[0:00] Hallelujah! We thank God you've tuned into this message by David Entry at Karis Church.
[0:06] No hand can help you with the fulfillment of your destiny but the Word of God.
[0:11] May God's hand align you further into your destiny through this word.
[0:15] Somebody say the glorious gospel.
[0:17] Glorious gospel.
[0:19] Please say it again.
[0:20] Glorious gospel.
[0:23] Two places in the New Testament where this phrase occurs.
[0:28] The first one, one of them is 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 11.
[0:34] And I actually like the 1 Timothy chapter 1 verse 11 bit because he adds something extra.
[0:41] He says that according to the glorious gospel, then he says the blessed God.
[0:47] Ah! Ephesians chapter 1 verse 3, blessed be God.
[0:52] 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 3, blessed be God.
[0:56] He said according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God.
[1:02] God be blessed forever.
[1:04] He said according to the glory.
[1:06] So you see this phrase is from the Bible.
[1:10] The other time I was teaching and I said that it is not enough for a pastor to be a caretaker of souls.
[1:18] Or a caregiver.
[1:20] We give care.
[1:22] We make sure your soul is fine.
[1:23] Like Acts chapter 4 verse 22, they were strengthening the souls of the disciples.
[1:30] So we take care of souls.
[1:32] We give care to souls.
[1:34] But it is not enough for an effective and a good pastor to be a caregiver for souls.
[1:42] He must also be a caretaker of wares.
[1:45] Wares.
[1:47] There are some wares that are getting lost.
[1:50] We have to rescue them.
[1:51] There are some wares that are being hijacked.
[1:53] We have to rescue them.
[1:55] There are some wares that are being eclipsed.
[1:57] We have to reveal them.
[1:58] Bring them into the limelight of Christianity.
[2:01] Because if some wares are allowed to get missing, our gospel will be diluted.
[2:06] There are some wares that they don't change.
[2:12] That's my little challenge when it comes to some of the translations.
[2:17] Because some of the translations help to misplace or to get those wares lost.
[2:24] Words like justification.
[2:27] Words like propitiation.
[2:29] Words like redemption.
[2:31] Words like forgiveness.
[2:33] Words like atonement.
[2:35] Words like reconciliation.
[2:39] Words like righteousness.
[2:41] And the big one, the gospel.
[2:45] The gospel.
[2:47] These words must always be part of our conversations.
[2:53] Because they form the bedrock of the meaning of what we have come into.
[3:02] Very important.
[3:03] Words like mercy.
[3:04] Words like grace.
[3:06] Words like truth.
[3:08] These words must be part of the vocabulary of the church.
[3:12] Words like sacrifice.
[3:14] Words like service.
[3:16] Serving one another.
[3:18] Words like love.
[3:19] Words like hope.
[3:21] Words like joy.
[3:22] Words like peace.
[3:24] These words must be part of our conversations as Christians.
[3:29] Because these are biblical words.
[3:31] These are biblical words.
[3:33] That help to convey a biblical message.
[3:37] Or better still, help to reveal the mystery of godliness.
[3:43] Words.
[3:45] So, we see that it appears here.
[3:47] The glorious gospel of the blessed God.
[3:51] But this morning.
[3:53] It just seems like it's a coincidence.
[3:55] coincidence in every day for the past 10 years or more every day in charis we read a chapter
[4:03] also sometimes you look at the chapter and it's just 10 verses so that's so nice so most of us
[4:09] when we're about to read we look at where it's finishing first so that you cannot pause your time
[4:16] but today today's reading i'm thinking that it's like god has designed this camp
[4:24] already because today's reading has everything to do with the message of today's camp
[4:30] today's reading verse 4 2nd corinthians chapter 4 verse 4 it says that in whom the god of this
[4:39] world has blinded the minds of them which believe not less did you see it less that glorious gospel
[4:48] of christ my goodness less that glorious gospel of that's what we are talking about today
[4:56] and yesterday as i read second corinthians chapter 3 i saw some things that were popping up and they
[5:02] begin to reshape the message of today for me because i saw things i haven't seen in the past
[5:08] i've read it over and over and over and over but this time i saw some things that i didn't realize
[5:15] in the light of the glorious gospel and then today chapter 4 i read and i bump into that phrase the
[5:22] glorious gospel of christ these are the only two places it appears in the first one is glorious gospel
[5:28] of the blessed god but today's theme is buried is today's reading now it wasn't because i knew
[5:36] that that's the reading for the day i didn't know there are times how many of you are forgotten
[5:41] what are we reading today there are times i forget yesterday when i was about to read i was
[5:46] which where are we is it three or four because then i remember no the day before i read chapter 2
[5:52] 19 19 19 yeah you begin to calculate and what are we reading so yesterday i almost got confused after
[5:59] which text so it's not like i know what we are reading ahead of time but is it not interesting
[6:06] that what we are reading today feeds into what god has got to tell us today if i were you i would shout
[6:15] hallelujah so the glorious gospel of christ let's all say that together please say it again
[6:31] when we talk about the gospel paul said as i read a leon i'm not ashamed of the gospel of christ that means
[6:38] that there are times you will be unpopular trying to talk about the gospel now if paul said it in his
[6:49] days then you can imagine in our days this is time is is worse where people are attacked because of the
[6:58] message of christ in their mouth and paul said i am i'm not ashamed because to the jews is a stumbling block
[7:08] to the greeks is foolishness but to those of us who are called first corinthians chapter 1 verse 23
[7:15] but to those of us who are called but to them which are called both jews and greek christ the power of
[7:23] god and the wisdom of god he says verse 18 he says that that for the preaching of the cross is to them
[7:32] that perish foolishness so now watch this you are preaching the message to people who are not interested
[7:42] because what they are interested in is not what you are saying and yet you cannot change what you are
[7:50] saying because it's not your message the church cannot change our message whether it fits into the
[7:59] narrative of the day whether it's used the political climate whether it's used the social climate or not
[8:09] we can't change our message because the message is not for us in romans chapter 1 verse 1 it's a
[8:15] a poor a servant of jesus called to be an apostle separated unto what who's gospel who's gospel
[8:25] god owns the copyright
[8:30] it's god's gospel is the gospel of god it's not the it's his intellectual property it's not my gospel it's
[8:41] not our gospel when paul says my gospel he was trying to say i've personalized god's gospel now
[8:48] there's nothing to me but the gospel of god so it has become my gospel but my gospel is the gospel of
[8:55] god and it tells us very clearly what the gospel is about in the verse 2 he said the gospel is concerning
[9:02] which is promised before in verse 3 concerning his son jesus our lord so the gospel is about a person
[9:14] the gospel is about a person that's what makes the church the church is the content of the gospel we
[9:22] preach listen i've been saying this and i'll continue to say it you cannot be saved believing the wrong
[9:28] gospel no one ever gets saved believing the wrong gospel king agrippa believe it doubt the prophets
[9:39] because i know you do i know you do in act chapter 24 verse 14 does that but i confess unto thee that
[9:48] after the way in which they call heresy so worship i the god of my fathers believing all things which are
[9:56] written in the law and the prophets i believe it and watch this when you look at the law and the prophet
[10:04] what you may we may call the old testament it is actually about the gospel
[10:11] the law is about the gospel now i'm preaching the law is about the gospel of grace
[10:20] the law that was given to moses it was pointing to something bigger than moses it was something
[10:28] pointing to something bigger than the law bible says that the righteousness of god is revealed being
[10:35] witnessed which i remember chapter 3 verse 21 but the righteousness of god outside of the law without the
[10:42] law is manifested being witnessed by the law and the prophet you see that so the law and the prophets
[10:51] were giving testimony to the gospel to the righteousness of god the gospel the gospel the gospel the gospel that's
[11:00] why he said to timothy preach the word that means preach the gospel so now when we talk about the gospel what
[11:06] what what we mean we are talking about the message concerning jesus christ his person his nature
[11:18] his works the person of jesus the nature of jesus his works so anything that falls short of revealing the
[11:31] person of jesus the person of jesus the person of jesus the person of jesus the person of jesus the
[11:36] works of jesus falls short of the true gospel when god put the message on my heart for today
[11:42] the agenda of this message is to stir a fire in somebody's heart to be bold to declare the gospel
[11:52] anywhere you find yourself christianity doesn't do well when it's mixed with other things
[11:59] as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians
[12:01] with politics, what you'll be left with is politics.
