# His Lady Friend

An audiobook by Ring Lardner, read by LibriVox volunteers (13 min, English).

This week's poem is taken from Ringgold Wilmer "Ring" Lardner's Bib Ballads book of poetry about his child. In his Forward he says Dear Parents:—Don't imagine, please, It's in a boastful spirit I fashion verses such as these;... ...But babes are babes, and mine, no doubt, Is very much like others.
