
[30:29] in your heart.
[30:31] For your heart
[30:31] to be guarded.
[30:33] Take that.
[30:34] So,
[30:35] breastplate
[30:35] of righteousness.
[30:36] Then,
[30:37] then verse 15
[30:38] says that
[30:38] ow!
[30:40] It's so nice.
[30:43] Having your
[30:44] feet,
[30:46] having shot
[30:47] your feet
[30:48] with the
[30:49] preparation
[30:51] of the
[30:51] gospel
[30:52] of peace.
[30:55] Ah,
[30:55] that's so nice.
[30:56] It's so loaded.
[31:00] Having shot
[31:01] your feet,
[31:01] what does that mean?
[31:02] You have
[31:02] shoved.
[31:04] Okay.
[31:05] So,
[31:06] you shoe
[31:06] your feet.
[31:07] So,
[31:08] the way
[31:08] they put it,
[31:09] it comes
[31:10] across like
[31:11] something different.
[31:13] shot your feet
[31:14] means you have
[31:15] shoved.
[31:15] You have put
[31:16] on a shoe.
[31:18] Do you understand
[31:18] that?
[31:19] Yeah.
[31:20] Okay.
[31:21] And then,
[31:22] the AUV says,
[31:23] as shoes
[31:24] for your feet.
[31:25] Did you see that?
[31:26] King James
[31:26] has a funny way
[31:27] of putting it.
[31:29] As shoes
[31:30] for your feet.
[31:32] Your feet
[31:33] short.
[31:33] Hey.
[31:35] Our New King James.
[31:39] New King James,
[31:40] please.
[31:41] Having shot,
[31:42] same shot.
[31:44] New Living Translation.
[31:48] For shoes,
[31:50] put on the piece
[31:51] that comes
[31:51] from the good news.
[31:56] I kind of,
[31:57] I like that.
[31:59] It makes the points
[32:01] a bit more clear here.
[32:02] So,
[32:05] as the part
[32:06] of your armor,
[32:08] the shoe
[32:08] you need
[32:09] is peace.
[32:17] Peace
[32:18] that comes
[32:19] from the gospel.
[32:21] Here,
[32:21] the peace
[32:23] that comes
[32:24] from the gospel.
[32:27] So,
[32:28] peace
[32:28] is something
[32:29] that you need.
[32:31] Truth,
[32:32] begets
[32:33] righteousness.
[32:34] If you give yourself
[32:35] to the truth,
[32:36] you end up
[32:37] walking in righteousness.
[32:38] If you walk
[32:39] in righteousness,
[32:40] you will be peaceful.
[32:44] Is someone
[32:44] getting what I'm saying?
[32:47] Let me show you
[32:48] some scriptures.
[32:54] Thank you,
[32:55] Jesus.
[32:55] Thank you,
[32:55] God is helping
[32:56] Jesus.
[33:01] us all.
[33:08] In Isaiah chapter 32,
[33:10] verse 17,
[33:12] let's see what the scripture says.
[33:15] Isaiah 32,
[33:16] 17.
[33:21] Let's all read out loud.
[33:22] Let's go.
[33:23] One more time.
[33:26] One more time.
[33:29] One more time.
[33:32] You see,
[33:33] the Ephesians chapter 4,
[33:34] verse 23
[33:35] and 24.
[33:37] 23 says,
[33:38] all right,
[33:38] let's start from 22.
[33:46] What does 21 say?
[33:47] Yeah,
[33:51] that's the one I'm looking for.
[33:53] So,
[33:54] it says that
[33:54] if indeed
[33:56] you have heard
[33:56] him
[33:57] and have been
[33:59] taught
[33:59] by Christ,
[34:02] as the
[34:02] truth
[34:03] is in Christ,
[34:06] column,
[34:08] then he begins
[34:09] to mention
[34:09] that this is what
[34:11] you have been taught.
[34:12] Okay,
[34:12] the next verse,
[34:14] continuation of what
[34:15] you have been taught.
[34:16] But then the verse 24,
[34:19] the truth is in Christ
[34:20] and that you put on
[34:22] the new man
[34:22] which is created
[34:23] according to God
[34:24] in true righteousness.
[34:27] So,
[34:27] when you
[34:28] walk in the truth,
[34:31] you invariably
[34:32] !
[34:32] end up
[34:33] with righteousness.
