[0:19] And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night and said unto him,
[0:24] I have heard thy prayer and have chosen this place for myself for a house of sacrifice.
[0:33] And if I shut up the heaven, that there be no rain.
[0:38] Or if I command the locusts to devour the land.
[0:43] And if I send pestilence among my people.
[0:48] If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways.
[1:02] Then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land.
[1:10] Here ends the reading of God's Word.
[1:12] Father, thank you so much for the privilege to be here to hear your word.
[1:16] We pray that as we hear your word, give us access into yourself.
[1:20] Give us a revelation of yourself.
[1:23] And command the heavens to open upon us.
[1:26] To encounter you in a very special way through your word.
[1:30] Let the supernatural be triggered to your glory in Jesus name.

[1:40] Now, somebody say, I believe in the supernatural.
[1:43] I believe in the supernatural.
[1:46] Say, I believe in the supernatural.
[1:48] I believe in the supernatural.
[1:49] I want to share a few things.
[1:51] I'll go back to Acts but because we are fasting.
[1:55] And what is happening is, things are actually happening.
[2:02] And I think it's better I steer us all in the direction of taking responsibility for the hand of God showing up in our lives.
[2:13] Many people have always thought that if God would do it, he would do it anyway.
[2:17] No.
[2:17] Prayer is asking God for his will to be done on earth.
[2:26] If it to be done anyway, why should you pray that it should be?
[2:30] As it is in heaven.
[2:31] So in heaven, it's settled.
[2:33] But as to whether it will happen on earth, somebody will have to take responsibility.
[2:38] Has to take responsibility to evoke, to provoke it into manifestation.
[2:47] So when you talk about the supernatural, the supernatural is simply the intervention of what is beyond the natural in the natural course of affairs.
[3:01] So in the natural course of affairs, something that is beyond the natural intervenes.
[3:07] So that's why we say supernatural is extraordinary.
[3:12] It's above the natural.
[3:14] Above the norm.
[3:15] Above what naturally can happen.
[3:18] For instance, for a virgin to conceive and give birth.
[3:22] That is purely supernatural.
[3:25] Completely supernatural.
[3:26] There was a storm and Jesus said, peace be still.
[3:30] And the storm ceases.
[3:32] That's supernatural.
[3:35] That's completely supernatural.
[3:37] And the supernatural is not only relegated to Bible times.
[3:41] The supernatural is one of the manifestations of the intervention of God.
[3:48] So when God is at work, sometimes you call the supernatural miracles.
[3:55] When God is at work, something extraordinary, above the norm, above the natural happens.
[4:02] For a man who is 99 years old to have a child with his 90-year-old wife, it's above the natural.
[4:10] I am here to let you know that, you see, the Christianity that does not involve the workings of God in the natural is not complete.
[4:24] It's not complete.
[4:26] When Jesus showed up in John chapter 3, verse 2, Nicodemus comes to Jesus and he says that,
[4:32] You are a teacher, come from God.
[4:34] For no man can do these miracles that you do, except God is with him.
[4:40] See, that means that when there's a God dimension, you begin to see the supernatural.
[4:46] When there's a God dimension, the supernatural validates the God dimension.
[4:52] And I believe that sometimes people say, I don't care, I don't believe until they see the supernatural.
[4:57] They said concerning Jesus in Mark chapter 2, that we have never seen anything like this before.
[5:07] In Luke chapter 5, today our eyes have seen strange things.
[5:12] What is this?
[5:13] This is amazing.
[5:15] Your life is about to send shivers in the spans of the enemy.
[5:22] God is about to give somebody a testimony.
[5:24] Amen.
[5:24] In our Bible reading today, we saw in verse 1, Psalm 48, the verse 1, it says that,
[5:35] Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
[5:43] In Psalm 47, verse 8, it says, God is enthroned.
[5:48] He reigns.
[5:50] He is seated on the throne of his holiness.
[5:53] Holiness means exceptionalism.
[5:56] It's different from everybody.
[5:58] It reigns.
[5:59] So in today's, it says that, great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
[6:07] Verse 2 says that, beautiful for situ.
[6:11] That's a strong statement.
[6:14] Beautiful for situ.
[6:15] The joy of the whole world.
[6:17] Beautiful for situation.
[6:19] Beautiful for situation.
[6:21] It doesn't matter what kind of situation you are in or you are faced with.
[6:25] God, when he shows up, he makes everything beautiful.
[6:29] Beautiful for situation.
[6:30] So he can show up and turn everything upside down or everything round in your favor.
[6:39] That's God.
[6:40] That's God.
[6:41] That's our God.
[6:42] He's beautiful for situation.
[6:43] He's the joy of the whole, whole earth.
[6:46] It says that, on the side of the north end, the city of the great king.
[6:50] God is our great king.
[6:51] Verse 3 says that God is known in a palace for refuge.
