Elizabeth Quay Bridge, Perth, Western Australia, Australia The Elizabeth Quay Bridge is a striking pedestrian bridge in Perth city center. It was built as part of the Elizabeth Quay urban development project, which aimed to strengthen the connection between the city center and the Swan River. The bridge opened in 2016. Its curved, asymmetrical design is characteristic. Two sloping steel arches support the structure and give it a dynamic, modern shape. With a length of around 110 meters, it spans a side arm of the Swan River and connects the promenade with the island in the harbour basin. The bridge is intended exclusively for pedestrians and cyclists and offers views of the Perth skyline. In the evening, it is illuminated and is a popular photo motif. The Elizabeth Quay Bridge symbolizes the urban renewal of the waterfront area and the opening of the city to the water.
