White wooden house with a small beach and an old motorboat of Pettersson type in Norra Grundsund, Lysekil Municipality, Sweden. Even though much of the Swedish west coast is afflicted by tourism, there are places like this where little has changed. Houses that are renovated or replaced, stay true to the previous designs. Even the carefully preserved small motorboat is the same as some 80 years ago. The weather is very harsh here all through the year, and vegetation seldom grows taller than the nearest sheltering cliff.
