[0:38] One of the main reasons,
[0:45] and the core reasons,
[0:48] and the practical reasons,
[0:52] and the most central, essential reasons
[0:57] why we pray,
[1:00] is because God answers prayers.
[1:07] That's why we pray.
[1:09] So those of you who have been praying,
[1:13] it means your answers are on their way.
[1:15] Amen!
[1:16] Amen!
[1:19] There's something I just want to draw to your attention this evening,
[1:28] that yesterday's prayers have not been forgotten.
[1:33] When you pray,
[1:37] it stays in an archive.
[1:41] So Cornelius was told,
[1:43] your prayer have come,
[1:45] and your arms have come before God for a memorial.
[1:50] That means,
[1:51] all the prayers you have been praying
[1:53] are accumulating.
[1:54] No one prayer by a believer in faith
[2:02] goes unnoticed.
[2:04] And sometimes,
[2:07] what happens is that,
[2:09] God gathers the prayers,
[2:12] and then one day,
[2:14] all the prayers,
[2:17] if you say one day,
[2:17] the answers just are pulled on you.

[2:21] That is why,
[2:23] the fact that you prayed yesterday,
[2:26] does not mean you shouldn't pray today.
[2:30] Because yesterday's prayer has become
[2:32] a platform for today's prayer.
[2:35] When you look at this building,
[2:36] it's full of blocks.
[2:39] Blocks.
[2:41] You need first layer of blocks
[2:43] before you can have the second layer of blocks.
[2:44] So you get to the place,
[2:48] the top where you put the metal,
[2:51] steel beam.

[8:07] one of her sisters
[8:08] just started praying
[8:09] for her own sister
[8:11] and the sister
[8:12] reached out to her
[8:13] and said,
[8:14] I admire you
[8:15] or something
[8:16] and got back
[8:17] to church
[8:18] and read it.
[8:19] Just small prayers.
[8:20] She herself
[8:21] was surprised.
[8:22] That God,
[8:23] I didn't know
[8:23] you answered
[8:23] this thing so quickly.
[8:25] Oh,
[8:25] there are some prayers
[8:26] God answered
[8:26] very quickly.

[8:28] when it comes
[8:29] to personal testimonies
[8:30] or personal breakthroughs
[8:32] and personal comfort,
[8:34] God is not too quickly

[8:39] it's part of God's package.

[8:42] when discomfort
[8:43] hits your life
[8:44] and it is not
[8:46] helping you
[8:47] and it is hurting you

[8:49] pour out your heart
[8:50] before God,
[8:51] God is most likely

[8:53] especially
[8:54] if you tie it
