Rotary snowplow RhB Xrotd 9213 working on the Bernina Line at Lago Bianco, Switzerland. This picture was taken on a special event for photographers, but operations like this were common until the 1960s. Today the Xrotd is rarely used, when there's lots of snow to clear, and it's mainly kept for the pleasure of railfans. The pushing locomotive is a dual mode (diesel and electric) Gem 4/4.
