[0:52] I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherein you were called,
[0:59] with all lowliness and longs and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love,
[1:05] endeavoring to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace.
[1:11] There is one body, one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling.
[1:21] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all. Amen.
[1:31] How many ones did we just, as I mentioned, there are seven ones. Let's count them.
[1:37] It says that, for there is one body, one, one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father of all.
[1:56] Endeavor to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.
[2:08] I explained that the word translated unity actually means oneness.
[2:16] Oneness is stronger than unity.
[2:21] Oneness, that word oneness is stronger than the word unity.
[2:33] Make every effort in the amplified version.
[2:37] Make every effort to keep the word oneness.
[2:45] Pastor, what's the difference between oneness and unity?
[2:51] Uniformity.
[2:52] There is certainly a major difference between uniformity and unity, which I mentioned in the previous teachings.
[3:06] Before I go on to what I was talking about, the unity, don't forget, unity and uniformity.
[3:12] And those of you who intend to be preachers, you are joking if you haven't started building a personal relationship with your Bible.
[3:22] God ain't going to use you.
[3:24] You are going to be a fraud.
[3:27] I said the last thing, if you have any desire to preach, without a discipline to prepare, it's a desire to perform.
[3:43] We have a lot of performers behind puppeteers.
[3:46] Some of them are online, performing and performing and performing.
[3:55] what makes a person a preacher is three things a preacher god in fact you know
[4:04] in Romans chapter 10 is a who shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved
[4:10] then the verse 40 says that how shall they call on him of whom they have no
[4:16] believe how shall they believe in whom of whom they have no head how shall they
[4:23] hear without a preacher so it takes a preacher to hear then okay verse 15 how
[4:33] shall they preach except they be sent that's what I was looking for except they
[4:37] be sent how do you know a preacher who is sent a preacher who is sent is the one who
[4:44] speaks the word of God for the word to come after you for the word to get you
[4:50] for the word to come alive for the word to become meaningful that's the preacher who
[4:59] is sent from God so for anyone who wants to be a sent preacher three things that
[5:06] must be in your life you must do so you can be a sent preacher you want to know the
[5:11] three things Ezra chapter 7 verse 10 the three qualifications for God to use you as a preacher
[5:20] three things number one for Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the Lord prepared
[5:30] his heart to seek number two and to do it number three and to teach it so prepare your heart what does it mean to prepare your heart
[5:52] search seek the word of God steady the word of God you want to be a preacher you are not studying the word of God what are you going to talk about
[6:01] politics social issues the prophet is not for that the prophet is not for that second Timothy chapter 4 verse 2
[6:10] preach the word that's all your job the job of a pastor is what I can't hear you
[6:17] preach the word what's the job of a preacher preach the word what's the job of a preacher
[6:21] preach the word what are you supposed to preach the word not marriage
[6:25] preach the word don't stand there to try and talk about your opinion it doesn't matter
[6:34] preach so you want to be a preacher but you don't study the word what are you going to preach then
[6:40] preach the word many people are reading the bible to preach it no wrong approach read it to leave it first
[6:49] read it read it to leave it so he read it he prepared himself to to seek he prepared himself to to seek
[6:58] he prepared himself to seek the law of the Lord and to do it obey it

[7:13] so he said going back to our text there is a difference between unity and uniformity and there's
[7:27] certainly a difference between unity and oneness unity and uniformity uniformity is when everything looks the same
[7:39] so that usually the choir might be in uniform police officers might be in uniform
[7:48] nurses doctors so when you go to or even in schools secondary schools there's a uniform you cannot go and wear this
[8:02] school's uniform and go here because when we look at our students they must all look a certain way that's uniform
[8:09] in the church god is not looking for uniformity we all don't have to have the same hairstyle we all don't have to wear
[8:15] tie and suit we all don't have to wear typing we all don't want to wear i don't have to wear the same color we all don't have to
[8:23] shave our head there's there's liberty variety god is a god of variety even ice cream has so many
[8:31] varieties just ice cream there is vanilla there is chocolate there is what strawberry there's bubblegum there's lemon
[8:46] salted caramel
[8:50] honeycomb yeah oreo oreo cherry
[8:57] honey
[8:59] uh
[8:59] biscoff
[9:01] biscoff
[9:03] biscoff