[6:54] The first is that, for Lord, the kings were assembled and they passed by together.
[7:03] Those who matter.
[7:05] Those who are the authorities of our times.
[7:09] They passed by together.
[7:10] They observed.
[7:12] And when they see the hand of God, look at verse 5.
[7:14] They see the hand of God.
[7:15] They saw it.
[7:17] And so they marveled.
[7:19] They were troubled and hasted away.
[7:22] It's about time.
[7:23] God settles a certain matter for somebody.
[7:27] Those who are the authorities.
[7:28] Somebody is about to go back to the medical kings.
[7:32] Do you know their name?
[7:34] Consultants.
[7:36] They are kings of medical practice.
[7:38] Somebody is about to go to the medical kings.
[7:41] They will look at your previous scan or test results.
[7:46] And they look at the camera and they say, no, something is not adding up here.
[7:50] Something is not adding up here.
[7:51] God has gotten involved.
[7:53] I'm announcing to somebody that God is about to get involved in a situation.
[7:59] In the mighty name of Jesus.
[8:02] Few things we have to know about the supernatural is that the supernatural is real.
[8:08] It's real.
[8:10] I almost said, I don't believe.
[8:11] No problem.
[8:11] I was with a miracle working man of God.
[8:15] Many years ago, I think in 1996, he said, I had a privilege of being in a room with him and my spiritual father.
[8:23] And he said, some people said, I don't believe in miracles.
[8:26] He said, but when they need one, they will.
[8:28] You will say, don't believe in miracles.
[8:30] So the doctors have given you two weeks to live.
[8:34] And you don't want to die.
[8:36] And you have to live.
[8:38] You better believe in one.
[8:41] Because what do you have to lose if you don't?
[8:43] If you believe.
[8:45] And it doesn't work.
[8:46] It doesn't exist.
[8:48] But you have everything to lose.
[8:49] If you don't believe and the thing can work.
[8:51] I see God working for somebody.
[8:53] The supernatural is real.
[8:55] So number one, the supernatural is the intervention of what is beyond the natural.
[9:00] In the natural course of affairs.
[9:02] Number two, the supernatural is real.
[9:03] Number three, one of the things I want you to know about the supernatural is that it's part of the creation order.
[9:09] I will explain it.
[9:10] The supernatural is part of the creation order.
[9:13] The creation order is when you throw something up, what happens?
[9:18] If it's not a balloon or something.
[9:19] If I, this microphone, if I throw it, what happens?
[9:23] Why?
[9:25] That's gravity.
[9:26] It's natural order.
[9:28] Natural order.
[9:29] There are laws that govern nature.
[9:32] If you don't sleep and you don't sleep, you choose not to sleep.
[9:36] You are so strong now, you choose not to sleep again.
[9:39] You are working against nature.
[9:42] You know, there are things that every one of us need to be doing.
[9:44] That's why fasting cannot be every day the rest of your life.
[9:50] It's against the natural order.
[9:53] Okay.
[9:53] So there are some things that are part of the natural order.
[9:56] If a woman is pregnant, if a woman is pregnant for four years, it's unnatural.
[10:02] When a woman takes seed, the hospital, the doctors, they will tell you the due date.
[10:13] They can calculate.
[10:14] Because the natural order in nine months' time or in 40 weeks' time for the baby to come just around that time.
[10:21] So it does.
[10:22] They can calculate based on the natural order.
[10:24] And I'm also telling you that the supernatural is part of the natural order.
[10:29] Even though you don't see it regularly, it's part of the natural order.
[10:34] Amen.
[10:34] And then, Nama, the next point I want us to appreciate about the supernatural is that it runs parallel to the natural order.
[10:43] All the time.
[10:45] I'll explain it.
[10:46] What does it mean for it to run parallel?
[10:48] It's available to act.
[10:51] It's available.
[10:52] The supernatural is always available.
[10:55] So why don't we see it?
[10:56] Somebody say, if there's God, why are people suffering?
[10:59] I'm going to explain it.
[11:02] Why you can be suffering and God can't do anything.
[11:05] Two people can go through similar situations, similar predicaments, and one will come out victorious and the other one will drown.
[11:14] How?
[11:14] The sea the Israelites went through, it drowned the Egyptian army.
[11:19] It's the same sea.
[11:19] The deserts that also came from Egypt.
[11:24] The Israelites.
[11:25] Two million of them.
[11:26] They died apart from Joshua and Caleb.
[11:29] Including Moses.
[11:30] They all died in the wilderness.
[11:32] Does that mean no one arrived in Egypt?
[11:34] A lot of them arrived in Egypt.
[11:35] So who are they?
[11:37] They were the desert babies.
[11:39] They were born in the desert.
[11:40] Where others were dying, that's where they...
[11:42] You didn't hear what I said.
[11:43] Where others died, that's where they began living.
[11:49] It's not everybody who will sink the way others sink.
[11:53] That same condition that has come to others and they have been cut off.
[11:59] It will come to you and rather it will...

