Impatiens scapiflora is found in many parts of Southern India, this flower is often confused with Impatiens acaulis, which is also common in Southern India. But the two species are easily distinguished by their flower. In I.scapilflora the lower petal is deeply bilobed, whereas in I.acauils they are single lobed.
