Potentilla hookeriana photographed in evening sun near the airport in Upernavik, Greenland. The species identification is not entirely certain. The leaves could also indicate that the plant is the closely related species Potentilla nivea. However, I have afterwards (when I knew what to look for) positively identified other P. hookeriana in the area, but never seen a P. nivea. I therefore find it highly probable that it is a P. hookeriana.
