A freight train hauled by two Ge 4/4 I locomotives (610 and 605, both 68 years old!) bound for Samedan is waiting for an ABe 4/16 "Allegra" as S1 1512 Rhäzüns - Schiers to clear the single track to Bonaduz. The freight train is using the recently completed box girder steel bridge, while the S-Bahn is using the refurbished steel truss bridge. In the background you can see Reichenau castle and the town of Tamins, Switzerland to the left, and the station of Reichenau-Tamins to the right. The rivers are the Vorderrhein (left) and Hinterrhein (right) merging into the Rhine flowing away from the viewer.
