Pacu jawi (from the Minang language: "cattle race") is a traditional sports event contested in Tanah Datar District, West Sumatra, Indonesia. In this event, a pair of bulls run along a muddy paddy track with a length of 60-250 meters, while a jockey stands behind, holding both bulls.
