[0:00] Hallelujah! Thank you for tuning in to this powerful message by David Entry at Karis Phase 2,
[0:07] ! Our Christ Centred Youth Services. You can never find Christ outside of the open Word of God.
[0:13] May Jesus Christ reveal Himself to you as you listen.
[0:17] Ephesians 5 verse 1 says that,
[0:19] Be ye therefore followers of God as dear children, and walk in love, as Christ also has loved us,
[0:31] and has given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling savour. Amen.
[0:41] Amen. So last week, I explained the fact, I explained that, for God to say that we should imitate,
[0:51] we should be imitators of God, therefore be imitators of God as dearly beloved children.
[0:59] There's no way we can imitate God unless we have the nature of God. And I took my time to explain
[1:06] how we got the nature of God. We are human beings who carry the nature of God in us. So you have the
[1:13] human nature, but there is an aspect of divinity, the divine nature, which you have been introduced
[1:20] into all, which you have been qualified to share, to be a partaker of. So 2 Peter chapter 1 verse 3 and 4,
[1:32] He said, He has given us, as His divine power has given to us. The us is not talking about human or human beings.
[1:40] He's talking about those of us in Christ, an exclusive us. Okay. As His divine power has given to us,
[1:49] all things that pertain to life and godliness. So anything that makes life work, anything that helps you to
[1:57] to do well in life as a child of God to fulfill your assignment and mandate and everything that it
[2:06] takes to live a godly life, He has given to us. So that's why we can live a life that is according to the
[2:16] standard of Jesus, not according to the standard of Moses. The standard of Moses could not be lived by any
[2:24] human being. So when the law came, I explained last week, the law came and we were failing because the law
[2:32] is so much depictive of God. In fact, I think we are reading recently 1 Timothy chapter either 2 verse 8 or 1
[2:42] verse 8 somewhere that talks about how the law is good. He said, but we know that the law is good.
[2:51] All right. If one uses the law itself, because the law came from God. But when the law got to our end,
[3:00] it began to produce bad stuff. Not because of the law, but because of us. Do you understand what I'm saying?
[3:08] Because of us. So no human being can keep the laws of God. Then Jesus Christ comes and introduces a
[3:15] higher standard. He introduces the standard that is even higher than the law. As I explained to you
[3:21] last week, he said in Matthew chapter 5 verse 27 and 28, he said that you have heard it is said.
[3:29] You have, verse 27, you have heard it is said to those of whom, you shall not commit adultery. Is that in the law?
[3:38] Yes. Exodus chapter 20 is there. Thou shall not commit adultery. So he said, you have heard it is said.
[3:47] You shall not commit adultery. But I say to you, I'm taking it further higher. He said, but I say unto you
[3:55] that whosoever, it doesn't matter who you are. Whosoever, you can be in church and you are whosoever. You can be born again. You are whosoever.
[4:05] You can, you can be a man and you are whosoever, a woman. Whosoever looks at a woman to
[4:14] So sometimes even in the presence of God, you are struggling to keep up with the standard. We can, even the law of Moses, we are struggling.
[4:25] How much more the highest, the imperfect one, Jesus Christ. He was so sinless. He was so pure.
[4:35] In Luke chapter 23 verse 14, the one who was supposed to condemn him to death, the one, the only one who had the authority to condemn him to death said, listen, guys, I find no fault in this man.
[4:48] Wow. I find no fault in this man. First, second Corinthians chapter 5 verse 21. It says that God made him who knew no sin to be sinful. He didn't know sin.
[5:01] In Luke chapter 4 verse 15. He said, for we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness. That is even very interesting.
[5:13] That in itself. It's very interesting that he, if someone shouldn't understand why you are misbehaving, it should be him.
[5:23] So if there should be somebody who should condemn Romans chapter 8 verse 24.
[5:29] He said, is it Christ? Okay, let's start. When you start from 32.
[5:33] He said, if God, who did not spare his only son.
[5:38] He said, he who did not spare his only son, but delivered him up for us all.
[5:44] How shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
[5:51] Look at the next verse.
[5:53] Who shall bring a charge against God's elect?
[5:57] Do you know what it means?
[5:59] Who can come and stand and say that, God, this one, you have chosen him, but this one has problems.
[6:04] Some of you, if some of your family members had the chance, your sister in particular,
[6:09] the things he would say against you to God.
[6:10] Because she knows you very well. She knows you are fake.
[6:16] So, he said, who shall bring a charge against the one God has elected?
[6:22] That's what the scripture said.
[6:23] Who shall bring a charge against God's elect?
[6:25] Is it God? In fact, he justified you.
[6:29] So, if someone should have anything against you, God knows you better than anybody.
[6:34] Next to God, who? It must be Jesus, even though he's God.
[6:37] He said, the next verse said, look at it.
[6:41] Who is he who condemns?
[6:44] Is it Christ who rather died?
[6:48] And furthermore, it's also risen, who is even at the right hand of God talking on your behalf.
[6:55] If someone should reserve the right to condemn us, it should be the one who lived a human life and lived a perfect life.
[7:01] But rather, he's not the one condemning us.
[7:03] He's the one interceding for us.
[7:06] Hallelujah!
[7:06] Hallelujah!
[7:07] Hallelujah!
[7:09] He is before the right hand of majesty interceding for us, asking God, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy, mercy.
[7:20] I know he did it.
[7:22] I know she misbehaved.
[7:23] But God, mercy.
[7:24] God, mercy.
[7:26] God, mercy.
[7:26] Because of him, the Bible said, therefore, let us come boldly before the throne of grace.
[7:32] I feel like preaching.
[7:34] I feel like, let us come boldly before the throne of grace that we may obtain grace, find favor and obtain mercy.
[7:43] Jesus, he said, Jesus said, woman, where are your accusers?
[7:49] John chapter 8.
[7:51] Where are those who are accused of, lady?
[7:53] Where are they?
[7:54] He said, Jesus said, did no one condemn you?
[7:57] She said, no man.
[7:59] He said, neither do I,
[8:00] neither do I condemn you.
[8:06] Go and sin.
[8:09] No more.
[8:09] That's why the scripture says, we have a high priest.
[8:13] Oh no, in fact, he used the negative.
