This text is designed for introductory anthropology courses providing a survey of anthropology from a four-fields perspective. Units within this text cover an overview of anthropology and the four fields, evolution and biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, archaeology, and linguistic anthropology. A final unit presents applied anthropology as bringing the four subfields back together.