[34:35] When you stay
[34:36] in righteousness,
[34:38] there is peace
[34:39] that comes
[34:40] with righteousness.
[34:41] righteousness.
[34:43] Hey,
[34:43] someone getting it?
[34:46] In Hebrews
[34:46] chapter 12
[34:47] verse 11,
[34:50] Hebrews chapter
[34:51] 12,
[34:51] let us
[34:52] therefore be diligent
[34:53] to enter
[34:54] 12 verse 11,
[34:56] sorry,
[34:56] I said 12.
[34:57] Hebrews 12
[34:58] verse 11,
[35:00] talking about
[35:01] chastisement
[35:02] and then
[35:02] no chastening
[35:04] seems
[35:06] to be
[35:06] joyful
[35:07] for the present.
[35:08] Do you know
[35:08] what that means?
[35:08] Do you know
[35:10] what that means?
[35:12] Chastening.
[35:12] Do you know
[35:12] what chastening
[35:13] means?
[35:14] Disciplining.
[35:15] All right.
[35:16] King James,
[35:17] that was also
[35:18] using chastening?
[35:20] Chastening.
[35:20] Okay,
[35:20] then NIV,
[35:22] you use discipline.
[35:23] NIV,
[35:24] no discipline
[35:25] seems pleasant
[35:26] at the time.
[35:28] But,
[35:28] how many of you
[35:29] understand it?
[35:29] When you are
[35:30] being disciplined,
[35:31] that's why
[35:31] you used to
[35:32] fight with mom.
[35:33] No,
[35:33] no,
[35:34] no.
[35:34] Some of you,
[35:36] now that you
[35:37] are growing,
[35:37] you realize
[35:38] that your mom
[35:38] really helped you
[35:39] by stopping you
[35:40] from attending
[35:41] those stupid parties.
[35:44] Even though
[35:44] you cried
[35:45] in your head
[35:45] of,
[35:45] no,
[35:46] I won't go there.
[35:47] You are not
[35:48] going anywhere.
[35:49] You are not
[35:50] going anywhere.
[35:50] You can come,
[35:51] she can come
[35:51] to your friend's
[35:52] house and
[35:53] create a scene.
[35:54] Come on,
[35:54] oh yeah,
[35:54] let's go home.
[35:59] And embarrass you
[36:00] before your friends.
[36:02] She doesn't care.
[36:03] she's disciplining
[36:04] you.
[36:06] And when you
[36:06] go out,
[36:07] you don't come
[36:07] early,
[36:08] she will lock
[36:08] the door.
[36:10] Yeah,
[36:11] with a latch.
[36:13] No discipline
[36:14] seems pleasant.
[36:16] Is that true?
[36:17] It doesn't seem
[36:18] pleasant.
[36:19] Dad is a
[36:20] wild man.
[36:22] You fill one
[36:23] paper and
[36:24] your dad is
[36:24] on you.
[36:26] Like you have
[36:27] killed the
[36:28] president.
[36:30] It's just one
[36:30] paper,
[36:30] one paper.
[36:31] You know what
[36:31] that means?
[36:33] I keep
[36:34] telling you,
[36:35] don't leave
[36:35] that heating
[36:35] on.
[36:38] Turn off
[36:39] the lights.
[36:39] Turn off
[36:40] the lights.
[36:42] No
[36:43] discipline
[36:44] seems
[36:45] nice.
[36:47] So,
[36:48] the difference
[36:49] between the
[36:50] top schools
[36:51] and the
[36:52] failing schools
[36:53] is the
[36:54] application of
[36:55] discipline.
[36:56] education.
[36:57] When someone
[36:57] says,
[36:58] I graduate
[36:59] from Oxford,
[37:02] it's because
[37:03] it commands
[37:04] a certain
[37:05] level of
[37:05] respect,
[37:06] not because
[37:06] the person
[37:07] is just
[37:07] academically
[37:07] good,
[37:09] but the
[37:10] rigor,
[37:11] the level
[37:11] of discipline
[37:13] they put you
[37:14] under to
[37:15] even have a
[37:16] certain level
[37:16] of marks.
[37:17] It's way
[37:18] high.
[37:19] The least
[37:20] mark you get
[37:21] there,
[37:21] you might
[37:21] be A,
[37:22] A,
[37:22] some
[37:24] another
[37:25] university.