[12:06] When you mix Christianity with religion, what you'll be left with is religion.
[12:11] And Christianity doesn't do well as a religion.
[12:16] as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians
[12:16] Other religions will do well.
[12:19] When you make Christianity just a religion without the gospel,
[12:23] as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians as christians
[12:23] Christianity will not do well.
[12:25] Because when Christianity just becomes just a religion,
[12:29] it loses its impact.
[12:32] But look, look, look, brothers and sisters,
[12:35] when Jesus died and resurrected and the church was born,
[12:39] they didn't have a building.
[12:40] They didn't have institution.
[12:42] They didn't have any kind of establishment.
[12:45] They didn't have church buildings.
[12:46] They were actually even worshiping in the temples.
[12:49] They were still going to the temples.
[12:51] So Acts chapter 3 talks about how at the time of prayer,
[12:55] Peter and John, Acts chapter 3 from verse 1,
[12:57] were going into the temple at the time of prayer.
[13:00] They were still temple attendants.
[13:03] And yet, Jesus, the New Testament believers,
[13:07] in Acts chapter 2, verse 46, 47,
[13:11] talks about how they continued daily in the temple and in houses.
[13:16] So they were still using the temple because they didn't have a place of their own.
[13:20] In Acts chapter 4, they went into the synagogue and they preached.
[13:23] In Acts chapter 13, when Paul and Silas were sent away
[13:27] and they went for the first missionary journey,
[13:31] they went into the synagogues and they preached.
[13:34] They would always go to the synagogue because they didn't have anything.
[13:37] And yet, it was their message that was doing their job.
[13:42] So then, if you take away their message,
[13:46] Christianity begins to collapse.
[13:48] We cannot stop the preaching of the glorious gospel
[13:54] in spite of who likes it or who doesn't like it.
[13:58] In spite, even if it doesn't have a public opinion,
[14:03] it's against the gospel.
[14:05] We don't have a choice.
[14:06] We only preach the gospel because therein,
[14:09] the righteousness of God is revealed.
[14:10] So he said,
[14:13] I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
[14:16] I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ.
[14:19] Why?
[14:20] Number one,
[14:21] it is the power of God unto salvation.
[14:27] Someone say power.
[14:28] Power.
[14:29] The fallen world,
[14:32] what they can't stand,
[14:34] is the gospel.
[14:35] Have you thought about this?
[14:37] Haven't you realized that wherever there is persecution against Christianity,
[14:40] the main problem of the persecution is our preaching,
[14:45] is our message.
[14:47] It's our message.
[14:48] So in the early church,
[14:50] they warned them,
[14:51] don't preach this.
[14:54] Acts chapter 5 verse 28.
[14:56] Did we not strictly warn you not to preach in?
[15:01] They were worried about that name.
[15:05] Preaching in that name.
[15:06] Preaching the gospel will introduce their name into the hearts
[15:09] and the lives of people.
[15:11] Preaching the gospel.
[15:13] You don't need to be a theologian.
[15:16] You just need to be someone whose heart has been captured by Christ.
[15:21] Someone who God has shown the light of the glorious gospel into your heart.
[15:27] Hallelujah.
[15:28] That's all it takes.
[15:30] That's all it takes.
[15:31] That's all it takes.
[15:33] We preach the gospel.
[15:37] Philip went down to Samaria and preached Christ.
[15:42] Preached Christ.
[15:44] You will understand why it's a glorious gospel in a minute.
[15:48] It's a glorious gospel.
[15:50] They don't like it by Christ's glory.
[15:53] It's a glorious gospel.
[15:54] It is not UK people who are funny.
[15:59] It's the fallen world.
[16:02] So whether you go to Saudi Arabia,
[16:04] you go to Nigeria,
[16:05] you go to Ghana,
[16:06] you go to Jamaica,
[16:08] you go to America,
[16:10] the gospel is never welcome in the heart of fallen people.
[16:15] So it's just like that.
[16:17] It's everywhere.
[16:19] So that's why Paul told Timothy,
[16:22] 2 Timothy chapter 1 verse 8,
[16:24] that don't be ashamed of the testimony.
[16:28] Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord.
[16:32] In the gospel,
[16:33] we testify about Jesus.
[16:36] We testify.
[16:38] It's declaring the testimony of God.
[16:40] Holy Ghost is testifying with us
[16:42] and God himself gives testimony to the word of his grace.
[16:47] So if you are not careful,
[16:50] society will intimidate you.
[16:55] Pastor,
[16:56] when I was in secondary school and I got born again,
[16:58] we were radically preaching the radical gospel
[17:02] that has radically changed our lives.
[17:05] Everywhere.
[17:06] And you know sometimes when you are among peers
[17:08] who are very proud
[17:10] and they mock Christians.
[17:13] In those days,
[17:14] most Christians were timid.
[17:17] They are just quiet people.
[17:18] They don't want trouble.
[17:18] They live their normal life.
[17:20] We went to their own believers.
[17:22] We went with their glorious gospel
[17:24] because this thing is too sweet.
[17:27] I have tasted and seen.
[17:29] Oh, come on.
[17:31] We were preaching everywhere.
[17:34] Do you know why we were so bold?
[17:35] Because we knew the gospel was glorious.
[17:38] In the same way,
[17:40] when you know the gospel is glorious,
[17:43] when you know the gospel is glorious,
[17:45] when you know the gospel is glorious,
[17:48] you are not ashamed.
[17:50] You are not ashamed.
[17:52] But you are bold
[17:53] about the gospel.
[17:56] It's a glorious gospel.
[17:59] It's a sweet gospel.
[18:01] It's an amazing gospel.
[18:03] You see,
[18:05] verse 3 of today's reading,
[18:07] if our gospel is veiled,
[18:10] King James says,
[18:12] hit.
[18:13] NIV,
[18:13] New International Version,
[18:15] New American Standard Version,
[18:18] English Standard Version,
[18:20] even Amplified,
[18:21] a New King James Version says,
[18:23] uses the word veiled.
[18:24] Because,
[18:24] it's so veiled to them.
[18:28] They don't know,
[18:29] why are you so excited about this thing?
[18:31] You post something about Jesus online,
[18:35] and they are wondering,
[18:36] what's,
[18:36] this guy is gone.
[18:38] What's wrong with you?
[18:40] What's wrong with you?
[18:42] You preach about Jesus Christ,
[18:43] they actually don't like you.
[18:46] They just don't like you.
[18:49] Because,
[18:50] the,
[18:50] the,
[18:50] the message of Christ,
[18:52] offends their spirit.
[18:54] It's offensive to them.
[18:57] It's a clear sign to you,
[18:59] the preacher,
[18:59] that this person is perishing.
[19:02] Because,
[19:02] it's that to those who are perishing,
[19:04] it is foolishness.
[19:05] So,
[19:05] one of the ways to know,
[19:07] someone who is on his way to hell,
[19:08] is their attitude towards the gospel.
[19:11] I mean,
[19:11] it's self-revealing.
[19:13] As you preach,
[19:14] you will see those who are going to hell.
[19:16] Because,
[19:17] the gospel forces you into a corner.
[19:23] The true gospel,
[19:25] the pure gospel,
[19:26] is to push you into a corner,
[19:28] to be left without an option,
[19:30] but to choose,
[19:31] either Jesus is God,
[19:33] or you reject it.
[19:36] There's no middle ground.
[19:37] When the true gospel is preached,
[19:40] there's no middle ground.
[19:41] You are either better off,
[19:45] or worse off,
[19:46] after you hear the true gospel.
[19:48] So,
[19:48] in Acts chapter 14,
[19:50] Bible says that,
[19:51] they went to Lystra,
[19:52] and they preached the gospel,
[19:54] and the whole city was divided.
[19:56] Yeah,
[19:56] yeah.
[19:57] The city was divided.
[19:59] Why?
[19:59] Bible says,
[20:00] some took to the side of the apostles,
[20:03] and others,
[20:03] it says that,
[20:04] and it came to pass in Iconium,
[20:06] that they went both together,
[20:07] into the synagogues of the Jews,
[20:08] and so spoke,
[20:11] that a great multitude,
[20:12] both of Jews,
[20:13] and also of,
[20:14] but the unbelieving Jews,
[20:16] set up the Gentiles,
[20:17] and made their minds,
[20:19] evil affected,
[20:19] against the brethren.
[20:20] Verse 3,
[20:21] long time therefore,
[20:22] are both they speaking boldly,
[20:23] say boldly.
