This is an introductory textbook of exercise physiology, with some advanced material. It is unique in that it contains chapters on immunology, muscle cell signaling and the child in exercise physiology that are not typically contained in a book of this nature. In addition, there is a unique introductory chapter that reviews some of the basics of learning exercise physiology.
