By Charles de Coster.

"The Legend of Ulenspiegel, Volume 1 (of 2)" by Charles de Coster is a novel published in 1867. This epic tale transforms the medieval German folk hero Till Eulenspiegel into Thyl Ulenspiegel, a Flemish trickster fighting against Spanish rule during the Dutch Revolt.