[20:25] Boldly.
[20:25] We'll come to that.
[20:26] Say boldly.
[20:27] Boldly.
[20:27] Speaking boldly in the Lord,
[20:28] which gave testimony,
[20:29] unto the word of his grace,
[20:30] and granted signs,
[20:31] and wonders to be done.
[20:32] Verse 4,
[20:33] but the multitude of the city,
[20:36] was divided.
[20:37] Why?
[20:38] Why?
[20:39] Because of the gospel.
[20:40] Football will unite them,
[20:41] but the gospel will divide them.
[20:45] The gospel will divide them.
[20:47] Pastors,
[20:48] our job is not to preach,
[20:49] about football.
[20:51] Our job,
[20:52] is not to preach,
[20:53] on current affairs.
[20:55] Our job,
[20:56] is to preach,
[20:58] the word.
[20:58] Preach the word.
[21:00] Verse 2.
[21:00] 2 Timothy chapter 4,
[21:02] it says that,
[21:03] preach the word.
[21:04] Someone say,
[21:05] preach the word.
[21:06] Preach the word.
[21:07] I didn't hear you.
[21:08] Preach the word.
[21:09] I thought you would say it louder.
[21:10] Preach the word.
[21:11] Someone who is confident,
[21:13] about the glorious God,
[21:14] who shall preach the word.
[21:15] Preach the word.
[21:17] That's one of the reasons,
[21:19] why I like that song.
[21:19] It's not because,
[21:20] of the rhythm.
[21:22] We'll spread the gospel,
[21:23] we'll bring the,
[21:24] never,
[21:25] no,
[21:25] no.
[21:26] Even when you take the lyrics,
[21:27] the song is just nice,
[21:28] the instrumentation.
[21:29] But that's not why,
[21:30] I like that song.
[21:31] I like that song,
[21:32] because it says that,
[21:33] we will,
[21:33] we will,
[21:33] we will,
[21:34] we will shape the culture.
[21:36] We will shape the culture.
[21:38] We will preach the gospel.
[21:39] We will heal the sick.
[21:41] And what I like most about that song,
[21:42] it said,
[21:43] so we hear,
[21:43] we're done.
[21:44] So that means,
[21:45] oh,
[21:45] while you are doing this,
[21:46] your mind is somewhere.
[21:48] Your mind is on the reward.
[21:50] Your mind is on the coming of Christ.
[21:51] Your mind is on 2 Corinthians,
[21:54] chapter 5,
[21:55] verse 10.
[21:55] We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.
[21:59] As you are preaching the gospel,
[22:01] your mind is on the coming.
[22:03] Your mind is on Revelation,
[22:04] chapter 22,
[22:05] verse 12.
[22:06] Behold,
[22:06] I come.
[22:07] My reward is with me.
[22:08] Hey,
[22:09] somebody shall preach the word.
[22:12] The best time to preach the word
[22:17] is when you're young.
[22:20] Yeah.
[22:20] Don't wait till you're old.
[22:23] Remember now you're a creator
[22:26] in the days of your youth.
[22:30] Before the evil days come,
[22:31] because evil days are coming.
[22:32] When you will not have enough strength.
[22:35] When your children are too many.
[22:38] When childcare is a problem.
[22:40] When bills are high.
[22:43] When your bones are worrying.
[22:47] When you have to replace your hip.
[22:50] That's not the time.
[22:53] So you got to preach the.
[22:55] Well,
[22:55] listen,
[22:56] it doesn't matter.
[22:56] You can be a student.
[22:58] You can be a worker.
[23:00] As long as you are born again,
[23:03] you are young.
[23:04] This is the best time to preach the word.
[23:07] Don't say,
[23:07] I'm a student because students,
[23:09] my focus is studies.
[23:10] They have time for video games.
[23:12] They have time for nightclub.
[23:14] They have time for online streaming.
[23:16] They have time for going on social media
[23:19] and spending so much time.
[23:21] They have time for organ.
[23:22] Use your time
[23:24] to get closer to Christ
[23:26] and preach their gospel.
[23:29] Preach the gospel.
[23:31] He said,
[23:32] I am not ashamed.
[23:33] From today,
[23:34] I want to leave you with one thing.
[23:35] You leave this camp
[23:38] with a certain level,
[23:40] fresh level of boldness
[23:42] and confidence about the gospel.
[23:48] You feel so confident about the gospel.
[23:52] You might not have the money.
[23:54] You might not have all the money.
[23:56] You might not have all the fame,
[23:57] all the links,
[23:58] all the contacts and everything.
[24:00] But there's one thing
[24:01] they can't take away from you.
[24:03] You have the gospel
[24:04] and the glorious gospel of Christ.
[24:07] You have to preach it.
[24:08] You have to hold it dear.
[24:09] You have to be bold about it.
[24:11] You don't have to be ashamed
[24:12] of the gospel of Christ.
[24:15] Shout,
[24:15] preach the gospel.
[24:16] Preach the gospel.
[24:17] Preach the gospel.
[24:19] Preach the gospel.
[24:20] For I am not ashamed
[24:22] of the gospel of Christ.
[24:26] Four.
[24:27] Let me tell you four things
[24:29] the gospel is.
[24:31] Number one.
[24:32] The gospel is the power of God.
[24:37] Genesis chapter one,
[24:38] verse one.
[24:38] In the beginning,
[24:39] God created the heavens
[24:40] and the earth
[24:41] and the earth was without form
[24:42] and void
[24:43] and darkness was upon
[24:44] the face of the deep
[24:46] and the spirit of God
[24:47] moved upon the face.
[24:49] And verse three says,
[24:50] God said,
[24:50] let there be light.
[24:52] And there was light.
[24:53] That's power at play.
[24:56] The commanded light
[24:57] to shine.
[24:58] He commanded light shine.
[25:02] That's power.
[25:05] Creation is a reflection,
[25:07] a depiction,
[25:08] a display,
[25:09] a manifestation
[25:09] of the power of God.
[25:12] And from the time God said,
[25:13] let there be
[25:14] and commanded the sun
[25:15] to stand,
[25:16] the sun hasn't moved.
[25:19] The earth for generations
[25:20] and years,
[25:21] the earth goes around
[25:22] the same way.
[25:24] You,
[25:25] you,
[25:25] try and spin
[25:26] for just one minute
[25:28] and see whether
[25:29] you stay on the same.
[25:32] You'll be somewhere else.
[25:33] But because God
[25:34] spoke a word,
[25:36] even though that,
[25:37] guess what,
[25:38] the earth is spinning,
[25:40] but it's not on one,
[25:40] it's spinning
[25:41] and moving around
[25:42] at the same
[25:43] equal distance
[25:44] from the sun
[25:44] for thousands of years.
[25:47] It's still spinning.
[25:48] It's still spinning.
[25:49] It's still spinning.
[25:50] And it's not moving
[25:51] out of control.
[25:52] It's not moving
[25:53] out of proximity
[25:55] at its range.
[25:55] How?
[25:56] Because that's
[25:57] the power of God.
[25:59] God,
[25:59] who sustains
[26:00] all things
[26:01] by the word
[26:02] of his power.
[26:04] He spoke the world
[26:05] into being
[26:06] and it was.
[26:08] He spoke the sea.
[26:09] He said,
[26:09] this is how far
[26:10] you can come.
[26:12] He gave the sea
[26:12] its boundaries
[26:13] and he gave it
[26:14] according to
[26:15] Acts chapter 17
[26:16] 26.
[26:17] He has made
[26:18] of one blood
[26:19] all nations of men
[26:20] to dwell
[26:21] on the face
[26:21] of the earth
[26:22] and has determined
[26:23] their times
[26:24] before appointed
[26:25] and the bounds
[26:26] of their habitation.
[26:28] It is not
[26:29] immigration
[26:30] favor.
[26:31] That shows
[26:32] where you live.
[26:36] I know you
[26:36] didn't hear that.
[26:39] It's your
[26:39] assignment in God.
[26:44] You didn't get it.
[26:47] Immigration
[26:48] laws
[26:48] cannot
[26:50] determine
[26:51] where you live
[26:52] because God
[26:53] has already
[26:54] determined
[26:55] the boundaries.
[26:58] You didn't get it.
[26:59] I know you
[26:59] didn't get it.
[27:02] Immigration
[27:02] laws are made
[27:04] rather to favor
[27:06] the cause of God
[27:07] without knowing.
