# Helen with the High Hand

An audiobook by Arnold Bennett, read by LibriVox volunteers (5 h 13 min, English).

James Ollerenshaw is a middle-aged, wealthy bachelor who lives in Bursley, one of the Five Towns. A chance encounter with Helen, his great step niece, a determined young lady in her twenties, turns his whole world – and hers - upside down. The book humorously follows the fortunes of them both as we learn more about the pair. - (Summary by Simon Evers)