[8:15] We, Hebrews 4, 11, 15.
[8:17] We do not.
[8:20] He didn't say we have a high priest.
[8:21] He's implying we have.
[8:23] But he said, let me tell you what we don't have.
[8:24] We do not.
[8:28] We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize.
[8:34] There are some priests who cannot sympathize with your misbehavior.
[8:41] The way you are messing up.
[8:42] They can't.
[8:43] He said, we don't have that kind of high priest.
[8:46] He's implying we have.
[8:47] But let me tell you what type we don't have.
[8:50] So under any circumstance, you can always come bold.
[8:58] I feel like doing this slow motion.
[9:00] You can come boldly.
[9:06] We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness.
[9:13] Weakness?
[9:16] Weakness?
[9:17] It's our strength he should celebrate.
[9:20] But why is he understanding our weakness?
[9:23] He cannot sympathize with...
[9:25] The reason why he looks like he shouldn't sympathize with our weakness
[9:29] is because he sat where we sit.
[9:32] He became like us and yet without sin.
[9:37] So he should say, if I did it, why can't you do it?
[9:41] Why can't you?
[9:42] What's your problem?
[9:42] Come on, come on.
[9:43] Get up.
[9:44] Let's do it.
[9:44] Come on.
[9:44] Get up.
[9:45] It's like you pass exam.
[9:48] And this basic exam everybody's passing.
[9:50] And you know this guy's strength.
[9:53] You're an lecturer.
[9:54] You've written there.
[9:54] You have said the exam that everybody should pass.
[9:57] And you yourself, you know it's not passing.
[9:59] You say, come on.
[10:00] No, no.
[10:01] You don't have an excuse not to pass this one.
[10:02] So our high priest should be able to tell us, I've lived where you live.
[10:05] I know what it means to be tempted.
[10:07] Listen, I did.
[10:07] I wasn't.
[10:08] I didn't fall.
[10:09] I was without.
[10:09] He said, yet is there.
[10:10] He preached after I fall.
[10:11] Yet, without sin.
[10:15] So he should rather be able to condemn.
[10:19] But rather, he sympathizes.
[10:22] And not just sympathizes.
[10:24] He's actually, actually, before the throne of grace interceding.
[10:29] He said, I will worship you forever.
[10:39] I will worship you forever.
[10:42] Because this God is good.
[10:45] In 1 Peter 1, verse 19, it says that he was, we are saved, redeemed by the precious blood of the lamb, as a lamb without blemish and without sport.
[11:03] He's clean.
[11:04] He's clean.
[11:06] Faultless.
[11:08] Innocent.
[11:10] That's it.
[11:10] 1 Peter 2, verse 22.
[11:12] He says that, 1 Peter 2, verse 22.
[11:14] He says that, who, let's all read here from the screen.
[11:16] Let's see how this is, this thing is too good.
[11:18] Let's read here.
[11:19] Let's go.
[11:19] Let's go.
[11:19] No.
[11:24] No.
[11:25] No deceit was found.
[11:26] Jesus Christ committed no sin.
[11:29] Anyone who says a religious leader who can lead you, ask if he committed sin or he was sinners.
[11:34] Oh, Jesus, we can pull him out.
[11:36] You can examine him.
[11:38] You can attend.
[11:38] And yet, even Pontius Pilate examined him.
[11:42] And yet, he was without sin.
[11:44] Shad yes!
[11:44] So, the scripture is telling us about how we have been.
[11:54] He says, by, he has given us these precious promises.
[11:57] 1 Peter, 2 Peter 1, verse 3.
[12:00] Giving us these precious promises.
[12:01] That by these, you might be.
[12:04] No, 1 Peter 3 says that.
[12:06] He has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
[12:10] You cannot say you are born again.
[12:12] Jesus is living in you and you can't stop lying.
[12:17] It's not about what you should stop.
[12:19] But it's about who lives in you.
[12:23] Christianity is not about what you don't do.
[12:25] It's about the life you have.
[12:28] If you have the life of Christ, you'll be able to express the righteousness of Christ.
[12:34] It doesn't mean you become sinless.
[12:38] But you're certainly sinless.
[12:45] He has, pastor, he has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
[12:52] Hey!
[12:53] Hey!
[12:53] I cannot shut up!
[12:56] Everything that pertains to life and godliness has been given to us.
[13:00] Godliness has been given to us.
[13:01] He has been given to us.
[13:02] So life, you can make it.
[13:04] Godliness, you can make it.
[13:06] Why has he done that?
[13:08] And he says, done that through the knowledge of Jesus who called you into glory.
[13:15] People should look at your life and feel, I wish I were you.
[13:20] Because we have been called into glory and virtue.
[13:25] That's why I don't understand a Christian brother like you.
[13:28] You keep failing exams.
[13:29] You keep failing exams.
[13:36] Now, pastor, that's not my strength.
[13:39] What others are doing, you should be able to do it more.
[13:43] Do you understand?
[13:43] Because we have the mind of Christ.
[13:48] Pastor, I always struggle with understanding mathematics.
[13:52] Pray about it.
[13:53] Look for someone who can help you.
[13:55] And you see, it will work.
[13:57] Because you have what it takes.
[13:58] It's just that when you are lazy, you don't want to rise to the challenge.
[14:04] The pastor said, no, I should fail exams.
[14:06] Yes, I said it.
[14:07] I said it.
[14:09] But he did fail exams.
[14:11] What has that got to do with you?
[14:12] To be more serious, what I'm trying to say is that the Bible says, giving us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
[14:22] So, yes, you can.
[14:23] Yes, you can.
[14:25] Why has he done that?
[14:26] He has done that according to the knowledge of him who has called us.
[14:29] So, you have to know Jesus.
[14:30] Knowing Jesus will determine the nature, how much of God's nature can flow through you.
[14:36] That's why all your church life must be based, must be focused on knowing more of Jesus.
[14:42] Not just miracle and blessing.
[14:44] And please, let's move away from that.
[14:46] It's part of our blessing.
[14:48] But that is not the fundamental reason why we are in Christ.
[14:50] The fundamental reason why we are in Christ is that we will know him more, that we become his expressions, his counterparts, his representatives, you remember, and his habitation.
[15:00] It's very important.