[27:10] God determines
[27:12] the boundaries
[27:13] of your habitation.
[27:14] God
[27:16] because of
[27:17] his assignment
[27:18] for your life.
[27:21] Where you
[27:21] are
[27:22] will not
[27:24] determine
[27:24] whether you
[27:25] die or not
[27:25] because we
[27:27] must all
[27:28] appear before
[27:28] the presence
[27:29] of the
[27:29] judgment
[27:30] of Christ.
[27:31] Where you
[27:32] are
[27:33] is an
[27:33] appointment.
[27:34] Where you
[27:35] are
[27:35] is a
[27:35] reflection
[27:36] of
[27:36] something
[27:37] that needs
[27:37] to be
[27:38] accomplished
[27:38] before your
[27:39] time of
[27:39] death.
[27:41] So those
[27:41] of you
[27:41] who live
[27:42] in different
[27:42] places
[27:43] remember
[27:44] you are
[27:44] there
[27:44] because of
[27:45] what God
[27:46] wants to
[27:46] do with
[27:46] your life.
[27:49] One of
[27:50] the reasons
[27:50] why I
[27:51] preach
[27:51] because
[27:52] people's
[27:52] lives
[27:52] were
[27:52] at stake
[27:53] but the
[27:54] other one
[27:54] which was
[27:55] more
[27:56] overshadowing
[27:57] for me
[27:57] is not
[27:59] just
[27:59] people's
[27:59] lives
[27:59] were
[28:00] at stake
[28:00] but
[28:01] the gospel
[28:03] is too
[28:03] sweet.
[28:04] I just
[28:05] can't be
[28:05] quiet about
[28:06] it.
[28:07] It's like
[28:07] fire shut
[28:08] up in my
[28:08] voice.
[28:10] I should
[28:10] keep quiet
[28:11] about the
[28:11] gospel?
[28:11] Sorry
[28:12] I can't.
[28:13] Sorry
[28:13] I can't.
[28:14] Sorry
[28:15] I can't.
[28:16] Sorry
[28:16] I can't.
[28:17] I'm not
[28:17] just being
[28:18] religious.
[28:19] I am
[28:19] on fire
[28:20] for Jesus.
[28:23] The
[28:23] songwriter
[28:23] said I
[28:24] wasn't
[28:24] going to
[28:25] tell anybody
[28:25] about it
[28:26] but I
[28:26] just
[28:27] couldn't
[28:27] keep it
[28:27] to
[28:27] myself.
[28:29] I
[28:29] couldn't
[28:29] keep it
[28:29] to
[28:29] myself.
[28:31] The
[28:31] gospel
[28:31] is too
[28:32] glorious.
[28:34] The
[28:34] gospel
[28:34] is too
[28:34] sweet.
[28:35] So I'm
[28:36] not ashamed.
[28:37] I'm not
[28:38] ashamed.
[28:38] ashamed.
[28:39] I'm not
[28:40] ashamed of
[28:40] the gospel
[28:41] of Christ
[28:41] for it
[28:42] is the
[28:43] power of
[28:44] God.
[28:44] It is the
[28:45] power of
[28:46] God unto
[28:47] salvation.
[28:49] Praise the
[28:49] Lord.
[28:51] I love
[28:52] the Bible.
[28:54] It's not
[28:54] just the
[28:55] book.
[28:56] But this
[28:57] thing contains
[28:57] the mind
[28:59] of God.
[29:00] It's a
[29:00] mind of
[29:02] God's
[29:03] ways.
[29:04] wealth.
[29:08] Wealth of
[29:09] wisdom.
[29:11] It's here.
[29:12] Captured
[29:12] here.
[29:13] It tells
[29:13] us about
[29:14] Christ.
[29:15] There's
[29:15] one
[29:16] objective.
[29:17] One
[29:17] purpose of
[29:18] this book
[29:19] is to
[29:20] force you
[29:21] to realize
[29:23] the significance
[29:24] of the life
[29:24] of Christ.
[29:26] That's the
[29:27] purpose of
[29:27] this book.
[29:28] The purpose
[29:29] of this
[29:29] book is
[29:30] to let
[29:31] somebody
[29:31] realize and
[29:32] recognize
[29:33] the significance
[29:34] the importance
[29:36] of Christ.
[29:38] It's called
[29:38] the gospel.
[29:40] The gospel.
[29:42] This
[29:42] contains the
[29:44] gospel.
[29:45] This is
[29:46] the gospel.
[29:47] That's why
[29:48] we encourage
[29:48] our pastors
[29:49] are confident
[29:50] in carrying
[29:51] the Bible.
[29:52] We carry
[29:53] it because
[29:54] I'm a
[29:54] Bible addict.
[29:56] Anything
[29:57] Bible I'll
[29:57] buy.
[29:58] I don't
[29:59] care about
[30:00] the cost.
[30:01] I want it
[30:02] first before
[30:02] I think
[30:03] about
[30:03] the cost
[30:03] because
[30:05] I am
[30:05] a Bible
[30:06] addict,
[30:07] a gospel
[30:08] fanatic.
[30:09] I'm a
[30:10] gospel
[30:10] fanatic.
[30:12] I'm sold
[30:13] out to
[30:13] the gospel
[30:14] and nothing
[30:15] else.
[30:16] Every other
[30:17] thing I
[30:17] actually really
[30:18] don't give
[30:19] much care
[30:20] about.
[30:20] If you sit
[30:21] with me,
[30:21] you will find
[30:22] out that
[30:23] outside of
[30:23] the gospel,
[30:24] I might be
[30:25] a little bit
[30:25] boring.
[30:25] as long
[30:27] as I
[30:27] am not
[30:28] missing
[30:28] the gospel,
[30:30] as long
[30:31] as I'm
[30:32] holding on
[30:32] to the
[30:33] gospel,
[30:34] whatever I
[30:34] lose in
[30:35] life,
[30:36] it's okay.
[30:37] It's okay.
[30:38] Why?
[30:39] Because this
[30:40] thing is
[30:40] glorious.
[30:41] This thing
[30:42] is glorious.
[30:43] This thing
[30:44] is glorious.
[30:44] It's glorious.
[30:46] It's glorious.
[30:48] Somebody shout
[30:48] the glorious
[30:49] gospel.
[30:49] The glorious
[30:50] gospel.
[30:51] It's the
[30:52] glorious
[30:53] gospel of
[30:54] Christ.
[30:55] I like
[30:56] reading my
[30:57] Bible.
[30:57] I like
[30:58] holding my
[30:59] Bible.
[30:59] I like
[31:00] being identified
[31:00] with the
[31:01] Bible.
[31:02] That's why
[31:02] I taught
[31:03] you that
[31:04] if I'm
[31:04] preaching,
[31:05] I say,
[31:05] I feel
[31:06] like
[31:06] preaching.
[31:08] I feel
[31:09] like
[31:09] preaching.
[31:11] I feel
[31:12] like
[31:12] preaching.
[31:14] When you
[31:15] close the
[31:15] Bible,
[31:15] you have
[31:16] muted
[31:16] God.
[31:19] When you
[31:20] close the
[31:20] Bible,
[31:20] you have
[31:21] silenced
[31:21] God.
[31:22] The only
[31:23] way God
[31:23] can speak
[31:24] is when
[31:24] the Bible
[31:24] is open
[31:25] and explained
[31:26] and we
[31:28] preach out
[31:29] of the
[31:29] text.
[31:32] It's a
[31:33] glorious
[31:33] gospel.
[31:34] It's a
[31:35] glorious
[31:35] gospel.
[31:36] It's a
[31:37] glorious
[31:37] gospel.
[31:38] I came
[31:39] here on
[31:40] a mission.
[31:42] This
[31:42] camp is
[31:43] to
[31:44] stir
[31:45] gospel
[31:46] fire
[31:46] for the
[31:48] next
[31:49] generation
[31:49] of
[31:50] movers
[31:50] and
[31:50] seekers.
[31:54] Charles
[31:55] Spurgeon
[31:55] said,
[31:56] why have
[31:59] you put
[31:59] the lion
[32:00] in a
[32:00] cage?
[32:02] And
[32:02] you're
[32:02] using
[32:03] sword
[32:04] to try
[32:05] and protect
[32:06] the lion
[32:07] and fight
[32:07] enemies
[32:08] away.
[32:09] Release
[32:10] the lion
[32:10] from the
[32:11] cage.
[32:11] It will
[32:12] defend
[32:12] himself.
