LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) is the world's most sensitive direct detection experiment to weak-scale dark matter-matter interactions. The two-phase time projection chamber has an active mass of seven tonnes of liquid xenon, and is located at the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF) with a 4300 meter water-equivalent overburden. It is the largest such detector currently operating, and has published results with a 5.7 tonne-year exposure, placing limits on a $40~\mathrm{GeV/}c^2$ WIMP of $2.2^{-48}~\mathrm{cm}^2$ at $90\%$ confidence level. In this talk I will describe the LZ experiment, the constraints it sets on WIMP-nucleon interactions, including a dedicated low-threshold search which achieved the most significant evidence so far of coherent elastic neutrino nucleus scattering of $^8\mathrm{B}$ solar neutrinos at 4.5$\sigma$.