[15:02] And his enlargement.
[15:03] So, it says that according to the knowledge of him, knowing Christ is cardinal.
[15:08] Knowing Christ is crucial.
[15:10] When you are born again now, the rest of your entire life must be spent in knowing him.
[15:17] Because the knowledge of Christ is inexhaustible.
[15:19] The Bible says that how unsearchable are his ways.
[15:24] So, it says that in Ephesians chapter 1, it says, I think verse 9 or so, to know the 8 and 9, the unsearchable riches of Christ.
[15:33] You can't finish searching it.
[15:34] So, all your life, you keep searching and knowing about the depths of Christ.
[15:39] The depths, his redemptive work.
[15:43] The implications, the nuances of all that he has done for us.
[15:46] His mediatory work on the cross, or on the throne.
[15:51] His mercies.
[15:53] The place of his blood.
[15:55] The things he has brought us into.
[15:56] This is what, it's sad that there are believers.
[15:59] When you say justification, what's that?
[16:03] You say, propitiation, what's that?
[16:05] That they want, nowadays new ones are coming.
[16:07] Altars.
[16:08] Let me tell you, altar is not a New Testament word.
[16:14] Altar is not a New Testament.
[16:16] I build an altar.
[16:17] Especially, when people say, they don't mean it negatively.
[16:20] But we have to be careful, we don't move so far away from biblical terminologies.
[16:25] You call it, create platform for the enemy to operate easily.
[16:27] When you go to shrines, they have altars.
[16:32] But this is a pulpit, a podium, a stage.
[16:35] We've just put the pulpit to address.
[16:37] It doesn't carry power.
[16:39] What brings the power is the delivery of God's word.
[16:43] You don't need to build an altar in your house.
[16:45] Eventually, it becomes a shrine.
[16:48] The altar must be in your spirit.
[16:50] For the hour is coming and now has come.
[16:56] When the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth.
[17:02] John chapter 4, verse 23 and 24.
[17:06] For God is the spirit.
[17:11] That's why when he died on the cross and he said, it's finished.
[17:13] The last time, the curtain in the temple in Matthew 27.
[17:17] It was done.
[17:18] Because no more is God restricted to a location.
[17:24] So instead of knowing biblical words, that mean a lot to our redemption.
[17:30] Our Christ-like walk.
[17:32] Biblical terminologies that enrich our depths in what we have been brought into.
[17:39] We are abandoning that and going for new age terminologies.
[17:45] Portals.
[17:48] Energies.
[17:51] Rubbish.
[17:52] Somebody learning something.
[17:55] So in 1st, 2nd Peter is telling us, according to the knowledge of him who has called us into glory and virtue.
[18:03] Watch this.
[18:04] Look at the verse 4.
[18:05] That's what it means to be a Christian.
[18:10] That through this you might be partakers, sharers of the divine nature.
[18:17] Can you imagine?
[18:18] A human being who shares the divine nature.
[18:21] That's what it means to be a Christian.
[18:24] He said in Colossians chapter 3, verse 4.
[18:27] When Christ, who is our life?
[18:32] That is Christianity.
[18:33] It's not a set of rules.
[18:35] It's not a set of rules you obey, but it's the life of Christ that is.
[18:39] Ah, I feel like preaching.
[18:41] The life of Christ.
[18:42] That's why it says that let the word of God dwell in you richly.
[18:49] Colossians 3, verse 15.
[18:52] Somebody learning something.
[18:54] This is what Christianity is about.
[18:56] The more we move away from it, we become like puppets.
[19:00] We become like comedians.
[19:02] And unbelievers look at the church and say, oh, well, they don't respect the church because they don't know what we've got.
[19:08] And even what we've got, we've abandoned it.
[19:12] Christianity is not about rules.
[19:14] However, we have a divine nature, so we should be able to live a certain standard.
[19:19] So back to my opening text.
[19:22] Ephesians chapter 5, verse 1.
[19:25] It says that be ye followers or imitators of God as dearly be children.
[19:31] You are dear children.
[19:33] So a child can be like his father.
[19:35] Why do you think Jesus always was saying, addressing God as my father, my father, my father.
[19:41] It's more representative of the fact that I am the...
[19:46] He said, if you have seen me.
[19:53] That's why he kept calling him father, which was reminiscent of shared nature.
[19:58] So he said, before, when you are praying, go to God as a child and address him as a father.
[20:06] Daddy, I got your nature.
[20:08] He said, because we are sons.
[20:12] Galatians chapter 4, verse 5.
[20:14] Because we are sons.
[20:16] He has sent forth the spirit of his sonship into a heart, which cries, other father.
[20:20] When the Christians say, father.
[20:22] It's not cosmetic.
[20:24] It's deep from the heart.
[20:26] And it's not just on our mind, from our minds.
[20:29] It's deep in our spirit.
[20:31] Sometimes you are even asleep in your subconsciousness.
[20:34] You know God is your father.
[20:36] Because Romans chapter 8, verse 15.
[20:39] It says that we have not been called into bondage.
[20:42] For we did not receive a spirit of bondage against fear, but received a spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.
[20:50] Shout, Abba, Father.
[20:55] How can someone, a Muslim, a Hindu, confuse me on the grounds of religion?
[21:04] I'm talking about the life.
[21:05] We are dealing with life.
[21:08] We are also dealing with ideas.
[21:10] Different platforms.
[21:13] Different platforms.
[21:15] We are sons of God.
[21:18] It says the spirit of God.
[21:20] Verse 16, Romans 8.
[21:22] Best witness.
[21:26] It's not an idea.
[21:28] There is a witness inside my spirit.
[21:32] It's not because we teach in church.
[21:35] That's why you know you are a child of God.
[21:36] But there is an internal witness that cannot be eroded.
[21:40] That cannot be washed away by any human being.
[21:43] Because it's deep inside.
[21:44] So when, you see, that is why you come and debate me, Christianity.
[21:48] You are on the wrong platform.
[21:50] Because I'm operating.
[21:52] Mine is an issue of life.
[21:54] Yours is an issue of idea.
[21:56] When I read my Bible, I'm feeding.
[22:00] Because of the life of God I've got, I'm able to feed on this thing.
[22:05] But when you read the Bible, you are looking for ideas.
