# The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 08: Convent Affairs

By Giacomo Casanova.

"The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova de Seingalt, 1725-1798. Volume 08: Convent..." is part of an autobiography written in French in the late 18th century. Giacomo Casanova chronicles his adventurous life as an 18th-century Venetian in this sprawling 3,500-page work. Originally censored and mistranslated through German editions, the true manuscript remained hidden for over a century. This volume captures a portion of Casanova's extraordinary experiences, written in the language of European high society, preserving the voice of history's most famous adventurer.