[32:14] Don't let
[32:15] us try
[32:16] to tell
[32:16] people
[32:16] why the
[32:17] gospel
[32:17] is good
[32:18] and
[32:18] the
[32:18] churches.
[32:19] Leave
[32:20] that.
[32:20] Just
[32:21] preach
[32:21] the
[32:21] gospel
[32:22] and
[32:23] the
[32:23] gospel
[32:24] will
[32:24] find
[32:24] its way
[32:25] into
[32:25] the
[32:26] hearts
[32:26] of
[32:27] those
[32:27] who are
[32:27] appointed
[32:28] to
[32:28] eternal
[32:28] life.
[32:28] those who are
[32:32] appointed,
[32:32] the gospel
[32:33] will find
[32:33] them out.
[32:35] You
[32:36] yourself,
[32:36] are you not
[32:37] surprised today
[32:37] you are in
[32:38] church?
[32:40] You are
[32:40] attacking those
[32:41] who have been
[32:41] preaching.
[32:43] Now you can't
[32:44] wait to wear
[32:44] yellow t-shirts
[32:45] and stand
[32:48] on the
[32:48] streets
[32:48] and preach
[32:49] their
[32:50] gospel.
[32:53] The
[32:53] glorious
[32:53] gospel
[32:54] changes
[32:54] lives.
[32:56] The
[32:56] glorious
[32:56] gospel
[32:56] transforms
[32:57] nations.
[32:58] The
[32:59] glorious
[32:59] gospel
[33:00] changes
[33:00] communities.
[33:02] The
[33:02] glorious
[33:03] gospel
[33:03] saves
[33:03] lives.
[33:05] The
[33:05] glorious
[33:05] gospel
[33:06] builds
[33:06] churches.
[33:08] The
[33:09] best way
[33:09] to attract
[33:10] young
[33:10] people
[33:10] to
[33:11] church
[33:11] is not
[33:12] with
[33:12] tattered
[33:13] jeans.
[33:14] And
[33:14] scattered
[33:15] hair.
[33:17] That's
[33:17] not the
[33:17] best way
[33:17] to attract
[33:18] young
[33:18] people
[33:18] to
[33:19] church.
[33:19] Let us
[33:20] not
[33:20] change
[33:21] the
[33:21] gospel
[33:21] and say
[33:22] young
[33:22] people
[33:23] don't like
[33:24] the
[33:24] preaching
[33:24] of the
[33:25] cross
[33:25] because
[33:25] it
[33:26] gives
[33:27] them
[33:27] emotional
[33:28] distress.
[33:29] It gives
[33:30] them
[33:30] demonic
[33:31] distress
[33:31] that we
[33:32] get
[33:32] if we
[33:33] don't
[33:33] preach
[33:33] the
[33:33] gospel.
[33:34] It
[33:35] gives
[33:35] them
[33:35] emotional
[33:36] issues.
[33:38] So
[33:38] let's
[33:38] listen.
[33:41] Many
[33:41] people
[33:41] have been
[33:42] asking
[33:42] how
[33:42] are you
[33:43] attracting
[33:43] young
[33:43] people?
[33:44] There's
[33:44] no way
[33:45] to
[33:45] attract
[33:45] young
[33:45] people
[33:45] to
[33:46] be
[33:46] excited
[33:47] about
[33:48] the
[33:48] glorious
[33:48] gospel.
[33:50] There's
[33:50] no
[33:50] difference
[33:51] between
[33:52] a young
[33:53] Christian
[33:53] and an
[33:54] old
[33:54] Christian.
[33:55] They're
[33:55] all
[33:56] Christians.
[33:57] And
[33:58] what
[33:59] works
[34:00] for
[34:01] Christians
[34:01] works
[34:02] for
[34:02] even
[34:03] children
[34:03] who
[34:04] have
[34:04] even
[34:04] met
[34:04] Jesus.
[34:06] It
[34:07] is
[34:07] when
[34:07] you
[34:07] want
[34:07] to
[34:08] entertain
[34:08] people
[34:09] that's
[34:09] when
[34:09] you
[34:09] have
[34:09] to
[34:09] adapt
[34:10] to
[34:10] what
[34:10] they
[34:11] like.
[34:11] He
[34:13] says
[34:13] that
[34:13] the
[34:13] gospel
[34:15] makes
[34:15] them
[34:16] stumble.
[34:17] The
[34:17] Greeks
[34:18] they
[34:18] find
[34:19] it
[34:19] so
[34:19] stupid.
[34:20] How
[34:20] can
[34:20] I
[34:20] believe
[34:21] in
[34:21] this?
[34:22] But
[34:22] he
[34:22] said
[34:22] no
[34:22] no
[34:23] no
[34:23] leave
[34:23] them
[34:23] just
[34:24] stay
[34:24] with
[34:25] the
[34:25] gospel
[34:25] stay
[34:26] with
[34:26] the
[34:26] gospel
[34:26] why?
[34:27] Because
[34:28] it's
[34:28] the
[34:28] power
[34:29] stay
[34:30] with
[34:31] the
[34:31] gospel
[34:31] the
[34:32] same
[34:32] gospel
[34:32] the
[34:33] same
[34:34] gospel
[34:34] the
[34:35] same
[34:35] gospel
[34:35] is
[34:36] the
[34:36] message
[34:37] that
[34:37] changes
[34:38] not
[34:38] the
[34:38] style.
[34:39] not
[34:41] the
[34:42] style.
[34:43] That's
[34:44] what
[34:44] is
[34:44] happening
[34:44] to
[34:45] the
[34:45] modern
[34:45] day
[34:45] church
[34:45] which
[34:47] has
[34:47] become
[34:47] just
[34:47] religious.
[34:48] So
[34:48] we
[34:49] want
[34:49] to
[34:49] attract
[34:49] young
[34:49] people.
[34:51] So
[34:51] let's
[34:51] find out
[34:51] what
[34:52] young
[34:52] people
[34:52] like.
[34:54] What
[34:54] is
[34:54] trending
[34:54] so
[34:56] we
[34:56] can
[34:56] attract
[34:57] them
[34:57] because
[34:58] we
[34:58] think
[34:59] the
[34:59] gospel
[34:59] doesn't
[35:01] work
[35:01] for
[35:01] young
[35:02] people.
[35:02] Is
[35:02] that
[35:02] true?
[35:03] Is
[35:04] that
[35:04] true?
[35:05] Is
[35:06] that
[35:06] true?
[35:07] What
[35:08] do
[35:08] you
[35:08] want?
[35:09] What
[35:10] do
[35:10] you
[35:10] want?
[35:11] Why
[35:12] are
[35:12] you
[35:12] here?
[35:13] The
[35:14] gospel.
[35:15] The
[35:15] gospel.
[35:17] The
[35:17] gospel.
[35:18] And
[35:18] the
[35:19] glorious
[35:20] gospel.
[35:23] One
[35:24] of the
[35:24] things
[35:24] young
[35:24] people
[35:24] don't
[35:25] like
[35:25] is
[35:25] when
[35:25] you
[35:25] are
[35:26] not
[35:26] serious
[35:26] about
[35:26] what
[35:27] you
[35:27] are
[35:27] doing.
[35:28] Young
[35:28] people
[35:29] like
[35:29] intensity.
[35:31] Intensity.
[35:34] They
[35:34] like
[35:34] intensity.
[35:37] They
[35:37] want
[35:37] purity
[35:39] and
[35:39] intensity.
[35:41] Yes.
[35:42] God,
[35:43] the
[35:43] energy
[35:43] is
[35:44] there
[35:44] to
[35:45] do
[35:46] the
[35:46] work
[35:46] of
[35:46] God.
[35:48] The
[35:49] energy,
[35:49] the
[35:50] energy,
[35:50] the
[35:51] work
[35:51] of
[35:51] God
[35:51] requires
[35:52] energy.
[35:54] It
[35:54] requires
[35:55] energy.
[35:56] No
[35:56] church,
[35:57] no
[35:58] community,
[35:59] no
[35:59] group of
[35:59] people
[36:00] can
[36:00] see
[36:00] revival
[36:01] if
[36:02] they
[36:02] are
[36:02] not
[36:03] willing
[36:03] to
[36:03] spend
[36:03] long
[36:04] time
[36:05] in
[36:07] prayer,
[36:08] in
[36:08] fellowship,
[36:09] in
[36:10] listening
[36:10] to
[36:10] the
[36:10] gospel.