[22:10] So you're okay.
[22:11] But if the Bible is saying, why do you?
[22:12] I know you understand it because you cannot be fed.
[22:14] How can I feed a lion with grass?
[22:19] It's not your nature.
[22:20] You can't take it.
[22:22] But me, when I come and I'm even looking for ideas.
[22:25] Before I could say, I feed.
[22:27] This thing is feeding me.
[22:29] This thing is feeding me.
[22:31] This thing is feeding me.
[22:32] Something is happening on my inside.
[22:35] Then the Spirit of God inside me begins to react to the Word.
[22:38] Then my Spirit begins to say, Abba, Father.
[22:41] Abba, Father.
[22:43] Abba, Father.
[22:44] Abba, Father.
[22:45] Somebody shout, Abba, Father.
[22:47] Abba, Father.
[22:48] Abba, Father.
[22:49] Abba, Father.
[22:49] Oh, yes.
[22:50] If I will shout my Lord, that's Hallelujah.
[22:52] Hallelujah.
[22:55] When you know Jesus this way, you never care how unbelievers think about you.
[23:01] Because you are so convinced that Father forgive them.
[23:10] You cannot Christ this way and envy an unbeliever.
[23:14] Is it for his car?
[23:16] For his house?
[23:17] For his hair?
[23:18] For his looks?
[23:18] For what?
[23:20] Because all men and the glory of their is like grass.
[23:27] The flower faded.
[23:29] The flower falleth away.
[23:30] But the Word of God abided.
[23:36] Somebody shout, Hallelujah.
[23:42] So, if you think, you may think, why are these people so excited because we have Jesus?
[23:49] We are so excited, it's not making you feel, see how lost you are.
[23:54] You only come alive at the nightclub.
[23:57] You only come alive when you are taking spliff.
[24:00] You only come alive with alcohol.
[24:02] We don't need alcohol.
[24:04] All we need is the Word.
[24:06] Something on my inside.
[24:08] Something on my inside.
[24:09] Something on my inside.
[24:11] Somebody scream.
[24:12] It's like fire in my balls.
[24:22] Yeah, it's okay to shout your hallelujah.
[24:27] So it says,
[24:28] we have the divine nature.
[24:33] And so because we have the divine nature,
[24:35] because we have the divine nature,
[24:41] the scripture can admonish us to imitate God
[24:47] as dear children.
[24:50] Why? Because you have the nature.
[24:52] You have the DNA of God.
[24:56] That's what it means.
[24:58] Then the verse 2 says,
[25:00] this is getting interesting.
[25:05] You are a Christian,
[25:07] and you are so hateful.
[25:11] In what way does that reflect the nature of God?
[25:14] You are so unforgiving.
[25:18] You are so bitter.
[25:20] Huh?
[25:22] No.
[25:23] A lot of things have happened in my life.
[25:26] But sorry, you have the nature of God now.
[25:29] You can choose to live based on that nature
[25:31] or based on your carnal instincts.
[25:35] He says,
[25:37] walk in love.
[25:40] Stop talking about how people should love me.
[25:44] There's no way you are commanded to be loved in the Bible.
[25:47] The Bible never commands to be loved.
[25:50] He commands us to love.
[25:52] Love.
[25:53] So he said,
[25:58] if you have the divine nature,
[25:59] walk in love.
[26:01] Demonstrate love.
[26:03] Love is kind.
[26:05] love is patient
[26:09] love does not
[26:11] rejoice in evil
[26:12] you see something bad that's happening to the other one
[26:15] you are so jealous of that lady's
[26:17] dress that when it ripped
[26:19] at the back you say yes I need to
[26:21] rip
[26:21] that's the human nature taking over your divine nature
[26:30] so it says walk in the spirit so you're not
[26:33] fulfilled because the human
[26:35] nature is still there the fact that you are born
[26:37] again doesn't mean your human nature
[26:39] has been eradicated it's still
[26:41] there and the flesh
[26:43] God doesn't plan to save your flesh
[26:45] so you don't have to walk in the flesh
[26:47] you have to walk in the spirit
[26:49] and then the nature of God begins to manifest
[26:51] except
[26:52] and they didn't just say walk in love
[26:55] but it goes a bit deeper
[26:57] it said walk in love
[26:58] ask so you see our example
[27:01] your example is not pastor
[27:03] your example is not your father who says he's a Christian
[27:08] your mother who says he's a Christian
[27:10] your sister who says she was a Christian
[27:12] I mean they're speaking in tongues
[27:13] blah blah blah
[27:14] but if you touch your food
[27:15] she will curse you
[27:16] yeah some people
[27:19] when they fast and they go
[27:22] they're going to break their fast
[27:23] and someone has eaten their puff puff
[27:25] they're going to eat
[27:26] all hell break loose
[27:28] who is that
[27:29] I've told you I don't like that
[27:30] you will die
[27:31] you know
[27:31] you know
[27:35] you know
[27:36] I want to show you something
[27:38] very more critical
[27:40] than
[27:41] don't do this
[27:42] don't do that
[27:43] it's first of all
[27:45] starts with the life of Christ
[27:47] in you
[27:47] so that if you can yield more to Christ
[27:51] you don't look for what not to do
[27:54] that's important
[27:56] religion tells you what not to do
[27:58] Christ tells you
[28:00] and gives you a life to live
[28:02] do you understand that
[28:05] I am crucified with Christ
[28:07] never the lives
[28:09] yet not I
[28:10] but Christ who lives
[28:12] did you see Christianity there
[28:13] Galatians 2 20
[28:15] Christ who lives in me
[28:16] and the life that I now live
[28:18] I live by the faith of the son of God
[28:21] who loved me
[28:23] and gave himself for me
[28:24] so that's where addiction comes