[37:27] So,
[37:28] top universities,
[37:30] their regime
[37:31] is very
[37:31] strict.
[37:32] Top
[37:33] schools,
[37:34] that's why
[37:34] many primary
[37:35] schools,
[37:36] private schools
[37:36] are kind
[37:38] of good.
[37:39] If you
[37:40] are going
[37:40] to grammar
[37:40] school,
[37:41] what you
[37:41] go through
[37:41] to enter
[37:42] that grammar
[37:42] school?
[37:44] Some
[37:45] good schools,
[37:46] the schools
[37:47] that are doing
[37:47] very well.
[37:48] Usually,
[37:49] the head
[37:50] teachers are
[37:50] very strict.
[37:52] Very strict.
[37:52] If you make one, if you are late ones,
[37:55] the way they will punish you if you don't submit early.
[37:57] Some place where you come, if you don't come,
[38:00] no one will even punish you.
[38:04] Children, the reason why you can get a job in the city
[38:10] with a bank, top law firms, after you leave the army,
[38:15] is because of the, not just because of patriotism,
[38:18] but the discipline the army gives you.
[38:23] Discipline!
[38:25] If you grow up in an environment of looseness, permissiveness,
[38:29] that lacks discipline, you have been hurt.
[38:33] Your future has been capped.
[38:37] When someone is well-educated,
[38:40] if someone has a doctorate degree,
[38:45] say from Birmingham University,
[38:47] he can easily get a job in St. Thomas Hospital.
[38:52] Meanwhile, he didn't study medicine.
[38:56] He maybe studied accounting or something else.
[38:59] They can give me a job because the discipline
[39:02] this person has gone through to have this level,
[39:05] anywhere they apply themselves, it's easy to work.
[39:07] That's why the more well-educated you are,
[39:14] it's a reflection of how your mind has been disciplined
[39:16] or you have been given.
[39:18] People who have studied fire,
[39:20] they are able to sit up late to read
[39:23] and get things achieved.
[39:25] People who have been studied fire,
[39:26] they sleep a lot.
[39:30] Sleep a lot.
[39:33] Sleep a lot.
[39:33] And sometimes they don't even stay long in their job.
[39:38] They are sacking you because of your incompetence,
[39:42] not because of racism and discrimination.
[39:46] People, there's a difference between incompetence and racism.
[39:49] Many people are super incompetent.
[39:52] So when you even try to make them leaders in church,
[39:55] even though they have a hat for Jesus,
[39:58] I will do anything for you.
[40:01] We give you your, you are incompetent.
[40:04] He said, character is like a tail.
[40:07] He said, when you are growing, it's small.
[40:10] You have to manage to cut it.
[40:12] Deal with it.
[40:13] If you don't cut it, as you grow it,
[40:15] it will be growing with you.
[40:16] One day you're a big man wearing shoes,
[40:18] but then every time you have to keep,
[40:20] you have to keep holding your tail in between your legs
[40:23] because the thing has grown with you now.
[40:26] Even though you are a big person,
[40:27] you have this big tail,
[40:28] you have to hide from everybody.
[40:33] Is it not true?
[40:35] Yes.
[40:36] Some of you, your tail,
[40:37] you can't even sit still
[40:38] because the tail is troubling you.
[40:42] It's big tail.
[40:44] Bigger than ox tail.
[40:46] Most of us here,
[40:53] if they ask you what's your biggest problem,
[40:55] I know you will say discipline.
[40:59] Lack of discipline.
[41:01] That's why you are always late.
[41:07] Always.
[41:07] That's why you don't have a good job.
[41:09] Always late.
[41:11] Is it carrying home too close?
[41:12] It's coming home.
[41:13] That's how I do that.
[41:15] That's how I do that.
[41:20] You call me,
[41:21] someone asks you,
[41:22] I say I'm a preacher.
[41:25] My latest discovery is,
[41:27] actually I'm not just a preacher.
[41:29] I'm a bodybuilder.
[41:30] I don't lift weights.
[41:39] I lift people.
[41:41] My job is to build the body of Christ.
[41:45] I'm giving all my life to give.
[41:46] So the way I'm talking
[41:48] is not because I'm angry.
[41:50] Angry people don't laugh the way I laugh.
[41:53] Don't enjoy what they are saying.
[41:54] I'm saying this is because
[41:56] I have to provoke a giant in you.