[36:12] In
[36:13] prayer,
[36:14] in
[36:14] fellowshipping,
[36:15] and in
[36:16] listening to
[36:16] the
[36:16] gospel.
[36:18] The
[36:18] people who
[36:19] spend
[36:19] two
[36:20] hours
[36:20] in
[36:20] church
[36:20] every
[36:22] week
[36:23] are
[36:24] not
[36:24] likely
[36:24] to
[36:24] see
[36:25] revival.
[36:26] Wow.
[36:28] Two
[36:28] hours.
[36:29] some
[36:30] is
[36:31] one
[36:31] and
[36:31] half
[36:32] hours
[36:32] because
[36:32] they
[36:32] are
[36:32] very
[36:33] busy
[36:33] people.
[36:34] And
[36:35] those
[36:35] same
[36:35] people
[36:35] are
[36:36] God
[36:36] send
[36:37] revival.
[36:37] How?
[36:40] Acts
[36:40] chapter
[36:40] 19
[36:41] from
[36:42] verse
[36:42] 9.
[36:43] When
[36:43] some
[36:44] will
[36:44] not
[36:44] believe
[36:44] but
[36:44] spoke
[36:45] evil
[36:45] of
[36:45] the
[36:45] way,
[36:46] Paul
[36:46] separated
[36:47] the
[36:47] disciples.
[36:48] Paul
[36:48] separated
[36:49] the
[36:49] speaking
[36:50] evil
[36:50] of
[36:50] the
[36:50] way
[36:50] before
[36:51] the
[36:51] multitude.
[36:52] departed
[36:52] them
[36:53] and
[36:53] separated
[36:53] the
[36:53] disciples
[36:54] disputing
[36:54] daily
[36:55] in
[36:55] the
[36:55] school
[36:55] of
[36:55] Tyranus.
[36:56] And
[36:56] this
[36:56] continues
[36:58] by
[36:59] space
[36:59] of
[36:59] two
[37:00] years.
[37:01] Daily.
[37:02] Disputing
[37:03] daily
[37:03] for
[37:03] two
[37:04] years.
[37:06] And
[37:06] Bible
[37:06] says
[37:07] and
[37:07] all
[37:08] Asia
[37:08] had
[37:08] the
[37:08] way.
[37:09] And
[37:10] God
[37:10] did
[37:11] unusual
[37:11] miracles
[37:12] by the
[37:12] hand
[37:13] of
[37:13] Paul.
[37:13] How?
[37:14] Because
[37:15] something
[37:16] was going
[37:16] on a
[37:17] constant
[37:17] basis.
[37:18] They
[37:19] were hearing
[37:19] the
[37:19] gospel.
[37:20] They
[37:20] were hearing
[37:20] the
[37:20] gospel.
[37:21] They
[37:21] were hearing
[37:21] the
[37:22] gospel.
[37:22] On
[37:22] a
[37:22] constant
[37:23] basis.
[37:24] So
[37:25] because
[37:26] of
[37:26] our
[37:26] society
[37:27] and
[37:27] the
[37:27] community
[37:28] we
[37:28] are
[37:28] in
[37:28] and
[37:29] restrictions
[37:29] and
[37:30] responsibilities
[37:31] we
[37:32] can't
[37:32] do
[37:32] two
[37:32] years.
[37:34] But
[37:34] at
[37:34] least
[37:34] if
[37:35] we
[37:35] have
[37:35] a
[37:35] whole
[37:35] day
[37:35] we
[37:36] have
[37:36] to
[37:36] make
[37:37] maximum
[37:37] use
[37:38] of
[37:38] it.
[37:40] So
[37:40] 12
[37:41] hours
[37:41] is
[37:41] very
[37:41] limited
[37:42] as
[37:43] compared
[37:43] to
[37:43] two
[37:44] years.
[37:45] So
[37:45] we
[37:46] have
[37:46] to
[37:46] maximize
[37:46] it.
[37:47] Maximize
[37:48] the
[37:48] moment.
[37:50] Somebody
[37:51] shout
[37:51] the
[37:51] glorious
[37:52] gospel.
[37:52] I'm
[37:58] not ashamed
[37:58] of the
[37:58] gospel
[37:59] of
[37:59] Christ
[37:59] for
[38:01] the
[38:02] gospel
[38:02] is
[38:03] the
[38:03] power.
[38:04] Number
[38:05] one.
[38:06] It's
[38:06] the
[38:06] gospel
[38:06] of
[38:07] Christ
[38:07] and
[38:07] that
[38:08] gospel
[38:08] it
[38:09] is
[38:09] the
[38:09] power
[38:10] of
[38:11] God.
[38:12] I
[38:12] was
[38:12] talking
[38:12] about
[38:12] creation.
[38:14] God
[38:14] created
[38:15] the
[38:15] heavens
[38:16] and
[38:16] the
[38:16] earth.
[38:16] That
[38:16] tells
[38:17] you
[38:17] the
[38:17] power
[38:17] of
[38:17] God.
[38:18] But
[38:18] the
[38:18] power
[38:19] of
[38:19] God
[38:19] is
[38:20] not
[38:21] greatly
[38:22] demonstrated
[38:23] as
[38:24] ever
[38:25] in
[38:25] the
[38:25] universe
[38:26] like
[38:27] when
[38:27] Jesus
[38:27] walked
[38:28] on
[38:28] the
[38:28] face
[38:28] of
[38:28] the
[38:28] earth.
[38:30] When
[38:30] Jesus
[38:31] died
[38:32] on
[38:32] the
[38:32] cross
[38:32] resurrected
[38:32] from
[38:33] the
[38:33] dead.
[38:34] That
[38:35] was
[38:35] the
[38:36] clearest
[38:37] depiction
[38:38] the
[38:39] absolute
[38:40] depiction
[38:40] of
[38:41] God's
[38:42] power
[38:42] and
[38:43] that
[38:43] power
[38:43] is
[38:44] captured
[38:44] in
[38:45] the
[38:45] preaching
[38:45] of
[38:46] the
[38:46] gospel.
[38:47] The
[38:48] gospel
[38:48] is
[38:48] not
[38:48] about
[38:49] the
[38:49] power
[38:50] of
[38:50] God.
[38:50] It
[38:51] actually
[38:52] is.
[38:55] I'm
[38:56] not
[38:56] ashamed
[38:56] of
[38:57] the
[38:57] gospel
[38:57] of
[38:58] Christ
[38:58] for
[38:58] it
[38:59] is
[39:00] the
[39:02] power
[39:02] of
[39:02] God.
[39:04] And
[39:05] it
[39:05] tells
[39:05] us
[39:05] that
[39:05] it
[39:06] is
[39:06] the
[39:06] power
[39:06] of
[39:06] God
[39:06] and
[39:07] it
[39:07] tells
[39:07] us
[39:07] its
[39:08] ultimate
[39:09] purpose.
[39:11] Unto
[39:12] salvation.
[39:14] If
[39:14] we
[39:14] needed
[39:15] money
[39:15] God
[39:16] would
[39:16] have
[39:16] sent
[39:17] an
[39:17] economist.
[39:17] If
[39:18] we
[39:20] needed
[39:20] governance
[39:21] God
[39:21] would
[39:22] have
[39:22] sent
[39:22] a
[39:22] politician.
[39:23] If
[39:24] we
[39:24] needed
[39:24] health
[39:25] God
[39:26] would
[39:26] have
[39:27] sent
[39:27] a
[39:27] physician.
[39:28] If
[39:29] we
[39:29] needed
[39:30] self
[39:31] esteem
[39:32] God
[39:33] would
[39:33] have
[39:33] sent
[39:33] a
[39:33] therapist.
[39:36] But
[39:36] what
[39:36] we
[39:37] needed
[39:37] is
[39:38] salvation.
[39:39] So
[39:39] God
[39:40] sent
[39:40] a
[39:40] savior.
[39:44] The
[39:44] greatest
[39:45] need
[39:45] of
[39:46] humanity
[39:46] is
[39:47] salvation.
[39:50] Let
[39:50] me
[39:50] tell you
[39:51] the
[39:51] truth.
[39:52] Anybody
[39:52] who
[39:53] is
[39:53] not
[39:53] born
[39:53] again
[39:53] doesn't
[39:54] know
[39:54] Jesus
[39:54] is
[39:55] an
[39:55] afraid
[39:56] man.