[28:28] under
[28:28] arrest
[28:29] the life of Christ
[28:32] it can cancel any addiction
[28:34] addiction
[28:35] addiction
[28:37] every addiction is demonic
[28:38] every addiction is
[28:41] a reflection of demonization
[28:43] demons are trying to hijack your life
[28:46] and control your life
[28:47] yeah
[28:48] I know you look so
[28:50] much like an angel
[28:51] but this addiction
[28:53] when it comes
[28:54] you are like a devil
[28:55] so
[28:57] every addiction
[28:58] is a reflection of
[28:59] satanic hijack
[29:02] so the love is asking
[29:05] is the ability to give yourself
[29:07] for others
[29:08] he says
[29:10] okay
[29:10] and off
[29:11] watch this
[29:12] let's grant
[29:13] he's correct
[29:14] okay
[29:15] so let's see how God gave you
[29:17] Christ gave himself
[29:18] for us
[29:20] not to us
[29:20] for your information
[29:21] but you let's assume he means to us
[29:23] to us
[29:23] he gave himself for us
[29:25] an offering and a sacrifice to God
[29:28] for a sweet smelling aroma
[29:30] sweet smelling aroma
[29:33] Jesus offered himself
[29:36] as a sweet smelling
[29:39] listen this is very interesting
[29:40] he offers himself for us
[29:44] watch this
[29:46] he did everything he did for us
[29:49] Galatians 1 4
[29:50] he did everything he did for us
[29:53] he gave
[29:54] who gave himself
[29:55] for our sins
[29:57] he did everything he did for us
[30:00] and yet
[30:02] guess who was enjoying it
[30:03] God
[30:04] back to the text
[30:08] Ephesians 5 2
[30:10] Christ also loved us
[30:13] and gave
[30:14] and giving himself for us
[30:16] and offering
[30:18] and a sacrifice
[30:19] to God
[30:20] for a sweet
[30:22] God said
[30:23] I like this
[30:24] I like this
[30:26] he
[30:26] how
[30:27] what made him like it
[30:28] he was sacrificing himself for us
[30:30] but God was enjoying it
[30:32] and he said this
[30:33] how you should love others
[30:34] it's in your Bible
[30:40] as dear children of God
[30:43] that this is
[30:44] walk in this kind of love
[30:46] love that makes God enjoy you
[30:50] you love others
[30:52] you show them love for the sake of Christ
[30:55] and it makes God enjoy you
[31:00] in Genesis chapter 8 verse 21
[31:04] the Bible says that
[31:06] when Noah came out of the flood
[31:08] the sacrifice
[31:09] and the Lord
[31:10] watch this
[31:11] this is nice
[31:12] this is nice
[31:13] don't mind the people
[31:14] who have
[31:15] hijacked
[31:16] the symbols in scripture
[31:17] it's also a reflection
[31:19] of demon possession
[31:20] and the Lord
[31:23] smelled
[31:24] a soothing aroma
[31:26] may your life be like that
[31:27] and the Lord
[31:31] smelled
[31:31] a soothing aroma
[31:32] then
[31:33] the Lord
[31:33] said in his heart
[31:34] I will never
[31:36] again
[31:36] kiss
[31:37] the ground
[31:38] for man's sake
[31:39] although the imaginations
[31:41] of man's heart
[31:41] is evil from his youth
[31:43] nor will I again destroy
[31:45] every living thing
[31:46] as I have done
[31:47] the
[31:48] the sacrifice
[31:49] Noah gave to God
[31:50] God liked it so much
[31:52] God swore
[31:52] he swore
[31:54] and the Bible says that
[31:55] it's when
[31:56] God smelled it
[31:57] and he said
[31:58] I will never
[32:00] God said in his heart
[32:01] I will never
[32:02] again
[32:03] curse
[32:03] curse the ground
[32:05] for man's sake
[32:06] one sacrifice
[32:08] and that sacrifice
[32:10] Noah gave
[32:11] watch this
[32:11] it's a reflection
[32:13] of Christ's sacrifice
[32:14] and Bible says that
[32:17] that sacrifice
[32:18] Christ gave
[32:19] God smelt it
[32:20] and it wasn't only
[32:21] it was all
[32:22] replete
[32:23] in Leviticus chapter 1
[32:24] I think the verse 9
[32:25] it tells us
[32:26] that sweet
[32:27] when God told them
[32:28] to give sacrifices
[32:29] he told them
[32:30] sweet smell
[32:31] Leviticus chapter 1
[32:32] verse 9
[32:33] Leviticus chapter 2
[32:34] verse 2
[32:35] Leviticus chapter 2
[32:36] verse 9
[32:37] Leviticus chapter 3
[32:38] verse 5
[32:38] Leviticus chapter 3
[32:39] verse 16
[32:40] all tells you about
[32:41] God requires
[32:43] he said
[32:44] burn the offering
[32:44] it to be a sweet
[32:45] smelling aroma
[32:46] to God
[32:47] that was reminiscent
[32:48] of Jesus Christ's work
[32:49] so all
[32:51] what was going on
[32:51] in the Old Testament
[32:52] was foreshadowing
[32:54] the actual
[32:55] sacrifice of Jesus
[32:56] and the actual
[32:57] sacrifice of Jesus
[32:58] was that he gave
[32:59] himself for us
[33:00] out of love
[33:02] and now God
[33:04] calls us
[33:04] as children of God
[33:06] to also love
[33:07] as Christ loves
[33:08] by so doing
[33:10] you know
[33:10] it's not every
[33:11] breakthrough
[33:11] you have to pray for
[33:13] oh no
[33:15] a lot of
[33:17] God giving
[33:18] breakthroughs
[33:19] is not
[33:19] a matter of
[33:20] answer to prayers
[33:22] a lot of
[33:23] God giving
[33:24] breakthroughs
[33:24] is a matter
[33:25] of life
[33:26] in Christ
[33:27] living a certain
[33:27] life
[33:28] and the resultant
[33:29] effect
[33:29] it says
[33:34] look at this
[33:34] if God
[33:35] there's the song
[33:37] writer
[33:37] the song
[33:37] we've been singing
[33:38] he says that
[33:39] um
[33:40] he's my worship
[33:42] take joy
[33:44] in it
[33:45] make it your
[33:47] dwelling place
[33:48] I wanna put a
[33:49] smile on your
[33:51] face
[33:51] I present
[33:53] my
[33:54] heart
[33:55] to you
[33:56] oh Lord
[34:00] !
