Former blast furnace #2 belonging to the now defunct company Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A. (Mediterranean Blast Furnaces Ltd.), located in Port of Sagunto, Valencian Community, Spain. The company Altos Hornos del Mediterráneo S.A (AHM), based on the Altos Hornos de Vizcaya S.A., was established in 1971 to supply the ferrous metal industry in Sagunto. This blast furnace, the only one remaining of the 3 that were operating, is 64 m high and was first built in 1922 and remodeled in the 1970s. It operated for only 13 years after its restoration, and is open to visits from the public.
