In grad school, marriage researcher Carol Bruess published a study showing that couples who use nicknames and personal terms of endearment have happier marriages. To this day, Carol still gets calls from people referencing this study to find other quick fixes for their relationships. In this talk, Carol shares the lessons she's learned after more than two decades of research--and marriage.