[34:01] I present
[34:02] my
[34:02] to you
[34:02] heart
[34:03] here's my
[34:04] worship
[34:04] here's my
[34:05] worship
[34:06] take joy
[34:08] in it
[34:08] take joy
[34:09] in it
[34:10] make it your
[34:11] dwelling place
[34:12] make it your
[34:13] dwelling place
[34:14] I wanna put a
[34:15] smile on your
[34:15] face
[34:16] I wanna put a
[34:17] smile
[34:17] on your
[34:18] face
[34:19] I
[34:20] praise
[34:20] my
[34:21] heart
[34:23] to you
[34:24] oh Lord
[34:26] I
[34:27] praise
[34:27] my
[34:28] heart
[34:31] to you
[34:31] and it
[34:32] goes like
[34:33] this
[34:33] he's my
[34:35] worship
[34:36] it's like
[34:36] it's like
[34:37] you come
[34:37] before God
[34:38] and he said
[34:39] he's my
[34:39] worship
[34:40] smile
[34:40] he's my
[34:42] life
[34:43] Lord
[34:43] smile
[34:45] oh
[34:46] he's my
[34:49] worship
[34:50] smile
[34:51] oh
[34:52] oh yes
[34:53] he's my
[34:56] life
[34:56] Lord
[34:57] smile
[34:58] God
[34:59] doesn't want
[35:00] you to do
[35:00] anything for him
[35:01] but you can
[35:02] put a
[35:02] smile on
[35:03] God's
[35:03] face
[35:03] by offering
[35:06] a sweet
[35:08] smelling
[35:09] sacrifice
[35:11] that
[35:11] a sacrifice
[35:12] that has
[35:12] a sweet
[35:13] smelling
[35:13] aroma
[35:14] and he has
[35:15] told us
[35:15] categorically
[35:16] what that
[35:16] kind of
[35:17] sacrifice
[35:17] can be
[35:18] your love
[35:19] for the
[35:20] brethren
[35:20] your love
[35:21] if you
[35:22] walk in
[35:23] love
[35:23] you can
[35:24] make God
[35:24] smile
[35:24] and when
[35:25] God smiles
[35:26] on you
[35:27] I'm telling
[35:28] you there's
[35:28] no way
[35:28] you're going
[35:29] down in
[35:29] life
[35:30] a lot
[35:32] of things
[35:32] you don't
[35:32] have to
[35:33] pray for
[35:33] before they
[35:34] are answered
[35:34] because God
[35:36] is always
[35:36] smiling
[35:37] you see how
[35:39] easy it can
[35:40] be
[35:40] the work
[35:41] is not
[35:42] just in
[35:42] the prayer
[35:43] if I were
[35:44] you I
[35:44] would rather
[35:45] be praying
[35:45] for grace
[35:46] to be able
[35:46] to make
[35:46] God smile
[35:47] instead of
[35:48] asking God
[35:49] I need
[35:49] the money
[35:49] I need
[35:50] a job
[35:50] I need
[35:51] a
[35:51] can you
[35:51] start
[35:52] praying
[35:52] for grace
[35:54] to obey
[35:54] God
[35:54] because
[35:57] when you
[35:57] obey God
[35:58] a lot
[35:58] of things
[35:58] logically
[35:59] follow
[35:59] automatically
[36:00] by default
[36:02] blessings
[36:04] he said
[36:05] even if
[36:05] a man's
[36:06] way
[36:06] please
[36:06] the Lord
[36:07] he will
[36:07] make
[36:08] even
[36:08] his
[36:08] enemies
[36:09] to be
[36:09] at peace
[36:09] with him
[36:10] God
[36:11] kill
[36:11] my enemies
[36:12] God
[36:12] kill
[36:12] my
[36:13] I don't
[36:13] know
[36:13] why
[36:13] they
[36:13] don't
[36:13] like
[36:14] me
[36:14] God
[36:14] can you
[36:15] concentrate
[36:15] on your
[36:16] life
[36:16] to make
[36:17] your way
[36:17] please
[36:17] the Lord
[36:18] think about
[36:23] how you
[36:23] please
[36:24] God
[36:24] stop
[36:25] comparing
[36:26] yourself
[36:26] to others
[36:27] and start
[36:27] comparing
[36:28] yourself
[36:28] to Christ
[36:29] you feel
[36:31] you are
[36:31] better
[36:31] because
[36:31] you are
[36:32] comparing
[36:32] yourself
[36:32] to others
[36:33] and your
[36:34] neighbors
[36:35] because
[36:35] they are
[36:36] bad boys
[36:36] they are
[36:36] bad girls
[36:37] they are
[36:37] not that
[36:37] good
[36:38] you are
[36:38] worse
[36:39] when you
[36:40] compare
[36:40] yourself
[36:40] to Christ
[36:42] you realize
[36:43] how bad
[36:43] you are
[36:43] and that
[36:44] will make
[36:44] you feel
[36:45] help me
[36:46] God
[36:46] and push
[36:47] more
[36:47] I don't
[36:49] want to
[36:49] belabor
[36:50] the point
[36:50] today
[36:51] I am
[36:51] just
[36:51] staying
[36:52] on
[36:52] verse
[36:52] 2
[36:53] and
[36:53] done
[36:53] it
[36:55] says
[36:56] walk
[36:56] in
[36:57] love
[36:58] can you
[36:59] look at
[36:59] somebody
[36:59] and tell
[36:59] the person
[37:00] you can
[37:01] walk
[37:01] in
[37:01] love
[37:01] I know
[37:04] there are
[37:04] some of
[37:04] you have
[37:05] a lot
[37:05] of pain
[37:05] in your
[37:05] heart
[37:06] listen
[37:07] to me
[37:07] brothers
[37:07] and sisters
[37:08] as I run
[37:08] up
[37:08] I know
[37:09] there are
[37:09] some of
[37:10] you have
[37:10] a lot
[37:10] of pain
[37:11] in your
[37:11] heart
[37:11] things have
[37:12] happened
[37:12] in your
[37:13] life
[37:13] I don't
[37:14] know
[37:14] about
[37:14] and I
[37:15] don't
[37:15] intend
[37:16] to know
[37:16] and I