[12:03] It will be like the wind in your sail.
[12:05] I feel the power of God here.
[12:08] I don't know who I came to prophesy to.
[12:11] But I'm telling you, what killed others is going to bring life into you.
[12:18] What drowned others is going to make you float.
[12:23] In the name of Jesus.
[12:26] Somebody shout, I believe in the supernatural.
[12:28] I believe in the supernatural.
[12:29] And then final point I want to add is that the supernatural can be engaged.
[12:38] If it's running parallel to the natural, then it can be engaged or provoked or triggered.
[12:48] So it can lie dormant until triggered.
[12:52] You can trigger the supernatural.
[12:55] You can provoke the...
[12:56] I'm talking today about provoking the supernatural.
[12:59] There are things you can do to cause God to be engaged.
[13:05] Now, there are different philosophies when it comes to God.
[13:11] There's what most of us know about which is atheism.
[13:16] Atheism means that the atheists believe there's no God.
[13:22] Atheists believe there's no God.
[13:23] And the agnostics believe there's no certainty whether he's there or there's no...
[13:29] We don't know.
[13:31] So just live your life.
[13:33] Okay, Sarah, Sarah.
[13:36] So we have the atheists.
[13:37] We have the agnostics.
[13:39] And so atheism believes that there's no God.
[13:43] Agnostism believes that you are not quite sure.
[13:46] And then we have the pantheism.
[13:49] Pantheism believes that God is identical to the universe.
[13:54] So many, many different gods.
[13:56] The cow can be a God.
[13:57] The speaker can turn into...
[13:58] It's a God, you know.
[14:00] Everything created.
[14:01] So there's some God.
[14:03] And all kinds of...
[14:06] Anything created can...
[14:08] Is identical to God.
[14:09] So there's no God anywhere.
[14:10] It's just...
[14:11] It's just Emmanuel.
[14:12] And then...
[14:13] So part of pantheism is the animism.
[14:16] Where they worship certain animals and believe that certain things created have power.
[14:21] So we have all that.
[14:23] But the two most important ones I want to draw to your attention is theism.
[14:30] Everybody say theism.
[14:31] What's theism?
[14:33] The belief that God created the world.
[14:36] God is part of running of the world.
[14:39] God is involved.
[14:40] God works miracles.
[14:41] He sends prophets.
[14:42] He uses people.
[14:44] That's theism.
[14:45] And then we have daism.
[14:49] Daism is not the same as theism.
[14:52] Daism is like a clock master who designs the clock, sets it in a...
[15:00] When you buy a clock, it doesn't have to come to your house to be checked if it's way.
[15:02] It's done it and it's...
[15:03] Leave it to run on its own.
[15:05] So daism believes that God...
[15:08] Actually, there's a God who created everything.
[15:10] But when he finished, he left and is going to mind his own business.
[15:14] So God is not involved in the running of affairs in life.
[15:18] They don't believe in the supernatural.
[15:20] God doesn't send angels.
[15:22] God doesn't send prophets.
[15:23] God doesn't do anything.
[15:25] He can't even do anything because he's no more involved.
[15:27] We have taken over.
[15:28] So now, why am I talking about all these?
[15:30] So daism is possible to think you are a daist.
[15:36] Meanwhile, you are a daist.
[15:37] A daist doesn't believe God can do anything.
[15:40] God works anything.
[15:41] When you don't pray, you are almost behaving like a daist.

