The Lakshminarasimha Temple at Javagal (12th century) is a fine example of Hoysala architecture, built from chloritic schist with a star-shaped plan. It features a sanctum, a spacious mantapa with lathe-turned pillars, and intricately carved walls depicting deities, mythological scenes, and floral motifs.