[37:17] don't
[37:17] need
[37:17] to
[37:17] know
[37:17] but
[37:19] God
[37:20] can
[37:21] polish
[37:21] your
[37:21] life
[37:21] in a
[37:23] way
[37:23] that
[37:24] the
[37:24] past
[37:24] doesn't
[37:25] hurt
[37:25] anymore
[37:25] that's
[37:28] the way
[37:28] you can
[37:28] live your
[37:28] life
[37:28] to allow
[37:29] God
[37:29] to
[37:30] flaunt
[37:31] his
[37:31] glory
[37:31] in your
[37:32] life
[37:32] God
[37:34] is always
[37:34] looking
[37:34] in fact
[37:35] Chronicles
[37:36] says that
[37:36] the eyes
[37:36] of the
[37:37] Lord
[37:37] move
[37:37] through
[37:37] and
[37:38] through
[37:38] the
[37:38] whole
[37:38] earth
[37:38] seeking
[37:39] to
[37:39] show
[37:39] himself
[37:40] strong
[37:40] in the
[37:41] behalf
[37:41] of those
[37:42] whose
[37:42] hearts
[37:42] are
[37:42] right
[37:43] towards
[37:43] him
[37:43] chapter
[37:44] 16
[37:45] verse 9
[37:45] or 9
[37:46] 16
[37:46] Chronicles
[37:47] 1 Chronicles
[37:48] 2 Chronicles
[37:49] 69
[37:49] the eyes
[37:50] of the
[37:50] Lord
[37:50] ran
[37:50] through
[37:51] and
[37:51] through
[37:51] the
[37:51] whole
[37:51] earth
[37:51] to
[37:52] show
[37:52] himself
[37:52] strong
[37:53] in the
[37:53] behalf
[37:53] of those
[37:54] whose
[37:54] hearts
[37:54] are
[37:55] loyal
[37:55] whose
[37:57] hearts
[37:57] are
[37:57] right
[37:57] towards
[37:58] him
[37:58] perfect
[38:00] towards
[38:00] him
[38:01] though
[38:02] it's not
[38:03] every battle
[38:04] you need
[38:04] to fight
[38:05] to win
[38:05] 2 Chronicles
[38:07] chapter 20
[38:08] verse 15
[38:09] he tells
[38:09] the rubble
[38:10] you don't
[38:10] need to
[38:11] fight
[38:11] in this
[38:11] battle
[38:12] for the
[38:13] battle
[38:14] is not
[38:14] yours
[38:15] but God
[38:16] you don't
[38:16] need to
[38:17] fight
[38:17] in this
[38:17] battle
[38:17] you will
[38:18] win
[38:18] listen
[38:19] it's not
[38:20] every victory
[38:21] you have to
[38:21] fight
[38:21] before you
[38:22] get
[38:22] when you
[38:23] learn how
[38:24] to walk
[38:24] with Christ
[38:25] genuinely
[38:26] and make
[38:26] him smile
[38:27] Bible says
[38:28] that thanks
[38:28] be to God
[38:29] who always
[38:30] gives us
[38:31] the victory
[38:31] through Christ
[38:32] Jesus Christ
[38:33] there are
[38:33] some victories
[38:34] that
[38:34] are given
[38:35] it's a
[38:35] donation
[38:36] you don't
[38:36] have to
[38:36] fight
[38:36] for it
[38:37] many of
[38:40] you here
[38:40] are so
[38:40] young
[38:41] that's
[38:43] what makes
[38:43] you a
[38:44] very
[38:44] enviable
[38:44] person
[38:45] or an
[38:46] enviable
[38:47] object
[38:47] you are
[38:48] enviable
[38:49] not that
[38:50] you are
[38:50] envious
[38:51] your life
[38:52] is worth
[38:53] envy
[38:53] why
[38:54] because
[38:55] when you
[38:55] start
[38:55] early
[38:56] working
[38:56] with God
[38:57] pleasing
[38:57] God
[38:58] early
[38:58] your future
[38:59] will be
[38:59] so
[39:00] colorful
[39:00] beautiful
[39:03] future
[39:04] beautiful
[39:05] listen
[39:06] I started
[39:06] working with
[39:07] God
[39:07] from my
[39:07] youth
[39:07] and I
[39:09] wasn't
[39:09] just doing
[39:09] church
[39:10] church
[39:10] go to
[39:11] church
[39:11] and a
[39:11] bad boy
[39:12] church
[39:12] no
[39:13] I was
[39:14] working
[39:14] with
[39:14] Christ
[39:14] genuinely
[39:16] and see
[39:17] see
[39:19] praise
[39:21] you use
[39:23] your own
[39:23] ideas
[39:23] for me
[39:23] you keep
[39:25] your eyes
[39:25] for me
[39:25] and give
[39:26] us 15
[39:26] years
[39:26] you see
[39:27] the difference
[39:27] you see
[39:29] the difference
[39:29] it will
[39:29] be like
[39:30] day
[39:30] and night
[39:31] serve
[39:35] God
[39:35] work
[39:36] with
[39:36] God
[39:36] obey
[39:37] his
[39:37] word
[39:38] or let
[39:39] his
[39:39] life
[39:39] be
[39:39] expressed
[39:40] to you
[39:40] work
[39:41] with
[39:41] Christ
[39:42] be a
[39:43] Christian
[39:43] not just
[39:44] a church
[39:44] goer
[39:45] be a
[39:46] Christian
[39:47] be a
[39:48] Christian
[39:49] don't just
[39:50] have a
[39:50] Bible
[39:50] believe
[39:51] in the
[39:51] Bible
[39:51] be a
[39:54] Christian
[39:55] don't think
[39:56] you are
[39:56] doing it
[39:56] for somebody
[39:57] you need
[39:58] more help
[39:58] than anybody
[39:59] some of
[40:00] you want
[40:00] to look
[40:00] at you
[40:01] you look
[40:01] at your
[40:02] life
[40:02] are you
[40:02] happy
[40:02] with the
[40:03] way
[40:03] your
[40:03] life
[40:03] is
[40:03] and yet
[40:04] you come
[40:04] to church
[40:05] feeling you are
[40:05] so important
[40:06] you
[40:08] humble yourself
[40:09] who do you
[40:12] think you are
[40:12] humble yourself
