The Milky Way over Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in the Caucasus Mountains. The Serpens-Aquila Rift stands in the center of the view: a group of dark interstellar clouds in the constellations Aquila, Serpens Cauda, and eastern Ophiuchus. The constellations Sagitta, Delphinus, and Scutum are also included in the star field, as well as portions Sagittarius and Capricornus constellations. The bright star in the center is Altair, while the planet Jupiter shines on the lower left.
