Bar-café Chez Salah, Rue de Tourcoing, in Roubaix. Once surrounded by houses and industrial buildings, Chez Salah is the only building on a street in a former working-class neighbourhood that has won the right not to be demolished. Still in use in 2022, it symbolises the resistance of immigrant textile workers in this area undergoing complete redevelopment.