[40:13] you are
[40:16] coming to
[40:16] church
[40:16] it's like
[40:17] go to the
[40:17] doctors
[40:18] and you
[40:18] have
[40:18] rashes
[40:18] all over
[40:19] you
[40:19] and go
[40:19] to church
[40:20] because
[40:20] you are
[40:20] wearing
[40:20] Louis Vuitton
[40:21] belt
[40:22] and shoes
[40:22] so
[40:22] excuse me
[40:23] nesses
[40:24] hey
[40:24] please
[40:25] we don't
[40:26] do that
[40:26] here
[40:26] blessed are
[40:31] the poor
[40:32] in spirit
[40:32] let God
[40:36] know that
[40:37] you need
[40:37] him
[40:37] prove to
[40:38] God
[40:38] you are
[40:39] genuine
[40:39] about
[40:39] his help
[40:40] and
[40:41] because of
[40:42] that
[40:42] you are
[40:42] not
[40:42] ashamed
[40:42] to say
[40:43] God
[40:43] help
[40:43] me
[40:43] some
[40:44] people
[40:44] feel so
[40:45] big
[40:45] when God
[40:46] said
[40:46] do you want
[40:47] to call me
[40:47] so I can
[40:47] help you
[40:48] say God
[40:48] I don't
[40:49] want anybody
[40:49] to know
[40:49] I'm calling
[40:50] you
[40:50] oh
[40:51] okay
[40:51] then die
[40:51] your
[40:52] problems
[40:52] God will
[40:55] help
[40:55] you
[40:55] there is a
[40:59] reason why
[40:59] God led
[41:01] you here
[41:01] today
[41:02] so one
[41:04] day
[41:04] you will
[41:05] say
[41:05] God
[41:06] you
[41:06] didn't
[41:06] care
[41:06] about
[41:06] me
[41:07] these
[41:07] words
[41:08] you
[41:08] are
[41:08] hearing
[41:08] are not
[41:08] by accident
[41:09] some of
[41:11] you as I'm
[41:11] preaching
[41:12] it's like
[41:12] somebody else
[41:13] is talking
[41:13] to you
[41:14] because I
[41:15] hear
[41:15] it's like
[41:16] the pastor
[41:16] why is he
[41:17] talking to
[41:17] me
[41:17] I didn't
[41:18] even know
[41:18] I'm
[41:18] talking to
[41:18] you
[41:19] it's
[41:19] God
[41:19] who is
[41:19] talking
[41:19] to
[41:20] you
[41:20] God
[41:21] don't
[41:21] know
[41:22] you
[41:22] we
[41:23] didn't
[41:23] sleep
[41:23] on
[41:24] the
[41:24] same
[41:24] bed
[41:24] did
[41:24] we
[41:24] no
[41:26] but you
[41:27] know
[41:27] God
[41:28] knows
[41:28] you
[41:29] he wants
[41:29] to help
[41:29] you
[41:30] he wants
[41:30] to bless
[41:30] you
[41:30] he wants
[41:31] to use
[41:31] you
[41:31] and I'm
[41:32] showing you
[41:32] the master
[41:33] key
[41:33] learn to
[41:34] put a smile
[41:35] on God's
[41:35] face
[41:35] how do you
[41:36] do it
[41:36] if you're
[41:37] a Christian
[41:37] it's so
[41:38] easy
[41:38] live the
[41:39] life of
[41:39] Christ
[41:39] and walk
[41:40] in love
[41:40] God will
[41:42] smile on
[41:42] you
[41:42] see if
[41:44] you get
[41:44] a better
[41:44] job
[41:45] see if
[41:46] you
[41:46] do
[41:47] well
[41:47] !
[41:47] in ministry
[41:47] see if
[41:50] you won't
[41:50] get a
[41:50] good
[41:50] marriage
[41:51] many
[41:52] bad
[41:53] marriages
[41:53] are
[41:53] because
[41:54] God
[41:54] is
[41:54] not
[41:54] smiling
[41:54] on
[41:55] people
[41:55] pastor
[41:59] explain it
[41:59] oh it's
[42:00] easy to
[42:00] explain
[42:01] it's
[42:03] easy to
[42:03] explain
[42:03] how
[42:05] Bible
[42:05] says
[42:05] love
[42:06] is
[42:06] stronger
[42:06] than
[42:06] death
[42:07] if
[42:08] I
[42:09] love
[42:09] you
[42:09] so
[42:09] much
[42:10] what
[42:11] can
[42:11] you
[42:11] do
[42:11] even
[42:14] if
[42:14] you
[42:14] are
[42:14] married
[42:15] to
[42:15] a
[42:15] devil
[42:15] love
[42:16] can
[42:16] paralyze
[42:17] their
[42:18] demonic
[42:18] instincts
[42:19] love
[42:22] is
[42:23] stronger
[42:23] than
[42:24] death
[42:25] for
[42:25] love
[42:26] is
[42:28] strong
[42:29] as
[42:29] death
[42:30] love
[42:34] love
[42:35] people
[42:36] some
[42:36] of
[42:36] you
[42:37] how do
[42:37] you
[42:37] start
[42:37] by
[42:38] forgiving
[42:39] forgive
[42:41] it hurts
[42:43] so bad
[42:43] God knows
[42:44] it but
[42:44] he wants
[42:44] to help
[42:45] you
[42:45] don't do
[42:46] it in
[42:46] your
[42:47] strength
[42:47] you'll be
[42:48] able to
[42:48] do it
[42:48] Bible
[42:50] says
[42:50] the
[42:50] arm
[42:50] of
[42:50] flesh
[42:51] will
[42:51] fail
[42:51] you
[42:52] don't
[42:53] do it
[42:53] in
[42:53] your
[42:53] strength
[42:53] don't
[42:54] try and
[42:54] obey
[42:55] God
[42:55] in
[42:55] your
[42:55] strength
[42:56] you don't
[42:56] have
[42:56] what
[42:56] it
[42:57] takes
[42:57] that's
[42:57] why
[42:57] I said
[42:57] imitate
[42:58] God
[42:58] ask
[42:59] dear
[43:00] children
[43:00] well
[43:03] I think
[43:04] I've said
[43:04] enough
[43:05] you want to
[43:07] pray a
[43:07] simple prayer
[43:08] don't ask him
[43:09] for money
[43:09] don't ask him
[43:10] for blessings
[43:11] ask him
[43:12] for grace
[43:13] to make