[41:59] You don't have a job.
[42:01] Find a job at home at least.
[42:05] Train yourself to work at home.
[42:07] Train yourself.
[42:09] Tell mom,
[42:10] when you finish cooking,
[42:11] leave everything for me.
[42:13] At your age,
[42:14] your mom still has to put the beans out.
[42:16] And you're saying,
[42:19] I want to be a big evangelist.
[42:21] You're lying.
[42:25] At your age,
[42:26] your mom has to put the beans out.
[42:30] One day it will be you out.
[42:37] Sounds,
[42:38] that's what it is.
[42:39] No discipline seems pleasant.
[42:43] At the time,
[42:44] that's what's happening to you.
[42:45] But I don't care how you feel
[42:48] because in future,
[42:49] you will thank God for my life.
[42:51] Thank God for my life.
[42:53] I am not interested in hurting you.
[42:55] I'm interested in helping you.
[42:59] Just in case you get hurt.
[43:01] Sometimes when you are treating your patients,
[43:03] they will be hurt.
[43:05] Right?
[43:06] Sometimes they will be hurt
[43:07] because you have to catch them.
[43:09] You are hurting them.
[43:11] Catch them
[43:11] so that you can pull out that problem,
[43:14] that tumor.
[43:14] You have to catch them.
[43:15] When you finish,
[43:16] you stitch them up.
[43:18] And then,
[43:19] afterwards,
[43:19] they heal.
[43:21] They're working okay.
[43:22] Now,
[43:23] the tumor is gone
[43:23] because they met a doctor.
[43:26] Yes!
[43:28] At the time of the surgery,
[43:30] it felt like you are being hurt.
[43:32] But,
[43:33] six weeks later,
[43:35] you're fine.
[43:35] You're fine.
[43:35] a pastor who cannot tell you the raw truth
[43:41] is robbing you of your greatness.
[43:47] All right.
[43:47] Back to the text.
[43:49] No discipline,
[43:51] but,
[43:53] but,
[43:55] but,
[43:56] faithful.
[43:56] Faithful.
[43:57] So,
[43:58] you see,
[43:58] you understand where it's going.
[44:00] It's not about you.
[44:01] It's just about the beauty of your future.
[44:04] Sometimes,
[44:04] some words need to be said
[44:05] with all humility and respect.
[44:08] Being confronted
[44:09] with what you have to do
[44:11] is not a sign
[44:11] that you are being disrespected.
[44:15] Redefine disrespect,
[44:16] please.
[44:16] You are not being disrespected.
[44:19] You are,
[44:20] it's rude awakening.
[44:21] Just wake up from your sleep
[44:23] and slumber.
[44:24] God,
[44:25] you are heading towards collision,
[44:26] but you haven't seen it.
[44:28] Yes,
[44:29] we are just giving you warning,
[44:31] alarm.
[44:32] Danger ahead,
[44:33] danger ahead,
[44:33] danger ahead,
[44:34] danger.
[44:34] Before,
[44:35] you now become a project
[44:36] for management.
[44:38] No discipline
[44:39] seems pleasant
[44:41] for that time,
[44:43] at that time,
[44:44] but painful.
[44:45] Later on,
[44:45] however,
[44:46] it produces a harvest of...
[44:52] You see how righteousness
[44:53] is linked to peace?
[44:55] I'm back on my track now.
[44:57] It produces a harvest.
[44:59] Say harvest.
[45:00] Harvest.
[45:01] What produces a harvest?
[45:03] Discipline.
[45:05] Discipline.
[45:07] Some of you
[45:08] who have finished your education,
[45:10] your studies,
[45:10] and your course,
[45:11] remember when you were getting closer
[45:13] to your final exams,
[45:15] what you went through?
[45:15] It was hard.
[45:18] Very hard.
[45:20] Very hard.
[45:21] But it produces a harvest.
[45:25] That's why I don't just celebrate
[45:27] people who don't like studying,
[45:29] who don't like studying,
[45:30] or who don't prepare
[45:31] for their exam.
[45:33] I don't celebrate you.
[45:34] I can't celebrate you.
[45:36] Because it tells me
[45:37] you are not smart.
[45:39] Because you knew
[45:40] the exam was coming,
[45:42] didn't you?
[45:42] It was coming.
[45:45] The exam was coming.
[45:46] You didn't prepare for it.
