Heyne reading room of the Göttingen State and University Library in Lower Saxony, Germany, in September 2022. After a series of thefts, the reading room, considered one of the most beautiful library halls in Germany, was closed to users in 2010. The reading room contains around 200,000 volumes from the old holdings of the Göttingen University Library. Photo taken with friendly permission of the SUB Göttingen.