[15:48] When we say, let's go and pray, say, oh, prayer.

[15:51] Do you believe in God?
[15:53] Yeah, yeah, I believe in some way.
[15:56] But you don't believe he works.
[15:58] If you believe he works, then you believe he can work in your life.
[16:02] Then you can believe in the supernatural.
[16:04] And so the supernatural runs parallel to the natural.
[16:11] It takes somebody to do something to trigger the supernatural.
[16:16] So then, this is what it means.
[16:19] Satan can be killing you and God won't do anything about it.
[16:24] Yeah.
[16:24] Where is his power?
[16:25] No, no, no.
[16:26] His power is available for those who trigger it.
[16:30] Many of us here, I believe, I'm not wrong,
[16:33] are a product of somebody's prayer.
[16:37] You remember how grandma used to pray for you?
[16:40] You remember mom, some of you,
[16:42] you remember mom would be mentioning your name and praying for you.
[16:44] And today, look at how fine you are in church.
[16:48] You are a product of somebody's prayer.
[16:50] Even though you never believed it, you couldn't be bothered,
[16:53] some people pray you into it.
[16:55] You are a fruit of somebody's seed of prayer.
[16:58] In the same way, your testimony is going to be
[17:01] the fruit of your seed of prayer,
[17:04] of triggering the supernatural.
[17:06] So, it's important to understand that
[17:13] if you want to see God,
[17:16] you have to seek God.
[17:20] It is those who seek his face
[17:23] that see his face.
[17:25] I want to know if there's God,
[17:29] why has his face shown up?
[17:30] His face won't show up.
[17:32] Because he has committed himself
[17:34] to prayer and certain things.
[17:37] Somebody must take responsibility on earth
[17:39] to engage God.
[17:42] Somebody.
[17:43] If there's going to be
[17:45] divine intervention anywhere,
[17:49] in any way, any way.
[17:50] So, let's say,
[17:51] some people are suffering.

[17:54] If there's God,
[17:55] why are people suffering there?
[17:56] If you can pray,
[17:58] you will see the signs of the hand of God.

[18:01] So, the supernatural is always available on hand.
[18:05] But it takes those who call on him to trigger.
[18:09] So, you can trigger the supernatural

[18:14] some people are going to trigger

[18:21] how do you trigger the supernatural?

[19:10] and he's going to work

[19:38] but it's a supernatural source.

[20:07] what are some of the things,

[20:20] You are very intellectual
[20:21] but you believe in a crystal ball.

[20:24] when you give yourself
[20:25] to meddle in those kind of things,
[20:28] you are opening yourself
[20:29] to demonic invasions.

[20:33] so that lady
[20:33] in Acts chapter 16,
[20:35] young girl,
[20:36] verse 16,
[20:37] who was prophesying
[20:38] and speaking about Paul
[20:40] and Silas,
[20:42] that they are the men of God
[20:43] showing us the way of salvation.
[20:44] It was true
[20:45] but she was using,
[20:47] it's a sorcerer,
[20:48] she was using sorcery.
[20:49] If you expose yourself
[20:50] to sorcery,
[20:51] necromancy,
[20:52] soothsaying,
[20:53] all those things
[20:54] that we just said,
[20:55] you are exposing,
[20:56] opening up yourself,
[20:57] not only yourself
[20:58] but anyone connected to you,
[21:01] especially your children,
[21:02] they are your direct connection.
[21:03] You are opening your family up
[21:05] to demonic invasion.

[21:11] the evil spirits inside.

[21:14] that is a negative supernatural

[22:21] how do you trigger

[22:25] Faith is absolute

[22:33] even sure about?
[22:35] The uncertainty
[22:36] in our prayer
[22:37] is what undermines
[22:39] the efficacy

[24:04] So faith in our
[24:05] prayer is what
[24:06] even makes our
[24:07] prayer work.
[24:08] So faith is
[24:09] fundamental.
[24:10] Faith is
[24:11] foundational.