[9:09] different varieties
[9:10] variety is a spice of life it's beautiful it's nice
[9:16] so god when you become born again it's called when everybody must be in a certain form
[9:23] and shape you all must wear this you must or it's a must
[9:29] else god cannot be up god will be upset with you you must wear this you must do this you must go here
[9:35] you must do that then we are beginning to move into the realm of calls because everybody must operate like
[9:42] zumbi the same way okay so god is not expecting the church to be uniform
[9:49] but i expect the church to have unity unity jesus says that love one another and by this the world will
[10:00] know that you are of me john chapter 13 verse 35
[10:04] we have to be united
[10:11] bible talks in colossians chapter 2 he said have the same mind
[10:18] have the same mind the same mind is not
[10:22] it's not uniformity but oneness in the before the holy ghost came
[10:27] acts chapter 2 verse 1 on the day of pentacles they were all together in one place how with one
[10:34] accord that's this oneness there's this unity going there but in ephesians chapter 4 as i told you king james uses the word
[10:44] unity of the spirit but the original greek is oneness of the spirit what's the difference between unity and oneness
[10:53] unity is where there is cohesiveness
[11:00] that everything is like we're working together flowing together so you can bring him bring this one
[11:06] bring let's all sit together and talk or have fun together we are doing this that's unity okay whilst
[11:13] oneness is quite a different thing all together if you pull a strand of hair from this gentleman and you
[11:22] pull a strand of hair from this gentleman when you take it to the lab you can tell that this are from
[11:29] two different people but if you take his nail and his hair and you take it to the lab you can tell that
[11:35] they have something in common it is the same life so oneness talks about life it's like this so so so
[11:44] so we i might not know you but the fact that you are christian watch this this is a serious thing i might
[11:52] not know you but you can be a christian in japan and i'm a christian in england and yet we have oneness
[11:59] we have oneness so the boundaries of christianity is not defined by geographical location the boundaries
[12:11] of christianity is not defined by denomination the boundary of christianity is not defined by culture
[12:19] or race you can be in a different culture from somebody else and yet you still have oneness
[12:26] we might not even speak the same language but we still have oneness so oneness for instance the blood
[12:34] that flows in my toe is the same blood that flows in my ear why because they have oneness my body is one
[12:43] body every part of my body shares this oneness shares this what makes the body one is that it shares one life
[12:54] a shared life a shared life that is what makes the church an organism more than an organization
[13:05] the difference between an organism and an organization is an organization is amalgamation or bringing together
[13:18] of different components so when you look at your car your car is made up of parts so in some countries
[13:30] they don't manufacture the car but they assemble the car it's called an assembling plant they have a plan
[13:37] that assembles different different things so like this microphone this microphone is very interesting
[13:46] just let me let you in on this this microphone is very interesting they don't sell it like this
[13:52] they sell it as parts not all micro many microphones as you use but but this is professional microphone so you buy this
[14:02] you buy the it's called a capsule you buy the capsule which is a different price so there are different type of
[14:10] capsules you can buy this is one amazing one okay so you buy the capsule and then you buy the battery
[14:18] so and this they sell this separately so and this they sell this separately and now you get a professional microphone
[14:26] and it's you assemble them together so it's one one unit but it's made up of assembled part the difference between this
[14:37] and my arm is that even though my arm has also got parts
[14:43] uh really i've got the fingers and i've got the the wrists and all these parts the parts what makes
[14:57] it an organism is that it shares one life so it's the same life that over time has become this i didn't buy my
[15:06] if the battery goes wrong you can buy another one but not your hand
[15:16] you can go and buy somebody's hand and start using
[15:20] that's why you have prosthetic limbs it's not it is not organic
[15:27] the body of christ the church is organic it's organism so if you become born again it's an organic
[15:35] extension of the so i'm an organic part of jesus
[15:42] and the this is the message the fact that you have become a christian means you share one life with me
[15:52] and so we are organic we have an organic union
[15:57] not just an organization but organism which have an organic union so when you become born again god
[16:11] as himself organically to you
[16:17] is someone getting what i'm saying
[16:20] so
[16:22] now when you look at the christian church
[16:26] what
[16:28] is the basis of our oneness
[16:30] the basis of our oneness the bible didn't leave us in the dark it makes it clear to us
[16:39] ephesians chapter 4 verse 3 endeavor to keep the oneness of the spirit you didn't start the
[16:46] oneness the spirit of god who does it keep it your job is to keep it do anything possible to keep this
[16:52] oneness endeavor to keep the oneness in the in the bond of peace then he begins to tell us the seven
[16:58] what makes areas of oneness number one he says that there is one body
[17:06] one body
[17:10] i know of i have friends who are in redeemed christian church of god
[17:15] i have friends who are in the presbyterian church of a prostrate prostrate prostrate prostrate
[17:24] i have friends who are in um the baptist
[17:29] church i have friends who uh brothers who are in the assemblies of god church i have friends who are in
[17:38] first love
[17:39] I have friends who are in Winners Chapel.
[17:46] I have friends who are in Church of God in Christ.
[17:50] I have friends who are in different churches,
[17:53] different churches.
[17:54] We can be here,
[17:55] and maybe another church is also going on somewhere
[17:58] in another auditorium.
[17:59] As long as it's a Christian church,
[18:01] we have oneness.
[18:03] Why?
[18:03] Because it's the same body.
[18:06] It's not like this one is European body,
[18:08] and then this one is American body of Christ.

[18:11] There is only one body.
[18:14] So he said there is one body.

[23:45] What makes you part of Christ
[23:46] is not just coming
[23:47] to a church.
[23:51] What makes you part of Christ
[23:52] is the spirit dwelleth in you.
[23:56] I taught you the letter.

[23:57] the indwelling spirit.
[24:00] The spirit of God
[24:02] indwells us.
[24:04] That's what makes
[24:05] us children of God.
[24:07] That's what makes us
[24:08] part of Christ.

[26:19] and you receive Jesus,

[27:16] it's from his inner man.

[27:42] our outward man

[28:03] Romans says that,
[28:04] for as many as are led
[28:06] by the spirit of God,
[28:08] they are the sons of God.

[28:12] It says,

[28:14] you have to shout that,
[28:15] for ye have not received
[28:17] the spirit of bondage.
[28:18] That means when you're born again,
[28:19] you receive a spirit.
[28:21] And he said,
[28:22] the spirit you have received
[28:23] is not a spirit of bondage.

[28:26] But you have received
[28:27] a spirit of adoption.
[28:29] You have been adopted
[28:30] into the family of God.
[28:34] Whereby we cry,
[28:35] Abba Father,
[28:36] they can copy our cry,
[28:37] but they can't mimic our adoption.
[28:43] They can copy the way we cry,
[28:45] but they can't copy our nature.
[28:47] Because this nature thing
[28:49] is a spiritual thing.

[28:52] Verse 16 says that,
[28:54] for the spirit himself
[28:55] bears witness with our spirit
[28:58] that we are the sons of God,
[29:01] the children of God.

[29:03] there is an internal evidence.