[39:59] Sometimes
[39:59] they put
[40:00] up
[40:00] boldness
[40:00] but
[40:01] life
[40:01] is
[40:02] not
[40:02] together
[40:02] for
[40:02] them.
[40:03] Nobody
[40:03] has
[40:04] true
[40:04] peace
[40:05] outside
[40:05] of
[40:05] Jesus
[40:06] because
[40:07] he
[40:07] is
[40:07] the
[40:07] prince
[40:07] of
[40:08] peace.
[40:09] Before
[40:09] he
[40:09] died
[40:10] he
[40:10] told
[40:10] his
[40:10] disciples
[40:10] in
[40:10] the
[40:11] book
[40:11] of
[40:11] John
[40:11] chapter
[40:11] 14.
[40:12] peace
[40:13] I
[40:13] live
[40:15] with
[40:16] you.
[40:16] My
[40:16] peace
[40:16] I
[40:17] live
[40:18] with
[40:18] you.
[40:19] The
[40:19] only
[40:19] thing
[40:20] he
[40:20] left
[40:20] for
[40:20] them
[40:21] some
[40:21] of
[40:21] you
[40:22] when
[40:22] your
[40:22] uncle
[40:23] was
[40:23] dying
[40:23] he
[40:23] left
[40:24] you
[40:24] a
[40:24] shoe.
[40:25] When
[40:25] your
[40:25] grandfather
[40:26] was
[40:26] passing
[40:26] he
[40:27] left
[40:27] you
[40:27] a
[40:27] house
[40:28] in
[40:29] Zambia.
[40:31] When
[40:31] Jesus
[40:31] was
[40:32] going
[40:32] he
[40:33] left
[40:33] the
[40:33] disciples
[40:33] his
[40:34] peace.
[40:36] He
[40:37] said
[40:37] I'm
[40:37] going
[40:38] but
[40:38] there's
[40:38] one
[40:38] thing
[40:39] I
[40:39] want
[40:39] to
[40:39] live
[40:39] !
[40:39] with
[40:39] you
[40:39] take
[40:40] it.
[40:40] Peace
[40:42] I
[40:42] live
[40:42] with
[40:42] you.
[40:43] My
[40:43] peace
[40:44] I
[40:44] give
[40:44] unto
[40:45] you.
[40:46] Not
[40:47] as
[40:47] the
[40:47] world
[40:47] gives.
[40:49] Hallelujah!
[40:52] So
[40:52] British
[40:53] police
[40:53] can
[40:54] threaten
[40:54] you
[40:54] and
[40:54] yet
[40:55] you
[40:55] have
[40:55] peace.
[40:58] They
[40:58] can
[40:58] persecute
[40:59] you
[40:59] yet
[40:59] we
[41:00] have
[41:00] peace.
[41:01] You
[41:01] remember
[41:01] today's
[41:02] reading
[41:02] said
[41:02] persecuted
[41:03] but
[41:04] not
[41:04] forsaken.
[41:06] Verse
[41:07] 9,
[41:07] verse
[41:08] 9,
[41:08] verse
[41:08] 9,
[41:08] verse
[41:08] 9.
[41:09] Persecuted
[41:11] but
[41:11] not
[41:11] forsaken.
[41:12] Cast
[41:12] down
[41:13] but
[41:13] not
[41:13] destroyed.
[41:14] Verse
[41:14] 10,
[41:14] come on,
[41:15] let's
[41:15] go.
[41:15] Verse
[41:15] 10,
[41:16] always
[41:16] bearing
[41:17] about
[41:17] in
[41:17] our
[41:18] body
[41:18] the
[41:18] dying
[41:19] of
[41:19] the
[41:19] Lord
[41:19] that
[41:20] the
[41:20] life
[41:20] also
[41:21] of
[41:21] Jesus
[41:21] might
[41:22] be
[41:22] made
[41:22] manifest
[41:23] in
[41:23] our
[41:23] bodies.
[41:24] Hallelujah!
[41:27] Look at
[41:28] verse 11.
[41:30] It says,
[41:30] death is
[41:31] working in
[41:31] us.
[41:32] For
[41:32] we
[41:32] which
[41:33] live
[41:33] are
[41:33] always
[41:34] delivered
[41:34] unto
[41:34] death
[41:35] for
[41:35] Jesus'
[41:35] sake.
[41:36] That
[41:36] the
[41:37] life
[41:37] also
[41:37] of
[41:38] Jesus
[41:38] might
[41:39] be
[41:39] made
[41:39] manifested
[41:40] in
[41:40] our
[41:41] mortal.
[41:41] So as
[41:42] they are
[41:42] trying to
[41:42] kill us,
[41:43] they are
[41:43] actually
[41:43] allowing the
[41:44] life of
[41:45] Jesus to
[41:45] manifest.
[41:47] As they are
[41:47] trying to
[41:48] persecute us,
[41:49] they are
[41:49] paving the
[41:50] way for
[41:50] the life of
[41:51] Jesus.
[41:52] Because the
[41:52] life of
[41:53] Jesus works
[41:53] when they
[41:54] put us
[41:54] under
[41:54] pressure.
[41:58] Hallelujah!
[42:00] That's
[42:01] why
[42:01] someone who
[42:02] has a
[42:02] glorious
[42:03] gospel is
[42:03] not afraid
[42:04] of any
[42:04] man's
[42:05] strength.
[42:06] So what
[42:07] can man
[42:07] do to
[42:07] me?
[42:08] The
[42:09] Lord is
[42:09] my
[42:09] strength.
[42:11] I
[42:11] shall
[42:12] run
[42:12] off
[42:12] here.
[42:13] What
[42:13] can
[42:14] man
[42:14] do
[42:14] to
[42:15] me?
[42:16] They
[42:16] said,
[42:17] back to
[42:18] 2 Corinthians,
[42:19] there's
[42:19] something
[42:20] there.
[42:20] Verse 11
[42:21] again.
[42:21] For we
[42:23] which live
[42:24] are always
[42:24] delivered unto
[42:25] death for
[42:25] Christ Jesus'
[42:26] sake, that
[42:27] the life
[42:27] also of
[42:27] Jesus might
[42:28] be made
[42:28] manifested in
[42:29] our
[42:29] mortal.
[42:29] Look at
[42:30] the verse
[42:30] 12.
[42:30] So then
[42:31] death
[42:31] worketh
[42:31] in us
[42:32] but life
[42:33] with you.
[42:36] He
[42:36] said,
[42:37] as it's
[42:37] written,
[42:38] I believe
[42:39] therefore I
[42:39] speak.
[42:40] We also
[42:41] believe
[42:41] therefore we
[42:42] speak.
[42:44] For though
[42:44] our outward
[42:45] man perishes,
[42:47] our inward
[42:48] man is
[42:49] renewed day
[42:50] by day.
[42:51] Pre-op
[42:52] verse 14
[42:52] please.
[42:53] Knowing
[42:53] that he
[42:54] that
[42:54] raised
[42:55] up the
[42:55] Lord
[42:56] Jesus
[42:56] shall
[42:56] raise
[42:57] us
[42:57] up
[42:57] also
[42:57] by
[42:57] Jesus
[42:58] and
[42:58] shall
[42:59] present
[42:59] us
[42:59] with
[42:59] you.
[43:00] Verse 15.
[43:01] For all
[43:02] things are
[43:03] for your
[43:03] sake,
[43:04] that the
[43:04] abundant
[43:04] grace
[43:06] might
[43:06] through
[43:07] the
[43:07] thanks
[43:07] give
[43:07] you
[43:07] many
[43:08] redundant
[43:08] to
[43:09] the
[43:09] glory
[43:09] of
[43:09] God.
[43:10] Now
[43:10] look
[43:10] at
[43:10] verse 16.
[43:12] It
[43:12] says that
[43:13] for which
[43:13] cause
[43:13] we
[43:14] fail
[43:14] not,
[43:15] but
[43:15] though
[43:15] our
[43:15] outward
[43:16] man
[43:16] perishes,
[43:17] yet
[43:17] our inward
[43:18] man
[43:18] is
[43:18] renewed
[43:18] day
[43:19] by
[43:19] day.
[43:20] Verse 17.
[43:21] For our
[43:21] oh-oh,
[43:22] somebody
[43:23] say oh-oh,
[43:24] say oh-oh,
[43:27] for our
[43:27] light
[43:28] affliction
[43:29] which is
[43:29] bad for
[43:30] a moment
[43:30] worketh
[43:31] for us
[43:31] a far
[43:32] more
[43:32] exceeding
[43:33] and an
[43:33] eternal
[43:33] weight
[43:34] of glory.