[45:47] Why are you failing?
[45:50] Master, you don't understand.
[45:51] Yes, I won't.
[45:55] Because I...
[45:56] I believe in you too much
[45:59] to understand your failure.
[46:00] I believe in you too much.
[46:05] Too much.
[46:06] There's too much in you.
[46:07] You are such a great germ
[46:10] and giant.
[46:14] Undiscovered.
[46:16] The potential is astounding.
[46:20] Astounding potentials.
[46:22] But if we are not careful,
[46:24] we will oversee
[46:25] the demise of greatness.
[46:27] So we will not do that.
[46:29] We will harass you.
[46:30] We will kick you.
[46:31] We will beat you.
[46:35] We will push you.
[46:37] We will give you
[46:38] sleepless nights
[46:39] until you walk
[46:40] into your destiny.
[46:43] And giants like you
[46:44] cannot be left sleeping.
[46:47] So we are working
[46:48] with your family.
[46:51] We are working
[46:51] with your family.
[46:52] Your mother,
[46:52] we are working with her.
[46:53] Your dad,
[46:54] we are working with him.
[46:56] So you can be great.
[46:59] Tell mom,
[46:59] church is not taking me
[47:00] away from you.
[47:01] They are actually
[47:01] working with you.
[47:05] Hallelujah.
[47:06] From this time forward,
[47:07] every young man
[47:09] who lives with
[47:10] his mother
[47:13] or father
[47:14] or parents
[47:15] must make sure
[47:17] you always
[47:18] empty the bin.
[47:24] Don't let
[47:25] any lady
[47:26] in your house
[47:27] do it.
[47:27] do not let
[47:31] any lady
[47:31] in your house
[47:32] take the bin
[47:33] and take in it.
[47:34] No,
[47:34] it's not nice
[47:35] of you.
[47:38] Some of you,
[47:38] you haven't recovered
[47:39] from your days
[47:41] outside of Christ.
[47:43] But when you were
[47:43] outside of Christ,
[47:44] you were such a rough person.
[47:46] So a lot of things
[47:47] you won't do
[47:47] and no one can say anything.
[47:48] Now you are in Christ.
[47:49] You are still taking
[47:50] the liberties
[47:51] of your nasty past
[47:53] because they don't
[47:55] even expect
[47:56] that of you.
[47:56] Don't wait for them
[47:57] to expect.
[47:58] Show them how
[47:58] a good man
[47:59] looks like.
[48:01] Prepare
[48:01] to learn
[48:02] how to live
[48:03] with a woman
[48:03] and take
[48:06] responsibility
[48:06] for women.
[48:08] Prepare!
[48:09] Learn it!
[48:11] How you don't
[48:12] make a woman
[48:12] sad
[48:13] for living
[48:14] with you.
[48:14] Am I preaching
[48:19] at all?
[48:20] Oh yes!
[48:24] No discipline
[48:25] is pleasant.
[48:26] Righteousness
[48:27] produces peace.
[48:27] Okay,
[48:28] let's go to the text
[48:28] so I can't stop it.
[48:29] So truth
[48:30] produces,
[48:33] when you walk
[48:34] in truth,
[48:35] the truth of Christ,
[48:36] you end up
[48:37] being righteous.
[48:39] And when you are
[48:39] in righteousness,
[48:40] peace.
[48:41] Now it says
[48:41] that your feet
[48:43] should,
[48:44] with the
[48:45] preparation
[48:46] of the gospel.
[48:49] You prepared
[48:49] the gospel.
[48:50] Gospel is
[48:51] an intrinsic
[48:52] part
[48:53] of your warfare.
[48:55] So you are
[48:56] always prepared
[48:57] with understanding
[48:58] of the gospel.
[49:00] To preach it
[49:00] is the gospel
[49:03] that brings
[49:04] peace into
[49:04] lives of people.
[49:06] It's a gospel
[49:06] of peace.
[49:09] In Romans
[49:10] chapter 10
[49:11] verse 15,
[49:12] he said,
[49:13] how beautiful
[49:14] are the feet.
[49:15] he says that how beautiful are the feet
[49:22] you see that there is the feet now these shoes that the bible says you should shoe yourself with
[49:33] you are not shoeing wearing these shoes to walk away to run you are not wearing these shoes to
[49:42] run a course you are wearing these shoes to fight a battle it's their combat shoes
