A religious fresco located in Rila Monastery, Bulgaria. This piece of art was created in 19th century by an unknown painter, maybe a monk. The saint in the left is John of Damascus or in Greek Ιωάννης ο Δαμασκηνός, best known for his strong defence of icons during Byzantine Iconoclasm. The saint in the right is saint Kosmas, another important eastern orthodox saint. The central figure of the fresco is Virgin Mary surrounded by 14 angels, while standing on a cloud.