[43:35] Shall
[43:35] glory?
[43:37] For we
[43:38] look not
[43:38] at the
[43:39] things
[43:39] which are
[43:40] seen,
[43:40] but at
[43:41] the
[43:41] things
[43:41] which
[43:41] are
[43:41] not
[43:42] seen,
[43:42] for
[43:42] the
[43:42] things
[43:43] which
[43:43] are
[43:43] seen,
[43:44] are
[43:44] temporary,
[43:44] but the
[43:45] things
[43:45] which
[43:45] are
[43:45] not
[43:46] seen,
[43:46] are
[43:46] eternal.
[43:46] Did I
[43:49] hear
[43:49] someone
[43:49] screaming
[43:49] hallelujah?
[43:50] Hallelujah!
[43:53] We
[43:53] are
[43:53] our
[43:54] point
[43:55] of
[43:55] reference
[43:55] for
[43:56] our
[43:56] excitement
[43:57] is the
[43:57] gospel.
[43:59] It's the
[43:59] gospel.
[44:00] One of
[44:01] the songs
[44:01] that
[44:01] really
[44:02] humbles me
[44:03] every time
[44:04] that song
[44:04] I hear
[44:05] that song
[44:05] it's like
[44:06] I'm
[44:06] sedated
[44:07] in love
[44:08] for God
[44:08] and I'm
[44:09] humbled.
[44:10] I just
[44:11] admire the
[44:12] mercy of
[44:12] God.
[44:14] It just
[44:15] makes me
[44:15] so soft
[44:16] towards
[44:16] God.
[44:17] For
[44:18] God
[44:19] so
[44:20] loud
[44:21] that
[44:22] well
[44:22] that's
[44:23] the
[44:24] gospel.
[44:24] That's
[44:24] the
[44:25] gospel.
[44:26] I
[44:26] see
[44:26] the
[44:26] word
[44:26] radical
[44:28] and
[44:29] radicalized
[44:30] is not
[44:30] a positive
[44:31] word.
[44:31] It's not
[44:31] a good
[44:32] political
[44:32] word.
[44:33] But
[44:34] it's
[44:34] some
[44:34] people's
[44:35] reality.
[44:37] It's
[44:37] my
[44:37] reality.
[44:39] I've
[44:39] been
[44:39] radicalized
[44:40] by the
[44:41] gospel
[44:41] of
[44:41] Jesus.
[44:41] by the
[44:45] glorious
[44:46] gospel.
[44:48] It's
[44:48] okay to
[44:49] let the
[44:49] gospel
[44:50] take over
[44:50] your life.
[44:51] It will
[44:52] only take
[44:53] you to
[44:53] where no
[44:53] one can
[44:54] take you.
[44:54] Where your
[44:55] background
[44:55] cannot take
[44:56] you.
[44:56] Where your
[44:57] inheritance
[44:57] cannot take
[44:58] you.
[44:58] Where your
[44:58] heritage
[44:59] cannot take
[44:59] you.
[45:00] Where your
[45:00] academic
[45:01] attainment
[45:01] cannot take
[45:02] you.
[45:02] It will
[45:02] only take
[45:03] you into
[45:03] the center
[45:04] of the
[45:04] purpose
[45:05] of God
[45:05] on earth.
[45:06] The
[45:07] center of
[45:08] the will
[45:08] of God
[45:09] on earth
[45:09] is only
[45:10] accessible
[45:11] through the
[45:11] gospel.
[45:13] The
[45:13] center of
[45:14] the purpose
[45:16] of God
[45:17] on earth
[45:17] is only
[45:19] accessible
[45:19] through the
[45:20] gospel.
[45:22] The gospel
[45:22] is an
[45:23] expression
[45:24] of the
[45:24] agenda
[45:25] of God.
[45:26] The gospel
[45:27] is an
[45:27] invitation
[45:28] from God
[45:29] into his
[45:30] purpose,
[45:31] into his
[45:31] agenda.
[45:32] The gospel
[45:33] is the
[45:34] power
[45:34] of God
[45:36] unto
[45:37] salvation.
[45:39] In
[45:40] theological
[45:40] terms,
[45:41] we talk
[45:41] about
[45:42] salvation
[45:42] in
[45:42] threefold.
[45:44] We talk
[45:45] about
[45:45] being
[45:46] saved,
[45:48] having
[45:48] been
[45:49] saved,
[45:50] being
[45:50] saved,
[45:51] and
[45:51] shall
[45:51] be
[45:51] saved.
[45:52] We
[45:53] have
[45:53] been
[45:53] saved
[45:53] in
[45:54] our
[45:54] spirits,
[45:55] in
[45:55] our
[45:55] souls,
[45:56] we
[45:56] are
[45:56] being
[45:56] saved,
[45:57] in
[45:57] our
[45:57] bodies,
[45:57] we
[45:57] shall
[45:57] be
[45:58] saved.
[45:59] We
[45:59] have
[45:59] been
[46:00] saved
[46:00] in
[46:00] the
[46:00] past
[46:01] from
[46:01] our
[46:02] sins,
[46:03] being
[46:03] saved
[46:04] from
[46:05] the
[46:05] present
[46:06] world,
[46:07] and
[46:07] shall
[46:07] be
[46:07] saved
[46:07] from
[46:08] all
[46:08] evil.
[46:08] So
[46:11] when
[46:11] he
[46:11] says
[46:11] there
[46:11] is
[46:11] the
[46:11] power
[46:12] of
[46:12] God
[46:12] unto
[46:12] salvation,
[46:13] which
[46:13] of
[46:13] the
[46:13] salvation
[46:14] is he
[46:14] talking
[46:14] about?
[46:15] Yes.
[46:16] Talk
[46:16] about
[46:17] salvation
[46:17] in
[46:18] every
[46:18] shape
[46:19] and
[46:19] form.
[46:20] It
[46:20] takes
[46:20] the
[46:21] gospel
[46:22] to
[46:22] encounter
[46:23] salvation.
[46:26] No
[46:27] one
[46:27] can be
[46:28] saved.
[46:28] Watch
[46:28] this.
[46:29] No
[46:30] one
[46:30] can
[46:30] be
[46:31] saved
[46:31] outside
[46:32] the
[46:32] gospel.
[46:34] No
[46:34] one.
[46:35] No
[46:35] one.
[46:36] No
[46:36] one.
[46:37] Christianity
[46:38] is not
[46:38] about
[46:38] good
[46:39] behavior.
[46:41] Christianity
[46:42] is not
[46:42] about
[46:43] social
[46:45] acceptance.
[46:47] Christianity
[46:47] is not
[46:47] about being
[46:48] part of
[46:48] a group
[46:49] of people
[46:49] who
[46:49] know
[46:49] how to
[46:50] sing
[46:50] nice
[46:50] songs.
[46:52] Christianity
[46:52] is not
[46:53] about being
[46:53] part of
[46:54] a club
[46:55] of nice
[46:56] and wonderful
[46:57] people.
[46:58] Christianity
[46:59] is about
[47:00] the gospel
[47:01] having taken
[47:02] hold of
[47:03] somebody's
[47:03] life.
[47:05] The gospel.
[47:05] the gospel
[47:07] is about
[47:07] a who?
[47:09] A
[47:09] person.
[47:11] In
[47:11] Colossians
[47:11] chapter 1
[47:12] verse 28.
[47:14] Hey
[47:14] hey
[47:15] he said
[47:15] so you
[47:16] don't get
[47:16] it wrong.
[47:17] I like
[47:17] the new
[47:18] King James.
[47:18] So you
[47:18] don't get
[47:19] it wrong.
[47:19] He said
[47:19] him
[47:20] we
[47:20] preach.
[47:23] Him
[47:23] him
[47:24] is a
[47:24] person.
[47:25] He's a
[47:26] person.
[47:26] He went
[47:26] down to
[47:27] Samaria
[47:27] and preached
[47:28] Christ.
[47:29] 1 Corinthians
[47:29] chapter 2
[47:30] he says
[47:30] that
[47:30] for we
[47:31] preach
[47:31] Christ
[47:31] crucified.
[47:32] He said
[47:35] him
[47:35] we
[47:36] preach.
[47:36] For when
[47:37] he said
[47:37] preach
[47:37] the gospel
[47:38] it is
[47:39] about
