"傷寒論" by Zhongjing Zhang is a Traditional Chinese medicine treatise compiled before 220 AD at the end of the Han dynasty. One of the oldest complete clinical textbooks in the world, it presents 398 sections with 113 herbal prescriptions organized into Six Divisions. Each division corresponds to a different stage of disease pathogenesis, ranging from milder external symptoms to severe internal conditions, with specific treatment principles for each stage.
